Fairwood Lanes

Fairwood is a fun yet safe place for families and singles to gather for games, music, drinks, and really good food. We've been frequenting them for years now and have a consistently good experience!

A great place to bowl, eat and have lots of fun! The employees at the bar and restaurant are very nice and the wings are delicious!!! Wally is a riot! His balloons and humor are an amazing feature.

The service was absolutely fantastic. The food was actually pretty decent and the price was very fair. We will definitely be back.

Let me start by saying I barely write a bad review I'd say almost never . Saturday we went to watch love tribe play which I love to see. WE went to meet friends there and this is not my normal . place but we went in and it was not a bad crowd so I ordered a round of 7 drinks for me and my friends and the titos was 50 percent water and that is a 100 percent fact. i ordered a double for me and my wife and it wasn't strong and this was my 1 st drink of the night so I'm like whats up with this .

This was our first time going. My husband and I took our two youngest children and we had a blast! Great and friendly atmosphere! That's what I loved the most I didnt feel like I was out of place. Employees where very friendly. My girls loved the basket of fries they got. And they are excited and keep asking when we are going back!

I remember this bowling alley from my early childhood. The years that it was shut down was upsetting since it was one of the few things to do in RR. However, after its revamping by some of the locals, this place is incredible now! I love coming here to bowl and the food is of great quality, contrary to what one may think about eating in a bowling alley. Fun place to spend time. Super busy on weekends and highly recommend going on the weekdays.

Fairwood Lanes is an awesome place to be if you want to hang out and relax with a game or two of bowling :) , the atmosphere is amazing , the staff is friendly and they interact with their clientele we will always choose Fairwood Lanes for bowling and parties

I love fairwood lanes we had my sons birthday party here and they were so nice and friendly and recognized my son for his bday so I would recommend having your bday party at fairwood lanes and they support local schools

The wings, pizza, and alcoholic beverages are the best here and Friday nights are a vibe. The staff is so nice. We have a great time each time we visit.

Great place to bowl at.......but tonight I went for the first time and I didn't know that they had a band playing at 8:30pm. I show up at 6:15pm and they made me pay for an entry fee of $20 for the band and they don't even start until 8:30pm ??

Great beer options on tap. The best in RR. Great bar food. Wings are tasty. I saw the pizza and it looked very tasty. Try out "The Misfits" bar. It's high class with exceptional owners and service.

Only went to Misfits Grill. A must try. Awesome staff. Get the hot honey wings. You will not be disappointed. You can even do your order online and they will text you when it's ready

They say you come as friends and leave as family and this is so true. Nicole and the staff are the sweetest people you have ever seen. They go above and beyond to treat all children with such kindness. They are so accommodating to kids with disabilities too. The food is hot and delicious, too. We are so grateful for all they do for our little boy in the lee wee league. The owners are also very sweet and we are so thankful they opened this up for our community. We love you guys!

The lanes were waxed wrong to where when you rolled it would pull the ball to the left every time, making it impossible to play.

We brought our family reunion out Saturday night. We had an amazing time. They had a great time. The menu is amazing. The bar is HUGE for those who indulge. The general manager was great and she went above and beyond.

The family fun bowling place... we celebrated my grandson's birthday here an the atmosphere is amazingly beautiful. Everyone is friendly and kind especially the staff. The music is wonderful, the place is super clean, and the prices are great. We enjoyed ourselves....

I mean, the new owners are great! They told me when I entered that it was better but I wasn't sure what to expect. Surely enough we had a great time. It was totally worth checking out. If you're bored go check it out.

We celebrated my 1 year old birthday here on 8/19. The hospitality was great. The buffalo wings were so good. They were fried to perfection. The drinks was another hit. The bartender was amazing at suggestions. My family of 25 plus had an amazing time bowling here. We will be returning. Thank you for everything!

What a fantastic place! We had my Sons 15th birthday & I had forgotten to call & make reservations. The owners were more than happy to help me & set us up with not one but two lanes on the spur of the moment,even though they were having league nite & were packed.Can not thank you guys enough!!! I'm from out of state. Dropped in for R&R while traveling 95. I loved this place. Full restaurant on site. Lanes were well conditioned. Shot a 199 (140avg). My partner shot 2, 200+ games. The staff was so friendly. Presented that NC charm. Games were reasonablely priced. I will definitely return.

The cocktail drink I ordered was $10.00, it was not worth it. This drink was a hurricane cocktail. This was on a Saturday afternoon recently and the staff seem to be stuck up to say the least. I did not feel welcome that much. The bartender female needs to be trained on mixology of cocktail making, I could barely taste any alcohol at all. This is my first time here since it's official opening day. Lastly, some positive things I can point out is that the personal pan pizza was okay but not great needs work.

Nice place! On the day we were there they were understaffed, but the staff that was working did an exceptional job handling the extra stress. Our lanes were oilly and one lane had some mechanical difficulties, but we had a good time. The bar is fantasticly stocked!

My husband and I met with my Aunt and Uncle for a late lunch and some drinks. Between all of us we ordered burgers, cheese fries, steak and cheese, artisan chips and pizza, all of which was amazing!!!! I was overly impressed. I was here years ago and preferred the Rocky Mount bowling alley over this one but that's a thing of the past. The parking lot was full so I almost didn't go in but tried anyway. They have law enforcement on premises for security but they don't bother. Despite alot of cars the place wasn't packed. It's spacious, has a bar, games, prizes, food, jukebox and all. It's a totally different family fun vibe. This place is highly recommended....

We had a group of 55 teenagers that we needed something to do with in a short period of time and these guys were amazing. The staff was super accommodating and caring, the kids had a fantastic time. I would recommend Fairwood Lanes anytime.

During my first time bowling, I'd not only won 2 matches against my friend, but was blown away by its reopening renovations and modern remodeling interior design. We love going out there and meeting up with our friends, they have a full bar and a grill with a large menu of yummy food! A arcade for the kids and a patio! It's a fun place to go,I recommend you check it out,you will be glad you did!

Bar is fantastic with selection. Understaffed, but still great service. I walked in and almost left, but bartender made things right and we stayed and had a nice afternoon.

Me and my family really enjoyed and had a good time bowling there. It was my son birthday and the staff was very accommodating. I would suggest this for any family. It was also very affordable. Definitely will be go back again!!!

Has made it inviting to every person all ages and their interest and that is an ongoing thing Amazing person and an amazing place. I gave this place a try for me and wife and kids but my experience was so bad. Food I had nachos and fries the nachos cheese was very watery and fries were ok. But the worst experience was the bowling the pin rack got stuck the entire night and Manger would not reset the game. mechanical issues were bad and I look over everyone was having issues. I would not recommend the bowling maybe the drink Never will again.

The service at Fairwood lanes is beyond the best! Nicole is always above and beyond. This is such a great place to come on the weekend. The drinks and food always meet and exceed expectations. Stop by and have the best night!

AMAZING. I recently moved to the region from Hampton Roads, and as soon as I walked in the door, I knew that Fairwood Lanes was going to be my new bowling home. The staff is gracious and accommodating, the lane conditions are excellent, and the food at Misfits is the best I've ever had at a bowling center. You would have to drive 100 miles, to Richmond or Virginia Beach, to find a comparable bowling experience. Keep up the great work!

First time trying Take-out got flounder plates. Meal was delicious plenty of food at a very reasonable price. Will definitely be a permanent customer from now on

BIGGEST LET DOWN OF MY LIFE. 10 dollars a person to even walk through the door, just to get inside and find out there is a 3 hour wait-list to actually bowl!? At 7 in the evening!? The Place was so packed with old codgers sitting at the bar since opening that I had to push my way through a crowd just to get to the bathroom, then the arcade left more than enough to be desired with overpriced games and poorly kept machines. Biggest waste of time you could commit to in this town.

The food is great and we would've bowled but they had bday parties and a tournament going on. Definitely busy on the weekend so that tells you this is the place to go.

Such nice people and they took in my band of 70 people when we were stuck in North Carolina for 5 hours on our road trip home to Florida. I highly recommend this place, it was super fun!

Ok, many thanks to the Robinsons for restoring the bowling alley of my high school years better than ever before. They have the best craft beer and Bourbon selection available at the bar in the Roanoke Valley (trust me, I know I've traveled extensively and for Roanoke Rapids this is the best bar selection! In the area) I have been here 3 times but only ordered from the food menu once.
