We have had a couple of end of the season parties for our soccer team at Dave and Busters. Both times have been perfect! The team there always does a fantastic job of taking care of the group. The kids have a great time playing games, eating and playing more games ??! It's the perfect setup, gives the parents a chance to catch up with each other and the kids to spend some time together off the field. Highly recommend and appreciate the team at D&B!! Thank you
We recently purchased one of their summer game passes and what a value for your dollar! Have taken my kids multiple times and they have played as much as they want for no additional cost. Their food is always amazing and the staff is super friendly! Definitely recommend!
This place is great to take kids and your friends to hang out, have drinks, play games, and have a lot of fun! The food is pretty good for an arcade. Service was pretty quick for us too! The atmosphere is awesome. It feels like you are in space and there are just games around that you can play! Overall, great place to hang out with friends and family.
Greeted by friendly hostess when we walked in but unfortunately that was the last bit of friendliness we would get. We had a group of 7, we got the private dart area for $35 an hour. Our server finally came over and made me feel like she was being inconvenienced by us being there, I asked for my wings to be well done or extra crispy and was told, "I can try, but I can't guarantee anything", I don't understand how a customer asks for their food a certain way and that's the response they get?? Our tables were
Went to celebrate my kids bday party there, gave them all cards and let them do their thing. Adults hit the bar. If you've never been, you gotta try this spot out.
Our family loves coming to Dave & Busters and this is by far the best location to go to! The staff is always super friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure we are all having a great experience. The food is great too! I highly recommend taking your family here or for a fun date night.
Took my kids to Dave & Busters today and had a blast. The food was great and the service was awesome. Cynthia, the operations manager, greeted us when we sat down and Drew (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly) was great as our server. She was clearly busy with large groups and still got to us with pretty quick. Cynthia and Drew, my daughter thanks you both for the panda!
The manager, Nathan, and my server, Drew, were wonderful! Drew is always a pleasure when we come here with my family and Nathan always check in to ensure we are having a good evening. Thank you Dave n Busters team!
We came here to celebrate my sons middle school promotion. I'm not sure if having fithy menus is a requirement but this is the second Dave and Busters that I've gone and gotten disgusting menus sticky and a horrible smell so I went to the restroom to was my hands and it wasn't any better, aside from that our server was great food was just ok I ordered cajin wings they were tough, I also ordered the ribeye that was a little better but I think the beef quality was low grade but then again this place isn't a s
The service is and has been awful. I only have given it multiple chances because my kids want to mix up what they do. Multiple times I have been here and have waited 30+ minutes to have a server. I have bartenders l, while I am sitting at the bar ignore me and others. They lack a variety for vegetarian, when they used to have more. Never seen positive attitude or proactive approach from any employee. At this point, this is a management issue and will never enter this establishment again.
Not a big D&Bs. Great mix of arcade games but this location does not have all the fun stuff (no human crane, etc ..). Food was good and service was quick. Not too busy when we were there mid-week.
I recently visited Dave & Buster's with my family for the first time. Although we didn't dine there, we thoroughly enjoyed our time playing arcade games. The overall experience was excellent. The process of loading credits onto a card was straightforward, making it convenient to access the games. They offer a diverse selection of games suitable for a wide range of ages. I highly recommend Dave & Buster's for a fun-filled outing.
The best place for family fun, games, sports, drinks and food. First I want to start off with the strawberry margarita and strawberry pureed ice cubes absolutely delicious! The food was pretty tasty we had the cheese steak, chicken, pizza for the kiddo and garlic Parmesan fries. (We really want you guys to add Oreo shakes to your menu). The games are still as fun as ever. We loved the hungry hippo classic game, and the VR experience. Lastly, the big daddy chocolate cake and the strawberry shortcake are a fa
II went to the arcade with my kids, but the game cards I received were not working. It took 45 minutes after asking the manager to get a refund for what I paid. The manager did the right thing by giving me credit on a different card, but he could have done that from the beginning instead of making my kids and me wait so long. In the end, my kids were happy, which is why I am giving this rating.
What a wonderful first time experience, my husband and I visited the Thousand Oaks location and we were greeted by Marlon who completely made the experience Wonderful , we wanted to spend some time with our niece and nephew. He gave us a tour of the place and kind of gave us some insight on everything that Dave & Buster?s entailed And had us all play one game together as to kick off our experience. very pleased, five stars all around with the staff, the food and the atmosphere .
Our first time to this Dave & Busters and it was overall a great experience. Every aspect of this place five stars except for the overall rating. I'm ratingthis place at three, because the one and only reason we had decided to go was for the virtual reality games. When we arrived, the lady in front took our payment for the virtual reality games and we proceeded to go in, ate lunch and once we were ready to play, as we were looking around, we couldn't find the virtual reality game we went there to play. The
Great experience Everyone had a great time from Kids to adults. If u have sensitive kiddos bring headphones. It was so helpful kiddo went from a bit overwhelmed by all the excitement to jumping all in. Staff was wonderful and totally patient and helpful ???? several employees come to mind wish I could remember all their names here is a shout out to one in particular whom recognized I had special needs kiddos with me and he went the extra mile to include and check in on us. Thank you Marlin ?????????
Update: visited again 4/16 It was super packed, had a good time playing games and eating some appetizers. I really like their pretzel dogs. We sat at fhe bar and were attended right away. We ordered the chicken tenders with fries and were overfilled with disappointment. I've had way better tenders from an Ihop or Dennys, but whatever slices of meat that were on the plate shouldn't have never left the kitchen... First review: came on a lonely Tuesday Parking is right outside the building. Pretty much had th
We had scheduled a birthday party with a total price of $350. However, we were later billed $475. When we inquired about the discrepancy, we were told that the package had been automatically upgraded to include unlimited games, resulting in the higher charge. After some discussion, they eventually adjusted the bill to reflect the original agreed-upon price The question is why did they do that?
We have the winter season pass. My son lost his card and all his tickets, and the General Manager went above and beyond to help resolve the situation in a really smart and creative way. Thank you for making this a fun and safe place to hang out!
I haven't been to a Dave n Buster's since I was in high school in 2005.......I was thrilled to have a good time here in 1000 oaks....good atmosphere and I love the fact that you have many options and variety of games. . Very spacious and good atmosphere. Love getting tickets virtually. It's been definitely a long time since I had been at DB. 5 stars cuz I have no complaints and or been no problems ...... You guys rock ,definitely sending you some more people......
Great time with friends. Laughed and enjoyed the games. A good amount of multiplayer games which was the best part. The cost to round up and buy tickets though is RIDICULOUSLY bad. Everything else was super fun. Had a great time. Food was good. Not amazing but good.
Came here Sunday with my sister and her son. It was my first time here and i enjoyed the games. After we played some games (They looked brand new and no issues with them which is a plus) we found out that we're able to use our points we accumulated for food. We used our points to grab two free boneless chicken wings and headed towards the dining restaurant inside of Dave & Busters. There's a section called ICY SIPS which cost an average $5 up and the photo that displayed it was not like the final product. W
Want to go and get your country on? Dave and Buster?s has the huge dance floor, the DJ, and Janice who makes learning the line dances ( at least most of them) simple. The servers are attentive, and the food is half off if ordered through through the Dave and Buster?s app. The waitress will even walk you through using the app. There is a huge arcade and looks like there are tv?s dedicated to sports outside of the dance area. We go for the best dancing spot in the county! The people are nice, the dancin is go
The guy at the counter didn't know know to Split the check for a game card. Even with 75 dollars on the card and playing as hard as we can for tickets all we can afford wad the small level of candy. I know arcades are rigged but to that extreme is crazy.
Went here for date night August 2021. We had a blast. Great food and drinks. Plenty of games for adults and kids. The only thing is now, you have to look at the menu and order from your phone. You also pay when ordering, not after. My S.O. and I were looking at the menu on separate phones and ordered from them so we had to pay separately. If you want to pay it all on one tab, order from one phone. Have a great time!!!!!
Came from a long long drive.. drove over a hour to get to Northridge location only to not be able to get in. So so so lucky my kids checked on thousand oaks rules and ended up driving maybe another 40mins or so to this location? It's smaller then Northridge but considering how busy they were the food came super quick! The waitress came regularly to refill our waters we ordered a whole bunch of appetizers and the kids in general had a great time! Thanks for the rescue you guys! we were almost disappointed
It's a shame that the food is so bad here. The atmosphere is electric! But the restaurant is usually low on servers so waiting to place drinks and food takes longer than most places. Sit at the bar if you don't want to wait. This place is awesome for sporting events. Food is blah.
We got there early ish...after 4 pm I was bummed out of not being given the happy hour option for food. The food was super delicious just took a bit to get out. Wish I would've ordered cocktail drinks But overall I always have a great time playing games and Wednesday is 1/2 off all day.
I took my kids here and the arcade games were fun and entertaining, they also enjoyed the games and prizes they won, but the service at the food area were horrible, the servers were walking everywhere, talking to each other and just standing behind the cashier drinking soda, literally doing anything but taking orders, they passed by tables who were still waiting, the service is terrible, I hope next time I visit they will do their job better.
The whole team is very nice. The food came out hot and tasty, we also ordered drinks that came out perfect to the taste. Everything was a great experience. Priscilla and the bar crew made me and my family happy for the wonderful service.
I am from Arizona and I was trying to get a drink from here and I'm well over the age of 21 and if you don't know the Arizona ID color Just updated to black and white. This so called new manager was trying to say my id was fake because of the color!! If you're from Arizona and got your ID updated to black-and-white I would not recommend coming here Because obviously they Aren't even educated. Ridiculous
Well what can I say. This place is amazing!!!! I had my son's 7th BIRTHDAY party here on March 9th and it was awesome. Not only did my son have a great time all the guests had an adventurous time playing and redeeming tickets earned for prizes. The staff goes above and beyond, two of 4 servers stand out COLLIN AND DANIEL. Collin was amazing with my son and everyone. One of my guests took a picture of Collin going out of his way to play with my son when my son was asking him questions. As a parent this is
I had a really fun time when I came here yesterday!! While it is an arcade, it's not like your chuckle cheese, it's an arcade that's built for all ages even young adults and teenagers can have fun playing it without feeling embarrassed. They have a full restraunt inside as well! It seems good but I haven't been in there yet. The employees are very friendly and helpful! And the prizes are downright useful and funny! I got a phone holder for 1300 tickets and it's literally the funniest thing I've gotten in a
Dave & Buster's has finally come to Thousand Oaks Ventura area. It's been around since 1982 back in Austin Texas. But my first experience with it was in Denver Colorado when my kids were young. Dave & Buster's is the adult arcade on steroids. This version of Dave's and Buster's is no exception. It comes with all the video games you remember from your childhood and more. They've adapted video games movies and even small games that we played as children and our children play his children to make them fun ways
Food was so so (family had some kind of bacon burger, Fish & Chips and a kids burger)...my fish was tasty, light and flacky, the bacon burger wasn't anything special, and sadly my son could barely eat his burger...just didn't like the taste. Drinks were decent...the games were A LOT of fun! Some of the prizes were reasonably "priced" and some were 4+ times the price if you bought it off Amazon. We will be going back but will be eating else where before we go!
This place is so fun and top games to play with family or just have drinks & watch a game on many screens while your kids play fun games ... And the staff are very kind & helpful. Thank you for giving us a great experience
Had a great time. Special should out to Michelle at the bar. Really great service. Made my wife?s birthday special. Thanks to Nick W. For the taking the time to talk to us
We held a birthday party for my niece that turned 5 here. Staff was really accommodating and friendly to our needs, even though we had not made previous reservations. Definitely enjoyed it and am grateful that they made it happen.
It offers a spacious entertainment hub with arcade games, virtual reality experiences, billiards, and a large bar area with numerous TVs, perfect for catching sports events. It's a family-friendly spot known for tasty food and drinks, such as burgers, flatbreads, and wings. The staff receives praise for their attentive service, making it an excellent choice for both adults and kids.
I've been doing half price games on Wednesday lately and it's been amazing. Coming here with the kids gives us a change to grow up together and share that arcade feel I had growing up. They've also introduce some healthier options for food which is more than exciting. This location is larger than others, you won't be disappointed! Plentiful parking.
It was better before the remodel. And no sound on the fights kinda makes watching them at your place pointless. We used to have sound & better seats / seating. Blah
We had a great time at Dave & Buster's in Thousand Oaks, California. My power card is actually working since we went to Northridge last Sunday because of the system was shut down. The food and the dessert are very delicious. I enjoyed a fun time at Dave & Buster's. #DINGDINGDING
I had a great time... I really liked that they have group packages. Lots of parking space. The restroom were clean. Great place to take the family.
Server disappeared toward the end of our lunch. Waited way too long to pay and finally had to pay at the bar. The other servers should have noticed we were done. It was quite obvious. We tried to signal one of them over, but it was like we were invisible. It was not busy. There should be a policy that the servers assist whatever table looks like they need something; like Cronies.
Reason for visiting: nephew's 12th birthday party Date/time of visit: Friday early evening, ~4:00 PM Parking: in the adjacent lot, shared with other businesses Party size: 16, mostly kids 12 and under Environment/ambience: loud and fun. Games everywhere. Restaurant and bar inside. All kinds of games. Clean restrooms, with a family room too. Pretty clean inside; large space. Mixed crowd goes here, races and ages. Ticket redemption place to pick out your prizes. Service: the restaurant service was great. Frie
We went during the quiet time of the day. Very fun place. Clean. I know busy times it can be quite loud.
Decent food and good vibes but the drinks are weak and they took away guitar hero. Was a 4 before they took away guitar hero. Bring back guitar hero.
By far and away the cleanest and most efficient D&B we have been to. We visit them all over the country and this is our favorite location, and are always treated like family from arrival. The food is consistent and the games are maintained. Amazing place for family weekends.
Same here I love the vibe love all the video screens!
Fun but expensive I recommend you go on wednesday when it's half off otherwise it's not worth it. You can also go online and get Dave and Buster's discounted gift cards to save. It's like 20 dollars for 10-12 games. Also virtual reality was 6 dollars it's over priced on non-wednesdays. Don't go on weekends or non-wednesdays. It's fun otherwise highly recommended, the food is okay but definitely better then any other arcades food.
Went as a group and the person assigned to us disappeared. Then the food never came out. The bar staff was great though
The staff was very sweet and super helpful for an event I hosted. Very grateful for them and hope we can do it again!
This is truly a great place thanks to the bar manager named Cynthia. I'd like to thank her personally. This place couldn't survive without her. Someone else was trying to make a $2000.00 bet on the Tyson fight, and I advised her due to it being illegal in CA to gamble, and she set it straight for all parties involved, and saved someone from getting royally ripped off, with cash, and corrected our tab. Thank you Cynthia, and Dave and Busters, and all involved to cancel this illegal operation and transactio
No low table accessible options all tables are up to chin height for someone in a wheelchair . Do better.
Fun Family Atmosphere! What a great addition to Thousand Oaks. The food was very good, and a value when combined with a Power Play combo. Great prices on beer, as well. ($4.75 Mich Ultra). The staff was cheerful and helpful across the board, and the venue was kept very clean ... especially for a busy arcade setting. Even the "prizes" were a better quality than expected and within reach of moderate points. Mostly families in attendance on a Wednesday night... not a rowdy crowd at all. Big screen sports TVs i
Just an update. Its been 2 years later. They have new games. Amazing. I always go here whenever im visiting with my nephew. Love it here. See u guys again in a couple months. ?????- Old review: Went with my nephew and my big bro and was amazed at how clean it was! Even ate at the restaurant and the staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs! 10/10!
I was overly stimulated it's a lot going on but I'm glad I got out.. definitely spent more than I wanted or expected but overall ??
Didn't try any food but with this place having food inside is definitely good! Love the experience a lot of game to choose from
Been here a few times before and now after all this craziness. Always had an awesome time. Is what it is a giant arcade, with food and alcohol. I've brought my 12yr old son and his buds. Been here for Date night. Always good service, good food, good times. Embrace don't disgrace
Garlic parmesan cheese curds are a amazing. There are lots of games, lots of television screens, an abundance of seating. It's also really loud and there isn't much shade on the parking lot.
Amazing , despite having to search for our server and the only bathroom being in the far back. The entertainment and environment is perfect.
I've been here twice so far and service always seems to be slow at their restaurant. Both times it was not busy and it felt like the waiters don't want to work. The last time I went, I asked for a coffee and the waitress forgot, I had to ask her two more times before she brought it. The third time I reminded her - she made a face. When she brought it, it was cold and I was almost done with my meal. I hesitated to say anything about the cold coffee because of the face she made. ?? Other than that, this is a
Where should I even start, my first mistake was not checking the arcade before purchasing a card because it was awful. 80 percent of the games were not even ticket based games they were just simulations or games that reached the limit of 100 tickets as the jackpot. It was so boring and, of course, all the games were rigid, and there was one that was broken and only gave me 10 tickets instead of 200. After spending 50 dollars, we got one keychain, we only got 800 tickets which you really can't buy anything f
The kids had fun. The place is way overpriced, but fun.
Dave and Busters Thousand Oaks is honestly a really good place to go if you want to have fun. You have many TVs that surround the food area and great food that actually fills you up. My friend and I came one day to have a drink and eat and had this lovely server named Bianca who made sure to always be there for us and come with a smile. She made sure to check up and help us if we needed something. The new menu was out and she made the greatest recommendations. I could have not asked for a better server ??.
The food was nothing great. Appeared to just be reheated food. Nacho chips were stale and sauce was bland. The server was very nice, but it took 15 minutes to even be asked about our drinks. She apologized for the poor service noting they overloaded her area in a short amount of time. Might try it again, but we will see.
Their food was delicious and their games were so fun! I recommend going there!!
The food here is amazing I would seriously come here just to eat. The mozzarella sticks were so delicious. The marinara sause was a perfect match. The fries where great and then the pizza. Oh the pizza was great to. I'm not often satisfied after eating, but I can say that I was 100 percent satisfied. Looking forward to my next visit. Praise the cooks and our server Denaya. The arcade was also much bigger than any I have seen anywhere else. Love this place.
Love this place! Definitely hard to beat, it's like Chuck E Cheese for adults. What's not to like?
One of our go-to spots for nom noms before or after a show... food n drink always hits the spot... typical bar food... but I love their crispy cauliflower... but this particular visit, our server sucked... don't remember her name cuz we literally only saw her once when she took our order... we had to go to the bar to ask for water n drink refills... I had to ask someone else for a to go box... oh but when we got off the table to walk to the bathroom we finally saw her running after us to ask for a credit ca
Got to enjoy one (or two) ??drinks for Super Bowl. As always the service was great, thanks to all the staff that were attentive &. Cheerful that made the night all more enjoyable and relaxing. Thx.
absolute trash experience!! The server with the crazy looking fake freckles was absolutely incompetent it's actually wild she can hold a job of any sort!! I was letting her incompetence slide but she was so rude for literally no reason. I also work in the service so I try EXTRA hard to be nice because I get it sometimes it's just not your day but maybe she should have called out or quit like awful experience! She got our order wrong TWICE. She apologized the first time she brought out extra drinks the table
The lost of my 5th start is due to the lack of service of our waitress Mikaela. Not checking on our food once upon arrival. Not providing my menu when asked. Games and prices are fine. The cheesecake was very small portion and not with a Graham cracker crust.
The staff was friendly. Our server was the best. The food was actually good. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations for a place like this, but I had a good experience and enjoyed the visit. Most likely going back soon.
Love this place. It feels like Chuck-E-Cheese for people 21& over. I bought my sis a AMF and I got a Bomb Pop margarita...?? They have a lot of different drinks that nobody else out in thousand oaks makes. It's fun to play the games when you leave the bar...
My daughters birthday was made special today here! Customer service was great. Our server was really attentive and even let us store our belongings at our table after we finished eating while we played games since so was worried about putting the cake in the hot car. I really appreciated the managers help setting up our table. The food came out so fast! We ordered and in 5 minutes it was at our table. I couldn't afford to do a big party room type of party so we dined in the restaurant and the food and servi
We had already eaten just took our son to have some fun but those wings were good...a kick of spicy but so worth it as an appetizer.. Nice place to go with the family
Over all a good experience.A variety of food & drinks. Wi-Fi inside hereis not the best & for some odd reason our cell phone reception wasnt that greatest inside the building.
We had great fun here recently. The food was good, a little over priced though. The service was a little slow but our server was very nice and friendly. Lots of big TVs showing sport. After our food we played lots of games . It is very noisy .
First time at Dave and Busters. Saturday night so very busy. Our food was cold but good. The manager immediately made it right. Our server was great just very busy. We had an issue with a game and the staff made that right. Overall amazing customer service and the games are awesome. Our daughter and her friends had a great time. Can't wait to go back. Even though it was busy it made it fun being around so many people just having fun. Again staff is top notch.
Amazing Service from Cynthia & her staff . Very welcoming environment and fast service and attentive of their customer . Will be coming back to this location.
I absolutely love come coming to this Dave n Busters location! Food and drinks are always amazing. Games are always fun. Servers and bartenders are always friendly and kind. Manager Johnny is amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time at Dave n busters!
Best Dave & busters EVER! Super clean, amazing staff
If you're looking to go out and have some fun with the family as far as arcade games this is the place but if you're looking to go to eat look elsewhere food takes way too long
This is by far the best location. The waiters and bartenders are on it and very helpful! The best employee they have is Joey at the rewards store. He is always so helpful and attentive to help kids pick their toys. He is kind and great at his job!!
The bartender Ernie came to our table and told us if we didn't get more food or drinks we had to leave. We ordered a drink and he kept harassing us to leave. We ordered more food because he kept insisting in an extremely rude demeanor. If you are having a bad day don't take it out on customers trying to watch the fights..
Food was good. All the entertainment is awesome. My son had an awesome time here he was his first time. Parking is plentiful. You would have an awesome time in here.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
