this spot rules! great for groups of friends, dates, and families. the layout is awesome and you can tell lots of care went into every detail, from the trash - recycling - compost, to the bathroom considerations, to the jukebox. also has the most elevated and delicious jell-o shot i?ve ever had. staff is super nice. a must visit!
Great place for a date night. Especially after a concert nearby. The arcade has some amazing selections . And the bar has very unique Drinks I highly recommend the Storm Chaser. The staff is incredible and welcoming And Aubry the manager couldn't be more welcoming
Elston Electric is hands down the best way to kick off a night at the Salt Shed! Why stand in line when you can grab a drink, play some arcade games, and stroll right into the venue through their connected back door (with a minimum purchase)? The vibe here is on point--laid-back but buzzing with pre-show energy. The staff is awesome, and Matt, our bartender for most of the night, absolutely crushed it. Great cocktails, fun shots (including a wild one with a relish back), the coolest-looking Jell-O shots, a
Amazing times, great bar and even better staff! Always a blast and love this place!
What a better way to start your evening at the Salt Shed before an event by playing some games but most of all getting some drinks to start your night. Game selections were great but the bar selections were even better. Would definitely recommend stopping in here to start off your night or to end your night!
I just came here the other day. I believe it's brand new. It was a lot of fun, something different to mix things up. Had a pretty interesting crowd there give the show that was taking place at Salt Shed next door. I will definitely be checking it out again! I believe some nights it is closed due to shows, so you should check out their social media before heading over.
I didn't visit the arcade, so I can't speak for that. I ate here before a concert. The beer I wanted was not available. I can understand. I ordered the Jungle Boogie beer on tap and was served a Jungle Juice cocktail. I ordered the mushroom and miso pizza slice, I was given a cheese slice. I will try Elston Electric again someday because it is fair to give a second chance.
Such a big variety of games! Very cool bar too, with reasonable prices. You get a reusable card to load credits on which makes it super convenient. Definitely will be back!
Excellent arcade with a lot of variety. I wouldn't mind a wider beer selection though
The girls are talm?bout that BooBoo DDR. Apparently it hit
Cool place to play games. Great selection of pinball and arcade games. I like the open hours especially on weekends.
Amazing number of games, state of the art to old school pin ball. Great group of folks!
Went here with my girl last week and she won't stop talking about boo boo DDR
Good food, good games, nice time
This place is amazing!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
