Enjoyed the fun and food here. We tried the chicken, bacon, ranch pizza, a pepperoni's pizza, and a cheese. Pretty good robust flavor with a soft floppy crust with a chewier handheld crust. They had about 8 or 10 beers on tap. Wish they had a few more but still not a bad selection between that and bottles. Decent prices. Our kids really enjoyed the variety of bounce houses and I liked that they had them all situated in an enclosed area where we could moderate them at a table just outside the bounce play ar
The website is not very good. I tried to book the alien escape room but it wouldn't let me so I had to email them to actually book it. On top of that the website said it was $18 but when we got there it was actually $18 per person, which was not specified anywhere on the website for that escape room. The lady at the counter also wasn't very polite but there was a manager or someone that was very nice and helped us. We ended up switching to the terminal escape room which was fun but there were multiple thing
I love arcades but as a kid and later as an adult i could rarely throw money away to play games that were too short to be any real fun. And prizes? Dont make me laugh. So back in November 2023 when my partner at the time wanted to go for some low key fun on his birthday I wasn't expecting much other than a smaller bank balance. But I was surprised to find I had a really enjoyable time. Dabbled with the different games but realized what i wanted were tickets and found the coin pusher games were both fun and
Great place to go with a group. The race cars and bumper cars are nice!
I would like to express my thoughts about this establishment following a recent visit. Having just relocated back to Kansas, I had previously enjoyed a wonderful experience here when Ryan was managing the store. I am uncertain if he is still with the team, but the service during that visit was exceptional. This time, however, my family and I encountered significant issues. We arrived to enjoy a meal and some drinks while shopping, but we waited at our table for 15 minutes without a greeting or any acknowled
Our visit to the district was greatly enhanced by Eric's enthusiastic and engaging approach. He provided an excellent explanation of everything, and his excitement was contagious, captivating both the children and adults in our group. His energy was a definite asset, and we truly appreciated the outstanding service he provided."
We dont know if the management has changed since we were there last or their system of doing things. We couldn't get my son a waiver for the go carts because hes a minor. The screen said to get a code from the from desk. The guy there said he dont have codes, to have one sent by email from the kiosk. It wouldn't go through so we didn't ride. My fianc? tried to order a burger from their menu... they only have a limited menu, and the website menu is incorrect.
I took my older kids and had a blast. The go carts were great but your hands will hurt from steering. The sports wall was kinda lacking but ax throwing was a hit. Just bring some gold bars to pay for it all!
The Go-Karts are super fun. Lots of the arcade games were broken or not working properly. Enjoyed the food and all the tv?s. I wouldn't make DE&PS a HAVE TO GO TO place, but if you're going to be in Salina for a day or 2, I'd definitely go check it out!
Love coming on Wednesday night with my family. However, this time I caught two girls vaping in the bathroom and when I brought it up with an employee possible the manager because he was in a Blue polo. He just gave me a blank stare and said Okay. He didn't seem to care which was disappointing because it's a family establishment.
The food was good, and the service was decent. However, half of the arcade games were "out of order," and the skating and Ax Throwing weren't available (no staff running them). We were there on a Saturday evening, so it was a shock that they didn't have everything available. On another side note, the facility could use some deep cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep. lots of chipped paint, torn carpet and other wear and tear.
This was one of the best things in Salina currently! My mom, sister and I went in early evening and it was pretty quiet when we entered the Escape room (which was fantastic) but when we exited, the place had started to fill up. The facilities were clean, well kept and lit appropriately for each activity around the open floor plan. We will definitely be returning and bringing friends!
Your adventure, your choice! Play games in the Arcade, cruise the Go-Kart track, scream in escape rooms, get shot with gellyballs, be dizzy fliping in the Spinzone or throw a few axes at a wall before throwing your arm out trying to pick up your 7-10 split mini bowling. Great place for fun!
This place has inconsistent management! First time visiting was great, price was right, wait times for go karts was fine, jelly ball was a blast, etc. However, this experience was absolutely horrible. Had to wait forever for drinks, pool table had a low battery and would not allows us to play games we paid for and no compensation. Go-karts was a joke, paid for 2 game per person for 5 people (each person paid individually $30.59/2 races). One employee told us no go-karts until 8:50pm so we bought tickets, a
We have a great time every time we are there. It's nice to have the pay area for all ages they added and adults can get a drink to boot. A side story that impressed me and prompted me to write this review. My daughter was playing alone a few games and some teenage girls came up and slyly stole her play card. We talked to them they wouldn't give it back and denied it. So the manager ran the tape back to prove they indeed stole her card. The girls ended up returning the card and trying to play it off as they
Plenty to do here! Pricing similar to other venues of the same in this area. Arcade is large with little kid games as well as adult and teenager games. Indoor go karts, axe throwing, miniature bowling alley, ect. Inflatables were a plus for the little ones.
the staff were beyond friendly, huge selection of games, food was great and the go carts were awesome. my kids loved it!
Purchasing go-kart rides and signing waivers is unorganized. You're in line to buy tickets, then get told to get out of line and sign a waiver, and then get back in line to buy tickets for real this time. It's chaos at the ticket counter. That being said, the kids love it. Very cool there are escape rooms, pickle ball courts, skating area, sports simulator. Plenty of stuff to do.
This is a great place for a date night or kids birthday party. Foods really good and the drinks are just as good. The games are pretty pricey and they never change so we don't go there for that anymore. The escape rooms are really fun and a great time. They are very well done. Would like to see new ones eventually as we've done both of them.
District Eat and Play has changed my life in so many ways. The best, the absolute best, bedside manner. I always feel like a princess when I walk through the doors. I like turtles.
Drove from Junction City to do go-karts with my children. We got there at 330pm and saw a small sign on the unlocked door "private event." We go inside and are immediately greeted with a rude and intimidating customer saying we can't be in there. No employees anywhere. Finally, find an employee, and they explain to us that they are technically open but closed for a private party. I double-checked their website, and there was nothing on it. The employee said they put out a message on Facebook. A lot of peopl
It is always a great place to take the family. The food is always top Noch. The kitchen manager (Marcell) came out to ask us how everything was going very friendly and the staff worked hard to make it a great experience. Would recommend the food, go-carts, skating, and arcades. There are lots of things to do. Great place for a birthday party as well.
It's no Dave and Busters but that's a hood thing. It was comfortably loud (no loud music blaring in your ears but still had game sounds. The bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. The games had quite a wide variety and a high chance for prize rewards, perfect for a family with small children or teens looking for fun. The only place I've ever been where the VR games don't cost me $10+.
Clean, big space full of entertainment and friendly staff. Great pizza. Came here for my son?s 10th birthday. Will be coming back!
Had a great experience at District today! Eleven of us were there eating lunch for my grandson's birthday, and Calibur was amazing! She was the only server, but she was friendly and efficient. She was sweet to the kids, and answered our questions patiently as we decided what to order. Can't thank her enough for making our time at District special! And the food was excellent as well!
Lots of fun things to do. Staff is friendly and helpful. Just a little expensive and very loud. Definitely worth the visit.
Fun place to go with the kids. There are a lot of fun things to do and good eats. Just a little bit expensive.
In the past few months the food selection has gotten better. The games are fun and keep the kids entertained. The female bartender is amazing, zooming around on skates between delivery food orders and maintaining the bar. That woman deserves mad koodos! Y'all come check this place out. Best part of the entire old mall.
Had my neices birthday party there . Had a good time with my family was enough things to do for everyone.
I take my daughter to Roller Derby practice every week, third time going. Great place for food, fun and friends--or to watch a sports game. A little over-priced. The Bartender is amazing, social, and great customer service skills. Highly recommend The District.
Absolutely amazing place for a day of family fun. The food is just ok and they seem to have shut off the soda machines so you have to buy bottles, but the endless amount of things to do more than makes up for it. By far the best escape room I've ever used too.
Really cool family fun place ! Came to celebrate my son?s birthday and we had a blast. The pizza was yummy , the service was amazing, and the activities were fun. There's plenty to choose from to do. There's an arcade, go karts , jumping area for the littles , axe throwing , bowling , pool , and much more. The workers are great we even had an issue with one of our cards and the worker Jasmine S. was so patient and helped fix our issue. Will definitely be return customers. The price packages aren't bad at al
It's a really cool place for kids and adults, just a bit expensive. If you come here with a group, expect to drop a couple hundred. Didn't try any food, but what I saw looked good.
The kids wanted to go roller skating, but they didn't have enough employees there to even allow skating at fourteen dollars a piece. You think they could do something...
I had my daughters birthday party here yesterday. I reserved the pickle ball room it was very hot. I then look for my host around 5:10 since party started at 5:30 so I could start ordering pizzas. He was no where to be found. Once he came back we ordered 3 pizzas to start. 20 min later no pizzas. We order 2 more. Then go up to the host to see what's going on with the food he said there was a miscommunication in the kitchen. On top of that I had to go look for my host for cups, plates and silverware that I n
Shout out to the bartender Calibur, for making my boys feel special and included at a birthday party tonight. They don't drink soda, and that was what was ordered for the party, she gave them waters and complimented them for making the better choice of drinking water, and they were blushing. she was incredibly sweet to them, and there is not enough of that in this world! Thank you so much Calibur, your kindness, compliments, and radiating positivity made my boys night. district, you are lucky to have her!
A little pricy, but they have it all. Go-Karts, escape rooms, arcade, food drinks, cornhole, ax throwing, beer pong, bumper cars, jelly ball, VR, etc...
Lots of fun, Gellyball and the Go Karts were worth every penny and a good variety of Arcade games. The golf simulator is the best I've ever seen! Check in and waiver signing process is a bit clunky is the reason for only 4 stars but will definitely come back!
Spent a $100 dollars (10 cards) to get the 1 hour unlimited play. Then was told that all the tickets that where won on the cards we are not able to redeem because they were won using the unlimited play cards. No where in this establishment does it state this. This guy is the only one who is claiming this. Another mother with her two small daughter were turned away, who also won tickets using the unlimited play. She left mad. This is so wrong.
calibur was amazing. i had family come out of state. it was the first time for us being here. for being as busy as she was she was as fast and helpful fun with the kids and more. definitely come back for her service again.
The games and attractions are great, minus the few broken arcade games, but don't bother ordering food. Their menu is barely existent anymore, overpriced, and they no longer have free cups for water ($3 and some change for a bottle water). Insane.
Went to ride the gocarts and after the first race I asked if they could turn the cars up as they were really slow. The last time I was there I had to actually let off the gas in the corners and steer/drive the cart to battle and pass people for a racing experience. This time I was told they had to govern the cars down because of an accident, really sucks that after signing a waiver one person can ruin it for everyone. Now you can hold the throttle wide open around the entire track and not loose traction or
Nobody greets you when you come in. Told to order food & drinks via the QR code. Didn't bring any of our drinks to the table. Been here 25 minutes and nobody has even acknowledged us.
Kindy pricey like $6 for a 16 oz beer abd atleast 6 arcade games are down or controls are so messed up that you risk loosing your credits. The staff is super nice atleast but the games need some major upkeep, espically since all but 1 messed up game are ticket earners
Tristan was the man! Helpful, professional and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a safe and fun experience. The go carts were a blast and the staff at the check in desk were friendly, helpful and efficient. The manager checked in on us a few times and left me with the impression that they really care. Visiting from Vegas and my whole family had a blast. Will definitely be back.
Fun place to go woth the kids. Wish the different stations had their own pay windows instead of having to wait in line at the front desk over and over. Food was good, close to typical commercial type restaurants, but nice to have after playing hard. Prizes for exchange are pretty high priced. Go karts are awesome, definitely prefer the junior carts to the larger ones. Large cars don't have power steering, very difficult to turn corners fast. Escape room was just okay. We solved it quick and
The bumper cars were rad!!! How does this place exist in such a small town at a mostly abandoned mall? Seriously we had so much fun and the staff just amplified the experience. Quite easily the most fun I've ever had in Salina. My 4yo woke up talking about the fun the next day
Pretty cool place! Lots of things to do. Just check the hours as not everything is open at the same time.
Fun place. The escape rooms are fun as well as the go carts and axe throwing. Will do the baseball simulator sometime. Understaffed and prices are too high for the activities. If they would lower the prices we would be there more often.
Caliber is an awesome server and bartender. Great place, great staff, great fun! Can't wait to go back might even move to Salina from this one experience.
Upon encountering a problem game, the staff was very helpful, especially jasmine and andrew. Customer service was great, professionalism with sense of urgency was greatly appreciated. Thank you for a great memory filled evening.the kids and I are looking forward to returning. The entire team of andrew, jasmine, kim and Mark is who made this all happen.
Awesome place (,but). We make the hour drive to bring our little ones here on the weekend to enjoy the arcade time cards, pizza, beer for adults, and sometimes we will pick one of the attractions to all do. Lately, the prices have been increase. This is understandable with current economy and I can't complain about that. The one complaint I have is that the time cards are no longer available on the weekend. The little ones have a better experience with time cards than money cards. The time cards are what ge
I was very impressed with the person that took our order. She was brand new to Salina and was easy going. She takes cleanliness very seriously. We ordered food and it was very good and hardly any wait. The games were fun. The bar tender was very friendly. The issue was about a throwing. A few of the people in my group wanted to do this and were told someone would be right over. After about 15 minutes, one of them went to check and there were about 6 staff members standing around. Another 15 minutes passed
We love going to this place. There's something for everyone. The facility is always clean and the food is good. If any games break, their fixed by the next time I go in.
Most machines are broken right now, all i wanted for my birthday was to play the coin pushers... All 6 were down and one i used only for it to eat my credits. There were several machines down that weren't even marked as such. Complete waste of money and time until at least 70% of the broken machines are fixed. Not even the photo booth was up. Played the wwe game only for it to give me half the tickets it said ot would the whole time. Also sat down at the fancy racing game at got exposed wires stuck on my dr
The two guys were great very friendly. Honestly one of the best times me and my family have had in a long time. The karts and bumper car are great for kids and adults.
Hi, we had visited here back in February on a Saturday and it was a good time. The time cards were still available and all the attractions seemed to be going. We attended on the Friday after Thanksgiving and it was pretty dead and the time cards were no longer available. That is the one thing that helped get us there usually and then more likely to do other attractions. We did enjoy the darts as it seemed to be more entertaining for the money spent.
I come here on my days off, usually Wednesday for the half off arcade games. The reason I come here often to try and battle getting overstimulated with anxiety. I only say this in case the employees are sick of seeing me, LOL This place is great! My first thought was the arcade was going to be a mess with how popular this place is, but nope! It was tidy and clean. I've done the skating, which is great! It's good value. I'm impressed because I came here once on a Saturday, and to say it was busy is an under
Most the games where down and not working. On a Saturday Both SpongeBob machines broke on me after spending 150.00 without completing all the cards and said it would be Monday before there fixed.
Better to get the time play cards then pre pay them!!
Lots of fun to be had! The staff is always kind and always helpful when needed! I would also like to add that I think the pricing is very reasonable! We often go to Manhattan, and attractions there are double, if not triple, what it costs at District.
My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and night out without our kids and came here. We stayed much longer than we expected and had a blast! We did an escape room, played pool, ate supper, played arcade games and made friends with the bar tender! We will definitely be back with or without our kids and check out all the other activities! Every employee that we asked questions or set up games for us was incredibly helpful, friendly and pleasant!
Had multiples machines take the credits but not work. Maintenance told me to go to the front and get my credits back, but everytime I needed to the manager was somewhere else and I had to wait for him for 30 min to an hour. When manager did come up here he gave me attitude and tried to not give me the credits back.
Pry open your wallet and just go with it. The kids will remember that you did. I had fun in the go carts, but the video games were more suited to the kids. I didn't try the other stuff, but only because nothing seemed worth it. I'd go to the track over and over if my wife let me?
Absolutely love this place! Husband and I love going there playing games and just feeling like a kid again! Only reason there is 4 stars is because every time we go in there are children crawling on the machines, the staff needs to be a lot more attentive before someone gets hurt
Loved the axe throwing, family enjoyed go carts. First exper>ence for all of for an escape room and feel it could have definitely been explained better. Also talking to customers with a pizza crust in hand is not very professional.
Front desk employee was rude, didn't have any knowledge of the escape rooms and didn't verify that we'd signed any waivers. We had to find an employee to let us in to every attraction. Staff did not verify belts were buckled on the bumper cars. My 8 y/o was in a tall car and fell out. Very over priced for mid enjoyment.
One and done? My first experience eating there was not a good one. I was pleasantly surprised when I was asked how I wanted my burger cooked, unfortunately it was far from my request and dry. They did over sauce to compensate, but that didn't help. I also ordered a to-go buffalo chicken salad for my wife who was in the hospital and six powdered donuts. Let's start with the donuts, they were much smaller than expected, but even stranger was the texture, which was rubbery. I threw them away. The to-go order w
Service at polito beach lacking to say the least. We ordered a few meat pies Unfortunately during a shift change Waited 45 min for meat pies with additional attitude. We would have never even received them if we didn't inquire about the status of our order..
There are a lot of things to do here. Arcade games, boutique bowling, bumper cars, go karts, roller skating, and more. It's actually a pretty good time, although it can get quite expensive very fast. Between loading a card with credits to play arcade games and then partaking in other activities, be prepared to easily spend $50-$100+. There are some packages available, but none of them really worked for what my daughter and I wanted to do, so we ended up paying for everything ? la carte.
Didnt sick around long but there appears to be something for everyone
We have came from Manhattan and we have gone only once so far for my birthday and we will come again . The staff with my experience were super friendly and the go cart racing is a little slower than what I'm used to but definitely a fun track, Food was really good! As well as the drinks ?? My whole faimly had a ton of fun! And the prices dont break the bank! The games are high quality and super cheap! We will be coming back very soon with more friends and faimly.
Great place to celebrate a birthday or just to have a good drink
What an amazing experience. Clean restrooms, amazing food. Great video games and these escape rooms. Thank you for showing me and my 2 sons an amazing time. Erica and the whole team were above expectations!!!!
We did an Escape Room, boutique bowling, and ate dinner there. The Escape room was really fun but checking in was more difficult then it should have been. Unfortunately we lost and didn't make it out in time. Boutique bowling was enjoyable but it kept breaking down on us or scoring us incorrectly. Employees made efforts to fix the issue and we appreciated that. I especially want to thank Michael, our Escape room guy. Whoever manages the District, you should give that guy a raise.
I moved to rural Kansas 6 months ago and drove to Salina looking for something fun to do with my 2 young girls to end summer vacation in style. I found the district by chance after seeing a movie at the mall and it exceeded my wildest expectations. There's a ton of fun things for the kids to do and its fun for adults too. You can easily spend an entire day there without running out of things to do.
It was a busy Saturday, to be expected - arrived at 3:30p to do some go karts with my 7yo. We were using a birthday gift card that his grandparents gave him - we purchased the (3) junior kart pack which is a great deal - waited over 1hr to be able to ride once, and could see that there was a large line to race again - at this point we would not be able to wait another 2-3hrs to finish off the last 2 races we had purchased - Mark was working the go karts and it was obvious all of the employees were busy doi
If I could rate it lower I would. Why do you order food at the attractions counter? The employees seem like they don't want to work there. There seemed to be an issue of not having AC at all. Majority of the arcade games took tokens and didn't work. Cornhole game needs new bags. The entire place needs a remodel. Food was trash. Never go there
Came here from out of state. Website says nothing about go carts and other major attractions being only thurs thru Sunday ?? we were VERY disappointed by this. Food is fair. The grilled cheese for a little one was cold, chips were very stale on the nachos, the wings weren't bad, onion rings lacked a lot, the Wisconsin cheese fries were at the best okay. Seems to be run mainly by younger people with no customer service experience nor interest in people. The young man who brought out our food tried to make th
Surprisingly quiet on a Friday evening. We didn't have any wait time. Lots to do! The go carts and escape rooms were our favorites.
Great food, and they have this special on game cards that runs mon-thurs I believe. Flat rate game card- so much time for x amount of dollars. You don't get tickets for the games but if your have multiple kids with you it's a real money saver. also those go-karts are pretty awesome.
It was my first time and it was amazing it has everything you can ask for arcade axe throwing base ball go karts all kinds of things its a perfect date if you want to be a child again to bringing the whole family. The only down side is that it's expensive and you will lose your money if your not careful. Other than that have fun enjoy please drink responsibility
Such a fun place with different activities. Definitely need deep pockets. Definitely need more staff at the desk where you purchase tickets. 1 staff member on weekends not enough.
Great for date night. Not much for little kids but great for tweens and teenagers. Food takes about 30 minutes no matter what you order. So go play some games and have fun before you sit down. They would really benefit from buzzers to let you know your food is ready, and clearer signage about how to register.
Great place to kill a few hours with your kids and spend their college savings. It's definitely not a place to frequent if your trying to save money. But hey, it's for the kids
I've been living here for quite a while, and I'd say, this is the most fun place in Salina! Employees were very helpful and kind when I asked questions. The arcade is clean and maintained, and a great selection of games (my personal favorite is Disney Crossy Road). Haven't eaten much food here, but I did try the ice cream dippin dots. Pricey, but delicious nonetheless and pretty sure it's the only place in Salina you can get Dippin Dots so it's understandable for the price. The roller skates are clean an
This was our first time visiting and we enjoyed our time here. My kids (teens) seemed to have a lot of fun and they were particularly happy with the virtual reality areas. Ax throwing was fun too! A bit understaffed but I know that's to be expected right now. Prices are a bit high, which is why only 4 stars.
Garrett the Escape Game Master of the day is amazing! We have done close to 200 escape rooms across the country and he really made both rooms enjoyable. Not the most high tech rooms, or the hardest rooms we have done but definitely a great time thanks to Garrett! Recommend giving it a shot, and don't forget your nursery rhymes when you go!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
