Stopped in on our way through town and was pleasantly surprised at the wide range of game loot, from dnd/warhammer stuff to full on cyber cafe style systems set up to play on. Definitely recommend if your in the area.
This place is so neat. They have all sorts of video games, you can just play them. And they have these mini old school arcade games. There is this game room in the back.
They are a local family owned shop that's specializes in dungeon and dragons as well as many other table top games. They always have many new and amazing products thru out the weeks. They are also one of the only places that sells the hard to find Gundam models.
Lovely place, willing to answer questions. Busy at times but I showed up during a day they were hosting a birthday, but even then they were willing to accommodate my group!
If I could give 10 stars I would! Frost Giant has become my second home. Great people awesome atmosphere. If you are looking for a place to hang out and play games. Whether it be table top RPGs, trading card games, video games, or board games, this place is for you. Owners are amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable in all aspects of what the sell. If they do not have it they can order it for you. If you're a dice goblin, say good by to your saving, they have an amazing selection! Thank you Frost Giant f
This is a special place and I cannot say too many good things. They have a great selection of products for all manner of TTRPGs and other hobbies, and if they don't have it, they can get it. The owners are amazing people and deeply knowledgeable and the games that are hosted here are absolutely top notch. I have been in many game and hobby stores across the country, and this is one of the best, no question. If you're in to table top gaming or need a great gaming lounge, look no further.
I would not recommend going here because all of the grown-ups that works there smells like they have not showered in weeks. And they are grown people, by the way, who don't know how to shower?
I had a fantastic experience at the small family-owned gaming center, Frost Giant. The service was top-notch, the environment was clean and inviting, and what made it truly special was the involvement of the kids who eagerly assisted us. It felt like a welcoming and community-oriented place that I'll definitely visit again.
We recently went for the UFO festival. The place was great. However, when we bought some of their Pok?mon pocky sticks they were expired and the expiration date said 2023. Unfortunately we aren't from Roswell so we cannot get our money back or anything but we just wanted to make sure the store and customers check the dates.
Owners are great friendly people that love what they do! Made me feel like more than just a customer. Great selection and a willingness to try to get what you request.
A wonderful tabletop game store in Roswell New Mexico. The shop is small but the selection is nice having tabletop miniatures for RPGs and Warhammer. There was also a nice selection of dice, RPG books, pins, stickers, and two active 3-D printers. There's also a small section of the store devoted to local artisans including leatherworking crochet and Lazer burnt wood art.
Great selection, tons of stuff and he can order anything you might need. Even has game rooms and tables to play some Warhammer or d and d.
This is one of the best small businesses I've been to. Everyone was polite and helpful, and I definitely will be returning
I first went to this place one night after work. I can not say enough good things, I made some good friends going over to Frost Giant
Took my Grandkids here. Whooped em in some Mariokart! Fun was had by all!
Very nice people. Pretty neat store and awesome atmosphere.
Spent so much money here I'm broke. 10/10, will visit every paycheck.
Fun for us all. Kids and parents!!
Open for everyone ?? great customer service
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
