I have been bringing my family to this establishment regularly since they opened and have held many birthday parties there and have literally given them thousands of dollars in patronage. Sadly after our last few visits, we will not be returning. The management, or mismanagement, has ran this place into the ground. Almost half of the games do not work anymore and there has been zero effort to repair them. Even the half that does still work, is broken and in ill repair. It's so bad that they have roped
Very disappointed as ive been bringing my granddaughter for over a year and games were up and running good. Now we come and A LOT of games don't work, just a few in photos. The maintenance guy needs to work on games instead of ride around on buggy watching sports games which I saw him doing today.
We had loads of fun with 2 of our grandsons!! Definitely will be back! A little pricey, But when you consider the things you are getting to do...well I thought it was worth it. I think we spent like $269 for 4 of us. Extreme passes, plus $20 of video game play.
Fun place to hang out, especially if the weather is horrible. The food is ok, considering its pre-made pizza crust. The wait time for food could be better.
Had my team Christmas party today and they did not disappoint. They decorated so well for my event, was very friendly, and helped keep us on track. We had the BEST time today. Thank you for making it great.
Always a great place to bring the family and kids enjoy it so much. Reasonably priced and good workers. One worker named Ashley was extremely helpful and cheerful and helped us every time we had questions
We were regular customers. My kids love this place! But sadly, after the last 2-3 visits, we won't be returning. Management seems to be running the place down. Half the arcade games don't work. Customer service isn't the best. Maybe it's worth the drive into Anchorage for Dave&Buster's.
It's a fun, lively place for kids to hang out and enjoy themselves. The atmosphere is energetic, making it a great spot for families. However, one suggestion would be to improve the seating for adults. While the kids are having fun, more comfortable seating would definitely have increased the odds of us staying longer.
About 1/3 of the machines are broken. The food options are pretty decent for an arcade. The prizes are typical for what you find at an arcade, candy, cheap toys that break easily, stuffed animals, etc. The sky lounge is open whenever they feel like being open. I've been to the fun center about 7 times and I've never seen it open. The party packages are a good value for what you get.
Fun place to bring the kids and spend some time playing games, playing laser tag, and go-kart racing. Decent track, decent prices. Typical food for this kind of place ? nothing fancy (pizzas, sandwiches, wings, etc). As is normal, play games and gather tickets (electronically) for prizes, but need a bazillion tix for anything half decent. Still a fun time.
My 9 yr old son always has a great time. Raceway can fill up on Saturdays. Renewing the waiver can take awhile especially when you bring a guest that's not your child. As long as you go willing to spend a good 1.5-2hr, it's all good.
Great place, the only thing missing is a water slide haha. Good court Bowling Laser tag Electric indoor go kart Rock climbing Bumper cars 4D Theature experience Many video games including things like skee ball, basketball, racing games, etc. Kids play center / jungle Bathrooms Its like Dave and busters, not as loud though. The drive from Anchorage is the only down side.
Their VIP plan is awesome for military people! Great discounts for military and the VIP. You'll get your moneys worth. Also if you're looking to collect tickets while your kids enjoy themselves. Play Wizard of Oz! Quick 5000 if you collect all cards. Kids loved their XD Ride and Go Kart!
Imagine a place that should be fun and exciting. Now picture half of the machines being out of order. Now put a half hour wait on everything. Now picture every employee had the energy of Squidward. We'll give it another shot in the future to see if things improve, but it's not a place I could recommend in it's current state.
Fun place to go karting! Had a bit of an issue signing up for the VIP pass, but CS was able to sort it out and gave us a bonus for the inconvenience. Really appreciate this level of customer service, and will plan on coming back again!
Over half the games were broken, over and over it would take your money and you had to get someone to give your money back! When finished my granddaughter went to get something with tickets and nobody to take your points! Finally got a girl to come over from front and she was only person except one guy that refused to come help. During school break this is rediculous! This is a nice facility but run into the ground when they are pulling over $100 for 1-2 hrs of a kid playing!
Lots of fun! My son really enjoyed the Soft Play area. Husband loved the go karts of course, lots of cute arcade games to play, most around $1/each some a little more.
Very expensive, almost every time we go, there are many games that are broken, and many others take your money but won't let you play, and when you ask for help, the workers seem soo bothered.. the help at the cafe is even worse. An older lady came and screamed at my son in law because he was sitting at the wrong table, instead of just telling him politely. We used to go a lot, but it's just become very unwelcoming that we would rather go to Dave n busters.. you pay just as much but they have a lot more to
After frequenting this place since it opened, sadly this is our last visit. It's more expensive than it's ever been, the food quality has tanked, the bar upstairs is closed, we had to clean our table to sit down in the Caf?. The specials that have been around for years are gone, half the games are broken and the prize counter has the cheapest items possible. I've been saving for years to get some good prizes, the best prizee they have now are plushys. It's like this place is trying to squeeze every ounce o
Nearly half of all the arcade games are broken or out of service at the time of this review. The go-karts are about the only thing that are fun. We thought the bar open to 5:00 it did not and the laser tag was booked out until 8:30.
We really enjoyed our day here. Lots of different game options as well as; mini bowling, laser tag, bumper cars, a like 4D movie thing, Go-Karts, and a Soft Play area for younger kids. They have a little cafe inside as well for pizza, snacks, and drinks. It is a bit pricey, but a lot of fun!
Was so nice when they first opened. Half the machines today were broken. When we had a couple of machines that were "operational" take our money without a play, I brought it up to the staff and they did nothing. Instead, told me the machines were working and basically called me a liar. I asked for a $5 credit on my play card. Sounded like a simple request to not feel ripped off after spending $60. Offering a credit would cost the business nothing. It would keep your customers happy and coming back. Just a s
One time at my cousins birthday only 2 cards got tickets and I was winning so many like the other and mostly everyone got 0 tickets I would not recommend coming here especially with little kids that like getting the prizes because you probably would not get any because you probably don't have any tickets even though you won so many games
If in the valley it is a lot of fun for kids 4+ and up. It took nearly 45-60 mins to get in due to only one person to check waivers and pay for cards and put money in them.
Such a cool facility. They have an arcade, go-karts, bumper cars, laser tag, a food court and a really cool maze that's fun for kids of all ages. My teens enjoyed it as much as the baby did!
My hubby and I took our great daughter for birthday w/her parents and baby sister. She had fun, but lot was Not Working (very disappointed especially when you paid alot). Few other games out of services, the race car was down (??). So yes very disappointed ??. The next time I hope every games works especially if you going to spend $$ there...
Lots of fun!! We paid $36 per person for a day pass and spent 2 hours at the center .Day pass includes 1 race, 3 games of lazer tag,1 round of bumper cars,1 round of mini bowling, 2 rounds of rock wall, and $10 cash value, that could be used for anything. My favorite was lazer tag, I highly recommend it!! Facilities were very clean and stuff was friendly and helpful.
I can't say enough good things about this place. It's been a family favorite for many years. When we lived in Alaska it was a frequent place we'd visit for family fun or parties. My family and most of my extended family were in town this week because we lost my Mother to Cancer. Well, it just so happened my son was also turning 7 this week and we had to cancel his party back home in order to make this trip. We decided we just had to celebrate him. So at the last minute I messaged all of our family and frien
An overpriced waste. The cashier and checkin process is frustrating and time consuming. The experience itself is expensive and the facilities and options are not worth the money. Go for a hike instead.
Paid $78 for a couple of us to ride karts for my son?s birthday. First kart had a broken steering column, had to argue with them to get him another car, they finally put him in another car that was also broke. Column flips up and down 14? or more. Not easy to drive and very unsafe. Hoth karts had the same problem Talked to the front counter and they had zero desire to fix anything I hate to leave a local business a bad review But you can't charge a premium and have usage equipment and smug attitudes in
We bought an Extreme party package for our 5 year old birthday for 7 on a Saturday. The staff that helped in our room were great but the manager was super rude and shut everything down and sent staff home BEFORE 9. With the package you get the Dark ride and Bumper cars. Most of our guests were too short to do the bumper cars but that wasn't told to us until the kids got in line to do the activity. The manger shut down where you redeem your card points at 8:30. The establishment doesn't close until 9. Bottom
My daughter's friend had a birthday party here today. The party room was nice and the kids loved the pizza. No signs are posted but was told no filming allowed inside? BIG consideration when it comes to kids birthday parties so. But, the kids had fun so, 4 stars!
Good money waster especially if you are in the Wasilla area. The old ladies running the establishments are extremely (haha) moody and tend to blame you for issues their system has. All-in-all, the establishment has seen massive deterioration and I foresee the building being shut down just like the rest of "fun centers" in our state.
Great place to spend the day indoors with your kids. Mine love the climbing wall. The place is clean and there's usually plenty of staff available if an issue arises. The coupons on the back of grocery receipts are only valid Mon-Thurs now.
April was amazing she is friendly and very sweet!!! Thank you for thee great experience ??
Workers gotta add more enthusiasm into there job. The karts felt like I could?ve figured out and did there job in a shorter amount of time then they can. When it first opened up, man did it feel welcoming now it's just?different.
Not a bad set up but no staff to run the stuff for the kids on a Friday night no one there. Oh well won't go here again!
Awesome place to take your kids for their birthdays or just for fun. Thursdays are great for discount races and Monday through Friday is great for a certain time to get 50%off rides and such. I love that if you ever have a problem with any of the machines they fix it right away!! It's so great???? You should definitely stop by for a visit.
This place is a scam, half of the games are broken and need repair and when brought up nothing was done, no assurance that the games would be fixed, and no offer of money being refunded for the games being refunded, both basketball games are broke, ticket monster, winners cube, bean bag toss, and the walking dead worked but the charging handles were broke, I came here a couple years ago and it was phenomenal but now this place has just become a sorry excuse for a arcade
I'll start by saying that my kiddo loves this place. It's very fun for kids and you can't get much better for Wasilla. However, there is a lot of room for improvement. Although the staff is very nice and accommodating, the business seems to always be short staffed. The sky lounge is open when it's open. That's it. There are no set hours, and despite me asking every time I go to the fun center, none of the staff ever have a solid answer as to the hours or when it will be opened. Related to the sky lounge
Great place to bring the kids and let them have some fun. My only complaint is that maybe if you dont have the patience to work with kids who might not be the best drivers on the Go Kart track that maybe you should find a job that better suits you. Making rude comments such as "Maybe the bumper cars are more suited for you" and almost making kids cry is not ok. Other than the one rude employee, the rest were awesome.
My kids absolutely loved this place!! It was affordable and the food was really good! It's a fantastic way to spend a Saturday hanging out with your kiddos!
After getting a waiver on file it was super quick with no line. The staff were great. Although I'm giving 4 stars because quite a few games were out of service as well as the bowling alley. It would also be great for those coming from out of town if there was a way to see that certain things were reserved ahead of time to plan accordingly. Even with those things our experience was still pretty great as there was still plenty of other games/things to do.
If you want to pay a outrageous amount of money to be treated like scum and when you ask to speak to a manager have the manager role there eyes at you this the perfect place to waste your money you better off lighting your money on fire you will get more from your money a few seconds of heat smh worst experience ever and cost $430 to be disappointed
We all had a great time. But they seemed under staffed. I waited 40 minutes to cash out tickets In the arcade. They had one worker checking people in and doing the prizes. Thankfully April, arrived and was very kind and wonderful. KUDOS TO YOU APRIL!
We have 100 plays on the machine and it won't spit out the coins, it got jammed. I have been waiting over 20 min for someone to come fix the machine after asking 2 employees who said they would radio someone over. Just another way for them to rip me off after the ridiculous prices!
Waited up front. 2 that look older looked at us and looked at the people walking out and said ?I need to see you? went into the front office and shut the door while we were standing at the desk. Didn't even greet us. Nothing just walked into the front office and shut the door. A minor had to come help us and she didn't even have cash in her drawer which wasn't her problem. She was trying her best and super helpful. Older women that went to the back was super rude.
This place is awesome , love the Lazer tag and the racing carts, rock climbing was pretty fun also . Pretty tasty food court and tons of games . I spent for 1 person roughly $65 and had the chance to engage in every activity , staff was very friendly and made sure we had a good time
We raced go carts and played a few games. It's was so much fun
Fun but expensive. They keep the place clean and you can tell the management is good. Good food too.
I got a red chip from the Wizard of Oz game. I asked the lady in the redemption room how much those were worth. She told me 200 points apiece. So the next time I went I spent $30 on the Wizard of Oz machine. I got eight red ones and 18 green ones. I was expecting over 1000 points. But the gentleman behind the counter said 300 and something. He said the red ones were only worth 50 points. I complain to management. I explained that the only reason I played that game and for that much money was because of what
First going there was fun,my daughter mentioned that they'll be going extreme fun center,it was fun my grandbabies had a blast and so did my 2 daughters, didnt get to go on the go cart though,my grandbabies were getting tired.
Was looking forward to taking my kids go-karting and laser tagging, we ended up with a 2.5 hour disaster. 1 hour spent in line and trying to purchase and get our cards, another hour trying to get a refund. Tried to play the shooter game, received an error, asked someone for assistance who called someone else that never showed. One card didn't get loaded with money for the arcade, one card wasn't registered for the go-kart. The amount of issues that were experienced really made the price outlandishly ridicul
Could not get assistance to do anything on the play pass. Was told to wait for 45 minutes for more people to come in to work. Checked back in over an hour and a half later and still couldn't get assistance. It took 45 minutes to finally get someone to come do rock climbing wall. Asked for a refund of the activities that we could not do because of lack of staff..was told no. Would not recommend unless you are here getting service directly associated with a birthday party.
Everything is extremely overpriced, prizes are trash and extremely overpriced based on the games awarding very little tickets. We spent over $200 on games and my son got prizes I could get at a dollar store for less than $5. Probably around half the games are out of order, the claw games are built to steal your money we had many prizes in claws that dropped the prizes all at the same exact time. Place is also extremely dirty and not well kept save your money and drive to Dave and Buster in Anchorage they w
Pretty legit E Karting experience, probably buy a single session, satisfied me for $20
Took my friends and family here for my daughter?s bday party and bought the classic party pack. Room was decent but no decor besides table cover, eating utensils, plates and a cup. The pizza was really good though but The system just so happened to go down that day and we could not play much of the games but April the manager did give us a play anything all day any amount of times so that was cool of them. But at the end of the day we could not redeem points for prizes the gate was closed for the prize area
Went on a Saturday to take my three kids to do something special for our son's birthday. The power went out three times, causing all of the games to be reset. It looked like there was only one person who could perform the reset so my kids were not able to play any games. Again, this happened several times. We waited in the food line for 20 minutes for tiny slices of cold pizza. When we asked to get a refund for the tickets, the teens working laughed and didn't take us seriously. Eventually, a manager go
Good games. Good facility. Some of the staff needs to be educated on customs and courtesies/respect. For example the two young females that work the food court. Both were rude when taking and giving orders.
LOVE arcades and I LOVE the fun center, but it's not been much fun over the past few years. I've been coming to the fun center since it was built. I'm very realistic in the sense that things don't always go perfect. Things break. I get that. But when do they get fixed? Or why keep them operational when they do not function? There are 3 coin games that haven't been operational in AT LEAST 3 YEARS. YEARS! Yes, YEARS! Arcades are such a dying breed, so for those us that do enjoy them we don't take it for gran
Great place to take the kids to let off some of that energy build-up. A tad expensive but well worth the time spent there and the energy they burn off. No time limit on how long you stay, you just gotta pay if you didn't pay enough upon entering. They have this little "store" where the kids can spend their tickets they have won. They need to DROP the price on those prizes. They are just little "dollar" items and yet you would think your purchasing some expensive item with what they ask for in tickets.
Over half of the games didn't work. The go-karts were extremely unorganized. Cannot recommend.
Even I had a good time and that's rare at these places. Not too crowded, staff was friendly, the place wasn't dirty either. We had a great time.
If I could leave 0 stars I would! Treat your employees better! I've worked retail and I have never seen a place so understaffed! I can only imagine how they get paid! I think they would appreciate more hours anyways. had to witness these poor kids jumping from attraction to attraction ALL morning because you won't schedule enough people for opening which in turn is making it hard for your customers. You're making employees lives harder which in turn is making customers experiences worse. All to save a coupl
Typical arcade. A lot of games are out of order. A handful of games look like they work, charge your card, but don't work. Go carts are the highlight of this place. XD Extreme ride is fun. Arcade needs attention, however.
I absolutely love the Extreme Fun Center! It's a go-to for our family, especially during the winter. Their indoor playground is a lifesaver. The customer service is top-notch, with Jayna always going the extra mile. She's a gem, remembering us and making each visit special with her warm, welcoming smile. We feel valued as loyal customers. Highly recommend this place to anyone in Wasilla!
Second time we have been here and I doubt I'll come back. It feels like every other machine is broken and they don't even let you combine cards to get prizes. If over half the games weren't broken maybe it would be better.
Go early. Not crowded and have your pick of games and prizes!
READ BEFORE YOU VISIT*** This place has turned into a joke. Would go as far to say borderline scam. Should change the name to ?Extreme scam center?. It's very expensive, You pay full price just to find out 75% of the attractions or games don't work. We went close to 7 years ago and it was very nice. We we're excited to come back but unfortunately we did not leave with that same excitement. First off, they are extremely understaffed. They had 1 person working the front check in on a Saturday. We had maybe 3
Arrived shortly after opening. When staff was needed they were a bit difficult to find. A few games were not working and not marked as sout of order. Lazer tag was a lot of fun.
I really like this place. It is such a great way to break up the winter. The owners are great. The only reason I give it 3 stars is they have an elderly lady as manager who is atrocious. Everytime I have come here, I have had an issue with her. We haven't been here is about a year because of her. Her customer service skills are severely lacking. She would be better suited as a bouncer at the Mugshot instead of a manager at a fun center. We will give it a try I another year instead of making this our monthly
Pretty cool arcade along with a sizeable indoor go-kart track. My husband and I enjoy visiting arcades everywhere we go and we had a great time here! Very reasonably priced games too!
Had a blast but lil pricey and bit of a wait. Certain staff members are more helpful and friendly then others. Food was amazingly tasty with a great staff.
Half of the Machines are broken. The management is poor and the staff is under trained.
Have been multiple times and sadly it seems to be going down hill. Was there recently for a birthday party and every other machine in the building was out of service.
Games are limited & expensive. Food does not have any healthy options, things to do for the smaller kids are extremely limited. We had a birthday party & they told us our reservation for the party was 30 minutes later than what we had booked for. They booked our laser tag for 10 minutes before the time we had booked the party for. Then our host wouldn't come get us for 20 minutes & we kept asking for assistance
Had quite the terrible experience with the staff ?? We were attempting to do the Gokart races and they wouldn't let us go because the employee ?didn't clock on yet? for 20 mins. He was standing there on his phone and if he engaged in a conversation with us maybe I would look at this differently. The safety man was EXTREMELY self righteous and that just ruined my entire experience with them. They then proceeded to put us 19 yr olds on junior mode which was basically saying ?we don't like you?. They had no re
Great affordable place to let the kids play and burn off some energy
Went there today and hardly any of the games work and if they seemed to be working fine they just took your money. It's unfortunate such a nice place isn't kept up well. Very little staff, so there was no help there.
Very short staffed at check-in. Took about 20 minutes to get in. Go carts are a lot of fun tho.
Fun place to go by yourself or your family and friends, but do not recommend a party. 1st, we got there about 30 mins before our party hoping to set up our own decorations and fix up our cake. But they didn't give us any extra time to do so. So if your party starts at a certain time, don't try coming any earlier, even if you're the first party of the day. Your ?party coordinator? is a joke. Or at least ours was. They don't really coordinate anything. They tell you that you get the room for a certain amount
Staff appeared very stressed, building seemed clean and orderly at first glance, but a detailed look reveals much more. Roughly 30% of the games reported errors or were inoperable for some reason. Roughly half of the go cart fleet is seemingly down for work that has been pending for a while. None of the claw games seem to be calibrated to output anything. The largest claw game is the most glaringly obvious violator of this, can't even lift a stuffed animal, let alone carry it.
Here for a bday party. Seems like there are only 2 people working here actually trying. The rest are wandering around as people wait in line to be helped. Woman at the front just straight walked away from us at the counter. Girl showed up at the front counter and started helping a group that showed up after. And then another group. Guess we shouldn't expect much from a place charging as much as they do. Straight garbage management and employee support.
This place is new and feels clean. It's pretty pricey however. We paid $450 for a birthday party with 12 kids last weekend. The price includes a card for each kid with 20 arcade tokens on it, 1 laser tag game, 1 bumper car game, 1 XD dark room game (it's a 3D movie/VR coaster that you watch and shoot things on the screen with your laser gun while sitting down), 2 pizzas with unlimited soda and a 16 year old hostess that can not understand basic tasks and is nowhere to be found when you have an issue to ad
Great customer service, everything was explained clearly. Sad though, half the Games were inop. Rules weren't enforced on the go-cart track. 2 people were bumping into everyone and those 2 weren't penalized or ejected.
I booked birthday party for my twins and it turned out to be a complete disaster. We were given cards with no funds. We were shorten on their not-so-good pizzas. Employees keep arguing and arguing. They had 3 managers involved to ?fix computer mistake?.. It was continuous one problem after another. Party room packages are overpriced with no service. Birthday party packages are not worth the price. Wish valley had more alternative party venues for kids.
Fun really crowded though to Many extroverts but I did get 4 place! In a game and my bestfriend was there but warning to introverts there's loud people
Our kids love coming here. We especially enjoy the laser tag, and wall climbing. They also have a little play area with a slide for little ones. Weekends tend to be extremely busy, which makes the food line a very long wait, especially if only one person is working the counter. Recommend this place.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
