Amazing experience for first time VR! Possibly the best escape room experience Ive had on the platform. Our gamemaster was really well-versed and kind on how to work the VR experience. Good for dates and hangouts. Hopefully I can be back soon!
Very awesome place to go with your friends or spouse to have some fun! Javi, was very friendly and took care of us while we were there! The game master we had did a great job (forgot her name though!). I definitely recommend the VR laser tag? that's a blast! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some fun. Reasonable pricing as well.
Super fun! We had some car trouble and almost missed our time window. An employee named leeland(?) was nice enough to see if our appointment could be adjusted
Had our son?s 11th birthday here today. Did the VR laser tag and escape room package for 15 kids. Super fun! Set up was great. Our birthday boy said ?best day ever!? We just had to bring snacks drinks and cake. Richie and his co workers were great and very patient with the kiddos! Thank you!
Had part of my bachelor party here, my best man mainly dealt with the business. I will front load this review by saying I had a very fun time with the actual product during the small amount of time we were actually playing, so if you're looking for vr laser tag that experience was enjoyable. I will also say that I would not reccomend this venue for any event. One of the quotes I overheard from my best man booking this place was "there is a reason we have a 5 star rating". I can confirm with our experience
AMAZING!!! If you're looking for a family friendly VR experience this is the place!! They have this goblin game that is super immersive that allows up to 6 players! And the system they have does not require you to wear a bulky backpack for tracking. The staff is extremely patient, friendly, and knowledgeable while the owner, Javier is super fun and friendly. They also have more intense VR experience for the older groups including paranormal, insane asylum, and a haunted house type escape room that plays up
The owner Leland is the best. Whether you call the vr escape room or lazer tag, you'll be calling him, and he always answers. I go often during the week as a homework incentive...it is worth it. On thr Lazer tag side, if you run into Zack he is amazing, and my fab on this Escape room is...oh no...I'll fill in when I remember ????she is amazing!
Don't book for party?s or any special events. Had to wait a long time to be able to play. Then setting up took forever. Half of the group only did one side of the game. Only a few chairs and table, some sat on the floor to eat.
I booked a game for 6ppl on this past Father's day. We got there at the time that was asked and it took a little while for the staff member to get us going. When the game began my husband and kids were all having a blast! We got the third room and the game shut off before our time was over. The staff member said that another party was there and she was instructed to cut our time. I told her that's not fair because we paid for a full 45 min session. She said I could call the owner because that's who gave the
First time experiencing VR. It was great. My son and I did the Escape from the asylum. It was really fun. We had a couple of software glitches, but the staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful. We loved it! Then, we went to their other location to play VR laser tag. It was really fun! Highly recommendable both locations. We'll definitely come back!
My 15-year old granddaughter, my daughter and wife played Goblin's Quest, The Uprising. My granddaughter wanted to do this so we agreed to try it. We all had fun with it. 45 minutes is a good time frame. It went by fast. The puzzles to solve were challenging but not frustratingly difficult. We completed the quest in 39 minutes. The quest and a nice dinner afterwards made for a nice evening for family time together. To sum up: Something different to do and even grandparents can have fun with it! Edit: 4 st
Awesome first time experience! Area is spacious and the equipment is clean. Enjoyed our 5 man party as goblins trying to take down an evil Goblin King! The two employees there explained thoroughly how the sessions worked and guiding our first steps into the realm of VR. Don't be afraid to talk to one another and have fun! The employees got a kick out of our humour and I thoroughly enjoyed all the laughs we had. Also, don't forget to check-in on Yelp for a free cute keychain. Nice little souvenir of ou
My son had a birthday party last fall that the kids had a blast with! So much fun to watch a bunch of 10-11 year olds wandering around in a room with VR headsets?.lol. But then today my whole family got to experience it and I see why. It is so cool how you feel like you are actually in a dungeon and that the walls are real. Even though you are cartoons, everything makes you feel like you are there! Was fun for my son to actually escape today too! We were also able to do the 2 player escape room (Ward
This was such a fun experience! We love escape rooms and when we heard that there was an escape room with VR, we jumped on board. The VR adds a unique touch to escape rooms. Staff was extremely friendly and answered all questions! We picked the hard puzzle and we almost finished. Fun experience with family or friends! Highly recommend!
Did Goblins with my Girlfriend and 12 year old Grandson. We all enjoyed it very much. In reading other reviews there are comments about wifi or equipment failures. We did not experience any issues. It all worked perfect. Want the 5th star? We were in the last room and almost finished. There was nobody waiting. In that situation you should offer the option (if nobody waiting) to extend 10 more minutes for a fair fee. I would have accepted in a heartbeat. We would probably have finished & you would have made
My girlfriend and I did Ward 9. It was a genuinely amazing experience, especially if you're new to VR (I definitely was). The puzzles are not extremely difficult, but they are very creative and fun. If you're looking to laugh and have a great time (team-building, date, etc.), then this place is perfect. Plus, the staff are very friendly and won't hesitate to help you. I highly recommend it - I'm sure the other choices (Goblin) are more amazing too!
Will never come back to this place ever again. After waiting one hour for the VR headset, it was still broken and had to wait an additional 30 mins for it to work again. When we were in the game, the controllers did not click and we could not escape the rooms as half the game was missing. We then waited again and then after the game glitched on us. Why even try to fix the machine if it wasn't even going to work? Should of just sent us away instead of wasting our time. Such inexperienced workers who had to
I took my wife and son today to do the Co-OP escape Ward 9. The location is clean and it has a lot of comfortable seating. The guy that was working was friendly and really helpful throughout the whole process even though it was busy and he was the only person working. They both enjoyed the game and had a positive experience. I'm glad that we found this place on Groupon. We will return for sure.
Had a great time doing Ward 9 and the Goblin escape. Unfortunately, Ward 9 stopped working halfway through our playthrough. Obviously we were pretty bummed about this, but this stuff happens when so much tech is involved. The manaher or owner reached out to us shortly after we finished our experience, took the time to explain the issue, assured us we could come back to play through Ward 9 at our convenience and went the extra mile to make it up to us where so many places would've shrugged or gave you the ba
My siblings and I did the Goblin VR game and it was incredibly fun. According to our hosts, a lot of people struggled a bit with one specific puzzle so they took it out and created an Easy level that did not include that puzzle and a Hard level that did. It's literally the only difference between the two levels. Apparently it's because most of the people who have done this escape were first timers at escape rooms in general. If you have experience in escape rooms then I recommend you do the "hard" level. M
We went here for our wedding anniversary and did Ward 9, designed for 2 people only. It was SOOO fun! We didn't complete the challenge the first time, so we had to come back to finish it. Great time!
We did goblins quest for my daughter's birthday party. The girls loved it! Fantastic Adventure buy an amazing staff. They were very friendly, professional, and made it really fun.
Just experienced for the first time multi-player VR escape rooms Goblin Quest game with a group of friends, and we had a EPIC time. I was hooked from the start to finish and I was completely immersed! Come and check it out, you won't be dissapointed. Noone had anything bad to say about the experience, cannot wait to go back!
I have been to a few escape rooms around the area, so generally know how these places go... The differentiation for Escape VR is that their escape room is entirely inside VR. The owners have been super clever with the way they designed their game and made their virtual world feel way bigger than the room we were actually in. Played Goblin Quest with 5 other people and had a great time. Highly recommended. For an escape room and a VR experience rolled into one, you can't beat the price.
Fun storyline, great VR experience, fun with big groups. Backpacks lightweight and manageable. Can't wait for the next installment/episode. Staff was friendly and very helpful when asking for help in.the game. Thank you for a fun and wonderful experience.
The staff were very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, due to technical issues with the equipment restarting, we had to restart the game 5 or 6 times. The game itself (Ward 9) seemed really cool on paper, but was actually pretty underwhelming and the puzzles were way too easy to solve, nothing like an actual escape room.
This was my first vr escape, and the experience was great. The game was fun and challenging, time flew by, definitely going back when more large group games are available. The staff is very helpful and informative and ready to help you if u need it
Really neat place. The experience was booked due to a birthday party but the kids looked like there were having so much fun!! Definitely will return. Call to see if you can make a appointment before going.
Very fun! Quite overpriced. Although the staff was very friendly. Similar to the rest of the mall it was not very clean, and I felt the need to wash my hands after leaving. But the experience was fun, a bit short.
In April our school though 2 events here. The staff was so helpful with our large group. The kids had a great time and I'm very thankful I found this place for our school events.
I had a great time with this place. I came with my club and we had around 80 people for a private event. The staff were really patient with our larger group and I hope to come again!
When we visited them, we had to wait an hour because they were having wifi problems. After finally getting the game to work, it was still very laggy. After the game would not work they refused to give us a refund. Will not be coming back and would recommend you avoid this place at all cost
I had a blast doing this. It was my first experience with virtual reality. Omg, it was so much fun taking on the Life of a character and so real. I don't know if I can go back to regular escape rooms. I prefer the full perceptic immersion into the game. The visual and audio were great and kept my mind entertained. Great job by the creators.
So awesome :-) it was a fun family adventure with the boys. Very fun yet challenging to all work together at times :-) great staff as well thoroughly explained the game..
I've now done two of these escape rooms and I really appreciate how it is not just a video game puzzle. They actually use the VR part of the escape room to do things that you just couldn't do in real life escape rooms. Highly recommend.
The laser tag and escape room in VR is pretty cool. The VIP room wasn't any special it took away time from being used in the Escape Rooms.
Awesome concept -we had a really fun time! I only wish that more people could play at once on some games, so that everyone could share in the fun all of the time.
So much fun , it's not only for kids ,older people like myself who is 60 + can have fun! Staff is friendly & helpfull
It's was an awesome experience will 100% be back and try to get as many friends and family to come back to this spot, great customer service and staff was friendly.
Great time, fun game with my adult kids as Gobblins. Had lots of fun in the escape room.
We had a great time, looking forward to going back for the Lazer tag.
I'd do more research my people. I was desperate, spike any desperate fool at their Sr. Prom they got stuck with the bare minimum. I'd avoid.
Awesome experience! Would definitely come back again and actually a workout lol
The worker was real helpful. Very nice guy and great hospitality
We spent at least half of our adventure trying to get the equipment to interact with the game. Super frustrating
Great experience, not too tricky. Fun way to test communication and leadership skills
Great service and great value. The best part is there is no heavy battery pack.
This was a amazing experience with my friends. Hope we can come play the other games.
Was fun to watch my friends look goofy while watching what they were actually seeing
Leland was sick it was such a cool experience!
They were really nice and had alot of fun.
Great experience! Everything was well done.
Goblin Quest was super fun
Had a great time and great customer service
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, rhythm games in arcades are a vibrant hit in 2025! Titles like Dance Dance Revolution and Beatmania deliver high-energy fun, blending music, movement, and precision. Modern machines boast vivid displays, booming sound systems, and diverse song libraries, from J-pop to EDM. They challenge reflexes and rhythm, with competitive leaderboards and tournaments fostering a lively community. Arcade dance floors are regularly packed, proving rhythm games’ immersive, physical thrill keeps them a standout in today’s gaming scene.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
