The wait staff was very nice and attentive. Food came out quickly and was delicious. There's a good variety of games.my husband and I both ate dinner, an entree, sodas, and played games for 2 hours, costing us 100.00. Be prepared to spend a bit of money here if you have a family. Only certain games pay out tickets. The bowling game and the basketball game are the most fun. They also have air hockey tables. I didn't see many games for children under 8- years old. The bowling game and the jug throwing game

The wait was shorter than i was told but there was only 2 of us. The hostess was nice to us but could see others having some trouble communicating with her. There were a lot of larger groups. Our waitress never came so another waitress took over. It was just a weird vibe. They were very busy and didn't seem to have enough staff to help. We just felt like we were in the way of them serving all the larger parties. Other than that the food was really good!!! Only mark for the food was they didn't have sour cre

Amazing place to take the whole family. Great selection of games, nice prizes, not too cramped, very entertaining for folks of old school and new school gaming. Mu personal favorites are Space invaders frenzy, Pac-man battle Royale, Minecraft dungeons, alien, Time crisis 5 and NBA Superstars.

The games are pocket friendly, the food we waited an hour for, they got three out of four orders wrong. We ordered three spicy smash burgers, they brought three all american smash. Brought dessert not even 3 minutes after bringing out our also very cold, wrong food. Ridiculous!

In a galaxy not so far away?more precisely, at the newly renovated Dave & Buster?s?fun and the Force collide. Hmmm, yes. This location, transformed it has been. Sleek, shiny, and full of life, the upgrades to this temple of joy bring balance to gamers of all ages. The Games, You Must Play All machines, flawless they ran. Not a single glitch in the system?a rarity, even for Jedi technology. Favorites of this old Jedi Master include: Top Gun ? Fast and thrilling. Goose and Maverick would approve. RAMPAGE ?

Omg--- they just remodeled again! It's beautiful. We were in the front private event space with our own bar and AV. The food and drinks were great and the atmosphere was even better!

We had such a fantastic time celebrating my middle daughter, Kaylee?s, birthday back in March at Dave & Buster's! The atmosphere was lively, and it was the perfect spot for both kids and adults to enjoy themselves. We started off with a delicious lunch; the menu had something for everyone, and the portions were generous. Once we were fueled up, we hit the game floor?and that's where the real fun began! Kaylee had a blast trying out all the different games, from arcade classics to newer challenges. Watching

Drinks were good! The food was good! Games were fun! Nothing is cheap anymore.lol

We visited while on a sports tournament with the kids. We had a group of 40, and the lady and manager did not want to seat us. It was around 5 pm, in the afternoon, and the reason they gave us was that they were expecting a group of 300 people the next morning. We offered to split our group into smaller groups if that made it easy, but the host did not want to do that either. The place was empty with lots of tables available. As a restaurant manager, I was very surprised to turn down business because you we

The service was really slow and at one point I couldn't find my server. I asked another server for help and she said she isn't allowed to serve others. So I had no choice but to wait. The busboy was more helpful as they at least tried to find my server. The host barely spoke and seemed like she didn't want to be there. She didn't even say hi or smiled. The food was hot but they were confused on what table ordered what. No mocktails either. But my son and his friends had fun playing games.

Staffing and management is a joke here on a Saturday night. I don't know where to start - nasty bathroom, dirty glasses beyond belief at the bar, and no support for the bar staff. This was from 7pm to 9:20pm. The only saving grace was Carvell the bartender. He worked his ass off and took care of us despite having little to no support. He was awesome and kept a great attitude despite all of the challenges thrown at him. Thank you so much Carvell.

We stopped in here to kill some time while we were waiting to check in the hotel. Food was ok. Not much flavor and vary small portions for the price. I guess most people don't stop here for the food. The service wasn't great either. Once our food was dropped off the server didnt come back until she gave us our bill. I wish I would have got a copy of the bill. She grouped our food with another table and I thought that was very strange. I looked it over and the math was right but the more I thought about i

We celebrated my son & daughter-in-law?s wedding with a reception here on September 14. It was great! We had a package deal that included the Party room, buffet, and game card for each guest. The food, especially the ribs, was fantastic. There were many comments on how good the food was. To Go boxes were provided for the leftovers and our guests were happy to take some home. We had the Party room to ourselves, so those who didn't want to play the games had a quiet place to sit, talk, and eat. The service w

We didn't get any food but we did grab a couple drinks at the bar. Service was fast, bartender was professional & nice. A lot of games to choose from. Only a couple were not available to play. Great value for game prices/credits. Large selection of items in the shop where you redeem your tickets for prizes (idk what to call it). It was our first time at a DB and we will definitely be going back.

I went there to celebrate both of my brother's birthdays in a group of five. The dining area was far from the arcade, which was great for talking and laughing. Our server (I think the name was "K") was friendly and kind to us. Overall, I had a great time.

1st time here. We came to celebrate a birthday. Tons of parking available around the building. Tons of game options available. Service was good. Food was good. We came on a Sunday afternoon and spent about 2 hours here and it wasn't too busy at all. Definitely recommend even for a 6 year old; he had a blast.

March 1 2025 family outing 5pm evening earthcity location St Louis mo.very crown but location is very big No service available for two hour is what we were told unless we reserve private social area which we did .waited 30min no one every show to help because social area had separate waiters so young lady that was over there it was time for her to get off so she sends manager Liz over and Liz said she doesn't have anyone to help us so I ask if she could take order she said she would be back in ten min never

I haven't been in years and Sunday was my first time back and I loved it. Me and my basketball team had a great time. Our host and server were perfect. The food and drinks were amazing. I will be returning during spring break and will book future events as well. Thank you Dave & Buster?s for a great time.

It was super fun. Games are half off on Wednesdays so we got the 300 41 40 something and that's four cards 300 each. Those nice played a lot of games, lot of opportunities to win tickets and get great prizes. The food was awesome and delicious. Shout out to Paige who took care of us and the drinks were great too. Also I lost my phone while I was there and the people were very nice and helped me find it. I would advise you to try to keep your phone with you at all times.

We came around 12pm for a Bachelor Party. The food was warm and quick, the games were fun and well maintained, and the atmosphere was clean and inviting. Anytime we had a question or problem, someone was quick to help. Specifically, one employee, Leesa, was extremely friendly and kind, and patiently helped us with redeeming multiple gift cards. She also helped us maximize our spending by giving us a better deal on game chips. She set the tone for the rest of a great experience. Would definitely recomm

Only giving one star because I have to . Probably worst service I've ever had . For starters we were sat and drink orders were taken . Drinks took about 5 minutes and then another 15 for a cocktail. We ordered an appetizer and didn't see our sever for 20 mins . She comes back take food orders and disappear again . After about an hour of being there my husband food comes out . Only his food . Appetizer never came and the kids food never came . Requested a manager twice and had the server explain. How she wo

I reserved a party at Dave n Buster for my niece, not a lot of people showed up as planned, Our server Bailey and the managers on staff today was so kind and welcoming. They really made her feel special on her day . I just wanted to Thank them so much for their kind. , They turned a gloomy day into sunshine for us all.

1. The bathrooms are horrible !!!!! I chose not to eat there because of pee on the floor , no other clean stalls(remind you , the men?s restroom is now the women?s restroom) , tissue everywhere and bathrooms under construction 2. Servers need a customer service check , rude not attentive, playing games instead of cleaning that nasty place ! 3. Bartender was amazing and upbeat , only reason why I made the review ! Nick S, thank you for the service , you're the only thing as a parent that made my night dealin

Server was cheerful but we waited more than an hour for our food. The drinks we ordered never came but we were charged for them and had to see the manager. When the food did get there it was cold greazy and unappetizing. If you're a family looking to have some time together I would avoid Friday Saturday night the building was way too loud with music to even have a conversation. Games for great fun and you didn't have to wait a super long time to play one.

No wait when showing up around 330pm. Our server showed up quickly, a little small talk and our order was in! Food arrived quickly and was excellent. Server kept our area took care of and drinks full. Game room was crazy good my 10 year old and I enjoyed it!. The only thing D&B needs to do is look at the game prices they are a little on the high side for most families to enjoy more than a half hour of game play. I was with a friend and his 5 kids...before they even get a card for each he's Paying 25.00 t

I've probably visited this location 20 times in the past 10 years. I really like the results of their remodeling efforts. They have a good variety on their menu and they change it up just enough to keep it interesting, and the food has never been disappointing. Their game areas have a lot to offer for little and big kids alike and are kept as clean as can reasonably be expected given the traffic. My only complaint is the service. The servers are always friendly but the service is always very slow and they d

I was Skeptical at first (Post Covid Precautions), however I was comfortable with the cleaning and the food was Great!! ( Well... Minus the Mac-n-Cheese! ??) Game room had Plenty to do, attractions not too pricey. Over all $150 got 2 adults and a big Little Person Plenty of food and Fun.

Went for a work team-building event on a weekday. It was very fun. We got lunch and did a team-building game where we split into teams and competed to answer scavenger hunt questions about the different games. Our D&G guide was great.

We had to wait a while for a table but we sort of understood why once we got to the beginning of the line. The had 2 big parties at once and during shift change and we think they were a little bit shaken up. But we were seated right away after we got to the front. The appetizer of chicken strips were not great and you only get 4 for the price was definitely not worth it. We went and played games for a while which was pretty cool. Overall we had a good time.

Best D&B we've ever been to. Gladly took our hockey group of 28 and our server was an absolute boss. Nailed everything to a T! Amazing service, good food, overpriced fun... But worth it. Well done Dave & Buster's StL.

Haven't been to Dave & Busters in a good while.. the upgrades look really cool.. will definitely visit again for the full experience. The only complaint was not enough bar staff, we waited entirely too long for drinks.

1 hour wait for table. Hostess was snotty rude. Could tell she didn't want to be there. Sat at bar. Bartender snotty rude also. Took him 20 minutes to take my order. Food took about 25 minutes to come. Food was good. Flatbread was large and delicious. Price was good. Great game selection. Crowded. Expensive I thought but then everything is expensive nowadays. Armed cops patrolling inside. I thought that was a bad sign but saw no trouble. Noisey. Interesting place.

Food was great, service was immaculate. Someone tried to start a fight with my group and security was very active in de-escalating the problem. It was an enjoyable experience excluding the altercation. I WILL be going back for more family fun, hopefully no negative energy.

Always loud of course but most of the time everyone is respectful and takes turns. They got rid of ski-ball so that's a huge bummer for me. Love going on half price Wednesdays during happy hour you save so much money

Small place, not as many different kinds of games as I would have liked, and the wait for the food was gonna be 45 minutes to get seated on a weekend, ended up going somewhere else to eat, also bathrooms were super dirty, I would check out main event instead.

Still bummed that Dave and busters severely shrunk the menu after covid. I used to love the variety they had. Now it's one page and very limited. The 2 items I do love and will order again are the fish and chips "biggest fish fillet I've ever seen" perfectly cooked and love the texture and flavor of the breading. And the mushroom burger is a good portion, juicy and flavorful. I can't remember what the pasta is called now but it it awful, lacks flavor and a very small portion compared to other things on the

My husband and I went here for the first leg of our 19yr anniversary. We'd never eaten there, but loved the arcade area. We were greeted by Star in the restaurant. She was absolutely amazing. It was like being at a friend's house who wanted you to try their food. She was kind, funny, honest, informed on the menu, helpful, sincere. We didnt have to ask for anything. She knew and was always ontime with her checkups and assistance. I cannot sing her praises enough. Because of her, this is our new favorite rest

Always fun @D&Bs. We go to all of them nationwide and only compare them against themselves. This location is good. It's not the best, but it's worth a trip. The food is okay, the vibe is good. The game floor bartending was ridiculously slow. I waited 5 mins at the bar trying to get the bartender's attention to grab a drink, but she was too busy to look my way. Even with a hand in the air. Oh well. They had fun games. Either way...As I said, it's worth a trip. Also, be mindful that the parking lot reeks of M

First time there. Amazing service. Our waitress was so informative. She helped with getting us cards and setting them up. Food was good. Got to try the truffle french fries. OMG!!! They were awesome. Ive never had them before and the waitress said if I didn't like them she would replace them for me at no cost. The games were fun. Will definitely do back.

Hot fresh absolutely delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked, hot, juicy. The pretzel sticks out of this world.

We came just to have dinner and to watch college football. Food is really good and will be coming back for dinner another time. This is a really fun atmosphere for football lovers, forget going to a place like Buffalo Wild Wings, come here instead for the big game.

Went sunday at 5 pm. Sat at the upstairs bar for 15 min. Never got acknowledged or served. Went into the game room and sat at the bar again. Waited 15 min with the bartender walking past us not even saying hi, looking at us, etc. I finally asked after about 15 min if we were sitting in the wrong spot and he said "hey. I'm here by myself" and kept walking. Never came back. There were maybe 10 people sitting at the bar. We left.

I was there for a singles event. Everyone had a good time. The food was good.

Why is all this contractor stuff in windows? You think customers are reading this? Get this paperwork off the windows and in an office. Why even do it this way?

I've decided that I hate this place. They are not only rude and give wrong information, they don't have customer service that works for them or does a thing. There were plenty of people that day to take 200- 300 of my money and gave me wrong cards that didn't work. I'd love to rate them a negative one for everything across the board. We were told that they had all kinds of great deals until we got there, then there weren't any unless it was a special day or time. AFTER we paid

We don't often eat here but we like to visit to play the coin pushers. They have several types and it's a good time. Not overly busy, when machines get stuck or break attendants are ready to help, over all a good place to spend an afternoon! Edit after response: I held back the fifth star because this time when I visited the women?s restroom was out of order. I had to walk to a back room and queue for the two stalls that were available to all women in the establishment? if they're fixed the next time I'm b

Food was very bad quality. Paid $20 for the steak power bowl. Steak was overcooked, guacomole was brownish. Just terrible looking and quite bland. The food looked nothing like the pictures and tasted very bland. Not enough staff. Took about 35 minutes before the server/bartender could provide me service. I was told 3x's it just be a minute. And staff just not efficient, one of the members at our table would asked for a refill and he wouldn't even bother checking the rest of the table before running off. So

I did not drink, eat, or interact with the staff while I was here, I used the kiosk to get a game card and explored/played a lot of arcade games. The atmosphere is pretty nice, it's modern and inviting, however there's a ton of people here pretty much at all times. If you're not feeling very social, you won't like this. For a night out, to be a little rowdy and energetic with some friends, this was a super great spot. Also, if you like sports, I'd also recommend this spot. UFC 313 was on on giant TVs. Lots

We had a good time! Despite the fact that we had heard this place had "fell off". Food was, ok, but we were hungry so it hit the spot! Games were in good shape and there was a pretty good selection. I would come back, but eat first and play more!

So we went there to celebrate my friend's birthday only to see 4 cop cars at the entrance and a bunch of teenagers getting escorted out. We had to wait a hour to be seated to eat so we went to play some games. Not a good selection of games there plus there were a couple that were broken. Once our table was really we were seated...I will add that the redesign of the food area looks more like a food court and it was disappointing from what I remember what it used to look like before. The kitchen (not the wait

Service was slow. Seems like they were understaffed. We had a group of 3. We all ordered all you can eat wings (Thursday evening) First round had about 12 wings. Once finished with those, we waited and waited...eventually Had to flag down waiter to order more wings after our first round. Then took a looong time to get second round of wings, which was only 6 wings. Wanted to order more, but wasn't willing to wait. As we dined..we observed a few families come in to dine...they stood and waited for a

Fun environment overall. They just remodeled a bunch of stuff so it's really nice and updated in there! The bathroom was closed for remodeling which was pretty rough. There's another one on the other end of the building but it's kinda inconvenient. It's pretty expensive to play here but the kids always have fun. The seating is tricky. If you are only there for games, they don't really allow you to take a table because they are always busy for food too! I understand that but it would be nice to have some sea

This was my first visit to a Dave and Buster's and I had a great time! The games were fun and the virtual reality experiences were super cool, even if they did make me sick. The taco appetizers were delish but the burger and fries were not really very flavorful at all. The service was also a little slow and delayed. Those two things are where it loses a star. The staff were all very nice and friendly! Overall good experience.

Update: Stopped in today and talked to the GM about this. The person that made me so upset is no longer with the company and he applogized with loading coins onto my card. He's a great manager and has made a lot of great staffing decisions. I'll be coming back again soon! Original: I came in for my birthday yesterday. The arcade is just too expensive. I had a very rough morning and was hoping to have a better night. Instead I experienced deceptive marketing, staff that put the value of a stuffed animal ove

Holiday Sneak Peek at Dave and Busters was a great way to see what they can do for holiday parties. They provided food, ideas, and a game card. Me and my daughter had a lot of fun!

Having been there several times to play games. This was our first time to eat there. I had Buffalo Wings, which I must say were delicious. Plump, juicy, saucy. Everything I look for in a wing.

Went yesterday to enjoy the arcade. We arrive, recharge our power cards using the automated kiosk, then proceed down the hallway to the arcade. We were stopped by a lady who told us we were not allowed to bring our water into the arcade (we had 2 bottles of water). No big deal, 2 of the 3 of us proceeded back to our vehicle to return the bottled water. Upon entering back, the lady who asked us to take the water back then approached the 3rd person with us and said ?how old are you?? She the informed him that

A little pricey for the games that where average. I'd like to see them use regular arcade games like more of the classics. Some machines didn't work. Food was okay, your typical arcade style food. Overall it's fun for families. I ended up paying over $200 for 3 people for about 3 hours of straight play. So yes it's a little expensive. And the little one didn't make much in points so the win items were limited. I'd recommend it if you have little ones and have a little extra money to spend...

Delicious food. Great service. Celebrated grandsons graduation. Had so much fun and good food and drinks.

The pregnant female bartender with color hair in the front of her head was working Saturday overcharged my card and my friend?s mom card. She didn't even say anything until my friend?s mom ask why she charge her card twice and gave her two different receipts and then she proceeded to run my card and do the same thing. Why would you swipe our cards and see the printed receipt total is different from the cash register total. That's when you should have got the manager, not after you charged both of our cards

Being in an arcade brings back a lot of memories, and now that they are bringing back the original games it's double. Who ever thought you would ever see pong again?! It was fun, but I think the games are a little too expensive, but I did grow up when you still used quarters, maybe I'm just too old to think $62 should go longer than a couple hours.

Your standard arcade experience. They offer no packages or combos to play. Some of the games were malfunctioning or down altogether. The wings were good and a decent size. It's worth going once if you have never been.

Had an awesome time seeing my family enjoy themselves. The staff was super welcoming and professional. The location was very clean and well up to standard with health procedures. I found my children their new happy place. This was the first time in almost 3 years since we had visited a D&B after we moved from NY, needless to say we will be returning!

Very nice, upkept arcade, right off of the Highway! I had a very fun time, food was tasty, skeeball was very fun, and got a lot of tickets of of it, you have a lot to choose from for prizes, whether you got less tickets or a lot of tickets, as a gamer myself, I loved this Dave & Busters, will be back when I get a chance!

What a mess and a rip off! Overly priced, bathrooms are despicable! Hosts were rude, didn't seem to want to help, like we inconvenienced them to do their job. The only good thing was the food was ok and our waiter Justin was great! Everything else was horrible.

Service was terrible. After ordering drinks and food nobody bothered to check on us and we had to track down server every time we needed a drink refill. I received my 30 dollar supposed to be cooked medium ribeye. but was more than well done. After complaining they agreed to replace my steak but took longer than the first time. I will never be back

Great new menu items and love most of their remodeling. Didn't like that they only have 1 desk for redeeming gift cards, coupons, customer card help, etc since they can't be done at kiosk. Had to wait a while for the Arena for a staff member. But overall had a great time and won a lot of prizes!

This Dave and Buster was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bulding was clean and well staffed. The waitress was awesome kept all our drinks full and was great at telling the teens about how Dave and busters worked. All the games were in great working order. The Prize store at things stocked and priced for every winner The only problem we had was my original stake was over cooked. They corrected it quickly and the second stake was cooked perfect

Food was great. Would have liked to see the chicken strips cooked for about 2 more minutes. That's just a me thing.

I don't like the game selection that Dave& Buster's at all and I don't like the fact that the all you can eat wings. If you leave some over from what you were eating they won't give you a box. The music they play is way too loud. I left with a headache

The environment was nice. It took over 20min for a server to acknowledge us, and it wasn't busy. My food was made incorrectly and it was not appeasing . I'd go back, but for the games and not to dine.

Went to this location while in St. Louis for a family reunion.....it was fun like most Dave & Buster's. BUT the food was better!! ?? Had a lot of fun and a really good dinner! And the dessert was the BOOM!!

The experience was fabulous. The servers were above and beyond to make sure everything was satisfactory.

We normally love Dave and Busters. The renovation is great. The women's bathroom being under construction was terrible and the party bathroom was nasty. It stunk and needed to be cleaned. We had Scott at the bar in the gaming area. HE WAS HORRIBLE. I don't know if he just didn't pay attention or if he's just stupid. I ordered a Dangerous waters island punch, which is supposed to be green or blue and he brought me a purple drink instead. On the food, I ordered the pretzel dogs. He brought me pretzel stick

Update, they've renovated and it is so modern now! A must try! Great food, good atmosphere, good game selection, nice staff, and wonderful management. Perfect for the whole family.

As soon as you walk in this place, you immediately just want to chillax or play your heart out in the arcade. The food was decent, definitely not the best I've had, but next time it'll be alcoholic beverages and games. The whole group had a blast with games and prizes. Friendly staff, ok service. Be prepared to spend an arm and a leg.. maybe a few toes as well to have enough money on the game cards to actually satisfy your minions or yourself to earn enough points to redeem a prize. Will return, but just fo

IDK if they are short-handed but we tried to ask them to play the digital darts and they kept referring us to different people, had to ask for a manager and he got us on the game but never educated us on how to do it in the future. One of the darts wasn't working but we just reused one of the other ones. Wanted to try the arena and same thing happened, sent to front desk, she sent us to go stand by the game and he asked if I paid I said no she told us to stand here and wait for someone. He finally showed us

Wait staff are very attentive. The food is great. The menu has reduced the number of items offered. It gets crowded in the evenings.

My wife surprised me for my birthday by taking me here. We had a great time. We both got the Mushroom Stout burger and Truffle fries. They were delicious and the tea was almost as good as I make it. The arcade section was very clean and there were only 2 or 3 games that were out of order. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The prices are a little steep, but overall, it's worth it for a good time. We would go back again.

Was absolutely ridiculous, was told show up 30m early to get seating for group. We did, and still waited 2 hours to get seated and then we weren't given enough chairs. We tried asking what was going on and was told we were rude so waitress didn't serve our group. We waited 20 minutes then people left. No One was helpful, and while asking for the manager the hostess said she was uncomfortable and left without helping. Sad cause we always tip very well because some of us have worked similarly and understand.

Always have an awesome time here. Family night was great. They have the best drinks to me. You want great drinks. Come here. You won't be disappointed. Food is always good too. Their ribs are not really tender though. I wouldn't suggest their ribs. It's no steakhouse or bbq joint.

Have enjoyed Dave and Busters for the last 15yrs and this was first attempt to use this location. Customer service is lacking in this location recommend either driving to another or going to a compeditor. Second Response I did reach out have not heard back I did call and talk to I belive Maggy ? She said This is missouri its not the same as AR, suggested walkin and saturdays are busy so she wouldnt help out.

Way too many people for me and we could barely find a seat to sit.We ended up going to the bar and the bartender was too busy to recommend us a drink?I was also charged 30.00 extra for a ribeye we never bought. My better half caught that mistake? The bathroom was horrible, toilet paper on the floor ,just a mess .My 11 year old daughter loved it Lol

Great place to have fun and food. But be prepared to spend money for your fun. Great deal for the games and great for a date night. My boys said pretzel dogs were very salty. Just a heads up if you order.

Easter weekend 2021 I went for the first time. I was pretty impressed, every single person had a mask on and kept it on the whole time Bathroom was clean. I saw staff walking around with disinfectant spray. All the tables were socially distanced. Overall it was clean. All the games were a blast!!. The only negative thing I could say was that the "prize room" had very few things to choose from. Staff stated that they did not get a shipment they were expecting.

Lots of unsupervised youth running around. You will most certainly catch a contact high from all the blunts smoked. The boneless wings were very dry. The bars are under staffed. The games are fun though.

This place was so much fun! I took the kids here for their birthday, and they had a blast! The burgers were the best I've had in a while!

The food was really good! The salmon is awesome. Alot of the games card readers were damaged, some of them were still operational despite being smashed. I went early 4pm on a Friday to avoid a heavy drinking crowd, I had a child with me, the place was pretty empty, great for us! I did notice the smell of Marijuana very strongly throughout the arcade area, I didn't notice anyone using, but the aroma was very, very strong. When we were leaving I noticed security detail at the entrance, I would definitely rec

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
