This is the first "free-standing" D&B I have been to...all the others were tucked up into a mall. This place was spacious and nice to be greeted at door by a team member. Fun was had by all ages, from the young to the seasoned patrons. The adult beverages area was nice to sit and enjoy when we were finished getting our games on. Gotta say, the ticket redemption had lots of nice things you could exchange your electronic tickets for.

Great food, great games, even better service! We had an awesome time at Dave & Buster?s. The staff was friendly, the drinks came out quick, and the games were nonstop fun. Perfect spot for date night or family time. Highly recommend if you're looking to eat, drink, and play?all in one place!

We recently visited Dave & Buster?s, and while the place looks fun at first glance, the experience didn't hold up once we got closer. A good number of the arcade machines were either out of order or glitchy, which was disappointing. But the biggest letdown was the restaurant. Despite it being a Thursday and not very busy, we waited a long time just to place our order, and even longer for the food to arrive. When it finally did, it was cold and clearly not fresh. That's just not acceptable, especially for a

My neices came to Tampa to spend QT with me on their spring break. Taking them to Dave and Buster's was a last-minute idea, but man, did we have a great time. We ate first. We ordered steak, burgers, and boneless wings. The food was good. Then we got our play cards and started playing games. We literally lost track of time in there. We left way later than anticipated because we were having that much fun. We will definitely go again!!!

Dave & Buster's in Tampa is an incredible place for fun and entertainment! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is electric, with vibrant lights and a lively crowd. The arcade area is packed with a wide variety of games, from classic favorites to the latest high-tech experiences. Whether you're competing for the highest score or just having fun, there's something for everyone. The games are well-maintained, and it's easy to load up a card and start playing. The food and drink options are just as imp

Sam who is my server has exceptional friendly customer service skills. Ran down the menu, provided options with our menu. Even with the mishaps of purchasing a game card vs game and play Peggy the AGM made everything clear an right! What an amazing team!

Wesley did an awesome job with our large group! Great recommendations on food! Food came out quickly correct and delicious. The new steak protein bowl was delicious!Definitely will visit again when in area

My 24-year-old son is autistic and had never been to a Dave & Buster's so for Christmas we took advantage of their platinum winter season pass and went to this location. They were amazing The managers Peggy and Michael Moon made the experience so great for him and we're so helpful. We stayed from the time they opened till 11:00 at night and they were so patient and great with my son. This is by far the best location I have ever been to and I've been to quite a few over my travels. I want to thank you so muc

My husband and I came here for the 1st time because everyone always says how amazing it was. The food was ok I had no complaints. Your drinks for 2 should say how much you're getting because we were not expecting a half keg ??. We got the meals with unlimited play for 90 minutes because we thought that would be a better deal. However I want to say 35 % of the games were out of order. Very disappointing.

Took my grandboys after their graduation. It was a weekday during the day very quiet and best time to go. When they opened a few years ago my first experience was not good. I didnt make in as the smell of weed and smoking was awful. I turned back around and left. However, it was a weekend. This time around it was quite and pleasent for kids. My grandboys enjoyed the food and games. The prize section is extremely over priced. Items you find in a dollar store they charge $4 to $10 each.

Always a good time here and a great place to take the kids. The Minecraft game is addictive and the other options are plentiful. The kids pizza is very plain and was NOT good. The hot honey wings, spicy chicken sandwich, and quesadilla is decent.

This was a good option for a date night as long as you just play the games. The man that brought our food out managed to give it to another table next to us which isn't a big deal mistakes happen, but then after realizing that he did that he decided to pick the food up from in front of some strangers who had it for the last 15-20mins and asked if we would take the food because they didn't touch it. NO that's nasty and unprofessional and definitely didn't need the attitude with it. Other than that one employ

Fun for all ages. Went just for the games, so no scoring for the food/service. Lots of fun, not too crowded and my kids loved the human claw machine.

This was the first time I went to the Brandon location, and it's huge, in my opinion. I know Orlando's is big but not like this one. Also, the prizes section was a little better than Orlando's some pretty good choices. The games were super fun, especially the Tomb Raider one. The food and drinks are always good! Definitely will be back especially since it's closer.

It was my first visit and it was very enjoyable. There are a lot of games to choose from for all ages. It's a very fun place and the food and drinks are really good as well. I did not visit the restroom but my friend did and she said the restroom was very clean. It is a great place for a family outing, couples outing or to meet up with friends. I will definitely be going back.

Amazing place. Huge games EVERYWHERE. Awesome technology for newer games. HUMAN CRANE!!!! food was fantastic!!! THANK YOU DAVE & BUSTER'S!!

Absolutely, here's your review without the 7 credits part: --- Our first visit was a total blast! We played for an hour and had so much fun that we bought extra credits after using Groupon. The variety of games suited all ages, and winning prizes at the end just added to the excitement. Every game was up and running, making it a hassle-free experience. For just under $100, it was a fantastic, budget-friendly night out with the family. A must-visit for anyone looking to have fun without breaking the bank!

Under remodel adding some new games and full screen rooms. They have all the games and the game technician is pretty helpful(Danny). We love going Wednesdays for 1/2 off games. Side note. Buy the gift cards online from Costco. $80 for $100 worth. Then use them at the counter to reload your card

We generally love D&B and have more recently spent over $1200 at this location in the last month. However, due to the poor customer service and management we will not be back. The waiter, bartender, and teen employees were very nice but the management needs to change. We took our son today with friends to celebrate his 14th birthday. We had 2 adults and 5 kids. We had food and bought the highest game cards you can get for each kid. My middle son and his friend won over 22,000 tickets on a rally racer game.

I go here once a year for special occasions and i love it! The drinks at the bar are soooo good that when I finish one I need another. The games are alright nothing special, I do notice that almost half of the games are either broken or out of order but other than that they're still fun.

We went on a Saturday and it was very busy. We had 8 in our party but they made seating arrangements for us. Because it's Saturday and birthday parties are going on it's really busy and part of the dining area is blocked Off for just parties. But they made it work for us and we're very appreciative of that. Also suggestion If you're going on a Saturday, go online and make a reservation. Thanks so much Dave& Buster's for making our granddaughters tying out with her friends for her Birthday a success.

Enjoyed playing the games. Have lots of nee additions. Kid and adult friendly. Bar is nice. They have great cocktails. I had the bacon burger it was amazing, a wide selection on the food menu.

We went this Saturday and it was a horrible experience. The host up front had no clue what he was doing, directed us to take a seat anywhere and when we did a host came up to us telling us we needed to be seated. We then went with host to be seated and she refused to sit us somewhere where we could comfortably watch the TVs. When we asked her if we could move her response was ?I am not sitting 2 people in a table for 6?, we then responded that the place was not busy and that there were plenty of other table

The establishment is undergoing some upgrade maintenance. But, it doesn't affect the gaming or eating atmosphere. It's still my favorite Dave & Busters. The chick manager is a work horse. She was everywhere, doing a lot of the things. So helpful and knowledgeable and didn't seem annoyed that my family kept bothering her with questions and requests. Kudos to her. She is appreciated.

Came here for the first time with my partner for my birthday. I had never been to a D&B?s and I've been wanting to go to an arcade. We ordered food - the chicken potstickers (not pictured since we ate them so fast) were new on the menu and were actually really good. Then on to the nachos that really couldn't be called nachos if you can tell my the picture. There was a sprinkle of toppings on there. We settled on the salmon to have ?something healthy? with the drinks (which were decently good by the way) and

On 6/2 I had planned my daughter birthday party but the weather didn't agree with me. Last minute we decided to go to Dave and busters with a couple of friends of hers but I had nothing planned. I was in a panic and overwhelmed. The people there was very patient with me and helped me to the max. Michelle was our waiter and she was the best thing that cloud have happens to me that day. She came, took over and asked me all the questions she needed answered for her to make that night amazing for me and my kid.

If you get an arcade credit promo deal, make sure you read the fine print and redeem before it expires (in my case, within 2 months of purchase). The cost of games has gone up significantly. You'd think that getting an arcade credit deal could offset this, but then you find out you can't redeem it on the day you purchased the credit. They do some promo on Wednesdays and won't let you redeem the other arcade credit deal they just advertised that day. So you have to wait another day to redeem the credit and a

Package deals are a good price. It took a long time to receive our food and it was a bit expensive. Alcoholic drinks are way overpriced. I had 1 margarita, it was the size of a burden glass and it was 22 dollars. Fun place, lots to do.

Best family place I experienced so far. All staff were very polite and attentive, drinks were served without even asking. Julian gave us outstanding service, food was excellent and he always made sure we got served. The lady in the front guided us about the games area. Thank you so much, Doll! Whole place even bathrooms clean and neat. Overall, best restaurant service ever. Excellent prices. Everything very affordable. We had so much fun. We'll go again for sure. Outstanding! Thank you so much, Sweethearts!

I had a very disappointing experience. I called ahead to ask about options for my daughter?s birthday party and spoke with a helpful young lady who told me about a deal. I gave her the time of my reservation and even asked if I needed to prepay?she said no. I got her name and said I would ask for her when I arrived. When we got there, staff said the deal wasn't available at that time. I explained who I spoke to and the time I mentioned, but they claimed it couldn't be honored. After some back and forth, th

I came with a big group for a birthday gathering. I'm not sure why or if they don't have bigger tables but we were actually seated around a pool table. One person wasted their drink because of the uncovered pockets. The use of the pool table was a bit awkward. Erin was our server! She was EXCELLENT! She took her time with us answering different questions and just seemed like she was just always available. I feel like sometimes in big establishments like this, your server can get lost finding your table aga

This was a REALLY good time time. I was skeptical about coming here with all the discounts and reviews I saw on facebook but it was fantasic. The food was great, service was quick and the arcade was a very good time. Outside of them not having the meal I wanted and no real good fighting games, which are both nitpicks, I highly recommend Dave and Busters. Check out youtube and search MrBucketlist Dave and busters for my full review. Also, thanks for the half off plus the special card for credits. The deals t

Great Service! From being greeted at the front door to getting a decent table in the game room and being waited on. Jesse gave exceptional customer service and always checked on us just to see if we needed anything plenty of times. The drinks, especially the lemonades, were awesome. All I got were appetizers and the boneless wings and Korean ribs were excellent. Very filling portions took most home. Of course my kid loved the games. music and prizes (she left with quite a few). Even though it was a busy Sat

We did not eat, just played. Had lots of fun, since we were new members we got a special on coins through the app. We had like 200 coins for 26$ we were able to play for 2 hours on that which I thought was really nice. Overall had a great experience and would do it again.

One of the School groups I work with had dinner and games there this past Friday night. Per the KT Tour Director quote "They also had a blast at Dave and Busters. They had us in a separate room for dining and a super nice waitress who was very attentive. They all loved all of the games!" Looking forward to working again with them next school year.

Came here for dinner and we had a dirty table, balloons from a party they recently had all over, and our server checked on the tables around us many times while we got checked on once. Getting their attention to get the bill was impossible. The tables around us arrived after us, got the food before us, and left before us. After 15 minute! I finally agreed with my more than angry girlfriend that we should just get up and find someone. We won't be eating here again. The food?was pretty good though. So if you

Good evening to whom this may concern first and foremost we went to a Graduation at PHSC then after we decided to go to Dave & Busters. When we first got there SYDNI who we didn't know was going to be our SERVER had a bad attitude and energy she was upset about wiping down tables her co-worker said to me she didn't know why she was mad. So I had asked her co-worker if she would be our sever which we didn't want her from the beginning we knew it was going to be a bad idea but we went with it we definitely sh

The mashed potatoes We're good. The French fries, we're all right. The medium Well, steak was overcoat. .The Hawaiian chicken crunch was a bit of a disappointment. The kids love there cheese pizza. My daughter enjoyed her hamburger. The kids really enjoyed the games. Very loud environment.

We Had A Surprise 50th Birthday Party For Our Brother And It Was A Blast. Bria Went Above And Beyond Our Expectations And Made Sure We Were Fed And Hydrated. Everyone There Was Outstanding And Guided Us Throughout Our Visit. The Food Was Awesome And Prepared To Perfection. The Games Are So Much Fun. We Were All Energized And Played Continuously. There Is So Much To Do. Our Day Was Worth Every Penny And We Hope To Visit Sooner Than Later. God Bless & Stay Safe! ??

Last time we went to this one was in 2021. It is more open and looks wonderful with some new fun games. There were some games that were not working, and i miss the military deal for games. But we had a fun time nonetheless. Have never found a food item that was worth getting on their menu. But they always have fun drinks

Relaxed, fun, family atmosphere. Lots of options for sports viewing while dining. They have several huge TVs in the dining area. Large bar area near there too. There's so many games for kids and adults, even a standing photo booth near the restrooms. We bought out play card and loaded it in the front reception area.

We came into play in the arcade We really wanted to play skeetball but they had taken those out and they are bringing new ones in. So we walked around and played other games. We had a blast We hadn't seen each other in 14 years! After racking up some serious points in the arcade We went into the little store and spent a little money from our winnings. We sat at the bar for a little while and caught each other up and what we're doing in our lives and pretty much what's next so overall we had a blast We were

We came to try the new arena games!! So much fun 10/10 and we're coming back every Wednesday for half price games!

Delicious, fresh food. Fun atmosphere. Great location right off the 75 in Brandon, FL. Attentive wait staff. So many games to enjoy from ski ball to Mario kart to connect 4. Every game we tried was working properly. Adults and kids had a great time. Will be coming back.

The gaming is top-notch with an amazing selection and everything in working order. The games give plenty of tickets which can actually buy some decent prizes. Overall, it was an excellent experience, but my only complaint is that the food is subpar for the price.

Great food and atmosphere for the family. You won't realize how long you're in there!

The Kids had a blast today at Dave & Busters Tampa. The staff was amazing, the service was exceptional, the food was fresh & Tasty our Server CeeJay was the best! We played for hours and hours lol. Can't wait to come back! Omg this was my first time going to Dave & Busters. The experience was amazing the staff was helpful, my server was patient& very sweet I think her name was Summer. Me and the kids played, ate & made great memories! I would love to host a birthday party for them there one year. We ordered

I went at about 4 pm on a Wednesday. (Half-off day) everything was great I beat the rush. We had the sliders so good. Played games and it is also half off on the big games like the arena (new) and the human crane.

We celebrated our son's 30th here and it was amazing. Our son has autism and really isn't social. But he had so much fun playing game, eating flat bread pizza, opening gifts and slamming cake. Our server was awesome and on point!

Dave and Busters has a very pleasant atmosphere; however, upon my visit the other night there was a medical emergency, and the staff were reluctant to react/respond/ or even notify 911. I and another patron intervened and asked them to call 911. The server that I had seemed to be the only one in the area, slow yet pleasant. The food tasted good, great presentation; however, the temperature was COLD. The server offered to take it back, but I do not believe in that and decided to bring it home. I will go agai

Had a great time at bar. Staff was fun and personable. They joked around with us. Even the off duty troopers were fun!!!! I marked low because I did not like the selection of games. Bought a $66 card, only played 30 mins worth of games and gave the card away. Had more fun at the bar with the staff.

We came on a busy saturday night so the Self serve Kiosks made it super easy to get a new game card to load up with money and start playing within a minute of arriving ! Basketball was our groups favorite but we enjoyed a good amount of other games.

We visited your establishment on Saturday night and were extremely disappointed with the level of service we received. We sat at the bar for over 20 minutes attempting to order a drink from the bartender, Ashley. During this time, she responded to our request with noticeable attitude. Shockingly, she then proceeded to remove her shoe and sock, scratch her foot, and handle her footwear with her bare hands?all while looking at us?before walking away without taking our order. Even after another 10 minutes, we

I was in earlier today and sat at the bar with Kristin and I had the best time! She was both friendly and hospitable! She was so knowledgeable on drinks and had the best recommendations. She made me a regular in one visit. I will definitely be back

It's an arcade chain that serves American food. There are tvs for sports fans who want to watch tv while the kids play. The point system is like any arcade, you basically need 100k points for a stuffed animal but the kids love it. I had a birthday party here for my daughter. It was very well priced for 10 unlimited game play cards and $25 in tickets per child. Included food and drinks. Was around $400 or so dollars which to me is a steal.

This was our first time visiting this particular Dave and Buster?s and my first impression was great. It is quite larger than what we are used to but the staff were friendly, the games were working, food and drinks were good. We all had fun (ages 2 to 40), everyone found a game they enjoyed and got some awesome prizes at the end.

CAUTION! Went for first time and the atmosphere is quite overwhelming - apparently by design. Told waitress it was our first time (adult, two teens). She showed the game ticket deals and said she "couldn't separate from food bill." I got 2 game tickets, ~$66 each. The bill came on their hand-held machine and not itemized (again, by design). Unwittingly, I paid the bill and hit the "20%" tip, routine move. Later, I realized I gave the waitress $26+ of tip on the game tickets (on top of the $26+ for the food!

We went earlier in the day to avoid crowds. It wasn't too crowded, but a lot of the games were either broken, working properly, or not scoring right. The service was great at the restaurant side. Food a mediocre. Especially for what you pay. Half of what we ordered was unavailable because the ingredients were missing. Would rather drive the extra distance to Orlando to play.

It was super fun. The prices on the menu are high per item, but the quality was decent. The tables were really uncomfortable and fast-food-like. The atmosphere was a little weird. It screamed cheap overpriced roller rink or Chuckie cheese, which felt at odds with the attempted vibe of arcade for adults. It didn't jive with the presentation and quality of the food. You don't have to make me sit at a particle board table to signal kids are welcome too. Our wait staff was amazing but the host was enforcing som

My family and I had a great time, it was my first time there we had a birthday party so you know it can be kind of hectic with bigger parties, the waitress was very friendly and he did an absolutely great job and he had several parties to cater to. The food came out promptly they have their team from the back that brings the food out. The salmon was absolutely amazing. And we also had this sticky ribs which was very tasty as well. Afterwards we played video games and had great cocktails, I would definitely

This was a very fun experience. The place is clean and the bar service was excellent. I highly recommend the Aperol Spritz as a first drink. The Scooby Snack shot and the Backwoods Blueberry Lemonade were pretty good but I would avoid the Electric Blue Tini. Games were all in good working conditions and I feel they were very fairly priced. They have a good selection of prizes as well.

Had my daughter 15 th party at Brandon. I had 16 kids total. 2 days prior had 2 cancelled. Tried calling few times no answer, no messages set up to the party ambassador. Apparently, she doesn't work weekends, so I was told too late, I cannot cancel because the food is prepared. Ok, so they charge 15 per kid for flat bread tasteless pizza, french fries, and drinks. They state 3 pieces per kid. But the pieces they are talking about are small square flat. When they bought out the pizza, I was like WTF!

If you can't make it Wednesday when it's half price games then Eat Drink and Play card is a pretty good deal for 39.99 per person. 5 food meals with a drink and $35 worth of credits on a play card. Would be a really great deal if you can get this offer on Wednesdays.

If you like great food, even better drinks, and watch your favorite sporting event, all while deciding which game you want to play, then you have come to the right spot. The staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend ?? ??

A very special thank you to both Nubi and Peggy for a wonderful Birthday experience for our 2 boys! They both here attentive and knew exactly what we needed. Our family of 20 enjoyed appetizers, drinks and tons of play at the arcade. It couldn't have happened without the patience and exceptional service from these two wonderful ladies!!

Had to amend my rating from years back. Unfortunately its a different climate. The servers are horrendous. Watched 6 servers 2 managers and a bar back sit on their phone by the pos systems and chit chat while there were only (6) 2-4 tops and (1) 12 top. Not properly being attended to. As a member of the party table. I watched as it took 20 mins to get a beer, apps requested and nvr fulfilled, soft drinks sit empty for entire course of stay, orders just plopped down and not checked. As a patron i was upset.

I usually don't post negative reviews of any place that I visit but today after the disrespect I endured in front of my wife, I feel absolutely compelled to. My wife and I enjoy two residences and travel between them often in central Florida. Given that my nieces are out of school and hadn't done anything fun in a while I decided to treat them to Dave & Busters so they could have a good start to the weekend. The service at the restaurant portion was good and the food was as expected. I bought the girls the

They've got really good food, we loved the truffle fries appetizer. They have SO many more games than they used to, including a really cool VR game (costs like $5 extra I believe). The prices on games have gone up though. Overall we had a blast.

First time visiting since pandemic. My experience was actually pretty good, I was little skeptical first but it was very spacious and large enough to handle good amount of people. Menu was still good and open table with barrier where I don't need to worry about next table. We had fun.

The service, food and atmosphere had the right balance. Lots of visual and auditory stimulation, great place the family to relax or to go play games in the game room.

This experience was amazing last night We came to Dave and Busters for Malik's birthday yesterday evening, and we had a blast And the restrooms we're not disgusting at all, but the urinals in the Men's Restrooms we're out of order But the games are amazing! We had LOTS of fun Can't wait to come back soon!

it was very nice! nobody was paying attention to the arcade though...there were some spills near wires and they stayed there until we left (1hr 30mins) which is a little bit of a hazard. I remember waiting 20mins for that halo game but the kids there kept buying it so we couldn't use it. I enjoyed the food and didn't notice the size! It was a nice experience and very fun nonetheless.

First time in the Tampa area visiting family and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how friendly the staff was at this location! Specifically Baby Parks who I assumed was fixing a game, yet he practically dropped everything to assist my little cousin in finding a game that would be easy enough for him to play. So sweet and it made the environment even more welcoming for my family and I.

PEOPLE BEWARE !!!!! STEER CLEAR OF THIS HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT...The food was terrible, to say the least. My granddaughter was fiven spoiled macaroni and cheese, my daughter and I borh got undercooked brussel sprouts, as well as my cauliflower, the nachos had barely any toppings and was mostly chips, and the sampler platter was another mixture of undercooked and terrible tasting food. Now comes the service, the server we hadbwas beyond terrible, with the worst attitude, rude, with her constant eye rolling

Came here twice on a Wednesday because it's half off the games & it's usually when I have free time in the area. Games are always fun & the food is above average but usually just order appetizers & drinks. Staff is very inattentive. Sat at the bar for 15 mins was looked at & got zero help. They have only 2 bar tenders for the very large bar & both could care less. This happened on both occasions. There appears to be a bearded large gentleman who could be a manager but does absolutely nothing. He looks at ev

Guys!!! Go check this place out if you haven't heard about them even better. We had a blast! This place is great for parties, date nights or even just to hang out. Don't forget to download their app. It's helpful and gives you rewards like on Father's Day. Oh and one last thing check out their VR room sign up first because the wait is roughly an hr on the weekends. It's 10 bucks per person not bad and the staff there are so helpful!!! Thanks guy for taking the time to explain things!

Dave and Busters in Brandon is in a good location with plenty of parking. It is a good size with a lot of games. Everything seemed clean and well kept. These are to positives. The woman at the door who I presume is there to help never learned the word smile and was borderline rude. Note that there were not many people and this seemed to be her only job. Entirely the wrong person to have as the face of a business which is supposed to be selling fun. Highly doubt I will go back again.

I was celebrating my grandson's 1st birthday. We were about 30 or more. The food and the service was great. It's a good place for families to get together. The kids are going to love it. I recommend it. Today November 24, 2021, I was celebrating my grandson's 4th birthday. Boy did he enjoyed ever minute of it. I had flatbread double pepperoni pizza was that delicious. The food and service was great again. The associate that attended us was very helpful and nice too. I still recommended it.

Really fun place to go!! You can sit down and eat, their food was delicious! They had a bar also. Then go play games. They have a fun of games to choose from. It was a great time, everybody had fun. We had ages 4-48 and everyone enjoyed it.

Had a great time at the adult "playground ". I remember playing some games when I was a kid and it was really fun. Some I never saw but tried. We had alot of fun. Can't wait to go back! Food was great too!@!@ That was a definite bonus to the evening!

The Brandon Dave and Buster's is great! The staff was friendly and helpful. It was busy but not too crowded on a Friday night. The food here is surprisingly good. We had the pretzel (which is huge), the shrimp dip, ribs appetizer, and churros. All were delicious. I also had a ceasar salad that was excellent. A very fun night!

Jessie was a good server, food was good. Came to watch UFC 316, asked for one of the tvs around me to be changed to it, never happened. We were asked to move to make room for a larger party then they tried to stick us in a corner where we couldn't see a screw at all. Poor management, seen plenty of servers walking around lost with peoples food. Even seen a manager just sitting with his friends. Went to a ufc event in Orlando and it was much better. If you come here to watch the UFC fights go somewhere else.

I came here with my teenage daughter on a Wednesday for half-priced games. We probably spent about an hour and a half in there. It was a bit crowded and kids were running around all over the place. The gift shop mainly had smaller items and nothing too exciting for us to redeem.

It's pretty fun, they have a lot of games. There's games to win tickets to exchange for prizes and there's also fun games like racing and shooting games, plus food and alcohol, so definitely will be going to go back again soon! ???????????

Ok, so my husband and I go to D&Bs because we have a toddler and it's something fun for us all...and somewhere we can bring her and get a drink without feeling morally corrupt as parents. Anyway, we had rewards for free entres so we got the ribs (because we previously learned that they are shockingly good) but we figured since it was free, we'd get the ribeye (I know--we were expecting an epic fail because most steakhouses these days are subpar let alone a gaming place.). Holy. Crap. It was SO ?? GOOD??. I'

We had an incredible time at Dave & Buster's! Tracy, our manager, was absolutely amazing. Her attentiveness and cheerful attitude made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, Tracy ensured everything ran smoothly and catered to our every need. The games were a blast, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was electric. We couldn't have asked for a better time. Thank you, Tracy, for making our visit so special!

The dining area isn't very big, so may have a long wait. They also charge gratuity for groups of 7 or more. There is great game selection, so it's fun for all ages but very crowded.

We made lunch reservations and needed accommodations for a member of our party. The hostess was exceptional. Wait staff had no issue serving us out-of-the-way. We were checked on and served as timely as anyone else. The table we were seated at was perfect and helped ensure that all of us had a great time. The food was delicious; hot when it arrived and cooked perfectly. We stayed and played, and found the amount of people in the arcade area on a weekend at lunchtime was uncrowded and less. overwhelming than

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
