Customer Reviews

I had my kids birthday party here recently and it was great!!! Everyone loved it, kids and parents! I would definitely have another party here again. Staff was very helpful with kids that had trouble logging into their accounts or just needed help. We will definitely be going back! There's a lot of options for different games and systems.

Came here with my buddies, the owner is incredibly friendly and has a vast amount of gaming consoles (no emulators surprisingly) and 16 high end gaming PCS that play games at 4k. They're working on Very impressive VR setups and they have flight simulators and racing simulators as well. If you and your friends have some time to kill, consider checking this place out!!!

I went in to get a new larger battery put in my ROG Ally and I was able to play a full range of retro or modern console or PC games while I wait. The owners are passionate and very knowledgeable about the games and services they offer. It's a perfect way to try new games or play retro systems you may have owned as a child. I was able to play Sonic Adventure 2 on Dreamcast again after many years and loved every moment of it. Everyone should stop in and check it out. It's great for all ages.

Cozy and amazing! Had a great experience here using the gaming computers. Lots of cool tech and game options, staff is super friendly and knowledgeable! Great deal looking for entertainment and are very generous with pricing.

I would give more stars if I could. I found this place through my GPS. I was in search of a new arcade but this place so much more than that. If you're a PC gamer, love old school games and consoles, simulations, and VR's this is your place. And it's all at a great price!

I had a great time playing a racing sim for the first time! I don't know where else you get to try so many different games on a variety of systems. And the owners are incredible! They will guarantee you have a fantastic experience.

absolutely awesome place with awesome owners ^_^ the computer ran beautifully and the atmosphere was so comfy... undoubtedly going to see me again lol

I'm going here April 12 but from what I saw it's AMZING.There 16 pc's are INSANE in a good way.Im HYPED FOR MY BIRTHDAY #BEST BIRTHDAY PARTY EVER

Good place went there for a birthday party and they had alot of pcs and even a switch 2 it was a fun place

Perfect addition to downtown Highland. PC gaming is excellent. Console gaming setup is fun for multiple ppl. They even have a theater room. Great prices too.

Nice, fun, clean environment. Had my son?s birthday party here.. highly recommend! It's affordable as well!

This place is a my kids dream hang out. Staff is amazing, helpful, patient and very knowledgeable about old game systems. I need to bring my n64 in there for them to clean it up.

I brought in this super old "Game Boy Micro" that hadn't been able to power on in a decade or two. Pretty obscure device (it's 4 inches wide) so I didn't get my hopes up. Owner opened it up, upgraded the battery and now it works better than ever. Cost about a quarter of what I was ready to pay. This game center has EXP. Heh.

I've become a regular here as I am OBSESSED with this place! I'm a very retro type of teen as far as games go, which comes at the cost of pricey rare games for systems that aren't supported anymore *COUGH COUGH* SEGA DREAMCAST *COUGH COUGH* and here, I can play so many different games, from race sims, to sonic games, to the cinematic MASTERPIECE that is DONKEY KONGA. This place is a must visit for any gamer in northwest Indiana.

had a great time. played the old games I loved as a child. They have a great variety for all ages, new and retro. owner was great and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be back again

I've had so far an amazing experience there, definitely recommend other people giving it a shot.

ken was very informative to the point of understanding everything even if your not tech savvy like myself, if your wanting to relive your most favorite games on their original systems with clear picture then you need to come in with the amazing prices

Great time, I took my kids today not knowing what to expect. Once the accounts were set up, we played multiple games and enjoyed ourselves.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
