Make reservations on weekends, it'll save the wait for open lanes. Good lanes, shoes are good quality, facility is really clean. Pub food is good, pizzas look amazing. Beer is served, there is also a lounge on the property. Arcade has a refillable card to use and keep track of your tickets to redeem for prizes. Facility has an air hockey table, billiards, and plenty of room for kids' parties, and tables for eating. Good time! Cosmic bowling on Friday nights, and other deals on other nights. Lockers are also
Great place to spend time with friends or take a date. They have plenty of American food options and full bar. They also have arcade games, pool tables and the bowling ally is nice. Only thing is sometimes the ally you bowl on messes up setting pins correctly. If you are experiencing this they will reset your game if needed.
This place is a great family fun place to go. They have food there and it is budget friendly. Make a day of it!
My sisters, boyfriend works with autistic individuals and he took a group to freeway bowling and was treated very poorly. The woman at the front desk was very rude and was very clear she was disturbed by their presence.
DO NOT take your own balls! Bowled on Lane 7 today and it gouged each of our balls. The front desk didn't care at all when we brought to their attention. Couldn't even switch us lanes or make sure to shut Lane down.
Best place in the valley for bowling hands down, the main 2 workers are amazing, Mondays get super busy because of the $1 games, and they have certain deals pretty much every day. The food there is a bit expensive but it's good
Great time with the family. Clean bathrooms, and good food.
This place is lots of fun! It has food that isn't too bad, standard prices and an arcade! It's pretty much your average bowling all but it's still a really good time. I do recommend it, even though you don't get free refills on your fountain drinks.
One of the best bowling alleys that I have ever been to. Food is great, staff is extremely friendly, and the place is immaculately clean!
A little pricer than I remember them being a few years ago, and if you have kids DEFINITELY look up ?kids bowl free during the summer at freeway bowl? I think you have to download an app and it'll give you passes for free games. I did not know that and we had to pay for my 16 month old, which I wasn't exactly expecting. Other than that the alley is clean and very well kept!
$40 for three games of bowling, two sets of shoes. Good price! Played arcade games, ordered several cocktails and mozzarella sticks, listened to karaoke in the bar which has a dance floor! Good vibe in the place, easy to get to. People of all ages there. Lots of parking. Employees all very friendly. We will definitely go back.
I like this place because the people are friendly and I love playing bowling.
Went and there was 6 cars in total in the parking lot. Told I would have to wait 30 min on a list when there was clearly no one there. Bummers would not be available for my handicap child. Again no one there. Basically discriminated against a kid with less than a year left on his feet. Just fing wow.
Fun place. We've been here for bowling, pool and Karaoke. It has a great little arcade as well.
My boy and I had soo much fun
Were told 45 mins wait. Went up some time later to ask how long and they told us it would be over 2 hours despite our name already being down. Guy behind the counter was rude and dismissive, has been every time.
Very clean, lots of seating to enjoy a game with friends. After not going out much because of the pandemic it was a little overwhelming with all the lights, color and sounds. I adjusted quickly.
I bowl here quite often. The place is cool. Staff always awesome and even strangers amongst the bowlers are quite friendly. It makes it easier on me bringing my elderly father there.
Great experience. Ordered food and it came fast. Very clean place. Arcade was fun and it used cards instead of coins.
Bowling itself is decent. The bar charges different price per drink depending on who orders it. Food closes early on the weekends. The game room is okay, it's improving but some of the games are still broken.
This is still the best bowling alley ever! We always have the best time and the staff is always so helpful!
Favorite bowling alley in Western CO, but the music sucks most of the time! Please play something 90s or newer sometimes.
All around just great atmosphere. One of the best places in town for karaoke. The only place in town that has kids karaoke, which is a great idea to include the kids to have fun singing like the adults. The pizza there is really good.
Crazy the bullshit they allow in their parking lot. Under age drinking- LOUD music at 2am because they don't clear the parking lot after they close. Tonight a shooting. After multiple attempts of calling to ask them to get their parking lot under control and the attitude i get back for calling. Eventually they'll be shut down due to just what is going on in their parking lot.
This place has been great for my grandkids and their friends. I appreciate all the help from the front desk. Rental shoes $5 and snackbar bit pricey($4.50 lg soda) We have a new fun pass time!
Friendly staff thats been there a long time! The building and the equipment are a bit dated, but the guys are always super helpful when something goes wrong, ie a stuck ball etc. The prices are very reasonable so its just something you work with. Its usually quick to get a lane and the bowling experience is good. The arcade is okay for small kids. The pool tables are nice to have as my friends and I always play a few games after bowling. The tables are also a bit dated and sometimes malfunction, but i've ne
Met some friends for a fun time. The lanes we're available right away and the games were buy one, get one free.
Don't take care of their approach?s, lanes or their ball returns. If there was anywhere else with available lanes I would suggest going there. Service is about as good as the lanes
Good clean fun , very well kept up there.
We have so much fun here. They do a good job of accommodating a lot of people over holidays and such and always having everything you need. The arcade is fun for the kids and the improvements over the post few years have really made a difference in the feel of this place. Very family friendly and would recommend for league or just a short random game.
Just don't like it! To, many fights on the weekends
We did the kids bowl free which was a little confusing but the kid at the front desk was very helpful with my crazy bunch of kids.
Nice and clean bowling alley. The whole family came for the afternoon and it was a great time
Great bowling, and fun games. Went for a birthday party but will be back for family night.
Fun place to bowl. The arcade is a plus.
Kids bowl free is an awesome summer program and makes bowling with a family affordable. You only pay for shoes! 2 free games A DAY! Cool little food shop in there, lots of snack foods. Arcade is a little pricey so we avoid that part. Download the kids bowl free app and select free way bowl.
Good bands. Good drinks at decent prices.
Fun, family-friendly place!!
Old establishment but still has good bones and good vibes. Friendly staff
Great atmosphere! If you need to plan an event Mrs. Donna is the best! Had a company party and she made sure she had everything ready for us the morning of and called to double check. She was flexible while following their policy. Had an amazing time ????
I played a few rounds of billiards with a friend. The parking lot was modest but several broken bottles on the ground so... Be careful with your tires. The coin slot on the billiards tablets are a bit sticky so the need a little extra push to get it in. The tables also did have a full set ( one had 2 one balls and 3 11's. All things considered it was reasonably priced, clean, and not too crowded for a Sunday morning.
I took my kids out for family night, we had a great time. This place brought back so many memory's. It's been awhile since I had been here.I remember growing up in this place. Spending a lot of nights bored out of my mind forced to go, being a kid with league parents. I swear the two guys working are the same two guys I remember back then also ?? just a little older. Anyway, am glad they are still open for business. Pizza was delicious, the setting was nostalgic.
I went to freeway bowl to support a local businesses silent auction and enjoy spinning a few balls myself. I then learned it was someone's birthday and decided to write and sing a song, (I do that and have done that since 1999). The cashier and master bowling technician, Mike, generously turned down the indoor music volume so I could sing the song, instead of singing over the music. I was honestly not expecting the alley to do that but Mike did and it was awesome!!! Mike even let me say exactly when to d
Came down to shoot some pool, actually, and was pleasantly surprised to find some decent pool tables at this establishment.
The staff has been very friendly and attentive. We have had so much fun bowling that we bought out own bowling shoes. I'm glad this place has good food and beverages too completely enjoy
Me and my friends went on a Friday night, which was busy, and got put onto the waiting list at 7:10 Pm. We were told the wait would be about an hour, which is normal on a Friday night but at 8:40 after we had still yet to be called for a lane we went back to the counter and were told it would be yet another half hour before they could get us in. We noticed empty lanes and due to the long wait we decided to leave. Seeing us leaving that's when they decided to call our name. If orchard mesa lanes didn't do le
Bowling is fun. Sometimes the people at the front desk are either super nice and ready to help or don't really seem to care and want to just get out to the lane and out of their way. Overall super fun place though.
We bowl there every time we are in town
Had a great time bowling, and the food was great. The full-size sandwiches are huge. Great place for a get-together with friends.
I tuck my family here to have a good night our balls got stuck all the time and we kept having to ask them to fix the pins for us and that really seemed to upset the man at the conter to the point he would not even respond to us.After we wher done bowling we tried to play some of the games almost all of them did not work and the pool table tuck my kids money.
Cool place to go with the family! Pretty good prices for a good time bowling also there's no arcade and several pool tables
We had a great time!
Great place and surprisingly decent food. The line to get in was crazy long. If you wanted to order anything you had to stand in the same line as bowlers trying to get a lane and shoes which took for ever but otherwise a fun place.
This is the best bowling alley in town. Clean, everything works, and they actually care about updating and keeping it fun in our ever changing world. The food was bomb and the bowling was so much better than I remember as being a young person on dry freeway lanes. So awesome! Keep up the good work!
Great place to bowl! Very energetic & fun environment! We happened to order food while we were there and were very unhappy with the quality of the food compared to the cost. For 3 people, we paid about $60 for just the food. This isn't even restaurant quality food, I would say it's similar to gas station food. We will come back for bowling, but will also be making sure we have plans to eat before we bowl.
I had a good time, definitely will be coming back to bowl. The food was good and the place was clean, which is always a plus.
Old and antiquated bowling alley. The amenities are outdated and the building is a bit run down. Decent bowling though, staff is friendly. It's overpriced in my opinion but they run tons of specials throughout the week. Mondays and Tuesdays are the day to go. They have kids free bowling all throughout the summer which is awesome.
The prices are alright depending on the day you go. Sunday is best. But Staff was really wonderful!! The kids had so much fun in the arcade, and the adults played a game of pool while waiting for a lane to open up. The cafe has a great selection for food and drinks. Plus there's a bar, cause there's nothing like having a beer after a great game.
Was packed with family's all having a good time. Plenty of lanes, Plenty of clean rental shoes and bowling balls to sort through if you don't have your own. Well cared for lanes and easy to operate scoring.
I've been coming to this place for a long time. Very nostalgic for me. So i do love this place. Love the bar, very cheap and a lot of nice waitresses. Overall I think the building is a little run down and could use some love, but I think the owners are trying to fix it. Last time I was in seemed like they might be putting in new monitors so maybe a step in the right direction.
I paid $1/game on Monday nights! Lanes are well maintained and even with high volume b/c of price per game, staffing was appropriate. It is nice to bowl on lanes that are taken care of. Great experience.
Tony has really fixed Freeway up! it was run down. I take friends and family there. It is by far the best priced in town! It is clean and wide open, not cramped anywhere. The food is good, and the employees are helpful and considerate. There is now an arcade, with air hockey, and several pool tables not in the bar area. They have many events and deals to take advantage of! I encourage families to go here to spend quality time together with their kids at least once a month! I would give 5 stars for
Great place to take the family... 4 shoe rentals and 4 games was $60. For 3 hours of fun it was well worth it. All the staff were super friendly and helpful And they sell new socks for $3 a pair which was handy bc my daughter forgot hers at home.
Friendly place, always clean and the Cafe serves the best hotdogs among other great choices. Donna takes care and is always friendly. She is a great manager. Thanks all. Year later.... it remains fun, friendly and Donna is the best.
Clean and good food.
Great place, very clean, my kids had fun at the arcade
The prices are extremely affordable, the staff are friendly, and there's always something going on, whether it's bowling, pool, arcade games or karaoke, we always have a good time there!
Younger lady at front desk wasn't friendly. We did not feel welcomed. Our lane had several technical problems. We tried to explain it to the front desk lady and she said "oh it must be out of sync" and did not offer us another Lane. We continue to play with even more issues to the point where we decided it was not worth staying. We told the front desk person about our issues as we left and all she said was "sorry." Very poor experience here. Will not be returning. How to improve: Be friendly from the star
Can't actually comment on the bowling, didn't bowl. However, the pool table took my quarters and I waited at the counter for like ten minutes in line and no employee came out, saw several walk by. We weren't able to use the arcade because the machine wouldn't read my debit card. The Irish trash can drink I had was stiff but also kinda pricey for a bowling alley ($15) the Chicago dog was good but it didn't have sport peppers, pepperonis instead. kinda a bit picky critique but I am from IL. All in all I would
Fun place to bring your family or friends. There's something for everyone here. Great times for sure.
Very clean and reasonably priced
It's is a really good place to go and go enjoy with the family but the only BAD thing is the workers some are hella disrespectful.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
