We come to Frankie's Fun Park every time we visit family, and my kids absolutely love it! They have a large selection of games, and while some machines don't always seem to work, there's still plenty to keep everyone entertained. The go-karts are by far my kids' favorite ? they have a blast every time. No matter your age, there's always something fun to do here. It's a great spot for family fun!
It was a great time here. We went through the week, so it's not crowded at all. The lines were short, they had so many games. The racetrack was really fun. It wasn't too expensive. It was your average arcade gaming anywhere from a dollar to 5 dollars per game. Racing was only like $8 each. And you got like three or four laps around, which I found that fair pricing, very clean. They have a small cafeteria type restaurant. Serving hamburg's,chicken, pizza, pop, beer, slushies and more. We were traveling from
Place was a blast! Took the kids there for a fun day but this place would also make for a really fun date night! Fun for all ages, couldn't get the kids to leave.
Great place prices are very reasonable was really surprised of how much everything cost. Like this place.
I had a blast with my children and niece. The food was really good, pricing is reasonable. I had a 12, 9, and 5 year old we had so much fun! I was able to ride my 5 year old with me in the go carts. Games were easy and friendly. Bathrooms were clean, and although it was a busy Saturday I'd go back!
We visited on a Sunday afternoon around 12:30 in July. There weren't many people there at that time but the crowds showed up by 2:00. The air conditioning was just what the doctor ordered. There are a wide selection of action games and redemption games ranging from $1 - $3 per play. We tried the batting cages but never saw the first pitch because it wasn't functioning properly. We did get our $3 back. The slick track was a lot of fun at $9 per person. You must be over 16 to drive in the slick track. We play
We loved the place it was fun and reasonable price. Loved the go karts
It's definitely better than Dave and Busters, in my opinion. Way more to do, plus they have a putt putt course and a go-kart course. This is definitely a must visit place if you are in the area.
My family and I had so much fun! There's so much to do here, it's a really great way to spend your day!! Mini golf was amazing, it looked so pretty and was such a nice course. They have batting cages, an arcade, race cars, laser tag, an amusement park ride, $10 mini golf, and food!
This place is fun. The games are a little pricey but they have mini golf which has the most beautiful.course ever! Its only $10 per person. You can get a refill.card here to use another time and when you play games and dont see tickets coming out the card rexorda your tickets so u can always check your balance. They also have go carts, bumoer boats ,and a dark ride , laser tag and more!!
Good family fun. We had fun for hours and our littles enjoyed being able to do so many things all in one place. We played in the arcade mostly and rode the go karts. My 4 year old was tall enough to ride, so he had a blast! The pizza was so good I barely got a picture of it before it was gone! Overall, highly recommend.
What to do with your husband on Friday the 13th? We decided to go miniature golfing. We played course number 2 then paid for #3. This is the cleanest miniature golf course we have ever played. Just to see the gardens, water features and buildings around the course is worth the price. We will be back.
Best place if you want to hangout with the kiddos or other adults that like to be competitive. We loved the Race Course went on it a couple times. Just becareful when behind another cart you'll get dirt in the face. Also did the putt putt it was fun just your normal thing. Has a few courses to choose from that tell the history of SC. Arcade was a blast, suggest staying away from the candy claw machine. Very addictive but my 13 year old won 6 different chocolate bars after 11 tries later ?? ??. Very clean, g
3 great putt-putt courses with some pretty challenging holes. By far the nicest courses we have played. Turf looked brand new. Batting cages, laser tag, and go kart tracks all for pretty decent prices. Everybody had a blast, and we can't wait to go again.
It was a good experience coming here for family fun. It's a bit overpriced to play the games and the prizes are lackluster but can't expect much from arcades these days. Something to do I guess but it could also use more shade outside and hand sanitizer stations.
Arcade games, go carts and all the other things they have to offer are great. Staff in the cafe are terrible. The girl behind the counter could not even be bothered to say hello when I approached. Literally had to ask if they were open for her to acknowledge me.
Overall, it was a fun experience. Just gets pretty packed, which causes some employees to become irritated, which i get. Batting cages were down, and I was looking forward to hitting a couple, but go karts were up and running along with the new mini Rollercoaster. Won a couple stuffed animals, but there's a few machines to stay away from. If you want to take your kids out for a good time I recommend it.
Surprised yet okay with the fact they have metal detection wands at the entrance. "We're here to have fun!" is what I thought as I walked in. Also, they check bags so if you're there for something else...think twice! Rides and Games are paid for with a card that money is preloaded onto at the register. There are no deals for unlimited play. Make sure to bring your whole paycheck, lol, bc Frankie's gets expensive! Especially w/children that would like to try a particular game/ride more than once. On another
It was kinda empty but, I went with my brother for his birthday(his friend tagged along to) and we had fun. I recommend the go kart it's fun!
Wow what an amazing place. We came down to do a suprise visit for see our nephew and brother in law and the kids had a blast. I was thinking that it would be crowded since it's the summer but it really wasn't. It's a Frankie's were we stay at in nc but never been to it. Now we will most definitely visit the one here. But the staff was respectful and helpful. Fun place to visit
Frankie's Fun Park is a much appreciated visit on a very hot day. We did a round of miniature golf before the heat ??. Inside there was a great variety of electronic and skilled games. They also have laser tag, outdoor racing track, baseball hitting cages and a restaurant. We had a great time ??
Frankie?s grill staff extremely rude and unprofessional! No hello , smile , or acknowledge of you in any customer service! Seriously go home get a different job! You are at a place surrounded by families and child of all ages put to have a good time. I hope I find a manager before leaving tonight! On a Saturday night. Food was way too expensive and not even that good. Don't plan to be back.
I had one of the best experiences here would definitely return what a blast
Great for kids over 5. We did go carts which was fun, and the arcade games are always great but I did find it hard to enjoy with so many people there on a Saturday. I would recommend going on a weekday where it would be less crowded.
Frankies was always fun, I hate they took out the play area for the kids... that was the best thing they had for them to play in! I do understand Covid had a lot to do with why it was closed, but still.. the prices are still about the same. The outside attractions is really what brings people in.... to add on to this, we went there last year and was turned around because some of the children in my party were under aged, even though I was a responsible guardian. ... The staff was really rude. They were disr
Fun place to bring your family. Plenty of games to play, plus mini golf, laser tag, etc. Prices are decent, I wish they had an all for one price but they don't (not including the arcade obviously). We will be back someday!
What a fun time! Played a few games in the arcade, then had a blast on the go karts. Long lines went reasonably quick. Plenty of staff moved it along. Prices were reasonable, too. There's also a batting cage, bumper boats and a great looking mini golf course. Looking forward to trying those next time!
Frankie's was a fun experience, but I have to agree with other posters, it IS a bit expensive. That's the only downside, because the service, staff, food and rides were all great! I saw several staff members wiping down the motor cycle rides while we were there. A quick glance at the bathrooms revealed that the trend continued out there - they were clean! There was a good bit of activity, when we were there, although it was a Monday around 1-3 pm. The pictures will make it seem empty, but the shots are inte
My grandsons had a great time. On future visits they would skip mini golf and just stick with the go-karts. One of the three had a faulty laser tag gun and was quite upset. However, Frankie's credited all three.
Had a fun day. Go carts were good and the staff manning them did a great job. Mini golf course is a little basic and needs a slight boost to get that last star from me.
Had amazing time for our boys big 13 th Staff was so helpful our son has Autism and had a little bit of a anxiety attack when he was in the laser tap but the staff recover him and he had a great time
Fun mini golf place. Some of the holes we a bit too challenging for our skill levels, but we all still had a really good time. Played courses 2 and 3.
Plenty of games go carts puttputt had a great time! Games have definitely gone up In price over the years. My 25 dollars didn't last long at all @ 2 and 3 dollars a game.
Always fun, price about $60. Includes rides, and food. They have vegan options! I ordered the imposible burger and fries. I enjoy the virtual reality game(those are my favorite). Nothing beats a few laps on the track. My, son (adult) and I had a great time. Great mother/son day.??
Super friendly staff. Clean everywhere, no trash laying around outside. Lots of fun things to do, inside and out. There's anything from the arcade, to mini golf, to go carts, food, and more. Great for any age. Had a great time with family when they from out of state.
I visited Frankie's Fun Park, the only midsize "Family Fun Center" in Columbia, and was impressed by its excellent variety of games. The prices for activities like Go-karts, Mini Golf, and Taser Tag are reasonable. When I visited on a weekday evening, I felt like I had the entire establishment to myself.
Always a fun place to visit! We really enjoyed the new games! Bumper boats were a huge hit for my 12 year old son b/c they have water guns aboard and he soaked me the entire time! ?? Great fun, especially on a hot day! Minigolf green is well cared for and adds such beauty through the natural feel of waterfalls, bridges, and gardens. Batter cage was a fun workout! We also recommend trying the 3D theatre (they call it blackout.. something) we've tried every film and we have to admit, our favorite was the wolf
The blue roller coaster broke down with my husband on it and it was HILARIOUS. A star was added for that. Great memories. The establishment was clean and the staff was friendly. Several of the arcades were broken, but with the amount of tiny terrors running around, that's definitely bound to happen so will not be deducting a star. It was a fun day out with the family!
Stopped by here for the afternoon. Fun little amusement park with activities such as mini golf, go karts, water bumpers, batting cage, laser tag, and an arcade. Definitely enjoyed the water ride and go karts, it reminded me of similar places I'd go to as a kid such as Putt Putt. The laser tag was fun, but you we needed more players to adequately enjoy it. Definitely recommend only doing laser tag with a large group. The most disappointing attraction was definitely the arcade. The prices for the arcade games
Great fun for kids and adults. So much to do. Beautiful miniature golf course. Not much for very young kids but excellent for everyone a little Older.
Freaking fun! I had a blast with my 3 kids and husband! I loved all the age friendly varietal activities! The jungle gym kept my 3 year old occupied for an hour, allowing me to regroup. We were all able to enjoy the boats, go carts, golf, claw games, and dining. The prices were reasonable for the amount of time allowed per activity and ride. My family won on the master lock game, 1600 tickets! We also won a giant penguin on the giant claw. Incredible time, but the employee at the jungle gym was miserable
Great place for a few hours of fun. We played a round of mini golf and it was fun but there are very few obstacles and the same hole setup is just repeated over and over on all three 18 hole courses. There are 3 types of go carts and tracks each with their own rules for riders (some kids can ride alone, others must have a licensed driver). There are batting cages with multiple baseball and softball pitching speeds. The arcade is like most nowadays that runs on a card basis and tickets are won and can be
Went on a monday and it was completely empty WHICH IS PERFECT! No wait on anything!! The go karts are fun and fast for the environment!! The VR rides are awesome and scary!!
Fun place for older kids, lots of games and rides and go carts!
Lots of games the kids enjoyed playing. We took the water bumper boats for $9/person and the grandkids absolutely loved it. The games for the kids were fun but expect to burn up $40 in a hurry. Each game provided winner points the kids could cash in for small items. The kids had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa so it was well worth it.
Visited from out of state and saw this on a ?things to do in Columbia? list and it was definitely worth it. My daughter as well as me and my boyfriend had lots of fun! When did the mini golf, laser tag, a few games, and the fun house. It does get very pricey however so be prepared to spend at least $50-$100. There is a food court there if you get hungry.
If you like 3D games, outdoor fun, and yummy treats, this is the place for you! The kids and the adults had a blast! It is expensive depending on the games you play, but it's a fun time for everyone! These is a machine to help individuals who are wheelchair bound get to the lower level.
Me and my family have always had a good experience with the Columbia and Charleston locations. It has been our birthday tradition and will be for years to come.
Great look outside the park, very nice and clean. Everyone is helpful, there is handicap/stroller accessibility everywhere. And hand sanitizer stations! You put money on a card that you swipe to play games. And it keeps track of your tickets. Very easy with kids. You can also get a lanyard to hold the card so it's not lost. There are little kiosks to use to add more money to the cards and to check ticket/available balances on the card as well. Super fun, very affordable. We are having a great time! You sh
Kind of expensive. Most of the arcade games cost 2$ each and lasted 30 seconds. I paid 150$ for arcade games, which lasted an hour max. Rides outside weren't open, set up, or available, which was disappointing. It was 82 degrees outside, and they didn't even have bumper boats open. Maybe 5 people in the entire building on a Tuesday 3-6 p.m. All of the claw machines are set up for failure and don't close all the way. Prize counter was crazy. It's impossible to get many tickets, so prizes are not good. Bouncy
Half of the park was shut down (coasters and batting cages) but minigolf was up and the arcade was packed. Minigolf was difficult and fun and they have three different courses which adds a lot of variety to it. We didnt play at the arcade because of how much the games were but there was a lot of variety.
Ive been going to frankies for years, the golf-carts are my only issue. Yall really need to give people eye-goggles when getting on those golf-carts. I literally just started to make my way around the track 1 time and theres so much black stuff in my eyes, clothes, and hair!!!! Its that damn rubber from those tires or something but my dad also had like 6 peices of black stuff floating around in his eye and he had to go to the bathroom and get every single piece out of his eye, he spent about 10-20 minutes i
Frankie's Fun Park was awsome! When we got there we got our cards and ran off to go play games, mini golf, laser tag, and drive go karts. You can buy food with the money on your card and pay for the games and other activities. I spent most of my time at the Go karts and raced my friends alot. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the drop tower was closed and so were the bumper boats. You also have to be 16 with ID to go on the drifter go karts.
It was so fun but some of the stuff was kinda like of not worth the price like there was a giant claw machine and eveytime it got to the top it let go and it was 3 dollars everytime. I didnt get to go on the go karts or Rollercoaster ( drop tower ) or any of the outdoor activities but my friends did and they said it was awesome! So fun definetly recommend just make sure to bring anough money because it goes by so fast!
I had a great time there me and the kids! We had a lot of fun playing the games and riding to go cars!
We had a lot of fun. They had enough games and rides for a good time. We also sat and had food, which was good. I am giving for stars because the golf course is not handicap assessble. Also, you must ride around outside to the lower level or call management to lower you in an old school lift if you need an assessblity aid.
Covid ruins everything. ?? party for grandson 3rd birthday. Then a night cap at Frankie's . It seems like a really great place when a global pandemic not happening. Games the whole family can play and cars a three and five year old really enjoyed. Bathroom wasn't awful and service was polite. Felt safe not pressured with patrol car stationed in parking lot.
Great prices, solid mini golf, and a great arcade selection including several VR games. Only gripe is I wish arcades in general had a greater number of hand sanitization stations per arcade machine; I could only find them in the dining area.
Awesome atmosphere with good customer service. Prices to play not too bad either. Only con is the wait for food after you order, the food quality is good though.
Ok, not kidding, they have the best pizza in Columbia-I was shocked! Also, the property is super clean and the landscaping is pure luxury . Will be back!
My boyfriend and I had a great time. We got on the go carts, the batting cages, Played basketball, and we also played some arcade games. It was a beautiful atmosphere inside and out. We also enjoyed some food from the food court.
Love Frankies we met my Oldest Grandaughter there with her Aunt Savanna. Monday in the middle of the day with only a few kids was so peaceful. New Games like Monopoly, Dodgeball. The VR Motion Ride with the Canyon Ride is my Fave. Then the Air Hockey table and Skee Ball. We loved the Dirty Nachos .
We went here to celebrate our son's birthday and had the best time. The staff was very kind and considerate with us and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the arcade games, putt putt, and riding go karts. A very fun place to go with kids and reasonably priced and clean.
It's been years since we took the kids to Frankie's.It brought back memories!!! I even joined the grandkids for Laser tag!!! They played basketball, tried the batting cage, raced the cars, dropped down from the sky lift!!! It was really a fun night!!!
The weather was really nice so we decided to have a family day out. I had never been here before so this was a first for me. I must say this is a decent place. They have a mixture of things to do. Inside and out. Go kart tracks. Putt putt golf. Water ride(which is closed for right now( an amusement park kind of ride. And a batting cage. The batting cage at about 8 or 9 cages. With speeds up to 80 miles. But only about 6 were operational. And the top speed available was 50 miles an hour. Inside they had a
Nice place, but some of the workers need customer service training badly! I asked the young lady at the putt putt golf, since it was our first time there, what were the rules, etc....I got the deer in the headlights stare. Then I saw the rules to the left....and said, no worries there they are. The girl looked at them and then said, "Oh yeah." Another worker was so engrossed on her phone that she completely ignored our request for help at a basketball machine. So we asked for help, a little louder! When she
Just wanted a nostalgic moment, I use to come here when I was younger of course the games are better now but you cant beat the classics. Laser Tag, Put Put and of course the go carts. I enjoyed myself and I will return soon to live in my childhood once more to remember what once was my life. ???????????????????????????
Good place for the kids to see shiny lights and use energy for the day! Did not try the food. As the weather gets warmer ; next time we will focus on the outside activities.
We are basically regulars. Such a great place to have a fun! The roller-coaster was exciting and we won some toys from the crane games!
Great place to enjoy kart races.....arcade games, mini golf, laser tag...etc. As well as place to eat..family fun. We come her alot...love the karts.
The place wore me out, but the girls had a blast!
I truly enjoyed this fun park. I can't wait to go back. I just felt so free.
Place needed some updates. The exterior doors needing paint. Had a great time though.
So much fun after the Fort Jackson graduation ??
It was very enjoyable going to Frankies. For a Sunday it wasn't too busy. We played arcade games and putt- putt, and the arcade games have been updated, which was nice to see and have. A little humid, but all around a great Sunday Funday!
No one cleaned or sanitized the dining tables the entire time we were there(2hrs). No one swept. The area was trashed. There were plenty of workers behind the counter and in the kitchen. But apparently no one wanted the job of cleaning tables and making sure the dining area was suitable for incoming guest.
Grandchildren had a great day
Fun place to let the kids have fun. Even the adults have fun. Cheaper than Dave & Busters. Haven't eaten their food, so can't speak on that. But it's usually well kept, bathrooms have been not so clean a time or two but that's due to the customers. Never really had an issue with any games and if there is the staff jumps right in to help.
Really fun. Today '' Field Trip' the kids were great '' but the adults were rude standing in the
Big winner at Frankie's fun park. Mini golf was challenging great course and my son had a blast at the arcade
We love Frankie's, but this last visit was even better. They have updated a lot of their games and it was fun being able to play different ones! Plus this was my almost 2 year old's first official visit and she had a ball!
Loved this place!!! Top of the line arcade and you should definitely try the go carts they're so fun and surprisingly fast! ??
Not what is advertised. There was no bumper boats. The icy machine was broke for most of our visit. The service girls all were not friendly. The mini golf attendant was not friendly. We played mini golf that was not interesting. We rode in the go carts which was fun. No worker made sure the straps that hold you in were correct. We rode the drifter cars. Most weren't working. The attendant was not nice. There were some guys that were loud and trying to cut in line. There were alot of kids inside the arcade c
It's was an ok place. Seems to stay pretty busy. The line for the go-karts was always long.the picture I attached is of the kids track. Their arcade was very a decent size, lots of games to play. Didn't bother to try their concession stand since the line was always long there too. The members of staffed I interacted with were very helpful, and pleasant.
Nice neat clean. Should have fans and H20 misters in trees on mini golf courses. Games don't give many tickets unless you hit jackpot. Food was good, but fires were cold.
The food has gotten better...since my last visit. The games are kool, had a blast on Go-karts.. Was a Christmas gift to my nephew.. got pre-loaded cards in advance..
Lots of arcade games and some activities, a few rides and go carts. Fun atmosphere!
Had hours of run, even with my one year old. My entire family... mom, brother, me, my 10year old, and 1year old. Very helpful staff also, even with them seeming to be under staffed, every employee that I encountered was so helpful and kind.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
