Great food, and great games. It really reminds me of the classic arcades of the 80's and 90's. I could spend all day here. There is something really satisfying about watching your kids duke it out on mortal combat. The pinball is awesome, and there are even a few console styled games at the bar. Service is OK, there was only one bartender, and he was very busy. He did, however, do a good job.
Love this place! Great blast from the past. Has most of my favorites and most games are in good order, but there are a few that need attention. But it only costs $7 for unlimited gameplay! They have an extensive list of draft beers and ciders. I had a Cherry and a Peach cider and both were great. We ordered a small meal for snack - tenders and fries which were good and came out really fast. Overall a great time!
Pretty cool place! We enjoyed the evening playing games and a few beverages! The games were great, but there were several games that didn't work or required credits! Kinda disappointing! The bar is huge, and the employees are friendly! Very inviting business! After 8 pm, minors have to leave the premises!
This is a really tough one for me because although my kids absolutely loved going there, the food was awful and the service was just as bad. Now don't get me wrong, it's a sports bar so it's going to be sports bar type of food and I don't expect a five-star restaurant. But the pretzel was awful and the dip for our other appetizer tasted like cardboard. I expect a little bit better than that, even at a bar. And the service... our waitress was on her phone the majority of the time. I don't mind people checkin
Draftcade is an excellent spot for a fun night out! One of the best features is the affordability?playing all the arcade games won't break the bank. Even on a Saturday night, it's pleasantly uncrowded, so you can enjoy your favorite games without long waits. The extensive selection of beers and drinks adds to the experience, making it easy to find something you'll love. Highly recommended for a laid-back evening with friends!
Service was not good. At all. My friend and I sat at the bar with empty glasses for 20+ mins before being able to order food. I was charged $25 for two beers (menu price said $4.50)??? By that point I was just ready to leave, but hopefully this saves you from wasting your time and money here. Some fun retro games but not much room to set drinks or walk around others.
I have traveled the USA to all 50 states playing Joust to 9999999. Of all the locations I've played this is one of the cleanest. The machine are always clean and in working order. LON McDonald US National Video Game Team Member Inductee@International Video Game Hall of Fame
Went to Draftcade for my sister's Birthday 12/15/22. The food was really good and everyone had fun playing the video games. We started out with Shannon as our server and she was amazing. It just so happens my sister's name is Shannon. She was done for the night and Josh took over and he was cool too. We will definitely be back.
Have a draft and few games on the memorable games Draftcade has collected. Or a bite and a game, we had some satisfying chicken wings and potato fries. Great place to visit and enjoy. A few of the many games they have.
I enjoyed the drink selection, at least 5 ciders! $7 for unlimited play is a great deal but...several of the game machines were broken. For example, 2 of the pinball machines had flippers that were stuck. And the skee ball (my favorite) was duct taped on one side, which did affect ball rolling performance. The other side was smooth but didn't record your points. Between the two lanes, there were only 3 balls. Not sure if repairs are possible on machines as old as they are but it was disappointing.
Went walking around Zona Rosa and ran across this place. I am a huge video game nerd so a place that has old school video games and alcohol was something I needed to check out. They have a huge selection of old school video games which are playable with a $7 bracelet which gets you unlimited games. We took a seat and checked out the menu. There is a great variety of food options and their drink specials are all video game themed names. I ordered the Porky's Revenge sandwich which is a pulled pork with
While a fun and relatively cheap date night, the service is always lacking here. The last time we came in at 7:30p on a Saturday night and sat at the bar. Both bartenders were on their phone/talking to the same patron the entire time we sat there. We waited about 10 minutes and were never even acknowledged, so we left.
Most of my review is based on the service and food because we didn't end up playing many games. This was for no other reason than just busy talking to people as we were there for a birthday party. However, I think the $7 bracelet on a Saturday night for unlimited game play is very reasonable. Our server was terrible. =( Very forgetful and not attentive when we could clearly see him standing around, not very busy. The food was good but not great. This is what we ordered: {Appetizer} Smoked Jumbo Wings - sur
We go here all the time. They have a great selection of vintage and retro games, pinball, skeeball, and recently they added an air hockey table. They even have some fairly rare titles and a few black-and-white screen games. Lots of beers on tap and a friendly staff. Great for family entertainment or a night out with friends.
Draftcade is awesome! ????? We took my granddaughter for her 16th birthday and we had a wonderful time. So much fun!! Plenty of arcade games, plus pinball machines, air hockey and skee-ball. We played Centipede, Mortal Combat, Mario Brothers, Donkey Kong ... They have all the classics! We had a blast playing skee-ball and pinball. My son and granddaughter played air hockey for quite awhile. We ordered their french fries and fried pickles. The fries were delicious, but the pickles fell short (too salty and
I hoped my family and I would have a great time here and enjoy some food but unfortunately we were overlooked. My husband stood at the bar waiting to be helped and nothing. So we left and I will not be returning to try again.
Food was alright, service left a lot to be desired. One of the meals was cold when we finally got it. Lacking staff and half the games don't actually function. Trust me, go somewhere else.
This was fun. One time payment for all the games. Drink menu was cute. lt had video game names for the drinks. I would recommend. And I would go again.
Great concept and fun retro arcade games. Lot of beer selections and it was nice and cold. Burger was good and hand cut fries were nice and salty.
Very disappointing you guys have the options to submit problems or request online and I'm not able to do so was there February 15th, around six or seven something close the tab on two wristbands then re-open a new tab to buy a drink by the name pinky the ghost and was charged $20 for a nine dollar drink been calling all night to try to get this resolved, and no one will answer the phone when they don't even open for the next three days this is very unprofessional. I don't care if it takes two weeks a month.
Was all set to have food and drinks here with friends only to find out they closed the kitchen at 6:45pm. Walk out and had a better time elsewhere.
Dropped in on a Saturday night about 745pm, after reading online that it was 21 years old and over after 8pm. we thought it'd be a fun date night. WRONG. There were kids screaming, running around and playing hide n seek like it was Chucky cheese, while the parents pounded beers at the bar. It was every bit of 930pm before all kids were gone. I don't dislike kids, but we were expecting an adult atmosphere. And as for the $7 all you can play wrist bands- literally 10 games had issues or were broken. Some game
We really had a good time. Flights are the way to go my fav was ace pear, and the black Berry eastciders . Habanaro blueberry wings, and loaded fries. Yum fried mushrooms and artichoke dip was also part of our group order.
Unlimited play for 7 bucks... Can't beat that. Good food and clean ambient. Good for some drinks let's the big and small kids have a good time. I love the Nintendo 64 on the table you eat. amazing.
All you can play for $7! My family went over the summer and it was so fun. Draftcade has nostalgic games such as pin ball, pac man, and other classics. I loved playing Wreck It Ralph. We enjoyed all the arcade games. My brothers and I spent half an hour trying to beat each other?s scores shooting hoops & throwing footballs. When we went the place was busy but there were plenty of games to keep us busy!
My son celebrated his 12th birthday today with his school friends. They love playing arcade games so this was a great place. Fun times. ??????????? We paid $7 wristband to play the arcade games, great deal.
Great bar/arcade. They have a few pinball tables in addition to video games. The various cabinets have somewhat worn controls in need of some repair, but they're still playable. Friendly staff and it's just a one time fee for Freeplay games.
I don't drink, but 7 bucks for unlimited arcade play is hard to beat. I've been here several times and the atmosphere is excellent. My friend and I love the old track and field game (still trying to get by the high jump level). The wife and I love the basketball game. If I had one constructive criticism, it would be to get regular sized ski-ball games. The ones at Draftcade are narrow and don't work well for bank shots on the 10k holes.
Such a fun atmosphere! All you can play games for $7 per person. Food is decent. Service is excellent! Big variety of draft beer to choose from.
Cool joint. Unlimited game play for $7 a person!! We had a blast! Too many machines weren't in working order, hence the 4 stars. But you cant beat it for the money. Had a great time! Full bar and food available, too.
Flight landed, checked into hotel, looked up nearby places... pinball + craftbeer... made plans to have hotel shuttle drop me off over 1 hour before closing to relax before bed. Then find out doors locked, closed, well before last call with no sign on the door. The bartender was even chatting to a patron drinking a beer. Advertised hours are important and many people go out of their way to go to an establishment. When they get screwed like this its not cool and then they have to try to find another place
So much fun!!!!!! The drinks were absolutely delicious and only $7 for unlimited game play. All the games worked and even have signs that tell a little about the classic arcade game and the year it came out. We will definitely go back. Pictured below is the Princess Peach which was amazing!
Service is terrible if you want to sit and eat. Staffs very lack luster and doesn't seem to care to do anything but serve basic drinks from behind the bar when they're not just standing there talking to each other.
A hidden gem for a night with friends or a date night. There weren't a lot of people even with the live music outside. Very affordable. Chill vibe and cool staff.
What happened to the size of the shrooms appetizer? Very small. I'm not going to order food and drink in the future. Very disappointed.
Only two Skeeball machines, okay selection of Pinball (Transformers is great fun), and good beer. Good luck finding a game technician if something goes wrong. Only 25 cents per game though. Bar appetizers are okay too. Great addition to Zona Rosa though, but I like UpDown better!
As a parent of a 12-year-old son with autism, finding a venue that caters to his needs while providing a fun and inclusive environment can be challenging. Fortunately, Draftcade has exceeded our expectations not once, but twice, as we've hosted birthday parties there. With approximately 30 people in attendance each time, the service was nothing short of amazing. The staff at Draftcade deserves special commendation for their exceptional accommodation of my son and their consistently kind demeanor. Their und
Absolutely fantastic experience, have a socially mixed family but we all found something to enjoy here! Great variety of drinks as well, I loved being able to try some new things I can't find in my own town.
Play classic arcade games, all you want, for 6 dollars. Except pinball is a quarter a game. What is not to love. The fact that the prices are fair, the beer is good, the bar food is good, and the atmosphere is lively. This is my dream bar if I ever owned one.
Fun place to enjoy some nostalgia! My teenage son and I enjoyed an afternoon together playing games I grew up with. I even got to introduce him to some pinball! $7 each got us free play on all the games we could handle. Fun atmosphere. Fun times. Great memories!
Good food and great service! If it would've been a higher rating, but half the pinball machines were not working and there were several games that were not working or would glitch out a few minutes into playing. Service the machines, and this would be a 5 star rating.
Only silly bells and whistles in this place are coming from the arcade cabinets. Unbelievably good food for a themed bar, all with classic arcade themed names. If you like to loosen up before some pinball their taps are vast and varied with cleverly named, and well poured, cocktails. A must if you're in the KC area.
Went on a Sunday afternoon with my kids & had a blast! $7 gets you a wristband where you can play their 70+ arcade games with no additional fees. They also have 60+ beers on tap, karaoke Wed night & a comedy club. In addition, you can eat there with a few selections of typical best sellers like quesadillas, Burger, sandwiches, or choose from fried twinkies or mushrooms as a snack. My kids want to go back which is a plus for me.
Great deal on the games. $7 for all you can play. I also liked the beer selection but the place looked like it had not been cleaned all day. Old drinks laying around, the bathrooms were disgusting. They had paper towels, toilet paper and some kind of liquid all over the floor. TP was placed in the stalls but not on the TP holder. Also on the way to the bathroom someone had dropped a drink and there was liquid and large chunks of glass on the floor. I told the bartender before entering the bathroom and when
I was really looking for a fun date night with my partner and when we walked in, we were not greeted, we walked our way inside looking for a place to sit at the bar. We sat down and no one acknowledged us so we got up and started looking at their machines. Some of the machines were not in service, they looked dirty and dusty. I just didn't feel that welcoming vibe overall so we ended up going to Main Event and had a blast with unlimited bowling, laser tag and billiards for just about $25 per person.
I liked the place. Some of the games didn't work but we still enjoyed the environment. We did not get a chance to try the food. There was only 1 bar tender managing at least 20 people. She was overwhelmed. I would visit again.
Really good selections of beers. Great selections of arcade games which work, ?? ??
Really enjoyed the atmosphere of this arcade bar and the themed menu. Driving into the mall I would not have expected such a geek haven tucked away!
Paid for the arcade and the hostess gave me a menu. Stood at a table and tried to flag the one waitress down multiple times. Waited about 5 minutes and left. Don't recommend if you actually want to eat or dink a beer. I should add as I walked out the Waitress was gossiping with the hostess and they didn't even acknowledge me as I left. I even tried to wave (really wanting to support a local business) but they were too concerned with their conversation.
We had a real fun time. It was really cool to play some of the old games I'd play as a kid. Spent a lot of time playing Firepower pinball machine. Had the cheese fries and fried mushrooms, they both were delicious
Food and drinks are always good. My 40th birthday party was a blast.
This place was okay. We may be spoiled by the Cidercade in Dallas, but we thought this place was going to be a lot bigger. Lots of kids and it was over crowded. A good amount of machines were broken. I think if it was less busy, it would be fun but overall for $7 it is a good place. We did not drink or get food so unsure about that portion. I wish they had a mixture of modern and older games so the younger kiddo in our group could have enjoyed it more.
Best time. Super cheap per person to play the arcade games.
Had a blast with my 13yo here. They had a lot of my favorite games!
I threw a surprise 40th birthday party for my husband at Draftcade and everyone had an amazing time! The staff was great - they handled our party of 50 (half adults, half kids) with grace and speed. The venue itself is fantastic, and you can't beat $7 to play all you want on the games! The food was tasty, and considering the size of our party, it was fast. We are so thankful for the staff for having us and making it such a wonderful experience!
Was very excited too come here for the first time so we Went Friday evening, they were not busy yet so that was a plus when we walked in. We sat down at the bar the bartender walked over asked if we knew what we wanted, we didn't so. Gave us menus. We continued too sit there for over 10 minutes while both bartenders were talking too someone and I completely ignored us, more customers walked in and they got helped right away, while we were still ignored. We finally decided too just walk out. Horrible custom
I can't speak for the food portion of this place but the arcade part is underwhelming. I don't understand where all the positive reviews are coming from. The moment I walked in it was much smaller than I was anticipating for 60 Arcade games. Everything is really cramped in an uncomfortable way. A portion of the games didn't work. I could only get two of the Pinball games to work. Some of the old arcade machines wouldn't start. Sure there were a lot of classics but the selection of games wasn't impressive ei
The unlimited pass for $7 is a steal for the selection you get. Food is great. The specialty drinks tasted too sweet/syrupy. That would be the only down side to my review. Service was fantastic, arcade games were good.
Such a great experience. Food came out quick considering how busy they were & the portions definitely justified the price. We left very full and very happy with the quality of the food. Jordan was our waitress & she was very friendly & kept the refills coming without us having to ask. Lots of TVs so you're able to catch the game and a couple dozen arcade games & pinball.
We ordered food and 5 beers, also bought a wrist band to play games. My food came out and the fries were burnt and cold. Then when we got our tab we were charged $4.50 for our beers when the menu clearly said $4. I know you're thinking it's only $1.50 difference but the point is you didn't honor what YOUR MENU STATED... the waitress tried to say that was added tax, then proceeds to say that the beer is in fact more than what the menu says, and tells me I'll have my boss fix that but still over charges me f
Great place to play games. Terrible place to find a table to eat at. Tons of tables reserved...one was reserved for 30 people...guess what- only 14 people ever showed up at that table...all adults. Another table...had one drink on it...and no one was,at that table for 3 hours and the person at the front would not let us sit there...no help whatsoever. So never plan anything here unless you have "reserved" table. We had to take our bday party for our 14 year old to another restaurant. We did come back
It's such a beautiful area we all saw a Christmas tree and lights. It's very nice. Enjoy. Joy to the world has come.
Games are $7 for unlimited play, that was great! Food wasn't so good. Fried chicken sandwich was over cooked, dry - just bland. Fries were soggy and grease filled. Hummus was nasty - tasted like refried beans. Plus, only served with 4 pita triangles. Buffalo chicken dip was good, not a lot of chicken in it and served with cold tortilla chips that seemed old. They have a large drink list, which was nice. Overall the food wasn't good enough for the price. Might return for the old school games.
My 2 boys and I had a blast. For 7$ unlimited plays all day you can't beat it. Sure some games are glitchy. It's 7$. I will be going back. No complaints here.
I've lived out this way for 6 years & never knew about this place. What a great deal to pay $7 & play allday video games & skeeball & basketball. They have tv's around the bar w sports on for the parents & after 8pm it's 21 & over only til 1am. The food was amazing. We had chicken quesdilla, shredded pork loaded nachos, boneless wings, Caesar salad, boneless hot wings & chicken fingers, e.thing was great. Exceeded my expectations for sure!! A definite must do again.
The place was nice. Games were fun, and unlimited play is only $7. The staff were sometimes hard to get a hold of, but we were there in the afternoon, so they may have just been short staffed. Wish they had more cup holders on games, and more space as I accidently stepped back into people a few times.
Grossest cocktails I've ever had. When I told the bartender I couldn't drink the margarita he just laughed and nodded like he knew it was bad. Plus, there aren't a lot of games and the games just collect dust while hiding the broken bowling allies.
Cool place. Love the unlimited play concept and the nostalgic vibes everywhere!
We had a good time the drinks are okay! Not great just okay! The the only thing I didn't like is because Improv was closed then draftcade dont have a kitchen! How are you supposed to drink and play games and not eat! So if you are like me need a hot wing with your beer check kitchen hours before you go!
I love arcades and really wanted to like this place, but several of the games were faulty (never got to play any of the functioning pinball machines as no one would give up their spot) and when I went to close out my tab, the bartender had already closed it out even though he asked if I wanted it closed or open and I said open. And I've never been to a place where bartenders get to choose their own tip unless you literally leave the establishment and forget to close out (we were there for an hour). He tippe
Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. As far as a barcade goes, its... okay. Decent selection of games, but they're all older. Everything was working in good order, except the Dance Dance Revolution machine, which while it worked, the volume was basically muted, so it made it pointless to try and play it. When our party asked about them turning it up, the staff said that it's independently owned and they don't have keys to turn it up. Otherwise, service was great at the bar, prices were as expected fo
Fun place! Nostalgic! Remember arcades back in the day? Feeding the machines with quarters all day! Here... one price, play pinball, and old video games for hours. Plus, you can eat and get a pop here, great for young and old.
Cool atmosphere with arcade games. We went on a Sunday just to meet a friend from out of town. Ordered beer, which was fine, decent selection. Ordered food, which took more than 30 minutes to come out (not sure of exact time) and had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp for quite a long time. The pickle was hot to the touch and the cheese had all melted out of the grilled cheese, and the fries were flaccid. The funnel cake fries were the same way. In the bartender's defense, there were other people work
Great place for drinks and entertainment ??I really enjoyed the music ?? station but some games were out of order.
We went to celebrate a birthday. The games were great. $7. for a wristband for all you can play is very reasonable. Drinks were good as well. But the entire group was disappointed with the food choices. We knew it was a bar and that they would probably have bar like food. We were not expecting a restaurant. However they need better choices. The food didn't even taste that great. The person who's birthday we were celebrating ordered the fried mac and cheese and said it was awful.
Brought 9 teenage boys for a 16th birthday. When I called to make sure it was possible, they reserved a table for us and let us bring in our own cake. The service was outstanding. Our server was great. Food was tasty. 95% of games were in working order and the boys had a great time. Can't ask for more than that.
First time here. The food was very good, pleasantly surprised! Drinks were excellent and well priced. Bartender was very attentive and friendly. The guys in our party enjoyed the pinball games..brought back lots of memories. We will be back!!
Fun place and good time. But online it says it closes at 1 am and everyone was out by midnight. Last call and lights on at 11 pm with 20 people inside. Please fix hours it's misleading
I greatly enjoyed this place! The drinks were good priced - and delicious and thr food was pretty good. In order to play unlimited wrist bands cost $7, which i think is a steal. The facility is clean, bathrooms are suitable, and the staff are always nice. For me, the only reason I wont give 5 stars is because some of the machines were down and I would like to see more variety in the games. I know some of the coolness is nostalgia factor, but I'm still nostalgic for Guitar Hero.
Had a great time here. Only $7.50 per person for unlimited play. Food and drinks were good as well. Also great place to watch the game.
The staff was great and the show was awesome couldn't really say anything bad about any of it. Had a great experience my wife really enjoyed seeing Maurice Bernard better known as Sonny on General Hospital and made for the perfect early anniversary present
Very cool place if you love old school video games. The food was good. The drink selection was awesome. The all around vibe of the place was great, my husband and I had a few of our friends get together for our birthdays and each one of us had a blast, even if we were losing super smash Bros on the Nintendo 64. It's got everything from pinball machines to a snes classic. Very cool place in all.
Only 2 of the 9 pinball machines worked, and all the hand sanitizer were empty..
I went up to Draftcade on Saturday with someone to play the new DDR machine, but the music was so low you couldn't even hear it, which is the point of a dancing game--*to dance on the arrows to the music*. I approached someone bussing tables in a black t-shirt that had "STAFF" stamped on the back (about 5'11', caucasian, shoulder-length hair, glasses) and asked him if he or another staff had the cabinet key to get in and turn it up a little so we could at least hear. Before he even spoke, I already knew he
Fun games and great food!
It would've been better if me and my mom could have gotten service. The young lady pranced around the bar, checking on everyone but us. So much so I didn't want to order anything and have to tip her . Her service sucked
My girlfriend and I had a blast here, staff was friendly and games were fun with it being a classic generation like super Mario and Q Bert and many others. Only spent 45$ for food and games and played till our hearts content. Definitely will be coming back (^v^)
Went on the grand opening night. Had a great time. Great throwback music (early 2000s) place was packed but still plenty of room to walk around with out bumping into anyone?. Beer is reasonablely priced. Great friendly staff. $6 play all you want, and pinball is 25? a game. Food is really good too. Had a blast.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
