Customer Reviews

Very clean, but a little loud inside. (Not necessarily the arcade)The server was exceptional and attentive to the birthday table. (Kyle) First-time arcade goer, enjoyed the games, the ones that were open for play. The food was delicious. Little pricey. Will visit again.

Came with my family for father's day. We were seated for dining shortly after arriving, which we all appreciated. Our server, Kyle, was friendly and attentive. My mom received her drink in a cup with a large crack on the side that began leaking. And it was replaced quickly. We weren't impressed with the menu. My husband is vegan and the menu didn't include any options for him. He ordered the salmon bowl, without the salmon, but when our food arrived, it had the protein. The kids menu was lacking. The musi

There isn't a great variety of games, the arcade is pretty small and overpriced but the food is actually AMAZING! The BEST fish and chips I've ever had! My wife ordered the creamy chicken pasta on two separate occasions and loved it both times!

I recently visited Dave & Buster's to watch the Crawford vs. Madrimov fight and was pleasantly surprised they showed boxing matches. Despite the packed house, the customer service was commendable. Our server, Kaitlyn, was incredibly attentive, frequently checking on our table for drink refills and new orders, and we never felt rushed. The food service was exceptional, with orders consistently arriving fresh and hot in under ten minutes. It was evident they were well-prepared for the boxing match rush. Howe

The techs are super nice and usually very quick to resolve issues. They always treat our daughter really nice and typically swipe a free game or two on the duck machine whenever we have an issue with a game. Food is usually good. We've had a few issues but nothing that would prevent us going back. Burgers are actually pretty good here.

The Ribeye steak my favorite, security and game manager polite , my son and I got free 20 dollar play for signing up to app membership which allows you to not lose your points on the cards and keep playing. Also, my son and wife have the basketball shooting record at 133 from 125. The manager gave my son 1000 points for record. I highly recommend this place. Just clean your hands and bring sanitizer. Bid or charity memorabilia up front for the make a wish foundation.

I've been to a few Dave & Buster?s in the last couple years and by far are the best experience at the bar with the greatest bartender I've ever met lol. He was on top of it. He was funny and he was kind. No more needs to be said. We will be returning very soon just because of this man right here.

Went for my daughters birthday awesome day to go because hardly anyone was there. ALSO UPDATE ON MENUS like brand new they said we were the first to try the whole menu and promos. Food was great ?? everyone ate everything. Games there was enough and kids had fun as well. Service was good she was on it till the very end. Only thing why I didn't give 5 stars was third party charging service charged us and we didn't get to use it! BUT the manager tried and gave us his card to email Corp n him to get a refund

This place has some great diverse arcade games to play ranging in token price from 3.5-10 tokens/play. However, the token cards are pricey. They charge $3 for just the card and the starting price for tokens is $22 for 100 tokens. So basically $25 for 100 tokens. Their gift shop has some amazing gifts compared to many competitors who have junkie little trinkets that you can redeem for your points accrued. I've eaten here before and the food is okay, nothing to write home about. It is pricey. However, if you

Had an amazing time at Dave & Buster?s! We spent hours playing all kinds of games?everything from classics to newer arcade hits. The vibe was super energetic, and it brought out everyone?s competitive side in the best way. After working up an appetite, we grabbed dinner and were pleasantly surprised?great portions, tasty food, and solid service. It's the perfect combo of fun and food, whether you're with friends, family, or on a casual night out. Definitely coming back soon for another round of games and go

I went to this spot with my family to celebrate my son's birthday, I did not enjoy myself. The waiter was weird. This was not a good time.

Very fun place to game and eat. We enjoy playing Dance Dance Revolution here and the refillable beverages are a huge plus. Food can be hit or miss though, especially the appetizers. The flat bread is pretty mid and sad looking and the cantina nachos are fairly small as well. See updated pictures and menu prices from February 2024. The chicken entree was pretty good and the best happy hour food item would be the fried pickles hands down. Late night happy hour starts at 9 pm on weekdays and Wednesday is half

Came in on a Saturday afternoon, crowded but only wait maybe 10 minutes for a table. We ordered fish and chips which was excellent, amazing, would definitely have again. We also got a regular cheeseburger and a protein style burger both were cooked great! I was pleasantly surprised with how much good the food was. Now the games, a handful just weren't working. Other games you had scan your card multiple times and it would sometimes take more credits than it should. Some games stopped working while playing.

This was a fun place to celebrate a birthday. The food was pretty good. Service outstanding. It was a bit odd to arrive at our table with all 10 chairs facing towards the large TV rather than facing each other. I mean, we were there for a birthday, not a sport watching event, and had made arrangements prior, so they knew we were coming in for a birthday party celebration. Perhaps I am unaware of a new tradition of watching television for birthday party celebrations rather than talking with the friends a

Hunter made my date there extra special I can't believe how out if his way to save my friend money because of the favorable Machine being broken for the last couple weeks on and off he finally was able to fix it but only one side is working correctly and I'm telling you this is the reason why I come to Dave & Buster?s is this game the virtual reality Godzilla game if I don't get to play it, it's like not even the same coming in to Dave & Buster?s. I just want you to know that Hunter made my day made my made

Cool place to go to for mid night arcade and sports bar. Chicken wings are highly recommended. Carpet floor gets sticky tho from spilled drinks I supposed. Upgrade of fries to truffle is not worth it. Other than that, staff are attentive (we sat at the bar side) then went and play.

I took my husband here on a date night and we had a great time spending time together but initially upon walking in we were seated quickly by the hostess she seemed new but still professional. We sat down and waited and 5 different waitresses including the manager walked past us. Didn't even acknowledge us until the 1 waitress who was actually working told us she will be right with us and apologized for the wait. She was running around all night and seemed to be the only waitress handling the 8 tables occup

My friend and I came here to play some games and have dinner. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. We had the Margherita flatbread and the salmon protein bowl. We had 2 games not work on us and eat up our points. Please fix games so that they work properly.

Its fun when you get the season pass, 30% off food and unlimited games. Though you cap out on being able to recieve tickets at 2k per week.

The wait to sit down at a table was long, and I do not like the new ordering system. You scan a qr code and order from one phone for the whole table. The system isn't entirely clear, it could be easier to use. However, you can still opt to order from a waitress. Our food and drinks came out quickly after we figured out how to use the ordering system. Staff was fast and friendly. The food here is not great, but we mostly came for the arcade anyways. There was what seemed to be a sewage leak coming from the

The cheeseburger was smackin! Our server was nice and did a great job. Nice arcade! I feel like there should be some better direction at the front. Post someone up front to help people! The kiosks are a joke - charged my credit card 3 times @ $100 each that caused a $300 hold on my money that lasted 3 days. The manager just acted like it's not that big of a deal. This would be a 5 star review if you had better customer service when we walked in.

Pros: they have ddr and bartenders were nice and happy hour drinks were good Cos: one of the crew workers basically unlocked ddr game for one of their friends to pay unlimited for free. Went there specifically for ddr but didn't get to play. Waited over an hour and a half.. A smaller D&B so the games are very limited. Any games that had a ball or something were missing balls so it was a waste. We threw one ball and by the time the ball came back down, the game was over. The fish we ordered were overcooked

I will never be back and Round 1 across the street is my new spot and way better. Went there last Sunday night with my newly engaged Fianc? to celebrate and my cousin. We went straight to the bar to start our night off with a drink and when we sat the two bartender guys refused to look at us and acknowledge us for the first 10-15 minutes of us sitting there. These two guys sat down across from us and they instantly served them so i kindly waved them down again to try to place an order and they still took th

My wife and I often come here on date nights, but I have also brought my kids here to have fun on a random weekday. As of today they are still closing every other arcade game to maintain social distancing. Overall the facilities and the gaming area were very clean and the games all seemed maintained During date night with my wife the alcoholic drinks could be a little stronger, but they are what you would expect from a chain restaurant.

Although I was very disappointed with the NFC championship game itself, I was very happy with my experience at Dave& Buster's Roseville! All of our drinks were excellent and the food was hot and came out within a very reasonable time considering how busy the place was. We will definitely be back to enjoy some sports at the bar!

I went with my group of friends. It was so fun! We got a ton from the shop. And, this is a good arcade where the games are not rigged. I had so much fun, and the food was SO good. We got the pepperoni pizza and it came out hot and really good. The only thing was that it took a little while for the pizza to come out because it was busy. But overall, 5/5 experience.

We had a great time! Food was great, service was much better then a anticipated, and even my kiddos had fun! It was really busy, other then that was a great time with the family.

I had an amazing time, me and my wife were highly satisfied. Pri engaged us both While taking our order and service was fast for how busy it was! She was such a good time as well as the manager helping us! Melvin was a great help and loved his personality. Definitely coming back !

Pretty much the worst Dave and Busters I've ever seen. It was tiny and had barely any games. You're better off going to Round 1 across the street at the mall.

Our waiter was good. Kept refills coming. Even checked afterwards to see if everything was good. The game area is small and crowded. All machines are bunch up too close together due to the lack of space.

Fun place, good food and drinks but was highly disappointed by this visit at the amount of machines that were out of order. Many of them being the ones that offered tickets prizes. The main reason we go. Ive been here in the past and had a great time. Prizes at that time were much better as well. Very slim pickings. Well try again another time.

Smallest D&B I ever bn to. I was seated outside, which was windy. I had to reseat myself inside at a table that said reserved but I was there for two hours & no ever sat there but me & my party so I don't understand why the table was being reserved!

Had an absolutely amazing time. Much needed fun. Great prizes in the redemption store and the staff and food was perfect. Highly recommend.

Came in on Friday night around 7 (with 5 people) and we got a table in 25 minutes. Took about 10-15 minutes to get our food after we placed our orders (it was a slower night surprisingly). I ordered the Hawiaan chicken sandwich that comes with fries and it was insanely good and so juicy! I legit did not expect this from a gaming place but they did not disappoint. My friends ordered the parmesean truffle fries and they were very flavorful and the pesto sauce that came with it was bomb (pass me the same recip

Food was good but bacon on the burger was very thin. Kinda looked like microwave bacon.

We were there on the 21st. I would give 1 star but the waitress was nice. The nachos were done poorly. They had shavings of chicken and barely had any toppings. Go there for the games, def not the food.

Wednesdays are half price games. It's pretty noisy inside, but also a fun dynamic. Drinks and service are good. Food is okay. If you have a Groupon for the arcade, you can't use it on Wednesdays

Attended my work Christmas party here. Buffet style taco bar. Food was great and the servers paid great attention to all of us. Had some cool adult video games.

Austin was AMAZING! Super friendly and had a great personality as well as great service. Thanks for the amazing time we had.

We have so much fun at Dave and busters and surrounding places .Alot of games and good food

The food and service was good. Hard to rate places these days because a lot of places are functioning without a full crew or with lots of new hires. Hopefully people can be understanding of that new reality for the food industry and be patient and flexible. My 2 cents

Definitely see myself coming back for happy hour, bbq chicken flat bread was soo good definitely will come back just for that.

They accommodated our group seating and the food was surprisingly great quality!! Games are overpriced though ??

It's a really really fun place to go! It's way better then chuck e cheese! It has better games and better food. The food there its really good i usually get the deal where you can get more tokens to play. You can spend couple hours in there having a blast. Its always fun to go with someone. Just so you know Dave and busters is for everyone. Dont think its for adults its also for the kids. The kids prefers to go there instead of chuck e cheese. It's much cleaner and the games actually works! Best part when y

Great food.amazing service. The atmosphere is what it is for an amazing arcade for all ages. Just too loud with the screens and games. But that is just what you should expect with this environment.

BEWARE! Make sure to check your bank transactions after visiting this establishment. I was charged $30 extra. I called to speak with the managers & was told that the server ?closed out the bill wrong? & was offered no apology. My receipt showed the correct balance so I don't understand how that was possible. (I put $0 for gratuity on receipt because I tipped in CASH.) Thankfully they refunded me what I was being charged extra. Food was decent. Games were okay as there were a couple machines that froze & too

My first time going. Wifey went a long time ago and said it got upgraded! The food was amazing!!! I had Caesar salad with grilled chicken and ?? it was so yummy

Do you enjoy playing video games? Do you have tweens? Do you drink alcohol? If so, then this is a great place for you. I'm not a gamer, this wasn't my kind of place. That is the only reason I didn't give the review five stars. It can be a pricey first date. DB is super busy on the weekends. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY

Awesome place to go hang out they stay open late and I love beating aliens. Perfect for a date night! Great customer service. Reasonable prices. I would highly recommend this place just to go have fun. They even have a new games in! :-)

Food is pretty good and the games are great for killing some time with friends. My kids love it so it's a win win for us. It would be nice if you could just buy a play card and add it to the bill. So you can get up and go play instead of going back over to the card machines.

No complaints on the food, got the chicken Parmesan and it was fine. Was disappointed they were not offering draft beers saying their dispenser was broken. Many games broken, either turned off to repair or worse yet would take your credits and not work. VR game has headsets with straps that are totally destroyed and held together by zipties. This is the smallest Dave and Busters I've been to, and feels inadequate. Place seemed ghetto for being at the fountains, dirty and smelled bad. All the hand sanitizer

Loads of fun! Awesome food! Great atmosphere! Worth the money I spent here and I'm typically a cheap skate ??

Great staff! Quick food service! Good food! My kids live this place!

Games are always fun and the food is good. We typically only order beer here so I can't comment on quality of the drinks (but it looks like other people are enjoying them). Service, however? it's hit or miss from the hosts/hostesses to bartenders and food servers all the at back to the prize redemption workers. A little personality can go a long way. All that said, we've never had a bad time here.

Had fun playing games at a company event. Virtual reality game was intense. First time playing.

It is an ok place, games are fun with a decent mix of kids games and games for people of all ages. The food was ok at best. Service was average. My wife and her friend liked their drinks. Might be better to come during an evening happy hour.

This place is great for kids and big families. The food is ok, a lot of fried options. The burgers and fries were good. The pretzel sticks are good, just salty as well as the fried pickels. Those were overwhelming with salt. Be ware. Drinks aren't too bad. Ordered a strawberry margarita. It was tasty. Atmosphere is LOUD due to all the kids having a good time, not that this is bad, but it's the tvs that they have up so high they you can't have a conversation at the table on top of the music in the arcade roo

First time visit to this location was very memorable. The food was high quality, the games worked and looked great. The employee Noah helped us with the digital app and was very friendly. We will be visiting this location again in the future.

Flatbread pizza was a hit! Service was very great, we sat at the bar and were greeted instantly. Food was served hot and quickly and I got ranch on the side right away. I will defiantly be going back.

Laid back vibe everybody was cool getting along. Food was good, servers were cool. The drinks were slamming and we had a great time as a family.

They add gratuity to game card purchases at dine-in tables without prior disclosure. Unfair and misleading practice, undermining trust. Management should reconsider and provide transparent information. Cannot recommend this venue. Our food tab was $82 and suggested gratuity was $44 because of the game cards.

It was for my birthday, 64th just to put it out there. ?? The atmosphere was mellow and the food was on point. My companion an I both had the ribs.?? Seasoned so good, make you bite your lip. I just came to eat but checked out the game room. To my surprise there was this spaceship game from back in the day. It was on after that. We played the ax game and some others. I had a great b-day at Dave & Buster's. You are never to old to kick it at Dave & Buster's and have a great and memorable time. The staff is

Took my 3 boys for the first time to Dave and Busters on Wednesday since games were half price and they had an amazing time!! They were happy to play with ?older kids? games compared to Chuck E. Cheese and the prizes were better suited for them. My oldest was also thrilled he won a huge bouncing ball from the claw machine! There was also a very sweet employee named Scott who assisted us when one of my boys got a ball stuck from the bowling game and he credited us back for that game even though he didn't hav

This was the first time ever going there, it was very busy, but not to bad, it was hot if you were sitting but as played games I didn't really notice it, the kids were not as much of a takeaway as I had anticipated. The music was good and the variety of games were great! The selection of prizes were great as well! And we had a wonderful server her name was sienna she was just wonderful! The food service was fast we didn't wait that long at all and we both got the ultimate macaroni, we got the eat and play d

Wait wasn't too long. Great family fun atmosphere. Food is was hot and tasty. Service was friendly and speedy.

The service was amazing, but our food kept getting messed up. We were getting ready to leave, and we ordered pretzel dogs and the s'mores dessert cake to go. They accidentally gave us mozzarella sticks instead of the pretzel dogs, which wasn't a big deal. They remade it, and we were on our way. However, in the car, we started eating our cake, and it had a spicy taste that didn't belong. We went back inside to find out it had some savory spice on it rather than Graham crackers like it was supposed to. At thi

One of my favorite places to go for games, family time & Delish food!

Love this place. I love the food and drinks here. They have a good dinning area for a good crowd. I also love the games they have a mix of different ones. The service is okay it could use some tuning up but I know everyone is getting used to seeing a crowd of people. It will get better soon.

I've been coming here since this location opened and unfortunately I can tell this store is starting to lose money/customers. The bar area needs more help, there's times there's only 1 bar tender and you're waiting almost 10 minutes to get served! The food has definitely improved, games are fun and all in all it's a good time. Credits are a bit pricey, plan on spending $100+ if you have kids.

Our first time there. Food was delivered quickly and was pretty good. Fair pricing on food. Gaming cards, for a first time are expensive but the kids both said the gaming was a better deal then John's Incr.pizza.

I travel all over the US and have been going to Dave and Busters for 20 years. This was the worst experience I have had. My partner and I went to play some games. Five of the seven games we tried were broken. One of the games, a VR, didn't have one of the two controllers. When I asked the attendant for my money back, he claimed it was still playable (it is absolutely not) and told me tough luck. Don't go there if you want to play any games or get decent service.

Pretty busy place not as big as the ones I been to in southern California but overall it was a good time. The kids enjoyed them self's

Good place to take your kids and play video games, Wednesday is half off and Thursdays theres a deal for 29.99 I think it's all you can eat wings and they give some free gaming tokens with that deal, if memory serves me correctly! This Roseville location is pretty small in comparison to the other locations. Best idea would probably be to "supercharge" your gaming token card online on Wednesday and get double tokens plus the extra you get for the supercharge. Haven't tried it yet, but next time we go we will

Atmosphere was cool didn't order any food just went to play games with my son

Foods good prices are awesome with discounts from being a app member.. service is where things get a little cold. Food came out at different times and order was wrong. Beer was chilled not cold but over we had a blast. We go a couple times a month..

Always a good time here . Love the games . Food isn't thay great

Was there for a large birthday party of over 20. Playing cards were all there and correct and the service was stellar. Very attentive and great with handling so many kids and their demands. Food was ok, but I also have to remember we ordered in large quantities so it might have had to sit a little. Overall a great experience.

Fun. Time. With. The. Family.

Had the philly cheese steak sandwich and fries it was very good the games are fun a nice place to go on a date or hang out with some friends or family. ??

Major Letdown ? Not Worth the Money I expected a fun night out at Dave & Buster?s in Roseville, but it turned out to be a major disappointment. The food was way below standard, starting with the nachos?barely any toppings, just dry chips with a sprinkle of sadness. The chicken sandwich was no better, drenched in a gross, off-putting sauce that made it nearly inedible. To make matters worse, everything is wildly overpriced. It's shockingly easy to drop over $300 between food, drinks, and games, and for wha

Good food super clean only problem they had to many people in there at one time. All in all good

Food and service were adequate, if a bit on the slow side. My biggest issue during this visit is that SEVERAL of the arcade games were out of order, including favorites like Let's Bounce and the rubber duckie claw machine.

Customer service from the staff was great! Had drinks pretty quick and kept them filled. Very crowed and lots of kids. Decent games and some cool prizes if you have the right amount of tickets. Only complaint was the food. I wish it was still kept hot in the heaters they used, but maybe they were broken since most of the selection was very cold. The taste wasnt the best, some bland taste. Not really my choice for mexican for a Christmas party but other than that it was great. There are great packages of

It was nice a few game options, but some games were out of order. The bartenders chitchat to much and may forget to take your drink order. Seems like it's more for kids and with adult beverages. The point shop is nice, lots of obtainable options. Just wish there were fewer kids so it wouldn't feel like a chucky cheese. Considering we went Round 11pm it was okay

Food was good. It's easy to get lost trying to play games with your friends or family. Definitely come here for special occasions.

I had an absolute terrible experience with Dave's hot chicken after I got an uncooked meat which was terribly disgusting they did not make the time to give me a refund or replace my chicken.

Ordered food for the family using the dave and busters website. Got burgers and chicken sandwiches. The sandwiches were good but all the burgers were super raw and despite some of the burgers being ordered as plain there was some sauce on all of them. Ended up needing to to cook it ourselves and replace the bun with sliced bread. Seriously a let down for a $90 meal.

We went for the all you can eat wings and games. The bone-in wings are fantastic!! Their fries are also delicious. We had chips and queso which was amazing as well. The games are pretty fun. You are limited on the free play but there are about 7 good ones.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
