Customer Reviews

Usually get good food and service, but not today. Was here at a relatively slow time (1:30). It took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Beers were warm. Ordered one of the specials....fish and chips... and it was positively flavorless. I asked the server if it was frozen. She said she did not know, she'd tell the kitchen... and then never checked back. Worst meal and service I have seen in a long time.

I love this bowling alley, I enjoy the food I enjoy hanging out here, today the pull tab lady shorted us one pull tab when we purchased $50 in pull tabs. When I mentioned it she just shrugged her shoulders. Most likely it was an accident, maybe it wasn't. Double check what you're getting.

We went for some arcade fun! Nice selection of games and prizes. Also had some appetizers! We tried a new one, buffalo cauliflower bites! They were amazing! Worth the stop just for them!

Lanes are great pro shop is pretty solid. Some knowledgeable people working the pro shop. Do recommend if you need a new ball or need a ball drilled. Don't be afraid to ask them questions

Very busy. They seemed to have the event (Girl Scout Cookie Rally) run smoothly. Prolly could have used more workers when handing put shoes, but otherwise everything was great! The lanes are clean and just the right amount of oil or whatever it is on the lanes. I like the electronic score keeper. I think most have that now but you can set bumpers per player so they're not up for everyone. Nice.

This place is the most horrible place I've ever visited, not only are the waiters bitter and dirty! They are not welcoming at all! We were a group of 4 black women and ordered the food... one of us didn't like what she had been served at all and let the manager know that she didn't like it! The RACIST manager that he is completely refused to change the food when she had not touched this food at all... the manager forced her to pay for this food that she had not liked, not to eat, or take it home!!! They we

When the apocalypse happens, this is where I'm taking shelter, they have everything. Good food, bingo, games, pull tabs, bowling. Love this spot!

Went to watch grandson bowl and had a awesome, reasonably priced breakfast, the next Saturday, went into the bar to get something to drink and the bartender walked past me 2 times and totally ignored me to wait on the "regulars". I left and won't frequent the bar again!!

A nice local establishment with pretty good food, lots of bowling lanes, a proshop, bar (with bingo and pull tabs), and moderately sized arcade. Prices can be slightly high on some items. It can also be challenging getting a lane reserved. Flahertys fiercely guards their league days, and even to try to get a lane for kids can be very difficult.

Called ahead to reverve lanes on Thursday because their webpage says you can reserve lanes til Thursday. They then informed me you could not reserve lanes after 12 on Thursday, which was not stated on their webpage. When asked if lanes were available for the next day. They said lanes were available; however, when we showed up to the lanes, they said all the lanes were taken for league bowl on Friday nights. This was not communicatiled to us day before. Employees were not helpful and had horrible communica

It's a great bowling alley to begin with but all it took was the guy behind the register to ruin it all. How are you going to let a person get a lane that's not "cosmic" and deny me right after i asked politely. But was denied and refused, the cashier didn't mention one thing about those lanes being reserved, but I was just denied with a quick statement " sorry I have to fill up these lanes first" which were the cosmic lanes. After paying 50 bucks and finishing my 1 hr game on the cosmic lanes. I pack up an

Had a wedding after-party here and was able to rent the back room to enjoy time with many guests. Thank you to the Staff that made this event possible for the bride and grooms big day! The mixed drinks were amazing! Bowling is always fun

Had a great time! The staff had fast service and were friendly. You pay for your lane by the hour and can get shoes for a good price! We had some decent cheese curds and chicken tenders along with some drinks. The vibe was very chill, and we didn't feel rushed. You can make a reservation for Fri - Sun, but it must be made by Thursday. Overall, Flahertys was clean, efficient, and fun!

The alley itself was fine, the rest however, was horrible! We went during the day so that might have something to do with it. The pizza was super greesy, no refills for a $3 pop, no meal deals, and worst music ever! The music was probably from the 60s and was so slow it almost put the kids to sleep!

This is our favorite. We have been going there for years for the gas, and the other people that work there just tripping and they have the best pizza in town.

Great food & service especially since the bartendeder did not have a server!

Fun place. You can host a party in the party room with your own bar just for the party.

Went there to meet some friends and it was customer appreciation day, so it was quite busy but we were able to find a table. Good pizza. I wish it would have cooked a little longer. We would have enjoyed it more. Looks like a great neighborhood place, and a good happy hour

Xavier is amazing. He is attentive and cleans up. He's a great person and funny and nice.

Great center, all synthetic lanes and approaches. Staff is A-1

Adam, his Father and the entire crew at Flaherty's run a well-oiled machine! I'm almost 62 and I spent my 18th birthday there. They are very good at what they do and they've done it for a very long time. Rented their downstairs for our family Christmas last year and had such a great time did it again this year. Got a great deal on the party room, open bowling and pizza. We all love this place and we have a big family! Thank you Adam and Crew!

We were here for a children's birthday party. Nice staff and a big, clean party room. The bowling was fun but wish they had more ramps. It appeared they only had 3 for the whole alley. Otherwise it was good and nicely updated keeping to its traditions. Their pizzas, half on on Wednesdays, are the best! The cheese and sauce they use are hard to beat. It is the best kept secret in town. We also love the coaches, Craig and Tom. Nice guys who offer a lot of good tips. We will join a league when we have the ch

Best pizza around! Love the $2.00 off (fresh, never frozen) wide variety hamburgers for limited time period on Tuesdays. Very well maintained building and lanes and restrooms. Restaurent good place for a good meal with full bar. Want to get a group together and need a space? Call for room sizes offered.

The meat pizza was delicious, not greasy, and the service was great.

Fun atmosphere, very friendly staff, and a large variety of craft beers and bourbon too! Was quite pleased with the Smoked Chicken Wings! Nice crispy skin and a light smoky flavor to the meat. Deluxe Burger was very juicy and perfectly cooked. Has everything you want in a burger including TWO cheeses and bacon! My partner raved about her Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich with crispy, nicely seasoned fries. Wide selection of craft beers and bourbon too. Love the patio and live music!

I love this place, rarely do I bowl, I just get their pizza for takeout cause it's amazing. recently my takeout orders have been delayed when picking them up and this happened for the second time in a row and I spoke with the manager and he was nice enough to apologize for this happening twice in a row and gave me a $10 gift card for having to wait so long. Much appreciated to your staff!

There mommy had both of there birthdays together December /January This was there 1st bowling party and they did bowl and did really good The staff was on top of everything makeing sure that my daughter had everything she needed plus there was a nuther party right next to us I my self wow nice place and clean even restrooms I wood love to plan a party there some time I love to bowl but can't now back but when better I'm going here

I drive a school bus and had a charter bringing a group to Flaherty's bowl. I ate in the dining room the food was fantastic and the service was great

Great facility and great staff. However, needs more patio staff for nice weather or buzzers to pick up food. Bartender was amazing. Patio staff ignored me for 40+ mins. Even after I began initiating my service from the indoor bar the patio server ignored me for hour's following. Wouldn't even make eye contact.

Nice place. Clean, plenty of room, good pizza and finger foods. Bumpers for new/young bowlers. Fun for everyone!

[Update for more information] I went to this place in April. Trust me or don't, this is the best bowling place in the entirety of Minnesota. [Food] Food is so good. Especially the breadsticks. Almost like a 5 star resturant. [Atmosphere] Feels like a old fashioned bowling place, and I love it [Availability] The day we went there, it was so available that over 10 lanes were open. [Choices for entertainment] Arcade (10/10) Bowling (10/10) Everything else (9/10) [Service] Employees were so helpful. [Chance of

Loved Flaherty's! They were able to fit in our group last minute and work with us for pizzas and drinks. They went out of their way to provide us great service, bringing out things to us and discounting on shoes. Will definitely come back in the future!

Fantastic spot to kick back with some friends and bowl at a clean, new facility. Staff was friendly and the food was great.

Great outside patio with a llt of seating, bean bags and boards, cozy fireplace live music outside, great stone oven pizzas, attentive staff. There was tons of fun inside for the family at the bowling alley and arcade. Full large bar for adults. Great place all around. We will be returning.

Not a bad bowling alley but it was busy so we had to go somewhere else. I saw open lanes but a guy said every lane would be taken for a tournament, so I was a little disappointed about that.

We just had a benefit here and the staff were great. The area was setup prior to our arrival and they helped with some last minute "asks" without hesitation. I had pizza and wings and thought both were very good. Thanks Keith for squaring our group away.

Hadn't bowled in a long time, got the bug. Bought a new ball and shoes. The guys in the pro-shop were a lot fun to deal with. The bowling are top notch. The food is great. Kids had a blast

Great place for a kid's birthday party!!

I ordered a cup of Irish stew and half a BLT. The stew was tasty with lots of beef and potatoes. The BLT had plenty of bacon but was dry with barely any mayo. Our server was great!

I have been here a few times. This time happened to be customer appreciation day. The place was busy, but they seemed to have a handle on things. The food was ok. I don't know if I will go back.

Great place to bowl & grab a burger for $7-9 on Tuesdays. October 2022 update: love their veggie lovers pizza! March 2023 update: great sandwiches! May 2023: great happy hour! November 2023: Love their cheese curds! May 2024: Just stopped in for a quick drink with my mom. It was busy, and service was slow. November 2024: Great food!

Great place to bowl. Good food well oiled lanes.

If you are coming for arcade don't. They jack up ticket prices/win amounts. Look below- the bonus is 350 tickets more than the last ticket range. RIP OFF

What a wonderful place with some beyond friendly and wonderful staff. We had a great time today at my sister?s baby?s gender reveal and the staff were so wonderful to help us surprise everyone with the gender. Maintenance crew were able to so graciously help us execute our surprise. Our waiters were great and attentive, and we just had an overall great time here. Our family and friends made some really great memories today and it was all thanks to Flaherty?s staff. Thank you, thank you!

I had a lot of fun here with my husband and bestie. The three of us got a lane for an hour. They have plenty of options for bowling as well as arcade choices. They have food, including a separate dining area, but we didn't partake in that. There were lots of choices for families and kids and that's amazing for them, but for us it was more of a hindrance. We were looking for some good, adult fun and were completely surrounded by children and birthdays and such. We asked for a lane away from kids and were

We had a birthday party for my daughter here. It was our first time here and it was well run. The staff were all very helpful. The pizza wasn't great but was on par with most places that people call "good pizza" in the twin cities area so can't really complain I guess.

This is by far one of the best bowling alley here in MN. They've got a huge parking lot to accommodate many people. The building itself is super clean and their equipments are modern and up to date. I never run into any equipment failure which is a plus. Staff are always friendly and attentive. The pro shop here is my favorite in town and they take care of your fit well. Stop by if you're looking to get fitted and have a great time bowling.

Very clean and well maintained place. The restaurant inside is decent, too. They make reasonable accommodation to group or team events. My work team had a blast bowling here. The technology, the quality of balls, and the lanes were good.

Is automatic doors yes

Food and service was great. Love the Irish Stew. It has great flavor, and it does have a nice Spicy kick.

Brought my 2 young kids here & they had a Blast! Able to use the bumpers & they let them use a metal ball ramp that they could set the bowling ball on & push easily! Created a large amount of excitement & confidence in their ability to do it ?? Had good food, too! The pepperoni on the pizza is SO crispy n delicious ?? ??

This is by far the best bowling alley I have ever been too. Sure wish I lived closer.

Nice 30-ish lane bowling alley

Sorry I didn't take any pictures, I was there for a holiday party hosted by a company I worked for earlier that year, it was excellent. The bowling experience was good, the food was good, the drinks were good, the bartender was good, the parking experience was good, and there was even a whole arcade. Phenomenal.

Even after waiting for league night to end had a blast. Hit the arcade for a good time in the mean time. Bowling is a bit pricey though unless you bowl quick and has a crew that doesn't wander off

Excellent staff, from the front desk, to the bar, great experience! 10/10

We recently held a party at Flaherty's and I was super impressed with their organization, communication, and flexibility in renting the room. They made it very easy and provided a great space (and staff) for the party.

This place is a ot of fun. Me and the fiance have never been there before and decided to try it. We were able to bowl without reserving a time and the price was fair and it's a fun atmosphere. The service was good and we got a pitcher of soda for seven bucks witch was a good deal. The food was a little bit pricey but worth it. I would definitely recommend this place if your looking for a good place to bowl.

This place is huge! Clean, fun and the food is good. $3 Bloody Mary on Sunday for certain times. Would really just say they are ok for the price. Not much alcohol to them and not much flavor but other than that, enjoyed this place a lot.

I have been coming here for years and have always enjoyed my self until recently. Rude and slow bartender ignored me and literally forgot to finish filling my drink . She was to busy chit chatting for 20 min with a group at the end of the bar. Spent 100$ there on bowling, games, drinks the service should of been much better.

I've bowled here in a league and for fun, it's usually a pretty good experience. Good food too. I do wish the open bowling prices were per game rather than per hour, if you have a bigger group you'll be hard pressed to get more than 1 game in.

Nice lanes. Clean. Pro shop. Ball washer didn't wash my ball at all, so took a star away for that. Would go back.

Funpla e, great food. Love the bingo and bowling

Went here for a friend's birthday on Monday, February 6th. I didn't catch the names of who was working that night but they need to be thanked! I asked if they still did cosmic bowling and they said they normally don't do it on Mondays but they turned it on after a bit. They also somehow noticed my friend's excitement when one of her favorite bands came on, and they played several more of their songs before we left! It really made her night and it was great seeing the smile on her face, thanks for making it

Scratch Trios league is always the one thing I look forward to every summer here. Great competition but definitely need to find my hits. Hit a rock or hit the water, always a blast either way.

Had Wings and Pizza before bowling. Great way to spend the afternoon. Great unpretentious food and great service. Totally worth a fun afternoon with kids.

Just got into bowling here they have a fantastic summer pass 60 dollars for a single person and it's gotten me into bowling and the guys in the shop are extremely kind and helpful when you buy a ball they fit it to you drill the holes and you can use your brand new ball same day!

We used to live in Minnesota and when we come to visit family we always have to come for your pizza. Sorry this was my first bad experience with the pizza. Crust was paper thin with little sauce. Did you change something? We were disappointed. The bartender(our waiter) was awesome!! He had the whole place to take care of and we had 13 people!! Props to him but we all disliked the pizza. ??

Pretty good local bowling alley. This was the first time I'd been there, and other than entering thru the arcade being a little odd, it was fun. The food was pretty typical 'bowling alley' faire, and the beer list in the bar was better than I'd expected. The lanes were nice, although the shoes were hopefully coming up on replacement pretty soon. The electronic scoring was entertaining. All in all a fun evening out. BTW, if you haven't gone bowling in a few years, be prepared for a bit of sticker shock!

Went bowling with the kids on a Monday afternoon. Very friendly staff, paid for an hour of bowling plus shoe rental for 4 people, cost under $60. We all had a great time and will definitely return! Cheaper than other bowling lanes that were closer to our house as well.

They graciously hosted our holiday party and was a hit with the crew. Barb was our server and she is a delightful, protect her at all costs. Thanks again Flahertys!

We have been coming for Trivia on Mondays for a few months now. The place is very clean and the staff super friendly and helpful. Food is on the inexpensive side for bar food, drink are average. Pizzas are good, other things like the nachoes are barely passable.

It was very busy, & crowded, but they were very organized, got us out shoes, & we had two lanes to bowl with no waiting. The shoes hurt my feet, but that's just the way bowling shoes are. We had timed bowling instead of paying per game, which I was used to. This was ok. After bowling, we are at the restaurant in the building. There were 11 of us, & we were seated very comfortably at a long table, so we were able to visit. For a bowling alley restaurant, the menu had a large selection of meal choices. Also t

I have been visiting with my bf for almost 2 months now mostly on Friday mornings. 100% recommend coming here for bowling. Best staff ever and most friendly that I have encounter at bowling alleys. Also the cheese curds are tasty. Can't wait to go back!

My son had his 7th birthday party and here and it was absolutely awesome! Everyone was super nice and great with the kids. This was a very affordable option for a child's birthday party.

So much fun! There's something here for pretty much anyone. The arcade is a bunch of fun. Just something to remember though, there is bingo and bowling leagues on Fridays, so if you want to bowl, pick another day. Food is good and the customer service was great. I have been here a couple of times and I will definitely come back

I always enjoy coming here for bowling or for bingo nights. The drinks are reasonably priced and the food is good overall. Relaxed and fun atmosphere for all ages.

Went in to check it out, and was VERY impressed. Good hourly pricing on a late night, and the lanes were probably the best lanes I have ever bowled on. Never in my 14 years of bowling have I ever been so thoroughly impressed by a bowling center as much as I have been here. I highly recommend bringing friends to have an even better experience!

Good food, plentiful beer and good service. Barb takes excellent care of us each week, as she has for the last six years. A few menu changes over the past few years have taken some favorites off of the menu, but all the hits are still there.

This is an awesome place to bring the family and bowl! I brought my 2 and 1 year-old and they out the bumpers up and had a thing to roll the ball down the lane, it was great! Very clean and well lit as well! The only bummer is that the parking directly by the building is small, there is a bigger lot across the street (which is a frontage road). It just made it difficult to maneuver if you are on wheels with a stroller.

Two weeks in a row i?ve been let down by this place, Yesterday was my 18th birthday. I made a reservation on march 8th for march 10th I showed up and they said they had no reservation in their system. He put me on the waitlist and I ended leaving. I will never be giving this place my money again.

If you wanna get ripped off and pay over 50 bucks including shoes for an hour on a Monday afternoon. The place is a rip off. bowling is not charged by the games, its by the hour. With kids you might be lucky to get 1 full game in. This is a scam for them to make more money. Other places youll get a decent deal and wont be ripped off. You'll get a good deal like 3 bucks a game. There you go Flahertys, my review is 100% accurate now.

Very fun bowling alley! Great for all skill levels from a family to a league.

Been going here for years. Best bowling alley in the cities. Not overpriced like the chains (bowlero, etc). Friendly staff and the lanes are well maintained! Best part is they just did a lot of upgrades, including the scoring computers making it more interactive! Late night deals are awesome! Food and drinks are good too. Do yourself a favor, get the waffle fries :)

Staff were friendly and very helpful. The options for bowling games, like challenges or making yourself into a cartoon, were very entertaining and kept kids more engaged in the game! We didn't use the arcade area l, but there were lots of games I definitely would've played if given the time!

Visited for a work event, and had a great time! Lots of fun themes for the bowling screens, and the layout of the bowling areas was great. The pizza was good - cracker crust and super cheesy! But, the wings were the star! Just killer - super crispy and fall off the bone. I already want to come back for more.

We were all so happy having our employee party there. Very friendly staff and food was fantastic! Back room is very cool and convenient for parties! Love this place! Has everything you need!

First time here. Sat on the very nice patio. Horrible server. Extremely slow service and refills on beverages.. food was good but would of been nice to be offered napkins and ketchup

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
