Family Fun Center

Family Fun Center

Reviews Summary

The Family Fun Center receives mixed but generally positive feedback, with many praising its variety of activities (mini-golf, arcade, playground) and excellent staff, particularly party hosts. Food quality and cleanliness are inconsistent, with some noting outdated or dirty areas. Negative reviews highlight issues with broken games, rude staff, and poor age enforcement in play areas. While most families enjoy their visits, especially for birthday parties, some express frustration with maintenance and management. The center excels when staff is attentive but falters with upkeep and occasional service lapses.

We have been coming here for years and it used to be fun. Now the place is falling to shambles. Way less machines and most games are either malfunctioning or not working at all. The only new machines are the ones that you are trying to catch something to immediately gain a ton of points. White collar crime at its best?. And in a place for children. The owner should be ashamed of himself and invest some money in the place. Not everything can be profits.

I have come to Family fun Center since I was a kid. We love this place and I bring my two kids a few times a month ??

It's been a while since zi went to an arcade. No more vintage games. All are high Def games or skill based games. The mini golf was fun. They take care of the course. Vegetation is perfect. Great landscape.

The Family Fun Center offers a wide range of exciting activities and amenities that cater to the entire family. From an array of games to golfing, delicious food, and a spacious, well-organized environment, this place truly has something for everyone. One of the highlights of our visit was the extensive selection of games. The variety ensured that everyone in our family, regardless of age or interests, found something enjoyable to participate in. The games were well-maintained, and we never encountered any

We were invited to a bday party wish it was nice . However the lack of decor at the party area was sad just a plastic table cloth, some pitcher with soda and punch, pizza, chicken fingers I think they could do a lot better for the price. The server was nice but seem a tad stress. Games were broken but staff was nice and helpful. The playground could use a deep clean.

My friend and I wanted a day away from "adulting" so we chose this place. There's a lot of games to choose from, and like everywhere else, you purchase a card to use on the machines. Some do take tokens, but unfortunately, they didn't work. We tried the pinball machines, which is what we really wanted to play, but neither worked. The clerk did refund our lost tokens, but we couldn't use them on broken machines. We did enjoy Air Hockey, SkeeBall, Connect 4, Shooting targets, and yes, Miss PacMan. For a separ

We took our toddler to Family Fun Center for a day of family fun, and little did we know, we were in for a wild ride. From the moment we walked through the doors, our little whirlwind of energy was off like a rocket. It all started in the play area, where our toddler climbed, slid, and giggled with uncontainable excitement. But that was just the warm-up. The real adventure began when we hit the game floor. There was no game left untouched, no coin card left safe. Our little one darted from the claw machine

I had purchased a family package online prior to our visit. I brought a cake there because we were only a small group (4ppl) unfortunately I didn't call in advance to see if it was OK . Policy is that you need to book a party in order to bring outside foods. (Which makes sense. It just didn't even cross my mind) Thankfully, after I explained my circumstances, the manager made an exception for us. This meant more to us than she probably knows. We had such a great time. Our package was $60 and it included

We hosted our daughter's 9th birthday party here last Friday. It was so much fun!!!! From the moment we booked, their amazing manager, Cathy, was so helpful and kind. It was my first time having a party outside of our home and it didn't disappoint. The kids had a blast. Our party host, Aidan, helped keep us all on track with time and serving food. It was super affordable too. I highly recommend it!

We had our 3year old daughter birthday party and Victoria was our host. She was amazing, very attentive and kind. She took care of everything above and beyond.Definitely going back. The birthday packages are great. Friendly environment and very organized.

Don't go on your birthday with a cake they will ask you to leave. They want 150 dollars to book a private room they give you a slice of pizza and a little cup of drink. No cake no balloons. We had 10 people spent 300 dollars on just the games. We were going to eat 3 or 4 pizzas and drinks. Then we were going to play Putt-Putt but we were asked to leave. We weren't taking up anyone's else's space. I don't recommend going unless you want to spend 150 dollars for the room. It's more like family give me your m

Thanks you so much Victoria for your great help and you make my daughter?s birthday so special and next level with your generous attitude and you are so thoughtful during party. I like family fun center and also their staff as they are so humble and helpful. Thank you Victoria again for your all great support to make our party successful. You are a great host, keep up the good work!!

Love the Family Fun Center! It is just what it's name says, ?Family Fun!? This place was our saving Grace for celebrating both of our son?s birthdays (in March and November) during the pandemic. Everything was very clean and sanitized. I appreciate the masks were merely recommended, but not required to enjoy their facility. The prices are reasonable and games are actually manageable to win a good amount of tickets on (unlike some other places, such as Chuck E Cheese where you're lucky to walk away with a t

Took my grand daughter to play mini golf and some games. She had a wonderful time and won tickets to trade in for prizes.

I've been visiting the Family Fun Funtasia Area with my child for several years, but I was really disappointed during my last visit. I was surprised to find out that it ?closes at 8 PM on Wednesdays?. After a long drive, it was upsetting to leave with a crying child. I hope they can improve communication about their hours in the future.

So fun! The putt-putt was very cute and they have tons of arcade games with reloadable cards for tokens. We came here twice during our 2-day visit to the area because my son loved it so much! I do wish they'd paint or decorate the outside of the building some, because it looks worn-down, but otherwise fun, fun place!

Love love LOVE this place! Bring my daughter here all the time to play on the in-door play center and occasionally run off to play a few games. They even have a little retro games area hidden in the back behind all the new games. The laser secret agent room is fun, the mini golf is incredible, and laser tag is fantastic for big, older groups. There's something for everyone here!

Nice little place to bring your kids. Arcade is focused on game tickets which is pretty cool. Don't come expecting an awesome arcade though. It's mediocre at best.

My 19 month year old daughter was almost trampled twice and hit once while playing in the 3 years and younger section. As posted 3 years and younger in the specific section. Although 5/6/7/8 year old kids running through it either not being supervised or all while being accompanied by their parents unable to control their own children or not simply reading a sign. PLEASE!! make it more clear to parents that sections have age ranges to protect younger children from being hurt by older kids. Or add a body li

I enjoyed bringing my kids here for a birthday party. There are a lot of games here and even for my younger 2 and 1/2-year-old I could bring him to Play in the area with the playground. It was awesome. Definitely going to come back again.

When it came to redemption of tickets, the guy helping us, Scrawny curly haired, glasses, we told him we wanted the squirrel Mario, he was already on the ladder and had it in his hands, another worker said that the family he was helping asked for it first but than why didn't he have it first? Guy helping us gave the Mario to the other guy while he was still on the ladder, legit ruined the whole experience, will never go again just cause of that. Horrible worker! He could at least said I already have it for

My grandkids love this place. We go here every time we visit from out of state. Great ?? day activities. Mini golf, Lazer tag, Air Hockey, and Vault Assault are extra activities if you don't want to play arcade games. For the little ones, there is an indoor playground area with climbing, ball pits, etc.

Had our boy's birthday party there. Everything was managed , and the customer service was outstanding.

We had our son?s 7th birthday party here and Victoria was awesome!! She was so helpful, kind and attentive. The kids had a blast!!

I didn't expect it to be as nice as it is, but it is FANTASIC! We stuck to funtasia, the indoor play space inside. $5.50 and our tots were in heaven running everywhere, unlimited play. It is fabulous. I appreciate the thoughtfully placed benches and tables and chairs all over, so there is so much room for you to sit down and always be able to see the little ones. It's a gate that locks to get in and out, so it feels safe and you can actually exhale for a moment! They especially loved at the front there were

Good pleasant staff with plenty to do! My son and I really enjoyed puttputt and had a blast inside with the games! We left happy!

Today we celebrated our son?s 7th birthday and we had the best experience! A huge thank you to our party hostess, Emily! She was the best and she made everything seamless and easy so we could focus on our son and all of his guests. We would definitely book another party here in the future!

We were visiting Florida during our kids' spring break, and as much as they loved the theme park we went to, they both said they enjoyed the arcade even MORE. We did go at non-peak times and took advantage of their Midweek Playtime Pass, which was a fantastic value. The kids had a blast, got to burn off a ton of energy, and collect some very respectable prizes at the end. I would not hesitate to stop by again the next time we're anywhere close. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and reasonably priced. T

We love the family fun center. They have so much to do and everything is reasonably priced.

Went with my daughter and her family and played miniature golf. Nice course. Then we went inside had pizza, which was very good, and the grandchildren played some games.

We went for putt putt. Course was clean. Prices were reasonable. Nothing exceptional. Course is very basic, no frills.

This place is amazing! A go-to family favorite and the pizza is great! We will be regulars here!

Great place to take your kids after school to decompress ?? Birthday or Team Parties, Pizza, Fantasia, Laser Tag and Arcade there's fun for all ages!

This place has fun for the entire family. There's an 18 hole miniature golf course, children's play area, arcade games, lazer tag, a pizza restaurant, and it also has an ATM located indoors.

So much fun for our 2 year old and even us. Food is fantastic, staff is all friendly, my child LOVES the play area and the arcade is mine and my husband's guilty pleasure lol

It was clean, affordable, and fun! The playground was a great size and our toddlers had a blast. The food wasn't bad for the price either.

I have loved this place since preschool. Yes I am 28 now, and yes I still go here to gamble my money away for toys. Am I ashamed? Heck no. The staff is always nice, the games are always cool and clean, and the prizes are pretty great as well. (I won myself a giant mushroom today) I will always love this place and I'll keep going back until I can't walk anymore. Then I'll just have someone wheel me around in a wheel chair and I'll keep racking up those tickets. Bet!

We went for the kids nye party and had the best time! What a fun special event it was for our family. The staff here is great. We are in from out of town visiting family and will be back!

Heyyyy everyone ?? Family fun center was amazing we spent the whole day there playing arcade games and doing some family friendly competitions.. We sat down for some yummy lunch food they serve pizza and they're wings are delicious. The staff is friendly and courteous the place is clean bathrooms bathrooms are accessible for the handicap handicap they have laser tag. So if you get the chance to visit family fun center in Florida You will be thoroughly enjoyed Don't forget to rack up on your tickets so you

Did our daughter?s 7th birthday here a week ago. We did the deluxe package and the kids had a blast. We could not do something like this at home for even close to that price. The kids loved mini golf and the play area? party planner guy was awesome and kept things moving well. overall a very good experience.

My son had a blast there! Very good admission price.

Great family place! Plenty of games and who doesn't enjoy a round of miniature golf!

This was our first time ever going to family fun center. My 4 year old had a non stop blast for 3.5 hours! We loved it so much, I went ahead and booked her birthday party months in advance!!! We will definitely be coming back! My kiddo gives it two thumbs up!

We take our grandkids here, clean, safe, helpful staff, great pizza for lunch. They have a great indoor play area for littles ( cool a/c ) and a huge gameroom, laser tag and mini golf. We have been several times and consistently a great family atmosphere, an asset to Lakeland.

The inside was clean, including the restrooms. All staff wore masks and were friendly. The mini golf course was well-maintained. I did not give it five stars because like many places around, despite posting signs that patrons should wear masks, the business did not enforce it. At least half of customers did not wear masks inside and outside. Those who did not wear outside were not social distancing.

We celebrated my daughter's 8th birthday party at Family Fun Center. Our party host, Layla, was absolutely AMAZING! She went above and beyond ensuring we had everything we needed and made sure every child was happy. I am so thankful for such a wonderful experience, highly recommend!

this woman right here ruined my whole experience. she hit my kids hands when they pointed at what they wanted, rolled her eyes and had a nasty attitude towards them, flirted with my husband and had an attitude with me like she was entitled to something? let's be serious?.i?ve never encountered such a disgusting human being. i will no longer be returning, and hope she is fired. a waste of money, time, and disgusting workers!

Cool mini-putt course. Great indoor games. Nachos were awesome.

I gave this place a second chance, yet a lot of the games still gave the same old errors, it's like they don't even try to fix the games properly, food is good but overall not a good game experience.

Lots to do! Would be 5 stars if I could pay the difference for tickets prizes in cash that way I didn't have a screaming 4 yr old on my hands!

We had a great time I love all the games and the pizza is yummy a great place to bring the kids?????????

I have been going to family fun center for over 10 years. My family and I still love this place. Very clean and helpful staff. I also love that all the arcade games work,as most places have technical issues with all the games. The play area is wonderful especially for the littlest ones, its huge!

My 2 and 3, almost 4 year old LOVE this place! They might as well be spokespeople for the FFC! My parents, who live in Lakeland, take them when they have them at their house. So we wanted to try it and ended up driving over from Tampa for them to go last Sunday. It's a little outdated and feels a tad dirty, but that may be just bc it's old. And I am admittedly a clean freak. However, there is a ton for them to do, and the indoor playground is a kids' dream! My husband even got in there and played some old s

Great place to bring the family for a fun & challenging game of miniature ????????...if you'd rather hang out inside the ac they have a wide variety of video games.

Very clean and safe place to take the kids. There is a play area for toddlers and a larger play area for older children. The snacks and foods that are available are inexpensive and the quality is better than what one would expect. They have outdoor putt putt golf, and an indoor game room arcade with available games for those of any age. It is a fun day trip for the days in florida when the weather is rainy, or too hot outside.

Lots of fun for kids. This is a great place for a birthday party or a rainy day. The pizza is pretty good, too.

I had a great moment today, my son?s birthday was great thank you, and thanks Victoria to be gentle and for help us in everything!

Decent food and prices. Lazer tag, arcade games, giant play area. All things cost but great value overall.

We went to Family Fun Center on the last day of school for seniors in Pasco a couple of weeks ago. We started out with putt-putt. The course looks like it could have been nice at one point, but the water all around was dark green and dank. There was a bloated dead turtle floating in the pond. We worked our way around, and near the end, there was a dead bird in the middle of one of the courses. It was dried out like it had been there a while. I have never seen a dead animal on a course, much less two. I told

One time I ran into my mom's employee's daughters babysitter in the bathroom.

A great place to let the kids burn off some energy. Easily can spend hours here without worry.

The laser activity is not worth it. And the prices you get are kinda pricey for little things. The food was pretty good and was decent price. Some of the machines took my tokens but didn't allow me to play. But my kids had fun and that is all that matters

Love this Spot. Fun for the Boys and my Babygirl is always working. ??????

Neighborhood fun place with games and prizes. They have good deals and great hours.

We live in Wesley Chapel and drive the hour to come here. It's worth the drive and every penny spent while there. The pizza is good to boot! Kids have a blast we ha e a 12 and two 4yr olds.

The kids had a good time. The pizza was terrible, cold and on the verge of raw. The tunnel area had a disgusting smell. Some of the games were held together with zip ties. I wouldn't recommend it.

We love Family Fun Center! It's always clean, the games are well maintained and the people are friendly. Great place for a birthday party, or just a few hours of entertainment.

Such a fun place for kids! Food is yummy and well priced. Kind service. Plenty to keep busy with. Playground is an extra fee. The only thing I would change...is to see staff wipe down gaming buttons. We spent 3 hrs there...not one clean up was seen. Dirty kid fingers everywhere. Better toy options too would be nice for ticket redemption. Golf is so so...all holes are Par 2. Gets boring.

Always a safe environment

Nice and clean. Wasn't overcrowded on a Tuesday mid-day.

Super annoying that they won't take $200+ in business because you need to get there to mini golf an hour before closing instead of 45 minutes.

Good place for kids and loud safe my 10 had a lot of fun in there today for a birthday party thank you it was excellent the little girl that helped us was good my boys of course enjoyed the laser tag again it was very good and this is coming from a grandma so you know I've never done nothing like this the boys aged from 8:00 to 12:00 and they all said they had a blast thank you again

I recently visited the Family Fun Center and had an okay experience. The variety of games, laser tag, and mini golf were enjoyable, providing some entertainment for a casual outing. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had a decent time. However, some of the facilities and equipment seemed a bit dated and in need of maintenance. While it was a fun way to spend an afternoon, I couldn't help but feel that there is potential for improvement in terms of updating the overall experience.

Putt putt was very fun and reasonable. Winner for to spin For free prize!!! They had lots of games to play and prizes to choose from.

This place is great for kids! Parent perspective: I wish it was cleaner, specifically at the indoor playground. Many games also just take your tokens without letting you play. Every trip, we've had to tell someone about a game issue. The scanner will change to green with "enjoy your game" displayed, then never starts.

My daughter wanted her birthday at family fun center this year. I was nervous about it, but our party host Layla was great! She was able to assist in every way needed and calmed all my nerves. The party was a hit! ??????

OMG this place is so much fun! My grandkids had so much fun, I thought they would be too young to be able to do anything but they kept asking to go so I gave in and took them. I was so wrong! They are 3 & 4 yrs old and they had the best time! Any younger and they wouldn't be able to do most of the stuff here but 3 & up they will have a blast! I recommend this place to everyone!,

The place was pretty nice however the staff wasn't very friendly, more so kind of rude. I went there last night 12/19/23 with some friends and my family. Whoever the blonde girl was who was working in the play areas seemed to be afraid to tell us it was closing. She would do random walks every now and then but never said anything so she had someone else come and say something. So we went to the arcade part and it was nice until the were closing and instead of saying something the just started closing around

This place definitely takes arcade to a whole new level and their Putt-Putt golf is really fun, my eight-year-old son and I had an amazing time! Their laser tag room was awesome, definitely better than any other laser tag I have ever played and we had so much fun and they give you plenty of time, you get a vest with the gun attached to it. The inside of the darkroom you enter is way bigger than I thought it would be and it has different hallways and places with cutout areas to peek over and look through and

Came for a birthday. Laser tag, indoor playground, games! Only down side is some kids has the mentality (as the parent/caregivers/ adults ) had a slight nose in the air, (looks at my kid like she's a alien) as my friendly 5 year old just likes to make conversations with kids and try to interact with other kids. Since this is a kid indoor spaces.. but hey , maybe I'm wrong?.. IYKYK..

The place is a lot of fun. The workers/staff not so much. They stand around and talk among themselves and act bored to death. No one walking among the arcade games to see if anyone needs help. No workers in the Funtasia Play area to observe. Several parents let their kids go and never looked up from their phones. Would have been nice to see the workers interact with people. When you go, be prepared to ask a lot of questions if you don't know the situation on how things work. They won't volunteer any informa

Young teens coming to hang out for a friend?s birthday NOT WELCOME because someone has a gift. We barely made it through the door before a manager confronts us with their ?party policy?, saying we can't come and spend money in their establishment if we are celebrating a birthday and it's not booked in one of their party rooms. There's no cake, no party, just a group of teens trying to eat some pizza and play games but because we are holding a gift we are immediately accosted upon entering? Ridiculous! Maybe

I'd give it 5 stars but there's no free wifi here. Many times we go to the jungle play area and my 6 year old handles himself pretty well. Sometimes we get the McDonald's wifi but it's not easy.

Pretty much what you would expect. Some games don't work most do. It's very loud inside bring ear plugs. Has a good pizza and ice cream cafe inside, decent prices. Think a bit run down smaller family fun centers like you would find all over the country.

Greatest time for adults and kids mini golf 18 holes to explore excited grandson what more can you ask for

My kids love this place. The play area is clean and the staff monitor the kids frequently. The snack bar is fairly priced and the food is good.

Cool spot for family and especially kids. Ft safe and lots to do. The mini golf is cool. Only thing I don't like is if you have a birthday you must buy cake from them to eat it there? that's absurd.

Love to bring my daughter here! We usually just do Funtasia but sometimes we will do the arcade too! The pizza is AMAZING, idk what's so special about it but it's just so good, I could seriously come here just to take a pizza and leave! And the food/drinks are so cheap. I got a small pizza and two drinks for my daughter and her friend and it was only 10 dollars, it has 6 slices and filled them up with leftovers.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
