We loved our visit. It had literally been years since stopping by. We chose to play mini golf and since it was late in the afternoon the weather wasn't as hot. I love how clean it is and the staff is very friendly. The landscaping and decor on the gold area is beautiful for pictures with the family. We also came in to the arcade area and my kids had fun with the many different games they have.
We had a blast playing putt-putt here! The course is well-maintained and offers a fun challenge for all skill levels. Just be aware that the arcade games can get a bit pricey, so set a budget beforehand if you plan on playing them. It's a great place for some family fun, but be prepared for a little extra spending if you want to enjoy the full arcade experience. Consider bringing some snacks and drinks to avoid the concession stand prices as well. Overall, a fun outing, just be mindful of the extras.
We had a great time plai g put put golf. Place is expensive when you play the video games so have a pocket of money.
Giving a 2 stars review because we purchased two tickets for mini golf and a $1 fun card so we can load money on to play arcade games while we wait for the crowd on the mini golf course to go down. We were never told that they loaded the money used to buy mini golf onto the cards nor did it say on the signage of prices for each attraction. We loaded money on the fun card and didn't really notice until we went to golf and they said the money was loaded on the card even though we were not aware that they did
We love coming here and bringing our friends. The mini golf here is amazing and actually very challenging. The drifter and racecars are a blast as well. Every time we go to this place it is almost empty, making the experience much more enjoyable. Only complaint is how expensive the arcade games are but we usually go for the mini golf and drifters.
Mini golf was awesome. Very reasonably priced and such a nice course. Although they didn't have moving obstacles all of the courses were challenging with the in ground parts! The cost is very reasonably priced $10 per person and we did not have to wait long for each hole. The arcade was pretty fun too but the ticket shop with all the prices was pretty lame and unamusing.
Super fun place, they are carrying out maintenance. It's just a shame that the karts are only available after Friday.
As always - burgers are awesome!!!! Great game of golf and a few games made for a great weekend out. Great for both day and evening outings. Everyone is very helpful and seem to enjoy what they are doing. Can't wait to return.
11/2/2024 @2130..The place is fun, and i honestly had a good time playing the mini golf and go kart. The reason i am giving a 2 star it is because of the teenagers working at the front desk, one hispanic and another african american teenager with long braids. I went to load my card at the desk and this 2 teenagers looked at me and started giggling the whole time and not helping. I felt so dissapointed and upset because they wouldnt explain why all over a sudden they are staring at me and laughing. I gave th
Very fun place! There's a kart racing track, drifting, a water toy, climbing and another one that we didn't go to. There is also mini golf and indoor toys. The price is good, the service is very good and the place is clean. We really enjoyed the experience, going with family and a group of friends. we will come back again.
Been here several times. Always have a good time last time walking out was a beautiful sunset
Frankies fun park is one of the best local amusement parks in the area. They offer two mini golf courses, batting cages, bumper boats, a couple go car tracks. A perfect place for families and everyone. They also have a large indoor arcade, as well as food and drink. Great place for birthday parties as well. So hop in your cars and head to Frankies for a fun filled day.
I've been twice so far with my niece for mini golf and the arcade and both were so much fun. No food, but free refills on my niece?s drink were nice. Biggest issues: There should be better protections to keep golf balls from rolling into the water and give more attention to the standing water throughout, especially the course holes. Otherwise, a great time. We're looking forward to the next.
We had our daughter's 13th birthday party here today, and it was FANTASTIC! On Friday around 1pm, I called and spoke to someone, and she said her manager would call me back later that day or on Saturday. Well, I got a call around 4 pm on Friday, and Ashley ( I believe was her name) made booking the party very easy and explained something to when I asked about it. Today, when I checked in, they had everything ready for us, tables, play cards, food lists, etc. Once I turned the food list with my selected
The mini golf course is fun. $10 per person for essentially 35 holes. Go carts are fun as well. The arcade though was quite disappointing. Any good game is $2 per play and a good chunk of them needed attention.
Frankie Fun Park is an excellent place for families. We played the 18hole golf course. It isn't fancy, but definitely fun. There is an arcade, gocarts, and much more. I was also impressed with how clean the entire park was. I definitely recommend Frankies for you and your whole family.
The kids absolutely loved Frankies Fun Park. I, highly recommend that people go to check it out??.
This place was fun! My family and I visited late in the evening for some after dinner fun and we enjoyed ourselves. The Go-Karts were out favorite part! Unfortunately I wasn't able to experience the virtual reality game they offer because I wear glasses. It would be nice to have an adjustment to accommodate patrons like myself who wear glasses 100% of the time.
Only thing working there is large go cart track, mini golf and the game room..also I went to order a slice of pizza, after placing the order we noticed the young lady with the blue headphones on sitting on the food prep table directly across from the pick-up window....!VERY UNSANITARY! !THINGS APPEAR TO BE UNDER CONSTRUCTION.. WE FELT THERE WASN'T ENOUGH FUN OPTIONS THERE! just a waste of time for us FYI: BEFORE YOU GO PUTTING MONEY ON A FRANKIES CARD ?? WALK AROUND FIRST??
My family had so much fun here. I'm not sure how the crowd normally is, but we went on a Monday about 1pm. When you enter, you walk through the arcade to a deal with food and drink options on the left and your amusement options on the right. We didn't have to wait in line and there was no one immediately in front of us on the putt putt course. We were able to play both courses in about 3 hours with a break for slushies in between rounds. As for the course itself, it was fun and challenging. All of the holes
This place is amazing! Great place to spend some family time together. Not just and arcade and not just a golf curse, they offer way more! Great place to take people from out of town! #fun #familytime #outing #arcades #racing #golfing
Me and my fiance take our kids here on a pretty regular basis and we love frankies! They have everything from mini golf to all the newer arcade games and golf cart racing and batting cages. If your looking for something to do with a group of friends or family on an otherwise slow week or weekend night when not much else is happening frankies is a fun place to go!
Came here for a work outing yesterday and we had a great time particularly on the drifting go carts. Alex was the employee working there and he had amazing customer service and made the experience so much fun for us!
Lots of fun. We went for mini golf and we're surprised that they had two 18 hole courses. We played the west (staff said it was the "hard" one) and it was tough, but fun. The landscaping was nice. Not too crowded on a Thursday night and the breeze helped keep us from getting too sweaty. Staff was friendly. Looks like they had a lot of cool stuff to do.
We researched places to spend some time while on vacation and found Frankie?s Fun Park! We went after a substantial rain, so the Putt Putt Course still had some standing water, but we enjoyed our time so much that we decided to play both courses! They had a nice arcade inside and a refreshment counter. I would recommend Frankie?s if you're looking for something fun to do!
This place is just great ???? When my family or friends came to visit (especially unannounced) I found Frankie's to be a great impromptu place to entertain company. There's so much going on that everyone can find something fun to do & occupy themselves. It's very well managed & maintained, as well as affordable for just about anyone's budget. Though I no longer live in the area I'd still highly recommend this place to anyone lacking plans. Keep up the good work ??
Mini golf was fun, but we got stuck behind 3 groups that had 6-10 people in them. *Super* crowded so we just played our round of mini golf and left.
On vacation and had a great time with the kids! Mini golf course is in excellent condition, go cart track was super fun and the arcade inside was a blast for all!
Great place for a family to go on a nice day. Even on a bad day the arcade is great and the food selection is pretty wide. The outdoor amenities are amazing but a little pricey. I guess they have to make things a little more expensive since it is never busy. But great experience and fun time.
Great place to go with the whole family. We loved the go karts and mini golf. Plenty of games inside when your ready to cool off. Great place to go hit some balls also in the batting cages.
We went go-kart racing, and it was fun! Unfortunately, the weather didn't help us play longer. However, the place offers a spacious area and a variety of games to enjoy
"My son and I had a very disappointing experience at your arcade. While the mini golf was fine, the interaction with the manager, Mr. Stephen, was unacceptable. We won 926 tickets on the Monopoly game, and he accused me of lying, refusing to acknowledge our winnings. My son was incredibly upset, as he was denied the prize he had earned. It's disheartening to see a manager treat customers, especially children, with such disrespect. This incident has left a negative impression, and I hope you will address thi
Impressed for sure. First time back in years and they have done a lot to update the grounds. I played 18 holes of putt putt and the course was great. They were adding new plants while I was there. All new video games inside and new go carts outside.
We had a ball! The pizza was great, buffalo wings and fries were great and the family time was priceless. And when it came to rock climbing...my baby made it to the top on the 3rd time and this was his first time.??
Beautifully maintained mini golf course and arcade facility. Must go!
Really wanted to visit here with my children but sadly they sell alcohol. I personally don't want my children (or myself) around drinking. Where are the true family friendly places ??
Very poor place nothing yo do the go kart is 9 dollar for 5 min is very expensive for nothing the place not have everything they show you on the web side..
The inside arcade area was very clean. There were plenty of employees on hand and local police for added security. We had fun earning tickets and getting prizes. We also rode the road course go carts. The track was fun and we felt very safe.
Good variety of games and decent food. Would be nice to have more shaded areas on the Putt Putt courses.
Had a blast playing games and mini golf. Spent way too much money, though. Virtual games and such end very early for the price you're paying.
I had my grand daughter 7th birthday party there today (01/04/2025) and I was not satisfied at all, the host was awful she never came to check on us until it was almost time to leave, this place is overly price and the younger staff seems like they were high on drugs or something, for the money that I spent there for the party and my guests there should have been refilled offer on the drinks or give a discounted price on refills. Frankie?s Fun Park will not be getting any more business from me as far as hav
We had an amazing time playing mini golf and a couple games inside the place is quiet and clean
The advertisement for the batting cages should be removed or updated. Batting Cages are permanently shut down. Don't waste your money if that's all you are looking for.
Batting cages are closed permanently. Still listed through google as having them. Don't waste your time. They are demolishing the cages to put in carnival rides.
I've never been to bring you from bark as an adult I play putt-putt with my boyfriend it was good of course he won the game
Great family fun! Parents and kids together can have fun here. You can play 2 different courses of putt putt or ride on several different go kart tracks. They also have batting cages, a rock climbing wall, and plenty of video games to keep you busy.
We went on a Friday night, and Labor Day weekend. It was mostly empty. It looks like no one under 18 is allowed without a parent or guardian. I don't mind it not being crowded, but it seemed weird. I'm not used to seeing it like that. We enjoyed the mini golf, batting cage, go karts, and arcade. Overall. If you want to relax without too many kids, this is the place to go.
We really went for the go karts! They have a ton of games inside but the go karts are what we were looking for and they came through Big Time. Our youngest is a little competitive and has an issue with bumping folks. So dude slowed her down a time or two. ?????. Really was a blast and we will be back!!!
Cool little hang out spot for all ages. Reasonably priced food and up-to-date gaming.
The kids had a great time but, the customer service & food lines/waits were ridiculous! The games are also over priced.
Visiting from Philadelphia, impressive amount of games and activities, very professional staff-problem with a game was very quickly resolved - great place for teens
nice little place. did goofy golf which was super fun. the 3 stars was for Thomas, the GM. my son did batting cages and the speed was much faster than posted. when I let them know, they said its a known issue. that would be a good thing to tell customers ahead of time when they purchase so the customer can choose a different speed. asked for a refund on the credit card I used and he would ONLY allow credit on the Frankies card to be used in store. very inconvenient for an out of town guest. Ashley, the
It isn't a bad way to burn some time but it is over priced. The games are good but there is no reason for them to cost so much. $10 will be gone in about 10 minutes. I sure the fact it was cold outside added to the typical amount of people inside but this place was crowded. The machine to check and add credit to your card was broken when we went, that made it even more unpleasant as you were getting ran over by all of the people that couldn't be bothered to watch what they were doing. I would encourage yo
Was so much fun. Will visit again. Hopefully this time everything will be opened. The kids had a ball.
was very fun! but our only options were mini golf and race karts. bumper boats were closed, and the other attractions were being taken down and renovated for a building being built this winter. would?ve been so much better if things were open.
Mini golf courses are great, we always have a great time.
I came with my family and we always have fun here!
Came in at 8pm and put $90 on a card to do the attractions, finished mini golf at 9 pm and the employees were shutting the rest of the attractions down, even though it's clearly stated that they are open until 10pm. We asked for the manager who said she wanted to close early and that she'd refund our money.
Great variety of activities for the family or group of friends. Love the go carts and putt putt but the water is in need of care. They have been making upgrades throughout and you can definitely see the results.
Great minature gof courses here. Skeeball and a very nice air hockey game.
We visited here when we were visiting from Florida and we had an absolute blast my kids had so much fun yes we spent an abundant amount of money but I think it was fair for the fun that they had my kids especially like the VR virtual reality Part the best I think and the bumper boats and we actually went on a slow day so they got to play Everything and didn't have to wait in lines
Got there right as it opened. Me and my brother were the only ones racing Go-Karts.
We brought our 5 year old for a night out. While we were getting ready to start the 18th home of mini-golf, the we got to witness 7 baby geese hatch! It was a really cool experience ?? The rest of the night wasn't as eventful, but the staff was great and whole place looked like it was being run very well. At the end of the night, our son wanted to cash in his tickets for a prize that he saw in the display case but they said they had run out of that one. The girl behind the counter said that they needed to g
Had a blast with the kids here. Did 18 holes of mini golf, hit the arcade, and did go-karts. Sadly the water bumper cars are currently closed, but hopefully will be back soon. We will be back for sure, great place to take the family!
This place is Awesome. This place out shine any place back home in San Antonio Texas by far! Love this place. I recommend this place to any and All. Fun Fun Fun!
Friendly staff, clean restrooms, it's everything you expect at a fun park
Thomas the manager of the Charleston store should be fired for enjoying making children cry. I guess his feelings were hurt that he had to get up out of his chair to do his job. He accused a 7 year old of cheating and wouldn't give her the tickets she was owed.
Great place for kids they have food go carts mini gold and games
My grandson's love Frankie's fun place but it's a little expensive you can burn through $100 in 2 hours they don't have packages where you can buy and play several different things everything's individual which is why we only go once in awhile
A fun place for sure!! 1 bummer though, no pinball machines anymore, that will effect how often I go!! Still a ton of fun!!
Great family fun! Good service. Lots of wonderful activities for all ages. Be prepared to spend a few dollars to really enjoy the experience.
I have been coming to support this brand for a while now! I believe close to 7 years are more.
It's a lot of fun stuff...pretty pricey day...getting very run down...staff could not care less. Also PLEASE BAN SMOKING at this family, KID-CENTERED Place including outdoors. Jerks smoking in the waiting lines outside is disgusting and just as bad as being in a restaurant with it (which is banned here).
Awesome. I'm glad there were doing security checks now
It had been a while since I had been at Frankies but I can see they have been updating everything and it looks awesome. The staff is so awesome and sweet and is always willing to help! Mini golf was fun! Wayyyy better than Charleston Fun Park!! Side note, I'm really glad that they have security to be honest. Regardless of what people say, it's necessary to have police and security on deck at entertainment establishments especially nowadays. I also like the 10pm rule which can help cut down on unsupervised
Great family fun! Going at 6:00pm on a Friday, if your able, is the best time. Not busy at all on the mini golf!
I went there with my friend after work. The best when you just want to relax and unwind. We always of course have to play a round of golf though???????????????
Excellent place to go putt putt and arcades. Will definitely come again.
Good time and friendly atmosphere. Clean facilities too.
We got the batting cages, go carts, and mini golf. 3 and under are free with an adult, 36?? and up can ride with passenger, 16 and up can ride alone. Mini golf course was nice-challenged g enough to not be all day. The batting cages you need someone there to explain how to adjust height of ball-didn't realize it till later. No one was there when we went 2/11 around 1600. For go carts-everything was except the face and eyes full of dirt, I think safety google would be appropriate or a helmet with covering on
This place is awful. They charge every game at least a dollar, and you get less than 25 tickets most games. This doesn't even have its full offers open until 5 pm. We were not locals, and this was the place dead, so we thought it was a great deal, but then we showed up and realized why... They do not even open until 12 pm. in the afternoon, which is not ideal for kids at all. What was a plus is that the place is decently clean. Staff was great. This is not a place for little kids. This is a place for teens
Very fun local arcade and activity center! You feel like you go back in time to the 80s and 90s being here. I feel like a lot of my stress just melts away and you just get to have fun here. Prices are fairly reasonable and you can enjoy yourself at your own pace. Lots to do here as well.
Pretty decent little spot for some minigolf. My "I <3 Hot Moms" shirt was a hit with both the staff and the other golfers. Hey, why were the holes warm? Also, got my butt handed to me by a whole stroke. Night was ruined, but not Frankie's fault. He's a real one.
Great service. Very attentive.
Good place to spend a couple of hours with kids. Putt putt, batting cages, arcade, go carts, and some rides...plenty to do. Pizza and some other food available. Sodas were pricy.
My family and I came today for a visit while on vacation for the kids. We spent over $50 to get on the go karts and got drinks. They have a sign in front that states if they take your order and the cashier don't give you a receipt ask for a manager and you will get a $5 game card. The cashier had a nasty attitude while taking our order. My dad informed her about the sign that they have and that they have to honor it and they didn't want to honor it. The black girl with the long braids and glasses was very r
the frankie?s staff was so helpful when my goofy ahh lost my phone going too hard on the go carts! they vigorously sought the course until my phone was found. when i was putting it up on the putt putt course they called my sista and we had a happy ending! not only that but the ticket people were very patient with my goofy ahh friends who took approximately 30 minutes to pick out their toys! thank u frankie?s staff for the kind and generous service! ??????
We went to Frankies to play mini golf with our grandkids (5&12) and we were not disappointed with the course we chose. There were plenty of challenges for everyone but not too much the youngest and the course was beautifully maintained. I would highly recommend them for mini golf.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
