This place is just SO fun! And honestly not that expensive, all things considered. I played about 8-10 games with $20, including a Dance Dance Revolution knock off, and two rounds of the VR shooter game. The food is fine and very shareable portion sizes. Staff there are super nice. Definitely great for a fun date night, family night, birthday, etc! Rapi was our amazing server and the female manager working was also fabulous!
Food was good. Drinks were good. Everything was good!! Haha. Service was fairly fast despite them being busy! Place was clean. A good experience overall. I recommend the strawberry shortcake. Warning tho! The sauce is a little tart but the overall sweetness balances it out :)
The mall may be empty but D&B is still awesome. Lots of games and great food Some of the games are a ripoff. Don't get one of the card/meal deals that get's you a 30 min card with an entree. You can only use it once per game, can't play the games too quickly, and you don't get any tickets.
Very fun place to play games and eat food. The food is good but expensive. Overall this is a fun place to go and play arcade games without the nuisance of tons of kids .
Had my daughter?s birthday here. Booked a kids birthday package. It was a little on the pricey side but the kids had a blast, service was good and the food was tasty. I only had one issue where the adult food platters came out a good 15 mins before the kids cheese pizza, so I was a little stressed that food portions would not last as expected. The management went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied and made up for the misunderstanding. Overall, very happy with everything. This is a fun place for kids
I've been in a couple of Dave&Busters, this one I like just because of the location. It was nice to be here. I had a great time!
Couldn't find Dave, or Buster, but still had a blast! We did run into the Utah Jazz players and got a photo and a few autographs though.
We came on a Friday night and expected it to be very busy but it wasn't too bad. We walked in and purchased our game pass card which was simple. Then we decided to get food before going to play any games. We were seated right away and our waiter was great. The manager even came over and introduced herself as well. The food was great, we tried the fried pickles, the salmon bowl and the crispy chicken sandwich. Unfortunately you cannot take any drinks, even non-alcoholic ones with you to play games. Overall i
The fire alarm went off right after we ordered our food today, and the games shut off. Frank, Christian, and Nathan all did a great job taking care of the guests. They took a challenging situation and turned it into an excellent guest service situation. The food was really good and the facility was clean. This is the best service we have ever experienced at a Dave & Busters.
Came here for a team building lunch. The bathrooms were clean! The entire place is a bit dark but that's normal for a place full of TV's and loud lighted games for people to play. The table area could use a bit more light. Many different food items were ordered. Of what was ordered, those who got the VooDoo pasta apparently had the best of the foods ordered. I got the fish and chips. Fish was too greasy and fell apart too easily. The tartar sauce was a disappointment. The fries were good though. We got a na
This is the second visit for me to this location, and I have been equally impressed both times. The facility is absolutely spotless, welcoming, and overall pleasing to the eye. Food is delicious, hot, and served quickly. Our wait staff both times were attentive and pleasant. The facility has a lot to offer, and the gaming section is incredible. Everything works and is clean. No kids are running around destroying things. The place is kid friendly but not necessarily geared towards them. From what I underst
Come with a thick wallet, it's not cheap at least the games, food prices were on par. I wouldn't say the food was anything worth writing home about, but it was good, with good-sized portions. I do have to mention the service, because it was great. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs, and was very friendly and helpful. I was impressed with the manager coming to introduce herself and see how we were doing. You don't see that often these days. We had a great time, and we will be back!
Company funded retreats always bring out the best or worst in a restaurant. This was no different. Overall, the employees did amazing putting up with us and still keeping a smile on their faces. Food had to be buffet style, which was great to see Dave and busters hold it down. And then there's the atmosphere, come on now, its chucky cheese for grown-ups, need i say more. I will say on thing extra, the location of this place was amazing, nestled inside downtown SLC surrounded by an outdoor plaza with a wonde
We had a very fun time, our waiter Frank was amazing and so kind, the food came out so quickly, and oh my god it was amazing, the pretzel things were like Divine. The staff at the ticket prize place were so nice, I don't remember the name of the guy who helped us but he was new and he was awesome and really helpful!! Will definitely come back!
We ordered the sampler plates called TAKE IT CHEESY and GAME DAY GRUB were awesome, and the boys enjoyed playing a game deal. Overall great experience with friendly server (young french ski guy).
Dave and busters at Gateway in Salt Lake City is a cool place. Food, bar and arcade games under one roof??The waiters are welcoming and the ticket counter representatives are also kind. The food and drinks are amazing and So many arcade games to play.Did I mention the so many screens they got?! Awesome for game nights. They got a coat room too. Clean and well maintained bathrooms
We always have the best time when we go to D&B! The bar tenders there are always so attentive. The manager was super cool too. Making sure all was well. We went on a very busy night with a very large party and they accommodated all 20 of us. We never felt like we weren't getting drinks fast enough or that our food wasn't coming out fast enough, it was all wonderful. I'm not going to say it's cheap but it's a good time, even for a bunch of adults
Place is relatively well kept and well maintained, bathrooms are super clean and front desk staff is super friendly. However, the prizes are pretty overpriced (literally better off buying them online). Several of the ?snake in a can? prank toys were completely empty with nothing in them, and ended up waiting 28 MINUTES AND 33 SECONDS before I saw ANY workers come to the prize counter. Genuine lack of service. I'll keep returning for Pop The Lock, but this place is basically a glorified casino for your kids.
Overall, we like this place, our visit was weird. Our server was good, but the bar refused to make virgin daiquiris or Pina colada claiming they didn't know how. What?! Just weird. Either clueless or lying. Poor experience. Food was good as usual. The bar experience though? One star or less.
4th of July. We got on the list at 7:30 and they said a two hour wait. They stop seating people at 9:30. Kindness goes a long ways. They snuck us in at 9:35 because we had been nice to them. Cody was our server and was great. All the staff was super nice and accommodating even though people had been rude and disrespectful to them all day. Seriously people, these guys are waiting on you on a holiday. Show some gratitude. Ok, rant over. Food came out fairly fast, was hot, and the way we asked for it
Love the games, bring my wife and sun once in a blue moon but gotta say the restaurant side is terrible. I've tried multiple times and I cannot for the life of me find a time when servers actually help you. The last 2 times I've taken my family here, it took 15 minutes plus before a server would even acknowledge us. This is the second time in a row my family and I have had to just get up and leave because we can't get served. I won't be going back at this point outside of playing games and even that is some
very pricey food and games. nothing terrible but also nothing stands out to bring us back. the workers were stiff and a little "off".. cant pin it down but weird. one thing we liked is that many of the games are interactive and physical, more than just standing at a video screen
Very good food. I was expecting it to be at least decent since this is an entertainment place. But the food is good enough to be its own restaurant. The burger and the double flatbread pizza are good. Also, the chocolate cake is stellar. As for the games - they are plenty of fun. A good mix of games to win tokens and more serious arcade style games. Good way to enjoy an evening with family or friends. The prizes require an exorbitant amount of tokens, but hey - what entertainment place doesn't have outrage
Love the evening vibe! We came to celebrate my son?s 17th birthday with friends. Danced in my seat the entire time there were six of us and every plate was soooo good and I am a picky eater outer ;) We ordered ribs, burgers, wings, and the BBQ Chicken flatbread was the bomb. com (jalape?os were soooo hot)!!! We had the pleasure of Alex taking care of us and she did not disappoint. This is my second time to this location and both times were great experiences! Also the Drinks were tasty both times as well ??
One of my favorite places to go and have a good time. The staff was mostly friendly and did a great job. The food was very delicious. I would definitely go back when possible.
FRAAAAAANK!!! WE LOVE FRANK! WE LOVE FRANK! My friends and I sat down and lo and behold, Frank fell from the heavens. When I tell you I have never met a server so real, I am telling you I have neeeever... until we met Frank. He was all a table could want in a server. Attentive, friendly, and went above to infinity and beyond. We will never forget Frank. 100/10 would recommend!!!
On November 18th I Visited Dave&Buster for the all you can eat Unlimited Wings. When I informed the waitress I was interested in the all you can eat wings. She mentioned to me that I would have to provide my debit card as collateral in case I decided to dine and dash. I was offended by this due to her not asking anyone else. I came into the establishment wearing construction boots and a reflective jacket. I have never had to provide my card before placing an order unless at a bar to start a tab. I don't und
This is my favorite place to go see a game! It feels like you're at the MGM in Vegas. Food is solid and atmosphere is great!
This place is amazing. It has great family ambiance. The food is great. Love the idea of restaurant and big arcade. Their ticket redemption area has great variety. Wish they had a day pass that would include bundle VR. The VR is a cool ride. The only downside to the restaurant side is that they don't sing happy birthday but they do give a free ice cream, if they would have sung I would have given 5 out of 5.
My Family and I had a blast. A young lady at the Front desk, Emily, was very helpful and well spoken. All questions or troubles we had she was able to answer and solve our problems. 10/10 Service and Experience :)
We were charged for beers we didn't order. When asked if they did anything for birthdays they brought out a Sunday but didn't disclose the $5 cost. The games worked and the area was clean. Very disappointed with the dishonest service and insanely priced food for something you can get at Applebees. If you plan on going get your food and drinks somewhere else.
Dave and busters? More like Dave and BUST. I walked in with a flat tummy and was walking out with my pockets empty and a pregnant full belly. I may have tried giving birth in the bathroom but could not. So I decided to let the bomb release while playing games and watching children gag on my way out.
This is an irregular review, so don't take it too seriously. I'm a contractor who was working at the site. I mentioned I was planning to grab lunch, and they offered to feed me. I requested fries. A big order, and very tasty! I could note that people were friendly and attentive, and the kitchen was very clean. Menu looks to include a lot of good stuff.
Blaize our waitress was so amazing! She was very nice and accommodating! Made us feel like we actually were important. Anytime i come here i wound suggest to get her as yours!! I will defiantly be asking for her
Our experience was great even though the power went out. We ordered are food right before the power went out but the food still came out right away. Would definitely go back when in town!
This place could be the place to have fun on the weekends if only the restaurant aspect was more organized and coordinated. That was the longest part of our night, waiting 45-60 minutes to be seated while seats were empty. The food itself is fantastic and the gaming area is top notch. Our waiter was great, super engaging and I never had to ask for a refill. It is a fun place to be. If they could fix the efficiency aspect then this is going to be a big hit place for gateway.
It seems that if you search up ?Buster?s American Kitchen? on Doordash or Ubereats it is actually this location?s food. It is severely overpriced and the food is so under the bar they're playing limbo with the devil. Ordered a medium rare steak and got a mush of raw steak and un trimmed fat- the French fries are green on the ends - the mashed potatoes have weird flakes throughout them- and they sent a pretzel big enough that it make me feel like they're trying to overcompensate? if you know what I mean. The
Our server denied us drinks because we didn't have physical copies of our id even though we had the official mobile ID with QR code. We are in UT, not surprised. That was off putting. Service was fast, food was typical bar food. Lots of games for kids.
The whole family came and everyone got what they wanted. They offer food packages with a card that has credits on it for games. The game room is vast and amazing. I ordered sides. I had the roasted Brussels sprouts with caramelized onion and bacon along with the mac ? cheese, and a side Caesar salad. The sprouts were a little too done, the bacon hard crisp, but chewable, and the mac ? cheese was different. And a side of Guacamole. I don't know if the mac n cheese is made with a mild cheese sauce but the pas
Menu is very good! Games rotate... Great staff!! Prizes pretty good too! Parking can be a challenge .. but not a deal breaker
I've been here a couple of times. The bar is great. Shay is awesome. She gave great suggestions. This will be my spot to visit moving forward. The chicken strips!!! The chicken strips!! So damn good. There were good vibes. Good people around. All around good time. The other time I went I was there with my son and he loved the games. I will be back. Highly recommended.
My group and I seated ourselves and it took about 15 minutes before a server even gave us menus. Our server let us know they were busy but there were a lot of empty tables around us and the bar didn't seem to be filled with people. We sat in our booth for 2 hours! The food came out cold and tasteless! Terrible service and extremely understaffed. The arcade portion was fine. I'd recommend eating somewhere else before coming here. I hope they can improve on their service they have all of the tools they
It was actually pretty good. Went there for a company/work thing. Staff did a scavenger hunt for our group. It was better than my "cranky old man attitude" thought it would be.
Veterans Day was absolutely perfect. Uniquely crafted cocktails a free meal and phenomenonal service.
D&B entertainment has ALWAYS Been a Go-to spot ??for Our Family to Celebrate & Enjoy spending time Together!!??The Combo Deals for Games is Reasonably Priced! ????The Menu is filled with variety of good options, plus kids menu!??For appetizers we got the Korean sticky ribs, and the shrimp scampi flatbread. The ribs were so yummy they tasted sweet, kind of like a teriyaki sauce.??We also got the fish and chips ?? and the steak with shrimp ?? Both were great, we got very full and took some home . The kids lov
I brought my whole family and we had a blast. Yes, it is a little more expensive but you are paying for premium machines and much better prizes. The tickets aren't hard to get and you can choose anything from basketballs to teddy bears. The majority of the bad reviews are about the bar area/service. I talked to some of the staff here and they're trying to hire more people but the supply simply isn't there. I'd avoid coming here Friday and Saturday nights to ensure a pleasant experience. I talked to thei
The employees are awesome, especially the manager, who gave excellent customer service. The games are fun overall. I give it a 5 star's, and I don't do that very often and food was great.
Shittiest experience ever the servers take forever to come and get you even just to refill and my server took a tip without me asking didn't give me my change and on top of that took an extra 10 bucks I do not recommend eating here the food is crap you have to wait forever for service and they always act like they're busy when they're really not. It took over 20 minutes for me just to get a refill of water and the servers refuse to make eye contact and if you ask another one something they give you the wor
Got our entr?es before our appetizers. Both mine and my daughter?s hamburgers were completely raw in the middle and I'm not talking about the little pink. I'm talking about completely undone, not cooked bright red not safe to eat. We only ate the sides. Disappointing birthday dinner. Service was great though and super fun atmosphere.
I love this location of Dave and Buster?s. I've never had a bad experience here and I've visited this location a few dozen times. Wednesdays are half price for games and if you are hungry there is a restaurant inside. There is also a fairly good sized bar if you are thirsty.
We went to enjoy a football game. We noticed tables were not bussed. Our drinks were woefully slow to come to us. No doubt the service and bus staff was understaffed. They food was good as were the drinks but I wouldn't return or recommend this place until I hear they have addressed this staffing issue.
When we have company in town and need a fun place to take them with good food Dave and Busters is the answer. Been there almost a dozen times and their food has always been good. We usually always get the Nachos and Garlic fries and they're so tasty. If I go there for dinner I will get the Ribeye. Their staff is friendly and helpful. Always smiles and making sure we are happy. The games are fun, clean, and fair value. I believe Wednesdays the games are half off. Really a fun and tasty place.
Loved the sports playing on t.v.'s all around. We always have a good time here. You can get a special deal, which is to pay 20$ for food& tokens.
Food is expensive and the taste doesn't really add up with the price. Workers are nice and pretty helpful. The atmosphere is what you'd expect but the black walls contrasting with the flashing lights is a recipe for migraines. Final thoughts: add a water fountain
Friends liked the drinks, service was overly friendly (not creepy I'm just an introvert). Some games were broken or didn't work properly. Had several fun arcade games. Would come back :)
Flavor, flavor flavor. Yes spices and seasonings something Utah is always missing in its foods. Use to eat here all the time back in Cali. Haven't been here for 3 years and we never knew there was one here in SLC so here we came, the food woke up my taste buds to flavor again. We ordered the Voodoo chicken pasta and the ribs followed by chocolate cake that was delicious fluffy and light but oh so chocolaty Ribs fell off the bone the Voodo chicken was fresh and juicy definitely shareable portions. The waite
The Bar tendors think they are kings of the word and you need to treated them like royalty... Reminder you work at D&Bs. Haha enjoy your day. Advice to management... You need to put your bartenders in check, they need to be more polite. They are in the service industry, o can get a drink at home, no need to be rude! Grow up! ?? Aka, if you are a jerk... We tip less!
Had an amazing time at Dave and Busters! We order the pretzel sticks and the quesadilla! Destinee was our server and did an amazing job helping us get what we needed! Thank you!
This is just sad. The menu is lacking in variety and most especially quality. The food is absolutely awful. If you have a small menu and less to manage the food should be good, there's no excuse other than laziness and lack of care. Frozen burger patties, and "chicken strips" that aren't fresh, are stale and dry, and about the size of a chicken nugget. The fries are lower quality than frozen isle food at Smith's. I guarantee I could outpace the ribs at a lower cost and better quality any day of the week. H
Music was extremely loud in there. We spent a good amount of money on a card but a lot of the games we scanned said scanned but didn't work. By the end, we had a lot of tickets but the take home toys were pretty lame even to give to my kids. It was fun to try once but not something i?d spend that much money on to do again.
Such a great night with friends and Whitney at the front desk made it even better. She helped us get pics out by the rainbow stairs in the Gateway. We used the Taste for Ticket program and I was able to treat my friends to a great dinner. Lief, our server, made us laugh and kept our drinks full. Gemini guy in the redemption center was working it hard and even went and got my friend extra stuffed otters. Your staff is great.
Decent food and drinks. Weird that you cannot drink by the games, but must be Utah (visiting here from California). The games are recent and in good, working order. Service is attentive and helpful.
First off, my boyfriend and two sons came here for some healthy athletic competition. That is exactly what we didn't get! The ski ball lanes couldn't keep track of my score. I nailed a 100 pocket but it didn't count so the girl team was off to a bad start. Then we migrated to the pitching machine! My boyfriend got the best score ever documented in the building. He was awarded with 620 coupons which felt fair?. Until?.it bought us two laughy taffy?s. No joke. He was awarded 2 pieces of candy for pretty much
Whether you are looking to enjoy your favorite sports team or play the latest and greatest arcade game this place has it granted it does feel like you are going into a rave party it's just so loud and chaotic which something with high energy needs to be but keep that in mind when you travel to the D&B of SLC. Food was decent their menus hit or miss they definitely pride themselves on their alcoholic beverages which is good for those that wish to partake in that but the service is pretty outstanding My wife
It was quite big and there's lots of game options. We enjoyed alot. Definitely will go again. You can reload your card with cheep at any time. The girl in front of the counter was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed playing everything specially go kart and basketball. I was hoping to play some dancing type game with music ig, but a man was continuously booked that the whole time like 1.5hr. May be he's trying to reach the highest bonus point. Lol. That made me sad. But overall we're happy.
Very impressed with the food they serve here. I love that they had a substitute for noodles, zucchini noodles! It was the tastiest chicken Alfredo dish I've had in a while. Even better as left overs the next day. The games are way fun and they've go a nice bar area too. Recommend for fun group outing/dates.
I've been to a few Dave & Busters, but when we were stuck in SLC due to car issues, we found it a place to spend a few hours. It was clean. Staff was friendly, drinks and food were great! The area around Dave & Busters, is also very walking friendly. And you could spend a good few hours enjoying yourself. Highly recommend checking it out!!
We had to wait 20 min for a seat that was empty the whole time. We got our food an hour after being seated it was warmish not hot. The kids and adults were not happy about the food at all.
Food and sevice was as good as you would expect from a grown up birthday party place. It was good enough to eat but wouldn't go there just for the food. But the games and entertainment was definitely fun.
Arcade games. You can't take any alcohol while playing games. Utah laws, am I right? Food was okay. Ordered three things for the group to share. The pizza bites were great! The others were a thumbs down. So much garlic & not enough cheese in the cheese fondue dish. Mac & cheese wasn't bad. A lot of food options though.
We came in for lunch and we stood at the front counter for a few minutes completely being ignored by Christian. Finally another employee came out and saw he was playing on his phone ignoring us and got us seated. Our server Leif for some reason decided to roll his eyes at us when we ordered unsweetened iced tea for our kids. Seriously why are the employees here so rude?
The food was surprisingly good and fast! We enjoyed hanging out and playing games while we waited for food and then again afterwards. It was a great night. Joe?s was also very attentive and had great suggestions.
Me and my friend decided to go last minute, we had the time of our lives. The plate game was our favorite, definitely recommend! (we beat the jackpot). Great atmosphere with phenomenal customer service. Alex helped us out at the ticket booth! He was the kindest human ever. Definitely recommend going here!!
Visited SLC for work. Our server/bartender was so attentive & friendly that we had to go a second time. He recognized us & and remembered what we liked. We had a great time overall.
It's AMAZING that they carry/serve the Impossible Burger!!!! It's the first time I've seen it on a menu in Utah. It's delicious! It's not so cool that you have to pay for it as a substitution when it's really the only "meal" item that is vegan (without the cheese). Games are fun! Clean and upbeat atmosphere. The elevator was out of order also, today. I'm not from the area and parking was not easy to find. The deals they offer are totally doable for a special fun night out with the family.
Arcade looks fun but I'm here to tell you make sure you bring your check book and your patience you will need them both here! Game cards are very pricey, and some of the games they have there take upwards $2 range, also food and drink service is absolutely horrible, that alone is bad enough for me not to go again 20 minutes to bring out a drink, seems like bad management, the only thing I was impressed with was how well we were greeted when we walked in hopefully they can get it figured out because the last
We hosted a work event here and everyone was thrilled. The food was amazing. Lots of games to play. Employees were attentive to our needs. Everyone had a blast and we look forward to doing this again next year.
The only reason I can't give yall a 5 star review is every time I go into the arcade it's like I'm entering a sauna, lots of machines producing lots of heat and sweating while playing the most relaxing games is kind of crazy, we would make an appearance more if this was addressed. Service and staff are great and so is the food.
I had an exceptional experience at Dave & Buster?s, thanks to Brylie?s outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, Brylie was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her positive attitude and prompt service truly made our visit enjoyable. Highly recommend asking for Brylie if you're heading there! P.S. The Strawberry Watermelon Margarita is amazing and a must try!??
The honey BBQ boneless wings are incredible and for our server only being on day 3 of the jon she new a lot about the menu
Very fun place, me and my son went and enjoyed some food. Wings are really great, crispy, and good buffalo sauce. Hamburger was made fresh. Drinks were good. Seemed to be short staffed but other than that really good food and nice atmosphere
First time. Went with my 6 yo son on a date with dad. Christian the arcade manager was super awesome in helping us know where to spend time to maximize our fun goals. Skyler also helped answer several questions. Great experience. Will be back!
This was actually a really good burger. Don't remember what the name was but it was made to order and timely for me to eat then catch a movie across the street. Thanks for the food and service.
We went to Dave & Buster's prior to a Jazz game. The burgers were really good, but the fries were not. The service was awful, and the game options were pricey.
If you are going for the games it is a great place for a young crowd, however there are lots of kids. My nachos took about 30 minutes and when they arrived they came out cold and a bit soggy. The "steak" if call it that, on the nachos tasted terrible. The manager/supervisor was consistently reminding the serving staff that food was ready but they still did not promptly retrieve the food. Several of the servers were all complaining about other staff members and also the patrons. As a side note, the bathroom
I read a lot of reviews from people who had issues with the service or food before we went this past Friday, and I just wanted to add my own voice. We had no issues! We were seated super fast since there was room at the bar. I asked the bartender if our food would come fast because we had to make a movie. He was very accommodating!!! The food came fast!! And the food was GOOD! We came for the impossible burger, and wow! It was amazing, and the Dave& Busters atmosphere made it taste all the better! The estab
Everyone here is very happy and having fun all the time. Their front desk crews are just amazing and very kind. Everyone who works here is amazing and 100% guarantee that you will enjoy your time here
One of the few food options at the gateway. We were sat right away, it wasn't very busy. We put in our drink and food orders almost immediately. Took 15 minutes for our appetizer to come out, and it was burnt and partially inedible. The burger was really salty. The chicken club sandwich came out with a really small chicken patty. Both came with fries, but we had to ask for any dipping sauce. The steak bowl was great. For almost $100 for three people we were expecting quite a bit more.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
