East Providence Lanes

Went there today with two friends, staff was so nice and friendly! I didn't get any names but the first man saw there was an issue with the pins setting back up and came to us before we even left the lane and helped us! So attentive which I appreciated a lot! The second man who assisted us with picking prizes made the experience so fun! Both were so kind and funny, can't wait to come back!

Good sized bowling alley. Plenty of Lanes. They don't do reservations and can get busy. Cosmic bowling available too. Shoe rentals and bumpers available. Ontop of the Lanes they also have a small arcade for kids with prizes, food area, pool tables and a bar with alcohol. Honestly it's a good time and anyone can have a good time here. I took my 4 and 6 year old to bowl. What a great place. It might be ten pin, but my 4 year old loved it and has ramp for kids. The best thing is that I was able to play with them, they used bumpers and it switches for me when my turn. We had a blast

While I did not bowl here, I was amazed how huge this place was! 60 lanes, all in a row. I visited the Pro Shop to purchase a ball. I even walked out with a pair of clearance shoes at a great price.

Stopped in for an after work get together, showed up with a larger group and they were quick to accomodate us!

Apparently this place needs to hire more people or get rid of the individual who works at the bar/food stand because my brother simply asked for a beer and she really said "no I'm to busy over here to be doing anything at the bar" when there was literally only 2 people she was helping with food. Great place to bowl, but the most amazing thing is the Pro Shop!!!! I have purchased 2 bowling balls so far here and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. They took time to listen to my needs and make some great recomendations. Nate in particular has gone out of his way to help me special order a ball in a certain weight and have it customized to my needs. If you need ANY bowling accessories they have it all and can help you!

We took our young kids bowling and were told that they didn't have any lanes with bumpers available, ok we can manage. We had to get shoes and we were told we had 5 minutes to get shoes, find our lane and get our games set up with the computer. Honestly, with younger kids that makes everything feel super rushed. Enjoyed our time. Bought a Groupon for $49 and the five of us had a lot of fun. Food was awesome and the beers were cold. Will definitely be back. I appreciated seeing the gentleman cleaning so thoroughly. Social distancing was being practiced and masks were worn appropriately.

Our birthday party was flawless, thanks to Abby! We were so fortunate to have Abby as our party host because she held it down the entire time! Haven't been here in a long time. It's all state of the art game scoring and control. The computer for the lane is very easy to operate as it's all menu based, and touchscreen. I didn't actually bowl since I have an arm injury. I can't really tell you what the lane is like, as in little oil or too much oil. My son and granddaughter bowled and had a great time. They put black lighting on the lanes for glow effects on a Friday night. The side bumpers for the little ones know when it's their turn and automatic

Reasonable rates for the lanes. They have a bar and food. There is a great video game area for when your bowling arm needs a break. The lanes are well maintained and the lane balls have a large assortment of clearly marked weights and hole sizes. I was also very impressed with how clean the ladies room was. I tell ya, sometimes those can get real nasty so it's nice they are looking out for us girls ??

This place is a lot of fun! Its $22 for a lane for 1 hour which accommodates up to 6 people. They have a little mini arcade with toys suitable for younger children..or perhaps immature adults such as myself. Good time overall and I went with teenagers! :0)

Went in for a couple beers and a game of pool to pass the time with a friend and was told they were open by someone that worked there that was at the entrance. Went in lights were off bar closed people walking around doing what only God knows. 1 guy working on a machine. Was there maybe 10 minutes and after being totally ignored by staff we walked out. Great place just don't like how bowlers can be allowed to not wear a mask on their lane while COVID goes around. Great food, cool bar staff most the time, love the food bar manager.... Just I feel like their should be different precautions towards the Coronavirus and social distancing with facial coverings being kept on properly and over the nose.

Very nice place have a good time on a Sunday. Appreciate how they keep it very clean. Saw an employee constantly wiping tables etc. The staff was very nice and friendly. Great place for family fun.

Always an awesome time and the management does a great job everytime. Food is what you would expect and reasonable, drinks are made well and its overall very clean. Love playing pool here on laid back date nights.

Lanes are well kept and clean establishment. However, both our lane and the lane next to us had major scoring issues and kept shutting off. Spent at least 15 minutes of our 2 hours fixing scores.

Went there to play pool one late Sat night. Tables were nice but it was so bit pricey. Checked the price of bowling and found that pricey as well. Overall the place is really nice but if your on a budget there are other places with a better value.

Great place for bowling, glad it's still around!

A year ago I gave 5 stars, today is a 1. Kids at the front desk have personalities of cardboard. Adults working the "Snack Shack" were arguing over whether they gave me my pizza. Which they didn't. I had to wait even longer for them to cook one and when I went back for it, the guy acted like he had no idea he told me to come back to get it and had to wait again.

I give this place five stars because I love bowling! And it seems they're bowling alleys have been closing over the years. It's gotten quite expensive but it's still a great time. I don't recommend the food lol nor a glass of wine there lol but all in all it's fun. And they do birthday parties!

This is a great place to go for the entire family! There is a variety of things for everybody to do from Bowling to video games to play in pool. There is a little something for everybody. A classic family-friendly menu and drinks for the grown up top off this up-to-date yet nostalgic bowling alley. An excellent bowling alley! One of the best I've seen in a long time - with ambient lighting and neon/black lights as well depending on the time of day. The lanes also feature video screens for music videos when music is being played through the building. There are options for food and drink, including vending machines as well. Pricing is fairly decent given the area and it's a rather popular place.

Lil expensive, and pricey drinks

Went on a Saturday night at about 1730. Paid for two hours. About 30 minutes of that 2 hours was waiting for the lane to be fixed over and over again after getting stuck 5 times. 2 of the 5 times the pin count was off so we would roll it down the gutter and still get a score of 7. Tried getting a refund for the hour we didnt even get to play or time added back on but was told by the cashier "we dont give refunds" then the manager said it would be fixed and still wasted 10-15 minutes on the final 2 times wit

It's an OK place. Just a little disappointed that they couldn't even spare some plastic fork/spoon knowing they had a little dining area they're supposed to have those in stock right?!

The service absolutely sucks. Got ignored at the bar and the window for said bar was slow. I ordered a cheese pizza, fries and a large Pepsi and it took them over 40 minutes to get it to me after being told it would only take 15. The lanes are good but I'd recommend pregaming before you get here. Not happy at all.

Much fun. Be aware that they have to get the beer and food for you because of covid. But it's 6 people per lane so the fun is still there, and no mask need to be worn as long as you are at the lanes.

Great experience. Full bar and snack options make this a go-to spot. Not a dark, "nightclub-esque" bowling experience... so it's a perfect place for a work event.

Everyone here is always very friendly and helpful. As a same sex couple, we've actually felt very uncomfortable in other bowling alleys (who would have thought...), however, East Providence Lanes still gives you that traditional bowling alley feel with a great sense of customer service. Also, check out their arcade; it's not huge but they have a great selection of games and it's just a fun addition to your low key night out.

Lanes are in great condition to Bowl on. Snack bar has a large menu. Lounge is quiet and comfortable. Large area for kids to play games, win tickets and exchange them for gifts. I highly recommend this place.

ACEC has hosted the last two bowling events here and the venue does well. Pretty much your typical bowling alley. Not the easiest to get to if you don't live in the area.

They have a special Sunday through Thursday that starts at 7 pm, bowl for 3 hours. The price is about 13.00 a person. If you go on a Monday, they have a special called Monday Madness. For 13.00, bowl the whole night, and you also get a free burger and fries.

Nice bowling alley. Good for families, friends etc. Can get very busy on league nights. They only offer large balls as opposed to duck-pin (small balls), be aware if you have really young bowlers. The accommodation they make for younger bowlers is lighter weight balls, bumpers and a ramp though. Overall, it's a good place to go. Bowling was 20/hr, pool(or billiards) was 14/hr. It's a fun place to go with a big group, but the alleys do occasionally hiccup - usually in the beginning. However, the service there is quick when it comes to fixing that sort of thing!

EP lanes is great. It is a Rhode Island Institution located off Newport Ave near the old Stop and Shop plaza and $2 movie theater. I have always had a great time there. It is clean and the staff are friendly. Pricing and specials are very good. They are open late every night of the week and all you can bowl specials start Sun-thurs after 7pm. 1 star because zero is not an option. I guess it deserves the one star for cool layout in a wide variety of Entertainment and activities, bowling is terrible though! It takes 22 seconds to set up the pins after each ball, count that in your head and you realize just how long that is, not to mention there's not a single ball in that place with finger holes large enough for an adult

Great for bowling. The employees are miserable and can not be bothered to do their job. There is no personality there at all from the snack bar to the prize counter. Really sad because it would be so much more enjoyable if you didn't have to twist someone's arm to do what they get paid for.

I only go there as a spectator my family and friends bowl there. I have no complaints drinks and food available.

The personnel here is rude and inattentive. I had to go to the desk more than 3 times to get an issue fixed and every time I was told it was something I was doing (like I could freeze the pin system). Save your money, go some place else.
