The atmosphere is exactly what you expect of an arcade. The food was mediocre. Chicken sandwich came out with a soggy un. If you don't like soggy butter drenched pretzels, I suggest asking them to hold the Garlic butter, and the fish and chips is not served as pictured (much smaller and fewer pieces). Their fries were pretty delicious though. The service was okay until it wasn't. They weren't busy where they needed our table, not even close. We ordered food, some people continued to order drinks, and othe
Good food and great drinks. Unfortunately slow service. 7-10 min approx wait for someone to come to you and get your order. (We were sitting by the bar, there were six other people and two bartenders. One time visit. I don't think I'm coming back
This place is awesome, but it does take some time to get used to. You'll need a card or a digital one to play, which you can set up through the app to pay for game credits. They have kiosks to help with this, too. The restaurant seating is adequate, but it gets busy, so expect a wait or book a seat in advance through the app. The bar has a nice atmosphere, but the management could improve training. We waited a long time for drinks, and our food came out at different times. The management team needs to
Updated Review ? 3/23/25 After my second visit to Dave & Buster?s, my rating has dropped from 4 stars to 1. Unfortunately, the service has only gotten worse. As I mentioned in my previous review, the host staff is completely inattentive and unfriendly. We stood at the front for a solid five minutes, with a cranky, loud two-year-old before the young host even acknowledged us. When he finally did, his response was, "What do you need?" Um? to be seated for a meal? It only went downhill from there. Our waitr
This was my first time going here and I am very very disappointed. Ordered boneless bites , they ran out of celery, ordered chicken strips got 4 little pieces with no flavor ordered cauliflower, they ran out of that so got the Brussel sprouts, which were burnt and had no flavor at all , tasted like I was eating air , got a bacon cheeseburger, it was so greasy couldn't finish it . So loud n cold in there . Only thing good was our server Jade? Will not be going back
I wasn't super impressed compared to my first visit in September. It was overly busy, so I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt. However, my food portion lacked, and my first beer was from the bottom of the keg. Hoping for improvement on my next visit.
We waited 30 minutes just to order drinks after being seated to the point that we had to ask what the issue was. This was our second experience of waiting long for service. The first time we figured it was because they had just opened. This time they were not that busy. Food was good. It took another 15 minutes for to-go boxes & another 20 minutes for the check. Our food bill was crazy expensive for bar food. It was good but not for the price. I will not be going back again.
First time visiting a Dave and busters, and certainly our last! Service was very poor, had to help ourselves to our own condiments, salt, pepper, ketchup extraction. Had to ask for plates, napkins s and utensils, because servers did not bring them. Not once asked how food was, more drinks needed, anything else etc. Certainly not was expected. Calling corporate next, and giving feedback on social media for this specific location. Your staff and management are very uneducated. Managers tells me sorry we feel
The atmosphere is amazing - lots of games to play and tons of TVs to watch sporting events. The salads and burgers are excellent. The service hasn't been the best when we've come here. Today, Jack, who works behind the bar, was the best bartender yet. Constantly checking in on us and making sure our drinks were filled after other employees avoided us for over 10 mins.
This is the first time me and my brother have ever went to a Dave & Buster's in our lifetime. We went to the Moosic, Pa location on 10-2-24. We were both mostly satisfied with the experience. However we are slightly disappointed. 1. Their main food entree were not properly portioned for the price you pay. I would consider them small portion size. Also their main entree dishes taste okay However don't expect it to be restaurant quality grade food (For example: we got the Chicken Parmesan and it was dry, over
I had such a terrific experience here with my friends! We decided to go on a Wednesday to take advantage of the 1/2 price games and we also dined in. I reserved a table very easily through google. When we arrived I told them my reservation, and even though we were early, we were sat immediately. The service was fantastic and the food was great! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The bacon burger was huge and so yummy. The games were all working as intended and were very fun. Some of my favorites were th
Had a really great experience here. We made reservations so we had absolutely no wait time. From what I observed, people who did not have reservations had about a 10 minimute wait. Our server was great and our food came out really fast, especially since we were their at peak business hours ( 6 PM ). The food waa really good and was great quality, much better than other D and B locations. The arcade was obviously fun and was not super expensive.
Went on a Friday night, so the wait for a table was about 40 minute wait give or take. They text you when your table is ready. But at least there's lots of games to play and have a drink while you wait. They have so much to play and enjoy
This shout out a.k.a. review is solely for Maddie. Thank you for giving me and my family. A very pleasant experience tonight we choose to get takeout more so than dine in just because of the lack of positive experiences and then you have to tip somebody anyways and so to avoid that because we've just not really met very many good servers and have decided a few years back to just do mostly takeout. Maddie was the most courteous thoughtful, kind, considerate, intelligent server. I think I've ever had the priv
You Need To Know? Arrived around 7:45 p.m. & we were able to be seated immediately. The environment is over stimulating for sure. Lots of noise from the video games & television screens. There are literally giant screen TVs everywhere. You can catch a game from anywhere in this restaurant. Service was fast, informative, & kind. We ordered the cheesesteak, hawaiin chicken sandwich & creamy chicken noodles with bacon. The chicken noodles were delicious & if your a bacon fan definitely have them added. The Ha
Service was great. Someone was at the table every few minutes checking on us. Food order got mixed up but it wasn't a big deal. Overall everyone was friendly and it was a nice environment and a lot of fun.
Visited Dave and Busters on opening day and have to say, was not disappointed! There were four of us and a 4 month old baby and the first thing we did was eat. We were greeted by a few hosts as soon as walking in, with one even opening the door as we came in with our stroller. It was actually so helpful and made us feel welcome. They then guided us to where we needed to go by asking us if we were playing or eating and we decided to eat first. I'm an appetizer girl and they had this awesome 50% off deal whi
Smaller than expected. Food was okay, not that great. Smash burgers were not that flavorful. The Brussel sprouts were very hard. The boneless wings tasted like Tyson?s frozen buffalo boneless bites. Fries were okay. Service was great! Lashyla was very helpful and all staff was very kind.
Made the decision to come here after a Scranton Wilkes-Barre Railrider rainout. As did everyone else with a kid who didn't get to see a baseball game. It was crazy. Very crowded. Extremely loud. I hurt my daughter?s fingers on the fishing game so she was pissed at me most of the night. The food was refreshingly good though. Or i was super hungry. Anyway, the brusell spouts were a highlight. They missed a Mac n cheese order and replaced it with the most ridiculous cotton candy topped sundae cake. Someone sai
I love this place. I came here because my daughter wanted to come here and the staff was polite and accommodating making it a great experience. This is now my favorite Dave and Busters.
Worst bartender. I order two drinks, showed my id and told her the other was for my sister, she said she needed id for her, I told her, I will just go and get it. When I come back from my car, my friend informed me that she took the drink. I went back to the counter and told her why was my drink taken away? She stated that my friend drank the alcohol and did not had id on her and when she said she doesn't have physical but picture in her phone, it was refused. I asked if my friend had drank the alcohol, sh
Only reason it did not get 5 stars was because location is less then a week old yet there arcade machines keep breaking or freezing up. Staff are very helpful and nice. Food was good. If they can fix the issues with the machines (namely there card readers and network errors) place would be 5 stars.
My husband, Mike, and I spent a few hours at D & B today. All service was very good and everything was clean, great games for our sons and a friend. Kaitlyn was our server and we wanted to let you know that she did a great job! Very friendly and efficient. We will visit again!
My husband and I went opening weekend on Friday night, it was packed. The wait was an hour but expected and well worth it. The drinks and food were great but I'm writing this because of our server, Eveseni. She was so sweet, bubbly and helpful. She hustled the whole night with a smile on her face. She even got us a manager because the app kept crashing probably because of how busy it was. We had such a good time we went back tonight. Our server tonight, Brooke was just as good. Very nice and so friend
Ok, there's a lot to unravel about how poor our experience was at this D&B location. The food was cold, came out sporadic even though it was all ordered at the same time. The Cheesesteaks were not worth the money. The server was nice but really did not go above any beyond by any means. Needed napkins, didn't get them. The check splitting and 50% discount should have been a simple task but forced us to pay as a group for whatever reason. And the asst servers were quite rude and when our salad finally cam
I had such high hopes for this place, I had been to a different franchise location before and eagerly anticipated Dave and Busters coming to our area so please know I came in to this on a positive note. I thought it was really odd the way the restaurant kind of ignores that there is an arcade in the building. Like it's really loud and clearly the reason people come to this place instead of next door - I visited and no staff explained how to get credit for the games or how it worked or anything. It felt odd
Our server Payton was the best! She's always super friendly and welcoming! We had a slight issue with one of our meals, which really wasn't a big deal, but Cody made sure we were well taken care of! Good food, good environment!
Our experience started with our waitress complaining about her day when asked how she was. The food was all soft and soggy, like it had been microwaved (flatbread and pretzels, specifically.) They forgot one of the sauces served with my son's order, forgot his drink, and put on the sauce on my sandwich that I asked to hold. When asking advice on the Eat and Play deal, we opted for the unlimited card since my son specifically wanted to win an item his friend had won as well. While she did advise us that
The door host was completely useless. Looking all around accept at the entering customers and the waitress was just as bad. Once we ordered our food she brought my 2 year old daughter a full size cup of soda instead of a children's cup which we requested for obvious reasons. She also appeared to be actively avoiding our table. The childrens portions of chicken "fingers" were appalling. my 7 year old stepson received literally 3 of the smallest pieces of chicken I've ever seen, they couldn't even be consider
After seeing all the comments about the food and what not let me just say ITS AN ARCADE. Who the hell cares if the food is good or not. Most of you pick a crappy fast food joint over good food anyway so no one wants to hear it. However I will say the food was pretty damn decent and for $20 with a $10 game card, you can't go wrong. The server was absolutely incredible and was prompt with our order (table of 6) and kept the drinks coming for our table. Let me just finish on this note, if you're going to come
Always a great time with food and drinks. The games are fun and the prizes are worth the trip and even to build up for next time.
Took kids over the weekend for the first time. 1. It's clear this place is owned by private equity. It's the way of the world. Portion sizes are laughable. I received about 10 fries with my sandwich that was $21. They also forgot to put the ranch on the side for the sandwich and when we got our bill, there was a charge for the side of ranch, even though it was supposed to come on the sandwich. What a joke. Again, it's the way of the world but it's just getting sad. 2. Kids enjoyed themselves but we wished
My boyfriend and I were excited to come have some kid free fun this weekend. The place was fairly busy. It is EXTREMELY loud between people talking, games going, and music blaring. It seems like they need to expand. We were seated right away however waited longer than needed just to put in a drink order. When we put in our drink order we also put in an appetizer. My water came with no lemon (I ordered extra) after reminding her I had ordered it, and I had to mention our appetizer halfway through our meal. I
Food is usually pretty good. Dined in multiple times. 1st time getting food to go. My 11 yr old son pulled a staple that was bent straight off 1 of his bbq chicken wings. Luckily he seen it. Most likely won't be getting food from there again.
Super overpriced for what you get, $375 for 6 people and the arcade games aren't like they used to be, they take 8 or 10 tokens for 15 seconds of play time and the ticket payout is super low for the reward prices. Just disappointing, the kids card is constantly empty and she didn't earn enough tickets for a decent reward even though we loaded $80 onto the card.
Lots of great games, although the maintenance can be tricky during the night. They seemed relatively on top of fixing games if patrons let them know of issues. I think PARENTS though need to be WAY MORE RESPONSIBLE for THEIR CHILDREN. Do not just let your children run around the arcade without supervision... especially dosing busy dinner times. First off, I would never let me son out of eye sight for safety reasons, but some of unsupervised children were so bratty and nasty trying to literally push their
I had such a great experience here! The drinks were delicious and the food was all very good! The games were so much fun! I had some trouble with one of the games and the employee Greg was able to help and fix the problem and also get my credits back. He was extremely helpful! I highly recommend this place!!! Love it and I can not wait to go back!!!????????????
Very busy, bustling yet FUN atmosphere. The Wait Staff and the Food are really particularly excellent. The games are FUNbelievable! No long waits for food! Not Calm or peaceful, this is a popular meetup place for youth but can be ?very distracting? for anyone with ADHD or on the Autism Spectrum. Not at all quiet, relaxed or sedate. I don't recommend meeting a serious first date here.
Your server Kaitlyn on Saturday night was phenomenal. Amazing. I will bring my family and my friends back there. We had an awesome time. She worked very hard accommodated everything we didn't have to ask twice for nothing. It was awesome and I love your establishment and we will be coming back
Was told it will be a hour wait gave my number we went to go play while we wait . After a few min my husband went to double check that the number was correct. After a hour and 20min we all went to check how much longer and the hostess was rude and said we oppt outa of messages but didn't think to tell my husband that when He Went to verify the number !!! And expected us to wait another hour. they need better hostess wish i can rate it -5 !
The kids pizza was not edible the dumplings were so greezy the quesadilla was just not good. The inside was ok but the outside was really disappointing. The service staff was good. Great time playing the games but we wont eat here again.
To loud no sound bearers. Ordered a diet coke with lemon, chicken straps with ranch dipping sauce fries and Cole slaw. No lemon in my diet coke 3 very small chicken tenders cold fries no dipping sauce, no Cole slaw. One other in party ordered an all American burger. Got fish and chips. I am a retired chef & Restaurant manager. This was by far the worst place I have been at. For atmosphere food and service. Will not be suggesting this place to anyone. Didn't want to say anything we were guest with a part
Kaitlyn was our server and she was amazing! She was very attentive to our order details & had our food out fast. Her friendly and helpful personality coupled with her attention to detail made our experience a pleasurable one and we will return soon.
One of my personal favorite places on earth ??. These people always aim to please. The food and their caring attitude cannot be overstated.
Had a reservation for 10:30pm for a date night tonight and waited and waited and waited for 25 minutes and our server never even came to our table. I don't understand because it was very slow and all the wait staff and a few managers just stood around laughing and talking. Got up and left and will never go back. Which is sad because my family loved it there. Since they opened that location we've almost reached level 9 and do date nights there every Wednesday during the summer
Great new location of the chain in the NEPA region. Service is great, location is easy to get to and they uphold all of the great D&B expectations.
Food is avg. never bad, nothing exciting. But it's clean, good customer base, good location and great place to take the kids and give them something to do while you enjoy dinner
we came in to dine and eat place was packed! which made us very worried about our service knowing we had very poor service in the past. our food wasnt too great but our waitress kaitlyn was so great she really exceeded above our expectations! she was polite, kind and fast! me and my family shared a few good laughs with her! we will deffitnally be back to request her! also when it is less packed!
Was very cold inside. Asked manager to turn the heat up or turn the blower off, as it was only 20 degrees outside. Server mover our party of 7 to another table but it was still very cold in there. They were out of the pretzels, our drinks were not brought together. In the arcade one of the grab machines did not work correctly also the hungry hippo game one hippo was out of order. I won't be returning to Dave & Busters. Remember first impressions are lasting impressions and I and 3 others In our party were
I had A bad experience with my autistic son because Amanda harassed him the assistant manager is just an angel He told me he's gonna make sure that she does not discriminate against anyone else that has a disability and he sounded extremely. Sorry he's one of the best managers I've ever seen. Thank you Dylan for being king
Came in midday and the machines were all up and running with great payouts. Staff were all extremely friendly. When we went to be sat for lunch the hostess went to sit us in the back where it was darker. I had my autistic son with me who does not do too well in the darker areas of restaurants. The hostess was so accommodating. She moved us to the front of the restaurant with a smile. The waitress was a little busy which was completely understandable and she had an extra table thrown in out of rotation. The
We ordered a table online and were told the wait would be 30-40 minutes. After waiting an hour, we approached the hostess, who had seated three families ahead of us. She was incredibly rude and dismissive, even saying she didn't have time to explain how their waiting list works. The service was awful, and I wouldn't recommend this place for a family meal.
Was there for a work event and the service was horrible. The bartender gave me the wrong drink once, never came back with the correct one. Overall it took close to an hour to get my correct beverage. The staffing for the event was inadequate overall.
Came for my daughter's birthday. We've been to Allentown many times. Was told an hour wait for a table so we decided to play games instead of eating there. For a new building in a big market they failed. Way too small and cramped. Could hardly move without getting bumped into. Not many games the kids wanted to play. The price per game was higher. Definitely won't be back to this location.
Sam was our server on Sunday afternoon and she provided excellent service. She was nice, attentive, and very informative of the specials going on. We even purchased our power cards through Sam! We will absolutely be returning and requesting Sam for next time.
Kids were really disappointed. We bought the unlimited pass for January and February and each visit you need to reactivate the cards. After an hour of trying management couldn't get our cards activated. By that time they just wanted to go home. Waste of money.
At over nine dollars a beer and an hour and a half to get seated I sat at the bar where my kids spent over $200 in arcade. Well I was at the bar drinking my nine dollar beer I noticed mold under the tap system and the tap system itself was filthy so I cannot write a review for the food because I refuse to eat there
It was our second time dining here. The food is amazing and everybody Was wonderful. We definitely will be coming back again.
I love the location.. atmosphere and the game selections. Staff provided great service. I ordered the pork ribs and chicken fingers for the other order. The quality of the chicken was stringy. And the ribs were not as tender as I would have liked them to be. Perhaps baby back ribs may be a better menu option and perhaps easier to be tenderized. I enjoyed my time here and hope to go back. I will try other menu options next time. I appreciate Dave and Busters for being in our local area now. Great time!!!
We went there for the first time and had the game card promo. We all.ordered it and gave the kids the cards. It was honestly really fun. Between all of we had the All American Cheeseburgers and boneless wing bites. The kids were full on the wing bites and they both liked them. The Cheeseburgers were huge and the portion of fries were big as well. My burger was a little cold but nothing make a fuss. We didn't get offered refills but we all asked for water beforehand. It was nice. Will be back.
Service was great! Ricky our server was kind and very accommodating! Also very sweet with our 10 month old :). Manger was very pleasant when he checked in on our table, he appreciated the compliment on the service. Had fun on the game floor, and they keep it clean. Staff at the toke/ticket counter were very polite and helpful. Will definitely be back!
We had our monthly staff meeting at this location and were definitely given VIP treatment. Our server Amanda was amazing and the GM took time to make sure we had a fantastic experience!
Food was good but the service was absolutely terrible. My family and I were here around 8:15 P.M on 6/13/24 and were the only people eating in the whole restaurant. We ordered two different appetizers which tasted okay but, as soon as our main course came our waitress took our appetizer's (which we only ate half of and were actively eating as she picked up the plates) and started to walk away with them and didn't even ask if we were done with them. When our main course was brought to the table we asked for
My friends and I came here for the arcade on a Sunday afternoon. The place was pretty dead when we arrived and my friends wanted to grab a drink before we played. We sat at the bar waiting to get a drink with one other couple at the bar. A female bartender walked past us to serve a man who walked up to the bar well after us. No harm, no foul?.maybe she thought he was there first. She greeted us with ?IDs??.weird to not even greet your patrons but OK. I myself am a bartender so I understand the need to ID. S
We have gone to Dave and Busters in other locations and were delighted when they opened up this location. We just got done having lunch and playing some games together as a family. Our waiter Ricky was fantastic! He was very friendly and attentive, and went above and beyond to make our daughter happy after she found out they were currently out of the kids Mac and Cheese. Overall we love it here and we will be back!
Came here to eat with my husband and the food was amazing. Our server Ricky was very pleasant and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. As well as the manager. Definitely will be coming here again.
I have celiac disease so I rarely ever eat out and if I do, it's usually a salad. I confirmed with my waitress that a salad would be safe. I ordered a house salad- no dressing or tomatoes. So essentially it was lettuce and cheese. She showed me that she put it in as an allergy and assured me the manager would personally bring it out to me while wearing gloves. The rest of the group ordered (5 other people). The manager comes out with my salad, no gloves on but not a big deal. He sets down my house salad wit
If I could give this place a zero star rating I would. We waited 30 minutes for our server just to come over and ask us what we wanted to drink. All we had gotten was one drink from the bar one Dr Pepper and a slushy. My daughter slushy came out with the drink from the bar and I waited 45 minutes for them to tell me they were out of a Dr Pepper from the fountain then we ordered our food and it took one hour for a plate of nachos with 9 tiny pieces of chicken. We had ordered everything together, but at that
Yesterday my husband and I went to Dave n Buster's by us for the first time and I wanted to be impressed. I really did, but we just didn't get that WOW factor when we went in there. My expectations was this place will be a cool, fun arcade hangout for adults. WRONG! I walk in and there were kids everywhere. I felt like I was in a chucky cheese. I don't mind if kids would be there, but if you advertise this place to be a place for "Adults" than it should be just that. Suggestion: Have certain days for family
Food was good service was good our server Alana was nice and attentive but after paying the bill we were asked to leave the table that there was a reservation for it soon even though there were two other tables right next to ours totally empty the whole time we were there. I thought that was rude. I'm a disabled senior. Don't like to be rushed when I'm paying good money for bar food. Fried pickles are the bomb.
Consistently fun environment. Samera from the crew is easily the best employee they have and she always handles every interaction with care, courtesy, and kindness. Entire crew seems well in tune, foods good but would like to see more options (mainly bar Staples like jalepeno poppers, boneless wings with various sauce, or maybe a appetizer sampler, menu just seemed too specific and some people just want a basket of greasy unhealthy food when they drink lol.), there are quite a few more games than I thought
Family went out to eat here and we were beyond disappointed. We were never served as the waitress not only forgot to put our order in, she proceeded to ignore us our entire stay while she mingled with other customers. I don't like to imply that she was biased towards skin color but we quickly noticed a pattern of who she would pay attention to. After seeing other families come in after us, enjoy their meals and leave, we finally left. The management proved to lack empathy and competence as well. In my expe
Food is super expensive. Bartenders messed up my bill to the point where I had tonpay twice and spend over $400 on dinner for my date and I. Not worth it.
Surprisingly Great food, great atmosphere, lots of fun and good deals. Had some quality Arcade rigs even and a good variety of drinks/cocktails
Dave and busters was amazing, i had a fun time and the host was amazing, his name was andri and he was willing to hear me out and talk to me, great service and i will definitely come back here
First time coming out to Dave and busters ever anywhere and I really wanted to like it. Server was not it unfortunately. I think her name was Tabitha ? She never said it but I believe that was on her name tag ? She was not very attentive, seemed she had an attitude. I had to track her down numerous times to pay, for refills, for boxes and it wasn't even busy. Food came out 30+ mins later and it was lacking. I sent my husbands food back for being burnt. Kids did enjoy the games and other employees seemed ver
Went for a late dinner on 6/6 at about 9:30 and ended up staying until 11:50. It was relatively busy, but we got all our food in about 20-25 minutes after being seated. We had the barbicoa fries and a couple different Flatbreads. Everything was delicious and the waitress kept coming to all the tables to make sure we and the other customers were okay and to see if there was anything else we needed. We used the 50% off our meal when we opened our card and enjoyed all the games. Very excited for the 2 "coming
This place is awesome. I've never been to another so I can't compare but it's super fun. I do wish there were more video games though. I'm not into the skill games. I also think the food was better when they first opened. My fish and chips batter keeps leaking in oil. I don't think they're being gentle when placing it in the fryer. This makes the dish really greasy.
I just wanna say the management and staff here are awesome. I visited for the first time today and hand trouble with the virtual card thing on my phone that had my tokens for the games so I asked the hostess for help. She was super sweet and called over the manager who just transferred my tokens over to a physical card with no problem. The place was really clean and it had a good variety of games! Next time we'll try some food!
Was there last night with 2 other families for half-price food. My husband and I arrived around 7, about 20 mins after everyone else. It took nearly 20 mins for the server to take our order. Then we waited almost a half an hour on top of that for our drinks (draft beer, margarita and a lemonade slush for our daughter.) Had to ask the server where they were when she came over to check on us. She hadn't brought us waters at this point even. Food came out, still no water or drinks. Eventually we get our drink
If I could give a 0 i would... We have been to Dave and Busters in Plymouth meeting and time Square and we were very excited to get one closer to home. We went there for my sons birthday 8/24 we spent well over 300 dollars for him and his friends to play. We didn't get a table because we were really only there to play. We asked the one man what do we do if we just wanted to order drinks. He told us to go over to the bar. So that is what we did we had 8 people we were buying drinks for so me and my husband
Management needs a lot of work at this location. Multiple food and drinks items where out and the food is something to be desired.....They need help in every department for SURE! staff is incompetent/they need training.
We came opening week during lunch time While we didn't eat and just played I wanted to leave our experience. We were welcomed the second we walked inside. The woman was very nice and walked us to a kiosk to get a power card. I had bought one the day before on my phone since there was a 20 for 20 offer. Games ranged in points but I honestly didn't think it was terrible. My son(9) and I enjoyed our time and will be back again!
First time at a Dave and Busters. I actually had a great time. Had a few draft beers and the games were fun. I won 1,000 points in the claw machine. I will prob go back often. Very fun. I'm in my late 30s it felt like a casino. It was very fun. loved it
Dave and Busters is the place to be in Scranton! This restaurant is one of my favorite places to go. I've visited the restaurant 4 times since it has opened and my experience has been extremely positive and pleasant each time. Just when I don't think it can get any better, it does. Servers, managers, and other staff members are constantly checking in and asking about our experience and if there's anything they can get us or do to make the experience even better. Food has always been delicious each time and
This place is awesome. I am so thrilled that we finally have something like this in the area. Our waitress, I believe her name was Taylor, was amazing! So fun and friendly. Food and drinks were great. Games were fun. Such a nice way to spend an evening with a couple friends. Can't wait to come back!
The place is very cool, and has a nice atmosphere and plenty of fun games, the axe throwing is really cool! We went on a Wednesday night, wasn't that busy after being seated we waited almost 30 minutes and no waiter ever came to our table, I asked the host if we can get someone and the waitress she spoke to said she didn't know the section we were in was hers. We order drinks and food. (Drinks never came) we were eating the food and the waitress goes oh you didn't get your drinks! So she went and grabbed ra
Chris, our bartender, was great. . Fun games with more to come, it looks like.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
