Today was my first time visiting this ice cream shop, and I tried a flavor I'd never had before?Thai tea. The flavor was so creamy, not too sweet, and the waffle cone was fresh and perfectly crispy. When I got to that drop of chocolate at the bottom, it was such a nice surprise! This is a unique little local shop, and I was pleasantly surprised to see they have arcade games and even beer. Next time, I'll definitely stay a bit longer!
Extremely delicious ice cream. And it is always worth the trip. (But I'd not feel terribly comfortable taking my girlfriend there after dark.) Be sure to try the vanilla -- one of the best around.
An absolute staple imo, here in Seattle. With homemade style ice cream, and an arcade!!! Can't get much more wholesome fun then this spot!!! 10 out of 10!!! Plus, as a Michigander transplant, they have a flavor called Blue Moon, that tastes just like SUPERMAN ice cream!!!!!
"Wonderful local ice cream shop with arcade games..." Pros: Delicious ice cream with interesting flavors, vegan options (also uses coconut milk for those who are lactose intolerant), old-school arcade games and pinball, fun and relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff. Cons: Ice cream prices can be a little more expensive (depending on what you choose), Maybe a bit difficult to try and locate. Bottom Line: A fun and relaxing place for the entire family. The ice cream is fresh and good quality, with interestin
This place is great. Excellent flavors both classic and vegan. When I went there today, I ordered 3 milkshakes. I knew it would take the one woman workinga little while to maker them, so I let a couple of people play through. She started making them, and sure enough the line started backing up. But she didn't falter, sage kept to task and made three perfect milkshakes, two huckleberry and one Thai iced tea. Delicious.
It has been almost 10 years since I last enjoyed Full Tilt and man it didn't disappoint!!!! All their ice cream are amazing but Ube is my got to!!!! Oh and gots to get it in a waffle cone!!!!!!
Pure class! Only weakness is no beers on tap. Major strength is that on weekdays they open 2 hours before the delicious Flying Lion opens next door - allowing the opportunity to enjoy a can of Guinness and a pint of Grunge Flavor while I decompress from work ...
This little ice cream shop right on Rainier Ave in Columbia City is one of the best I've been to! Their ice cream is very sillky and creamy, overall delicious! Parking in the strip mall lot can be a challenge during peak hours or hot days. The lot condition itself could also be better. The classic arcade games inside are also a great smack of nostalgia for us slightly older folks. There's Pac-Man, Raiden, Gauntlet Legends, MvC, and a couple pinball machines. Come here!
Finally made it to Full Tilt Ice Cream in Columbia City. We decided to stop by on a rainy/cold day before heading to Seattle Gymnastics Academy and really enjoyed it! They have some very unique flavors. The ice cream selection included some original and different flavors alongside some classics as well. The guy working was super nice and I really (really, really) appreciated that they use real spoons!!!!! They offer free samples so you can try them out. The price is very reasonable for the generous servin
Great place for arcade games. Ice cream is good and the waffle cones are delicious
Came here with my husband, SIL and nephew and had a blast! Yummy ice cream with a wide variety of flavors, and pinball and other arcade games for everyone to enjoy. The ube ice cream was splendid!
Goat cheese and fig ice cream?? Yes. Cute place, great flavors, massive line up of vintage video games.
Absolutely love this place! Quality ice cream in a fun location! This is a Columbia City gem for kids and adults alike!
Old school ice-cream parlor with 5 pinball machines and some sweet vintage arcade cabinets. Excellent spot for kids Birthday parties (bring quarters!) or an afternoon sweet treat. Flying Lion Brewery is next door, so if your kids are at a party, head over there for a pint!
This place is a community staple in Columbia City! If you find yourself in the area and have never been to Full Tilt, it is an absolute must go place. The ice cream is phenomenal, the staff are always friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere of the place is great. They have a bunch of pinball machines and other games in the back, so it doubles as an arcade! Definitely a local business that is always worth supporting!
Best place for ice cream :) very cool vibes and great service ?? love the vegan options
Hi, I am Isabel, I am 8 years old. I love their ice cream! I also love that they change the flavors! I also like that they have an arcade!!!! I wonder how they got the arcade?
The ice cream is a little pricey, but it's really good! As far as I know, this is the only place in Seattle that serves ice cream with an arcade in the shop! It can get kind of packed depending on what time you go, but it's definitely worth the visit. My friend described some of the flavors as ?little kid flavors? because some are so incredibly sweet, but I think they're all really good. Also, they have a huge selection of sodas you can pick from if you decide to get an ice cream float. Lastly, the service
Think I got the diabetes off this place, but it's all good, especially with the Thai Tea icecream. DONT SLEEP ON THE THAI TEA ICECREAM. It may seem stinking, but it's better than what NPCs buy. IE strawberry and bluemoon
Cool idea. Video games and ice cream. The variety of ice cream isn't very long. However, a pro is the options for vegan ice cream, however the is not my scene (don't like coconut milk unfortunately). Can't eat on the place at this time, so it all was a gloomy space right now. As for the ice cream, I am a HUGE fan and loved of ice cream. The choices were ok, nothing crazy or original. The taste was pretty bland and again nothing original, however the texture was very creamy. Glad we went to check it out, but
There are some awesome pinball machines and games. They sell amazing ice cream and a variety of began ice scream. It is like an Ole ma and pop shop because they also sell comic books and their own ice creams.
I never leave reviews. Ice cream was better than salt and straw, my goto, which is saying a lot. And guy saw I was sad they were out of waffle cones (almost closing time after all), so he tells me ice cream is on the house and will have a waffle cone for me next time. Love it.
This is a bit of nostalgia in Columbia city. This is just a hole-in-the-wall little shop with a distinct personality all its own. You are greeted with a line (typically) for some VERY unique flavors of ice cream (non-dairy, coconut milk chocolate). The staff (who must be the owners) are hyper friendly...but very sincere! When we were there they were out of cones, making them on on-the fly. The unique thing about this place is that while enjoying your ice cream you can play classic video games or pinball. V
Rent the arcade for up to 6 people in your quarantine pod, or come grab some inspired flavors of ice cream to go!
Great way to enjoy some quick ice cream. I don't find their ice cream to be the best, as too sweet and too artificial tasting. Brought me back to my childhood tho.
Homemade, small batch, ice creams & vegan ice cream? YES PLEASE! Full tilt was doing unique ice cream flavors years before the competition. This place is unmatched for taste, quality and value. They helped make me the rotund man I am today. The parking lot is free so expect it to get busy on the weekend.
The "Blue Moon" ice cream is a bit more denim in color than it should be for true "Blue Moon", but that doesn't effect the flavor, and I'm not complaining! I'm just happy to find this great and rare flavor outside of Michigan! Update 7/16/2023: Went to Full Tilt on our way through Seattle today and the "Blue Moon" was the correct "Smurf blue" color. My husband had the "Ube" and I had the "Blue Moon". Both of our ice creams had great flavor, but there were "waxy" chunks in both. They left your mouth with a
Ice cream selection, atmosphere, and service are second to none. Definitely a great place to hang out or end the night (dessert!!). In my humble opinion, I believe the ice cream is just a notch above Molly Moons. You will have to try it yourself and be the judge.
I love this place. Some days my boyfriend and I come here to load up on sugar and play arcade games. Deliciously unique ice cream flavors and awesome games. Full Tilt is a great place to hang out and enjoy great beer/ice cream/milkshakes/fermented sodas!
What a gem of Columbia Valley. An old rundown strip mall location just off the main strip this place offers a unique and interesting experience no matter your age. As long as you like ice cream, or beer, comic books, or video games and pinball you're gonna be all right. It's usually not packed but this visit it was totally full. I'm excited to go back a time when I can enjoy the selection and play some pinball while enjoying heavenly ice cream. Pro Tip: When it's slammed skip the line and just get a pi
First off, the smell when you enter the store, it's just horrible, it's like someone burnt something, but not a good thing, not sure I can describe it. Also, they accept cash, who accept cash these days? I mean, cash is dirty, full of bacteria, and they touch it and then touch the icecream!
So glad this Columbia City institution has been able to ride out COVID. We had not been able to visit for such a long time, it had been a regular stop. They had a great selection, including tasty vegan choice's, eagerly honored a request for customized hot fudge sundae. They always have a great staff.i do miss the hustle of the families, kids having birthday parties, abd the vintage comic book rack has disappeared. But it was good to be back and see those Yellow Submarine murals, abd hear the flipping of pi
I tried to visit this location after going on a wild goose chase to visit the closed Ballard location. The arcade games were unavailable due to a private party. Seems like they could post their availability to their website or social media, but they can't be bothered to do that. Who knows what else they can't be bothered to do.
Really great icrecream and arcade spot. Love that they offer vegan flavors, as well, for those of us who can't enjoy dairy. My only critiques are that the location is a little out of the way and the space is dark.
Friendly staff and arcade machines. Also the ice cream is pretty good and you can try whatever flavors are available. Cheaper then Molly Moon's. They have pints as well and I believe they're part of Uber Eats. They have some vegan options as well.
My family loves this place! It's our special treat on any given day of the week when we need an ice cream fix. Full of character and unique flavors that rotate through as time goes on to keep you coming back for more!!
The ice cream is amazing. Personal favorites being ube, thai tea, Mexican chocolate and a coffee chocolate combo. Get it on a waffle cone. There's a treat at the bottom. I didn't play arcade games growing up but in my amateur opinion they've got something for everyone at a quarter a pop.
We got there around 8:40pm on a Tuesday night and there was a huge line. None of our group had been there before and were very excited that the ice cream was going to be amazing based on how busy they were... Once we ordered and got our ice cream, we were not blown away like we had hoped... It was good, but not great. Everyone in the group agreed that it just good. Not great. On top of that, ine of my friends played one of the arcade games- he was flying a plane shooting stuff and he said the controller
I just wish they had more of the flavors restocked. They change out ice creams a lot. Its very exciting to go back :) new flavors and combinations and they arcade is pretty sweet. Friendly environment. I would recommend this place
The ice cream was fantastic!! On a hot day it was a great snack. The establishment is a little shabby but service was prompt and polite.
Amazing ice cream shop! Love the flavors and that they rotate the flavors. The pinball machine is an added bonus as well.definitely one of our favorite places.
Great spot for kids parties! Really good ice cream too, salted caramel was perfectly (not too) salty (imo Molly Moon's is way too salty)
Love this place. We often drop in after dinner in Columbia City then walk home in the fading twilight eating ice cream and just enjoying the neighborhood. My favorite is Blue Moon which tastes like fruity pebbles
The coolest local ice cream place EVAR! Delicious, unusual flavors--my fave is Mexican chocolate. Spicy! 80's video game machines, pinball machines, and occasionally group (OF NERDS! JK) playing Dungeons & Dragons at the center table. Wall painting of the flying blue hand from the Beatles movie "Yellow Submarine". Eclectic! (You kids these days probably didn't even know that. Get off my lawn!) Support your local businesses, go there.
Great place for kids and adults, they have old school pinball and arcade machines. The ice cream is pretty good they have a bunch of unheard-of flavors. Give them a try.
Great spot for kids and adults! We attended a birthday party here and had a blast. The ice cream is great and they offer dairy and gluten free options.
You COULD go down to the newly opened Molly Moon, if you have a hankering for snooty too lame flavors. If you want delicious real ice cream this is the place to go. The salted caramel is absolutely outstanding. The only gripe I have is that the ube doesn't taste like the ube I k ow and love. Their ube is pretty much just coconut. All the other flavors are fantastic
Super delicious ice cream, tastes so fresh. Nice place to hang out inside. Friendly staff, definitely recommend those looking for something sweet and creamy ??
Great ice cream around. Great flavor, lits if vegan options. Fun atmosphere. Lots better quality, flavor & pricing than Molly Moon.
Amazing ice cream, great rotating beer selection, and pinball. what more do you need? There's not many places both my kids and my friends both want to go.
Do not go here if you have allergies. The staff does not know what the ingredients are, does not know how to find out what the ingredients are, does not know how to prevent cross contamination, and is very rude if you ask questions regarding allergies. Do not go if you have allergies. The staff is rude.
One of the smaller Full Tilt locations in the area, but that shouldn't be a reason to stay away. A great selection of classic video games, pinball machines, and of course some of the best ice cream in Seattle.
Good not great ice cream. Tastes homemade. It's not very decadent--definitely a milkyer and more sugary ice cream. Still pretty yummy, we'll come here again probably.
While they practically never have my favorite flavor ready to scoop there is always something delicious available and I can just take home a pint of their amazing Mexican chocolate icecream ??
I love the atmosphere, I love the location. I love the flavors. But PLEASE fix the UBE ice cream. It's too mello, you need to jam pack it with UBE. Taste like a purple Vanilla Ice Cream.
I was there for my nephew's birthday party. They were very accommodating, but I'm not sure they were adequately prepared for a party of our size. Even so, they were very polite, and took care of a lot of the small details.
Ube and strawberry are my favorite flavors. This place is an institution in the neighborhood. The service is always very friendly and there's a great vibe to the place.
A hidden gem in Columbia City, the variety of flavors at Full Tilt are always so much fun, rich, and satisfying. Also love the video arcade of games in the back!
The best! Delicious and friendly. Charming and smells of waffle cones. Pin ball and comic books! Just say yes!
Interesting half arcade half ice cream stop. Service was great but selection was lacking. Ice cream wasn't as creamy as I expect for the price you pay.
Love it here! Bigger location than the one at U District. Fun arcade games, vegan options, and interesting new monthly flavors
This place has amazing ice cream, the people are friendly, and the comics are great. Can't wait for the arcade to open soon!!
Great ice cream. Always a nice collection of rotating flavors. Lots of arcade videogames and beer - something for everyone! :)
The owner is super nice, as well as the other employees that work there ! It has a homey feel. Fun place for the kids as well as the adults.
This is an interesting place. Average ice cream with gruff service. It could be better if they sluffed off some of the grunge vibe left over from the 90s.
Locally made yummy ice cream (vegan options available). Arcade video games & pinball makes it extra fun!
Best ice cream place in Seattle area. Great staff and great selection of flavors.
I love this ice cream shop. This local ice cream shop has cheap ice cream hut very high quality ingredients in the ice cream. I come here all the time :D
There's pinball in the back :) Great finisher to a dinner date night
Amazing ice cream for people with and without dairy intolerance. I also love the selection of nostalgic arcade machines to play from.
This is my favorite place in Columbia City! They have an awesome ice cream selection, arcade games, pinball, and host live music too!
Great ice cream, great place to take the family. Old school video games and a truly eclectic music mix, this place has it all!
Really great ice cream and retro arcade games.
Whoa, the ice cream is the best in town! Such good unique flavors, and many of them are vegan.
Vanilla bean all the way- but my sister recommends the coffee & cookie cream! I think that's the correct name for it lol
Me and my kiddos love this place. some of the best ice cream in seattle and the kids and I go crazy for the pinball and street fight machines.
Great ice cream, awesome tunes with a real old school stereo system, nice staff. Great pinball and video games too!
Ice cream is always amazing. People here are always so nice. My son loves coming here and playing all the games.
Good selection of ice cream and sweets. Sometimes too busy but that tells you how the business is doing!
This place is a neighborhood favorite that never disappoints. A changing variety friendly service if your in the south end skip the yuppie Molly Moons and head over to this gem!
Expensive but creative flavors. Kina dank and run down space. Classic '80s video games, classic pinball...lots of little girls with their hipster dads reliving their youth...
Yummy ice cream and old school video games. Flavors that you can't get everywhere. Mexican chocolate was the best.
Ice cream was fantastic and so much fun to play arcade games while enjoying the treats.
Nice enough people I guess but I got very sick from their ice cream.
Omg... the waffle cone was fresh and hot just as they say. I loved how creamy the ice cream is.. yum yun
Small but awesome! Play some arcade games, eat an ice cream cone...drink a beer! It has everything you ever wanted in a barcade.
Columbia City Full Tilt is NOT doing Ice Cream for Breakfast like they said in thier promotions. Major disappointment! I'm officially only for Molly Moon.
Delicious and unique flavors you can only find at a retro arcade and ice cream shop.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
