Our food was dynamite!! My husband is always talking about wanting a hotdog on a stick (corndog) and we FINALLY got it here! Our corndog was well breaded and delicious! The footlong hotdog with chilli was INSANE! The hotdog was so big and a FOOT along! It was so good! If you get ANY toppings on the hotdog, make sure you have napkins because it was very messy!! Usually, places that offer huge food lacks in quality or flavor, but NOT AT FANNIES!! Overall the food makes this a 5 out of 5! The employees were f
Fannie Farkles WAS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE? The corn dog will melt in your mouth!!! Definitely recommend 10/10? there's no trip to Tennessee that will be complete without eating at Fannie Farkles
Corndog and sausage are amazing, but the customer service was not good ??. As a mobility chair user the incline up inside the building was to steep and my scooter could not make it in. I went up to window explaining to the worker there was no crowd at this time. Told her that I could not make it inside the building and I was told "if you can not come inside then I can not serve you no exceptions" lucky I found someone to order and get my food for me.
Our kids had a blast here! We have a five-year-old, a four-year-old, and a two-year-old. We went right when they open to avoid the Gatlinburg crowds. It was perfect and we were one of the only families in there. Sure it's a little expensive, but when you're in a tourist town, what isn't?
Corn dogs...yum! Great little arcade. Though it be easy to spend a lot in there playing for tickets..to exchange for prizes.... so budget like every arcade
My husband and I put about $50 into several of the claw machine games and they're rigged bad. Don't waste your money at all. We are very good at these games and for as much money we put into them we should have won something. The claw always drops the prizes and you'll never win here. 0 stars
Fannie Farkle's is mine and my daughters favorite Arcade in Gatlinburg! We visited on Sunday August 4th. We always have a blast when we come and we walked away with quite a few prizes! On this visit me and my daughter finally got to have one of those delicious Ogle Dogs! We will always come here for the food and games when we are visiting the area!
We have eaten at this place for years the sausages are awesome the big long hot dogs are awesome the corn dogs are awesome kind of expensive but hey if you're here on vacation you know give them a try you shouldn't be disappointed. We're local. Like I said, we eat often here and have been for years. I would recommend giving it a try also it's an arcade so the kids can play some games and have fun. Forgot to take pictures of the foot long corn dogs there where devoured as soon as they handed them to my kids
January 2nd 2025 6:00pm the guy at sausage stand is the rudest person in town. If you you don't like your job, do something else, but don't treat customers like that.
I can't go to the Smokies without a visit to Fannie Farkle's, been going here for many, MANY years and it's still one of my favorites and now one of my kids favorites as well. Partly it's the nostalgia I'm sure as Fannie Farkle's has been around for so long, but those fresh cooked footlong corn dogs are some of the best I've ever had and the smoked sausage with those grilled onions & peppers will draw you in time after time. There's an arcade located inside if you want to have a little fun before grabbing
Always a must! Having been going here each year for the past 14 years with my husband and recently took my nephews. Great games and decent price. Tickets are given at almost every game and prizes are all within ticket reason. The corn dogs are so crispy and fresh, absolutely love getting them. Save your cup for refills and as a souvenir. Stop by as you are walking a long the strip and take in the fun and create memories.
My favorite arcade so far in the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area! First off, all the vibes are there. This place has a retro vibe with super modern games. All games are very affordable at around $1 per play. Plus, they multiply all your tickets times 5, so you can win tons of cool prizes! The prices are great, and I won a large ceramic bear. We won tons of jackpots and had a lot of fun. At the end, we ate ogle dogs and cheesesteaks, which were delicious. All the employees were very kind, and I will recomme
like this better than the other arcades in gatlinburg ,more of an old time arcade feel.some games needed repairs ..but had most I remembered and loved .footlong Ogle dogs here and slushies!you can actually win things here and tickets add up faster than other venues.
A great Gatlinburg staple! If you want quick food that tastes good & doesn't break the bank this is it! Their portions are large enough to fill you up or split if you need a snack before dinner! Service has been kind & prompt!
Good corn dogs Nice staff great prizes always should stop by when you're down in Gatlinburg, pretty clean staff are always helping if you ask for help they'll help you best arcade in Gatlinburg come for the food and stay for the fun
Fannie Farkle?s legendary Ogle dogs in Gatlinburg, TN were out of this world tasty! I followed the smell and knew immediately when I found my mystery destination! The line moved fast! Prices were reasonable! My food was super delicious! Definitely worth it to grab a quick bite to eat at this place while browsing the local shops and available entertainment.
I love Fannie Farkles! The arcade is pretty fun, especially on a rainy day. This is a place you MUST stop by! Best fresh made footlong corndogs, sausage dogs with onions/peppers and philly cheese steak! I also love that their arcade ticket cards do not expire! I left Gatlinburg and forgot to stop by to pick a prize.
My wife and I have been coming here for almost a decade, and she's been coming here since she was a kid. She always gets a corndog and I always get the sausage and peppers. Also always play a few rounds of skee-ball. Fannie Farkle's is always a constant in the ever changing Gatlinburg downtown corridor.
What can I say. We have been coming to Gatlinburg for years and tonight was the first time trying the cheese steak! Omgooooosh!!! By far the best food we have had down here, EVER!! SOOO GOOD! PLEASE IF U LIKE CHEESETEAKS THIS IS THE BEST PLACE EVER FOR THEM.
Fannie Farkle's has ALWAYS been a staple destination for my family. The corn dogs alone are worth the drive from Alabama to Gatlinburg.
Best corndog I have ever had gotta say! I didn't try the sausage, but it looked and smelled great. The arcade is smaller than others in town, but if you want a decently sized snack walking through Gatlinburg, you can't fail with an Ogledog!
Fun little arcade in the midst of Gatlinburg. Place was decently clean and all of the workers were nice. Corn dogs were delicious and worth the money. If you're playing in the arcade, you'll get ~1,000 tickets per dollar spent, if you play one of the coin slot games continuously and play well. Most prizes are in the 1,000-7,500 range, with most of the expensive prizes (15,000+) being bear models, otherwise you can buy candy and all the other stuff you can expect in a regular arcade.
Very modern, clean restaurant and arcade.
Fannie Farkle?s opened in 1981, my first visit to Gatlinburg came in summer of 1982. I say that to say this, we stopped by Wednesday night August 9 to get the famous Ogle Dog, a sausage sandwich, & for me to try the Philly Cheesesteak? And now I publicly apologize for never stopping here before now despite the too numerous times to count trips where we would walk by, smell allll of the grilling smells, and not think twice about stopping. Great food, portions were large, & the taste of my Philly was the best
Great corn dogs and sausages! Very noisy and you have to eat outside but still worth it
Corn dog was premade (NOT fresh as says the sign) and not great. $4.50 for bottled water or even a small cup of water.
Amazing street food!!! Arcade is ok needs more lighting and space. Can get way crowded when people playing games and ordering food!!! Need to find away to keep onions and peppers well cooked. We are never able to the sausage?? but we get plenty of the corndogs!!!
We can't go to Gatlinburg without going to Fannie Farkle?s! My kids love the games, the prizes, the foot long corn dogs, the sausages, fresh squeezed lemonade, and slushies! It can get expensive quick though!!
It's a must when in the G?burg, corn dogs and sausage with peppers and onions! And they support us veterans with a complimentary beverage! Big shout out and thank you to Fannie Farkle?s.
The best corn dog in Gatlinburg, if you have never had a Fannie Farkle?s Corn dog, you are missing out.
We had the beef hot dog with peppers and onions. It was very tasty!
Best cheese steak I've had in a while. We had some for lunch and talked about how good they a few times during the day. Sadly we waited to long to get another one they sold out. Decided to try the hotdogs and those were also really good. Both times fast and friendly service. Would definitely recommend!!!
These guys are so awesome. Smelled great looked great did not get a chance to try it. But they did pose for pictures and video.
We love Fannie Farkle's! Going to Fannie Farkle's is a tradition for our family! An employee named Freimmy is working almost every time we go, and he's always so helpful and kind! We recommend Fannie Farkle's over all of the other arcades in Gatlinburg.
I drive 7 hours one way at least twice a year for these Oogle dogs. I love them so much and you will too
My husband and I stopped by on a Monday evening about 7:30 pm. There was a brief wait but well worth it! I had the corn dog and he had the foot long chili dog. We each had more than we could handle!! YUMM! Highly recommend giving them a try.
Love this place. The polish dogs are out of this world!!! The service is always on point. Atmosphere is always great, and family oriented. I loved the use of the use of the diverse ethnicity of the employees. Phillip is a terrific manager. Games and prizes are really good
Saw this place on TikTok and had to stop. We shared a corndog perfectly cooked and tasty! They had an arcade inside too!
Kinda hot and stuffy. But the lady that runs it was helpful and knowledgeable enough to get you through what you needed to know. Beautiful pup up there with her, and had a fun enough time
Fannie Farkles is a must stop anytime we visit the area. I have literally dropped my wife off, circled the block and picked her up to grab a corn dog before we head home. Corn dogs, sausage and lemonade are all delicious. The smell when you are nearby is intoxicating.
Those corndogs and sausage dogs always have us coming back trip after trip. Absolutely delicious!!
Cute place. I didn't check the arcade out too much, just came here to eat. Got a huge 8 oz hot dog for $10. I will probably check this place out further when I have more time.
This is one of our favorite stops! Great fun and wonderful staff. Something for everyone to play from newer coin games to skee ball. Electronic cards help from wrangling tickets.
We visited twice during our stay for New Years, and we loved the games and footlong corn dogs!!!
4 years ago, we were walking Downtown Gatlinburg, and the aroma of saut?ed onions, peppers and sausages wafted to us. We followed our noses to Fannie Farkle's. We got one smoked sausage with onions and peppers on a hoagie and walked across the street to sit on of the benches by the sidewalk. I felt a pop in my mouth with the first bite and I was sold. It was the best smoked sausage I have ever had. I have been talking about this experience for the last four years. This visit we went to Fannie Farkle's twic
Absolutely love this place! Have loved it since I was a child. Amazing food! DONT GO HERE IF YOUR ON A DIET!!! lol I did and lord I was in trouble. I ate the whole thing. It was freaking amazing!!!
Yum! Best corn dog I have ever had! They batter and fry them right in front of you!
Walked by this place saw a HUGE corn dog bought it for $8.82 shared between two people and walked around the cute town! Sooooo yummy!
What a fun and interesting place With lots of arcade ski ball basket ball.. fun filled and food as well. Grilled large sausages beef or pork with onions and peppers on the grill going all the time.. A great place for kids..
Corn dogs are good, but the hot dogs are delicious! We stopped by the first time to order corn dogs. They forgot to put napkins in our bag. No biggie, I went to ask for some. The lady said, "I put some in the bag." and walked away. I guess she was having a bad day! But we went back and tried the hot dogs, and they are delicious! I recommend them for sure! And they guy that took our order also made the food. He was extremely nice!
Go get the best footlong corndog you will ever have!
The best sausage, pepper and onion hoagie on earth. I would drive 4 hours to sink my teeth into one of these. Don't let the cheesy arcade in the background fool you these smoked sausages are unbelievable.
Busy, fun little place with good food and a great atmosphere. Kids will really enjoy it here.
My Family loves Fannie Farkle's!! We go a couple times a year and always have a blast!
Had a grilled sausage with peppers and onions, the peppers and onions had laid on the flat top until they were more of a sticky paste, than peppers and onions,my wife wanted a corn dog, but, the people running that side were apparently uninterested in serving her, they just stood there and looked at her without any acknowledgement at all? Poor quality, inordinately expensive, and poor service! No more!
The best Philly Steak n Cheese around! Great service and friendly. Really great taste like a Philly should taste.
Oh the nostalgia . I used to go here with my mom as a kid and honestly it did not disappoint. Corn dogs were great and we got the best bang for our buck in the arcade. The prizes we left with were not pitiful like some of the other places. It was fairly easy to rack up points which kept the excitement up and fun going. We will be back. ??
Hands down the best corn dogs! We have been coming here for years and they are always amazing! 11/10 recommend!
Have been coming here since I was a kid and now am bringing my kids. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Food is great! A staple of Downtown Gatlinburg!
Great arcade with nice prizes. Lots of different games for all ages. Not real loud. Not too crowded.
Bought a sausage sandwich? this is not hot Italian sausage! This is a peppery smoked sausage. Very misleading. Uninterested in paying $10 for something that I would never buy in the first place.
Been coming here since I was a kid 20 something years later still coming. Food is amazing best Corn Dog around and the smell of the hot sandwiches being prepared always hit ya when you walk in. Games are standard arcade games like most the places its the food that really counts! If they sold funnel cakes they would sell out daily I bet.
Everytime we come, we make it to Fannie Farkles to get corn dogs. We love them and the kids eat them up.
My kids ate the corn dogs twice while we were there! Brats were ok. All in one snack and arcade.
I have loved this place for decades! Take my 2 teens every time we visit. Food is Amazing! SO MUCH FUN
Love this place!! I've been coming to Fannie Farkle?s since I was 5 years old. I'm 34 now and I just went , it is still just as great as it was when I was younger. The sausage and onions sandwich is a must!
Hands down the best corn dogs in America period. People that are giving this place a one star for the arcade inside just need to stop, turn around, and go to a chuck e cheese if that's what they want. You don't come here for the games. You come here for the dogs. You stand in the street in front of the building, you eat it, you close your eyes and remember doing the same thing in 1988. When times were good, and everyone in Gatlinburg was from America.
It's a staple. No matter what, we always have a good time!
My 5 and 8yr olds loved it! They always want to play crane machines and I loved that these were actually winnable! I'd definitely go back!
Philly cheese steak sandwich 10/10 highly recommend!
Husband and I both got the sausage dogs covered in onions and peppers. Fresh off the grill, this was an absolute delight years in the making. We have talked about the wonderful smell of the peppers and onions cooking as have some of you as you drove down the strip. Stop. Just stop and get the sausage already! It's worth it!
We're nostalgic on the place because we've been patrons since the 1990s, but the place is showing it's age, the restrooms are usually not that great, the games haven't been keeping up with other local places for years, and the service is meh if you can find someone. We still enjoy going, but they are definitely surviving off the corn dogs and cheese steak upfront these days vs the arcade. I hope they make some improvements to games, prizes, and basic infrastructure in the future so our kids and eventual gra
Some of the best sausage dogs you will find in the Smokey Mountains. They never fail to meet my taste for them. The staff are always polite and friendly.
We usually get great corn dogs here but on Sunday May 21,2023 they were not good. Tasted old and crunch but not in a good way. If they sit on a flat top all day or for hrs they should make new ones. I dont like paying for food that I know usually tastes awesome.
We visit this arcade every time we're in Gatlinburg. They have a nice little variety of games, and the people working this past time were super friendly, and they were great when one of the machines we were playing malfunctioned. The worker was able to get it back up and running in just a few minutes. The ticket to money ratio is probably the best of any arcade we've ever been to. This is the first arcade where we've ever gotten a huge prize from. We'll definitely be back on our next trip!
This arcade was by far the best we tried out throughout the strip. We were there atleast 4 times in the week!! Thankyou!!
Best corn dog I've ever had. They batter and fry them right in front of you, and the lemonade was good too. Gonna try the sausage dog next time it smelled really good too. Did not visit the arcade it looked like any other arcade I've ever seen lol.
The arcade is on the smaller size and the line for the food is inside the arcade which makes it difficult to get to the games around the line. Otherwise, it's your standard arcade with similar games to the rest. The sausage cooking on the flat top will draw you in to try it. The sausage isn't bad, but underwhelming. I didn't try their famous ogle dog, so that might be worth a try.
Always been wanting to try this after walking by and smelling it. It did not disappoint. Yum!
Corn dogs awesome along with the sausage and peppers. Great food and price, best in the arena for a mobile snack. They should expand into just food instead of the rest of the games they had there.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
