Nice pinball selection! Great way to kill an hour for $10.
Very fun place. Nice selection of older video games. Good place to go for kids or adults.
My son and his friends had the best time here! Perfect place for all ages to have fun playing a huge variety of games such as skee-ball, Pac-man, pinball, etc. Jermey was so accommodating and welcoming! We will definitely be back!
Awesome place for a birthday party! Brought 8 kids for a 12th party. So much to do, they especially loved the gaming room and skee ball! Definitely a hidden gem of Roanoke.
Quiet a few pinball and retro arcade cabinets. Great set up!
I like to go here on Sunday, for the all you can play for $15. Worth every penny.
I've passed this place probably 100 times and always told myself I needed to check it out. This Saturday I did! $10 Cover for an hour of unlimited play (except prize machines). Was super fun being able to play Pinball without having to use Quarters. A few of the arcade machines seemed not to be working completely right, but overall, we had a great time. Can't wait to see how this place grows and thrives!
Took me back to my youth! Play all day for 1 price. Something for everyone in the Family, we'll be back!
Awesome laid back place lots of variety!! Skee ball and some other arcade racing games and combat games, gent behind the counter was nice! Pay for a hour or for the day will be coming back!!
This place is amazing!!!! Play all day for one price. Some places charge you 1-2$ per play and can get expensive quick. Lots of pinball and arcade games to choose from. You can also rent the place out for parties ??. We always have a good time when we visit.
This is an awesome place to have a fun time! They have an epic variety of gaming from brand new to rare old ones, even some super unique ones! The pinball selection is wonderful, the arcade cabinets are taken care of nicely, and the extension into some console gaming turned arcade mode is a blast as well. Enjoyed the air hockey table on the far side once we got back there playing games on the way. If you are planning on hanging out a bit, make sure you get the one price fee. There is too much stuff to limit
I had the opportunity to buy a couple of decommissioned games from Floyd?s arcade, and am exceptionally happy with the process from start to finish. Open communication, products as advertised, and working well. Here to voice my support for the business 100%!
My son, and I had a great time there today!! Air hockey, many pinball games, ski ball, racing games. Party room was busy, which is multi-player online games matches. Still honestly we had a great time will be going back again!!
Highly recommend if you enjoy pinball machines! Great value and you pay to play by the hour!!
I like the pay by hour or whole day method. Ive been to quarter play arcades and it eats your money up quickly, at Floyd's you play as long as you like one money. The owner and employees are very knowledgeable about the pinball games and helped me with how the modes work on certain games. A nice selection of pinball games new and old.. Drinks and snacks available for cheap. Great experience all around, will visit again soon.
This place is awesome you pay 10/hr or 15/day and then the machines are all set up on free to play so you get way more then the entrance fee moneys worth in gaming. They have a lot of pinball machines, skiball, arcade games, a fortnight room, and a Nintendo switch set up, and they have air hockey and a hockey version of a foosball table. Was definitely well worth the price my children and I had a blast.
Today was my first visit to Floyd's although my husband has spoken highly about it for a while now! I enjoyed our time there today and definitely will be back. The owner is very nice and down to earth. Great machines old and new. We also learned he has VR games so I'm sure we'll be checking those out soon!
Great place! We went to celebrate a birthday for a 14 year old. He loved the retro games! Very very friendly staff and incredibly reasonable prices!! We will absolutely come back!
Great local place to play all sorts or old school pinball and arcade machines all set on free play
Easy to find and staff was freindly. However, location was cramped and selection was smaller and quite different than portrayed online (several pics of games were not a part of the lineup). Worst part though was the place smelled like a sweaty gym locker. The condition of the building was extremely old and needs renovated badly and theres not enough room to social distance at all.
I was very excited to learn that this place was opening right down the street. What an amazing local collection of Pinball and Arcade games! Our family really enjoys stopping in and playing for an hour or two. Jeremy is a great guy and you can tell he is very passionate about his games and your experience playing them. Everything is in great condition, and they even have a Playstation gaming room in the back. I am a huge pinball fan, and there is a nice selection here. Jeremy frequently changes out the game
Literally so much fun. I was going to stay for like and hour and just have fun, but it quickly turned to three hours and I lot more fun than I planned. Ski ball is so much fun here and was my favorite. I highly recommend to go to this place.
Hands down one of best places to play pinball or old school games. For $15 all day or $7 on Saturday one of the best places. For me it top 3 places to play at even know today was my first time ever being there.
This place was great! Especially on a Sunday $7 all you can play. You can't beat that anywhere! very nostalgic for those of you who grew up with NES super NES and a lot of those gaming systems. We'll definitely be back!
Jeremy has provided a very nice arcade for our communities. I spent countless hours in the 1980's and 90"s in arcades. Walking into Floyd's brought back memories seeing games I played and hearing the sounds of an arcade. Paying a single price to play all you want is a fantastic idea. Gone are the days of coin changers and tokens!!!! Just hit play as often as you want. Jeremy is very knowledgeable about all of his machines and enjoys explaining playing techniques and game history. Each time I have gone to F
Went to check out the place. Lots of pinball machines. They have other games too. It's $10 to play for the hour or $15 for the day. It's all free play. It's a small place but lots of games. Staff is nice.
Floyd's Arcade is worth the drive everytime. They rotate the machines on the regular, creating a new experience each time. The environment is always positive and welcoming.
Great owner, great fun. Machines are in excellent condition and ready for some big scores! They also do top notch repairs and restoration work for fair prices.
We had a birthday party for my son. It was a blast! Super fun, great prices, and the owners are amazing! We will absolutely be going back!
Will return again and again! Great games, and great service! If you don't see a game you like, tell Floyd to look into it! He is very accommodating, and friendly! Floyd?s FTW!
Great place to play some games with the family. This place is definitely a diamond in the ruff. The atmosphere is upbeat and relaxing...
It was such a fun place to go on a date night with my husband. Staff was very friendly and reasonable price. Definitely going back again
Awesome place! Tons of pinball games, air hockey, arcade games! Great value and super accommodating! Will be back for sure!
Very cool arcade. Pay one price and play all you want. How great is that??!! Neat assortment of games. Old arcade video games, pinball, console games and even air hockey and VR!!! Will go back!

Great place to take the kids or a fun time for adults. Plenty of pinball games to have a good time.
My 10 year old grandson has been coming for a couple years when he is visiting from Colorado and loves it!!
Neat place! It has lots of old nostalgic arcade and pinball to play. Plus an area with ps4 and much more.

My son and I absolutely love this
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
