Outrageously Expensive. Took The Kids Out To Enjoy Some Paintball Target Practice & Batting Cages. They Had Fun, But It Was Short Lived. Outside Of Those Bad *ss, Can't Say Excuse Me, Jump In Front On The Line, Walk Right Through You Like You Don't Even Exist, Aint Got No Home Training *ss Kids Left The Atmosphere Cooled Down. But I Think The Prices Was Just Too High For Short Lived Attractions

Had a great time with the kids practicing some batting, then enjoyed some paintball and arcade. The wiffle ball batting cage is great for younger kids - I've never seen that before anywhere else.

Great date/hangout place. I just did Mini-golf. Went with another friend. Each of is were $14. 18 hole play. Took us around an hour. Pretty fun and not to difficult. Would and have recommended.

Super fun place for the whole family! We spent a whole afternoon there and even our teenager was asking to stay! Want to go back for a date night with my husband I think it will be fun! Bring food there food stand was closed when we were there.

This place is sooo dope. It has well maintained scenic 18 hole outdoor mini-golf to bring you the real feel of playing in authentic golf turf. Battle out the heat, wind and sound to pot your balls. The baseball batting a d paintball shooting range is also fun. I definately recommend this place for people of all age groups.

A fun place to bring the family. Take some swings in the batting cages for baseball or softball from slow(45mph) to fast(80mph). Mini goft, arcade and even a paintball gun range with lots of targets. I've been going here since the 90s when my Dad used to take and me and now I bring my daughter here. A great place to bring the kids that won't cost an arm and an leg.

The experience at this place was wonderful this was because went to this place with my friends to play mini golf and it was good. The mini golf was 18 holes. The best time to come to this place is during when the weather is beautiful outside this is because people can take a swing at at batting cages, and play mini golf.

This place is my favorite since you don't have to load a machine with balls and adjust speed, just drop the coin!

We celebrated our child's birthday at Five Towns Mini Golf today and it was fantastic! The staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The mini golf course, batting cages and paintball were a huge hit with the kids! They did not want to leave. The exceptional customer service made the event stress-free and enjoyable for everyone. I highly recommend for any celebration ? they truly know how to create a memorable experience! Thank you Matt ??

Amazing customer service, Veteran friendly, and a great place to bring the family. The staff were great and the owner gave me extra tokens for Veteran?s Day! He even gave the birthday boy a free football when we left. The prices are great for NY. I recommend the 1 player combo, it gives you a bit of everything for a great price.

We've been coming here as a family for years. Consistently great stuff, good fun for the price, and we never get bored. We visit several times a year when they're open. A great way to spend a guaranteed few hours outdoors and with your family.

This was nice, we went on a Wednesday and no one was there which I enjoyed. It's a nice day-date activity. Food is not sold at the property.

This business has operated for over 45 years . It's the only place close to the city and the owners Marty and Matt Rosen have done a great job at maintaining a family oriented place, fun for the entire family! I highly recommend. They have Paintball, 18 holes of mini golf, 10 cages of batting. 5 baseball and 5 softball cages. They also have a game room.

Been coming here season after season for as long as I can remember. Now 31, my husband and I cannot wait to bring our children here and experience the ONLY thing we have left of this community. Mini golf is my fav, batting is such a great workout and hubby loves paintball! Hoping to have this stay for years and years to come.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Simple mini golf fun ????

Had a blast. First-time back here as an adult and I enjoyed every second. The mini golf was fun and challenging and the batting range, at first i didn't want to play but decided to try it. I paid for one token but the owner gave me a free token (nice guy btw). I had so much fun I decided to buy two more rounds lol. Come with friends and fam and have a good time.

The batting cage here is always a good time the only problem I had was all of the children running around like tiny crazy people lol but it's fine they also have a arcade area and mini golf. The mini golf course looks trash I wouldn't pay for it

I always enjoy my time here. The batting cages are dated but get the job done. To my surprise the restrooms are fairly clean. The owner is a really nice guy and I will continue to hit here.

Absolutely wonderful place! Love the batting cages! Great for family with other activities.

Had a lot of fun. Fun for adults and kids. Only thing I would recommend is bringing wipes for the clubs, bats, helmets and arcade games. Everyone is touching everything and the staff doesn't wipe or spray any of it down. Kids are running around without masks touching everything. After using the club and bat, my hands were so sticky. Not a good feeling, especially with covid. So I had to use a lot of hand sanitizer and wash my hands after each activity.

In a time where batting cages have been dropping like flies over the years, this place has been consistently amazing. I thoroughly recommend this place to anyone looking for outdoor batting cages. They have an arcade, mini golf, and some kind of paintball shooting thing but personally I've only used it for the cages.

Great batting cages for practice. Snacks and a lil extra while u play. Family owned and I'd love to see this place go on longer. Not enough people are going and they may close.

Anniversary rivalry played here three years running. Great place for a little friendly competition. Well manicured lawn, Who's on a winning streak??? My husband. When will it end?

Affordable prices, fun games, great atmosphere. The customer service was super friendly. And the commuters there was not long at all. A very convenient place to bring your whole family or its perfect for a daye night, even a blind date. Great experience

Great place , Great price..Great owner..Come check it out tons of stuff for kids also

I've gone to five towns mini golf several times, and I couldn't be happier. The staff are always courteous and helpful. I typically bring my 10 year old son and his friends for either paintball or batting and they always leave happy. Five Towns Mini Golf and Batting is a hidden gem in Lawrence, NY.

Had a wonderful time at the batting cages, and game room with some friends from the bronx. This was there first time. I've been 5 other times always the same great time. I took my girlfriend here on a date and she loved it too.

Great little hidden surprise. The landscape through out the golf course is so lovely. Enjoy yourself with the family or on a date. Peaceful and safe. Nostalgic. Visit for yourself, you'll be so glad and you will go back.

We were blown away by this place. So many fun things to do and probably one of the nicest guys ever behind the counter that was wonderful to my 2 boys. We will be there a few more times this summer.

I have been going here since my Little League days in the 70's. Come support a business that has been supporting youngsters for decades.

This place is very boring, all the facilities are very simple and not exciting at all. The mini golf course is literally putting in a straight lines for all 18 holes. Save your money and go somewhere else were the facilities are well maintained and engaging.

Fun place to come to. My 5 year old loved the batting cages for his age group but also tried the adult ones. He had a lot of fun at the arcade section also.

I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. Great place to play games/mini golf outdoors on a nice day. Fairly priced too. Overall, a great place to spend a few hours in the day.

The family had fun playing mini golf. Great to get out of the house.

The go to place where you need some practice swings. I drive from the Bronx to practice here. $3.50 for 10 balls to swing at. It is outdoors which add to the enjoyment instead of those tight indoor batting cages. There is mini golf and video games. A complete entertainment venue.

Nice place to hit some balls and play a bit of mini golf. It wasn't crowded when we got here at 1pm. Spent about $100 for 2 adults for mini golf, target paintball, and alot of batting practice!

Love the batting range, paintball is great for the kids. The arcade is a bit outdated but the kids are happy! Overall a great trip if you are not looking to travel far

Always a great experience. Great afternoon out with the kids watching them compete against each other to see who can hit the most balls. I enjoy the paintball as well!

A great place to go, mini golf, batting cages, paint ball shooting gallerie, and arcade games all in one place

This place is amazing. I have been going here since I was a kid. From being scared of the ball to Playing pro ball over seas these cages prepared me for everything. Support this place at all costs. It is a NYC treasure

Last of the mohicans mini golf course. Great to take the kids. More people need to go so we don't lose it.

Enjoyed many days and evenings with my son at the batting cages including his eight birthday party. The paint guns are a blast. The golf and video games round out the day.

Went there today with my kids for the first time. I really had a great time. Kids loved it and I loved it as well. Definitely new fun spot for us.

Hands down the best outdoor batting cage in the 5 boroughs. Five Towns exemplifies and maintains this relic of Americana as its counterparts wither away. Where you do find a batting cage these days, most seem disconnected from what matters; people want to hit baseballs/softballs without frills or the frustration of a malfunctioning machine. This is exactly what Five Towns does so well and, obviously, kept them in business. The staff is friendly and attentive while the cages are well maintained. Generations

Drove by a million times. So glad I finally went. Fun for the whole family.

Really fun place. I enjoyed the miniature golf and the batting range. Paintball was okay to try once. Good place to hang out after work with friends.

Amazing family entertainment place that is family owned and operated. Close to food options, great for kids parties and general midweek fun. Highly recommend!

It is s fun place to go to rather inexpensively entertain kids for a couple of hours. Besides a baseball/softball batting range, there is a wiffleball batting range, for the very young, a small arcade area, mini golf and paint ball target shooting area.

Too much fun, everyone is nice, places to relax after taking a break. Has arcade, paintball range, batting and mini golf. You could send hours hanging out here!

love this family fun. the best mini golf. the friendliest staff. love the batting cages. I've been going here since they opened. many many years ago..??

Mini Golf is fun to do once in a while and when in the mood so is getting into the Batting cage. This is a pretty good place to go just to unwind after a stressful workday if need be. I shall return.

A neighborhood staple . Could use some updating of the Cameroon but tbh we come for the batting cages .. love this place

Lots of fun my 8 yr old boy had a blast.

This place is always a good time. Great for a group of friends or the family. I love the mini golf. The batting cages are really fun too.

Fun place and awesome management. Always very friendly and helpful.

Definitely will be returning, 18 mini golf holes, paintball target shooting, and batting cages. Great deal for your moneys worth.

Always a GREAT time here!!!! Family friendly

A very nice place to spend a warm afternoon with the kids walking around and shooting paint balls. Easy parking and if you can get some coupons to get discounts you can have even more fun.

Dying. You can smell the decay on entering. No one came in while I was there. It felt like a graveyard with unseen, macabre, possibly malignant, ethereal beings hiding behind the flashing lights and eerie beeping of unused machines

This place is still amazing. Been coming here for 20 years and I love it. Great for the whole family, a date or just with friends.

Great place to bring kids and teenagers to spend an hour or two. Arcade, mini golf, paintball shot practice, batting cage etc. staff is very nice.

Not bad for mini golf, I would come here again

Great place to bring your family or even a date. Every time I bring my girlfriend there she tries to beat me in the basketball shooting game. What a competitor! Next time I want to see her swing a bat

This is a great place. They have a batting range, mini golf, paint ball and an arcade. Wonderful place for families

I BEEN GOING THERE FOR 10 YEARS, IT,S A GREAT PLACE TO SPEND TIME WITH YOUR KIDS, THE STAFF IS AWESOME AND MATT AT THE FRONT DESK IS THE NICEST PERSON YOU WILL MEET, IF YOU HAVE ANY KIND OF PROBLEM, JUST ASK MATT!!

Great place. The batting cages, golf, arcades, basketball are all fun. I would love to go back

It was a good experience for the mini golf, but there are HORRIBLE Mosquitos !! These Mosquitos would bite you through jeans. They are swarmed with them on the mini golf course. The front desk did offer big spray repellent , but that did not keep those monster Mosquitos off of you. You can't enjoy the mini golf past like the 3rd hole because the Mosquitos there are way too aggressive.

Absolutely wonderful! The owner is down to earth and goes out of his way to assist. Thank you! ??My son had a blast!

I genuinely like this place a lot! Lots of fun and very helpful staff. The guy even gave me a free gift how cool is that?

I as a father,,, grandfather,,would recommend to bring your kids or grandkids and family members here to the batting cages and arcade machines,,and much more to have lots of fun and enjoyment.

Great place to visit while waiting for a flight!

Nice basic batting cages, definitely returning again!

It was our first time there, we had a great time. Mini-golf was super fun and we will be returning to do the paintball and batting.

Took the grandkids years after taking the kids to the same place over 20+years ago. Excellent Experience ??????

I've been coming here for a couple of years. Great for a date or a family day.

Great course that starts off slow but becomes progressively more challenging. Not the like average course! It's actually unique for a mini golf course.

Its nice to know there is a place to bring your family for entertainment. Its clean and safe the staff is helpful and kind.

Very cute place to take the family. Not too expensive, friendly staff and definitely worth the trip.

Nice local attraction, very friendly staff, a fun day out with the family (various ages)

Took my Grandson there to practice hitting. The cost was okay, 4 dollars for 10 balls. He had a great time.

Great place, the guy who runs it is awesome, everything is kept up and there's a wide variety of things to do.

Never been to an outdoor, this place is great they even have a little arcade area. Just a heads up better to bring your own bats!

A great place to go to have batting practice. Thanks Marty....

It's the only local place. We had a good time, but it could really use a face lift and better lighting for the night.

Really cool cheap spot to bring the kids real quick for some fun great customer service ??

Fun place and will kept up. Nice staff. Plenty of parking.

Great place for family fun, well maintained property, friendly and generous staff, will come back

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
