Fun and Games

Reviews Summary

Fun & Games Arcade is highly praised for its clean, well-maintained environment, nostalgic yet modern arcade experience, and excellent value for money. Reviewers highlight its superiority over chain competitors like Chuck E. Cheese, with reasonable prices, generous ticket rewards, and fun laser tag. Staff are consistently described as friendly, helpful, and accommodating, especially for birthday parties. While some note limited game selection for teens and occasional issues like poor air circulation or lack of baby-changing stations, the overall consensus is overwhelmingly positive, making it a top choice for family outings and celebrations.

I cannot speak highly enough about this location. You walk in and. You are transformed to the 1990s. Everyone was so nice and helpful. They were able to answer all of my questions. They have two family bathrooms, large, clean. The location isn't massive, it's a decent size and they did a good job separating some of the ?younger? games in one room and the more advanced mature games in another. The prices of the games were very reasonable, you could easily entertain and feed kids for a reasonable amount. The

When you step in here, it essentially looks the exact same as it did 30 years ago, minus the fact that there are a bunch of different and upgraded games. They're actually celebrating their 50th year, which is pretty wild. I love that my kid can play here for hours, that you can have a beer or two if you're feeling up to it, and that for a space like this, the pizza isn't the absolute worst; certainly not the best, but definitely not anywhere close to the worst. The staff are nice and accommodating. Sometim

Brought a few adults here to hang on my partners 30th birthday and wow this place was so much fun. Good selection of arcade stuff, just enough room to not feel crowded. Loud but not to the point you can't hear. And the vibe was immaculate. Wings were delish and the fries deserve a big shout out! It was also very clean for how busy it was. We accidentally stumbled across a super cool trading card store around the corner and got to pick up some Magic cards too!!! Had such a great night. HUGE shoutout to the

Where has this place been all this time??? WAAAYYY better than Dave and Busters. Games actually work and are well maintained. $20 gets you a good 30 min or more of game play instead of 3 min at D&B. Very fun laser tag game. I didn't try the food but looks like a great menu so will plan for that next time.

This was a fun place! It had a better selection of games than Apex Center. You pay for points not a timed arcade card though. We still had fun and got a lot of prizes. Laser tag was fun, but the room was a bit small.

I just hosted my daughter's 7th birthday here. I had never been before but my husband grew up in Framingham so he grew up going. I was very impressed. Everything was clean and looked great. The party room (we were in the green room) was all clean and ready for us when we arrived. Our amazing party host, Will, was amazing from start to finish. He was high energy, great with the kids, anticipated our needs beautifully, and so attentive. He made the party absolutely seamless! The kids did go through they game

This establishment is a compact, family-friendly arcade suitable for children aged 5 to 12. The limited game selection may prove uninteresting for teenagers. Food and beverages are available, and tickets are distributed digitally. Party hosting and laser tag are also offered. The venue's size allows for comfortable parental supervision, enabling adults to relax while children play. The staff are known for their safety-conscious and welcoming demeanor.

Great place to bring your kids. Super packed but there's lots for the little ones to run around and do, including laser tag. We had a bday party there and the young gentleman who was hosting our party was wonderful , informative and helpful. My absolute ONLY complaint is that there needs to be some sort of air circulation in the building. There was no air conditioning running through the building and with so many people in one place , it was super uncomfortable with no cool air Everything aside from that wa

We usually have a good experience here, but at our most recent visit nearly half of all the games there were out of order or turned off. It was especially disappointing because most of the things that we wanted to play were in that category

Brought my son here today. We both had an awesome time. This place has so many fun games. My son wanted to play Lazer tag, and I couldn't due to back problems, so one of the EMPLOYEES played Lazer tag with him!! They went above and beyond! We'll definitely be back soon!!

Awesome place to get away from the crazy day. Fun to play the games and just have fun watching others. I remember coming here in the 90s, has fewer games but still worth coming back to.

Great atmosphere & staff. Food is made when ordered & is SO GOOD NOT expensive at all!! Kids of all ages welcomed!!

The place is nice. However, there is no baby changing station. ??. No it's not. I checked each bathroom and the receptionist confirmed that doesn't have changing station!

It is the best place for children's birthday party. I had my brother's birthday and he loved it, all the children had a great time, the person who attended us was super kind, and the food was great. I highly recommend it

My kids love this place! This is the best cared for arcade around. The machines are good for a variety of ages and they are always working! The pizza is delicious, too.

Great place for kid's birthday party.Have all the arcade games you could want. Each kid gets own "credit card" to use.Can be set up with tables for party. Can also play laser tag.Easily located on Rte.9.

I can't say enough about how incredible the staff at Fun and Games is. They went above and beyond to make my daughter's birthday experience amazing. All of our group has a great time and was well tended to by both Michael and Anthony. We are thankful for all they did and will highly recommend them to everyone we know!!! Another thanks to Mark who went out of his way to ensure our group has a successful transition with the new (AWESOME) card system. Your customer service is top notch. Thanks to you all!

Recently stopped by to check this place out. The way they've got things set up is amazing. It's by far the cleanest, best kept arcade / entertainment joint I've seen. Tons of arcade style games of all kinds, laser tag, truly excellent pizza (home made on site), and plenty of drinks available. Staff was excellent and accommodating. The owner is so nice and went above and beyond for my small group. You simply won't find a better arcade style entertainment facility anywhere. It's no wonder why they've b

Great selection of old and new style video and carnival games, clean, well maintained, friendly staff, and best value when it comes to how much money you have to spend to win tickets.

Love the place, games and prices but my experience with the kid employee girls was not ok. They were cleaning the floors, etc. As we just arrived at 9:15 pm even though they close at 10pm. 1 of them wouldn't let us play a game so she could clean it first and the other wouldn't let us go on the other side of the arcade entirely for the whole time because she wet the floors already and without a safety wet floor sign. She kept staring at us and we felt very unwelcomed this time. I really wanted to just enjoy

Overall, I'd give it 4 stars. The selection of games was great, it was clean, and the staff were really kind. My only complaint, is it's not sensory friendly?.loud music playing, low lighting, lots of flashing lights. I'd go back in a flash and give this place 5 stars if they would offer sensory friendly times when the lights are up, no flashing lights, and no music blaring.

The manager (sorry, forgot her name!) is awesome and very accommodating for large parties. Very clean establishment, they had great food, and great prices for food and arcade/laser tag. Laser tag was also so much fun with a cool arena! Highly recommend. Less kids towards the later hours on the weekends which is nice as well.

I had the opportunity to visit "Fun and Games", and it was an experience that stood out for several reasons. This arcade, while on the smaller side, has a distinct cool aesthetic and vibe that makes it instantly inviting. One of the unique aspects of "Fun and Games" is its kid-focused environment. Despite this family-friendly atmosphere, they interestingly serve alcohol to adult patrons. This blend offers a relaxed experience for parents or adults who want to enjoy a drink while the kids are engaged in gam

This place is well run and delivers a well thought out arcade experience for our kids and nostalgic decor and throwbacks for parents

A great place for children 5-12 yrs. It is our first time, and kids have a lot of fun. The price there is good too.

Took my son today and noticed $20 goes very far playing many games compared to arcades where we live. I use to go Fun and Games in the 1980s as a kid, same spot but its brighter inside now from all the games! Thank you to the owner for allowing me to take my child where I use to hang in the 1980s its really great you're still in business this long!!!

We like coming here with our kids, both under ten. There's enough to do without getting overwhelmed and even ten dollars on the game card can last 60-90 minutes at their prices. And the rewards system is generous: they even have small prizes costing only one ticket so you don't have to pay/play a lot to get a little something on the way out!

Excellent staff, great spot for some arcade games and lazer tag. We attended a birthday party and the space was clean, large, and managed well. Super fun!

Great for the younger set. Not expensive like Dave n Buster s

Small enough so you won't lose your child lol. Not too expensive compared to other places. Food is great also. However, the points earned on a game card are very little, winning good prizes is gonna cost you!

We just had our holiday party for our small business here and it was super fun! We had our own party space, good food, access to the bar, and everyone got to play lots of games and laser tag. It was perfect for our staff and their families who have kids of all ages. Meagan hosted our party and was great and made sure we had everything we needed. We'd do this again!

Fun and Games Arcade: A Nostalgic Blast with Modern Twists If you're looking for a trip down memory lane with a dash of modern excitement, Fun and Games Arcade is the perfect spot. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the classic sounds of pinball machines and arcade cabinets, which blend seamlessly with the latest in gaming technology. Atmosphere: The arcade strikes the perfect balance between retro charm and contemporary flair. Neon lights, colorful murals, and a variety of game machines creat

Fun & Games is a popular destination for kids' parties. Not huge, but a good selection of games, even a Galaga & Ms. Pac-Man. If you look carefully, you can find a few prize options to spend your tickets on that aren't only sugar & food coloring or plastic junk. This spot is also good for cold or rainy days. The kids always ask to come back.

I love this place! Having a birthday party there is so easy, the staff is always nice, professional, and knowledgeable, and I love the atmosphere. I usually hate arcade type places but this one doesn't stress me out! Thanks!

When it comes to arcades?. This is the best by far. The cash to point value is unmatched. The staff is kind and helpful and seem like a family (maybe they are?). The games all work and there's great games for kids and adults alike. The food they have in there is really REALLY good, especially the pizza. I used to go to this arcade 30+ years ago and now I go with my 5 yr old kid. It's one the few places that has maintained its integrity and vibe for decades.

The staff was friendly. Food was good, games were good too! The laser tag was fun (it was my first time)! There were people from all ages (kids, teenagers, parents, at least one old guy) having fun.

Great local business. Give your kid $10 on a card and have a beer. Unlike most arcades, it doesn't take a billion tickets to get a decent prize. Also a great first job for teens.

Great arcade, especially if you are on a budget. It is legitimately the only arcade I've ever been to where you can play for an hour with just 5 bucks! Plus they have laser tag! Would recommend for anyone looking for a great way to kill an afternoon/evening.

Great place. The kids had a great time

Really cool alien themed black light art everywhere, a relatively small but very solid selection of classic and modern arcade games. They also have laser tag, which we didn't do, but it was fun to wander through the ?arena? and check out all the artwork. Everything was very clean and well maintained, all the machines seemed to be working. Compared to Chuck E. Cheese or Dave and Buster?s this place is way nicer, cheaper, cleaner, and with loads more character. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was pret

Nice place for a local kids activity. Not too expensive. For $40 my son and I played video games for over an hour and got a ton of tickets for candy (fun ride home lol). Did eat or play laser tag but both looked good.

The kids love it. I enjoyed all their fun.

A clean fun and great updated version of the arcades you grew up with!

This place is awesome. We had our kids? birthday party here and it was very well organized and fun. The kids all had a blast. Meghan, who was our party helper, was amazing?she thought of everything and was great with kids. The pizza was delicious.

My fianc? brought me and my dad here for the first time, and we enjoyed our experience. Games are between 5, 10, and 15 points(per game).Highly suggest the $25 for 500 points. That's way cheaper than Chuck E. Cheese! There's also a good prize selection, too. Many to choose from!

Extremely friendly and patient staff who are so kind especially at the ticket redemption counter where they are very helpful in giving kids assistance in finding something that fits in their budget. Fantastic service for a kid's birthday party. Extremely helpful, professional, and organized. Super happy with the experience. Very clean and well kept location.

Bought my daughter her a few times over the years. It's a quick local fun place for kids. It's like a much smaller Chuckie Cheese with laser tag. I wouldn't recommend birthday package though it's way over priced for the experience.

The place is fun. We took our kids there for a cousin's birthday party. The arcade was fun all be it a little small. We had to wait for games to open up a few times. The ticket based prizes were pretty good. Laser tag was a blast. It was the highlight of the party. Everyone had fun playing laser tag. That included the little kids and the adults.

Love this place! Fun and has all my kids love! Games are great and staff is really friendly!

Fun place for kids and parents. ..second time there we loved it! Staff was great!!

In between a Dave and Buster's and a Chuck Cheese. The ideal age would be between 8-14. The arcade games are kinda old but they are fairly well maintained. The game selection is limited but sufficient for a couple hours of fun. Overall, a good experience. Parking is ample.

Fun! Old school arcade atmosphere, not over priced. The kids can have fun doing a number of different things. There is a 10min laser tag game that is 4$ a person and also quite fun for a quick outing. There are both food and beverages offered.

This place is great. The games all work and it is well staffed with helpful people. Prices are great -- $20 is enough for my son to play nonstop for hours, and he'll get enough tickets to buy the equivalent of $15 of toys when he's done. So much better than the garbage arcades at the mall.

Staff is always friendly to my kids and myself. They are super patient at the ticket checkout counter. Laser tag is always a win with everyone. Floors are a little dusty but still a better option than other arcades nearby.

I've been going to this place since I was a little boy and love the fact that I can bring my kids there today. I find it to be a much better option that the place with the giant mouse. My son had his Birthday here last August and wants to don't again next summer. Staff is friendly, polite, and accommodating.

Had my son's b-day party here. It's a good place to dump out money and let the kids play. Alcohol is available for lubing up the wallet and pouring it out on pinball.

High-five to the staff at Fun and Games. They made it so easy to have a birthday party there. I signed up online - lots of good info there explaining the various options and real-time schedule. Then I got a call a few days before the party from a staff member confirming and asking if I had any questions - which he knew all the answers to! (Amazing these days!) Then when we arrived they explained the schedule, had some flexibility when one child was late for laser tag, took care of absolutely EVERYTHING.

I'm 18 and I still love coming here! Great games, great prizes, and it's not as loud or overwhelming as Dave and Buster's.

Love the place! Great for Birthday parties and easy to setup and with them doing clean up it's great! Games are reasonably priced and if you know which to play you can get a good amount of tickets.

I've been going here for years, currently I'm 25 years old, I've seen the upgrades/improvements they've done throughout the years and they're doing great and continue to do so. It's one of my favorite arcades and it's significantly more adorable compared to the chain arcades and this arcade has games that you won't find at the chain arcades and for winning prizes it's easier than the chain arcades so all around Fun and Games has its ups compared to other arcades. I strongly recommend it

Waste of time and money. This is the place I really do not like to take my child at all. We were there for a birthday party and it was good to go there and see what is happening in this Casino for kids. But no more for is. I would rather teach my child some real virtues rather than let her exercise how to shoot others or earn fake tickets and collect fake bonuses.

The place is a lot better than it was a few years ago. I feel like it's close to the way it was originally: there is a good mix of old and new arcade games, ticket redemption type games, air hockey, etc. Perfect even mixture. The most noteworthy feature in my opinion is they installed brand-new Skee-Ball machines and got rid of Ice Ball. Finally, real Skee-Ball! (They still have 2 Ice Ball machines as well). The place has a classic arcade atmosphere and everyone who works there is super friendly. It caters

We held a birthday party there and the staff couldn't have been better and everything went so smoothly. The younger and older kids had so much fun!

I recently revisited Fun and Games for the first time in a very long time, as I had not been here since I was a teenager! The location was in the same building but in a different part of the building. And the inside had a whole new look and feel. like a lot of video game places they seem to aim people towards games that you would either win or not win tickets to turn in for prizes. Of course you can spend $40 hours to win enough tickets to get something that you could get at the dollar store. That's not the

Just had our second birthday party at Fun & Ganes. I strongly prefer it over the few other non-chain companies in the area and its' MUCH better than a Chuck-E-Cheese party. The video games are in very good repair and it's clear they are being well maintained, the place is well let (if a bit hot at times), and the laser tag is very fun both for kids and adults. The prices for parties are quite reasonable, they go out of their way to explain how much everything costs when you pay up at the end and dont gou

So much fun for young and older kids! Great for birthday parties!

I read the previous reviews and I was afraid to celebrate my son birthday there. The staffs were so friendly clean nice with 16 kids. They gave us good services and with good price. I highly recommend it

Cool arcade that has that old school vibe complete with tokens, tickets, and a dark atmosphere. Place has a party room for events and laser tag. The redemption prizes are reasonable and the games dont cost alot to play.

Great place for kids and their parents as well as birthday parties

Fun little game place. Kids had a blast and won some random arcade candy with their tickets

Great retro arcade, games are pretty well maintained and there's laser tag. Good craft beer selections and the pizza was pretty good

We enjoyed a lot. My kids likes this place.

Great arcade, and far less overwhelming than some of the larger chains. The pizza was good, and they also had very affordable beer.

Great place for a rainy day. Geared more for younger kids. They also have a few games for adults, pinball old style arcade games. The place was clean and the staff very friendly.

Last time I'll order from here. I've ordered food here a few times and disappointed each time. They over cook the chicken fingers so they are burned, chewy and impossible to eat. The potatoes skins are cold, dry, and bacon bits are too hard to chew. Will not be ordering here again ??

Amazing birthday party location for adults and children alike. We've had 4 birthday parties, bc if it works, why not!? They're super helpful and attentive. Great time overall!!

We hosted our daughter's birthday party here. The staff was so helpful and kind to the kids. It was such a wonderful and fun experience for us all.

Awesome place for kids!! Been there for a birthday party and kids loved it.. Interesting part is you can get your outside food for party

SO much fun I had with my family and the price is just about right ! They also have some pizza and drinks to buy. We had a blast with the laser tag.

Great place to spend some time with my kids, 8 and 6 years old. All the games kick out tickets and they had more fun redeeming them for the prizes!

One of the best arcades as far as value for money. Great prizes too! We had a great time. Ty

My daughter had a wonderful 12th birthday party over the weekend!! Thank you for your great customer service and care. Food was amazing as well.

My daughter loves this place and even with most of the staff being young, they are kind and super respectful... Friday nights hangout spot. You can also grab a spirit while you play.??

The games were fun. The toys look cool but their cheap plastic. Once I got a basketball hoop and played for it for 5 minutes it broke. Also, their toys are overpriced.

Lost ticket stub. Saw us play wouldn't give us the tickets. Had multiple games take tokens told us it was all set walked away wasn't fixed. Wasted more money with lost tokens trying to play games that don't give out tokens. Won't come back.

Amazing place for kids and adults, pizza is great and they have beer! Amazing for kids birthdays too

I bring my kid here, Some jackpots don't pay out when hit. I still come back. its cheap enough

Surprisingly modern for an arcade, prices for the games were good, value wise. Games felt up to date and the ticket prizes were desirable.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
