Customer Reviews

It was just like i remembered it 15 years ago just a little downsized I guess since covid, however the food and hospitality as always was and is amazing! They even played the Knicks game on almost all the monitors. Unfortunately the kicks that Game 3 but the energy in D&B felt like we were right outside the Garden!

Amazing service! We had ALISON as our server?? and she was a pleasure. She was super helpful, personable, and efficient. Both myself and a friend had the Steak bowls, made exactly to our specifications. We came to celebrate my brothers birthday, and all had a great time over all. Thanks again Alison ??

I really enjoy visiting this location a great place to spend with my kids. Service is great and atmosphere is perfect.! The attention and service from Rob was top notch. I went in to spend my bday with my kids and my balloons flew up to the ceiling. His response was I got you! Within a few minutes manager got them for me. It's the little things that count! But aside from that he constantly came over to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything. Highly recommend this location.

I was there for a work event. our server Kevin was amazing and very attentive. We had a private room for business and then enjoyed the remainder of our day!!! This is a great time for both kids and adults. There is also a bar in the center of room for drinks.

Hey there! Let me tell you all about Dave & Buster's, the ultimate destination for a great time! When you step into Dave & Buster's, get ready to be blown away by their incredible arcade. They have a wide selection of games that cater to all ages and interests. From classic arcade games like Pac-Man and Skee-Ball to cutting-edge virtual reality experiences, there's something for everyone to enjoy. But it doesn't stop there! Dave & Buster's also knows how to keep the good times flowing with their awesome se

Great time at Dave and Busters. Went early enough in the day that there was no one around and drinks/food came fast. Wasn't too bad of an old fashioned but the food held us over to play a few games for the next hour. If you have some time and want to play some of the newer arcade games, stop by the Palisades.

Last weekend I participated in a Make-A-Wish fundraiser that Dave & Busters sponsored and the staff was an amazing help! The manager, Lauren, is so positive and attentive! Thank you for helping Wishes Come True for the kids!!!

The food was really good, I won enough tickets to get a free appetizer and it was worth it the cheese stick stack was very good and Derek was very nice and the atmosphere was well dave and busters ??. The games were fun and the only reason I have 4 stars, I would?ve given 4.5 if I could but it was because it felt like they made the giant claw machine for tickets way to rigged. To sum it up though it was a great time.

Had a good experience. Look at my nacho meal!!! Holy cow! I did not eat anything the rest of the day! It's very spacious, so don't have to be close to others when playing games. Pretty clean. Would recommend. A little costly though, for food and games.

Service was a bit slow and 1 drink + mozzarella sticks was 30 bucks but I guess that's to be expected, also the cheapest you can play the games for is 25 bucks for only 100 points (some games cost 5 or 6 for one play) that's only like 20 games for 25 bucks. We left after coughing up 30 bucks for a drink and 5 mozzarella sticks

We went early on a Saturday and it was the perfect time. There were only a few kids in there and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The place is HUGE and quite possibly the nicest D&B I've ever been to

Dave and Busters once had decent food, it wasn't a top notch restaurant but it was tolerable. I brought my family out for a day of food and gaming and the gaming area did not disappoint. Honestly there gaming area is better than a day at chucky cheese. But my god the food was horrid. First the seltzer water tasted as if it was drinking Lysol or fabuloso (it had this chemically taste to it) I had to ask for another drink, the dinner ware on the tables had actually old food stains on it, the food it self arr

Everyone had a great time playing games to win prizes! I guess that's what it's all about. Just skip the food! Happy hour was ok not a lot drinks to choose from. The regular drinks were so much better! The kids had a blast!

Service was VERY light. The barbecue chicken tasted fowl. The rest of the food was good.

I've been here during a Saturday night when it was completely packed & I've also been here on a Thursday evening when it was practically empty. Both times were great experiences with friendly staff, clean bathrooms and delicious food! I highly recommend the loaded tater tots & the chicken lettuce avocado tacos!

Had a birthday party recently and received above and beyond service. From booking with Cassandra Davis and care even after our event from Cassondra Jeffcoat, I must say it was refreshing to receive such personal help. Kevin, was the perfect waiter. This is a great team and THANK YOU, @

Really nice place. Very big place not usually crowded which I'm surprised. Very big booths. Nice thing is you get lots of tickets from each game you play. Very good service. Also a clean place

Waited too long for second order. Bar tenders not really service forward. I'm sure the air pods make it hard to hear people and maybe that's why it took so long to get either one of thier attention. ????? they refuse to ask kitchen for pickle juice for shots and avoiding eye contact with all guests. Maybe they are over worked. Idk.

Def very fun for the whole family

Nice place.. big! Big big TVs! Food was great! Burgers, chicken sandwich, fries. A few mixed drinks. Games area and games are awesome. Very large area reminds me of a large casino- so cool! Service on food was a little slow. We had a change in servers..someone on break? Both servers were friendly and helpful. Big 8th birthday party going on behind us . We had no issues with the party or kids. Just noting in review. Nice clientele.. good vibes. My wife and teen kids and I had a great time. I live an hour an

No one at dining area to seat you had to wave someone when I asked bartender someone was supposed to be at area in front to seat you horrible and food portions very small burger greasy soaking in it's juices barely warm when I received it DO NIT EAT HERE ONLY GET DRINKS ??

Huge location. They have every imaginable game and then some. Great place to watch sports on the many huge TVs.

Great place for family entertainment. Saw several people celebrating their birthdays with family.

Kids had a great time while we sat around and enjoyed the music and drinks. D&D is the perfect place get the kids to have fun and dinner at the same place.

Great atmosphere and an awesome staff. We had a work event here one time and it turned out great. After working long hours, it's great to unwind with arcade games, drinks, and good food.

They really need to update their prizes and or make better drinks that have less ice in them. I love coming here, but it becomes such a waste of money and time when it's so unrewarding for what you pay for. The games are definitely the most fun but if I wanna order a drink I shouldn't be paying $15 for ice

Went above and beyond My waiters ROB and MIKE were Super attentive the hospitality is Superb That's why I drive all the way from NYC and come here to eat all the time.

We visited the Dave & Buster's in nyack. and had a really good time. The drinks were good, and the overall atmosphere was lively and fun. Perfect for a night out!

They have their happy hour posters all over the place but when you get to the bar they tell you they no longer offer those promotions

I've been to several Dave & Buster?s locations and like this one the best. The bathrooms were well kept and very clean. The food was good and the waiter was great. We ordered food from the menu that allowed to purchase either a $10 or $20 playing card. I think we go too often, perhaps expanding the menu or switching the items depending on the day of the week to give frequent visitors more options. I went with my kids and elderly parents. They enjoyed it very much even at their ages of 78 and 89.

Dave & Buster's is a fun spot for a night out with friends or family. They have a wide variety of games, including the Mario Kart GP DX arcade game. The Mario Kart game is a highlight, as it allows you to race against your friends on a giant screen and even includes some unique features not found in the console versions.?? The food and drinks are also solid, with a wide selection of options to choose from. The atmosphere is lively and energetic, with music and games everywhere you look.?? However, it can

Rob was great ! Came to eat before playing with my 5 year old and rob was so helpful with food and drink options and very attentive! Clean restaurant!

Unexpectedly really good food. I've been coming here for years and have loved the games and drinks, but recently had the Salmon bowl and it was so unbelievably good. Well portioned and and amazing quality, no fishiness whatsoever! I've had their appetizers and more 'fast-food' style meals before and they've never been disappointing, just a bit basic run of the mill fast food. The appetizers are solid and was really surprised by almost everything I've tried. My only complaint would be the volume level in the

I have been to six different Dave and Buster's through the years and this one is the best. It has the largest amount and most diversified arcade games compared to the other locations around this area. The location itself is also much larger with massive dining areas and an arcade room nearly twice the size of the NYC and Woodbridge locations. Easy to spend several hours here with friends or family!

great atmosphere my kids and I had lots of fun

Incomparable to the D&B at Boston and NYC but still a pretty good one with all sorts of games. I experienced machines malfunction several times so I'm giving a 2 stars rating for it. There weren't enough staff on the floor who I could call and ask for assistance. It's not cool to swipe your card and loose some chips and then leave the machine looking for assistance.

Good arcade for the kids, multiple TVs to watch sports. Food is average.

I brought my son on a Tuesday for his birthday to play games. The manager and his staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was well maintained and clean, including the bathroom. We had a great time!

Oh my god. I've never had such a tasty hamburger in my whole life. I can't wait to come back. Definitely a TOP Dave's and Busters location, I've never had such good food anywhere. There are also the pool tables. Amazing

We had a good time playing some games but left after less than an hour, it was too many people and not a lot of people cleaning up around the arcade area, we still going through COVID and a lot of people were too close to each other. We had an even worse experience when we went to get my son a toy and transfer the tickets all to one card. The staff at the registers were miserable, they looked over worked and weren't very friendly to the Customers! Then the manager was even worse! His name was Griffin (Satur

We went back today for a 2nd year in a row Breakfast with Santa & so happy once again. Exceptional customer service. Great food and atmosphere the kids Love it.

Your experience here will depend on when you choose to go. My friends and I went Dave & Buster's on a Tuesday afternoon. Because of this, we had the whole venue to ourselves, minus a couple of other people. Conversely, I've been to this venue Saturday night and it was filled with party groups and I found myself waiting on games I wanted to play. Friendly staff and a fun selection of arcade games.

Edit: The young woman with the tattoos who seems to be a manager at this establishment really ruined our latest visit. We had trouble with one of the machines and the young man called the manager and we waited a very long time for her to show up. When she did, she was not friendly at all and just stared at me as if I had done something wrong. She proceeded to just swipe her card for us, which defeated the purpose of playing at all since there were no tickets being awarded. This may appease kids under the ag

One of the biggest D&B I've ever been too! So many games to choose from! I wish I could call this my hometown D&B. I would be here all the time. They have a huge beautiful park along with about 8-12 pool tables [sorry I didnt actually count]. We went at a pretty dead time. Which was 12pm on a tuesday so there was literally maybe 25 people there. Which i wont lie was really cool. But i could totally see this place getting packed. Would highly recommend!

Fun place for family to play and eat during the day and for adults at night. Kids are not allowed in after a certain hour. The food is not so bad. If you don't like it or want something less expensive, there are numerous choices in the mall that are close by. It can get quite expensive to play in the arcade but the young and young-at-heart will enjoy the variety including a virtual reality dinosaur hunt. They have a party room for special events. Plus billiard tables and a bar are nice amenities for adults.

Love to come here with friends and family every other Wednesday for 50% off games! Always a clean atmosphere, great atmosphere and good selection of games!

Dave & Buster's offers a fun mix of arcade games, sports viewing, and casual dining. It's great for groups, though it can get crowded. The food is good, but the games are the real draw. Prices can add up, but it's worth it for a lively, entertaining night out.

It's 2.79 for an hour of pool on Wednesdays! Steal of a deal. Arcades are fun as well especially when your with a group. Surprisingly, you can actually win some pretty decent stuff in the prize section which was kinda shocking as most places you win 50,000 tickets and you get a little bouncy ball. We walked out with a beer mug, a shot glass, some teddy bears, and some candy. Pretty awesome!

We had such a great time at this location! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Lauren was the sweetest and was helpful to us when we walked up to the front desk. The other staff member at the front desk was also so kind and attentive. Both of them made our day! :)

Food is good, service was great. The big screen TV?s and game room is awesome.

Always great vibes. Most machines work been going there with the kids for several years. Good times and lots of games. The virtual is great too

Great time and lots of laughs. They have improved the games and game prices significantly since last I was here (which has been years!) We went on a Monday so there was never a wait for any games. The VR games/ride was my first of many more - I enjoyed it too much (think I may be addicted, lol). I got the steak salad with blue cheese crumbles. The meat was cooked perfectly but the quality of meat was sub par. Also, the lettuce was a bit wilted but overall not too shabby.

Had a birthday party here. Service was amazing. Food was fair- although the chicken wings were great! Overall a great party. I give 3 stars because the food should be better for the price you pay and there shouldn't be a space rental fee when you book a party.

Had a great time at the arcade. Then i had the BBBacon burger. Delicious??. They have screens with all different sports games on. Fun for everyone.

One of the best Dave and Buster's we've been to. Lots of games, lots of space. Pool tables and space to eat in a separate section from the games. Accessibility: each section is on its own level, there's ramps or elevators to get to each area. There's a fair amount of space between each game, enough to fit a wheelchair or other mobility aid, but it can get super crowded. The games themselves are largely inaccessible to someone who cannot stand/sit at them. Lots of flashing lights and noise from both the ga

Definitely a great experience. However, servers could have been more attentive to customers needs , we had to go to the staff area to ask for refills and they were readily available most of the time.

It was a very enjoyable trip. Very clean, well kept and organized. The kids and adults had a lot of fun, I would recommend it for all ages. Can you entertain for many hours ????

Bbq Ribs was tender and awesome. The cornbread and baked beans were good. The mac and cheese was Soso. The bbq salmon was dry. The bbq chicken, the chicken was on steroids, ridiculously big pieces. The string beans with bacon was also a treat. It was a union event that was buffet style so options were good.

We've always had a great time at dinner when eating either in the Palisades location or the location in Pelham. This weekend, we held a family party at the Palisades location and all I can say is WOW. Everything was a smooth sail - from securing the party room with Alyssa and Mariah, from getting to the location and having Lauren, Mari and Patricia completely run the behind the scenes - I am an event planner and this staff, led by Manager Jaime was incredible. The apps came out on time, the food was hot

Is a great place to go and take the kids to play their video games and have something to eat. We enjoyed it

Depends on what you're going there for. I just wound up there at an odd time looking for a light meal, and they had a decent option for me. Service was great, food was good. And if you're there for a good time with a group and or to watch some sports ball, it is probably a real good time.

Didn't order anything crazy so it was good. Had a few drinks while kiddos played some games maybe played a few myself lol nice spot for a nite out.

Very accommodating for large parties. Great place for kids and sports fans. Awesome service and food. Always a great time here!

We always love to go to dave & buster's. but now they change the game..we went to celebrate my son's birthday and now if you get there after 5pm if order your food you don't get the card to play you need to buy separately, if you want to try the VR you need to paid extra $6 for each person. so if you go to Dave and Buster's prepared to expend easily $150 to $200. wait is only one game worth playing is connect 4 hoop.

Lively atmosphere of the game room and/or pool tables with good food and beverages.

My husband and my friends kid both got food poisoning from the burgers.

Most of the games were extremely laggy or completely broken and unplayable. The atmosphere was great and people were nice and respectful. There was an employee at the ticket redemption area that could have fixed her attitude. She looks like she really hates her job, but that's no reason to take it out on the consumers. She did not do anything directly to me, but just seeing her interacting with the other people with just this brooding face and smart remarks, I noticed people were going to other person to re

This review is for the Sports Bar only. Black Friday, party of 3, got seated in front of the 3 Large TV screens to watch the Knicks game. It was pretty much empty besides 1 or 2 large parties. So prepare to wait if you need anything or even putting in your first order. We didn't mind because the games on. By the time you put your order in for drinks, they'll come out separately or not at all. Having to wait 10 mins+ for a drink is absurd. Better off going to yard house, those guys are hard working and atten

I've gone to Dave and Buster numerous times. This location is very different in a good way. Everything was better. The food tasted better. The space was in abundance. Easy to move around the tables, the game floor was wide. Facilities clean through and through. No odor or wet/sticky floor in the bathroom. I am very pleased with this location because what I have already experienced at Dave & Buster I was getting ready to put them on the Chuck E cheese list to be a do not go location. But now that this locat

The place was lit and the services were superb. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. We were there as a Company team for some get together with other folks from South & North New York. The place is spacious, the customer service is great, and the food is ok. I have everything good to say about this place for public events.

Always great to bring friends or family. If you have young children the games room will keep them busy. Good food. Clean bathrooms and restaurant. The staff are so helpful and friendly.

The fun started as soon as we walked in. The Hostesses were the sweetest and helped understand the process as it was out first time at Dave & Busters! I had an amazing time, thanks to them!

It is so nice experience to have fun.. Eat and enjoy your time

We love this place for fun. Not a fan of the food. You can never find help with broken games and there are always broken games. And if it's 80? or more outside than inside will be uncomfortable.

Really liked this Dave & Busters. It wasn't too crowded for a Saturday night and it is kept nice and clean. There are staff members going around cleaning the machines. There doesn't seem to be missing stuff to the games. Like ex: the basketball game had enough basketballs and I'm not standing there waiting for the balls to come back down. Had a great time!

Dave & Busters is an amazing place for friends and family to get together.

I recently visited Dave & Buster's with a group of coworkers, excited to unwind and enjoy some drinks after a long day. Unfortunately, my experience took an unexpected turn that left me extremely disappointed with the level of customer service provided by the manager, Donna, and her coworker, Tim. As someone who is clearly of legal drinking age at 25, I was enjoying my alcoholic beverage and engaging in conversation with my coworkers when the manager approached me. She asked for my ID, and, unfortunately,

I recently visited Dave and Busters with a group of friends and had a great time. The atmosphere was lively and fun, with plenty of games and activities to keep us entertained for hours. One of the highlights of our visit was the food - everything we ordered was delicious and well-prepared. From the appetizers to the entrees, we were impressed with the quality and variety of the menu. However, I have to deduct one star from my review because we encountered some issues with the pool table we were playing o

Last week we went here for the very first time. Well it was nice having the place pretty much to ourselfs since it was a weekday and afternoon. But the staff was not very friendly they was like annoyed that we was there. Even the waitress was not very nice at all. I asked for a lemonade and ended up with a mixed drink.

We came here as a family to celebrate my Brother in laws birthday. I can honestly tell you that the service was less than mediocre. We were a party of 8 and we were hardly checked up upon. The dining room wasn't even full. We had a waitress come over who wasn't even dealing with us and stated that we asked for the check. We never did, later on the original waitress Jada without even asking if we needed to order dessert was ready to give us the check as well. We were rushed, I am still trying to figure

My family and I went to this location yesterday for the arcade and decided to eat dinner there. Two of the children?s meals we had ordered came out pretty fast. The rest of the food took a long time to come out. My husband?s meal came with a basket of fries but they were cold. He told the server, who was holding another customer?s entree that had another basket of fries, that his were cold. the server put her hand in between the wax paper and the metal basket to try and feel the temperature and put her han

If you want to avoid the crowds that typically arrive after 2p, go early. We arrived about an hour after opening and the kids got to play their hearts out. Most of the activities were opened (for immediate play), with a few waits. The energy was nice from the other patrons (my kids were even given extra tips by a departing couple). The only thing that I didn't care for was at check out (when the kids get to pick their treats), the rep was short when speaking to us and rushed back to viewing his phone (befo

I went in late August for a birthday. We had about 8 people with us. We ordered food and that took a while. 30 minutes later, only one of our meals came out. Another 30 or so minutes passed and the rest of the food still hadn't arrived. In total, I think about an hour and ten minutes had passed when we finally got our food. They need to step up their service.

i have been taking my kids here for yesrs!! as inlooked st their nee menu i saw the flat bread pizza! well kt was NOT flat bread it was Boboli pizza crust from local supermarket! the food was disgusting and since it was loke 17.99 for a small flat bread we forces ourselves to eat it!! on too of that sitting at the bar it took 10-15 mins for a bartender to get 2 beers for us! not the bartenders fault but having one bartender with 25 people at the bar is poor management! out of the 12 yrs ive been coming her

I love the fries and we only asked for one order and got all of these

Very large D&B. It has games that we haven't seen before. I would like to see a better selection of items to choose from the points redemption area. Other wise, it's a good place to eat and have some fun.

Great place to bring young kids. Half price Wednesdays are the best especially during school vacations. Plenty of toys and the claw machines actually give you prizes. All around a must go to if you have kids under 10.

I love to go there for a outing at night. Nice and clean place.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
