This was a big disappointment. We just moved to the area and our 3 year old wanted to go to the jump place. We got here and could not find anyone to purchase wristbands/socks. After paying 20/person, we realize that two of the attractions were closed with caution tape, several holes in the actual trampolines, no balls for the small dodgeball area, and no supervision from workers at all. It was not very clean and when you did find staff, they seemed irritated to help. For the price of over 80.00 for 4 p
Quite pricey was busy for spring break. Should've adjusted hours .. fun atmosphere for kids but not much to do as a family other than bowl and we would've had a long wait
This facility have a bowling alley, game room, and jumper. Ages 1 - 100 can enjoy yourself..
Seven of us went bowling here for a birthday. The staff was friendly and it was clean. The bounce house was reserved for a private party but the kids got to go in as soon as it was over. It was family friendly and a great place for fun and good brother sister competition. (I lost every game bad)
It is ridiculous that you have to pay $15 to jump for 1 hour and can't do nothing more. I think this a rip off because if you take kids on a field trip you will waste your money on this event.
Went on the perfect day. Whole trampoline area to self to allow this kid to showcase his true spiderman skills. ??.. #reboundposter he's a natural! However there were some drying towels to catch water droppings..don't go if you have a mold allergy.
Always a terrible experience!!! Every time the kids are out for breaks they close earlier than the times posted on the website. For the amount they charge, how the lanes break all the time and as dirty as it is, they can at least be open. Always a disappointment!
Went for a kid's birthday party and found mold on the bottom of the pizzas and a roach in the inflatables. Staff was not very accommodating or empathetic.
Multiple problems with the lane. The balls kept getting stuck and the pins wouldn't reset a couple of times. After we requested help the first time, the giant wrench kept floating across the screen for the rest of the game. I thought it the equipment should have worked a little better for what we paid to bowl.
Half of the machines didn't work or takes your money but for the most part it's ok.
If you are a bowling fan, go home and play it on the wii since that is significantly more enjoyable. We bowled for a combined 5 frames after paying $60 before our ball return messed up. They did not offer us a different lane and told us they would not refund our money. I'd give zero stars if I was able.
It was fun for the kids. It could use some updating. Great shoe sizes for 2Ts. Please fix the bumpers and have a rack for kid size bowling balls.
It was fun my church family had a blast
When my family went, the employees were rude, we waited for at least 30 minutes to go to the laser lag, and nobody came back to help. Then we seen like workers walking around on there phones, so we just did games for tickets & when we went to go use our tickets nobody would.help us. We asked and looked and nobody helped. HORRIBLE experience
Their were holes in the trampoline and the workers were extremely rude and their was poop on the floor
Manager made me leave because I didn't have "paperwork" for my service animal. Then threatened to call the police when I questioned their policy.
if i could give 0 stars i would but here's one so any other future bowlers can be warned. -for one; the manager? short haired brunette? might possibly be the rudest person in the place & when presented w/ an issue w/ our lane she went onto the next customer & only had to repeatedly go up to her about 5x to actually receive any sort of help. games pay by the hr & we spent 30 mins waiting, so did the lady & her son next to us. -secondly; the bathrooms are FILTHY. -thirdly; went to play in the arcade & the gam
I can deal with all the cons of this place (read the other negative reviews) but I'm only writing this review because of one thing. I asked the staff for a cup of tap water because the water fountain was not working. They said they were not allowed to give out tap water and I could only buy bottled water. I looked at that girl so crazy. I overpaid for every service in the place and did not complain but tap water? Come on... I am only giving 2 stars because the staff is friendly. I don't blame them for tell
do not come here, our ball return messed up 4mins into our game, we waited 30mins for it to be fixed and we could not get a refund when we decided to leave. worst experience and customer service by far. gave it one star since i couldn't give it 0 stars
If you're thinking of having a kids birthday party here?don't bother. You can expect it to cost you $200 for 10 kids to bowl for 1 hour and 2 pizzas. You'll have to pay a surcharge to bring your own cake into the building but they won't provide you plates or decorations of any kind. You can expect to wait 1.5 hours or more to get your pizza and then be told it was your fault that the pizza took so long if you walk in the doors 5 min late. We had lane issues and shoe issues and food issues. The kids had fun
I wouldn't even leave 1 star but that's the least I can do, my son and his friends were turned away because they did not have a adult over 21 with them even though they are old enough to have their license and drive there themselves. What are the teenagers in this town suppose to do to have fun? They just wanted to hang out and bowl a few games but were told no. For now on I will be taking my family out of town for bowling and fun.
We never got to finish one game. The system kept malfunctioning and we lost time and never got it back. The system went down on us 8 times and they never gave us our timecback we lost do to technical error. When u pay for service u should receive good service. We did not get that here. We lost time and money because of faulty equipment. I do not recommend this place AT ALL. SERVICE IS REALLY BAD. TOO MUCH SALT ON FRIES. They need better management. WE WILL NOT BE BACK AND NEITHER ARE THE PEOPLE W
It feels like they keep this building at 90?. It's unbearable and they keep it this hot EVERY TIME I come here. You get taken advantage of here because it's the only bowling alley in a 90 miles radius. If someone else opened even a mediocre bowling alley near here, this place would go out of business fast.
Myself and a group of friends came here for a fun night of bowling and we did not receive good customer service. The policy of ordering what you want we completely understand and we did just that. However, the food we ordered, tasted bad or old. Without fuss or confrontation, we asked initially if we could have the product replaced. We were told we couldn't. I then asked again if there was anyway anything could be done. I was told no and that I couldn't get my money back either. Now a food wasting policy I
This place is so ghetto??. Overcrowded and overpriced. We had to ask for technical support four times, and to do that, you have to wait in line at the front register where there were three employees who were cooking, taking meal orders, handling shoes and prizes and taking funds for lazer tag and bowling. Meanwhile your bowling time is ticking and there are no refunds, nor will they extend your time. The bowling balls take too long to return. The bathrooms are disgusting. I'd rather drive for an hour and g
Kinda a okay place. I guess it use to be a hot spot but it's more of a ghetto hang out now. Took the kids here and the rails don't work so wasted 50 bucks on them throwing balls in the gutter and then had certain people acting crazy and acting like wild life. But it's Columbus so that's the way it is now
Horrible rundown place with very unhelpful staff! The software used here to keep track of points is very outdated and gave us many problems. Player 1 would bowl a frame and it would give the score to another player. It would then make the same bowler bowl again. I informed the staff and they moved my party to another lane. That lane had a glitch in the system and did not set up pins or return our balls once thrown. I, once again, informed the staff and after a failed attempt on fixing the problem they tr
Rude staff. Cant get anyone to help you once you pay to bowl. We have been several times and the lanes do not work properly. Asked for a refund after paying for 3 games and didn't even finish the 1st game bc lane messed up and they only gave us half the money back. WILL NOT be going back. Tuscaloosa has a very nice bowling alley and it isn't far away. They will have my business from now on.
The only reason I gave it one star was because zero stars was not an option. This place is way overpriced and the service is absolutely HORRIBLE. The two young women working there during our visit were only there to socialize with one another. It was like pulling teeth to get someone to help... and we needed help often because almost nothing worked correctly, if it worked at all. This could be a great place if the owner could find decent help and reassess the prices. Will never return here!
The jumper room is always great for kids parties. I have not rented it personally because of the cost, but my kids always have a blast when we are invited. This time one of the jumpers was down, must have had a leak, but it didn't diminish my daughter's fun. We also played in the arcade for the first time. My daughter and her friends are a bit young yet to get the hang of most of the games and of course they don't understand that winning 319 tickets after spending 11 dollars is not a good ROI, but at least
Rude staff, super long wait time at register due to staff chatting with friends, lanes need work as bumpers have never worked which makes it less fun for kids. Just not a great experience at all the last 2 times
This place is trash never been unhappy in life. Will not go back. Got the tickets and they told me no.
The service at this place was not good. They had a July special running online and did not honor it when we went in to bowl. The staff were so unwelcoming and just seemed to have a really nonchalant attitude. Felt rude. As someone else said, our lanes didn't work properly and repeatedly messed up. I'm writing this review, hoping that whoever is in charge will see it and know that you can do a better job. Train your staff more on the customer service and I am seriously not even high maintenance on the custom
Bowling is fine, a little dark and not enough music but that's not the issue. DO NOT waste your money on the laser tag. There's either an issue with some of the vests or the lights in the room because I consistently was hit even when I away from other players and even though I had over 150 shots fired only 6 made contact.
I would give them NO stars if I could! We're over 3 hours away from home and all our 2 girls (ages 8 & 10) wanted to do was go bowling and laser tag. They have only ever bowled 3x in their life, when asked about getting bumpers they would only allow our youngest child to because of a stupid policy!! It ruined our oldests day, in return we asked for a refund for the other games we paid for and didn't stay to laser tag. Frankie was the shift manager and seriously needs to lose her attitude because her custome
the bowling area is under construction, which is fine! i?m glad they're renovating as it desperately needs it. the staff that was working was very rude to our party. ridiculously rude. we probably won't be back for a while, which is a shame since there's nothing else to do around here.
Booked a party for my son and paid $207 for 1:45 minutes. They only give 15 minutes for you to decorate. My son's party started at 5:00. It is 4:53 and no one has let me in yet! Awful business!
I liked that it was easy to a lame and bowl, the one thing I didn't like is that when I was visiting this place my 10 year old son asked to have the bumpers turned on while he was bowling. Due to a "management choice or policy " they told my son no and myself no even when asked nicely and politely. Due to the fact that I spent 20 bucks to help your business and trust me Columbus doesn't thane much to do for kids below 18 I have decided I'll never return to GT lanes and support a local business. We were thei
We gave our granddaughter her 3rd birthday party here, only reason I won't give 5 stars is because for the money we spent to enjoy a private room and two pitchers of punch, we should have gotten better service. We should have had a dedicated party hostess. We had to wait in line like everyone else for food extra plates, napkins, anything. Even at the end of our allotted time we had to once again go wait in line to pay the bill. If she said to me once she said it twenty times, " I was going to ______________
Event Zona was very misleading with closing times. They had announced multiple times during our bowling game that ?we close at midnight?. At 11, we stopped our bowling game to play the arcade, when we got to that area a female employee turned off all the lights and told us the arcade and trampoline park close at 11, as the employee literally sat there and watched us put money on an arcade card moments before. When we looked extremely confused , the employee was nothing less than extremely rude with a terrib
I liked this place but I can honestly I say it did not live up to my expectations with the activities. The games were very pricey for the amount of time spent on items. Bouncy castles were for Children of 10 and under so that was difficult as I had sibling sets with me that could not do it. Actually that seemed to be the only part reasonably priced. $8 for reach VR game, laser tag and omg bowling was tough as well. I spent around $125 in about an hour....thats not including what other family members spent a
GT Lanes has a beautiful atmosphere and the young man attempting to fix the pins was really sweet but the compliments stop there. The customer service is lacking and it was a hassle to order food. Lane 19 was horrible. The turned the lights off before we finished the game. The pins constantly got stuck or they came down wrong. It ruined the game. I was disappointed to pay and have so many issues.
The concession area was out of cheese for nachos, out of french fries and tea My family and I were assigned to lane 1 which was not working. The lane lights would not come on and would not return the bowling balls. We were moved to lane 2 which would not return the balld as well. After a few tries it finally worked. Only one or two times during the game the pins would not come down but we were able to complete the family game. This place need an upgrade I didnt have a good time. My family and I att
Bowling is expensive and by the hour (~$30/hr if you don't need shoes). Ball returns are very slow, which is a bad combination when you're paying hourly. Lane was slicker than the BP oil spill, excessive oil in the, mid, back, and pin deck. Not sure if they're just never dressed or improperly dressed, but it made for very poor play. Beer pitcher was smaller than any place I've been to as well, only 2.5 12 oz beers worth. Overall just an expensive and poor quality experience.
Staff was mostly bad, only nice ones was heavier girl with tattoos, rest was snooty. Gave our lane away as soon as we finished. Keep stacking people on us when most of lanes where open. Lanes need resurfacing, heavy dips in the fake wood. Kids all over the place. Hard to keep a 200+ game with everything going on. Food took 2 hours for cheese sticks, they gave them away to staff, they had the munchies. Oh well my 2 cents. On a plus side Beer was cold...
Prices are high and service is poor. Had to switch lanes multiple times due to lane malfunctions and the staff was very discourteous and unhelpful. Probably because of their "no refund" policy posted everywhere. A business only posts a no refund sign when they know allot of people will ask for one. Please save yourself the trouble and money and go somewhere else instead.
This is hands-down the worst bowling alley I have ever bowled a league at. They have minimal support during league nights, constant issues with oil patterns, and have done nothing within the last two years to fix any of those issues. I wouldn't recommend bowling a league here to anyone. However, the pro shop is great with a great staff.
A great place to bring family, friends and even kids! They have a bowling alley with over 20 lanes and an arcade, laser tag and jumpers for the kids! Also they sell refreshments such as pizza, loaded nachos drinks and much more! They atmosphere is great fun for everyone!
There isn't much you can do here as a teenager. So this a place me and my friends resort to. I know its suppose to be like a bowling alley but I mainly go for their arcade and they really don't have very many good games. They do have a pretty cool laser tag set up and a place fro kids to jump and have birthday parties.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. LANE JAMMED UP. GOT TO BOWL 1 TURN. SAT FOR 20 MINUTES WAITING FOR THEM TO FIX LANE. REFUSED TO GIVE REFUND. AWFUL. NO APOLOGY. WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF IT WAS AN OPTION.
A lot of the games are good but most of them don't load tickets which is honestly disappointing. Not because it's something wrong they are just built that way. $20 here last about 30 mins and it's 8 each for Lazer tag. You have to buy a card and load to do anything. I haven't tried bowling yet but it seems a lot of ppl come here for that. Also after getting tickets for playing games u can cash them in for toys and candy pretty cool btw
No bumper cars, laser tag was broken, vr was broken, a girl working there was eating nachos when we finished jumping on the trampoline and as my husband walked up to ask for nachos the big girl said I'm not making no f* food so when he asked for nachos she said we are out, most of the arcade games didn't work. I think lazy employees and lazy managers have let the place get so run don it's not even worth going back to.
Staff doesn't care about paying customers. They don't care if anyone pays for the bounce houses or not. There is never anyone back there to enforce the rules. Tonight alone a group of 5 that had not paid ran off two families that had paid. I'm not coming back until they make some staff changes.
This is the most unprofessional experience I have ever had here. The staff was not as pleasant to me and my children as I paid for three games and shoe rental for seven people. We had to wait while two workers helped with a party reservation and one of the workers was standing there watching the whole time and never acknowledged me. Then the lady that took our information was rude and very sarcastic. Might not be coming back here again.
Took my daughter and her friends ( ages 12 - 13) bowling for her birthday. They would not let them put the bumpers up. It is against their policy. So, unfortunately, there were a lot of gutter balls.
Big fun at bowling alley. Kids loved laser tag. Problems with pin pickup and resetting during bowling was not good with impatient kids. Still a fun outing with children during the day. More adult oriented at night.
So I just got a called from a rude girl named Heather because she wasn't happy with my answers to a survey about how bad my experience was.
Went Sunday for my son birthday... With family in friends... In it was horrible... It took 2 hours to get our food... It was cold in not enough cheese on the nachos... The pizza was NOT done... Will not be going back... In the workers was so RUDE!!!
Bruh, we're older teenagers and we couldn't bowl. The age limit is 21, the heck? Why can we legally vote and we can't throw some heavy balls on a hardwood floor. Literally would've been the only thing to do in Columbus.
I will never go back. As our family of 5 tried to enjoy a family outing we were forced to hear extremely loud and the obnoxious music with very explicit lyrics. I went to the desk and asked should my family have to listen to F bombs dropping over there loud speakers with my young kids present. The first worker said we can't skip the song because they paid for it. I informed them that I paid too and would never again. The second worker ended up turning it down and eventually skipping the song only to have an
We took our nephew there for his birthday. No outside food unless you want to pay $16. I didn't know that and brought cupcakes in but they offered to store them for me.
The only thing GT lanes has going for them is a nice facility. I hate a company that forces you to spend a certain amount to swipe a credit card. They are using Square. Square doesn't have a transaction fee. It's 2.75% fee for swiping a card. The only time there's a transaction fee is if the card number has to be typed. So they get charged the same thing whether I spend $3 or $6. Terrible business model.
Lots of fun. There's Lazer tag, trampolines for jumping with a small obstacle course on the trampolines, a game room with all kinds of video games and bowling of course. Kids had a lot of fun.
The experience was awesome! My friends and I went at night. We participated in bowling (which had a great music) and then participated in Laser Tag (which was our first time) & it was awesome !
Employees were very rude and placed my children and I next to a bunch of drunks we couldn't even sit down, unaware of the no refund policy I returned straight back to the counter asked for my money back when I was informed that there were no refunds I asked why wasn't I told she pointed to sign far away from the register and told me she didn't have to tell me nothing in her exact words. That was my first only and last time going there.
Been calling all day no one answering phone... thanks anyway I guess we will go to BULLDOG LANES in Starkville instead. Maybe they will take our money.
UPDATE* Refund has been issued for the party, the (owner?) has reached out to us and has tried to make this right for us. We sincerely hope that they enable their on-site managers to take care of things before an angry customer leaves the building.
It used to be fun but now because I'm only 11 they were stupid and you have to be 2-10 to play in the bouncy houses. Ruined my day. And employees were very rude. If It wasn't for that they would have a 5. They need to make MAJOR adjustments.
On 8/15/19. I ORDER chicken wings within 3minutes of taking my seat I bit into ONE wing it was cold..I went back to the front desk so the could fry more or give me my money...They refused and even said the OWNER said to bad once they are served there is nothing to be done..I just spent over $100 plus and I can not even get fresh HOT WINGS....
Ok so first of all, there was a hair on my drink! And btw my drink was not carbonated and it was a sprite!?? ok and second of all I got cheese pizza, took one bite and I pulled out a 3 foot long hair!! And I know it wasn't mine because my hair is not that long! My friend got ranch and she had to go back up there and get a beeper! Like OMG this was not a good experience for me and my church we will not be coming here again!
My son loves it here. However, he loves ALL Arcades. This was our 3rd visit and all 3 times the bumper cars were down and almost half of the games were out of order. Very disappointed
85 degrees in the building. Half of the lanes broken. Bathrooms are disgusting. Don't waste your time. Take the extra time to drive to Tuscaloosa and bowl at a real bowling alley.
This place is horrible, lanes are broken, arcade vending machine charges your credit cards and does not dispense game card. Don't waste your time and money, go somewhere else
If they had a negative star, that's what they would get. Took five boys from 10 to 12 years old, they paid for jumping in the bouncer thing. Once they started jumping, they were told they were too big to be in there. I asked for their money back to do other things and they refused. Unbelievable!!!
decent facility.. expensive concessions, pins are missing or falling a lot we were on lane 18 eh'hem.. other than the fact that we had to push reset quite often it was nice. a friendly environment ..
Very disappointed with a birthday party that I attended. No decorations put up, cake was brought to the table and left. If you look at the website don't expect to get what you see.
Wouldn't put up the bumpers (which they have-see picture). Lanes are not quality so every kid roll was in the gutter.
Clean, comfortable rooms at a good price. Ryan's on one side, Waffle House on the other, easily walkable. DirecTV in the rooms. Free wifi. Pet friendly. Friendly staff, too.
The owners are so greedy. The prices are outrageous. Everytime we go the lanes mess up and they refuse to compensate us. The only thing good about this place is the arcade room and the jumpers but even those are EXPENSIVE
We loved this place for a birthday party! The venue and staff were both great and we cannot wait to go again!
Alot to do from bowling to bounce house to laser tag and arcade. Can get really expensive really fast and the one lady refused to serve my mother but was servicing everyone around her then called her prejudiced. Smh.
Prices are very over priced. Anything from a single game, to shoes to a refil, it is all over priced. The lanes were nice but expect to spend a lot when/if you do go.
The kids had a great time!!!
Great fun for the whole family Bowling alley is great with regular balls for adults and small balls for kids But Everytime I go the bumper cars are of commission The bouce room is food for parties with young kids the whole room is full of boucing slides house etc. And the have pizza and drinks available so your party is complete
The health dept needs to make a visit and maybe OSHA to the most disgusting place I've been and I've been to some but this one here is pretty bad, no supervision in the trampoline area, kids get bullied back there floors and bathrooms are filthy so it show that the owners are pretty greedy, it goes from the bottom to the top on management if you want to call it that, very disappointed in the service will never be back, gave it one star to just be able to write a review!!
The girl with dark hair that is the Manager at night is very disrespectful And says 20 feet from the door while smoking cigarette She was sitting right beside the door as you walk out and in , I have had some problems before had to talk with the owner .if you are going to work with the public Be more respectful to others !!! I'll be contacting the owner again !!!!
Me and girl always come there bowling and they food good too
It was an okay place to bowl. The consistent blinking lights were annoying but it is that type of bowling alley
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
