So. Much. Fun! We ate at the restaurant first. Our server was so sweet! She made sure our drinks were full and the food was delicious! I had the buffalo chicken Mac and Cheese. My husband had the nachos. We would order it again! There wasn't a bite left. The kids and us adults had a blast playing the games and then picking out prizes. The Wizard of Oz coin pusher didn't disappoint. The staff on the game side were helpful and full of smiles!
Went for the doorbuster special. Not all the arcade games are included which kinda sucks but it's still a decent deal for everything including laser tag. Didn't try the food yet. Bowling was fun. Don't forget to wear socks. Lol
This is a review of the arcade. We have been a few time to play the unlimited game play for a 2 hour time slot. My young kids enjoy the games they have. Some games are highlighted green and some are highlighted red. There are two package levels for the green and the red. It might be close to a 50/50 split with the games. Our most recent trip we noticed an over abundance of Out of Order machines. This is a fun place to spend a little time for a decent price.
Edison?s is always the number one place I think of when I think of a fun place to go to have a good time. The food is usually delicious and I never find myself getting bored there. There are so many options to choose from ranging from laser tag to a bowling alley. It is great for all ages and has a huge variety of games to play on the arcade area. I would recommend going if you are in the area or just visiting.
We had a good time the kids had fun the laser tag was really cool and games geared toward younger kids as well as older. Food was awesome but Bowling took forever and after 3 hours there we still didn't bowl cause it still wasn't our turn so we will try again another time
I like the place. The employees are great and welcoming. The food is good, and it has a good vibe. The main issue that I see is maintaining the devices and games. There are so many broken machines there, which must be repaired!
Great place. But whatever package you buy for the kids to play games, make sure you ask if it will collect tickets ?? because some you don't collect tickets! Kids want to play games and then use their tickets at the end to pick out the prize they want! Learned the hard way!
Fun time, however, I picked this place because it clearly states on the website they have night bowling 1/2 price from 9:30-11:30 only to find out they close at 11 and I was only able to bowl for 1 hour. If you changed your hours then it's probably a good idea to update your website so you don't mislead people. I would?ve went elsewhere.
The staff and service was great. The food looked really good but we just had a couple of beverages while our kids played the games. Our kids (12 & 14) always have fun and want to stay all night. If anything could be improved it would be the price of game passes that allow you to win prizes. I feel like you have to spend a lot to win anything worth while. I think we spent a total of $60 for the two of them and they got one tootsie roll in the end. Overall, the place is great!
We recently had the pleasure of visiting Edison's Entertainment Complex on our annual Community Link Staff Appreciation Day, and I must say it was an absolute blast! This outing was a fantastic way for our staff to unwind, bond, and feel valued for our hard work during this past year. The entire experience we had here left a lasting, positive impression on all of us. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and had a great layout, making it easy to navigate and find the games and attractions our staff were
For what it is, this is a fun place for kids, teens and yes, even adults. First off, it's loud. If you don't like loud, loud gives you a headache, loud keeps you from focusing out having a good time, then don't come here. Seriously, just don't. However, if you are okay with loud, then you will probably enjoy yourself. There's a high-tech bowling alley. Self-scoring, auto pop-up bumpers for the little ones, colorful billiard-themed balls with large visible weights printed on them. If you are there at night
I wanted to go bowling to my birthday and this seemed like it had something for everyone. We bowled and played in the arcade. When the kids are older I'd love to try the laser tag and eat at the restaurant! We did have a hard time finding lighter balls for the kids and the lanes are pretty close to each other. I grew up with bowling etiquette where you wait for the person next to you to bowl before you do. This is not on the establishment but with very close lanes and everything on the same level it's distr
Have been taking my family here for years, spent several thousand dollars doing an event there aswell?needless to say we were a fan of the place. Out last visit was our last visit for a while. Food was great no complaints there, afterwards we (family if 5) bought the all access pass for the games was slightly over $100. I was highly disappointed when a third of the games required additional payment, the other two thirds if the games were either broken or was out of order. After about an hour you can clearly
Always a fun destination. Helpful staff, too. One of them did something they weren't supposed to, just to helpbus out. That's going above and beyond!
We went on a Sunday. We saw the 4p to close deal so we thought why not? It was a good time. We played some games and bowled. But, things you must know if you do the Sunday evening deal; 1. You're not allowed to play all the games 2. You earn 0 tickets (which I get but I would have liked a heads up or maybe I would have not done the deal) The games need servicing badly. Space invaders works but the aim is off, the frogger was jammed, the ball toss literally jammed up while being used, and the list goes on. T
Half the games don't work and the half that do work, don't work well. Bowling and Lazer tag are the only things done well. For the amount of money spent i expect a better experience. This place is taking in more than enough to replace/repair the arcade games. The food is 3 star, at a 4.5 star price. I like the idea of Edisons, but it always leaves me disappointed and wanting more.
I honestly don't have to give too many negative reviews, but this place warranted one. The positives about the establishment is the variety of games, most of which were working. The major negative for me is the scummy practice of locking earning tickets for prizes behind points cards. If you purchase a 2 hour playtime card, those cards do not count towards earning tickets regardless of the game you play. Only points cards can earn tickets towards prizes, and I understand that people could rush around and tr
Nice, clean establishment. Great bday party packages. Perfect for entertaining both children and adults. I really like the size of this place too. Not too big and not too small. Whenever I was looking for kiddos, they were either in the party room, the arcade area or the laser tag. Couch seating in the bowling area was a nice touch. Overall, I would highly recommend!!
My kids always enjoy Edison?s! And Sunday-Thursday a family of 4 can eat, drink, and play for less than $70! My only complaint is the garlic Parmesan chicken is literally just nuggets with seasoning and actual shredded Parmesan cheese on top ??
The ambiance was amazing and the musicians were so fantastic. I enjoyed hearing a few personal details from the quartet as they announced the next piece to be played. Easy venue to get to and the staff were so helpful checking in and getting to our seats. It was such an amazing show I didn't want to leave. I seriously could have stayed another hour. 10/10 performances and I have tickets to another fever event soon.
Overpriced and half the arcade machines were broken at the time we went. They make you pay extra for the special arcade games not included in the hour specials. Restaurant is overpriced. The laser tag is outdated and boring. Very cramped and crowded. I recommend going to GAME OVER in Alton, their new arcade offers everything with a ton more space and no off limit arcades for extra cash grabs.
All of the food was so incredibly delicious. We had hot wings, pizza and quesidillas and everything was great. We were watching the dishes coming out and everything looked so good. The card system on Tuesday night with the unlimited plays wa great. The child actuay got tired before the games ran out. We've had 2 birthdays there, for the older kids, before and they've always had a great time. This was a week day so we just did a low key celebration. The restaurant also gave her a sparkling sticker that she lo
It's fun, the food is good, and the laser tag is a good time. The arcade machines are upkept pretty well too. Just make sure to wash your hands often, I manage to get sick every time I go
Reasonable price and kids had a blast they were busy on a Saturday evening to be expected food was really good staff was quick and friendly we had a good experience!! Would recommend and will go back!!
We were in town from KC visiting my sister and came here to let the kids have some fun. The card you can buy for the unlimited 3hours of play, laser tag and bowling is worth it. Some of the games were broken or just needed a reset so that sucked. My kiddos still had fun. With as busy as it was I was surprised but there were no waits for bowling or laser tag.
Got a 8 kid room reserved today. The kids had a great time. They did pizza, laser tag, arcade, and bowling. Another great birthday on the books.
Great place to book parties. We had our company christmas party here. Excellent service!!
Collin? The manager I believe a sweet younger guy; I'm so sorry it's been a crazy week but I finally got to it! ~~ He absolutely nailed everything & then some!!!! HIGHLY Commend your service and genuineness went above and beyond to make me and my boyfriend's kids have literally the best rainy day to ever be had. Will mist definitely be visiting again soon! Happy Holidays everyone!
Caleb K. Was a great server. He was friendly all of our food came on time and enjoyed having him as a server
Awesome food and variety of things to do. Laser tag and bowling were great, and the $20 for 3 hours and access to everything itd a good value. Arcade could use some variety and more adult games, though. Definitely dont choose here if you're mainly coming for gaming.
Highly suggest not making a reservation for a bowling lane due to their process of reservations. We lost our reservation to a lane due to them saying I didn't answer my phone to confirm which I never got a call. I double checked my phone and did not. Really should work on a different system for reservations. Not depend on people having to answer a phone call. Seems odd.
It's okay the Lazer tag is very small compared to others I been to. And the arcades they are boring i miss the old arcades. Bowling can be fun at times but nothing special compared to other bowling allys. Does not meet my standards
Group of 13 went here for boyfriends bday. Asked for table. While waiting we let the kids play games which half of the games just took the money cause they were down and not marked. Waited over an hour(which is understandable) but when came time to be sat they only put us down for 6 . How I don't know? The male hostess was rude and very confused. He basically threw menus into my hand when I asked to sit on patio. By then manager and female hostess figured a way to get us sat close together inside. I wrote m
It was pretty packed around 9pm. The games were decently priced and the food was about a 6/10. Overall, we had a great experience
Edison is edwardsvilles Supreme entertainment complex. The bowling alleys are numerous and in Great condition. It appears as if they got new bowling balls. The bar and arcade are good. The laser tag is a good laser tag experience however it sometimes is very empty or only little kids. They have a vr ride which is very fun but a little pricey. The air hockey table however is very bad along with quite a bit of wear and tear on some of the arcade machines. This is overall a great experience for family and frie
Customer service was poor. I brought my service dog with me and we were blatantly ignored for dine in seating. When we finally got seated it took 20 minutes before anyone offered to take our drink order. I felt as though we were poorly treated due to having a service animal. The games are over priced for the cheap little prizes offered. You can get better prizes at a Chuckies Cheese. The only thing going for this place is the bowling and the bar. Not really fun for kids.
This place has it all! Multi level laser tag, bowling, arcade and a great food selection. Staff were friendly and provided stellar service.
A little pricey but very fun. Our grandson loved us taking him there.
Amazing food and all sorts of fun packed under 1 very big roof. Aldo 2 awesome outdoors areas.
The bowling lanes are nice but the seating is too crammed together and the shoes were soooo old and falling apart. The arcades were a disaster!! Had no idea how much the games cost beforehand, appearantly was leaving credits on the games we were playing cause wasn't aware we had purchased more than one game. Was suppose to be earning tickets, however $20 of point play ,only earned us 6 "tickets"!!!!!! But it doesn't actually spit out tickets so had no idea if we winning tickets or not. 6 points whas enoug
Many arcade games, bowling, dining, snack bar, regular bar. It's a venue for private parties & company events. I hosted a 21st birthday party there. Today was family day by my daughter's employer.
I know this isn't a good spot. But, the food was so bad I couldn't even force it down. Games and drinks should be the only things allowed to be sold here. The food was an abomination to anything edible. I was so disappointed. I've wanted to come here for so long. But, it did not live up to the hype for me as an adult. My kids didn't have the worst time, but weren't impressed as well. To earn their own. But this is my experience.
There's something for everyone! Staff is very attentive and pleasant. Our family had a blast for hours!
We came for the first time for a birthday party and absolutely loved it. It is a little bit far for us, but we will travel up there often my children loved the laser tag.
I know kids are hard on the machines but it's pretty disappointing to them when they scan to play and then find out they're broken. Hopefully a good technician can get this stuff repaired.
We had a birthday party there for my 14 year old grandson looked like all the boys had a Great time.
Good place for kids, everyone had fun. There were arcade games, bowling and laser tag. A couple of the arcade items were damaged, most of them were fine though. I hated the restaurant, mil thought it was good, i guess it depends on the personal taste.. next time I'd just get the pizza, bc the sandwich and the fries tasted all the same (old fat)... didn't ask me if I wanted sugar on the sweet potato fries .. so they were very salty with sugar on top, inedible...but that's my personal opinion
Nice atmosphere and our server, Kira, was top-notch! Several great drinks on the speakeasy menu, too!
Excellent for kids parties. Price vs. value is strong their "hostess" was very good at running the show. This place is a must for kids parties!
Came here with a group and we had a blast! The pizza was excellent as well.
Bryan our server was amazing! Super friendly, and helpful. When my order wasn't to par he corrected it right away and always had a smile on his face. Even boxed my waffle fries to take home and made me and my family feel welcomed and we had a great early Father?s Day celebration The establishment was clean and it wasn't too crowded on a Friday night. 100% recommend this place over D&B. Prices are reasonable and food was excellent.
Great place! Surprisingly decent prices and good food! Loved the VR and laser tag! We will be going back!
This was the biggest joke, honestly. We had a double date set up to eat dinner and then go play games afterwards. Our friends meal was good, but my burger was over cooked and sweet potato fries were so hard I couldn't eat them. I'm not too picky so I just kept my stuff. My boyfriend had bought the Korean BBQ Mac and cheese and most of the BBQ pieces were so over cooked and burnt that they looked like charcoal. I finally said something about that and the waitress made it seem like that is the way that i
My boys had fun. The prices were good. However the game points are high in my opinion compared to D&B. The game section is kind is cramp-ish. I don't see myself going back but it's worth a visit if you never been. You may love it. Just not for me.
We went to edison on 10/12 for our yearly girls night. Food was amazing. All 4 of us had separate checks. I found the next morning that I had been charged for 2 of the meals even though everyone paid separately. I made sure that my friend did not get charged too and she didnt thankfully. She signed a receipt slip so to say the least we were both confused. Arcade was subpar this time. About 45% of the games were either out of order or were taking your credits and not letting you play. We did thankfully get a
The kids love this place. Management allowed us to bring in a birthday cake, as long as we kept it in the restaurant area. The food is a little pricey, but the portions were huge. 2 people ordered wraps that were so big they couldn't finish them. They have 12 lanes of bowling, laser tag, and arcade games. Check the website fir special deals on surge cards and dining.
Had our staff holiday family night here. Our 9 year old loved it. Great game options and food choices.
Good times food was good but that pasta was way too spicy. I had to send it back. They were nice about everything though. We'll be back soon
I got a hamburger my Grandson a cb. I got extremely sick they tried getting off the cheese. Ended up in hospital for 14 hours. I'll never go there again terrible service. Food Sunkist I'm lactose intolerant. I'll never go there again all about Dave and busters for us now. No one will answer phone. Inbox full. Don't let your kids go here
Fun place to take the family for games and bowling, but wasn't too impressed with food and beverages.
Our dinner plans for visiting family fell apart, and we had to find a kid-friendly alternative. With the arcade, Lazar Tag, and bowling, there was no shortage of entertainment. On Monday night, the full service restaurant is not avaliable, but the family special perfectly met our needs. It includes a large two topping pizza, toasted ravs, wings, four drinks, and four $10 arcade tickets for $54.95. Two of those fed eight people with leftovers and provided plenty of entertainment time for the kids. One of
Half of the games were not operating properly. Too much space left available for a buffet area that was hardly used. Food was hot but bland. Drinks were flat, but server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. Some of the things on the menu were not an option. Hostess was kind and informative. Hostess saved somethings we accidently left at the table so that was sweet. Overall, wouldn't go back for arcade or food. May return for bowling and drinks.
Great place to have fun. Bowling, arcades, laser tag, bar, concessions, and food.
I go there with my grand children. It's AWESOME!....I love spending time with them and they ALL have a blast!
Excellent menu items and plenty of fun for kids of all ages.
Clean Environment Most games are in working condition Bowling lanes are hard to obtain
Had a good time. Food was decent. Good gaming selection. We didn't bowl or play laser tag because of wait time. There were al of parties going on, so wait were to be expected. Staff handled the load pretty good. Only complaint is, I think it would be better having one more person working ticket counter for prizes.
I went too play laser tag with my friends last night and the girl working, I think her name was Maddie Hylla, was so kind and professional. Her service made the experience infinitely better and whatever you're paying her it's not enough! Thanks Maddie!
Great family atmosphere with staff who are responsive, friendly, and willing to accommodate you.
This place is absolutely the worst. The bowling lanes are terrible and warped (didn't even get to finish the game), the arcade is a joke (you can't cash in the tickets you win unless you pay extra for a different kind of card, which won't let you play most of the games), the staff wasn't great, the front desk guy was a huge jerk, the food was subpar, and they block internet access, wanting you to use their free wifi (the only cost is giving them all of your information so they can blast you with text messag
Staff is great!!! It's so much fun for kids and adults. Food is good.
We had three hours of laser tag, bowling and arcade games( no tickets you must buy a different card )but we had so much fun and save so much money (compared to chuck E cheese you get three hours nonstop but without tickets:)
Great deals. Best deal for your money. Workers for the arcade were super nice and helpful.
Had fun with the grandkids. Food was delicious and waitstaff pleasant.
We had an office party there. The food was very good. Bowling and laser tag was provided by our owner.
We visited on August 16th, 2024. I wear a size 10 1/2. I understand this is a popular size, but I tried three different pair of their bowling shoes, and they were all extremely worn, and extremely disgusting! I even came home with some kind of respiratory infection! Probably from touching those disgusting shoes! Unless I get a wild hair and decide to go out and purchase my own bowling shoes, we won't be going back to Edison's
Great food and the kids had a blast
We were there for a birthday party and had a blast. Lots to do: eat, drink, bowl, arcade, watch the game. Family friendly.
Great place... Our party assistant Faith, was awesome and super helpful. Will definately visit again.
Girls trip, we had a wonderful lunch and enjoyed playing games. Met a couple friends and had a wonderful time.
Loved it.....The Edision venue was the perfect place! my 2nd concert for Summer 2023
Always good for family fun ages young to not as young. Food is good. Service was great. A few food options were unavailable and they figured something out and provided a portion for free.
Good value for cost. We enjoyed that certain games in the arcade area unlimited play for a specified time period. The ticket exchange for prizes could use another hand, but overall good spot.
Went there just for something to do. The place was packed. All the kids, teens, and even the adults seemed to be having a great time. We decided to go ahead and get a bite to eat. We really didn't want a lot because we planned on eating latter. We got a pulled pork nacho to share. It was delicious. Unfortunately we were stuffed when we left. I would gladly recommend this place for any age.
Great birthday party for our daughter. An hour of bowling, unlimited arcade and laser tag for her and her friends. The party conductor was attentive. Cheese pizza was OK but lacked flavor. Birthday shirt doesn't come in XL, so we'll give it away. Great atmosphere, decent arcade.
Great place to go for bowling, laser tag, and arcade. The arcade is mostly oriented for kids. Most of the food was excellent, but pizza was less than desirable. It was undercooked and packed toppings. The staff were amazingly good. All of them I dealt with were happy to be there and eager to assist. I will definitely go back. If the pizza was good, this is 5 stars.
Fun place... but, not as nice as ladt time we went... seems to have lost some luster, over the last couple years. Still fun!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
