Dave & Buster's Springfield

Dave & Buster's Springfield

Reviews Summary

Dave & Buster's offers a fun, lively atmosphere with a wide variety of games for all ages, though some machines may be broken or overpriced. Food quality is generally praised, especially burgers and truffle fries, but service can be slow or inconsistent, with complaints about mandatory gratuity. Weekends and peak hours are crowded, leading to long waits for tables or drinks. Happy hours and half-price game days are highlights. While many enjoy the family-friendly environment and attentive staff, others criticize limited beer selections, lukewarm food, and underwhelming prizes. Overall, it’s a solid spot for entertainment, but experiences vary.

The foods always going to be average, no matter what Dave and busters you go to. However, the atmosphere in this place is so much more ypdated compared to the fair oaks location. They have fans at the Pump it up dance game which allows for more games and rest-ability. Will def come back to play pump it up!

They served the biggest burger and the best burger for the money and It was good. Great...and the server Devontee and the cook ran place all by themselves....fast... Huge egg onion lettuce and tomato maynaise with two big double patties... I don't want to make a frivolous statement but it might be the best burger I ever bought...11.00 it's ok...this ain't McDonald's brah...huge... I love when I have to struggle eat it all... The pictures don't do it justice

I loved the ambiance and the games available at this venue. I was very disappointed that it took us an hour to get our meal. The server came and apologized for the long wait, and the manager on duty amended our bill.

Didn't eat? Much nicer than my local D&B in Pittsburgh. Games seemed to work well and had a large variety. All 4 kids had a blast and left with a smile!

I went on a Saturday and this place was big enough to accommodate a lot of people. There are plenty of games for kids and adults. The prizes that you can redeem are okay. This place is huge so kids can play and adults can sit at the bar and just watch some games. The food surprised me the most. It is actually pretty good and good enough to come just for food. The service is fine and the atmosphere is friendly. I have nothing to complain about EXCEPT that the bathroom is for one person at a time.

Dive into deliciousness! This Southwest Salmon Bowl boasts perfectly cooked salmon, crisp veggies, and fluffy rice. A protein powerhouse that tastes as good as it looks. Highly recommend!

This location was a great experience. Not too terribly busy as we went on a Wednesday. I'll fill you in on a secret for getting the best bang for your buck! If you have a Costco membership, you can purchase $100 of Dave and busters gift cards for $80. Then you can purchase a $100 play card, and go during Wednesday for half price games. This strategy kept us playing for multiple hours!! :)

It was a cool day, decided to make a booking for a birthday party dinner. But we didn't have a party theme or anything special for our special guest as I requested. But overall the service was great. FYI anyone making reservations make sure make a note for the restaurant for your party request.Food was very delicious thanks to the kitchen who prepare.

The food there is great. The waiters are pretty kind and attentive. The "Eat, Drink, and Play" is the offer I've been using and it's saved us plenty of money and allows my wife and I to play arcades is convenient.

Had a great time with games and food. Service given by my waitress and bartender were great and can't complain. Decided to get the summer pass and then grabbed dinner. Not knowing exactly how to use it when it came to using it for a discount on food and drinks. I was attended very well and given my check. I forgot to ask how to go about my discount. I went up to the bar since i saw a manager there whose name was Tom. Told him i had the summer pass and asked how do i use it for a discount. He said he would h

Went over to have a bite to eat and use a coupon we got in the mail. Our server Joey was super attentive and helpful. Felt very satisfied coming here for the burgers and nachos. Will definitely return again.

We came for the food only. Ordered the $5 fried pickles (soooo good!), $5 nachos (had to get a huge side of cheese, they were kinda plain but the cheese made them totally yummy!), pepperoni flatbread & chicken salad. All in all a great meal for us. We'd return again for the happy hour food. No pics of the pickles since we gobbled them so fast!

I come to D&B a lot and have the highest loyalty level. The staff makes an effort, but they have not modernized their food service and there are not enough staff to keep pace on busy days. Many times in a row now have been plagued with ultra slow service and apologetic servers, with seemingly disengaged managers. The Yardhouse upstairs has figured this out and D&B should take some notes. Put ordering kiosks on each table or enable app ordering, and have food runners deliver and refresh drinks. Your custome

I have visited this location a few times and it has never disappointed. The food is awesome and the service is beyond excellent. We have had the same server, Joel. He has always provided great service and is probably the best server we have ever experienced while eating out. Definitely recommend and ask to sit in Joel?s section. You will not be disappointed!

Brought my 6y here for his birthday, he had a blast! So did I (I played the Star Wars VR game, impressive! ) . Located in a very clean, not crowded shopping mall. We visited on a weekday, and the price was a bargain. A lot of restaurant choices in the mall.

I've been to better D&B, but it has been a while. The person at the front desk selling the swipe cards didn't say a word until I told her what I wanted. She just sat there while I tried to figure out which card I wanted. She was very cold. We sat down to eat and was seated in the bar section. Either the server was cold or I had the wrong expectation after dealing with the receptionist. He warned up when we ordered. The food area was great, we had the parmesan fries and pretzel dogs. Both better than averag

When I arrived to this area I expect to see some of the greatest achievements of man. The White House, the Lincoln memorial , the Washington monument. But after those stupid things bored me out I found the real greatest achievement of America. Dave and busters in Springfield Virginia. When I walked into the White House and met the president I was bored to tears because there was no games, no beer, nor any good food. But at David and boosters I was having the time of my life surrounded by great beer, fantast

Had not been back for five years and wanted to see if anything had changed. Wanted to sit at the bar and eat but could not get served. After going and getting seated at a table, the service was great. Had the Brekky Smash Burger with Fries GPT. The burger was flavorful and well presented. The fries were tasty but barely warm. Had the Electric Blue Tini dessert cocktail. It tasted nice. Put a bit of a tingle on your tongue. Will probably be five more years before I return.

I had a great experience! If you're going there to eat, I would highly recommend asking for Stephanie because she is really good at what she does. Very patient, caring, and attentive to all her tables. She is amazing!

I went over the weekend and the food was great, staff was kind and helped with everything we needed. The General Manager Amy was walking around and came to the table to see if we needed anything, she was kind and pleasant. Was a 10 out of 10 experience!

Note - Parking at this location on the weekend can be a bit challenging at times, especially while the parking Fara is under construction. Came here to say for a happy hour after work. Service was prompt and friendly, and we had no issues getting a seat. The visual stimulation was intense with all the screens, lights, and beeping noises from the arcade. If that's what you're looking for, Dave and Busters delivers. Otherwise I found to a bit too much.

This post is to wish Robbie Rob a happy birthday! We just met him tonight, but wanted to share that we found him attentive, kind, and humorous. He told us which nights he bartends and we plan to come back on those nights specifically to sit at the bar?and, I don't even drink. He was just that fun the be around!

today I really enjoyed my experience. The food was delicious and fresh, and the kids really loved the new games. Chris, our server, gave us a delightful experience. Will return very soon

Last night we had a Men?s Fellowship meeting/ dinner at Dave and Busters. Our Waitress, Syria provided excellent Service throughout the entire night. The venue was absolutely packed but she still kept an attentive eye on us. Her Manager Derrick, observed that we were waiting on better seating due to the upcoming Boxing event that was being Aired at the Venue. Mr. Derrick is truly a Professional and a Man of his word. We spent about four hours fellowshipping, eating and enjoying the overall experience. I am

This was my first time ever visiting a Dave & Busters and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was really good. Our Hostess was friendly and our waiter was great. The kids had a blast. I definitely recommend this place

My family and I always have an AMAZING exeperience at this location. The servers are polite and always willing to assist with any questions we have.

Guy bartender that works here has the worst attitude when helping people. No one at the front and we needed help with our cards, which he seemed bothered to help us with even though there was only one other guest sitting at the bar.

Dave & Buster's restaurant, lower level inside a large arcade room. They automatically add an 18% gratuity to your check, they do however above total have a line where you to either add or subtract from that gratuity. I despise establishments that automatically add tips or gratuities and extras to the check. If you want to tip you better be providing a service that is good. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time but unfortunately most of it was served lukewarm, little on the cold side, the frenc

This place has absolute trash for service, staff, And managment. Tried to stop in today around 1:30pm for lunch and some fun. There was 1 other table sat when we arrived and no one else waiting to be seated. Once we got seated, we waited for 15mins before I asked the seating staff if they could send a server to our table. She rolled her eyes and said ?yeah?. During the 15 min wait, multiple servers walked past us, made eye contact and just walked away. We then waited an additional 10mins before we decided t

I was traveling and stopped at this Dave and busters, it was the cleanest I've ever been too. Food was great and the service was even better! The manager Stephen stopped by our table and had great conversation, very welcoming!

First time going to a Dave and Busters and I must say it wasn't so bad. I would come again but would try something different, they don't have very much to choose from on the menu but I guess you are really going for some drinks and game play. The truffle fries are to die for in my opinion I definitely recommend getting them. Over all the experience was fun and I would come back.

The food quality has definitely risen since I went a few years ago. The vibe is always upbeat and fun. Its hard ro find a person to help with something dealing with a game though. Good experience overall. Will go back for sure.

Our server Diamond was excellent! The food and drinks were great! My daughter and granddaughter had so much fun. I prefer this location over Silver Spring any day!

The customer service here was great there was enough staff members to help all around. This was great it made us feel like VIP and us if the games ripped us off or got broken for a minute, Staff seemed extremely eager to help and were helpful. This made our night... the whole place seem exceptional. Food was good, drinks good but pricey for the size, but worth it because the place was so great. We attended a company party here and it was a really great time... highly recommend

This was my 2nd time here in like a year. They have many games and is attractive to the eye but there are many games out of service or not working properly to where you are wasting money. Sensor errors or just not working at all. The big pac man game jobs/ handles do not function properly, the ufc game freezes and doesn't read or continue, the baseball throwing wouldn't read any of my targets, the elevator shooting game has very bad aim calibration, and my kids told me about lots of other malfunctions. So t

I think another person may rate it a little higher, but it was a bit much a couple of hours in. People were everywhere. A lot of the games were broken, or the calibration was off. All and all we had a very good time. It just wasn't perfect, which is very hard to do anywhere, let alone with all the people who were there that noght

I don't even know where to begin. Came to this Establishment to celebrate a birthday party if course for a child. This place served our children raw hamburgers that we're super red. Service was slow. Waited well over a hour for 3 orders of buffalo wings in which after a hour I received 1 order of buffalo wings, 1 order of chicken balls, and my the other wings went to a whole different party group. They really messed up here. My question to all of the parents, would you serve your young child hamburgers that

Robbie was an absolute pleasure to have. I've had a lot of experiences with bartenders but Robbie made a good experience into a perfect experience, I'd give him 10 stars if I could! Thank you so much for the experience.

Customer service is a dying art that needs to be taught to your employees. Dave & Buster's just refunded my bill.. too bad they lost a costumer for life-the young boys you tried to rip off never want to go back

Great staff but the experience was lacking - when I think of an arcade I don't think of a joint that is 90% skil/chance games. I think of Street Fighter, House of the dead, rail shooters like Jurassic Park and Terminator *which they did have* but we're profoundly overpriced. Bring back the classic cabinet rows and you'll have a superior product you won't be able to have a slow night.

Took the kids... they loved it. I expected a so so menu similar to the mouse place but was pleasantly surprised. The food is really good and this is a great family place, but be sure to take advantage of their specials or it can get very expensive. Overall we liked it and we'll definitely be back again

Every time I go here I have so much fun with my family. They always update the games they have from vr to slots, and i can drink and play at the same time. What more would you want to have fun with family or friends.

The deal combo they have here for the smash burger and game card is unbelievable.

We participated in a catered in a private room. Food wasn't the best (pizza with apparent slices of cheese thrown over top) but service was great. It was pretty crowded overall but that is to be expected for a weekend night.

We love going to D&B. I bought the winter passes which are a great deal, if it works and covers the games you like. It doesn't cover our favorite game and we didn't find out till after the purchase, but we tried new games and that was cool. Service was hit and miss. The guy at the front door was great and very helpful. There were two bartenders. One was helpful but seemed new. The other did what we needed but seemed unhappy to do it. We used our pass but weren't offered a bill, so I'm not sure if the disco

D&B is in a busy part of town, so parking is tricky. We bought a pair of All-You-Can-Play cards for the kids and teens and they all had a blast. Cards are good for unlimited Blue light games, and if they enjoy ticket collecting... come loaded with $8 bonus play. Seating in the restaurant is quite limited, at the time, wait was over an hour. Bar area is first come, so settle in and get better than average service. Food combos are the way to go... Philly cheese steak sliders, chicken fingers and fries can fe

???? Their food is okay, we honestly only go there for gatherings and family/friends celebrations as the food is not even served hot/warm when we receive our meals. ???? Servers though are always friendly and try to give good suggestions. ?? Their floors and other areas are always quite dirty. We understand the gaming area, however, the dining area should be more sanitary. ?? Could be cleaner and have better lighting. ??

Went on a Monday night at 8pm..The $5 Special was a joke of an appetizer. Brought us a bunch of crumbled nachos from the bottom of the bag on a plate and barely any topping. They don't have much of a beer selection and their Sunday/Monday $3.99 a pint special is limited to 4 domestic light beers. Took 15-20min to get my second round and they added 18% mandatory service charge for bad service. Won't be going back.

The perfect place to reconnect with an old elementary school friend! Special thanks to the bartender Rob, who welcomed us warmly, made great drinks and kept everyone at the bar smiling right along with him!

The young lady at the stand where you get play cards was not friendly at all, nor was she helpful with answering questions. You should have energetic and friendly associates working in that area and not ones who are just there for a paycheck.

Dave and Busters is always, ALWAYS one of the best things to do, and it is always a great experience. Our server Keke was the absolute best. She was attentive and sweet. She checked in on us. My wife and our son and I loved it. My son and I loved playing the duck claw machine by far is the best game

First time here for daughters birthday and we had a blast! Food was great and our service was excellent. I would highly recommend for adults and children. Final plus was every game was on so I could keep up with Sunday football ??.

Took our son and his friend for early birthday fun (May 26) because he will be having surgery on his foot eventually both but he has flat feet they are making an arch about 3months recovery. Anyway he'll be on a knee scooter so we wanted him to have some fun B4 he's laid up. Thank you for the delicious food, games and fun. We always have great service from as you walk into the building, attendees to the machines, the waiter, waitresses, chef, prize area, to even the person cleaning the tables and taking pl

It's always challenging to find a table open for more than 2. Wait times for a table is usually long during nfl games. Prizes are usually always picked through but when if your there after restock you have plenty to choose from. Positive side most games work and food has been decent. Update- we have been pretty happy with our trips here. The seats at the bar were taken but I told the bar tender we were looking for 3 weats and he offered me 1 on the side of the bar and he found us an extra seat. We have bec

Been coming for years, have played nearly 45k chips at this location and every time I come there are issues with the machines taking credit off your card but not giving you credit for the machine and/or the machine breaks down. It's 50/50 if staff address the issue. On at least two occasions I've had the same staff member walk away without resolving the issue and without even acknowledging me.

Robbie was amazing! We had a large party but in the midst of the chaos he was calm, cool, and collected and still cracked jokes with us. Customer service was outstanding and I look forward to seeing him in the future!

I rarely do a bad review but our time here was stressful. We returned the burger twice, the first time it was undercooked and the second time they turned it into a hockey puck. When bitten into it tasted like coal. The servers were nice, but the food came out at weird times, and it took an hour to get a fountain drink. The whole kitchen system was unorganized and messy. The steak was also cooked very weirdly, it seemed like they just put the steak in the oven and briefly put it on the grill. Also half the g

This restaurant is exceptional for spending time with family, friends, and kids. The kid-friendly environment allows your children to play with various games while you enjoy your drinks. I absolutely adore this place! It's not only lovely but also offers ample parking.

This is my first time to visit Dave & Buster's. Upon entering the main entrance there is a service desk but no hostess. There was a printed message on the counter stating that this desk is closed. I decided to go to the right and enter into the lounge area. I asked one of the waitress if I need to be seated or can I sit anywhere. She said to pick anywhere and someone will be with me soon. A minute after sitting down a waitress stopped by to take our order. When the hot tea arrived we noticed that the tea ba

Great location! Nice management, managers and technicians are cool, weekend front desk staff not so friendly sometimes. Staff at the WIN are awesome. We redeemed our first big prize here, a PS5!

I had a waiter, big black guy with dreads. Myself and a friend sat at a table that was already occupied by 2 people we didn't know. When our billed came we noticed we were charged as a group when there was myself and one person with me. Also the 2 other strangers at my table paid separately from each other and were charged as a group. The group charge guarantees a 20% tip. This is terrible that someone would do this to maximize their tip especially when someone is by themselves. It's a cheap trick and the b

Fun games and good food but it took forever to get a table. We went there around lunch time no waitress at the reception counter and in the restaurant so we went to play the games first. We came back again and decided to go to ask a waitress who walked pass us for a table. Also, it took lots of time for my food.

Stopped by to grab beer and lunch. We got the 50 Oz beer tower for $20. The burgers were 5 ??. Truffle fries are great also.

My husband and I stopped in for a snack and cocktails on Saturday. We had great service with Joel! He was super nice and a great bartender. We will definitely go back soon.

Wednesday happy hours and half price games are amazing, Also Rob was a great bartender, very energetic and friendly??????

I loved Robbie ! He was the funnest bartender I've ever had ! Her came here for event for our job and ended at the bar with him and he made it feel so safe and fun ! Would come back just for him ?

My husband and I had never been to a Dave and Buster?s and thought it would be a fun outing for the two of us. We started off at the bar with the intention of having drinks and some light food before playing games and then having actual dinner. We sat at the bar and waited quite a bit before being acknowledged despite six workers being in the immediate area. Since we were planning on eating dinner there later, my husband ordered the side dishes of the Fries GPT and the Garlic Parm Brussels sprouts. We got o

Awesome establishment. I really liked the set up of this one. Very spacious and a lot of games to play. I do wish they had employees walking the play area to assist with broken games and/or questions/assistance with games. The food was really good. Our waiter was very attentive even with the amount of tables he had. We had a large party and he was able to handle it well. Would definitely come back to this one.

We recently went for my Birthday! The food was excellent, the games were fun, the only complaint I had is that they did not have any candy at the prize counter when I went.

Our smile-free, pinkish-haired hostess insisted our autistic son eat in a noisier section. Good burger, but it was served ten minutes after our children were served. My $13 drink had about half a shot in it, and my wife's IPA was weak but they failed to charge her for it. Awful bathroom scene as the photos will attest. Not returning.

We went to the Halloween event at this Dave and busters and had an absolute blast! Everybody from the event organizers, to the waitstaff, and hosts, were amazingly kind and accommodating! We've previously attended a new year?s event here, and our high hopes were met and then some. The event seemed geared towards children what with the adorable goodies handed out; including but not limited to spooky coloring sheets, but I think adults/teens with a good sense of humor will always enjoy the events this establi

The service worker was overwhelmed by himself working, the food wasn't too bad. My daughter enjoyed it.

Our servicer April was amazing!! She was very nice and attentive to our table! Our table ordered the creamy chicken pasta and the spicy smash burger, the food came out hot and it was delicious. The drinks were also 10/10. I highly recommend coming to the Dave n Busters Springfield location!

Rob was fun, attentive, and a great bartender and server! I hope the next time I'm there I get Rob as my bartender!

Come for the games, not the food and skip the mixed drinks! Great selection of games to play. The kids ran thru 170 tokens in about 30 min, each. There's also no where to sit of you aren't playing or eating. The bar...the SPORTS bar...like how do you not know if you have a rotating tap? And where's the alcohol in the "walk the plank?" And they ran out of the light up ice cubes but charge full price for sprite with crushed ice. The "seasoned" fries are just salt and pepper. Just eat before you come.

good atmosphere, servers nice but too busy the day we went, Kids had fun

Place seems OK but my only issue is just like everyone else's. The bar is unorganized in my opinion. I wanted to get a drink at 7:30 pm on Tuesday and the lady told me to order at some designated area for a drink. I was going to sit down and eat at the bar but this deterred me. I went around a little and came back. Mind you right now it's not busy at the bar and there are at least 5 people at the OPPOSITE end of the bar. So I'm at the "designated area" to order drinks. Took about 5 min for someone to come u

Robbie was a great bartender and the best part of my experience! He was very friendly and welcoming and made great drinks, I will be returning!

I wasn't disappointed by my visit. We came to the mall for lunch, specifically &Pizza but they didn't open until 11 am on a Saturday. So we opted to spend 30 minutes in D&B then grab lunch. This is my 5th Dave & Busters visit and while it feels more compact than others - Nashville, Rockville, Arundel Mills and Capitol Heights, it's designed nicely. There are many new games too. Parking was easy. No was really arrived until 11:15 but it wasn't crowded. The place felt extremely clean. I would definitely retur

It's a fun place, clean. I don't usually go for food so I rated it a 3. I kind of wish the prizes weren't just things that could be easily purchased. Overall we go to game but I think prize system could be altered to make it more worth your time. (Example being a Roomba for 100,000 points... just a crazy amount of time and money for something that could otherwise be bought for much less than what you would spend to get the points for it in the first place )

Edit: 2nd time around. This place is so terrible. We called ahead they said they don't take reservations but they had plenty of tables. That was a lie. We got there and it was an hour and a half wait and we were discouraged from even putting our party on the list because they wouldn't seat after 10. They had an entire section of tables that they we not using because they supposedly can't. But you van clearly see stickers on every other table that say "can't seat". To make things even better the women said I

PSA: Game cards purchased at the table are included in the subtotal for tipping. Unless you know the subtotal on food and drink, there is no easy way to tip on just the service.

It's Dave and Busters so of course it was fun. I do wish the games didn't break as easy as they do and on a Wednesday they didn't even half of the prizes stocked. The service was good and the food was fairly appetizing for bar food. The table taps were pretty cool, you can be the bar tender at your own table.

As usual Dave & Buster busy on Sunday Night Football. Liked the crowd. Ordered Manchego Chicken & all day Rose...Enjoyed it! AWESOME!

Food was pretty good and the service was good. Of course it is the usual overpriced games, but we did go on a day when games were half price (which really means each game uses half the amount of points to play) so you get more for your money. The major downside for us was the bathrooms were incredibly disgusting. They were so bad that when we needed to use the restroom we left and went into the mall to use a different restroom and then went back in. Staff was quick to help us when we had a problem with one

I did not eat here, but played games in their arcade. The staff were friendly and helpful, they had plenty of games that were mostly all in good condition. It was not too crowded and I only had to wait for two games. It was a little loud going in there but you got used to it quickly. Everything was a nice and clean. In general you get good value as far as how many games you can play with just $25, with some games being over more quickly than others. And I only had to wait for two games. My only critiques wo

If you're looking for a whole day of indoor fun. I highly recommend this place, the kids will be exhausted. The new 3D Jurassic Park virtual machine is cool, but short for 5 bucks a view. Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
