You purchase 6 minutes per race or you can ask for a 12 minute race. It was a fun experience for my son. He was exhausted after a 12 minute race lol and that takes a lot to wear him out. They have a pool table and some arcade games and crane machines, high top bar stools to over look the indoor cart area. Looks like a fun place for groups. Staff is nice and if they are not busy, staff is known to ride on the track if you ask them to race with you... I highly recommend this place.

We took our tween grandchildren here on our visit from Western NY. It was a Saturday shortly after they opened for the day. It was 'clean' but very run down. The employees were very pleasant and the best part about this place. 3 people, 3 races each was $121. They charged us $4.24 for paying with a debit card which is illegal in NY - only a credit card fee can be charged. The bathroom was horrible - you would think with our $125 plus dollars ($40 in tokens, $6 in snacks) that they could afford a rol

Took my daughter here for the first time today, she was nervous about driving on her own and wanted to ride with me so they let us share a tandem even though she is 9 and we had a great time. Staff was friendly and helpful and a nice facility. My keys also fell out on the track and they helped me find them. Will definitely be back.

Got second place in our second race. $53 is reasonable enough for 2 races for an adult and a minor. I've been wanting to go for a while and finally decided to check it out because of the thrift shop next door. Never checked it out because it gave rundown vibes. The inside looks like it's under construction but they have arcade games to keep you busy while you wait for your race. I recommend some giant floor games added to make the place look less empty. Will be back one day.

My mom and I came here on a weeknight. There was nobody else on the track, which was definitely nice, and we had a ton of fun! The steering requires a little muscle, so if you deal with arm or back pain keep that in mind. Katie, Cody, and Mike were friendly and polite, and it's a great place to race with space for groups to socialize, too.

Good place to take the kids, they have a lot of fun

Have never been here honestly. But if the parking lot and the flea market next door tell me anything. I wouldn't step a foot in this place. the flea market next door smells like exhaust from the go karts so bad we couldn't walk thru because my wife and daughter both got headaches instantly from walking in. The poor girl that works there has to suffer with this exhaust that smells like diesel trucks running circles around you all day indoors. She said they have had to call the fire dept 2x at least from the

A little pricey, but my two sons enjoyed it. If possible try to space out the races as they seem short. We also did the Assault course and played soccer pool. Only four start because it's not very affordable. Spent close to $190 for being there less than two hours and only the kids did activities.

Awesome experience for my teen granddaughters. Six minutes each ? heat?. Great deal, great fun! Highly recommend, will definitely go again!

We have very good alignment here I have a special machine hunter machine for whole vehicle

Fast, affordable fun. Will be back!

You can tell the place has been updated, but the bathroom is still disgusting. The carts DEFINITELY need some work!! One of the karts bumpers is dragging and even after numerous complaints they kept it going heat after heat. The helmets are NOT sprayed down between uses.....GROSS!! Yes they give you a head covering but what about your mouth?? Also, plan on spending HOURS here for just2 races and it wasn't even that busy.

Racing is all indoors so weather makes no difference. Staff is very safety conscious, especially with the younger racers. Arcade games to help with any wait time. Overall a good place to have a competitive race with friends or a fun race with the family.

These guys allow a group to run mini bikes indoor every other Sunday. It's clear they are investing in their future with new carpet and arcade games. Great time, nice track.

Great place to go and have fun. Owner is an awesome guy. Will be back for more racing fun..

Can't wait to go back! My kids and fiance and I had an amazing time. Staff was helpful and friendly. Building was clean and we'll maintained, karts were fantastic.

Absolutely a wonderful time! Fast carts and a great track.

Highly recommend, staff is great, be prepared to wait because this Go Kart track is absolutely great! They have some games while you wait, but if they add anything else, food, birthday specials, or anything else will just make this place that much better.

Always an awesome place to go. A little overpriced, but definitely alot of fun

Karts not as fast as they use to be, and have no torque. Front tires were worn down and needing replaced. They did nice remodel of lobby

This takes way to long to race I had to wait 3 hour

We had a ton of fun here. I didnt get pictures, just because we were all busy racing around the track. If you havent been atleast once, youre missing out. The karts are super fast, and its a pretty fun track.

5 star deserving for sure! My only gripe as a smaller build fellow is those hard plastic seats. Makes for a not so great time on the back. Other than that GREAT place to take the racing to a track. Fast carts and definitely will come back with a group from time to time

Awesome track carts are quick ??

I've been to extreme several times with friends and family, this place was even a stop during my bachelor party. I've never been disappointed. The karts are plenty fast, the track is fun, the rates are reasonable (they have specials throughout the week), the staff is nice, and the arcade is pretty fun too.

The car is really fast, my kids love it

Always check Groupon before your trip. You'll often save money by being prepared. A great time and they will match you with all adults or if you bring kids you will get to race with them. They could use a update on the waiting area but overall it's a blast.

This was our first time at Extreme Indoor Kart. We took our grandson there for his birthday and he loved it. The staff was extremely helpful. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it!

Our family had a blast kart racing! However, as a family who still wears a mask everywhere, seeing none of the employees wearing masks was disappointing, as well as the issue of the helmets not being disinfected between uses... We were happy that it wasn't busy and no one else was there at the time.

Love the atmosphere even with the games shut off. Racing with my friends was a def win in our books and looking forward to more races.

53 bucks!! For 2 races!!! If the Go-Karts went faster it would be worth it

Enjoyed a couple races here. Fast carts, good course. Few arcade games and pool to play while you wait, but not much else. Basic snacks available.

This was hella fun, only ran into a few people :).

Great time, went with my group of friends, while you wait to race they have a large extent of arcade games to play. When you race most of the cars either have good or bad quality of the wheels, meaning if you get a cart with bad wheels you drift everywhere but if you get a good set of tires you still drift but not as much.

I recommend calling ahead before you make a 2 hour trip to patron here. Drove all that way and they were closed for 4 hours for a birthday party! Very disappointing to say the least.

Ignore the negative comments from the 1 stars. This is a challenging business to run, and keep everybody happy. I thought they did a great job and it is really , really fun . The carts are fast and you do need to be aggressive to fully enjoy the experience. This is not a place for complainers or people with "thin skin". They have rules, but they are not militant in how they are enforced -- they use common sense which makes the overall experience more enjoyable. I recommend this place most highly. If you go

Not only was it a fun go kart experience, but the staff were above and beyond compassionate and helpful when we showed up with my elderly father in law, who is an old race car driver with a fresh terminal cancer diagnosis, who just wanted to drive one more time. We are eternally grateful!

Good prices and lot of fun! Could be a little more organized at the desk, and just before racing, a lot of rules were barked out that were not followed or enforced...

Very cool place .. fast karts, nice course..i would suggest you bring your own helmet the ones they have are beat ..

Hi so I came with my family today and I have a couple complaints that they need to fix or they will loose business. First they need ventilation in the room because of the Exhaust and not to mention the wait time is severely long. This place is called extreme go cart racing but you guys are actually very lame you hit the slow down button on cars that don't need the button. I was doing the rules and slowed down when I needed too but they it the button for nothing this place is a rip off!

The go-kart racing is super fun those things are fast, had only rode on the CJ Barrymore karts and this place beat them by far. The games they have when you first walk in are nice too. Definitely will come again.

Fantastic experience, very fun well worth the price! Wonderful indoor track

Wonderful family owned business. Great place for a get together of any type. Awesome prices even better atmosphere!

I'm confused by these reviews that state ?rude staff?. I've now booked two private parties here, one small that was as last minute as you can get, one large that was planned well in advance, and have zero complaints from either one. And that's rare for me. The owner and employees have went above and beyond both times to accommodate my requests! A few I never thought they'd honor! My family and friends always have so much fun at the parties we've had here. We talk about them for days after. One of the best p

The owners are great, they care about their business and also only hire local teens, which is needed around here. They are also the only thing fun for alot of these kids to do in this town! My family loves it, all ages. There's something for everyone to do there.

Called ahead for a birthday party and they said they don't do reservations. When we arrived they said there was a 2.5 hour wait because of reservations. Apparently they do reservations for parties of 8 or more. Place is dirty as well.

Good fast time on some real gas powered karts.

Super friendly staff! The Groupon deal was awesome as well. Came from Ann Arbor, 6 of us, and it was worth the drive! The wait wasn't bad at all considering it was Saturday night. I would recommend it to friends & we will be back!

Very friendly staff. I had a blast. Carts are quick and low to the trAck. You'll have a great time

Had a great time! Was lots of fun for all the family!

Took my son and 4 friends for his Birthday, everyone was having an amazing time until one of the boys (who is 14) was told he would get "kicked out" if he ended up in the wall again, after his cart drifted over a couple times and he got stuck. Can not believe the rude treatment after spending 200 bucks, will not be back. My husband explained to the girl at the desk the situation, she shrugged and said it's a "safety rule." I feel so bad for this young boy who stood on the sidelines for the last 2 heats beca

What a sweet place! Came for a birthday party, had an awesome time racing carts! ??????

The organization in this facility is awful. We were with a large group, so we called ahead of time to make sure this wouldn't be a problem. When we got there, it was around $170 for five of us to do three rides, and the rest of our group all paid then as well. On the phone, we were assured we would be worked in to the races in a timely matter and that it should be no problem. Two hours later (no exaggeration) we had each raced once. We had to leave as some of us had sitters, we were losing patience, an

Such a rush! It was so much gun highlight of my life so far! Definitely a must go!

The people here are so nice and very kind. Top notch machines, sweet indoor track. Clean with lots of smiles everywhere you look. The owners are so kind to everyone, give them your business, they deserve our patronage. They support our community, let's support their business.

Was a blast something fun to do in the winter

Definitely would go again had a lot of fun and loved it good way to spend time with your family and also pretty competitive I would recommend.

This place is so fun. The people that work here are amazing people and they handle everything very well. If you follow the rules they don't yell it's so nice. Very great place. Workers and owners are amazing. Would 100 percent recommend

Reasonably priced!!!! You can bring your own helmet or you can rent them!! Closed toed shoes only!!! It was alot of fun they go pretty fast!!! They have stuff to drink FOR purchase!! Also, mini arcade!!

Nice place. Staff was kind, but during weekdays get there before 4. That's when the not so nice staff arrives. Other than that, the karts are great. Older, but they perform way better than the ones at Kart 2 Kart on Van Dyke ave. Track is also well laid out, good for picking up speed but also good for getting the upper hand on your friends around corners ;)

So first time I went there I absolutely loved it. The cart performed well and I was more than competitive with the other people there. My best time was a 31 second time. It was fun and it definitely left me wanting to come back. My second time there was terrible. My cart was slow to accelerate and it was incapable of keeping up with the other carts. My fastest time that visit was a 36 second time. It wasnt enjoyable and left me annoyed at the end of the race. I followed all rules to the tee, and when I ask

What a blast! The carts are fast and we all had a great time! The only drawback was price. I haven't went anywhere else though so unable to compare, just thought it was expensive. The girl at the counter was rude but did honor Groupon so we still had a great time!

Extremely disappointed in the facility. When you first walk in it looks like they have not done any sort of remodeling in 13 years. The atmosphere is very gloomy and not welcoming. The employees (while doing their job) lack the mindfulness to treat customers that are upset nicely. If a business is not willing to lose a few dollars in order to keep its customers happy, that to me is a sign of a failing infrastructure.

Awesome experience. Great staff, good equipment, and fast carts. It is dangerous for young kids though. I would say be 10 or up if you are or are bringing a child.

The only thing extreme is the wait! We waited for 2 1/2 hours and our heat was up but it didn't say our name so we went up and asked and she told us we got moved back 4 more heats and we had to wait another half hour. They let others who came after us go before us.

I have a few items to clarify. First off, the young lady working was super nice, but she was simply overwhelmed. We actually had LESS people come than what we thought. I was heading it up, we were sold on 3 races because they averaged 6 minutes. So when we arrived, the only other people there were the ones on the track. So I figured 36 minutes of race time, maybe a little more if our kids group was broke into two, plus some time in between. But after almost two hours, we had done ONE race for each, an

I have been going here since it opened. Love this place! Last night we had a flat tire when we left (around midnight). They kindly offered to help and let us use the tools from their own personal vehicles. I was beyond happy to get the job done faster and highly appreciated the kindness of the staff.

The only reason I give this place 2 stars is because the actual racing part is super fun. However with that said me and my boyfriend drove by and saw this place and thought it would be fun so we decided to come in. Initially I was super optimistic even with the very small selection of games but the employees were extremely rude and very anti informative. Had no idea what I was supposed to do and about had a heart attack when I found out it was about $70 for two people for two races. First race was the blast

Tons of fun. It was just my wife and I this trip, will be back with the kiddos!

I went on a Wednesday night and the place was packed. Too many people on the track and some people were a bit too aggressive. I am a very decent kart driver and I was setting lap times that we're somewhat competitive but I know they could have been a lot better if there were less people there. I love the place just not on Wednesday night.

I took my 9 year old twins here hoping to have a good time. The throttle cable got stuck on my daughter's kart. She crashed into the wall, bit her tongue and knocked out her tooth. An employee did apologize and said it shouldn't have happened. This place is not safe, please do not take your children here.

The actual racing is fun. Beyond that, it's a mess. The front desk is completely unorganized. They messed up our order so many times (at least 6) that caused our group had several long breaks in between rides. The over charged us, then under charged us then finally got it right. When your heat # is called they warn you that if you don't hear them they will skip you. I understand that, but why not have a speaker, or a large tv monitor to help you stay informed? This place is unorganized and dirty.

The carts were very fun I would recommend coming here any time you get an opportunity to. The arcade needs work and upgrades, but the staff was friendly and the racing was fun. Prices could be lower, but I think that is to be expected. Come have a good time and help keep that place open.

Carts are fast so that was fun but staff has a HORRIBLE ATTITUDE, snotty, sarcastic, and treat you like you are a huge inconvenience. I can't stress the bad attitude enough. Came with a small group, would have been an amazing experience if the staff had been the least bit friendly, but instead were rude, short, and on their phones.

Great fun for all ages. Tandem Karts offered if your little just wants to ride along. On the big straight aways you can hit some pretty good speed. Well worth it for a fun afternoon. The staff is always great as well.

They are great, but sometimes the batch gets mixed and spoils the whole race. Yet I like the activity and am a frequent visitor. Would recommend but needs to take care of a few minor Knicks and knacks. Also please offer some deals at a comfortable price point. All in all love this place and so do my every friend. Well there you go ???? step N vrooommmm!!! ?? Cheers enjoy and don't forget to have fun; at least while it lasts. PS: don't drink and drive!!

Just SUPER overpriced. There's no food and the arcade games are all out of order, so to pay 69$ total for ?4 races? which ended up being 2 because they run 2 races back to back, was pretty wild. Attached is a picture of the pricing at ?Craig?s cruisers? which is located on the west side of the state. 69$ here at extreme got us 20 minutes total in the karts, while 40$ At Craig?s cruisers gets you 3 hours of buffet food, indoor and outdoor go karts, a trampoline park and fully loaded arcade. Just wild to see

Place is kid friendly, and fun. They have a little arcade but it's not much. Good place to take kids!

Will not go back. The go karts went pretty fast and they supplied helmets that seemed clean. The karts handled well. The staff were helpful and friendly. There was one kart that seemed a bit shaky. Half the game machines were out of order. The main things that make me not want to return are the price ($75 for a family of 3 for approximately 10 minutes of driving), and the waiver they make you sign that attempts to dissuade you from suing for recovery if they cause an injury due to negligence. Comments: for

I called ahead of time to see if we needed to have a reservation, I called at 7pm. the woman on the phone said no and nothing else. I drove 25 mins to the location and put on my shoes in the parking lot (it's summer and nice out I had flip flops on) go in at 7:35pm for her to tell me that they aren't taking anymore races because it's past 7:30pm. You would think that they would mention something like that while you're on the phone. Super upsetting, wasted gas and didn't get to go racing for our anniversary

My boyfriend and I decided to visit your establishment for the first time on Saturday February 12, 2022 at 4:15pm. Upon our arrival, there was a young man standing behind the counter. He did not acknowledge us or attempt to service us, probably because he was too busy speaking to someone on FaceTime. We stood for a few moments, waiting for the employee to end his conversation and assist us, but he never did. Instead, he continued talking to whomever he was on the phone with. As if the poor customer service

It was okay for adults but it's very disorganized and the staff doesn't seen to like their jobs. The place send unhygienic and gross. My friend had her helmet break and fly off her head in the first lap. It's a little over priced for what you get. Everything seems dirty like it's a welfare office from the 80s. They have games for you to play while you wait which many weren't working. Even if you make reservations that doesn't help.

Always a great time! I will say we purchased 4 races but 2 were run back to back so it felt like we got jipped out of 2 races because we never stopped the karts. Although after watching heats between we could tell we were out there for much longer! Awesome time and 0 complaints over all!

Waited in line for 45 mins to just try & race. Then when we get to the front, they let a group that had a reservation cut in front of us. No apology to us for the long wait, the group was late & not even all of them were present. Then we find out there's an hour & half wait until we could even race. Definitely not worth it for & quite frankly I wish they would?ve told us before we waited that long.

This place is just ok. They could have something here but with their current pricing it is about $4.00 per minute in a cart. At that price it is "Extreme". It was a fun thing, if there pricing structure was better, i would probably be a regular customer but it isn't worth $4.00 / minute in my opinion. Also somehow my bill was $12 more that the total of my races, and i didn't get a receipt.

It's a blast and these carts really move. The reason it doesn't get a 5 star is because half of the arcade was out of order and it's a little pricey. At 16 bucks a race and the race last around 5 to 8 minutes it's easy to spend a lot of money pretty fast. They do have deals like 3 races for 40 dollars.

This was our first time. Arcade was closed, so we sat watching other racers while waiting our turn. We went as a family (8 of us), paid for 2 races each(mandatory 2 races per rider) and paid for helmet liners. It was a bit pricey ($200+) but our kids did enjoy themselves, as well as my husband and I.

Their gas powered karts were fast, but not as quick as some electric ones we've raced. Exhaust fumes were noticeable but not overwhelming. Biggest complaint: price was higher than most people would like. Makes this a place for special occasions such as birthdays as opposed to a regular entertainment destination.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
