DONT FALL FOR THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! My family and extended family all went to enjoy the day 4/12/25 in Rapid City. We started with Flags and Wheels because we didnt know how long we would spend here. Researching reviews I most commonly heard ?rude employees? ?bad fumes? and ?dirtiness?. WRONG, WRONG, and WRONG. ??Rude employees: Even with young kids working every single spot we could see, they were awesome. The go cart attendant was kind and quick and speaking to people in line, while also being attentive
Great place to have some weekend fun with the family. Just wish they had a bit more staff. The day we went, the poor kid attending the lazer tag, bumper cars, and reball didn't seem to get a break. But he did a great job in going back and forth getting everyone set up for the games. My family and I will certainly be returning.
Nice little entertainment facility!! Cars were new. They had regular and extreme to choose from. Laser tag was legit , good size arena. The baseball etc all looked well maintained. Totally affordable!!
I'm unsure what to even call this amazing wonderland. This Arcade-KartRacing-BumperCars-Laser Tag-BattingCages extravaganza is perfect for a day of family fun. We had heard they'd just gotten new karts too, and they are awesome. Good to see a place with gas powered kart still. The Arcade has a decent selection of games as well, as our family easily spent $30 in there alone.
Fantastic! So fun and intense. You go 45 mph and need to use brakes and skill to race. So much better the the typical pansy go carts.
Went to drive the fast go carts but didn't end up doing so. The batting cages were all we did. They were cheap and fun to try. The go carts didn't look as fun as what was on their website. The place waant what we expected.
The place from the outside didn't look real inviting. A little rundown and it was super clean inside. But we had a blast there! Had my grandson's birthday party here, nothing fancy but lots of fun
This is a fun place. The extreme go carts and bumper cars were a big hit with our crew of 4 young adults and 2 young at heart. The staff are laid back but helpful. We had a blast. The downside is that it is hot in here! The fumes in the track room were too much. Our guys ended up with headaches. I would suggest better ventilation for that part. Also, the pricing is a bit high at $6/ride. If it weren't for those two factors, we would have stayed longer.
What a great place! It's definitely a ?blast from the past? as you'll find games here that are probably now 1 of 1 lol. The laser tag is in the basement....the bumper car arena looks homemade...and the go carts are fantastic! We only did the normal carts with our kids, and they loved it! I gave it 4 stars because Joe the manager has a pretty poor attitude. The other workers are great...Joe?s service was poor and he kept complaining about having to work too much lol
After spending a few days on the road and touring sites and Parks all around the region I decided to give the kids a break. We showed up here at 10:00 and open and got right in and immediately started racing go-karts. The kids then moved on to the arcade and we finished up with laser tag and the last round of go-karting. Great crew here who is happy to help and made sure we had a good time. Don't hesitate to stop by here for some down time in the midst of a busy summer vacation schedule!
We always have a great time when we go. The kids love racing with us and all the games. I really enjoy the variety of this to do there.
Lady with dirty blonde hair (overweight, and in her 50s - sorry for the description, I wish I would have gotten her name.) manning the counter was very rude. There are plenty of other people who need jobs that would gladly give better service than her. We asked her if they had military discount and she said ?ya already HAVE a discount?? because we chose the value deal. That's not how it works. We HAD a discount because we chose to pay more for the value. There's nothing saying that if you choose the value d
This was an awesome experience. The staff was great. I stand 6'7" and had to drive a double person go kart, but it was still as fast as the single ones. I would definitely recommend flags & wheels to anyone. Next time we take a vacation here, we are definitely coming back. Wish we had something like this in my area.
Super sketchy place, it's in like some real old building by the train tracks on some back road, I have a few boys that were super excited to ride go carts but they were told they all needed an adult. This place would be great for a spook house. So disappointed ??. The bumper cars were in a super small space. Really sad we actually came towards rapid for this specifically.
A great experience overall. Liked the fact they had two types of go carts for different experience levels and adrenaline needs. The bumper cars were really fun all well. Someplace I would come back to if the opportunity presented itself.
Can I just say.....AMAZING!! You will not be bored here! From regular go carts to extreme go carts! Plus, lazer tag, batting cages, bumper cars, and a large arcade!
Went there the other day with my twin sister and my boyfriend to go (go karting) and theses older kids bumped into my sister causing her a head injury the working did not do anything to stop these kids from bumping the go karts as they continued to bump her kart while the worker was on his phone never again will I be going there
We are a family of 7. Took our 5 kids. They had a blast. Little bit of something for everyone! The staff was kind too! Thank you!
We're tourists and were unsure this was place was open when we drove up because there weren't many cars and it's tucked away a bit. But it is! We only rode the go karts while we were there, but the staff was friendly and helpful, and we had a good time.
Lots of fun glad to see they've done some renovations as some of the machines didn't work and for a Wednesday night it needed some cleaning. Go karts are the best feature!
The concept of laser tag, arcade, batting cages, and go karts is awesome. We really enjoy doing these activities with our children. However the older guy at the counter always has a terrible attitude. His ugly attitude is what ruins the fun. Also they advertise business hours but they do not honor them. They close 1-2 hours early without notice.
My family loves flags and wheels! They've got a little bit of everything, racing, laser tag, arcade.... It's easy to spend hours here
The place is pretty run down but was so much fun. Kart pricing was great. Lazertag worked great. Baseball was cool. Staff was very friendly. Thanks.
I found out about this place by googling laser tag. I really wish I would have known about this place a long time ago! There's so much more to do than just arcade games! The prices are extremely reasonable. And let's face it, it gets pretty boring for kids during the winter around here. My son and I will definitely be back.
Birthday fun for my Princess Lilly Rose, she lived it!! We will definitely come back again for the fun of it! Happy 11th Birthday Amira-Layla Rose. Good thing Mama taught you how to drive. ??
Terrible experience. Shady back alley business run by adolescence. Will not recommend to anyone!
My family and I enjoy spending a few hours here when we get the chance, we love the go carts!!!
Excellent staff, willing to accept large group races!!
Wow- great staff, fun go-cart track and laser tag, fair pricing. Our group had a blast and would definitely recommend this place!
We had a large group of varying ages and everyone has such a blast at laser tag. Staff made the process seemless even though there was a large group. Highly recommend for a good group activity. The bumper cars and go carts are also a great option.
Now this place was so much fun. I would definitely Go back here any day. Extreme go-karts was a blast and very fast?? bumper cars were fun kept me laughing the whole time I was in them, laser tag fun very fun and competitive loved it. Games were fun to and the employees were friendly and helpful. Not expensive at all
The family had fun racing here on the indoor track, although the wife wasn't happy that I was racing so competitively. Lots of fun with our two teenagers. I think we went twice in one day. My arms were a bit sore from the steering though.
Literally the best!!! It's so nostalgic for me. Fun and relaxing.
This is the best place ever and the best attraction in Rapid City! And Joe and Erik have great attitudes that added to the overall experience!!!
Had a fun time. Only did the go carts. Wesley was the attendant that day and he provided excellent customer service. This is a great way to entertain teenagers for a good price.
I love this place! Both types of go carts are super fun. As well as the bating cages and arcade area. But the most fun is Lazer tag. This is a great place to come too. The birthday party's here are always fun too.
I wish "0" stars was an option. I was extremely disappointed with the inadequate...no, the total lack of customer service. I walked in with my wife and 2 kids to ride the go-carts. I'm not sure if the young man at the counter is pathetically lazy or doesn't understand English but he didn't make any effort to help me when I told him we were there for the go-carts. I grew up in Rapid City but moved away years ago. I learned work ethic, customer service, and how to speak English... surely these are stil
Kids had a fun time! The staff was very enthusiastic and willing to help!
It was pretty warm inside. The do offer a couple of fountain drinks to purchase it is kinda expensive and i dont think their are enough employees because we had to wait to fo an activity. It wasnt busy but no employee was available because they would be busy some where else. The place aint bad but they need to get more snacks cause you get worn out playing here.
Called to ask about batting cages and specifically if they can be rented. Yes, so son and I go. Get there and go up to counter to rent and dealt with younger guy at first. Asked how much to rent cage he says ?20 for half hour.? Fine, that's reasonable I think. Attendent leaves to fix an issue. Doesn't say anything and an older man takes his place. Explain what we were doing and he takes money. Obviously not interested in informing customers about anything. Has us wait by cage and after about 10 minutes take
Great place for kids during winter. The interior is dated and could use updating
we came here for my siblings birthday, we were the only people in the building at the time. when I spoke to the lady she had such a an attitude for no reason it almost ruined our night. this behavior is inexcusable and unacceptable, if your having a bad day that's your issue, and absolutely no reason to be snappy at customers, we could've went anywhere else but we chose flag and wheels and your staff treats us poorly. do better. also 60 dollars for four people riding for five minutes isn't worth it. another
I unfortunately had higher expectations based off of the photos. The staff was absolutely amazing. But the building/activities were very run down. Bumper cars had such a small space for them & 2 of the cars were not working properly and took up quite a bit of the space to move around. Overall I will not be going back but it is nice to have an indoor activity to do during the winter.
Great fun for the entire family and so many options!
Drove an hour an a half because the website says kids under the age of 18 with a drivers license can drive the extreme go karts with parental waiver release. Get to the counter and we're told 16 years old with license minimum. CHANGE YOUR FRIGGIN WEBSITE!!!
joe is an amazing person and i rly like his service and how he runs the business around here
Family Fun! Bumper Cars, go-carts were a blast! Even got into swinging at baseballs!
Joe super awesome guy it's a good place to do all the go Karting you want.
Had my son's 12th birthday here and was so excited when there were birthday decorations waiting! I called 2 weeks in advance to reserve but was told from the super nice man up front that they usually fill up about a week prior. We bought a birthday package and not only did the kids have fun, the adults got to have fun with them. I had no hassle making the appointment, getting set up, and even had to ask to borrow a lighter (ORANGE! ??) Everyone had a blast. It was the perfect place for a December party!
Fun place to go. Decent price if you have the cash. Would recommend this placer a fun date of party place.
I've been going here with friends family and even now with my children for the last 15 years. This place is an absolute hidden gem. The owners are always warm and welcoming and the staff are always on the move.
Had fun today hitting some softballs in the batting cages! Cheap and easy to get setup.
Fun place for young and older people.
This was a cool modge podge of old and new. You can tell they really want their community to have a place for kids to play. It felt good to spend money there in support of their efforts. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I regret not getting photos but I didn't want to bring my phone in so I could just play with my family.
The building is showing its age but still loads of fun!
So much fun! The go carts were fun but The building for racing was freezing! We went the week after Christmas?BURR (the only reason for losing a star). The Laser tag was fun too. Everyone from 66 years old to 6 years old had a blast! The kids enjoyed the arcade games! And batting cages were a hit! So much variety in one place, there is something for everyone to enjoy. And the bulk deal on tickets was great!
Good place to spend a couple of hours go carting. Very reasonable. Our family enjoyed it.
This is a really fun place. I had a lot of fun and my 4 year had an absolute blast. He did not want to leave. There is a lot to do and there staff is very friendly. Prices for all activities are very reasonable. I only have one small complaint and that is that many of the ticket based arcade games were out of order.
Had a blast doing the extreme race! My inner Speed Racer was definitely coming out. I held my own as the only lady on the track...and also pulled the fastest lap ?? If you stick around after, a super helpful lil girl will give you your printed stats. They provide helmets and let the guys who had them wear their own. Definitely worth the cost and the wait.
Workers were really mean and didn't let me finish my sentence and you have to be 16 or older to be able to drive. As a customer the only good thing was the arcade. Unless you want to upset your kids DON?T COME HERE!!! You will not enjoy this experience. Don't come here for a good time come here for a bad time.
It's no good to your health when you are in the line of waiting for racing. The smell of exhaust gas stinks
The staff was very rude and extremely unhelpful. The place was disgusting and dirty and the bathrooms were even worse. Our double go carts seat was falling off and slipping away from the cart so it made it uncomfortable. The older man was very rude to my husband for asking a question and so was the blonde lady manning the counter. They did not make a good experience for us. The younger kid and the gentlemen control the go carts were very polite to us though.
Made us leave when we still had 45 minutes till closing super annoying
We went here because it was near our hotel and we wanted a break from the water park. It looked very neat online but once we got there we realized our son wasn't tall enough to drive a go-kart which was a huge disappointment. We did the regular go-karts and had a nice time. And the young kid that worked in that area was so friendly and helpful!! However the rest of the experience was pretty underwhelming. We tried laser tag and it was pretty boring we didn't even use all our time we paid for. We didn't try
Very fun, love this place
Don't know why, but I love the smell while racing around this little indoor track. A lot of fun, and good vibes.
Race on the extreme race karts if your party is over 16! Our group had a blast. They also offer batting cages, Lazer tag and bumper cars
We've been here 4 times now and each time it's a lot of fun for the adults and kids. Nothing fancy, but the prices and discounts make it well worth it. Friendly staff that make it real easy to throw a party for a group of people. Our 12 person party had a great time with plenty of space for eating and hanging out.
Karts are fun, but it seems like unless you're part of their friend group, you're never gonna be able to post a faster laptime than anyone that they personally know. Because the guys standing around the track have a kill switch, they will used to kill your lap time. Edit: So the reply to me saying that the carts are only slowed down when there's a caution on the track is half true. Yes, they are slowed down when there's a caution on the track, but I have been there multiple times where I was alone coming o
We had a ton of fun racing with each other. I recommend only a few people at a time for the faster carts to minimize spin outs and bumps into each other. Lazer tag was great too. We were worn-out by the end of the 3 hours we were there!
We had hoped to go to this business as part of our family vacation because the website looked like it had something for everyone. When we arrived, everything screamed "run and run fast!" It was a very sketchy feeling from the moment we entered the parking lot. The inside was extremely dirty and run down. The bumper cars were shoved into an area where they couldn't drive around each other. You could MAYBE go as an adult group but definitely do not take children. The entire experience gave us a bad feeling.
Terrible service the guy in charge of the go carts just let people cut us just because we were kids and told us that we were lucky not to get kicked out because of a little bumping with small go carts.
Very fun! The staff is super friendly and down to earth. The go-karts are awesome for kids and adults! My son is 7 and did great behind the wheel. Bumper cars area is small but fun. The only downside was the long line (but worth it) and the building its self looks and feels like a warehouse or old car garage... It serves its purpose though and they seem to keep it up alright. We stayed until closing time!
This place is so fun for me being an adult all the way to the young kids that can ride with you on some of the carts. They have some for the adults that really go fast. They have food and slot car racing that is also fun. I would like to jump in the batting cages next time I am there as that looked fun too. And for the little ones they have a nice arcade as well. All in all it is a great place.
They have a variety of activities. The go-karts are real fun and you have two levels of cars. Must bumper cars. Kids really enjoyed the laser tag. Nice treat for the afternoon.
Very fun place. We really enjoyed the race carts and the staff is extra friendly..
We go there to play laser tag with our kids and their friends. This place is for all ages and the prices are reasonable to being a little high but we always have so much fun. The four star rating instead of five was because they could use some upgrades like painting some walls, nicer flooring, and even decorating the b-day room walls. Great place to blow some cash and have a lot of fun.
I have taken my kids here for more years than the kid working the counter has been alive. Lol. It a run down, grubby kind of a place, but its a family favorite. The kids love the go karts and we all love laser tag. My only complaint would be that its a little pricey for a family to have fun for too long.
My recently had yet another birthday party there as our children love it and always want to have their bday parties there. Definitely is NOT the same owners! These guys are rude, unprofessional, lack customer service and are money hungry. We will not be having any more parties there, which is quite sad as we've been going there for years.
My kids were enjoying themselves until theis older male employee hollered at my 6year old son to "Walk!!" not don't run please in a nice voice, but holler to walk. My son was just excited to be there and was jumping and skipping in excitement not running. I did witness other kids running and this guy just smiled at them and didn't say anything to them. No signs posted about do not run so I don't know if it had to do with race because we're native, but he just broke my sons spirit. I wanted to leave but no r
Was very fun! Wished the laser tag had slightly louder music in it. My siblings and i enjoyed it thoroughly. At this time their arcade machines were having issues though. The go karts were quite fun too.
Decent selection of go-karts, laser tag, bating cages and some fun arcade games. Fairly cheap entertainment for a birthday party. However customer service needs to be improved. They will get you on the ticket deals if you don't do the math before cashing out. My fault for falling for it. Customer service will apparently just smile at you while you bring your concerns forward, and then proceed to tell you what you could have done instead of remedy the situation for you. Overall good fun entertainment but bad
To be honest this was my second time there. It had a good atmosphere and good selection of activities to do. Laser tag was nicely done, good amount of space. The Go Karts/Race Karts are a true gem of place, nice sized circuit for what you are paying for. Also the baseball/softball cages are good if you want to practice a few hits. 8.5 out 10.
Great place to have a birthday party!! Go karts and arcade were a hit with my boys. We didn't get to try the batting cages but they seemed to be pretty busy.
Awesome fun, Go-Karts were all great conditions and fast. Arcadebwas old school with quarters and cheap like the old days. Batting cages were a great addition too. All the staff was amazing. Definitely an amazing spot to stop and have a great time kids or not!!
Most fun i have had in 8 years, and the young men running the show made it go smooth. My family did 2 rounds of laser tag and 1 round of go-kart racing. It was a BLAST!!
It was nice everything was fun, however it was pretty hot and kind of run-down, a great place for kids 6-16 years of age, also wash your hands before you eat and once you leave. p.s. there are two types of go-karts the colored ones goes 15 MPH and the other ones go 40 MPH but you have to have a driver's license to go on the fast ones.
My son and I had a great time on the karts. It was his first time so it was nice that we got there before they were really busy so we could go on the track without other aggressive drivers. After he was a bit more confident on a couple more runs with a few more karts out with us, our last run was with full track of karts so it was fun trying to pass others without bumping too much.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
