It is a bowling alley (or at 1 time it was) it was big and well lit and looked like it was going to be fun....but The snack bar wasn't open, all arcade games were not working, and only 6 bowling lanes worked. I bet it used to be great there when it was maintained .
Bad service, took forever to receive my pizza 30 minutes later while they sat on their butts and when I went to ask for my pizza they barely started cooking it so basically I waited almost hour and it wasn't even busy at all lonely and empty,,,last time I take my family here,
Best time ever. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Were also great extending the extra hand to help me with my 90 year old mother and handicapped 40 year old daughter.
This bowling location is one of the worst experiences I v had. The lanes didn't have side bumpers for kids. My son quit playing on 2nd game. Limited bowling balls. The snack bar was very disappointing, nachos no toppings available, pizza was a medium but say that it was a large, frier wasn't working so all of the menu options thats are on the website wasnt available. Arcade area, all games were not working, just the basketball game and the claw machine. The website shows air hockey, and it wasn't even
Lanes didn't work correctly after their rework and the people working the counter were not much help. Had high hopes the bowling alley would be nice but we are probably not going back. Smelt like burnt pizza also and trash wasn't picked up on empty tables next to us on the lane.
Nice new facility. Snack bar food was good. We bowled on two lanes, one for kids the other for adults. We had to call an attendant on every other frame because the scoring machine was not working right on either lane. It caused the kids to fight constantly because they didn't know who's turn it was. I will not come here again.
Clean Facilities and ample room. Friendly staff but several members of my party were charged for shoe rental but not for actually playing. When we realized this we had to get in line again and pay what was missed. Better attention to detail would greatly benefit the overall experience! Apart from the previousIy mentioned, the overall experience was fun.
Great place to have a drink & bowl with kids and friends.
A great place to hang out if you're a teenager or even an adult. Great for birthday parties without busting the bank. They offer accessibility like bumpers and roller rails. They also have three pool tables and an arcade in decent condition. They feature a bar.
Our church rented El Campo Bowling Center for an event this summer and EVERYONE had a Great Time!! Abby and the staff were Amazing; they were so easy to work with and handled everything perfectly!! With bowling, playing in the arcade and playing pool there is something for everyone to enjoy!! We cannot wait for our next event here!!
They have family packages on the weekend that include 2 hours of bowling, drinks and popcorn, it is just enough to keep the kids and adults satisfied and good family fun. The facility is nice, family orientated to about 7yrs and up, no daycare or things for the smaller ones. Game room, pool tables, and bowling. bowling and decent food, expect bowling alley prices.
This is one of the most over priced bowling alleys Ive ever seen. Also the website says $6 a game per person online for Sunday's ( still over priced ) . But dude at the front tried telling me it was $11 a person a game. Thats ridiculous !! Anyone paying that much is crazy. Go to victoria. $10 an hour. 8 games is cheaper than one at this place
Service here was terrible. Very unfriendly staff. Came in for the BOGO offer on their sign and they didn't acknowledge it. When I mentioned it to the guy he said it was for the softball tournament. I told him that's exactly why we came to town and I have my tickets to prove it, he just shrugged his shoulders. So we purchased 2 games full price and they turned off the lanes before we even finished our last game. The first pair of shoes he game me were completely busted out. The lane kept malfunctioning and
Very beautiful church. My mother became Catholic when my daughter started going to the school there so I usually join them on the holy days. My step dad and I are confirmed Lutherans but Catholics can be real bullies on holidays. ??????????????
I have been to this place just once. The staff is nice and friendly. Good atmosphere. You can go out with your friends or family. They serve food and soda
Everyone that works there is so friendly The kids always have a great time when we go. Food and drink and alcohol prices are all very reasonably priced.
Not only did they try to charge me $120+ for unlimited bowling for 3 people but one of the staff put a BOOGER in my drink. Idk how it got in there if he put the lid on after he filled them up but I am damn sure it was not mine. When approached he acted as if he didn't know what it was but the people I was with saw and knew exactly what it was.
Its a great place to take my grandchildren they loved it. People there were friendly and had good service. Food was good too.
Great place for a kids birthday party. Everything was great other than the lady working behind the desk was short and rude like you were inconveniencing her.
What a great time our youth group had bowling. The venue was family friendly, clean and the attendants were super helpful and patient with so many kids to attend to. 2 ??way, way up!!
Great Cozy Family Environment bowling alley! I received great service from the girls working the service counter and by a guy named Jeff who helped me get my bowling ball drilled. I will be back to bowl and getting more services done.
El Campo Bowling Center is a great bowling and party resource for El Campo and surrounding communities. I've had lunch at the Snack Bar several times and the hamburgers and cheeseburgers are exceptional. Have some onion rings with your burger and you'll be happy, happy, happy!
Great place to bowl and play pool also other games for the kids. Food and alcohol bar is a little to high priced for me.
We took a group of elementary kids. They were very kid friendly and ready for us when we got there. A fun place!
Never bowled there, but I go for lunch on Fridays. Best chicken strips in town and the fried pickles are awesome. Burgers are also great!
The lanes and tables were clean and the staff helpful and friendly. My family and I went to cosmos bowling which is regular bowling with black and disco lights, we played three very fun games!
Birthday party was great they where very helpful.
Neat, clean, and very friendly staff. Food is great. Good place for the whole family.
Great fun with friends and family! Staff little slow at fixing stuck balls or resetting lanes that weren't working themselves.
Had a great time and a-lot of fun! Thank you ... will definitely be back.
Staff is polite, food is good, facility is kept clean. Reasonable prices.
Great place to gather for some fun bowling. The concession has good burgers and yes there is a place to drink.
Ok. If your a youngster. Nice place to Bowl or play a game or two of Pool. Alot of Teens on weekends though.
Nicer that i thought it would be, well lit, has a game room and some pool tables too.
Nice place. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Kid friendly.
There was no one that would cook food to order. So if you are thinking of going bowling and get anything to eat don't go to this bowl center.
Great people but machine kept messing up during the game
Great place for a family outing
Had our son's birthday party, everything went great... Thanks
Would have been a three or four if the lane would have gave our balls back
I mean had better dance floors and disco but its ight ya know
Friendly environment, my kids had a blast !
Love to come play pool and eat the yummy food there!
Why did they get rid of the gutters for the kids. A little upsetting.
Clean, bright and plenty of room for entertaining.
Nice staff, very patient with small kids.
Awesome food and place I give it a 5 star
I start a game on lane 16. I was switched to lane 15 and now there are problems with lane 15.
Really good other then the arcade which is not worth it
Very nice place to hang with family!! ??????
Friendly employees, good music, and fun.
Bowling league here. Fixing the lanes is best thing for the bowling ally
It sucks the return machines doesn't work all the time
Nice place to bring family for a game or two of bowling!
Great Family Place I love it
Great time for a low price
It was sooo!! Much fun
So glad they have in in El campo
Fun time for the whole family
Nice family atmosphere
Great time with the seniors
Great customer service
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
