This place is beautiful and immaculate. The vintage games all play like new. It is like a living museum dedicated to 1979 - 1993. A great place to bring your kids and share your childhood with them in a meaningful way. When games today are all single player... it's nice to be able to challenge them in something fun! (That they can't necessarily win so easily!!! lol). My 13 yr old son really enjoyed his time with me tonight, and it didn't bust my wallet. Cool part is... Joe the owner can be spotted up

Looking for a fun night out? We all had a blast at Free Play tonight. Pinball games, old school games, racing games, darts, and skee ball. Something for everyone! Plus reasonable drinks at the bar and snacks for the kids. One price lets you play all the games for as long as you want!

Went on a Thursday. Family of 4 got in for $45 and we were super impressed!!! Very clean, lots of variety and the people were very nice. If you are in the area, highly recommend!!!

Had an absolute blast here! Love love loveeee the selections, Extremely friendly staff and super fun! I highly recommend this spot for a fun night out! Was worth the $ and will I be back!

Totally awesome!!! Tons of new and old pins,Stern, Williams, and more! All the games look and work great, what a blast!

Awesome! So much fun!!! Love that each unit has a bit of it's history including manufacturer and release dates!

Perfect for the end of a great Father?s Day, the 7-8pm happy hour was super affordable for our family of 4! Very friendly and informative staff, clean, and so much fun! We'll definitely be back!

Such a cool place to hang out on our trip to Michigan for bowling! The kids enjoyed playing some of the games I played as a child! Great place, great prices and the people there are so friendly! we will definitely try to return!

Came here for the first time today and my 3 kids had a blast. The owner was very nice and welcoming. I had my youngest with me who couldn't play with much he even gave him a toy for being good. Definitely will be back soon.

Great place. Awesome games at a great price, decent selection at bar with great prices also. Everyone I've interacted with has been extremely pleasant. I love the information added on each one of the machines to be able to learn about the history

An awesome place to go play pinball! $15 freeplay on Thursdays and $20 on Fri-Sun. Great lineup of classic Williams/Bally, as well as new machines, with an entire wall of music themed pinball machines! All of their Stern machines have Insider Connect, so you can log in and get achievements on freeplay! They even have skee ball, bubble hockey, and darts! Staff are cool, Amanda, Olivia, and Vinny are very friendly and welcoming! Beer is cheap, you can get a domestic can for $3 or a craft beer can for $4! You

This place is so fun and such a terrific deal! We love the old time arcade games and they have a ton of them! You name it, they have it. It was nice to pay one flat rate and get to play unlimited, a welcome departure from the new arcades that require you mortgage your house to play! Definitely will be back.

This place is really cool. They have a ton of new and throwback pinball and arcade games.its pricey, but somewhat worth it. One fee gets you a wrist band to play unlimited games. They have an eating area where you can bring in outside food or have it delivered from Uber eats etc...they even provide plates and plastic wear for you to do so. They have a full service bar for adults as well as non alcoholic beverages for the youngins. They also offer packages to rent the entire place for both kid and adult par

Awesome Arcade!! Thursdays is half off for women! You pay for a wrist band of 15 bucks but on Thursdays women it's 7.50! Okay every game ALL day for free just pay for wristband and you're good to go! Super cool!! Write a review and get a free coin!

Really fun arcade to come and play some games! Clean place and plenty of options of games to choose from. Family friendly, but fun for all ages

Had my daughters birthday party here and the staff was amazing. The 2 men that were there one with the glasses behind the counter was very helpful and friendly. The man who worked the bar with the bald head was amazing also. Definitely would go back! Very good prices and fun for everyone.

My husband and I came here for one of our Friday night date nights and we really enjoyed it! The size is perfect. It's not overwhelming. They had a lot of retro arcade games in addition to the themed pinball machines. Totally worth a visit!

Great place with a variety of pinball machines from EMs to modern. There are arcade machines here too, some of them are excellent if I were to make a suggestion it would be to not replace original crts with lcds it just reduces the authenticity of actually going out to an arcade and playing , but thats me nitpicking. Most pins seemed to be in excellent condition, and the ones that weren't still would be playable to someone that doesn't really know what's going on. Drink selection is nice and priced reasonab

Amazing selection of games! Classic pinball, new pinball, and a nice variety of vintage arcade games. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I definitely got my money's worth. I'm glad they've been able to survive the pandemic so far, unlike a lot of other local small business. Now that they're back on, I'll be going back for pinball lessons! For the people worried about the Rona, the place was also extremely clean. They had dividers between all the games to help social distance.

Very cool place to hang out and play games! Great price I went Saturday at noon when it opened left at 3ish. Went back at 6 til 10 on the same wrist band. Pay once and your good all day. Guessing Vince was an owner super cool cat! You'll have a great time here if you like old school arcades

Keep it clean, some staff friendly, some need some training. To turn away 100s of dollars in revenue to stop one Starbucks coffee from coming in blows my mind. As the employees are sitting at the counter with Dunkin? Donuts drinks and food. Probably why there's only a few people ever there. A nice idea, but turning away much needed revenue is a good way to not last?

We came here for a birthday party and fell in love. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. The had games to keep the kids busy for hours, and didn't get upset when a ball accidently went flying. Also, the biggest pinball was a super bonus :)

We had a really great time! The idea of pay one price and endless playing after that is awesome! Even if you're terrible at playing, it doesn't feel so bad when you lose. Looking forward to going back!!! ??????

First time being there. I would recommend going on Thursday. When is cheaper. Weekends, you'll pay 20 bucks per person. But you do get unlimited game play. Fun, friendly atmosphere. Not very big inside. You'll go around in laps a few times. More pinball than arcades. But they do have a handful of arcades. Had a good time. For the first hour. But after going around and playing the pinball games. It does tend to get boring. Wish they had more things. Like pool tables or more dart boards. But playi

Not a bad spot for the whole family. It's a little pricey, but there are plenty of classic games and solid food. The staff is also pretty friendly and helpful. It's a solid little spot.

Great experience! We hosted a work event here that comfortably accommodated our group of about 30 people. They were excellent hosts and took care of providing plates, plasticware, cups, and napkins. The built-in bar was a nice feature. They had fun games, quality pinball, and a selection of retro arcade cabinets - which were a hit. While adding some modern arcade games would be a great addition, we still had an amazing time.

If you want a great pinball experience. You will get it. The decor matches the games. The owner has also included some of his personal collection of guitars. Each guitar corresponds with each pinball machine, and each guitar is signed by the musicians of the band.

Wow, I have a new favorite place in Michigan! Great value, unlimited play for a low price, great prices at the bar (beer and wine), exceptional game selection all in good to great condition and friendly staff. Great place for a family outing earlier and a friend hangout or date later. To all of my pinball nerds, it has one of the best selections of EM, solid state and modern pins on location in MI. As of 5/21 they had these classics - Capt'n Fantastic, Alladin's Castle, Funhouse, Monster Bash, AF, TZ, Worl

Good rate for unlimited play! We spent a few hours here and had a great time. They have one of the world's largest pinball machines!

Yoy get to play as much as you want for a one time price and they have a giant pretzel that you can easily split with someone and still be full. This place is great for kids all the way to adults and it is still fun.

Very clean well kept place to enjoy some pinball! The machines are kept up very well. You can bring in your dinner from local restaurants or call for hubgrub or uber eats. This place has tables to sit and enjoy your dinner they even have plasticware, plates, cups and napkins! Donkey kong and ms pacman have nice tight joysticks, not too tight and definatly not sloppy highly enjoyable. We will be back! For one price you get a armband and can play, leave, and come back in the same day its good until closing!

My first time there. Machines reminder me of the 1980's with Pac Man, Mrs Pac Man and a few others. Not a massive place like The Butterfly which I used to frequent during the 80's which was on Van Dyke when I was in my 20's. But it was nice. One of the staff informed me that I couldn't use a stool while playing the Pinball games. When she gets 63 years old, she will know why it is important to sit occasionally too, even if you don't look your age!

We had a great time here. It's affordable to take your kids and they can play everything as many times as they want for 1 price

This place is amazing! Super fun and full of awesome machines! The owner is great and super welcoming. You can tell he really takes pride in his business and strives to make it fun for his customers!

This is a family favorite! Everytime we come here, there are new games and pinball tables! Parties here rule!

So many pinball machines from across the ages! Very well maintained, too. Plus the bar is really cool and pretty cheap. Definitely a good place for weekend hangs.

This Place Is Super Nice, We Enjoyed My Son 7th Birthday Today. I'm Going To Visit Again Soon & Plan To Have Another Party. Thank God I Found This Place The Staff Is Awesome

Brought my family (teens and a 9 year old) here today and had a great time! Joe was really friendly and checked up on us a couple times to make sure we were doing ok. We chose to wear masks, but it is optional for those who are vaccinated. They do have sanitizer throughout the building and have cleaning protocols for the games. My son loves Pixels and he got to play the games he learned about from that movie. It is loud, so bring headphones or earplugs if you are sensitive. The bar is reasonably priced,

Awesome atmosphere clean environment the guy at the customer service part was soooo amazing so kind his name is Joe y'all come up and check this awesome place out .. everyone is friendly and kind and cooool I love it

This is the best place ever!! So nostalgic great atmosphere so much fun!! Definitely worth checking out and coming back

Pretty cool place, lots of different arcade games and pinball machines all over. It was clean and not too busy, I'm sure we weren't there during peak times though. $20 for a wrist band in Saturday gets you free games until they close at midnight, so pretty awesome if you are gonna be there a while. Some cool statues of the members of KISS are behind the bar as well, definitely check it out!

Loads of fun for everyone of all ages. The value is great and something different for a day out. Will be having future birthday parties here??

I've driven by this place a bunch of times and always wondered what it was like inside, last night I found out and it WAS AWESOME! If you get the opportunity to go and love retro gaming this is the place! Very clean, tons of great pinball and arcade games and a great staff! We will definitely be back, this place is a real gem!

We had a great time! Lots of gaming options for the classically inclined. I was partial to Godzilla. Staff was really nice and the bar was the perfect complement. Also can't beat that it is across from a Taco Bell. Will definitely be back!

This place is absolutely incredible! So much nostalgia! If you like pinball and then some this is the place to go. One price to enter, then its freeplay on every game in the building except Hercules (the biggest pinball machine youll ever see!) Alcohol is coming soon too! You can use uber eats or bring your own food. They have pop and water bottles for purchase for now! The family and I really love this place and will continue to come back again and again!

They were great with our impromptu b-day party! The owner is a very nice guy, our group stayed until closing because we were having fun. Good machines - they're clean, they work! And Free Play has enough machines to rotate them so there's always something new and different. My favorite is a vintage World Cup soccer :)

It is a cool place to vibe out and play games and have a couple drinks and a quick little outing for the kids

This place is so much fun. It has a good mix of entertainment from dart boards, ski ball, foosball, retro arcade games, racing games, shooting games, pinball, and hockey arcade. I love the mix of games from Mortal Kombat, Off-Road, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr, Tron, Frogger, Mario Brothers, Galaga, Centerpede, Pac-Man, Defender, Stargate, Dig Dug, and Street Fighter II. All this for only $20. There are tables to relax at and have a beer, soda, or snack. What a great hang out place.

Amazing, sweet, and kind owner! Pristine machines and such a wide variety. Awesome facilities!

This was a really fun date night. We went on a Thursday night and didn't see any kids. That was wonderful. Very reasonably priced. I can't remember the last time we went out for $40. Good selection of can drinks. Great mix of pinball, video games and arcade games. I highly recommend Free Play Pinball Arcade.

It is amazing. All of the pinball is fun. And the food is great. I would recommend.

Medical grade CLEAN!!! This was the best Arcade spot I've been to. Awesome selection not a SPOT on any glass, friendly staff and never needing to reach for a quarter out of your pocket before the game counts down to 0 was incredible.

Always a great time with the kids. Coming back whenever possible.

Having heard a great deal from friends, and with there being such a drought of arcades as time goes on, I was compelled to visit as an enthusiast and advocate for pinball/ arcade preservation. Having done so, Free Play Pinball Arcade is fine. I was charged $20 for a day pass over the weekend, which I generally wouldn't be too concerned about as it allows you to play the games as much as you can handle without worrying about visiting a coin changing machine, but the selection is very limited and the space s

Brought my son and his friends for his birthday. The staff was fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. We had our own table and area for snacks and drinks and they provided all of the plates, cups, and plasticware! We will definitely be back and would recommend for a party or fun night out.

Wow! What a collection of games. Fantastic pinball machines! An 11 classic bands pinball machines wall! Hercules, the world's largest production pinball machine, and great classic arcade and bar games. A must stop!

A super awesome pinball location destination! Love the game selection old and new. Especially loved being able to play Hercules (largest pinball machine ever manufactured). Joined their Thursday evening pinball tournament twice now. They are a very friendly and welcoming group of players. Might I suggest getting some merchandise (T-shirts, stickers, etc.). I would be one of the first in line to buy some. Until next time...

Fun place for Pinball and to hang with friends. This place is a lot of fun. Good price for entry and weekend rates. When you factor in other arcades price for Quarters and price per play, you spend less than an hour here and you'll get your money's worth for sure.

This place us a BLAST! If you love Pin Ball n all kinds of various pin ball.machines at 1 charge..you'll love it. Bring friends n your own food, they have drinks.

Awesome place to go! I don't really care to play pinball but this place changed my mind. They have a ton of machines that are in great condition. Every game in there works. Very clean environment! The staff is absolutely Amazing as well.

Super nice staff and fun place, owner is a super nice guy will come again

After the odd experience I had at Universal Nonstop, this place was a breath of fresh air. 20 bucks for unlimited game play is well worth the price of admission. And the games look well maintained and cared for. Plus you can leave and come back and bring in outside food!

$20 and you get to play everything! My kids love it

Absolutely loved this place. The host's were super friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere was delightful, artwork was so awesome. Will definitely be returning, worth the long drive. Thanks for having us!

Awesome place. Thay have games ranging from the 70's - 2024. All the older games not only look great but are in BEAUTIFUL operating condition as well. Most of the pinball games have plaques stating manufacturer, year made, game designer, and artwork artist so it's like a history lesson as well. Second time here and will definitely be going back!

Amazing nostalgia. So much fun and great price points. I will definitely be going back.

Cool place. Good retro games. We will be back soon.

I've been a regular since February 2024. I showed up on a Thursday night in the beginning of February, not knowing much about pinball, and I played in the weekly tournament. I ended up taking 4th place, but it was just the beginning of an incredible journey with the local pinball community. The people at free play are incredible! The staff is welcoming, friendly, and always willing to lend a helping hand, whether it be assisting with a stuck ball in a game or talking strategy for your favorite pinball machi

Visited here this past Saturday with the family. We had a great time! My husband and I was excited to give my daughter a glimpse of how it was for us in the 80s. She really enjoyed playing the pinball machine for the first time. The staff was very friendly and everyone there was nice.

Love this place to watch the game while the kids play in the Arcade! Highly recommend!

Hello! We came here wanting to check the place out for a larger private event! The event space was amazing. Unfortunately staff was very unprofessional, the front desk person was rude to us the moment we walked in, to the point that she dumped one of our drinks out and lied about it. I had to use the restroom and I had my spouse hold my drink. He put it on top of the machine (because his drink was in the drink holder on the side of the machine) and the desk lady came and dumped my drink. She said that my pa

Everything about this place is awesome. The staff is super kind, the games are in great condition, and their prices are reasonable. I can't wait to come back here!

We had my son's 13th birthday party here today and all I can say is WOW!!!! This place is the perfect spot for the whole family to enjoy, of all ages!!! The staff is beyond amazing and so polite. We were checked in on multiple times. And you truly cant beat their pricing! I 100% recommend this place for an afternoon out, or for events!!! Thank you all so much for making my son's 13th birthday an amazing one! You guys rock.

Super fun night! Went on a Friday night and there were quite a few people there but I was still able to play multiple games. Centipede is my favorite but they also had Donkey Kong and D.K. Jr, Frogger, Galaga, Golden Tee and several others that I'll have to go back to play. Only complaint is that I don't remember Mrs. Pac-Man moving so slow...idk if it was lagging or if my memory is terrible. Other than that can't wait to go back and beat my high score.

If you're in the mood for some classic gaming fun, this is the spot!

Had a great experience. All the games from years ago(Qbert, PacMan, Centipede, Tempest, and many others) and newer pinball games as well. All in top working order. It's nice to be able just to play without keeping track of quarters, tokens or a card balance. The only game missing was Missile Command. I loved that game as a teen. Please get that game and your selection would be complete??

Wasnt fun at all. Updated 8/6/2024: i noticed you responded with ??? Whats the question that you have? 60$ for a family of four of boring games is not fun its a rip off bud. That is 240 quarters which no one in their right mind would use. Those games are awful very ancient as in Not a fun place especially for kids. Maybe for adults it is cool for like 5-10 minutes but after that you want your money back. Sorry was not fun at all

Great value! I love taking my kids here because they can play all they want for a flat fee instead of blowing all my money. Most of the games are in great condition; far better than other vintage arcades I've been to.

Just had our son?s Birthday Party there. What a great place! Very clean! The ownership was so nice and helpful! The boy?s had a great time! And so did all the parents. By the end of the party, there were almost as many Parents playing as the kids. What a fantastic value! We will definitely be making an adult night out of it soon with friends!

For someone Gen X, like myself, this place is awesome it has games I haven't seen or thought about in 40 years. We've been several times and we've always enjoyed ourselves. Today, for some reason, it was filled with a ton of little (under 10/12) kids. I have 5 kids of my own all grown now, but honestly, this was super annoying. They belong at Chuck E. Cheese, not here. This has more of a bar feel, which is why we like it. There is actually a bar in the place. I had little kids cutting in line to play games

Such a fun experience! We will be taking our son here when he is old enough!

Probably the best place in the metro for arcade games, predominantly pinball. The pay one fee to play for as long as you like is ideal, no chewing through quarters. The machines are all in working order and well maintained. Even on league nights, there's enough machines that as long as you're flexible about which you play there's always availability. Re-entry is allowed as well if you need to go to your car. I'd give it 5 stars, but they don't have much in the way of food/snacks. Which I get, and they do l

We went for New Year's Eve and we'll definitely be back.

Took my son here for his birthday and we all had a blast. Good mix of older and newer pinball and retro games. Loved that they have skee ball and bubble hockey. Employees are super nice and answered my inquisitive sons many questions with a smile. We will definitely return!

This place is fantastic, the pinballs are all in great shape and so many choices. Took a few hours to play everything, will definitely come back!

We have gone here twice so far. The games are always in great condition and there are plenty to keep you busy for hours. The staff are friendly and helpful. The price for entry is extremely reasonable and the drink prices are pretty much what you would expect. The ability to bring in your own food is a great idea and I am looking forward to when they have their bar up and rubbing. They seem to be adding games at a good rate and I look forward to see how this place evolves.

We really loved this place the first few times we went. Last night was kind of rough though. Some of the people in our household are on the autism spectrum and were experiencing serious sensory overload. Last night was very loud and very crowded. It wasn't at all what we were expecting. After paying for all five of us it almost felt like we had to stick it out and make the best of a bad situation. I hoped the kids would feel better after we had food delivered but they couldn't eat because they were so upset

This place is awesome. It's well worth the reasonable price to be able to play as long as you want and even come and go. Aside from the super cool games, the staff is wonderful as well. We last minute planned a birthday party here (like day of), and they were super nice and accommodating. We definitely will be back.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
