Pools were down at the property we were staying and we were looking for another fun Family option. We found a great distraction with Faizy's Fun House Arcade.....not to mention they have a tap room too on the 2nd floor with quite a few beers on tap, bottled and can beers, select wines by the glass and some nice bottles you could buy if you felt so inclined! We ended up getting to meet the owners and they were so welcoming from the moment we walked through the doors. The tap room upstairs was icing on th
Charming modern little gem in the heart of Main Street. Fairly small storefront just like most of the little businesses along the street but a cute selection of arcade games on both first and second floors. Now for the parents, there is an adorable bar upstairs with a selection of beers on tap that you can pick and choose on your own and pay by the ounce. If you're indecisive like me and want to try everything, it is perfect! Absolutely awesome to get to shoot some hoops or hang out with a beer in hand whil
Great place for kids, or adults, or adults with kids! Adults can head upstairs for beers on tap, a la 16 handles for beer while the kids play video games. All prices are very reasonable, I wish we had found it sooner in our trip. We will definitely come back.
I had an amazing experience at this arcade! The bar area was fantastic ? cozy and welcoming. What made it even better was the added bonus of being able to watch the kids through a camera that overlooks the game area, so we could relax and enjoy our drinks while keeping an eye on them. The bartender was absolutely amazing - friendly, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. It's the perfect spot to unwind and have some fun with the family. Highly recommend!
The woman behind the desk was incredibly rude when it came time to redeems our credits. My son had won over 2000 points but the machine showing the credits was way off. We were told ?the machine is never wrong?. She then later changed her tune and said there was initially a delay and that he needed to be patient but said so in an incredibly rude and combative manner. When I asked her to please not speak to us that way and why she didn't offer that explanation in the first place all gloves were off and
Been up to Lake Placid a number of times and figured I would try out this new establishment. Kind of a unique place for Lake Placid as it is an arcade but also serves beer and wine along with having 36 taps where you get charged by the ounce. Really cool as you can try a number of beers before pouring a full pint and you help yourself with a beer card. Talked with the staff and they will be getting a liquor license soon and will also have an indoor miniature golf course soon. Was nice to relax and have a dr
We got two game cards for our kids and headed up to the bar and when we realized there was no one behind there, my husband called Yoo-hoo, anyone here? The woman who was working downstairs came up and said, ?don't go behind my bar.? And he said ?I wasn't? and I joked ?I'd never let him.? She then doubled down saying she saw him on the camera going behind the bar. We said there's no way and she was welcome to check the footage. She kept going so my husband said ?maybe I don't want a drink.? So we walked off
It's a small cute arcade. They have good amount of arcade and claw machines. It's good to spend some time with kids or friends. Price was reasonable for tourist spot but claw machines were so hard to get plushes! That was a little bit shame ?? But it was fun. It's fun to visit while you're visiting lake placid area.
Fun arcade for families! We stopped inside to get out of the cold for a bit and kids had so much fun. Staff were super friendly. My kids keep asking when we can go back!
SCAM ALERT* ...or terrible treatment of customers at best... When you swipe the card it sometimes reads as an error, but still takes your credits. My wife swiped 3 times until it worked. This happened shortly after arrival, so I was able to check our credits and do the math. I approached the employee and explained what had happened and requested the credits be restored to our card. Instead of responding in a helpful manner, she said "I can't do that. Why would you keep swiping?" There is no way of seeing
Quite expensive for an arcade although I understand that we are in a tourist area it's just a tad out of reach probably for some families who come here.... My boys had a nice time just feel you could do better
A fun hangout and place to play. My wife and I kept spending $25 everytime we passed this place because we are competitive and it's fun. The upstairs bar portion with additional games is pretty cool too. The prizes are not great though. Even the very high ticket prizes are nothing to write home about. One of the highest value prizes was literally just a soccer ball and you'd probably need to spend $500 to earn it. My wife and I are adults so we don't really care but I did see a small girl who was probabl
Place is great?kids had a blast?bartender made sure everyone was having a good time..both kids and parents
I have never seen a worker at a family entertainment venue mistreat children the way the employee at Faizy's did. It was shocking and abhorrent to witness this kind of behavior first hand. I looked for contact information for the owner before I left so I could share my experience directly, but saw none posted in the store. I am concerned for the safety of young patrons at this establishment. Parents - proceed with caution and choose your children's entertainment in Lake Placid carefully.
The most frustrating thing about this arcade is that, if you walk around, you'll see each game has a different credit cost. It ranges between 4-8 credits, didn't see anything more expensive than that but I didn't check every machine. When you go to the ticket machine, directly inside the door, it gives you a range of prices starting at $10 and up, even a seemingly customizable one for credits... but does not tell you how much you are getting in credits until you actually pay for it. So if I pay $10 in cred
While I'm happy to see an arcade in Lake Placid, this one doesn't have much for games and is really kind of cramped. I understand it's still new and that will likely eventually be remedied but for the moment, it is definitely lacking. The games it does have pay out very little points/tickets and some pay out none at all (and don't tell you this). After spending $90 with 3 people playing we ended up with only 425 points combined which was enough to get an item of approximately $3 value. While I was hoping to
My recent experience at Faizy?s Fun House Arcade in Lake Placid was absolutely fantastic. The selection of games so far is not a bad start and to know that they will be having more games coming soon is great. I'll be a returning visitor every time I'm in the area. The staff at Faizy's Fun House Arcade is the true heartbeat of the place. Their unwavering enthusiasm and genuine dedication to customer satisfaction create an unparalleled experience. It's nice to see the staff go the extra mile to ensure patron
Awesome place..lots of fun.. Highly recommend
Stopped in to check out Fairy's Fun House with a few friends. The adults had as much fun as the kids. Great selection of games, friendly staff. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.
Great place on main st for kids and adults! Lots of fun great staff
Nothing special: claw machines in other games that you can get tickets for cheap prizes. The claw machines at this establishment are very obviously rigged. Don't expect to win unless you do your part right 10 times in a row.
The guy running this place is extremely rude. We came in with a few of our hockey kids for the Can/Am hockey tournament and they were super excited to go to this arcade. He was so grumpy and rude right off the bat as soon as we came in the doors. Totally ruined our experience.
Guy at the counter was extremely rude, my son was so excited to go for the Can/am tournament ?? the guy at the counter ruined the experience and was rude right off the bat. Seemed like he had something against hockey kids. Another parent in our group wentt back the next day and had the same experience. Save tour money and go elsewhere!!!!!!!!!
My eleven year old enjoyed this little arcade. It has skeetball, air hockey, claw machines and other typical games. The cost is equivalent to simiar arcades.
Dirty first off and to crowded to the point you cant even play games because there isnt enough room without having to move for someone to get by you. A bar upstairs opening with children playing games is a big mistake. Enough bars in this town already find a new gig.
The guy behind the counter was super helpful and directive. It was a bonus that he cheered on my gun skills. Expensive for sure but worth the fun experience!
Not impressed with any of the games or prizes there, didn't see any staff around until I went upstairs through a shady side entrance, and wasn't even acknowledged by them, had a few questions about the establishment, but honestly never mind, I will not returning!
Stopped by here with my family while we were waiting for a nearby dinner reservation. Family was having so much fun we ended up being late to dinner! Place is super clean too. Would highly recommend!
Total rip off. *Each* game is $6-8!! We paid $26 for 30 credits, and most games cost 6-8 credits.
Had a blast here!! Great games, can't wait unit the rest of the floors open up. Faizy putting the F in "Fun"
Worst place I've ever been! The guy behind the counter was so rude to the kids and was on his phone the whole time. We were asking him simple questions and it was like we were bothering him?! Honestly don't ever go there.
Great beers upstairs but they were out of the one I wanted to try. The music is a bit loud.
Low variety of arcade games. They take you 1$ for the arcade card and on return no reimbursement. Won't recommend
Great facility amazing staff always friendly and attentive I always have fun when I come here and will definitely recommend to other people for a fun place to visit.
Great spot! Fun for the whole family
Dirty, expensive, crowded and an extremely rude man at the counter. The owner pretends he isn't the owner. Don't waste your time going here.
Fun, but wish they actually paid out tickets :/ at the very least they could have a sign letting people know in advance
Went there last night & had a great time! Very clean & great employees ! Will definitely be back.
Terrible. Games cost a fortune, and last about 10 seconds. Worst arcade ever.
Horrible customer service. The lady was rude and misreble
Had a blast! Super nice & clean. Employees are so nice!
They do not open at 10:00.
Very good took the kids and they loved it!??
I had a lot of fun there with my friends
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
