Customer Reviews

I only write reviews when I either have an exceptional experience or when I have a majorly disappointing experience. Both situations move me to the point I have to stop what I'm doing immediately and take time to express how I feel. In this case, I was majorly disappointed in the customer service at the food counter. I was looking forward to this place being my family go to spot and a potential meeting spot for friend outings. The arcade games were great, the bowling staff seemed cool, in fact the food staf

Great staff! AJ is so knowledgeable and sweet! He's also a 25 time (300) bowler and has the rings to prove it. He's a legend in the metro area! Philip is a beast at bowling and is super sweet! And last but not least, DeAnthony is a true chef!!!! The food is bomb! Highly recommend the Chicken quesadilla or the pizza! ??

I really enjoyed my evening here they have food & decent arcade too

I have bowled at the house for years. Been in multiple leagues and just open play..... I stopped bowling for a while... Didn't come to this fun bowl.. They upgraded it.. Looks amazing new tables and floors... AMANDA IS GREAT.. I came a few months back... Couldn't finish bowling because of closing and came back and Amanda remembered me... Loved it. Only thing I think can change is better food.

It was a cool environment we had fun food was good too

This is definitely a hidden jewel in Fayetteville, as it sits in a location that you can't see from the main road. The staff was friendly, the food was good and they had a lot of activities to offer besides bowling. I definitely suggest a date night or a family night at this fine establishment.

This was a very fun filled space, my group really enjoyed ourselves. The place was clean and the food was great . My only problem was that lane 21-22 kept on freezing up. Which made us aggravated but that's minor ... we would definitely visit back.

Me and my family have been to this bowling alley multiple times over the years, however recently the last few times we've been we've had issues with our bowling lane malfunctioning during the game. Which made it very inconvenient for us to have to keep asking the manager/ employee to fix the lane. On the other hand the food was ok, me and my family ordered pizza and chicken tenders last time we went. Overall this location could work on improving the tech used in their lanes

The place was pretty nice and clean for my first time coming i've been to the one in Marietta multiple times but never this one. So this was very nice.

Bowling, arcade and food. Great place for kids, date night or a party!

I always enjoy my time here. I love the customer service and the friendly atmosphere.

Wow!! What a fun fun bowling alley in Fayetteville Funbowl! this particular one & the reason why I say this one because they have another location somewhere else in the Atlanta area! This bowling alley is absolutely fantastic & has a lot to offer other than bowling for the entire family a full restaurant which means you can order pizza Burgers Etc or a full video game room for the children to enjoy while you bowl! & also has a bowling shop party rooms! Etc I can go on & on about what an excellent atmosphere

Nice bowling alley for the family & they offer 2 free games per day for school aged kids. (You have to register to participate & the coupons are emailed weekly.) Very friendly staff... will definitely be back! The bumpers & rail were great for our youngest.

Had a wonderful time sharing our MAD Cookies & Cupcakes with the leagues. The owners treated us like family. Thank you so much!! See you again soon!!

Great experience while there, it was the weekend and packed but the atmosphere was great and we still got to bowl and had a great time and snacks

I've been going to Fun Bowl for years. I never have any complaints. It's great for a date night or family night. The guys behind the counter are great! I love the cheesy tots and pizza!

Nice place. A bit pricey. Staff friendly

Great time. Food is made to order. Fresh and hot takes some time, but it's worth it. Wasn't too crowded when we came in.

Great experience. We hadn't bowl in a long time but we had a wonderful time celebrating a friend's birthday. The staff is outstanding and the place is clean and family friendly.

We all had a Fun time.

We had a good time. We went for my daughter-in-law's birthday.

Absolutely awesome!!! We celebrated the children returning to school and my son's birthday. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and the arcade was near enough for you to keep an eye on the kids while bowling. FUN BOWL helped make this day special for all of us. GREAT FAMILY TIME!! Wilhmenia

this place has gotten better upgrades n new prices

Great customer service there's a lot of action good time for everybody

This bowling alley was pretty great! Don't let the cold air fool you upon entering. The lanes are temp comfortable! ?? Didn't order food, had dinner before arriving. Family had a great time!

Me and my family had a great time bowling. We also enjoyed the vintage arcade games.

If you're coming here you'd better be ready to spend money. In thirty minutes, we spent fifty dollars on games. Between bowling and the games for family like ours, 2 children, 3 adults. Get ready to spend about two hundred plus dollars. Don't get me wrong. The place is really nice. It's just not doable maybe once every few months. I did go on the weekend.I have to check weekday prices.

It's not league friendly. Who can pre-bowl during the day on a weekday? Most people work during the hours offered to pre-bowl. Cut a full house league, 32 teams down to 20 to have open bowling.

Ohhhh the fun we had this evening at Fun Bowl. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was great. We all absolutely enjoyed ourselves. I recommend this bowling alley for group enjoyment as well as family outings. What a blast!

Nice place for family night, Arcade is large and updated so my son forgot about the bowling entirely. They have beer/wine only. Food is what you would expect so I recommend eating before

Went to the pro shop for bowling gear. They did a great job.

Like this place cleaner. Has a nice size arcade. For the real bowler they have an official Pro Shop willing to assist you in your bowling adventure. Have food and you can practice your game during the early part of the day.

Wonderful time and the staff was pleasant.

Laid back atmosphere. Very reasonable price. On Saturday afternoon the crowd was mostly older adults only a few teenagers. It's was very clean.

It was fun clean and the food is good??????

An ok place to bowl, have a beer and a burger then some space invaders

Had a pretty good ole time for my daughter birthday...

Great family place to have some fun

We ordered pizza and cheese sticks but neither was cooked all the way through even after being remade, overall the food was terrible. Bathrooms weren't clean at all, the toilets were dirty and clogged up all except one, and there was hair all over the sink area. Our lanes kept messing up and the Customer service sucks!!

Family oriented rated PG-13

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I called this establishment at 5pm and spoke with a gentleman who explained the prices and specials. He also explained that the cutoff time was 9:15pm as they close at 10pm. Upon arriving at 8:55pm. I approach the desk and asked about purchasing a game. The person at the desk was very rude, and stated I won't be opening any more lanes today. I go oh well I called and the person I spoke with said 9:15. He goes no its 9 and I have been here answering phones the last 2 to

Awesome experience me and the family went for my birthday hadn't been in a while updated very nice. Bowling was fun and lot of games for kids and adults. Definitely will be returning ????

Very clean and well kept. Food is basic and decent, there are adult beverages for sale, prices aren't bad. The lanes and tables are comfortable. Occasionally there is a problem with the lanes or the scoring system, but the staff gets u going again very quickly. I enjoy bringing my family here.

Met the rudest old man at the counter tonight. I asked for 3 games for 3 people and he said ok. He charged me $51.91. We played 2 games and then it shut off. Went back to him and he started arguing with me that I can't do math because I only paid for 2 games.???? Excuse me, how is this my fault? I asked you for 3 games. I hate nasty ignorant people, I'll never be back.

First visit, enjoyed venue up until checking out. I witnessed an employee around 22-25 yrs old whipping out his cell phone and asking my 16 yr old daughter for her phone number ! Not what I brought my children there for. Won't be returning.

Had a great time and the food was good. I suck at bowling but it's my favorite pastime!

Close to home. Great staff.

I went there for a family birthday celebration. I can't remember the name of the older gentleman who helped us, but he was awesome. He helped us to get the best deal for our large party and he was very friendly and down to earth. My family had a great time and it was a nice alternative to just going out to eat for birthday celebrations. However, I would caution against ordering the pizza as it was not good at all.

I took half of our summer camp kids and staff here for bowling and got a terrific deal! Food was good. The lanes were working perfectly and the entire building was spotless. Even the games were all working, which is rare! We will be back tomorrow with the other half and will definitely keep coming.

Clean and friendly staff. Food was hot, beer was cold, and the bowling lanes were well kept. What more can you ask for? other than a few STRIKES ??

I enjoyed the place it was really good but the employer Jake was the best personally he was really nice and helped me with everything HE DEFINITELY NEEDS A RAISE

Always a good time with the family here. They are affordable. They have daily specials and they offer a family fun pack, which includes shoes, 2 hours of bowling, and a 1 topping pizza. The atmosphere is very kid friendly!

Great atmosphere. Clean facilities, nice people.

Went for a kids birthday party (6yr old). There was a two hour wait for a lane on a Tuesday (?3:30pm). Be advised that there is a bowling league there. Half the lanes were empty for about an hour and a half of our wait time. Fortunately there's an arcade at the entrance of the bowling alley. The kids had fun because they are gamers and some of the machines gave them tickets to redeem prizes. It was cool that the tickets were loaded on the game card needed to play the games. The concession only serves beer a

So fun i rolled a strike

This place was great the kids had a ball literally. The food was ok wouldn't really get again. They had a small section for mommy juice. Customer service was good will definitely be back

This was a great place for family time. The atmosphere felt safe and fun. The only thing we did not care for was the food court. The one man there was slow and disrespectful. If you needed a cup you had to show ID. Food was nasty, stale and over cooked. But because the rest of the place was fun we didn't really care about the food.

Terrible experience lanes were slow and mine quit working completely. Tried to get a refund for the two games I didn't have time to bowl. And was denied a refund.. I feel like I was robbed. Don't bowl here if you are a serious bowler and want to have a good time.

We love it here! The family goes every Thursday! My Husband does the Bowling League here. It's been a great Summer experience, something safe for the kids to do, not to mention, keeps us all out of the Sun.

I had not been here in years, and usually when one visits a place from the teen year's it seems as if it has list something. Not the case here very clean and active with plenty of activities. Well done !!! I will drive from the long distance I live from it to bring my kids back to enjoy some time there!!!

Haven't been here in some time and don't think I'll be returning. The older man at the counter IS rude , very rude ! No manners or courtesy whatsoever. I see several black patrons leaving reviews thinking it's race related , I'm white and can assure you he was extremely rude to me. I asked for the bumpers to be put up for my girls who are new to bowling but young teens , was told he couldn't do that because of their age. I'm sorry , WHAT ?!? How can you tell me who can and can't use bumpers on a lane and ga

Favorite place to bowl. Clean and not hoodish. Has food, snacks, and arcade.

They wack I asked if they can put the bumpers up and the guy told me that they only put them up for 8 years and under I'm paying my money and you tell me that wack first & last time here

They're nice. However, my husband has to be on a mobility scooter and it wasn't easy for him to maneuver around on it in there. Also, they don't allow anyone under 8 to have bumpers on lanes.

I had a great opportunity to bowl at this facility on Saturday night. This is an awesome bowling center. The establishment was clean, the shot was wonderful.. they had great customer service they treated me like a king as a league bowler visiting their center. I am definitely looking forward to coming there to join a league in the fall.

Staff was great, super friendly and curteous. Way to many issues with computers, problems on lanes. Very slow ball return. We had fun despite the issues. But when you are paying by the hour, you don't want to waste time waiting.

A+Customer Service! Staff was very courteous and attentive. Our team had a wonderful time. Food was great and timely! Thanks for making our first experience enjoyable! We'll be back!

The place is very dated, most staff does not follow Covid regulations. None of the staff who made the food had on masks. The lanes were not separated and people were still put close together. I was there for almost 3 hours for a party and not once did I see the staff clean/ disinfect any of the tables, seats, or equipment. All the loner shoes are falling apart. The only good thing are the games and there were only 6/10 that worked.

It was very clean. The front counter person was very helpful in telling us about special deals they offer and kind when we needed shoe sizes switched out. Had a great time. We don't get out to bowl much.

It was and awesome and fun, It had arcade games, I usually play arcade games in there before, I like to play the Galaxy shooting arcade game and I get prizes for arcade game tickets and for how many tickets I earned, I went to Fun Bowl on my birthday last year and I got in 3rd place last year

Had a great time bowling with a large group. The staff was very accommodating and although they were a little short staffed in the kitchen (which they advised us about) they got our food out in good time. I do recommend.

Very Clean establishment was there just to check it out for my son to bowl and.even a party. Spoke to the in charge person and he was super helpful and very informative. I will update message in 3 weeks when we come back

Kids had an amazing time! Would of gave it 5 star if they weren't remodeling the game room! But they were extremely nice and more than made up for the loss of the game room. We will be back!

For a quick fun time /place this is it! Gather with 9 family/friends & enjoyed Fun Bowl...,prices much better then other contenders!

We had the opportunity to go to both fun bowls in our area and we had a horrible experience at this one. The service staff was rude, and implied that we were drinking illegally and pretending to be high school students. Which was upsetting because when we got our drinks we asked them if they wanted to see our id's and they didnt bother to then turn around and say we shouldn't be drinking. Me and my date both look young but we didnt deserve that treatment. The lanes are a bit older so they get stuck often a

Not too busy, friendly staff. Worth the travel. Didn't know this place was there, but definitely will want to visit again. Maybe it'll be during the time they finish renovations.

Walked into a giant arcade before you get to the desk. Food order from kiosk was not ready before we were ready to leave . Lanes were clean. Sitting areas were ok.

Customer service is horrible. It's a Friday night the reason why you don't have to wait because there's no one here. You spend $100 for 2 hours to play and it is not child-friendly here. The pizza is not worth paying $20 for This is my first and very last time ever coming to this location. The Pins and strikes off Mount Zion was awesome customer service if I was you I would spend my money there

I came inside at 9:20pm, they closed at 10pm and nobody was at the front desk except the police officer, he told me to ask a young man sitting with his friends for instructions. I just wanted to bowl for 20mins but I just got in the car and left. A little upset I drove up there.

This place has been great for decades! I'm a little upset they took away the billiards tables. But it's still lots of fun. Great for the whole family or just a date day/night. Great specials on Monday.

Maybe it's more tame during the day but weekend nights can get crowded and slightly distracting. Finding a bowling ball that fits your hand can be scarce when they are busy. I find myself walking up and down looking for empty lanes that have bowling balls. Food is pretty decent (pizza, tenders, burgers, fries, beer, etc)

So disappointed this is the second time that I've come to this establishment and been told that they're aren't any lanes! This time I even called before coming and by the time I got here was told that the wait which was 20 mins when I called was now a hour and because it was before closing that we couldn't get out on the waiting list. There has to be a better system that doesn't waste the time of patrons driving all the way up here after being told on the phone one thing and basically being refused service

Well lit and safe. Prices are bit high for the bowling but snacks are way high. I think they have a lot of 'specials' and promos to reduce the price of the bowling but that doesn't help with price of snacks or if you just 'stop by' to try something different. My friends and I had a good time there just a bit pricey.

Daughter and friends love it

I guess everyone was coming to bowl this Labor Day! We had a blast though the balls continued to get stuck! Still had fun! The elder guy was running the counter and needed help as lines stayed backed up. Will visit again!

They have done so many upgrades. Lanes are in great shape. They have new games for the kids to play. All they need now is more choices on the food. The staff is great. Always a great time had when bowling here.

Can't say much for the road, parking and outside building but don't judge a book by its cover. The interior is very nice. It's clean and well maintained. I would be a frequent customer if I were big into bowling.

I believe that customer service make an establishment, this bowling center definitely needs to work on their customer service the man at the counter was rude and I truly felt that my race played a huge part of the attitude of the old man at the counter. Today is a world of diversity and none should feel like they are not important because of the color of their skin.I will be contacting management to see how they will handlr this concern

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
