Depot Family Fun Center

Depot Family Fun Center

Reviews Summary

The reviews present a mixed but polarized consensus. Many praise the venue as a fun, family-friendly spot with bowling, skating, arcades, and good food, highlighting friendly staff and a lively atmosphere. However, recurring complaints cite poor maintenance, malfunctioning equipment, rude service, and cleanliness issues. Several negative reviews mention denied refunds, unhelpful staff during problems, and structural neglect. High ratings dominate, but low scores reflect significant dissatisfaction, particularly with management and facility conditions.

Customer Reviews

Went here for my birthday on March 1. The staff was awesome, the food was great, had a good time. The reason I'm not giving this place five stars is because of a security guy, who I don't remember the name of. After we got there at about 6:10 pm and chose a few lanes, I went back to the claw machine by the door (didn't win anything) and he asked to check my bag (a minor). I thought it was probably policy, so I let him. He didn't check anyone else?s bag that I could see, so that was pretty weird. About forty

Great family place fir bowling and skating. We always enjoy it.

Nice place Inside, you'd never know it was so great from driving past. Great staff, very friendly and polite...food is good atmosphere is terrific. Family fun indeed! I recommend that you and the fellows stop or you and the family. You will not be disappointed! Jessica was particularly helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and accommodating,...make sure and tip her!

Brought my school multiple days to enjoy a reward trip and it was ruined by one employee there. The employee named "Biscuit" was out of control and yelled at the children the whole time. Will never bring any of my students back there.

Depot Family Fun Center is a great place to hang out and have fun! There was a small issue with the lanes during our visit, but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure we had a great time. Excellent customer service and a fun atmosphere!

Place is pretty run-down and I hate that almost half of the arcade was replaced by a bar... Yeah, just what a "family fun center" needs: drunks getting rowdy and talking about inappropriate topics right next to where the kids are playing games. Pizza was OK, but when we asked for sweet tea, the waitress put WAY too much sugar in it, enough to make our lips stick together. I feel like this place is being run into the ground. No one talks fondly about it anymore. Just another wasted business opportunity in P

I come several times a year for bowling tournaments and have always had a great time. Employees always go above and beyond to improve our experience.

We had a nice time bowling with the grandchildren. Our balls got stuck after rolling over 5 different times in lane 19. They were kind enough to add extra time to make up for time lost. Also the scoreboards were not working properly either. Several times we noticed that the scores were added to the next person after the balls were stuck. Definitely need mechanisms upgraded.

They harassed me and my friends then told us we had to pay 7 dollars just to walk around.

I'm not impressed with this place as far as the skating goes. It's $11 to skate and the skates are falling apart, the service is bad and not much on the music. We have been there twice and it's a 45 min. drive for us but I'm willing to drive a little further for a better place to take my kids skating.

Paid for 2 hours of bowling, had to move to 2 different lanes because they both messed up. Pizza never came so we asked for a refund but they "don't give refunds". Definitely do not recommend.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The owner himself discriminated against a group of young African adults ages between (15-18) this past weekend ! Although there were many other groups who were having fun and laughing at the same level he targeted that particular group . While being one of the only African groups there at the time. The workers were walking pass almost refusing to serve us; we had to say ?ma?am? or ?excuse me? three-four times before she would respond. The owner acted as if he didn't see a th

My kids love skating here. However the place is a bit ran down. The bathrooms are ALWAYS dirty (need some adult staff to handle the cleaning) I assume bc it's mainly kids that work there. Tonight I went into the stall where there was clearly toilet paper, but apparently was out in wrong and stuck bc it wouldn't come out! ?? I had to call my child to bring me napkins! The stall beside me had no tp and there were no paper towels! Also it was freezing cold in there. Could use lots of improvements, but like I s

The place was nasty, and the our bowling machine was broke, had to tell the workers twice that it was messed up. The manager was real rude and weird, saying that we was loud but we wasn't we was just talking and ordering. Then told us to get out because he own the place, really was discriminating us and it gave racist vibes. Wouldn't recommend coming here. Not worth it!

The manager or the owner of the place was rude and called the police on a group of teenagers. The way he acted towards them was disgusting and prejudices. The police have said this is not his first time calling them. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

We paid for an hour for two lanes. One lane was fine. The other at least a third of our time was wasted because it was constantly not working properly. Anytime we needed something, we had to hunt someone down. Maybe have an adult overseeing that the teenagers work instead of crowded around their phones.

Brought family with me for a tourney and they enjoyed themselves to the fullest from skating, bowling to the arcade. Only complaint was that it was little toasty on lanes 19 and 20, but even with that, I still give a 5 star recommendation. We will return!!! Thanks for a fun weekend.

We preordered our Birthday Festivities and rental of shoes for Bowling. It was 8 of us. We all had a blast! The staff was very attentive and helpful, we enjoyed our evening out. We are hoping to get to do this again soon. Thank you to all of the staff who attended to our party.???

Had a great time. Staff was great

I only gave it one star so I can post. The place is a dump. The arcade games don't work a waste of money then you have to pay a $5 charge to walk around. It was brought to my attention 20 minutes after being there, when a security guard escorted my 17 year old son and nephew to the arcade area. Yet there were so many others that weren't wearing a walk around band. A security guard sat on a stool and watch my family play and then walked us out the door once we were done. Two more walked out behind us.. I wo

Truly awful skating rink. Concrete, so much dust your wheels can grip the floor; you just slide straight over it. I've been skating for 8 years and have never come across a rink this bad. Only reason its not a one star is because of the staff. Good people

Good family fun, but very busy and disorganized on the weekends. Lots of teenagers hanging out which it's nice to see there is a decent place for them to go these days. Staff was friendly and helpful no matter how many times our bumpers went down they readily went to put them back up.

The service was today was very very poor, cashier didn't give us our cups also we ordered pizza soon as we came in it took 2hrs just to give us our food and nobody was there at all but us we asked them where is our food they said we had to wait another 15 minutes and that took half an hour (this was awful 0 stars)

We love coming to bowl and skate here. There's security on the weekends, it's clean, the staff is friendly. It's a great environment if you want a safe place for your kids to have a good time.

My family and I had a wonderful time.

Most of the staff here is great. The lanes are average. Scoring system video looks awesome and is entertaining, but the actual lane mechanics have failed at least once in every game I've bowled. Pizza is great. Several private rooms for parties including a party room with lanes, however the lanes are prone to failure and the room is tiny. The playlist for the skating rink is NOT appropriate for children.

We went skating and I was not able to enjoy my experience. The skates were old and worn. They obviously need to invest in new skates. The music was wack and its very hot in there. I was celebrating my bday and was not able to enjoy my family. I asked for a refund and the manager said that they don't give refunds. Do yourself a favor and go to another entertainment center!!! Especially if you wish to skate.

In my opinion it shouldn't be considered a ?family fun center?! Every time we try to go bowling, they are having a tournament, so it's not any lanes open. Nothing against tournaments or people that play in tournaments but however I do think the place should consider the public and have open lanes set aside for families to enjoy!

Worst experience, paid almost over a hundred to bowl and only could bowl at least 20 minutes out of the hour. The lanes weren't working properly and the staff gave not one care in the world. The manager was very nonchalant about the situation and didn't do anything to resolve the problem.

5 people. It was ok. Pricey in my opinion. $60.00 for 2 hrs of bowling and a large pizza. Drinks $1.00 refills. Arcade is 4 credits a swipe. So 10.00 will get 8 games to play.

They should allow local business classes to come in and see what a local business looks like when you only reap profits and don't reinvest into your business. The place is falling apart mechanically and structurally.

Mean little teenagers are running this place! Very rude! Owner lets them all run wild! No customer service and cussing in front of young children!

No sanitizing precautions as far as masks or sanitizer stations. Most of the games in the arcade were out of order and the ones that did work either didn't disperse tickets you won or you had to add extra money than required to place the game. The game room attendant had to keep reimbursing tokens lost in the games, the diner staff was not welcoming at all, tables and seats not cleaned, and my loaded nachos were nasty! Piled with clumps of salty meat, hardly no chips and missing the sour cream and jalape?os

Depot Family Fun Center is a very family orientated place and the customer service is very friendly. The employees always have a smile on there faces to make you feel welcomed. I would persuade anyone to go there with there families and have a good time.

it was very nasty nothing wasn't clean bad customer service & there manger was racial profiling my family members for no reason & harassing us i wouldn't recommend nobody to come to this filthy place ever again it's a bad place for the community & the family?s that go here.

Terrible Customer service! The workers were very rude and disrespectful! We came in with 22 people paying customers we weren't rude and my kids weren't and if they would have in any way that I knew about I would have handled my children. But Thanks to their very rude customers service I will be taking my money some where else next time to have fun!

We had a fun time here. I didn't even know this place was open until a friend told us about it! I always thought the sign was just old and the place had shut down. It's like a hideout! The reason I didn't put five stars is because they need more people working at the diner area. There was 10 people waiting in line with only one worker at the counter.

Poor customer service! Paid $10 for my 2 year old to skate & the skates hurt his feet so I went to the front & asked for a refund. He said they don't do refunds, so I said arcade tokens would be fine, he rejected that also! Came to the arcade & nothing works so another $5 wasted. Also, I had to pay $10 for myself to skate with my baby so this trashy place cost me $25 for nothing! Don't recommend to anyone!

We used to love going here. Kids always had fun, the place was always smiling.... Service is less than adequate most days. The place itself needs a revamp.

They manager is rule as hell real bad Management n costumer service suck.. i dont see who want to go there he will not get any my money no more . He was so disrespectful all because they was trying service me cold food

Well I have a very disappointing Child. Why bother posting you're open and you don't have anything open. My kid wanted to skate today. Nope- closed, guess what? So was arcade? oooooh k we will bowl. Nope it's league night. Can't bowl either, even with 5 lanes open. We won't be back. I'll be going to Jackson with my business from now on. Very dissatisfied.

I've always loved coming here. However, the last time I was there, both of the lanes that my group was playing on glitched. The points were always either too high or too low, but never correct unless you got a strike.

Bobbie takes care of you like family. Stanley cooks the second best steak in town, behind me of course. The Adult League is amazing and the staff is great. The only negative thing, and it's not that bad, is that the adult beverages could be a little colder coming out of the tap.

The best thing about this bowling center though holding a State Tournament was the Veterans Wall and their patriotic theme. Lane Maintenance was atrocious, causing delays. Although the ladies at the Snack Bar were very nice the coffee was not very good.

New to town and started coming to bowl here as it's a hobby of mine. From Mark, to Pete, to bill, to Jesse, and to Jessica... This staff treated me like I'd been coming forever. It's my new favorite little spot to hang out and bowl a few games.

I've been there for all star bowling championship and for a youth tournament and for junior gold! The staff is just amazing the food was terrific! Totally recommend going there

Employees cared more about socializing than actually working. Me and my family?s lane wasn't working, front desk lady said they will fix it. Was waiting for 15 mins and she was socializing. Bad for bussiness. Won't come again.

Hear me out!! Please don't go here, during the Corna pandemic, I came here with my mother and sister, and when we came through the door not a single soul wore a mask and a dog was running around loose in the building. And there is no hand sanitizer or wipes for people, so please for your safety dont go, or wear a mask and/or bring your own wipes or sanitizer. 2 two because I did enjoy myself ??

Great family atmosphere! They work real hard at making sure everyone has a great time.. good food and the it is kept really nice and clean.

Always some kind of issue or problem on every visit with employees not honoring the time they say their open or shutting down early because an employee didn't want to tend to the skating side and only keeping one lane open for bowling . They don't know what good customer service is. I would be surprised if this place lasted much longer.

We only bowled at the Depot, but we had a blast. The lanes are more clean and modern than any I'd ever used before. Highly recommended!

Bad costumer service. skating side always getting shut down or being closed during weekdays. Seems like no one not even the management cares about this place being run into the ground. Very nasty and dirty environment doesn't seem like anyone is trained to clean it properly.

Pizza upsets stomach but I think I might be lactose intolerant ?? Everything so good they have a roller skating rink bowling alley arcade club party rooms food . The food is good quality also ice cream pizza and other things there is wheelchair accessible parking and entrances

NASTY! I was in there today 2/3/2024 for the kids to skate. The skating area is run down. Walls was nasty. Needless to say I wasn't there long

I wish there was a 0 star rating. This is no place for a family! Had to hunt down someone to help me and it was like a ghost town except for the local groupies. I felt very uncomfortable and won't be back.

Employees are rude, skating floor isn't wood it's concrete not a real skating rink. Bowling lanes limited to only one lane open due to saving on electricity. Place is dirty, food over priced, looks as if this place will shut down soon.

Hard to deal with the staff they are not very friendly and if you ahve a problem they dont seem to care been here multiple times but havnt ahd a good experience yet. Will probably be back eventual because its closest plave with bowling and skating for my kids

Children's arcade area, bowling, and other entertainment. Also, there's a secluded bar where you can play pool and enjoy alcoholic beverages. Friday and/or Saturday nights live djs are in the building. Usually starts around 9. They also serve food as well.

Brand new bowling scoring system with touchscreens, very cool! Great staff and lots of fun things to do here.

Awful.....Owner was very nasty...... I Ordered some food and before I left the counter I tasted a fry which wasn't done . Asked to speak to the manager when she came to me she was rude. And I asked for a refund and she told me they don't give refunds. But wanted to argue me down that they fries were done but it didn't have to go that far if she would have kept it professional....

I haven't been to the fun center. We go in front of the fun center to The 4S Steakhouse. A great place with good food and service.

My kids absolutely love this place. This is all I hear about on the weekends. Its cool though they have lots of fun .

A week ago I was in town visiting a friend. . I live in Las Vegas. But for a small town this place rocks!! I'll definitely put Philadelphia on my to do list for the future. It's not Vegas but it's an alright place.. The Casino in town ranks right up there with some of the smaller resorts in my hometown Vegas.. oh love the way you southerners use the word ya'll!! Lol I've caught myself saying it on the way back to Las Vegas!! LMAO

There are very few arcade games, and half of them don't even work. We stood at the ticket prize counter for ten plus minutes waiting for someone to help us. I think the prices are too high.

Don't think my last comment saved but I am a hard working parent just wanted to spend time with my son almost every other time we bowl the ball won't return or the guard for the balls won't let up my son enjoyed the pizza but this was a waste of money and time the best game here was the air hockey

I never had a problem there as a vendor they always seem to be in a good mood and laughing with magnolia beverages Inc thank you for your business

Bowling was fun its just that it was timed sessions and we spent 5-7 minutes several times having to go tell them the balls aren't returning.

Attend my grandsons birthday party, facility condition could stand some TLC, staff was pleasant and helpful.

Terrible experience will never go back the little boys behind the skate counter definitely needs some skills in customer service it is allowed for them to be rude no wonder there is security eveywhere the employees can say whatever don't dare say anything to them terrible place

Had fun grand daughter loved it. Food prices are ridiculous. Eat before you go.

The staff was scarce and when you could get someone to help you the adults seemed confused but the youngsters actually know what they are doing and could run the place.

It was okay...just the fact that it was kinda hot in the building but it was for my sister's birthday.

Great service and friendly staff.

They offer bowling, skating, diner, arcade. Good family fun.

Friendly staff helped get my big family of 6 the best deal for bowling, drinks and pizza. We all had a fun time. Thanks!

great employees, good food, and fun skating, but not very kid friendly when you get to the point of kids having sex in the back or in the bathrooms

I love this place was kinda worried to drop off 14 yr old but the security is great food is great food was really really good

Had a blast fun place to go bowling or skating and parents can drink a beer n kids can have pizza and sodas

Bowled a tournament here staff was great . Overall nice bowling alley will go back when I'm in yown

The worse I've ever had especially the skating side and the Manger is very unprofessional and the person that take your planning arrangements explain it one way on the phone but write it down another way my kids was cheated out of time they didn't get the help they need and was told they would've what they need when I was planning it but get there it's another way I will never use your service again depo family fun Center signed LISA CARTER

Pour customer service. I'd rather stick to other options. When a place doesn't do right by their customers, it's a no for me! Spent to much.

My kids had a great time! Only wish they have a few more better arcade games!!

Excellent place for both adults and children. Good good and a lot of fun games to keep children happy. We love the bowling too!!

Want to give it no stars but won't let me. This place is not even there anymore. Was in town visiting with friends and wanted to go here but it is shut down.

Really fun for families and friends. Its family-friendly. It has an arcade, skating rink, pool tables and great food.

My daughter broke here leg there. They wouldn't help and didn't even offer to call ambulance. Very rude employees

I go here all the time, their bowling is great and the skatings always fun.

It says it opens at 12, yet here we are ????? sitting and waiting!! This is not a good way to do business! It's 12:20 now!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
