Really fun game place with great prices! We had an absolute blast here on a rainy day in San Antonio. What a great way to have some fun over spring break. Highly recommend!!

Just went back... Grew up going to this place many many years ago. Was always a fun, generous token-operated arcade. Still is! I was curious if the games would be run down, broken or out of sync(think aiming for shooters) but everything was great! No ticket games for prizes but lots of claw and skill games that offer prizes from stuffies to electronics, etc. They are not overly tight on payout either. Won 3x in the first visit. $20 = 88 tokens and most games are 2-3 towns with the big, sit-in shooter ga

So much fun! The nostalgia is amazing. Getting to play all the classics and even some newer ish games. Did about $30 worth of tokens and lasted us well over an hour.

Love love diversions! I like to come when I can especially on the weekends!! I also get to visit when they host my daycare center for their field trips! The owners are so nice and welcoming! Thank you for having us!

This was our first time there and I will say it's the cleanest most Immaculate game place I've ever been to the owner and employees were there cleaning every single machine that everybody got off of and were vacuuming it was immaculate. If you're worried about germs in places like that this is the place to go.

I love bringing my boys here. Just a small arcade with a great old school arcade feel to it...and some of the old games as well. My boys love wasting their tokens on the prize machines!

An aging establishment that still seems to be going strong despite the changing of the times. Me and the family had a great time here and it brought back memories from when I would come here as a child. My son is obsessed with vintage games (mostly Pac-Man) so we took him here for his 9th birthday and he definitely enjoyed it. The staff were really great and helpful as well...looking forward to going back in the not too distant future.

We've been coming here for over 20 years and its well kept up, all games are working well, if anything doesn't work right, employees are very helpful to fix it or give your coins back on the spit. Not too big but not too small. Some older and newer games. Family of 4 Id say bring $60-$80 which is not bad at all. All around fun experience. Definitely recommend. Thanks Diversions!

This is one of the first places I came to for entertainment when I moved to SA in 2019. I still love the classic arcade feeling when I walk in; and the selections of games they have (some modern and some old school) are just right with the space that they have. Not too big of a location where you might loose a child, but large enough to keep it simple and safe. Service was friendly and easy to talk to.

A great old school arcade. It's small to medium size arcade and the tokens last a long time. Everything was clean and the vibe felts very welcoming. If you are looking for a retro arcade and somewhere your money will last this is the place. Recommend for adults and teenagers.

Classic 90s era arcade. This place shouldn't exist in 2025, but by some miracle, diversions game room has been operating out of this location for the past 25+ years. A great way to get out of the summer heat and enjoy a bit of classic retro era gaming

This is a fun way to spend an hour or two. They have a little variety of older games and newer games. We enjoyed playing a mix. They also have air hockey. We used cash to buy tokens but they have an ATM on site.

I miss all the other locations around. My go to location used to be off 410 and Fredericksburg across from the wonderland mall. I Especially miss playing terminator 2 arcade when i used to go, but i can't remember which location that was at lol. I wish there was still a prize wall too, I have a bunch of tickets still as well, Idk what to do with them lol.

This place is stuck in time. It's like a different realm. Prices are cheap and service is good. It could be cleaner, and they could offer more by way of refreshments and snacks. They're losing out on money. I love their late hours.

Definitely old school video arcade. There weren't that many different options to play but there were a lot of the token sucking claw machines! Will not be returning and my 10 year old grandson was not impressed

Diversions has been around for a long time. I spoke with the owner today when I went in, I learned at one time there were 8 locations at one time in San Antonio! I love this arcade because it still uses tokens! There are an array of games, from dance dance, to crane games, and multi arcade game machines with 100+ games selectable! Go have fun at the arcade with the whole family, there are no tickets games or prizes but it still has a wonderful air of nostalgia and fun for all ages.

I am so happy this place is still standing. I used to spend all my money in here back in the early 90s. They still lots of fun games.

Great place to spend some time with some vintage arcade games. The place is safe for adults who badly play video games, so don't worry little kids won't laugh at you for stinking. There is all types of games but the best is still always there, Galaga. The games take tokens. There is sufficient parking outside. The place looks great, maintained and clean.

Me and my children absolutely love this arcade was the very best one we have ever been to well absolutely go back also very nice people who work there.

I was impressed by Diversions! This is a very fun little arcade; my 10-year-old and I both had a great time. There is a good mix of retro and newer games to play, and they even have Guitar Hero! Finally, I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the entire place (down to the carpet) and the gentleman on duty diligently sanitized each game. Neat little hidden gem, we will be back.

Very cool place, it was my son's first experience in an arcade and he love it. It's an old fashioned arcade with many old games but that is exactly the point. The area is a bit rough so don't expect anything fancy. I didn't see anything that could make me feel uncomfortable or insecure but of course I went there during the day.

I'm from out of town, and my husband wanted to go to a retro gameroom. This is the place! The manager Gary is incredibly nice. He conversed with me about the 4th grade class I teach. He was so nice to my 2 boys. You could tell that he really loves his community and invests in our children. Coolest place we have been to on our whole vacation!

I just love this place. I take my grandchildren quite often. The owner I think is the owner always gives my grandkids extra tokens. He's so,We love going there.

This has been a favorite hang out with my kiddos for a very long time! I grew up in arcades and I this is one of the last old school ones in SA that doesn't serve alcohol which I love. The same owners and employees for a long time and have always been great to their patrons!

My son and I love this place and come often. It's clean and has enough games to keep the whole family happy. Won big today, Naruto and a Nintendo Switch. The owner is amazing and almost always there to ensure everyone is doing well.

Cool little game room to bring kids or even adults they have air hockey ,basketball and a bunch of claw machines. Arcade games and even saw guitar hero.

Always have a good time when I go here. I love that there's plenty of games here from my child hood. Such as house of the dead and time crisis. I'd love if yall got the house of the dead 2 & 3 machines in there though!

Took my son and nephew here for some fun. They played many of the video games and had a great time. Games were clean and in good condition, and all functioned as they should. They use tokens from the on-site exchange machines.

Flashback to the 80s??? Yes!! We had so much playing the arcade games. It's a very clean game room with all the old time favorite gun shooting games and of course Pac-Man. Great time with my kiddos

This is the quintessential arcade, it doesn't have the personality that arcades did in the 1980s but it's managed to hang on to the charm from the 90s while continuing to stay fairly up-to-date with offerings of new cabinets. The staff is always fantastic and I would recommend anyone who's looking for a little bit of nostalgia 4 wants to share part of their childhood with their kids come here. It is absolutely worth the time.

Great place to take your kids also alot of retro games and crane games as well with awesome prizes!!! Not bad in cost in playing games 2-4 tokens at most and you spend $20 for q00 tokens and there's a bonus if you spend $100 you get 600 tokens believe me it's worth it!!! The games were so good. Mi soul ascended to God as thy spiritually fist bumped my Grandma . It was thee mostest authentic experience thy ever had, after one game thy began to weep openly in front of the whole arcade.

I love this place. I wish there were more game rooms like it. Where have they all gone. I brought my son 4yrs old. We had a great time. Good times. This was such a cute place! The ambiance totally brought me back to the 90s! This arcade had all the classic games, well at least all the ones I could remember, I wasn't much of a gamer. My daughter and I had so much fun! The staff helped us quickly when we lost our tokens to a game by replacing them. The game room is clean and family friendly. This will be our weekend thing going forward.

"Game Room" is an accurate description. Fairly small place. It was an alright set up, but lacked the pizazz I was hoping for. Basic games that will entertain. Games don't give tickets and no prizes. Lots of games that allow you to win prizes though.

Dude I can't even begin to say how much I love Diversions. I used to go to the one off Military and Commercial all the time as a kid, and I've been coming back to this location year after year since. It still has the old school vibe, with plenty of great classics, 3 multi-cade units that each have around 50 games on them, a super rare Carn-Evil machine with the original Midway guns still operating on it, and plenty more, including my favorite, Marvel vs Capcom 2. I had a BLAST!!! Visited For the 1st time with my fiance a few days ago and they have every game you would want to play That will give you that nostalgic feeling of being a teenager again! Great spot for young and old. You have a variety of games - vintage/Pac-Man, crane/claw games with prizes, sport/Air hockey/basketball, and some newer games like Halo and Star Wars. Place is just the right size not to lose the kids and they can find you while your playing to ask for more money. The place was clean, staffed friendly folks, and much better option than some of the other arcade/restaurants to visit.

Always a good time at this place. They use tokens here instead of a preloaded card, which is a plus from me. There are games for every generation. Such an awesome place to unwind reasonable prices and good selection been going for over a decade I would say. They do allow outside food and drinks so no worries about over priced drinks and snacks just bring your own!!! Awesome customer service is the cherry on the top.

I recently visited Diversions Game Room and had a great time! Despite its small size, it offers a decent variety of games?probably around 40 in total. It was a fun way to kill a couple of hours, and the kids had a blast. The prices were standard for an arcade, and the place was clean. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for some quick, family-friendly entertainment.

We had so much fun here with the Family. Most games take 2 tokens ($1=4 tokens). You can definitely have fun with either $5 or $50. It is not expensive and such a blast.

Great place for games. I've been taking my little ones for years to this location. Wide variety of games and we play for hours. Plus it is always nice to win a prize in the machine.

Pretty cool place; not huge and filled with tons of games, but there's a good mix of classics (Tetris, Pac Man, Galaga, TMNT, Blitz) and newer games. There's quite a few of the enclosed games where you're sitting inside of a vehicle and there are surrounded sound speakers, if that's your jam. There are also 2 air hockey tables, a mini basketball game, 1st person shooters, and the crane games to try and snag prizes.

Hadn't been to Diversions since I was a kid. Finally made it out with the kiddos one weekend and OMG!!! THE NOSTALGIA!!!! We've been back every weekend since!!! The workers are friendly and very very ON TOP OF sanitizing and wiping after every game use. Masks aren't required, instead optional. They even gave us a free round of TMNT!!!!

My niece always has a great time playing all the games. She always looks forward to going there whenever we get a chance.

If you were looking for an old-school swanky little arcade room, then look no further than this place. They use old-school arcade coins instead of cash however they have some really great games, please keep in mind. The place is small and it can get pretty packed in there. But if you are a child of the 70s 80s and 90s and you're trying to show your kids what arcades were like look no further than this place.

My kids had a great time playing all the games. The employee who worked on 1/6/24 at night time was spectacular. He was very attentive and continually wiped down the games. It is very affordable. I will definitely be coming back.

Old school for sure, with a healthy variety of games modern and classic. A handful of prize machines, but this place is definitely geared more towards gameplay than trying to drain your tokens away. That's another thing, this place uses tokens! No nebulus credit amount, no cards you gotta charge then throw away later. $1 = 4 tokens, just like the old days.

We went to a birthday party there today and my kids had the best time. It was spotless, well cared for and well attended. All of the games were so well maintained and worked great. They have a great assortment of games suitable for kids of all ages.

Outdated redemption game prizes are from 2014. Redemption and prize game payout rates are set far too high to even be worth going for. Key Master payout play to payout percentage rate is ?rigged? way too high. Seriously. Those machines are hardly ?ready? to pay out a prize! Hope this helps.

Great overall value, $20 worth of tokens lasted around 2 hours. Excellent variety of games. I would avoid the icube and key master machines giving out prizes (ps5, apple watch, etc). Some people don't know those machines will not let anyone win until the machine has received a certain amount of tokens (money). Highly recommend this game room, though, for everyone, families, kids, adults.
