I can't say enough good things about this business. If you like pinball, this is pinball heaven. Great value, a massive array of machines from many eras in great, working condition. I could spend days in here getting lost in these great machines, what a gem. Please support this business!

What a place! I had been wanting to visit ever since I heard about this unique museum. But life is busy and I kept planning to get there someday. Thankfully my child had a group event to attend there so I hung separately for some fun. They have a great assortment of machines! Plus, there isn't just pinball. After my child's event played some bowling against each other. Michael was super friendly and helpful, answering my questions about machines, especially the Star Trek one. For some multi-level, lo

What a gift to have something like this still exist in Rhode Island. $10 all you can play and since it's arranged by decades you can walk a straight line through the entire history of pinball. So cool! Owner is a very nice guy doing a special thing for those of us who really care about these games.

Well worth the 90 minute drive from New Haven. So many machines to play, so many more needing repairs, but that is to be expected for this type of business. It was nice talking to Mike, knowing how the business is growing with its machines. I will definitely be coming back!

Super fun and interesting! Worth the visit. 2 hours went by like 15 minutes. Very cool to try all types of pinball machines and experience their progression over time.

What a fun place. Our kids loved it (and we did too)!! Fun games, a fun environment and not crowded so we had the ability to play all the types of games available. And Mike (the manager/owner?) was incredible. So friendly, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, even for our young kids. We'd definitely go back!

A great value and so much fun....Took my dad for his first time....it costs $10 to get in...But you can play unlimited pinball games....They have so.many different ones to choose from and racing games....They have an upstairs part with ping pong and other games...You can rent out a room for birthday parties. We had so much fun ??

Super cool pinball spot! A little tucked in and feels a tiny bit hidden to get to, but once you head in there's plenty to see. I've been to a few other pinball arcades in the northeast and even a different pinball museum and still saw a ton of cabinets here that I've never seen before. The owner Mike greeted me and my partner as we came in and was very personable, really added a nice vibe right at the start.

Fantastic people! I spoke to the family that runs this place and you can tell there love for pinball machines! With their volunteers they definitely try to keep on on maintaining all there machines.. I will continue to stop by and support these folks!!

What an awesome spot. Low key, relaxed and just good fun. Took my daughter on a rainy day and 3 hours later were both laughing and smiling! Great memory. I'm looking forward to returning.

A Must-Visit for Pinball Fans! I had an awesome time at the Electromagnetic Pinball Museum and Restoration! The atmosphere was fun and nostalgic, packed with an incredible variety of machines from different eras. Mike is an awesome guy giving us a tour around the building. My favorite was definitely Terminator 2?such a classic and still so much fun to play. The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about pinball. Whether you're a hardcore enthusiast or just looking for a unique an

WHAT A GEM! Stumbled across this place online and decided to check it out - wasn't quite sure what I was going to find. Owners & workers were super friendly and excited to be there - nevermind excited - they were proud to be there! Mostly pinball machines from many different vintages, but they also had major arcade smash hits, air hockey and a few other typical arcade finds. They are an active restoration/repair site, so there are machines that aren't working - don't be dismayed by it as there are many mac

This is an amazing museum in so many ways, a true labor of love, scrappy, punk rock, independent and real. There's an incredible collection of pinball machines here, most of which are playable. There are other vintage electronic games as well, which add to the fun. All ages were having a great time here. I can't recommend this place enough. It's worth coming to this area from afar just to come to this museum.

The nostalgia! Felt right back in the 80?s, and I'm just as bad at pinball as I was then, and it's still a blast. Me and my denim jacket had a great time.

If you like pinball or want to try pinball, this is the place to do it. They charge $10 for free play all day. So if you are new to pinball you can get a lot of practice in for cheap. There is a wide range of games here from all different eras of pinball history. I highly recommend spending some time here and checking out all the games.

No Pawsox? No problem. No movie theater? Also no problem. Found this wonderful place a couple years back and had a great time. Recently visited again and got to play around on many of the games available. Worth the cost of admission for the games alone, and the people that work there certainly enhance the experience. Polite, funny, friendly, treat you like longtime friends. If you're in Pawtucket and don't know what to do, go here.

Mike thank you for the tour I really appreciate showing me and my brother and his girlfriend around. You have a real solid place and are extremely knowledgeable about those pinball machines. Can't wait to come back!

Truly a one of a kind, unique place. Mike was so friendly and passionate. You can tell that this place is truly a labor of love. The tour he gave us was incredibly detailed. When he sussed out that we were pretty big fans of pinball, he set up a few tables he normally doesn't and periodically he would recommend different tables for us to play on. Towards the end of our visit, he even gave us free pins. This place is absolutely massive. When we first arrived, we were the only ones there and we couldn't beli

Pinball fanatic. This place is real deal. Grace and Mike are lovely. Got a full tour even before I flipped a ball. Great selection of pins in good shape. Only had 45 min, could have spent 24 hrs. 10 bucks for free play is unreal. I watched Mike showing a family tricks and keeping younger generation excited. Can't wait to return with some TIME. My pictures stink and don't do it justice.

Absolutely amazing nostalgia trip and more. I wish I'd found this place a long time ago. Ten bucks to play all the games for as long as you want. Michael is awesome and provides a great little tour of the whole place, very friendly and knows everything about these machines. Seeing some machines that were made in the 40s and 50s, although mostly unplayable due to their age and delicacy, was really neat. The newer pinball machines - rush, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Avengers, TMNT - are very fun to play and some

We were driving through and the kids were on an arcade fix, so I figured try and see when they get bored. We spent 3.5 hours. And sure, they had to watch as I ?one last time? a couple favorites at the end lol. The owner is amazing and energetic and extremely friendly and kept the kids attention and felt a safe space they could wander (2 floors / awesome warehouse). Wish it was closer; will be back.

Occasionally, you'll find a business or shop that's open because of one or two people. Those shop owners are passionate, hardworking, and it shows through the sheer volume of whatever product they are producing or supplying. In this case, the supply is a particular kind of game called pinball. Though it's not limited to that. The entrance to the museum serves only as a door. The entrance has an almost holy feel, spartan yet sacred, like when you walk through it you'll be transported to a scene in "Fight Cl

What a cool place! Talked with the owners when we first arrived, they gave us a run down and were so welcoming! It's $10 for unlimited play of all machines that are working, they also take donations which I highly recommend contributing. There are also other arcade games other than pinball so lots of variety. We spent hours in here, welcome place for all age groups!

brought my boyfriend here for the first time, and despite him not being a pinball fan, he had a fun time playing! again, awesome business owner, with a mindful presence and knowledge for pinball/classic arcade machines. a great place for these games to be, i love coming back from awhile and seeing the new additions!

This is a great place to spend an afternoon or evening. Mike gave us a tour and taught us about the different machines, and the cool difference between the decades. They have machines from every decade and they all work great. So fun! The kids and adults had the BEST time. Mike and Emily are passionate about their business and a pleasure to talk to! $10 donation included all day play, with re-entry if you wanted.

SENSORY OVERLOAD!!! Came all the way from Kentucky to check this place out. Their collection of vintage pinball machines really took me back to my childhood. They also had a good selection of 90?s machines that were a blast to play. 10$ for all you could play was very fair! I am majorly jealous of these dudes. I am grateful they opened up their collection because I thoroughly enjoyed it!!!!

Awesome place! Michael and Emily put a lot of care into making this a fun and authentic place to play pinball - no commercial/chain arcade vibe here. Michael welcomed us and gave us a tour. About 70% of the pinball machines were working (including the Addams Family and Led Zeppelin). Some of the non-working machines were donated and are part of the museum. For instance, there are some 1940's machines for show. If pinball is not for you, there is air hockey as well as vintage arcade games like Ms. Pac Man, S

Good people are good people, and these are the best. $10 per person to play all that you want on classic vintage collectors pinball and arcade games. We've been there a few times on weekdays and weekends, and it's been so much fun every time.

I had never heard about this place, and I was blown away by the selection of games! The value is unbeatable. I will be going back again very soon! Only downside was our experience visiting the restroom at night. You have to exit out the back into the main facility, walk up a flight of stairs until you find the restroom. During our trip, we came back to the arcade, and the door was locked! No way back in, and no obvious path out. We wandered through several halls until we found another exit to the parking l

This place made me fall in love with pinball! and the skiball and various other games make sure there's a little something for everyone. great place to take a group!

What a great place. Hidden gem. The owner, Michael, I believe was his name, was very kind and knowledgeable. $10 all you can play. Seemingly hundreds of pinball machines, arcade games, skiball. Air hockey, etc. I recommend Addams Family Collector's Edition Pinball. It's great. I was transported back to the 90's upon entering a three-man race with three good buddies on Cruising World Arcade with the steering wheels. Very cool.

What started as a place to kill some time on my drive back from vacation turned into 7 hours of games for $10. You won't beat that price per game anywhere. I loved how they not only had pinball but even other arcades including the rare 8 person x-men. If your into racing they have plenty of those most hooked up to play against each other. Had to have been 4 or 5 different racing games hooked up. Some solo and plenty for groups. Then when your talking pinball they had to have over 100 working machines. No

One of the coolest spots in Pawtucket! There are meant arcade bars popping up in the reason but this place is special. The focus here is definitely playing the games, and not any extras like at other spots (food, drink etc). The staff is extremely passionate about the machines and their history. They have a lot of knowledge about why things were made a certain way. We asked questions and they were open to all of them. They have machines from the 1940s!!!! If you're in the area I highly suggest a visit. It?

This place is a ?must visit?. The owners (Mike and Emily) are happy to provide a guided tour and they know their stuff! You can spend hours playing pinball; pure joy. If a machine isn't plugged in, just ask; if it's ready, they are happy to accommodate!! Do not pass on this experience when you're in town.

Pinball, Pacman, skeeball, box soccer, air hockey, racing - the amount of games will blow your mind - coolest place ever!!! All you can play for $10 .. all day. The location looks dicey but if you have a backbone, love gaming and the 80s.. this spot is fire ??

Stumbled across this hidden gem and it was absolutely a highlight of our trip! Such a fun and relaxed environment. The owner is clearly so passionate about what he does. Will be back.

just a beautiful vintage archive which you can definitely play with. my friend and I had so much fun and took really cute pictures. The owner Mike was spectacular..

5 stars is NOT enough for this place. I'm not even really that into pinball, but this place is awesome. There's 2 floors, and it's more than just pinball, there's a few old arcade machines and other related things. Some seriously wild stuff. Also, the owner, Mike, is awesome. Super cool place, definitely recommend

Had a variety if pinball machines from early to modern. Alot of favorites of the 80's and 90's. $10 to play as long as you want is a steal and a great day. I will definetly be back.

The gentlemen who runs and operates the Electromagnetic Pinball Museum is a fantastic guy. All those machines he restores himself. When I walked in he was elbows deep in another pinball machine fixing it. He loves giving people a tour of both floors of pinball machines. He genuinely lives pinball, working on the machines and sharing that passion with anyone else. Plus only $10 to play ALL DAY is a crazy deal. You can play until your fingers go numb haha

This place was awesome I most say. It was our first time there. As soon as we walked in we got greeted so kind, friendly, n respectfully. The man explained very little thing 2 us n the gave us a tour around. When I mean I learned things about pin ball machines that I would have never even imagined. 2 see that some of the machines where even signed by famous ppl was cool. I also liked the game room my daughter had a blast in there. These place 2 me has a little bit of everything 4 every1. U don't get no tick

Visiting RI from Ireland and came across this place online. It's incredible, a real museum of pinball and arcades. Mike was so nice and welcoming also. The price you pay for the entertainment you get is unbeatable.

Very nice experience for just 10 dollars . You can play the whole day. People are very nice

If you like pinball go here. It's kind of an odd building but it works well for all of the old pinball and arcade machines they have. There are roughly 100 pinball machines in the main room and when we went about 70% were working. The $10 fee for unlimited plays is really cool, it allows you to try machines that you otherwise might not. In general my family thought we would rather go back here than the pinball hall of fame in Vegas, despite the odd building and not counting that this one is close to home.

What a great, nostalgic attraction. Dozens of old pinball machines I had not seen for 40 years. Plus many more "modern" video games from the Pac Man era. A cool place in a great mill space.

OMG!!! This is the place to go if you want to be a kid and play pinball and explore awesome cool pinballs! I was so amazed how cool this place was! DEFINITELY going back! My favorite ones were Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin? they play their songs as you play!!! We live in CT and my husband, 20 year old son drove to go there! Michael was very knowledgeable and explained in detail about the museum!!! Everyone was very nice!!! DEFINITELY WORTH THE TRIP!!! ~Joanne

This place was an absolute dump and a complete disappointment. They only have maybe 30-35 games and more than half were out of service. There is no restoration occurring here and the machines are kept in a terrible state. The building itself is dirty, there are creepy hallways with no signage that go to random parts of the building. The employees really couldn't be bothered to do anything. This place is not worth it's modest price which is ashame. We'll never go back. I wish someone else would open a place

110 games and not all pinball in case you like arcade games and driving games they have them. $10 pp unlimited plays, no coins or tokens. Fun way to spend the day!

This place is awesome had a great time will definitely be back soon. Classic arcade games notaglic pinball and my favorite air hockey!!!!The staff is top notch so friendly and informative about the games. 04/19/25

Super cool spots, tons of pinball, lots of arcade games too, Mike was super nice, highly recommended

The Electromagnetic Pinball Museum has quickly become one of my favorite places. With a vast collection of pinball machines, arcade games, and popular family games like skee ball, there is something for everyone. Take a stroll down memory lane with some of your favorite pinball machines, and some that were here well before you were born. Or, teach your kids and grandkids all about this great pastime. Did I mention, this isn't just a museum, it's a freelance arcade. That's right! You pay a small fee (current

This place is amazing. So much fun and so much to do. The owner, Mike, is such a cool "kid". If you aren't going here, I don't know what you're doing.

Our kids love this place! Unlimited free games. $10 to enter. Reentry allowed all day. A zillion fun old games. Vintage pinball, arcade games, skeeball, air hockey, foosball, you name it. Friendly staff in a quirky space.

We had a blast here! There are so many games to choose from, and everyone is so helpful and friendly. Mike?s tour was super interesting and a great introduction to the place. Parking was easy, it's right off the highway, and it's great for kids and adults alike. What more could you want? We can't wait to go back!

What an amazing experience! I went on a first date with my now girlfriend of two months, and we both had a blast! The machines were incredibly fun to play, and while a few weren't fully functional, it's important to remember that this is both a museum and an arcade. The owner was exceptionally friendly and passionate about the machines; he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a fantastic time. I can't recommend this place enough!

Super welcoming place where not only do they have a lot of gaming (pinballs, skeeball, racing games, PacMan for an all day $10 pass), but they also understand overstimulation so they have comfortable seating for when you need a break. Autism runs in my family so I appreciated how they cater to all neurotypes!

Made a pit stop here on our way from Baltimore to Maine and so glad that we did! Mike was so nice and gave us a tour upon our arrival. Only $10 per person for unlimited play. The time really flew by- before we knew it we had been there for 3 hours!

outstanding! I feel like a kid again back in an arcade in the 80's. this place is amazing. nice and air conditioned. free play on all the games so you can get to levels that would have cost 50 quarters back in the day. why is this place not the hottest place in Providence?! you have to come here if you like pinball or classic video games from the 80s. it's amazing. i still remember the pattern on pac man, lol. i played games long forgotten but they instantly triggered memories.

Simply AWESOME. Amazing, friendly, and passionate owners. Fun for kids and adults. Only $10. What more could you want?

Amazing collection of some pretty rare cabinets. Very nice staff and good vibes! Wish I lived closer so I could go more often!

Took the kids here just for the heck of it. Mike, our "guide" gave us a quick tour of the place. He was very nice and enthusiastic about the different pinball machines. We spent close to 3 hours here and the kids tried almost all of the games available. The air hockey tables won them over though! ??

Place is a blast.Cheapest date I ever been on with my girlfriend.20 bucks for both of us and you can stay all day.Owner is super cool.Had so much fun.Brought back memories of growing up in the 80s being in a grungy arcade lol

Awesome place. Many pinball machines to play. From the 60s all the way to current. Owner was extremely friendly and gave us the tour. Other arcade machines to play other than just pinball as well as a gift shop. Will definitely be back. Would definitely recommend checking out.

I was blown away by the experience at this place. There is a wide variety of machines: everything from very old to brand new. Some of the machines need some work, but that's pinball! The "Ball Park" machine by Williams in the hallway is something to see. Also the "Rick and Morty" machine for all those fans out there. Definitely coming back here when I'm back in Rhode Island!

100+ pinball and stand up games. Air hockey, ping pong, cruisin. Friendly staff, chill vibe. $10 all you can play.

Michael, the owner, was very knowledgeable about each game. The place had kinda weird lighting, and the second floor was not climate controlled. Kinda felt like a weirdo friend's basement full of pinball machines (not a bad thing). For the price and nostalgia, I'd definitely go back.

What a fun place with such a kind and welcoming owner! We will definitely be back! Also it's not just pin ball machines! Lots of other retro arcade games as well!

So much fun! Amazing collection of vintage and modern pinball machines. Get the tour to learn all about them. I highly recommend a visit! $10 for all you can play, great deal!

Just visited for the first time and I can't wait to go back! Decades of classic games, just waiting to be played. All my favorites were there, plus so many treasures to (re-)discover!

We had a blast at this place. Flat fee and play as long as you want. Excellent variety from skeeball to driving games ans Simpson?s pinball. The guys there are super nice and answer questions about the vintage and newer machines. We were visiting from out of town. Stopped on our way back to Newport from Mystic. So glad we did. We played about two hours. Would have stayed longer but we were all hungry. They said we could come back after eating. Great family fun. They give you free bottled water and the

What a fantastic place. The love of pinball is evident in every inch of the space. The owner, Mike, made us feel right at home and was a wonderful dude all around. I casually mentioned that I wanted to learn more about the internals of the machines and he popped one open right there and gave me a 101 on diagnosing a pinball table! I was blown away. Definitely going back!

Many Functional Pineball machines & Many more old machines in the Museum 2nd floor. For 10$ you get well worth your money in my opinion. Even if some of the machines do not work. They are often reapaired so check back or talk to one of the staff on the status. Its a Museum so the machines are old with that classic feel to everything.

Such an awesome place! So many different pinball games and other fun arcade games. Good for adults and children. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful time here! Staff was very friendly, and gave us a tour. They have machines spanning from the 50s to the present, and have many classic arcade and video games as well. Highly recommend!

This place is special: great variety of games, a lot of enthusiasm and great atmosphere from the employees and other visitors. Looks like they have potential to grow in the building and the collection of video games is a fun break as well. Every game I played was in good working order, no disappointments. Well worth a visit.

I came for a fund raising event. Much to my surprise is was a walk back in time to the days of an arcade! Great place, nice people! All games from back in the day!

Great arcade for pinball and more. Wide selection of machines from all eras. Family-friendly fun for all!

$10/play for free all day. Great working pinball and arcade machines from 50s to today. Very knowledgeable and friendly owner. Open daily. Give it a shot!

Fantastic! There are dozens of pinball machines (vintage and new) in addition to other arcade games that are on FREE PLAY! We spent a few hours playing just about everything and I could have spent the whole day here. Mike is an encyclopedia of pinball history and the inner workings of every machine. There were historic machines, an autographed by Star Trek pinball, some of the earliest arcade games. I can't say enough about how great this place is - will totally be back ASAP. Plus - onsite parking, inside a

In short: an unexpected, AWESOME experience. Happened to come across this place on Maps. Prior to going, we figured it'd be a unique experience for an hour. We ended up staying there for over three hours! From the moment you enter, you're greeted by friendly, helpful, enthusiastic staff. One of the owners, Michael, is beyond excited to teach and show you what is available. His passion and enthusiasm is contagious!!! There's much more to do than just pinball! It's honestly the best deal for an arcade we'v

This place is awesome! So many cool pinball and arcade games to play, and for only $10 a person to play, how can you go wrong? The Team here are passionate about what they do, knowledgeable, and approachable. If you are in the area and love pinball, definitely make sure you stop in!

I was there an hour but the $10 admission was still worth it. I played Pac-Man, The Addams Family, Terminator, Star Trek, and lots of other pinball, driving, and shooting games. There are also two air hockey tables and skeeball machines.

You want to have an extremely enjoyable day of pinball, racing games, and general arcade history? This is the absolute place! So many different pinball machines from the 50s (or earlier) up to today are available to you for a small price. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, making you want to stay here even longer than you should. Highly, highly recommend!

Affordable and unique entertainment! It's awesome that you can spend hours playing games here for such a good price.

I saw the sign for this place months ago and decided to take my son here this past weekend. The owner is really friendly and gives you a quick tour of the place and some history on certain pinball machines. At ten dollars per person to play pinball and some video games all day, it's an amazing deal and a nice way to kill a few hours. Go give them some business!

The folks working here were awesome! And everything about this place was perfect. Lots of fun, could spend hours here.

We had such a blast here! The vibe is low key and down to earth. The owners were so welcoming and they were nice enough to grab me some super glue for my shoe! There's a great number of pinball machines, afew old video games and a lounge area with board games! This place was great. It does not have that "loud bar atmosphere" that some arcades have, which is another reason why I love this place compared to others! I'll be back, definitely!

It's such a cute spot! $10 to play all day is a steal. The staff are so friendly and informative and the little tour was super lovely. Will have to go again next time I'm in the area.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?
