Dave&Busters is still an amazing place for family and friends to go hang out in large amounts of people. A party of sixteen was easy for this gaming restaurant to accommodate. Great service even during a busy evening for a Saturday. They still have the great old school games like air hockey. Three different versions of the free throw basket ball game is still available. The lowest game card they offer is for 29 dollars. This includes the sales tax. I think it's still a excellent place to hang out in groups.
Our server was super nice, the place was clean and everything was perfect. We all enjoyed our food and apps and played for a little bit before it closed. Only complaint was the fish was a little chewy, but honestly whatever it's likely just frozen mass distributed fish. Was still 10/10 service and I'd go back again and eat the same things.
I should have grabbed her name but the manager who worked Father's Day weekend was incredible. She really took care of us on such a special occasion and gave the type of customer service Arizona is missing! I only have 4 starts for service due to the waitress we had. She had to come back to us a few times to ask additional questions about the food we ordered (unfamiliar with the menu maybe).
This location is at Tempe Marketplace. Surrounded by shopping and dining. Target. Best Buy. And so much more. Near ASU and Tempe Town Lake. Always visit when in town. Bring all my business partners and associates and they definitely enjoy D&B as well.
I bought the summer play pass today and I'm so glad that I did!! My daughter and I went here this morning for games and lunch. We had the BEST time! The games were so fun and the unlimited summer play pass is such a good deal. My daughter was so excited to pick out a cool prize when we were ready to go. Then we had lunch and it was yummy and there are so many choices- we were already talking about we are going to try next time! The service was great! We are so looking forward to making this a weekly mama/da
Food was pretty good (although a little too much for me), my server was *great*. But it's really just... Constantly overstimulating. There's not a single spot where one can sit without being assaulted by huge TVs -- but from the 34 I could see from my seat, there were just 2 different things playing. My server was great at moving us to a table a little further away from the gaming, but it's still very loud. I had come just one week before, and it had been emptier... But not less overwhelming. Thankfully, t
If you're looking to have fun without screaming children going on, the weekend is not suggested. The food is good games are kind of expensive. It's better if you get a food package that comes with games and you don't have to worry about tickets because their virtual tickets on a card.
My family and I recently visited Dave & Busters in Tempe, AZ and we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. Our waiter, Mike C, immediately stood out with his friendly demeanor and excellent customer service skills. He took the time to explain the drinks and menu options to us without any hesitation, making our dining experience seamless and enjoyable. Mike's positive attitude and constant smile made us feel welcomed and well tak
Great family fun restaurant that offers something for everyone of all ages. Service could ve better and a bit more efficient, but overall experience was good. Take advantage of the deals and go early during the week as you will not experience any waiting or large crowds.
We had a fantastic time celebrating my adult Sons birthday! Food was top notch! Chad was absolutely amazing! We had kiddos and moved a couple of times and he accommodated us at every situation! We will definitely be back!
Great drinks and food, wonderful environment for fun!
Brought a group of twelve to have dinner and drinks. Looked for someone to check in on where we could sit. After five minutes caught what looked like to be the only working wait staff who pointed where we could sit. Another ten minutes went by before we received menus. After another ten minutes going by and not having anyone come back for drink and dinner orders, we just got up and left. Walked across to the bar next door. Had drinks in five minutes. Dinner ten minutes after that. Their menu choices looke
Great spot to beat the heat! Games are currently half price on Wednesdays too, which gives a great bang for your buck. Food was delicious. Check it out!
Love it here! The parking is ok, it's just a busy place. Get here early to get good seats. Came to watch the UFC and DA ZN fights. Great food and good service. Great for kids and a party. ToNS of seating and lots of games to play. Oh, forget it, if your on a diet! Hahaha
Dave & Buster's has a fair variety of games, but many of those games are geared more towards smaller kids or "carnival" style games. They do not have many prize redemption games and the games you win tickets on give you so little, it's unlikely you're able to even visit the redemption shop and walk out with something that isn't a piece of candy or a Dollar Tree quality toy. The food is alright, service is decent, and atmosphere is decent, but to play games here just isn't worth it to me anymore. I prefer th
Went to dave and busters to get away from the summer heat and have something to do over the weekend. We ended up getting the kids pizza which was sooooo good! My favorite for me and my toddler. My husband got the chicken strips meal and those chicken strips are the best we have had in a long time! They were juicy, non greasy, great crunch with every bite also! Our server was very friendly and attentive also. Only complaint I have is the disappointment on how most of the games where out of order so that's al
We had our Territory Kickoff Meeting here, and they did not disappoint. The service the staff gave was great. We had a small issue with the air-conditioning, but they worked diligently to fix it and did. The food that was served was amazing. Morning time was fruit, danishes, muffins, breads, coffee, tea. Lunch was carne and chicken tacos with pablano rice and beans. It had all the fixins with it. Then, later, it was veggies, dips, chicken strips, and cheeses. We were spoiled all day.
Celebrated my daughters birthday all while taking salsa lessons. Fun atmosphere for the family, couples and singles. Delicious drink specials.
Food was best I've had in an arcade environment(food here by far better than the wolf lodge, amazing Jake's) Games were fun enough to keep all ages entertained. Service was ok, could been a bit more attentive to our table. Other guests were rude, while in gaming area children and adults alike so I felt. People need better manners(not something the establishment controls) but overall it was a great 1st time experience. Will return. $$$
Go and enjoy their 5 dlls special, lots of domestic drafts to choose from, and they also have 5 dlls appetizers like flatbreads, fried pickles, nachos, and more. Obviously, there are lots of games, and they offer bachata and dance classes per 5 dlls en their top roof
The service and view of the city were extraordinary.
Oh my goodness, where do I even begin with my review of Dave and Busters in Tempe, AZ? This place is an absolute blast! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a bright, colorful atmosphere that just screams fun. And speaking of fun, let's talk about the games! They are absolutely awesome! There's something for everyone, whether you're a die-hard gamer or just looking to have some casual fun. I guarantee you'll be hooked the moment you start playing. But it's not just about the games here. Oh no,
Fun place with lots of interesting and impressive game choices. Put as much money as you want on a D&B card and have a great time. We didn't eat while there so I can't comment on the food, but it looked like there were lots of options and plenty of places to sit and enjoy anything purchased.
This had become my kids favorite place to go to. Hubby and I recently did date night as well, and it was so much fun.
Rigged claw machine. They got rid of the popular Big Choice brand claw machine and replaced it with a new one. Service was pretty rude. One of the game technicians who was very rude when a game wasn't working and seemed like he didn't want to be there.
I am extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Dave & Buster?s on 3/28/25. My family and I went to celebrate my sister's birthday, and the experience was far from enjoyable. I hadn't been to D&B in two years, and unfortunately, it has only gotten worse. We arrived around 4:30 PM and immediately noticed that many of the machines were either broken or out of order. Some even took our chips without working properly. Despite this, we played games for about three hours before deciding to attend karaoke at
Been here a few times now. Always a ton of fun a d the kids will have a blast. It's 2 floors with plenty for the adults to fo as well. Don't miss the UFC fight there
This Dave & Buster location was great. The employee was really nice. If you had a problem with any of the games, the employees would help you and give you credits. There were a couple of games closed and some that just didn't work at all but overall a great place with very nice staff. My favorite day to go is Wednesday. All the games are half off, and it's such a great deal!
My son decided 3 days before his 15th birthday to host a party here. The staff was wonderful and accommodating, especially our server Audura (I hope I spelled her name correctly). She was amazing, she catered to my autistic son and all of his friends and was so kind??, they had her running back and forth with their demands for pizza, fries and soda; and she kept the biggest smile on her face. She was also very helpful to me, helping me decide which play cards and combos to keep everyone fed, playing and
Had not been to a Dave & Buster's in a long time. Great service and all the games were open for use. Fun for family or adults. The menu was great, I got the French Dip. Prices for games did not go up so still a very affordable option with deals for multi party purchases! If you have never been to a Dave & Buster's you are definitely missing out... get to one immediately.
Took my wife and child to Dave & Buster?s in Tempe to celebrate her birthday, but the experience was very disappointing. We ordered the Cantina Chicken Nachos and the Chicken Pasta with toast. The nachos were the only good part of the meal. The pasta was bland, and the toast was over-fried?burnt black on one side. Not what we expected for a $40 meal. What really made the night worse was the service. Our server was rude and made us feel uncomfortable. We left a 5% tip due to the poor experience, but she ac
I tried the steak dinner, normally $30, during their 50% off food promotion and was impressed. The steak was excellent, and the mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus were on par with those at a top-notch steakhouse. Though some favorite menu items have been removed, I'm excited to try other new items on my next visit.
We were invited to a Phoenix Rising Event here, and it was one of the best we've attended. The food was wonderful, the space for all of us worked, and although it was super hot, because of the temperatures today, the staff was incredible!!! I'm so thankful we were able to enjoy this event here. Watching my granddaughters play games with their favorite players and coaches, was the BEST!!! ????
We love going to Dave and Busters. We have 2 teen boys, so video games junkies. They compete to see who can get more tickets. The staff is always nice. Some machines(games) some take the credits but you can't play them, they don't work. It is difficult to get an employee to fix or give you back your credits. The cost to play the games is getting a little ridiculous.
Good food nice server and some fun. The games are a little pricey but still a fun night out.
Dave & Buster's are always a hit in my book and this one was no exception. The staff was courteous and considerate and the place had good upkeep. Our company used one of the big party rooms and it hosted all 40 of us easily with room to spare. The food was a good variety and was great. Great location for large parties and get togethers.
Fun place for every age! They have from the human claw machine, down to racing games. It was busy, but there was always a game open. I save my game cards and re-use my tickets if I don't want to spend them that day!
Such a fun night! The food was good and I loved the atmosphere here! What made it really awesome was the fun games. My personal favorite game is the mega stacker (picture below) I can continuously get 200 tickets per turn. But the game doesn't last long as the others games which happens to be a bit more fun! Thr claw machines are totally a scam, dont waste your tolkens here, theres a reason you dont see peoples with prizes from the claw machines. The food here is decent! Overall it's a fun place that will l
I was here this past Thursday with my nephew and his wife, they took me out to unwind, and took a good look at this place and to be honest, this is the best place to be to have real fun with tons of video games. I visited before with my kids in New Jersey, and this place is very impressive. Comparing to other places i visited, i recommend this place, if you also want to grab a bite. Is a place for the family. There is however, a bar for adults. Remember, 21 and over its the law. This establishment is also l
We took our 5 kids, our oldest's boyfriend and one of our son's friends to have fun playing games today since Spring Break is almost over and they have to go back to school on Monday. We had mostly only minor issues while there but I will warn everyone not to pick the "Kitty Surprise" gift from the redemption shop. Our 4 year old picked it thinking it would have a stuffed kitten and some toys for it in it since it was with the toys and looks very similar to other "surprise" toys you can buy your kids. She w
Lots of fun and very clean environment. Staff were attentive and kind. Food came out quick. This location has lots of games, and they all worked, lol. I've been to many Dave and Buster locations where the machine malfunctioned. This location kept everything nice, neat, and updated.
I took my daughter here on a first date with her boyfriend. It was a good time with games adults can enjoy. The bar is a nice feature, although I didn't have any drinks this visit.
This place was loud. I understand the setting but it was so loud that our waitress was literally yelling so we could hear her. The food was small portions for an expensive price and it tasted okay. Nothing above average at all. I probably won't go back.
Nice location, but lady with glasses at the front desk yesterday at noon was very, very unhelpful. In fact, she didn't know how to do something regarding recharging my card, I asked to speak to a manager, and she refused to call the manager.
This Dave & Busters location is great! Staff is friendly & helpful. Games are great! Food & drinks are freshing & tasteful. Recommend this DB location. Plus you can watch a movie, shop, get dessert or just walk around Tempe Marketplace afterwards.
D&B is great, good food, drink selections, tons of TVs and games... my only complaint as is everyone's is that is is just SO expensive to play the games there... I suggest going on Wednesdays when the games are 1/2 off ??
This is an amazing location for a great get-together, or even a drink and a few games. The staff here are top notch, and when I say top notch, i actually mean that. Every single employee I ran into was very very kind and personable. My girlfriend had spilled her drink, we immediately felt bad and just didn't know what to do. Almost out of nowhere, 2 staff members came by to comfort my girlfriend saying ?hey it's okay, we'll take care of it?. Not only that, the same employees that's cleaned went out of their
I went to a salsa class upstairs. I had a fun time learning new moves. The place is huge! There was a full bar downstairs as well as upstairs. The staff were helpful. Accessible parking nearby.
Our company had an event here. We had a great time. Fun for all age groups.
I had not been to D&B for several years, but I remember it being more fun and less pricy. The place had a few interesting novelties, like huge Pac-Man and Space Invader games (which almost had enough flashing lights to inspire a seizure, jk). However, while there seemed to be a variety of games for there to be a little something for everyone, that meant there wasn't much left for people with little interest in sports, racing, or the "games of chance". The huge 'Hungry, hungry hippos' game had a nearly imm
This place was amazing and so fun. We went at happy hour and our wonderful server made sure to come back as soon as possible to get us drinks before happy hour ended. He was the greatest server I have ever had and was super nice. The games were fun and food was good. Although, the sliders were subpar.
Great place to hang out and catch a game. Servers are often busy and you gotta wait a bit but always friendly and good food!
Have gone to this DnB?s several times since it was built and we usually prefer it over the closer W Valley location as it at times has handled various rush times better and it's the location closest to my step son & our grand daughter. So needless to say I am sure that both locations are equally capable of handling weekend dinner rush we will always go to this one cause it was our first DnB and we'll meet & play with the grand daughter that's a no brainer !!!Have fun and enjoy your day ! Thanks for reading.
We usually visit D+B on Wednesdays for half price games, but they were full price on the Wednesday we went. Fun games, not very many out of order! Not the greatest prize selection, most D+B have a whole rack for candy and treats but they only have 4-5 options.
While not actually at Dave and Buster's, we were at the Super Bowl watch party just outside their place in their courtyard. It was a great party and many thanks to Dave and Buster's for participating.
My kids love going to D&B. I enjoy watching them have fun, fruity drinks, and fried food. It's never a cheap visit but it's always worth it.
I love Dave n Busters!Went on a Wednesday and games were half price! We played for over 2 hours on 25 bucks! Would have have 5 stars.. but bartender ignored me I stood at bar for 20 min before she served me!ugh and they were not busy! Also Ashley who gave us our card was flustered and short with us .. need to step up customer service!
Got greeted by an older rude female waitress (8/4/24)who id?d me to eat at the restaurant. She told me i had to be 18 to eat and she needed to see id before either of us could sit. Proceeded to watch every single party for the next 45 minutes not get carded . I been coming here for years even before i was 21 to eat and i never been asked to show identification. i still got 2 cocktails and enjoyed them which is why i came(good job bar) but i dont like the hostility for credentials before i even talk about o
Great place that has food, drinks and games. Drink menu had many options, draft selection is diverse, foods include a huge variety from pastas to burgers and healthiness. Huge game selection. A place to better spend time at enjoy all the aspects rather than come in and leave ASAP.
We had a good time here! So many games to play, great customer service and love the location. It was clean and the food was amazing!
Operating under the name ?wings out? on DoorDash, there is ZERO indication this brand is located in this sleepy Dave and busters. I will never support Dave and busters again after this experience. Shame on this brand for not clearly stating their association with the virtual brands wings out, I would not have spent as much as I did if I knew where I was ordering from. Do not trust the brand Wings Out on DoorDash; not only is it near impossible to find any association with this virtual brand in Dave and Bust
We were told a 30 min wait. We waited for 1.25 hours. They had plenty of empty tables where we could have been sitting at. Server was great though, but the cooks were sloppy. Cooks skimped on portions, overcooked some food, and didn't even cook some. When did you guys start serving raw bacon? Games are now overpriced. The menu has changed, lost a lot of great options and don't have pictures anymore. You now only have one page(front & back - all text) to look at for menu options.
the food isn't the greatest but if you're looking for a fun time indoors with your friends or children i would recommend coming here for the games! i take my son here in the day sometimes for the arcade, keep in mind in the evenings they have UFC on some nights so it's not as child appropriate however overall great place for all ages of people!
Not much food selection to choose from but, it is good. I usually stick with the appetizers (sliders or chicken and a side of fries) The alcoholic drinks are good though
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
