Absolutely wonderful experience! We went on opening day, of course ABSOLUTELY PACKED! No complaints regardless due to them being properly staffed and trained wonderfully. I would like to say it was expensive, but compared to Jungle Rapids, much cheaper and the food was OUTSTANDING! Will be coming back when it isn't opening day! Be prepared for the kids to have more games then they know what to do with!
We went one week after they opened and SO many games already weren't working. We had fun in the arcade but were definitely disappointed that so many weren't available. Drinks were expensive and they're light on their pours. Food took a while to come out and although it tasted great it was way over priced for the portion sizes. We ordered $12 queso for the table and it was laughable how small it was. The steak bowl was delicious but only came with 5 TINY strips of steak for $21. We decided we'll probably go
Morgan our waitress was great and the food did come out reasonably quick. However the food was a little blah/bland tasting not much flavor. They have a $60 combo card where you get unlimited games for 90 minutes, my son had a good time, we will come back for the games but not the food! Spent about $140 with food, drinks, game cards. It is dark in there & lots of kiddos running around having a fun time! Very loud environment though which i didnt mind. There is a family restroom there which I thought was great
My family is a huge fan. We've been here twice now and each time was a great experience. If we start with games, they have a great selection of reasonably priced modern/well functioning games. If there was any issue with game, a tech was there in minutes (and we went on busy days) to fix the gave/give us a credit back if we couldn't play the game right away. The prize room has some great selections and again, also reasonably priced. My son always walks out happy with a lot of loot that's modern and relevant
Not Ready for prime time. Went for drinks & games on Sat. We had a table in the bar area and the service was horrible and annoying. 2 servers were openly fighting over our table and both ?checking? on us far too frequently in very pushy ways. The one server seemed to not have any knowledge of alcohol/bar service and even though he was constantly interrupting our conversation to try to sell us drinks. He had no idea if Tito?s was a vodka or what Jameson was. Also he frequently handed us the digital order
So a few things. Love the look, a lot of people say it's small, I've never been to another D&B but I enjoy it. The games are fun. Although no kiosks were working so we had to wait on a long line for about 10-15 min to add money. My first visit we came just for dinner. Host was wonderful, management was excellent. Now our Waiter was snotty and her attitude was strong. We got something simple has a burger. Delicious. But my husband and friend got sick on their food and couldn't finish eating n we left. Second
Went here on Sunday afternoon. A handful of games weren't working, but that didn't stop me from having fun. There is a decent selection of games from shooters and driving games to carnival games and claw machines. The location is smaller than other D&B locations I've visited, so it gets crowded and loud. It doesn't help that people were letting their kids run around the tight spaces as well as some parents bringing strollers through. That's not a fault of the arcade, but it still impacts the experience. I
This was our first trip to this Dave & Busters to celebrate my child graduating. It was very nice and spacious. What made this trip very special was the nice lady at the ticket redemption station. I want to say that her name was Krista. She was very sweet and patience. She made our experience one that we will not forget, thanks again for that! Also, our server was was nice and quick. I must say that we visit this spot at a great time. I'm not sure if it was because it was Thursday, but our timing was
Had a pretty good experience Pros: Food, Drinks, Atmosphere, Games, all great! Bathrooms were clean! Staff was Amazing, Friendly, & helpful. Cons: The speakers above our heads at the bar were WAY too loud. We had to yell in each other's ear to hear the person sitting rt next to us. I know the atmosphere in general is loud but the speakers were beyond too loud and very overstimulating. I went here to celebrate my birthday. I was disappointed to find out on the day of the grand opening, they didn't have an
We visited this Dave & Buster?s around 6:00pm on a Monday evening, excitedly hoping to enjoy some food and drinks before playing games for my birthday. Unfortunately, what we experienced was a clear lack of customer service that left a really bad impression. We chose to sit at the bar since it wasn't overly busy and seemed like a good spot to settle in. However, after sitting there for over 10 minutes, not a single staff member acknowledged us ? no greeting, no eye contact, no ?we'll be right with you,? not
We were very excited to take our kids but there were definitely issues. There aren't as many game choices as other Dave and busters but my kids really didn't notice and still had fun. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The issues were that multiple games my kids did want to play we're not working the whole time we were there. Then In the middle of playing a bunch of games stopped working and the screens said store closed. After that all the games shut down for about 5 minutes and no one could play any ga
I agree with others. The food is subpar and the price of alcohol is outrageous (even for Wilmington). Super fun for kids especially half price games on Wednesday. My biggest annoyance is the rush to get you out of the table. Like we're here to drink and let my kid play games. Why can't we ?camp? at a table on a random Wednesday at 2pm? No one is waiting and no one was sat once we were forced from our table. And if you have to-go boxes and bags, where are you supposed to sit stuff while playing? It just seem
What a great experience! We went for a fun time and had a ball! We bought the summer pass: well worth the price for unlimited gaming and discount on food. We were greeted warmly and everyone was so helpful: from Davis who sat us and Abney our waitress, the manager and servers and Tae. Great attitudes and great customer service. The food is delicious and nice serving portions! Definitely coming back!!
Arcade games were fun and girlfriend enjoyed the drinks first time we went, next time we decided to get some food, just 2 of us. We sat and waited 15 minutes for our server before we decided it was a little too late and ate else where, some of the games were also not working. Otherwise good experience.
The assortment of games is pretty standard with only a few games that are truly unique and offer a great experience. I found the service to be fine though things are chaotic and it's hard to determine the restaurant layout. That's probably for the best however because the food is terrible. I had the fish and chips which was overcooked and incredibly bland.
Grand opening was bananas! Check it out! Place is big, plenty of everything. Would be a really cool place for birthday parties if they do that. Looking forward to catching some games here with the wildlings!
Went opening day. This one is smaller compared to others we've been to. Even the prize room is tiny. The bar is smack in the middle of the venue and there isn't much seating for eating. Not many games like others. Kids got bored after an hour. Other D&B we would be there for 3 hours. Was disappointed.
Our first time at a D & B, and the games were fun. The use of the card was confusing. I think we bought a summer pass, it was $99.99. I maxed out the 1000 tickets, and I liked the fact that the tickets loaded onto the card, so there wasn't anything to keep up with. The service and the food was pretty good, it would have been fantastic if there was a wall or some kind way to divide the food/bar area from the play area. It was to way to loud, but always carry my headphones, so I was kind of able to drown out
Between adults screaming and hitting the machines and the insanely loud games, I couldn't stay to even use the rest of the money on the card that I bought. I can't believe how loud it is in there. Every game in there had to be set to max volume. It was louder than a casino... The staff seemed nice from what little I could hear them say. I had planned to spend an hour there, but couldn't take the noise level for more than 15 minutes. Just take the extra time to go to the one in Myrtle Beach. I had no issue g
I recently visited this location and was greeted warmly by Decarlos, the GM. My server, Azul, was fantastic and made the experience even better. I had an amazing time overall! This new location is definitely worth checking out! The food was hot and delicious, and both the mojito and other drinks from the bar were spot on. The arcade was a blast! Super clean, spacious, and filled with a great mix of classic favorites and the latest high-tech games. Whether you're into racing, shooting, or ticket games, the
Dropped 3 kids off for my daughter?s 16th birthday for games and dinner. I got a call several hours later that they were not allowed to eat there unless they were accompanied with someone 25 years old or older. They walked to Chick-fil-A for dinner . I met them at D&B for dessert and it took the waitress over 20 minutes to come over and acknowledge us. Awful experience and not allowing kids to order chicken fingers is absolutely unacceptable.
We just hosted a graduation party for our son. The entire process was wonderful. The room space was great and our food was perfect. What really made the event were our wait staff, Kiki and Tones. They were so very friendly and kind. They were perfect. Will definitely be back to this location and will recommend to anyone!
This is a miniature arcade compared to other Dave and Buster's. This location is one-third the size of Myrtle Beach. There are a lot less games to choose from. There are no bowling alleys. The dining area is very cramped. This small size makes the noise as loud as being at a concert. The environment is very stressful. I will not return. Only one game looks fun at this location. Jungle Rapids has more games than this place, is more peacful, and way more affordable. Major disappointment because I was expectin
This is a miniature version of Dave & Buster?s, and despite being a long-time fan, this is easily the worst one I've visited. This location feels like a blatant money grab at every opportunity. They even charge you $3 for each play card, which really sets the tone for how overpriced everything is. The games are outrageously expensive for such a small, underwhelming arcade. If they scrapped the gimmicky prize wall and focused on value and fun, maybe you could play for less than $80 per hour, who knows? Doe
WARNING ?? : EXTREMELY LOUD This was my birthday plan. I love Dave and Busters, been to multiple, this level of noise isn't normal and my ears hurt after only 10 minutes in the arcade and I had to give up on having fun at the arcade on my birthday. I would love to come back if you guys could turn down the game noise levels. This is not people yelling. Its piercing noises coming from a machine you're trying to play but is actively hurting you. On the other hand, stuff they can't really control is grown adu
Games were great for the kids. Food was not that great and three stars is a bit generous. Ordered a chicken sandwich. Mustard was all over the plate and the tomato had hard green stemlike spots in it. Service was terrible- took forever to order. My food arrived 30 minutes after everyone else at our table, and the waitress hardly ever stopped by to check on us.
Went to Dave and busters for the second time lastnight (was there opening day?) I love it! The only complaint I have is the amount of people walking around with their drinks, leaving empty cups on the games and even saw a few spilled drinks on the games. Guys?. They literally just opened and y?all are TRASHING the place and wonder ?why doesn't Wilmington have anything nice?. Y?all are grown adults CLEAN up after yourselves. Then you have all these kids running around what if they were to sip on your unfini
Really enjoyed the seating, atmosphere, and our waitress, Mykenzie! She was super friendly and helped in choosing something simple! An amazing experience as usual! Keep up the good work you guys! -April
I couldn't wait for D&B to open here! I was disappointed with the atmosphere. It is so loud in there. I (an adult) was stressed because of the music so loud. It's not as open and big as Myrtle Beach but it will have to do for us here. There is only one air hockey table and its not even full size. Several of the games were down, I am assuming it will get better as the kinks are worked out. There was alot of law enforcement activity. I saw what seemed to be some external trouble that ended there. I hope it on
We went on a Saturday night and It was a zoo. 2 hrs wait for table, they don't take reservations on weekend. It was quite expensive for everything but especially the games. The food wasn't bad and the drinks were good but it was just too crowded.
Kait, our server was amazing! Kids had fun with all the games, it was a great way to spend a hot day indoors. Facilities were clean and everything was great!
Went there for dinner on 6-16-2025 at 6:30 places order at the bar with Joey! Bar tender Never got our food. We were approach twice with orders that were not ours! I ordered unlimited chicken wings and ribeye steak meal . Food showed up at 7:36 once I cancelled our order and i
Second time at a DB ever!! So much fun!!! Everybody there was so sweet and accommodating!! We invested in a summer season pass and it's so worth it already!!! Can't wait to come back!! Opening a Dave & Buster?s here was such a smart investment?it's exactly what Wilmington needed!!!
I didnt expect me to go on opening day we drove from jacksonville to have a little fun . It really wasn't that crowded it was room to breathe and play . I met 2 lovely ladies by the store they where really nice and helpful . Then came across rhe manager was very nice and directed me to what to do about old cards I had . We ate our waiter extremly nice Tony deserves props only thing I would say is its very expensive to play games its not wilimington location fault I def blew 200 dollars. Quickly. Grea
Had the best time with my family ! The atmosphere was amazing as soon as we walked it ! Our Server Kiki was seriously the best server I had in a while always making sure we had everything we needed ! She was absolutely amazing and very helpful ! The food came out in great time and was so delicious! The wings are amazing !!! We will be back for sure !!!! Thank you Dave and Busters !!!
The games are fun, but the wait staff isn't very welcoming or polite. The food is also quite expensive, so keep that in mind?and be sure to double-check the tip amount when you go to pay.
Only reason I'm even giving 3 stars is because I loved our server but the food was absolutely horrible!!!! TGI Fridays boxed wings you buy frozen in the grocery store ?? Then to top it off the food wasn't even hot when we received it! It's a nice establishment and fun but seriously step the food game up!
My kids and I came today the food was not good had no flavor, and expensive. and our waiter only came twice. And the game where even more expensive. Food was $50 and games where $34 for 2 kids so $84 total
Our server was nice but the place was really loud and we had to yell just to talk to the person next to us. The building is small with way too many people. I left before our entire card was spent. Maybe avoid weekends and it will be better.
?????????? I had such a great experience at Dave & Buster?s thanks to our server, Kait! She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. From checking in on us often to making great recommendations, Kait went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. It really made our night more enjoyable. Big thanks to Kait for the outstanding service!!! we'll definitely be back!
Had the best service from kait! Hands down best experience we've had. The fish in chips was also amazing. Perfectly cooked. I got hot sauce on my shirt and she helped me get the stain out. Highly recommend this location, and ask for kait!
Great service and fun arcade. The staff is top notch! Only request is to turn the music down. Hard to talk to people beside you and leaves your ears ringing
Extremely pricey for a meal. Several games were non-functional and securing a drink took an inordinate amount of time. Generally, an overwhelming atmosphere, similar to Buffalo Wild Wings, with a strong gaming focus.
Smaller than others I've been to in the past and it can get pretty loud, but an overall great experience nonetheless. All of their food is reasonably priced and delicious, tokens for games are cheap and all the employees are good people.
:/ we waited for 15 mins for our server, yet another couple got their drinks within 5 mins of sitting down, we just walked out lol. First time here and probably not coming back, which sucks because ive only heard great things about this place - stars for the great hosts though! Very sweet
My car battery died on the way in and Toni was kind enough to offer me a jump .I played games for a while to pass the time, and it turned out that she wasn't able to step away from work, but was able to find another patron willing to help me. I had a great experience, all things considered!
i dont even live there or been to wilmmy, but best believe this place be poppin like all the others. its not too loud and you hit all the jackpots on the games. easy PS5 after 3 games. 10/10 would spend money again
It's on the smaller side than the others we have visited. Because of the space, all the games are very close to each other, so if it's packed, it will be hard to walk through. Like others have mentioned, it's very loud on the inside.
Kait was super cool and hooked us up with the best deals for our money. 90 min unlimited gameplay and a meal is too good.
RUSHED..... was told if we all got up that our table would be cleared. She delivered our food and then, less than 5 minutes, was at our table wanting payment....not sure why I dumped $200 only to be in and forced out in under 30 minutes....even clearing out table while we sit here and eat....this really sucks....may 28th at 1200.....don't much care to return to this 'new' D/B........
I don't understand all the bad reviews I went last week on opening day and had no problems service was good staff was calm and chill and the arcade was nice despite it not being the biggest Dave and busters arcade there are still plenty of games
Great food and drinks. Fun place.
Big shout out to Kylie! She was so sweet and fun to talk to, professional and our food was delicious and right on time! Thank you Kylie!
Super well staffed and clean! The games were great, food was awesome, and we had so much fun??
This place is very entertaining to visit, and great food to boot! I'll definitely come back with my brothers, and enjoy the arcade some more!
Employees very kind and friendly, great customer service. Highly would recommend Dave and busters for a fun time and enjoy watching games and sports
I have no idea how this place has those low reviews ! I've been there twice and it's been nothing but a top notch experience. Staff was amazing! Teenage kids loved it too !
Why do I have to be 18 or older to get into dave and busters? It's a freaking arcade. If anything make people show their id for the bar instead of making it open. So dumb
Kait was a great server and very attentive, food was pretty good and we enjoyed our meal!
Loved the place. I hope you guys can expand the game room. Would love to see more games in the near future
Recently opened, it was super busy but the food was good and the kids enjoyed playing games
My son and I were invited to the friend and family night. What a great place. Staff were great. Food was good.
Aubrey was our server at Dave n busters and she was so fun to talk to!! She's great
Didn't get food just let my teenage kids go and play games it was awesome time. Will be coming back
Solid fare , a bit pricey . Lots of games and TV for sports events in Mayfaire Town Center.
Annah was so rude. After we dropped 125$ in this place. We will never return again.
Anthonella did a great job!
Great people Great food
Amazing 10 out of 10
OPEN....OPEN.........OPPPPEEEEENNNNNN!!!!!!
Melissa behind the bar was excellent! Friendly & Attentive.
I recently visited with a large party of children and our server, Azul, was so accommodating to all of our requests. Management checked in on us regularly and we had such a great time!
Food was good service (waiter) was great. This is the second time I've been. But first time to eat. Probably the last. Food was good but I noticed the food handlers didn't have gloves on so I ask wait why not. He pointed me to manger. The manager said she been busy and told them from the table I was at and he. Went and talked to them. We're i could hear every word. Tell them I was the one to complain about it and told him to put gloves on for the moment. We then went and play games and then I noticed that
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
