Firehouse Skate 'N Play

We had a great birthday party at Firehouse Skate! The host we had was very bubbly and energetic and kept things flowing. I never had to do anything which was nice for once as I got to enjoy the party myself! Our only complaint was the laser tag was not really working and so no one really got to enjoy that. We played but half the things were not working and the scores weren't tracking right.

Was there a few hours. Games are expensive, there is not enough employees, waited for 10 minutes and had to find someone to cash out tickets. Didn't even get to do laser tag. There were parties and we signed up and waited for our number to be called which never happened. Kids had fun on play area. Also they loved skating. Overall it was fun for them just not what we expected

I love coming here to skate. My granddaughters always have blast! The only issue I have is that if you buy a large 32oz slushie (take home cup)you still have to pay the same price for a refill. You should offer discounted refills when people buy the $8 cup.

Had my daughter's glow party here. She had a good time. Only thing I would say is the pizza could be improved. It wasn't even hot felt like it was uncooked and not very good. The glow room was ok but I wouldn't pay $50 again just to shut the lights off. You get 12 credits for the kids for the arcade but they can only play maybe 2 games with that. You have the room for an hour for the party but move at your own pace so if you make it quick you at least can have a good amount of time to play laser tag or go s

We participated in a school fundraiser at Firehouse Skate tonight and raised over $300. Super surprised with the big check presentation, which was awesome. The staff was friendly and always had a smile, you could tell they enjoyed being there. Along with the skating, my kids played so many games of laser tag and spent so much time at the playground. Thank you for a fun night and for a good cause.

I just had my 10 yr old daughter?s bday party there and it was awesome. We had Audrey as our hostess during and she was incredible w the kids and so much fun! Everyone was very sweet and a joy to work with. I will definitely be coming back here for more events! We went here for our joint bachelor and bachelorette party the night before our wedding and it was so great!! The staff were so accommodating, ensuring we had the best time ever. We got to pick the music and dance the night away, play unlimited laser tag games, and we got endless amounts of fun from the arcade because of the generosity of the staff. Best night ever before the wedding !

Took my niece here and she had a BLAST!!!! Place was very clean and safe for her. Greyson was also super helpful! Had to ask him a few questions, as a paranoid aunt should, and he was amazing! Definitely recommend and will be coming back!

Not what it used to be, but still the same? Clearly the prices are higher and there are things that have changed like laser tag, play area, and the fact that you can no longer get a free cup of water, but the place still looks just as it did 20 years ago. Really not much has changed and was still a fun time to be had. Plenty of experienced skaters and beginners too so don't be afraid to visit. Just bring your credit, debit card or Apple or Google pay as they do not accept cash.

They are very accommodating in all aspects. They go out of their way to make sure you have the very best experience. Their service is very streamlined and personable. You can even rent the whole place out to yourselves if you wanted to do a banquet/ private event. Highly recommend!

We drove 30 minutes just to find out someone booked the whole building for a birthday party. As a business, the least you could do is post on Facebook ahead of time to let customers know beforehand.

Nice place. Bring a card. This place is cashless, which means you need a card. If you use the kiosk in the lobby to get a card, you will be robbed. Every time you use the card, it texts you your balance. Then, the next day, it continues to text you more transactions, even though you're nowhere near the skating rink. Customer service is a call center in India, no resolution, no refund, no calls back. What a scam! Do not use the kiosk.

Firehouse skate and play is the best! We had a group of about 10 and everything was perfect. The manager and staff were great to us. Terri kept everyone entertained from younger ages to older ages with her music selection. The food was great, came out quick and Ashley was so sweet to us. I'd recommend going there for family fun. Looking forward to going back.

I had my 6 year old sons Birthday party here. It is fun place for kids to have a birthday party. The management was friendly. The only complaint I have is our Birthday party room was very hot and I'm thinking the air conditioner was broken. They did provide us with some fans to try to help out with this situation, but it was really hot. I will do another Birthday party there since it was really fun for the kids. I will just make sure the air conditioner works on the day of the party.

Autumn is an exceptional worker with top tier customers service. My child lights up when it's time to order something from the cafe! She is sweet and always wears a smile. Autumn is the reason we will always love Firehouse. ??

toddler had a blast playing on the large indoor climbing area. was super clean and had a deal going on for mother?s day so price was great.

Have been a few times recently and it's always great service, good food and a good time! Specifically Autumn at the concession stands is always helpful and her service is always quick. Would recommend this facility a million times over!

This was the first time we've ever booked a venue for a party and it was absolutely the best experience! The staff was so helpful and informative and our kid had such an amazing time, especially considering it was their first time ever skating.

Firehouse Skating Rink is the best entertainment for families! All of our experiences have been positive and fun for everyone in the family. Mommy and Me has been great for my younger daughter to build confidence in her skating. They have trainer skates and ?skate mates? for beginners to use (even some adults). My son had a blast at firehouse skate n play. We will be back for more fun! From skating to the arcade, playground area/jungle gym, food plus laser tag, they have it all. It's a tad pricey but the best way to go is the unlimited pass for $24.99 which includes everything plus 12 game tokens and pizza (pizza on certain days). Tuesday's are $5 skate night! ??

This is a great skating rink! It's very clean & has every amenity you need for a skating outing with your family. I definitely recommend this place and I will definitely go back.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Firehouse has a great skating atmosphere for all ages. The skate floor is well maintained, and the facility is always clean.

Enjoyed this local skating spot on a Tuesday for the ?cheap skate?. The workers AND the people there are all so nice. Laser tag was fun and my kids love the playground since they're not into skating for long amounts of time, yet. We've attended here for birthday parties, and they're well organized!

Had my 5 year olds birthday party here and it was fantastic. All the kids from ages 3-10 had a blast. Audrey was our party host and was absolutely wonderful. She worked so well with the kids.

I really want to love this place. It has everything you need to have a great time. But the skates aren't well maintained, the laser tag area is small and hard to enjoy with more than three people, and overall, it has a little bit of a dead vibe about it. I would love to see the community invest in it and turn this into the Vinton staple it deserves to be.

Firehouse Skate N Play is the only place I will take my kids to skate. They are all about the kids having fun and the manager Terri was amazing to my kids on our visit. We will definitely make the trip to come here.

Our family has always loved coming here - whether it's for special occasions or just a regular weekend. The toddler skating session is always enjoyable for us parents as well as kids!! And sipping coffee while watching kiddo have so much fun ...priceless!!! Great work guys and keep up with all your efforts in making this such an amazing environment where families can grow together. My daughter and her friends had a fantastic time! The staff was fantastic and Audrey did a wonderful job with all the kids! There was a bit of confusion about a promo when I booked the party and the corporate office handled it, and ended up applying the coupon. It was so nice to see a company actually provide stellar customer service when so many do not these days. I highly recommend!

Mason has done an excellent job with this place!! Tons of fun for the little ones during the day with all the special toddler skates that they do. Every time we go, our 4 year old has an absolute blast. The staff is always very friendly and professional. Even the adult only skates are filled with great people and great times at an awesome facility! We will absolutely keep giving them our business !!

Our family visited the Vinton location 12/19/23 and had a wonderful experience. We have four kids and our two year old was utilizing a free pass for the play area. I was distracted by the kids and didn't realize the cashier had rung up the two year old as well until after I had paid and realized the total price was for four children not three. I'm not one to raise a stink because we're all human and make mistakes - in this case it seemed more like an error with the software. Regardless, it was a simple mist

Skate rink was terrific as well as the play area. The pizza was really good. And I liked that we were able to refill the drink pitchers after the party. Now for the bad. The skates my nephew got had to be turned in as the wheels did not roll. He was the birthday boy. The cards they gave for the game room did not work and when they did get them to work we were told the guest had 30 minutes to use them - they would not reset them so they could use them when they wanted to. I went to Firehouse Skate n Play today with a group of about 10 adults and 14 kids and we all had a terrific time! The staff was friendly and super accommodating. The kids and adults all had an excellent time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

It was great except for the party we had the 2 tables next to the food stand. So the kids were not contained in a room and kept getting up and going out to skate or play they had to keep being called overhead to come back to tables for cake and presents. You only have an hour to do it all at table and it got down to the wire to get it all done. But everything else was fine. Had a great hostess

Hosted our daughter?s 5th birthday celebration here yesterday and cannot say enough wonderful things about this staff and facility! They truly rolled out the red carpet for our group and we couldn't be more grateful. Our girl had the BEST time and we appreciated how turnkey the experience was. First, it's entirely too expensive to pay for skating here compared to other places I have gone. Second, I had to trade my skates twice because they would not buckle. Finally I took them off and gave my wrist band to someone else to get themselves skates and chose not to skate. Third, they quit taking cash which is what I carry, so I could not get anything to drink. I won't be back.

I just had my son's 10th birthday party at Firehouse Skate N' Play on Saturday, January 27th 2024 and I just want to say the staff did an awesome job!!! The pizza and fruit tray were wonderful and the party host was so friendly and he did a fabulous job and was very helpful. I will definitely be using Firehouse for future parties!!! Took my daughter and she had a blast. No issues with rentals or the staff. One staff in particular name Ramona went out of her way to make sure she helped me when I needed her. Definitely plan on going back soon.

Really enjoyed everything other than the actual private party celebration. They let me know when we arrived that we would be out in the open at 2 tables next to the snack bar. It was so loud our family couldn't hear anything or know we were singing happy birthday to my disgusted. We were in everyone?s way who would come to the snack bar or to the play area when we were trying to open presents and again my daughter would have to scream over the loud music to tell everyone thank you as she opened her gifts. On a family trip, we stopped in and paid for the upgraded tickets which included Lazer tag. We signed up to play and waited over an hour and a half for our turn (we were given a number.) When our number was called, we realized they had double booked the game and our party was asked to leave the room. What a joke. We ended up leaving because we had a family event and couldn't continue to wait, especially when we didn't know when or if we would get to play. Perhaps hire some staff and get organized!

Firehouse Skate ?N Play is such a friendly place to go out and take your kids too! The manager and staff are so nice and the manager really cares about her staff and customers being taken care of properly and professionally and having a great time. The general manager was so kind to me and honestly one of the best managers of a business I have ever met. She was so welcoming and made the experience for my family even more fun than it could possibly be for just a night out skating!

I have been here several times and gotten the same experience the last 3 times I've went. Very rude staffing, everyone sitting in the office, had to wait forever to get skates or food. Today, We paid to unlimited admission for $26 another 6$ to rent the kids skate rolling assistant and another 32$ for pizza and drinks. We were there for 15-20 minutes. There is a sign in the front desk that says cash accepted in the arcade area, when we tried to pull out cash in the arcade area to pay for the skate assistant

They will keep your money if you have to cancel for any reason so they get a lot of money from people for doing absolutely nothing they are all about taking money from people and not having to work or provide anything for it! We held my daughter's 13th birthday here on a Saturday afternoon/evening. The staff were wonderful and very attentive, especially our Party Attendant, Brandon! He was awesome and we really appreciated his help!

We took the kids to go skating and do some laser tag. There were some issues in relation to scheduling of the laser tag games, but the team bent over backwards to resolve the issue. We also had a 4yo who was too small for the laser tag vest, but they had a disconnected laser gun without the vest that let him feel like he was still playing. What had originally started out a little rough turned out to be an overall good visit.

Had my son's birthday party here. They did a great job. Our party host Grayson was great and kept the the events in the party room moving smoothly. The price is very reasonable for what you get. Will consider them for future parties.

Where do I start? From booking to the time we left, the professionalism, atmosphere and fun was amazing! Thank you to Ashley who was a PHENOMENAL party host! She balanced our party, other parties and even announcements the entire time we were there. She made sure we had full drink pitchers until it was time for us to leave. This is a great place to bring your family. Always has fun stuff going on. Staff is friendly. My husband and I use to come here all the time when we first started dating and now we are bringing our daughter here and it's just an amazing feeling.
