Dave & Buster's Salt Lake City

This place is just SO fun! And honestly not that expensive, all things considered. I played about 8-10 games with $20, including a Dance Dance Revolution knock off, and two rounds of the VR shooter game. The food is fine and very shareable portion sizes. Staff there are super nice. Definitely great for a fun date night, family night, birthday, etc! Rapi was our amazing server and the female manager working was also fabulous!

Food was good. Drinks were good. Everything was good!! Haha. Service was fairly fast despite them being busy! Place was clean. A good experience overall. I recommend the strawberry shortcake. Warning tho! The sauce is a little tart but the overall sweetness balances it out :)

The mall may be empty but D&B is still awesome. Lots of games and great food Some of the games are a ripoff. Don't get one of the card/meal deals that get's you a 30 min card with an entree. You can only use it once per game, can't play the games too quickly, and you don't get any tickets.

Had my daughter?s birthday here. Booked a kids birthday package. It was a little on the pricey side but the kids had a blast, service was good and the food was tasty. I only had one issue where the adult food platters came out a good 15 mins before the kids cheese pizza, so I was a little stressed that food portions would not last as expected. The fire alarm went off right after we ordered our food today, and the games shut off. Frank, Christian, and Nathan all did a great job taking care of the guests. They took a challenging situation and turned it into an excellent guest service situation. The food was really good and the facility was clean. Came here for a team building lunch. The bathrooms were clean! The entire place is a bit dark but that's normal for a place full of TV's and loud lighted games for people to play. This is the second visit for me to this location, and I have been equally impressed both times. The facility is absolutely spotless, welcoming, and overall pleasing to the eye. Come with a thick wallet, it's not cheap at least the games, food prices were on par. I wouldn't say the food was anything worth writing home about, but it was good, with good-sized portions. I do have to mention the service, because it was great. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs, and was very friendly and helpful. Dave and busters at Gateway in Salt Lake City is a cool place. We always have the best time when we go to D&B! The bar tenders there are always so attentive. The manager was super cool too. Making sure all was well. We went on a very busy night with a very large party and they accommodated all 20 of us. We never felt like we weren't getting drinks fast enough or that our food wasn't coming out fast enough, it was all wonderful. Place is relatively well kept and well maintained, bathrooms are super clean and front desk staff is super friendly. However, the prizes are pretty overpriced (literally better off buying them online). Several of the ?snake in a can? prank toys were completely empty with nothing in them, and ended up waiting 28 MINUTES AND 33 SECONDS before I saw ANY workers come to the prize counter. Genuine lack of service. I'll keep returning for Pop The Lock, but this place is basically a glorified casino for your kids.

On November 18th I Visited Dave&Buster for the all you can eat Unlimited Wings. When I informed the waitress I was interested in the all you can eat wings. This place is amazing. It has great family ambiance. The food is great. Love the idea of restaurant and big arcade. Their ticket redemption area has great variety. Wish they had a day pass that would include bundle VR. The VR is a cool ride. The only downside to the restaurant side is that they don't sing happy birthday but they do give a free ice cream, if they would have sung I would have given 5 out of 5.

We were charged for beers we didn't order. When asked if they did anything for birthdays they brought out a Sunday but didn't disclose the $5 cost. The games worked and the area was clean. This place could be the place to have fun on the weekends if only the restaurant aspect was more organized and coordinated. I love this location of Dave and Buster?s. I've never had a bad experience here and I've visited this location a few dozen times. Wednesdays are half price for games and if you are hungry there is a restaurant inside. There is also a fairly good sized bar if you are thirsty.

We went to enjoy a football game. We noticed tables were not bussed. Our drinks were woefully slow to come to us. No doubt the service and bus staff was understaffed. They food was good as were the drinks but I wouldn't return or recommend this place until I hear they have addressed this staffing issue.

When we have company in town and need a fun place to take them with good food Dave and Busters is the answer. Been there almost a dozen times and their food has always been good. This is just sad. The menu is lacking in variety and most especially quality. The food is absolutely awful. If you have a small menu and less to manage the food should be good, there's no excuse other than laziness and lack of care. Frozen burger patties, and "chicken strips" that aren't fresh, are stale and dry, and about the size of a chicken nugget. The fries are lower quality than frozen isle food at Smith's. I guarantee I could outpace the ribs at a lower cost and better quality any day of the week. H

Music was extremely loud in there. We spent a good amount of money on a card but a lot of the games we scanned said scanned but didn't work. By the end, we had a lot of tickets but the take home toys were pretty lame even to give to my kids. It was fun to try once but not something i?d spend that much money on to do again.

We had to wait 20 min for a seat that was empty the whole time. We got our food an hour after being seated it was warmish not hot. The kids and adults were not happy about the food at all.

It's AMAZING that they carry/serve the Impossible Burger!!!! It's the first time I've seen it on a menu in Utah. It's delicious! It's not so cool that you have to pay for it as a substitution when it's really the only "meal" item that is vegan (without the cheese). Games are fun! Clean and upbeat atmosphere. The only reason I can't give yall a 5 star review is every time I go into the arcade it's like I'm entering a sauna, lots of machines producing lots of heat and sweating while playing the most relaxing games is kind of crazy, we would make an appearance more if this was addressed. If you are going for the games it is a great place for a young crowd, however there are lots of kids. My nachos took about 30 minutes and when they arrived they came out cold and a bit soggy. The "steak" if call it that, on the nachos tasted terrible. The manager/supervisor was consistently reminding the serving staff that food was ready but they still did not promptly retrieve the food. One of the few food options at the gateway. We were sat right away, it wasn't very busy. We put in our drink and food orders almost immediately. Took 15 minutes for our appetizer to come out, and it was burnt and partially inedible. The burger was really salty. The chicken club sandwich came out with a really small chicken patty. Both came with fries, but we had to ask for any dipping sauce. The steak bowl was great. For almost $100 for three people we were expecting quite a bit more.
