Fun Bowl of Henry County

Fun Bowl of Henry County

Reviews Summary

Fun Bowl offers a mix of experiences with mostly positive family-friendly entertainment. Many praise the variety of activities (bowling, mini-golf, laser tag, arcade) and clean facilities, though some note issues with lane malfunctions, slow service, or indifferent staff. Food quality receives mixed reviews, with some calling it terrible while others find it acceptable. Pricing is seen as reasonable by some but overpriced by others, especially for bowling. The atmosphere is generally lively, though occasional maintenance and customer service problems detract from the experience. Overall, it’s recommended for casual outings but inconsistent in execution.

This is the best family friendly bowling alley to take your family out on outing. They play positive and uplifting music. We have been to several places that play music with inappropriate music videos displayed on large screens everywhere, forcing your kids to view. We love that we don't have to worry about the here. The staff is always friendly. Not only that but they have laser tag, pool, food arcade games, mini golf for only 8$ a player and they have just opened up the first Duck Pin Bowling Alley in the

Had a birthday party for kids and grownups over the weekend. Bowling, lazer tag, mini golf, and arcade. Fantastic time and the hostess Akilah (sp?) was jam up! Super friendly and super helpful. A great time overall. Can't recommend it enough!

This place was really fun. The ball sizes were fair. The atmosphere was loud and a bit overwhelming but I still enjoyed my time. I hated that the price of socks were 5.00 that's kind of expensive for basic mediocre socks and they were in a vending machine. They serve alcohol but there was a very limited selection. The seats were extremely close together which I hated more than anything and the constant screens and advertisements all over the place was too much but again it was still fun and not that dif

I was surprised at how clean and lively Fun Bowl was for a middle of the week family outing. Exceptional and friendly staff. To my knowledge, only one game was down. Most places I visit are dark, dingy and many times games are in need of repair. Thank you!

I like this bowling alley, but the Pro Shop is small and very limited. The food also needs improvement. The settee area at this location is a little tight compared to the Fayetteville location. The leagues are fun, but if you're thinking of joining try to sign up early. The spots fill up fast.

This place was great! Very clean and well kept. Multiple things to do. The lady at the front desk was sweet and helpful with info since this was our first time there, and the man running the food bar had a great attitude and was very friendly. Overall great experience!

I visited this facility today for the first time. Enjoyed the bowling game with my family HOWEVER we were waiting for my daughter to come from the rest room while waiting AT THE LANE staff COMES over and basically throwing us out. They Didn't even BOTHER TO ask if were we planning to play AGAIN just SAID WE NEED THIS LANE. I KNOW IT DOESN'T MATTER TO THE STAFF IF I COME BACK OR NOT BUT I WONT... FELT SOME KINDA WAY. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.. RUDE STAFF.....

came here w the cousins but didn't feel like bowling and instead played in the arcade. we had so much fun! there were plenty of games and the best part is that they were reasonably priced. prize room selection was mid, but the experience was more valuable to me anyways!

Brought my 5 year old grandson here while the older kids enjoyed paint balling. He loved it! Plenty for him to do and play.

Their food may look good on the picture but it was terrible, we waited 20 minutes for Luke warm food and cold nachos. DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE PIZZA, it looked so good on the picture but once we got it the bread tasted like cardboard and the cheese tasted like an abomination from hell. I'm very dissatisfied with the meal we had today and would love either a refund or for yall to do better

First time there and we all had a blast. Mini golf, laser tag, bowling. Nice place for a group outing.

Came for the first time and had a good experience. Price for bowling definitely seemed high, but it has been a while since we have bowled. Also played a round of putt-putt, which was much more reasonably priced. That area seemed well maintained at first glance, but then we noticed that the water features weren't working - which is part of the hole strategy on one of the "back 9." Owner should consider installing a ball catch of some sort on the 18th hole, as we witnessed a few groups just deciding to st

Celebrated my son's 18th birthday here. Fabulous time had by all. This place had something for everyone... all the way down to my 3 year old nephew. Bowling, laser tag, arcade, and putt-putt golf. Using a kiosk to order food and drinks was different. The food was great. Friendly staff. Overall great atmosphere. Will definitely be returning for non- celebratory events, just to have fun!

Great family place. They have plenty of parking. Once inside they something for all ages. Prices were good and we did not break the bank. From bowling, mini golf, pool, laser tag, and a great arcade, you are sure to find something you will love. They have shoes and socks too. The food bar was good too. Give them a try and get ready for a great fun night.

Me and my children came here to bowl for the first time and had a blast. We also ordered food, which was actually good and played in the arcade.

A very friendly a very clean place to go and take your family public bathrooms are nice and clean just a great place to visit or go out and have a night of fun

Very family friendly atmosphere, bowling was great but had the best time playing Laser tag, next time will definitely be playing duck bowling next time.

13th Birthday celebration with Granddaughter family and friends! Everyone really enjoyed themselves. Bowled for 2 hrs, pizza and drinks and a lil arcade and we were good to go! Great family fun!

The facility was busy but orderly and clean. The staff was helpful and polite. Me and my family had a great time.

We bowled for a bit and had fun. No issues really. It would have got 5 stars if it weren't for the cost of some of the games in the arcade.

Nice place with good service, we went for my little sister's birthday party and we bowled ?? vary fun. We are going back for my little brother's and we're going to try out the lazer tag.

Wonderful play for Kids and adults to have a great time

There were 10 of us that went up there to celebrate my son's 38th birthday. All of us played putt-putt and had a blast. Then they played laser tag and the mini bowling thing. They have a very inviting atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The gold course was very clean and well kept... Even inside was nice and clean

It's 11 PM and this is what it looks like?.they cut they lights on at 10:50 to make us feel like we are being booked in the county jail. Can't even watch the projectors or hear the music?not even a disclaimer?I guess the guest have to suffer bc they don't want to pay the employees the clean up time

It is an amazing place to take the kids. Food is overpriced for what it is, but it's normal in this kind of place.

I had a terrible experience here. I come here weekly and decided to bring my kids over the weekend. My lane was messing up (having a delay) the entire time we were here. I mentioned it to the staff once and they were able to fix it. There was a long line the entire Time we were there so we didn't want to complain every time there was a glitch. The lane stopped working before we could even finish our game. When I brought it to the attention of the staff corwin & lando they made it seem as if I was the proble

this was my family's first time going to fun bowl. And I was very impressed, the kids really enjoyed themselves. we played mini golf, bowling, ate food and played games...I'm exhausted lol. kids ate hot dogs and grilled cheese, with fries and drinks. oh yeah and cookies lol. family filled atmosphere and great environment.

Amazing a good place for the family to have fun it was clean the restaurants was clean the customer service was amazing the food is OK.

Impressed by how clean this place is. There's so much to do. Bowling, arcade, laser tag, and more. Would recommend to friends and family. I've been in Henry county 6 years and didn't know about this place until yesterday. Happy we found this hidden gem.

Came to bowl with our coupons for free bowl that we had received at our last visit. We played our first round with just having to pay for shoes, which was awesome. Then I went to use our last of four coupons to play a second round (pay for 2 ppl) - and suddenly the ?policy? changed and the counter would not accept my coupon. Super confused and told her that not 20 minutes ago our coupons were accepted for the first round. She just states ?well? the last girl didn't know what she was doing, and we do not acc

My boys had a blast and earlier in the week I showed my oldest who is 16, Im still still the Alpha male.

It had been a while since my last visit but, I was pleasantly surprised at all the new updates. All of the employees were extremely nice and welcoming. The facility was extremely clean and all of the machines functioned perfectly. Our group also felt very safe as well. This was a good experience and we will be visiting again soon. Thank you!

Went for Mother's Day 2024 and left disappointed. Our lane had multiple issues. We walked up to the staff 3 times, and they didn't seem to care. I asked if we could move, but they said they were full even though we saw open lanes. We had to hit the service button a few times and more waiting. I understand that sometimes these things happen, but when I told the staff we are trying to enjoy our Mother's Day together, at least offer a comp game for another day or something that shows you care.

Really love this place, so much to do with a friendly atmosphere!

It was me and my son and we had a blast the workers were nice and it was set up for everyone to enjoy. I will go back soon

I had such a fun time here w my family, it was our first time coming! & Tammy gave us some great information on how to enjoy it even more when we come back!! thank you so much Tammy! you were awesome!

Went in and was told the price to bowl $32.00 per hour and walked out.

Large amount of activities located here but if using cash it must be converted to a swipeable card to pay for your purchases. Fortunately, they have kiosks on the premises to manage this task.

Had so much fun bowling here during glow bowl. Prices are pretty good and it was nice to have the bumpers automatically set up for the younger ones. They also have this handy helper if the ball is too heavy. They can just sit the ball at the top and push it down.

Best looking bowling alley in the area. Not overly crowded and staff was very friendly. However, last couple visits have been very expensive. They charge a load of money to play just one game of bowling.

This is a great place for family night, or for an adults only night. The arcade is fun; there are lots of games to play. We did the arcade, shot pool, and bowled.

We tried to have a good time honestly but the lanes were not good. I'm not a bowling snob but have bowled in other countries and across the USA. The machine malfunctioning every other bowl wasn't helpful at all. It took us an hour for five frames and when we questioned the gal at the counter she would just say I fixed it and finally the last time she said well I credited you 15 min back. I was polite and not rude at all but we want the time to finish bowling not the money. It was an experience for my k

Although our scores don't reflect the fun we had... it is great just to get out with your family on a weekday and have fun.

Weight gain prices very fun activities kids love the games only thing was that lazertag tag was closed

I really enjoyed how everything was explained once I got there and it was very easy to understand. The kids loved the arcade and the grown ups got a chance to bowl. Everyone enjoyed themselves and I thank you so much for helping me celebrate my daughters birthday!

Had so much fun but food and drinks are very high priced

Good place for family fun. Food is decent.

We had so much fun! Staff was phenomenal and friendly! Look forward to going back soon!

A great place to bring the family for fun..or just to enjoy a time out as a couple. They have made additions and removals which is an indifferent feeling. Many of the additions are digital, ticket and coin based. No real arcade vibe..felt more like a casino. Wish they didn't get rid of the skiball! They have Lazer tag in the den area that's always great for the cardio and stress relief lol. Bowling area looked updated..however it's beginning to look more reserved for Leagues than anything else. Staff is ext

First time visitor. Upon arrival I was told 1-1/2 hour wait for bowling which is normal, but when I asked what the wait time will be for laser tag to pass time, the girl at the front desk couldn't give an answer and I asked did she mind phoning that department which is also normal and she snatched the phone up as if it was a bother for her to do her job but I overlooked it. After waiting the hour and a half and hearing them call other parties for lanes that had already departed, a male who may have been the

We went on a Saturday and had to wait an hour and a half but we knew this before arriving because we called first and the woman had been very nice and upfront about the way things work. We let the kids play in the arcade while we waited. The atmosphere is nice; clean and well-maintained (and not just ?for a bowling alley?) They have automatic bumpers for the kids and a guide for the little ones to roll the ball down on. The prices are decent. I had expected to pay a lot more and was pleasantly surprised by

This place is a lot of fun, it has Bowling plus a large arcade and miniature golf outside. It's fun for all ages love it!

The birthday party for my grandson today was awesome for him and the kids.

Took my staff of 8 to go bowling and was told to wait about 30 minutes for two lanes to become available. The place wasn't crowded at all, and we were a little confused as we looked around and saw numerous lanes available that for some reason we couldn't use. A simple explanation as to why they weren't available would?ve probably put our minds at ease. The lady at the counter must?ve been having a bad day, because she was one of the least friendly people I've ever met. The people preparing the food were sup

We enjoyed the mini golf outside, the music was good and the lady that assisted us was very sweet. The inside was clean with some fun arcade games.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon to do mini golf with a group of four adults. The course is not in the best shape. There were bricks missing from around the border regularly, there were water traps with no water, some of the decorative rocks are broken and you can see the water pumps underneath them, etc. Overall, it was a decent course but definitely more of a mini golf vibe than a fun/silly putt putt vibe. The staff was fairly friendly for the little interaction with them that we had. Wish there was some

I took my son and little cousin there we had a blast. We went for the games and laser tag. The staff was quite attentive and friendly.

Super fun to bowl here. Also quite affordable. Laser tag and mini golf were getting an update and were off limits today so bowling was an easy choice. I realized at the last minute that I didn't bring any socks for the bowling shoes. Apparently they usually have socks in the vending machine but today they were out. I was accommodated by being allowed to bowl in my own shoes as long as they were close toed- they were. I've never been to any bowling alley willing to work with you on that level. Very fun and

If you're interested in a low-key bowling experience, this is the place to go. My husband and I went for a friend's birthday. They have all sorts of arcade games, for all ages, a section with pool tables for adults, but the bowling lane area were too close together and congested. The food was not that great and overpriced. Even though we had fun, I most likely wouldn't go back they really could use a makeover!!!

I'm a bowler, and these lanes are far and away the best maintained lanes in the area (Conyers, Stone Mountain, etc.). Great atmosphere, decent food, and a good pro shop. I highly recommend this spot for bowling or just some family fun.

This is a very clean bowling alley. I enjoy bowling here.

Had an amazing time celebrating my daughter's birthday here. It was fun for the whole family. Only thing i would recommend is that they have someone helping/over seeing the party's and part room area. Friendly staff and yummy pizza will return.

It's a local bowling alley with miniature golf, arcade, laser tag and billards. We usually bowl, eat pizza and nachos. Which my girls seem to enjoy. My youngest always hits up the arcade afterward. On occasion, we play miniature golf. All in all, we have fun. Not cheap, but it doesn't break the bank either. Definitely recommend for a family outing.

Had a fun time out with my family wife & son. ????????????????????

Trash. Weren't greeted, everyone was stuffed together on the end lanes and were told those are the only ones available, that was a good s 18 lanes completely unoccupied. And then the lane we were assigned wasn't even working... We left.. The place looks like it has run down over the years. Never again.

I have been going to Fun Bowl in Fayette county, for years. We went to the Henry county location last night. It was clean, great service and prices. We had a great time. We go every Friday night now. It's still a great place for the family or serious bowler.

We scheduled a party there and I had to ask several questions because no one really explained how the party works. Most of the employees had attitudes. During the party, one of the lanes had many service issues so we spent a lot of time waiting around and asking for assistance. The amount of balls stuck ?- and one pin ?- was ridiculous. After their very rude maintenance person pulled them out, I still had to ask for assistance at least 4 times in the 1 hr and 45 minutes allotted for bowling. Your maintenan

Very chill venue. The arcade games are surprisingly fun and not outdated like most Places. They also have alcohol which makes the experience even more enjoyable for the adults. Great family place. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying out their mini golf course. Only reason I can't give this place five stars is because of the customer service. It isn't terrible, but you can tell they don't really want to be there. Enough so that impacts the experience a tad bit. All in all I'd recommend this p

I'm here now with my kids waiting to play laser tag. The lady at the desk was face down in her phone. Never even noticed that we were standing there. I had to say hey excuse me. She then stood up never said a word. I told her that 5 of us were playing,I paid she sat back down and all into her phone once again. No customer service at all!!! I wish it would let me put no stars!

Fun Bowl was in an odd location off the main strip and in a commercial industrial type building. I say that because you might miss it if your not looking. However, the are 5 stars in my book in every category. Food, beer, lanes, seating, price, atmosphere and most importantly SERVICE all around and including the Pro Shop. The best all around rating in the last 6 to 8 months at least. We travel 4 states for work and bowl almost every week, so you can trust me when I say 5 stars. BTW, they had pool tables an

It was really fun. We are visiting from Utah and stopped to play some bowling and it was great. I lost. But it was fun. Nice lanes and the arcade games looked fun too. There are many lanes so every one was spaced out 3 or 4 lanes which was nice to enjoy your privacy and the games looked updated and new for the kids. Food smelled good too. I do think it's a little pricey just to go bowling. For two people I payed about $17

Sadly this place gets worse every time we go. The staff are mostly young kids and don't even bother to get off their phone to help you. The manager is an adult, but has yet to have a "good day" the past 3 times I have been. The only helpful person I have encountered was Rebecca. I was hoping the third time would be the charm, but it turned out to be strike 3...

My family had a great experience at the Fun Bowl in McDonough. We planned a birthday party for husband. Everything was on que. From the food to the staff helping to make this event a special one. I recommend this facility to anyone. Keep up the great work.

I had an amazing time with the family. We were able to play for 2 hours. More than enough time to eat play and get tired LOL. If I were to make any suggestions it would be the spacing of the seats. We were sitting right on top of the people next to us. But overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it.

This place was great. The staff were so nice and friendly. The food was great and my overall experience was awesome.

They always have leagues going on and never let customers bowl and if they do its only 10 lanes with a 2 hour wait would not recommend this bowling alley ever

I was pleasantly surprised about how nice this place is! I went for mini-golf with my son and we enjoyed the course. It wasn't too easy or hard, but just right. The bowling alley and arcade looked amazing! I recommend to anyone looking to have fun at any age.

The McDonough location is nothing like it used to be. I took my three kids there over the weekend to celebrate their birthdays, and used my debit card to load the game cards. We played for a little while and came across multiple games that were plugged up but not working. Or course a child will swipe until someone stops them? But later we went back and used cash to reload. The machine took my money with ease and did not transfer over to the card to be used. The clerk kept telling me that some guy she was te

Our family called ahead to see how long the wait would be for a lane to bowl. We were told 30 minutes and that we could not reserve over the phone. We arrived about 30 minutes later to be told that the wait was 2 hours. The management had 22 of the 32 lanes closed as they cleaned and oiled the lanes. Of the 10 remaining, 6 were being used by 3 league bowlers practicing. Terrible customer service.

I was very pleased with the social distancing and sanitizing I witnessed! As soon as a group got up from their lane, staff members came and immediately began cleaning each ball, particularly inside the holes which was my worry, as well as the tables, chairs, and screens. Staff is wearing masks, and it was not crowded at all around 6:30 on a Friday night. It was nice getting out of the house safely. Thank you to the staff here for working so diligently!

My experiences bowling here as a kid and now as an adult have been amazing. Would definitely recommend for pros and amatuers alike.

I've been going to this place recently and I can say most of my trips have been pleasant. Sometimes it can take a while for a lane to open so its a good idea to go with friend and play pool for a bit. Make sure to check regularly with the list though because your name could get taken off, that has happened to me.

Great fun! This place is super clean.

If my child didn't like going here, we wouldn't. The drink selections are way too limited and the games have become as corny as the prizes you van redeem tickets for. It needs some help, especially if you charging $55 for 2 games of bowling. Even though it was 3 of us, you almost feel forced to pay $100 for 2 hours instead.

I was attempting to reserve a time slot for my staff to come enjoy a night out after work this past Sunday and was told that reservations cannot be made and it's first come, first serve(No issue there). After getting some rates on a party special, my team and I drove to this location only to get there and realize the entire alley has been rented out and closed to the public, by a church. I guess since my staff wasn't large enough, our business wasn't taken Seriously. Our celebrations & events will be held e

Fairly clean and organized for a bowling alley. Food was great for the location. Only complaint was billiards was completely taken up by a tournament and, laser tag and mini golf was closed. Would have stayed long if pool was an option.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
