Reviews Summary

Overall, reviews are mixed with many praising friendly staff and fun bowling experiences, while others criticize poor customer service, high prices, and maintenance issues (broken games, sticky bowling balls). Food quality varies—some enjoy wings and pizza, others find it overpriced or subpar. Temperature control is a recurring complaint (too hot/humid). Arcade games are often broken or expensive, but laser tag and birthday packages receive positive feedback. Pricing confusion and lane malfunctions frustrate some visitors. Despite flaws, families and groups frequently highlight enjoyable outings, especially with accommodating staff.

Customer Reviews

Frames & Games is a really great family spot! We have four children, ages 13 to 1?. Everyone leaves happy! We play games in the arcade and then usually we bowl! The kids love the fries and slushy drinks! A quick family night out always goes well. It's usually pretty busy on the weekend but the staff is still very accommodating and have always been patient with us, even if we need help or something isn't working like the cards for the arcade had to be replaced yesterday when we went but the staff was right i

My kids and I love coming to this particular bowling alley! I come here to bowl and the food is good too. There's also an arcade with laser tag at this bowling alley. It is always clean, and I've never had to wait for a lane. I paid extra for the vip lane, and it was worth the extra money for the comfortable cushioned booths. The food was brought to us when it was ready, which was nice and service was good. I would recommend this bowling alley to anyone with or without children.

Went to play arcade with family, $20 bought us an hour. We won somewhere around 80 tickets and those tickets bought us a finger trap and a bouncy ball.. I know Arcades are kinda dying out, but come on. $2.50 a play for 2 minutes of gameplay (average) is ridiculous in today?s economy. I recommend trying once, but won't be going back. Perfect example is the video I posted of this one game ?Wack N Win? $2.50 to hit the button with a foam hammer. One chance. I wish we had known.

The arcade was a huge disappointment. A good percentage of the games were either broken or malfunctioning, and the card readers barely worked. Staff didn't seem too concerned about fixing the issues, and the overall experience felt like a complete waste of money. Definitely not worth the trip.

When I went there, we had a group of people and we just use the bowling alley part of it but overall it was a good bowling alley. They had cool features and their service was great. However, there pretzel bites were old.

The lane was on a 190 witch means you Cant bowl because the rake is down. we had 8 minutes left in the game. And me my wife and daughter never got to bowl again.that happened twice.... in an hour,we only really got to bowl for about 20 minutes & paid $ 54 for the whole hour

They have pay by the hour or game daily specials. Loved the lanes and they had good shoes. The bowling balls are good and color coded for weight, I never seen a 16 lb. So I used a 15. They have many arcade games although some of them were over priced to play. Fun place to be if you just Wana get out and throw some bowling balls.

Great place to bowl in Savannah! The UI is new and they have fun games if you want to change it up from 10 frame 2-ball play. Bar was fine, food was fine (tried the wings) shoes and balls were fine. Would go back for sure.

Lots f broken games and the games that we're working were expensive

Came for the first time and was super impressed how organized was the Easter egg hunt! My daughters loved it! Recommend 100%

Terrible service?. An employee messed up my order and management stated they do not give refunds under no circumstances. I asked the manager do they have a corporate number and they stated there is no one to call. If you like to go somewhere that says the employees don't make mistakes than go there and if they make a mistake on your bill they will not refund!!!!!

We had a group of 13 which 10 were bowling. It's a nice place to bowl but the arcade is dirty and so many games not working. The pizza wasn't very good but the fries and the funnel cake fries were real good. I had to get another order of funnel cake fries. It's all a little expensive. But that's every bowling alley I've been to.

Perfect for spending fun time, whether as a couple with friends or the whole family. We played bowling and had a great time. Also pool tables and other different games for any age. Bar and cold beers.

Went on a rainy Sunday afternoon. I love that the bowling alley has bumpers that can go up and down automatically for each player. It makes it nice to play with kids.

We had our son's 8th birthday party here. We bought the Bowling Birthday package and it was totally worth it. The party host was amazing. She served the boys pizza and ice cream, lit the cake, cut the cake, set up, cleaned up, entered bowling names, helped with our lanes, passed out treat bags, you name it. Worth every penny & all we had to do was show up. I highly recommend Frames n' Games!

Fun place to take your family too. My nephews played laser tag, went bowling, and played games at the arcade. On the way home, all they talked about is how much fun they had.

Staff is friendly and helpful. They interact with my boys very well.

Hubby and I took our 3 kids here to bowl this morning. Wasn't busy and it was nice and cool inside the building, which we really appreciated on such a hot day. We all had a blast, even our almost two year old son. I was happy that they had small sizes of shoes to rent so that our son could participate. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back! We didn't order food or use the arcade or laser tag, so I can't comment on those.

Extremely hot need to make sure the a c is always working. As is always crowded in there. Drinks are overly priced

Came here with my family for the first time, love the big selection of arcade games. I brought a berry slushy, was pretty good for a reasonable price. The women's restroom needed some attention, there was food in the sink. other than that definitely, see myself coming back again.

Horrible service. Staff is rude. We played games today and explained the poor service to the manager. Manager didn't care.

Part of a league, so we're there every Wed night except holidays. Melissa at the bar is fantastic! ??

My second time here and the experience was even more awesome. Great family and friends spot. Definitely coming again

Great bowling setup and helpful staff. The arcade is pretty large and laser tag is there are well. Some of the arcade games are down pending repair but other than that, it seemed like a well run place.

We had a great time. As it was my daughters first bowling experience and my first experience that wasnt with candlepin bowling I had no idea if I could even manage but theres a large selection of different weighted balls and the staff was super friendly. Didnt care for the $30 per hour price tag as we only got in one game. Seemed like it should have been a little cheaper but still felt worth it to me because I never get out. If you have back, neck, or shoulder problems I would suggest asking for a lightweig

Fun bowling ally and with the ?Kids Bowl Free? summer program?.its a win!! Plus one adult for a small cost.

They used to be more on top of things, now when you come in first in the morning, there are balls in every lane not put away, garbage isn't emptied, I mean it's still a decent place to bowl but management should stay on top of issues,

We went to play laser tag for our friend?s birthday late on a Wednesday night. Best laser tag arena in the area. Destiny was an incredible employee/laser tag host. She took ultimate pictures of our group that will live on in best birthday history. And the games in the arcade area were state of the art. Give Destiny a raise, she is great.

I always love coming here because the staff is amazing. The day before yesterday, I went without any cash or a card. The staff member was incredibly helpful, allowing me to send him money via my phone so I could still enjoy my visit. We played laser tag, bowled, and even enjoyed the arcade. Later, we realized we could have used the game card. Still amazing staff, clean place, friendly feel to the place.

A fun, exciting place to hangout with friends or a date. Bar was attentive and the two ladies back there had excellent customer service skills. The rest of the team is great too, they helped me extend my game by a few minutes when our hour ran out mid-game. Fun arcade games too!

Haven't been bowling for quite awhile, so this was fun. It was rather hot in there tho. Kind of took some of the fun out of it. Esp since I have a high heat intolerance. I'm sure it's hard to cool a place like that, but I couldn't stay more than an hour bcuz of how hot it was. Even the friend I came with was dripping sweat and ready to leave. So this place is definitely not our first choice. We'll be checking out other bowling alleys.

Bowling is fine but do not buy cards for the arcade without checking if the games are working. We went there this past weekend and we bought $40 cards only to find out more than half of the games are not in working condition. We also ordered food. Jalape?o poppers are good but the fried pickles tasted as if they were cooked in old oil (not edible). No point in complaining to the staff it's not their fault most are young kids. Definitely needs improvement.

My kids had an awesome time here on their birthday. I would recommend for family day/night out.

This was a very busy and somewhat fun place. The bowling alley was the star here. The game room was not really up to par. Most of them was out of order and it looked like they've been that way for a while.

Very nice establishment, very poor customer service. Food and drinks are equally poor. Go for the bowling, games, laser tag and pool but come on a full stomach.

Good family entertainment. Clean facility with food and drink options, reasonable prices.

The bar had the best wings ever!! We were in town for my brother's 30th high school reunion & had a blast. Our bartender (the lady) was awesome and reminded us that there is no place like home.

This place is okay? we waited about an hour to bowl. The lane was good. No issues. The pizza is absolutely, HORRIBLE! The amount of business they bring in the more cheaper they get. It is very unfortunate. While waiting we played some arcade games, the basketball machine wasn't accurate in keep score, but work and was only a $1 (which I've never seen at Frames before). They have introduced some new games which were also reasonably priced and enjoyable, but I do however wish they would spend more money on mo

This is a nice place to take your kids to go bowling in the arcade, but it's best if you eat before you come there because I went there Sunday, which is yesterday with my family for my little cousin her grandmother and uncle had ordered food for the kids so I proceeded to go up there to order me something to eat and I told the lady what lane I was going to be at. She just walk over there to bring my auntie something to eat, and she seen where I was sitting at still gave my food to somebody else and told me

We enjoyed some lazer tag for my son's birthday followed by playing in the arcade. They have a smaller arcade but all the games are fun.

Bowled a total of four games. I was with one other and first started with two games but extended by two more. After the first few rounds the lights went out but that was the only malfunction we came across. I also thought it was interesting that we get an F for foul on the game board if your foot passes into the bowling lane area. It was annoying for my partner. First time seeing this at a bowling alley, but that's okay! After our third game for some reason we had to contact the front desk to get our fourth

While my friends and I had a lot of fun bowling, I wasn't entirely thrilled with the establishment itself. Wasn't particularly clean, the bowling balls were sticky and obviously don't get sanitized regularly. That said, I would like to go back and spend some time at the arcade and the pool tables.

It's bowling. The shoes were awful. They stuck to the floor horribly. They're not supposed to. Don't come on a holiday, it's a huge rip-off. The average person plays 2 games in one hour. On the holidays, they charge $20 for an hour no matter what. Big rip-off. Food. Pizza was cardboard, hard, and burnt. Nachos were unflavored and meh. The staff just sat behind the counter on their phones, and to get their attention was like pulling teeth.

Staff was kind and the family had a lot of fun.

Great place for a birthday party. Really kid friendly. Lazer tag was super fun!! Arcade game a bit pricey. Overall, we had a blast!

Pretty fun place to bowl and play laser tag. The inside has a bar and they serve some food, . When we went for a birthday it was incredibly crowded on a Saturday; I would probably recommend visiting on a weekday.

I went bowling here today with my family and had a good time, the staff was friendly, food was good for a bowling alley, we had pizza and wings , I also had a margarita w/ patron and it was good. I had read reviews prior to going which had me feeling a little skeptical about going but I'm glad I went and can't wait to go again. Also for a Friday night we were able to get a lane immediately.

Had a good time with the kids, loved the laser tag with em was really fun

It was our first time found and we really enjoyed ourselves. Upstairs had a pub and downstairs was the game's and bowling, our grandkids had a fun time.

We had a blast!!!! Family fun time! Can't wait to do it again!

Frames n Games made for some good family fun, as we took our 4 year old bowling for the first time. The place was clean and the employees were pretty friendly. We will definitely return!

Everything was great?Employees were really friendly & helpful? There were some rude people bowling down from us that needed to mind their own business instead of hollering at my 3 year old Grandson ! Always got to be hateful folks everywhere,I'll just pray for them! Thank you for the entertaiment, the kiddos so enjoyed it?

I bowl on a Wednesday night league. It is always hot in there. It is cool when you first walk in bit when everyone gets there and starts bowling It gets hot. People brings there on fans. I always bring a short sleeve shirt to change into. The staff there is great though. Very Friendly.

Don't go for the Air Conditioning or Video games, bowling OK. Goofy pricing setup, wait, what?? $27 an hour OR $3 a game during specific hours. I'm SO confused. So if I come between 12p and 1p we EACH pay $3, or is that for a whole family?? What if I pay $27 for an hour but I'm still playing my game, do I have to pay more? the nice man behind the counter did his best, but did NOT answer my question clearly, not his fault really. Place was a bit steamy and humid, like the outdoors, lanes in good shape. Pla

Half of the games weren't even working and what it seems, they havent work for like 4 years apparently. For sure a waste of money and 100% not going back there again.

Despite some mild interruptions with Lane 28 and 29, we had a blast during our time at Frames. I went with about 8 people and we bowled and played laser tag shortly after. The experience was fun ? always has been. When the lanes stopped working and a ball got stuck, the maintenance crew was rather quick to diagnose and fix the problem. While the food is mildly expensive, I cannot complain because everyone else does the same, including iMAX next store. It was good! I recommend this place for parties, gatheri

Overall decent... Saturday night gets very busy and there were no balls left to choose from on the racks which you can imagine can ruin a night if you're there to bowl

My family with 4 teens and a six year old went bowling last night and played a round of laser tag. All the staff we encountered were friendly, and Jordan at the bar was especially hospitable. The food was priced fairly and is solid especially for a bowling alley snack bar. We had a great time.

Service was terrible. All employees were a bummer and made sure you felt how miserable they were. Food was pretty good but getting a drink was like pulling teeth. Everything was ridiculously over priced for the experience we had. If we had received a smile or quick service we would?ve felt much better about dropping $100+ for this experience. Do yourself a favor and go to the new Dave and Busters.

We bowl here pretty often. We like Sunday mornings for the discount prices on individual games. The VIP lanes are nice. I enjoy the couches. The staff are very friendly. I would give 5 stars had we not had some recent concerns. Last week the approach was so slippery we couldn't even pick up our feet. The bowler on the lane next to us slipped and nearly fell. We told the staff and they did give us a towel to wipe the floor. Also, the ball returns are typically full of house balls that we need to move before

leaving one star bc i have too to leave a review, went on a sunday, was not too busy. we had 3 children, got a 50$ game card and only about 5 of the arcade games worked, it was very unfortunate that most of the games we wanted to play DID NOT WORK. it appears they only want to receive money but not put into making the business an actually functioning business, will NEVER come here again and leave any of my hard earned money. went to fun zone instead and had the most fun.

They were only selling bowling buy hour on a Sunday in which they are not busy. But when u buy by the hour you only get a game in a half. You would think you would won't your customer to have an enjoyable time. Point blank.

Ive lived in pooler and have came here to bowl plenty of times over the course of 6-7 years. Today it wasnt busy when we got in, but some dude watched me as i was looking for a small house ball and as soon as i picked it up he hounded me and told me only 1 small ball per lane, which initially i didnt understand because the lane next to me had 2 small balls of the same kind at their lane but he didn't go harass them about it. I didnt even want 2 small balls at my lane i just wanted to compare the thumb hole

Food was good. The bartender on Sunday Nov 17th was amazing. We had a great time.

It's great! Always something to do, always fun. Arcade gets something new every once in a while, and consistently has a good selection. Laser Tag simply exists, and it might just be nostalgia, but the arena is emmaculate. I haven't even mentioned the bowling yet, or it's 3 pool tables. Pop by; you won't regret it.

We had a blast so much fun and the staff was so welcoming and friendly. We may be bad bowlers but practice make perfect.

Visited for my daughters 6th birthday and she honestly had the worst time! From the overpriced games to the absolute horrible food! Pizza was as thin as cardboard and the chicken wings was overally salty and the whole experience was just a mess and not worth it! Will not be returning and the manager was very rude when we complained about the food. I would give zero stars if I could!

Great place for fun for the whole family. Even kids enjoy bowling here after 8pm.

We had a company get together at Frames n Games to just hang out and have fun, I highly recommend them! Nathaniel was very helpful on the phone answering all of my questions and accommodating our potentially large size! They made the process from start to finish so easy! A HUGE shout out to Melissa, our bartender! She was amazing, warm, and friendly! Melissa was very observant, efficient (she was working both the window and the floor with our group!) she served up some delicious mixed drinks, and was very s

Paid the extra $10 for VIP which didn't have anything more than the other lanes other than being hotter in that area. Went with my two sisters to celebrate our father's birthday

We went bowling with a large group of 50+ coworkers. The area was clean and the staff was very accommodating. We played laser tag as well. Everything was a lot of fun. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This place used to be SO MUCH better. Went for some bowling and laser tag, my group was the only one playing laser tag at that time. they charge you $13 per person (if I'm not wrong used to be cheeper back in the days), they make you watch this 2-3 min video to explain how the process works without much info besides how to use the ?gun? although does not explain how put the vest. After the video is over we are sitting inside this dark room with no one coming out to let us know we could walk in. A min later

We had lots of fun! Really nice!

If I could give no stars I would, most machines were out of order. The employee scanning the cards with the tickets didn't even take the effort to count them wrong and gave me 200 less tickets than I had. I had purchased and played in the arcade with 2 different cards and got multiple tickets on both but once scanned they said I didn't have no tickets available on them. I informed the manager(foreign) guy and he said sorry there nothing we can do about it. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Do not recommend.

We had fun, employees were friendly and nice.

Absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced! Dirty! Becky who claims she is the manager is unprofessional and degrading! My family and I were having a difficult time locating a ball that my 10yo could bow with. The staff stated they are short staffed and do not have the time to help us! Our lane time had already been 20 min running and we are still looking for balls not being used! They were not at all accommodating and u willing to restart our time or issue a refund!

Not a pleasant experience. Their customer service is horrible and the lane seating leaves a lot to be desired. Also, when I complained about the nachos because the chips were stale, I was told that all sales were final. Their manager stated that they're not a restaurant and refused to exchange them for something else. I would never come here again. I understand it's a bowling alley and not a five star restaurant, but all I wanted you still expect to at least eat decent food while bowling with the family.

Went on a Saturday around 3:00 and played in the arcade it was not busy at all I guess everybody goes to the Dave and Buster's now but we had a good time.

I have never had a bad experience here. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The place is always very clean especially the bathrooms. ALWAYS CLEAN. The environment is always great. Only suggestion I would add is a jukebox where you can pay to make the music selection. Besides that this is a great family place. 10 out of 10.

Nice place to take the kiddos. We didn't bowl because our teenage girls were not interested, but we did do the laser tag twice! We had an awesome time! There's a nice food area, arcade, and an adequate amount of bowling lanes. We went on a Saturday afternoon around 3:30 and the crowd was not overbearing.

We did the arcade and laser tag. Games are way over priced in my opinion. Two 20.00 cards went pretty quick. Some games weren't working and if they were your chance to get tickets didn't seem that great. Not my favorite place. I'm happy it wasn't packed like last time I went. That wasn't enjoyable at all.

Hadn't been bowling in years. The lady that rented us the shoes and lanes was really a nice lady and had a big sense of humor. Keep these people around, she made us want to come back. Overall seems to be a nice place, given it was mid week during the early day.

I went on a Tuesday night and was greeted by Natalie and Tyson and they helped explain to me how playing by the game and by the time work (by the way bowling by the game is the way to go) . We got settled at our lane and decided to take a look at the menu and they had so many options! They were short staffed so Tyson was also working the snack-bar that night and we took his recommendation for the meat lovers pizza and sweet chili wings and they were delicious. Justice , the bartender, was very sweet and he

The bowling: quite a few lanes but it can get really cramped quick. Go early if you want any elbow room. They have different types of score cards which helps change the pace of the game or games you play. The arcade is hit and miss. *IF* the games are working its a lot of fun. Unfortunately everytime we've gone, around half the games are broken or out of service. Kind of puts a damper on the experience when you drop $50 on a play card and then see half the games don't work. ??????? The food is decen

Wanted to come a few times before posting a review! You should DEFINITELY go on a week day before 5pm. They have great deals and a lot more space to enjoy without it being so congnested with people. The food was surprisingly AMAZING ? I suggest their buffalo wings! They are addicting. Great and friendly staff, clean facilities, and overall just a great place to hang out and bowl!

This location is off by itself away from the busy Pooler traffic. The staff was attentive and busily working. We did however have a problem on our lane and it took a moment for someone to realize it. The food station appeared clean however their health score was a 73. Restrooms were neat and clean. We had a really good time.

Great bowling alley for the whole family, especially for kids. They have pretty decent food as far as bowling alley food goes. The arcade is a big hit with the younger kids, but the teenagers were not impressed. This place has always been clean and felt like a safe atmosphere every time I've went. I recommend going there and grabbing a few drinks and having a great time at a reasonable cost.

Went to take my children to the arcade and we really enjoyed it. The games are mostly in working condition and lots of choices. The kids had a great time. The only real complaint was there were some staff that were decidedly unpleasant that even the children noticed. We did not have any unreasonable requests or anything, just seemed to be in a bad mood.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
