The server Alex was great! We enjoyed our time at Dave & Buster's to Celebrate Paula's Birthday!
TEAM RED GREYSTAR . The food and drinks were great, and there was something for everyone. The arcade games added an exciting, competitive edge to the event, making it a perfect mix of teamwork and fun. It was a fantastic way to bond outside of work while letting loose and enjoying some friendly competition. Highly recommend Dave & Buster?s for any corporate event or team-building activity?it's a guaranteed good time! We'll definitely be back.
Absolutely had a great time here!!! The bartender was amazing and so friendly!!! My only issue is that in the women?s bathroom the changing table is horribly slanted?. I definitely was not willing to put my child on it for fear of him moving and falling off of it. Please replace it?.
Celebrated my son's 11th birthday here. I had reserved a table 2 months in advance for about 8 people. When we arrived, I could see that we didn't really need to. For a Thursday night, it was fairly empty, but we didn't mind. It did take them a couple of minutes to get a table set for us. Our server Mateo was beyond awesome. He was super friendly and accommodating. Everyone was able to eat and drink in a timely manner, then go and enjoy the games! They had a huge selection of games, and all of them were wor
D&B's is one of my son's favorite places to go - he LOVES the Virtual Reality experience, racing, playing air hockey, shooting hoops and all of the other arcade games. Definitely fun for family nights out or birthday parties. We normally make a night of it and grab food and drinks from the restaurant. Always a great time.
Loud, dirty, bad service. Fried pickles were soggy. Fish and chips dish was even soggier. Bar drinks taste like juice and water, very diluted with mostly ice. Service was bad, our waiter even spilled soda all over our table and on my son. Everything was dirty and outdated. Bathrooms were disgusting.
We love Chuck E Cheese, but this has got to be my new favorite family fun past time! We were celebrating my son's 40th & had so much fun! The employees were awesome!!!
You have a fantastic host named Heidi! This sweet young lady always has a welcoming smile on her face. She is so knowledgeable about the app and always helps us with a pleasant demeanor. Her training skills are spot on as she assisted Braylon as well. Love coming there and seeing people with great attitudes like Heidi! That's what keeps us coming back!
Not sure how I never knew about this location and I'm a local! I went on a Saturday Night and it was so peaceful compared to the Concord location. As soon as I walked in I noticed how nice the interior was. It gave lounge vibes versus casual bar. The staff were very helpful and answered all of my questions. Last call for alcohol and food was minutes away but they got everything in and it was BOMB! I love arcade games and I loved all the selections they had. All ages will be pleased.
It's been over a decade since my last visit to a Dave & Busters, and I think Bri's incredible service might make me come back. I assume this location is always busy, and today seemed pretty full, but Bri was a pro. After managing restaurants for over 2 decades, it's refreshing to still see customer service being given. My questions were answered, drinks refilled, and all while giving a smile. Thank you for your wonderful service and positive attitude Bri.
I go to Dave and Buster's a lot because overall, it is a great place however, games do break a lot and they are a bit delayed to keep everything in at least good enough condition to still be playable. The food is very good, however it is extremely unhealthy, so if you are on a diet I do not recommend it. If you have no food restrictions go for it, just be careful of the sodium! Updated: I am a frequent customer and I lower the rating because the server of most of the staff is extremely poor. The game techn
My sons and I had a wonderful time at Dave & Busters. We started off the afternoon noon playing the wide selection of games. For starters, refilling my Dave & Busters card was a painless process that took all of 3 mins and we were ready to play. Once the boys got tired, we settled down and ate some delicious wings, chicken tenders and fries. The service is quick and the waiter had excellent attention to detail. Once we finished our food, we went back to playing more games. I would suggest going between 2-7p
Dave and Busters has to be Started based on food and gaming. Let's start off with food. For context this was at noon on Saturday and not much of a crowd. The menu has several tasty looking options. They are quick to seat you but take 10 minutes to come take drink or food orders. Food takes a good long time to be delivered. In our case, 4 adult meals came and 10 minutes later the kids food was delivered. This didn't make the kids happy and definitely makes a meal not as enjoyable (especially when it
First time at this location. I have to say it's much smaller than concord, but way better. Cleaner, less broken/not working properly games, friendlier staff, and to extend on the cleanliness statement...the bathrooms!!! Wow! Actually felt safe/comfortable using them. Latoya at the bar was absolutely amazing! Very accommodating, friendly, and patient! Will most definitely return in the near future!
Nice place for family and friends. You have something for everyone; large screens for sports, games for both kids and adults to enjoy. The food was OK, the service needs improvement, as it took long to get our food, we got it somewhat cold, had to wait for silverware, which they ended up getting us plastic. Friendly staff. Some games were out of order.
Our waitress was lovely! However food was not it. They kept getting our order wrong. First we got our main meal before our appetizer. I had to let our waitress know we didn't even get it. Then the pretzel dogs that we did finally get tasted horrible. Then my order of wings was wrong. Then my fries were wrong. ALOT wrong with the kitchen! I'd avoid eating there.
Meh, we had fun playing games but the atmosphere and everything else for that matter have fallen off dramatically since I last visited over 5 years ago. The last time I was here, drinks were not overly watered down. The last time I was here, it was cost-effective to eat, drink, and play games for hours. They didn't hoard the game cards and constantly were trying to give you more points/chips to keep playing. That makes sense for your business, actually... give away free game cards to keep you playing and dr
Had a company event for RPM Living (Apartments) and it was GREAT. Staff was great. Food was great. AV was perfect. An absolute flawless event. Sara our coordinator was AMAZING.
The food was great, service was great and lots of games to play. The service was great. I have it 4 stars because it's not perfect. For me, it was a bit noisy.
My kids absolutely love going here. They have incredible games! The food is very good. The overall atmosphere is great!
Came for my birthday, a lot of the games were not working and a few took my credits without gameplay. The bar tender did not want to talk to me she would look at me and not even speak. It wasn't busy enough for me to get ignored at all.
Great place to spend time on any day of the week. Food and drinks were really good, I didn't expect it from arcade center. I had avocado chicken sandwich and my husband had one of their burgers, price was definitely fair compare to other places in Charlotte. It took quite a bit of a time to prepare but was worth it. Games were fun too. Will be coming back!
My daughter left her jacket at the table after we ate , our server was amazing ! However the host tried to STEAL my daughters jacket , the manager said she put it at the host stand but it was no longer there .. the manager then found it hidden under the host stand covered by menus .
When seated it was us and 3 other tables, waited over an hour, not exaggerating at all about an hour and 10 minutes, for 1 burger and 1 chicken sandwich. Burger was overcooked and chicken sandwich was drowning in sauce. 3 different games took the points off our cards but never dropped the items needed for the game or even worked, big games too that cost around 10 points each. One of the mario kart games had a broken steering wheel. Games we actually got to play were fun but definitely not worth the $80+ we
I went to an dating event (5/22/25) and surprisingly I had a great time. Good food, lots of fun. Very happy with everything, going back soon.
I had my son?s 10th birthday out here yesterday, for almost $400 bucks it was NOT worth it. You don't get unlimited food just unlimited drinks so we got the food and it got cold and I feel like the birthday person should?ve got unlimited game play. It was a waste of my money. Never again. Jim the manager was nice there.
Food is really tasty, but on the pricey side. The service is rather slow. Good options of games, but wish there were more retro options. Very loud, so if you want a quiet place to relax, I'd suggest going somewhere else. Some areas have flashing lights, so keep that in mind for people who might come along with you.
Spend Saturday morning with my daughter here. Might be a little bit pricey but worth it. Totally recommended
So oddly enough I am giving a 5 star review on a glitch. Because of how it was handled. Sarah the A-gm is truly a get it done, customer service oriented, great service grade A management! We go here maybe once a month on half off Wednesday games and we had a free Burger show that we earned from spent tokens on the reward program but it wasn't showing up on there end. She didn't even hesitate. She fixed us right up.. games are fun even when they Malfunction we always get more back in return. We never have a
Good variety of games, fairly empty for a Saturday afternoon. System was down for over 40 minutes -- nothing worked during that time and no comms to guests. You'd think they have some override or gratuity credits - kids stating at screens nobody can use.
Food was weird & took forever to come, but was room temp. Got rid of ski ball game. However ended up loving ski ball. I appreciated them understanding and comping my meals, but won't be back.
Overall great experience but there weren't as many games at this location as some of the other locations that I've been to. Don't let that deter you because it's worth the time to drive there.
Good location, great parking and many games to play. Kept very clean and machines are always up and running. Prizes are not bad but be prepared to spend a few dollars. Area for eating and a bar area. My son likes this location and check the calendar for specials. Pictures of prizes posted.
Did food and fun for kids Bday. Huge mix of games. Many games for teens to adults. Some games for smaller kids, though not as many. Pricey, but fun.
We went out for a girls day and enjoyed the games. Anytime a game didnt work a Game Crew would help. But it was frustrating that at least 4 games would mess up, your coins were charged. And either no tickets were given or you were left without coins. Game crew did help by helping you get tickets at another game. But it didnt always compensate for your losses. We ordered a pretzel as a snack and it was HUGE. Nice and fluffy, well seasoned with salt. The cheese had an odd grainy texture. And the honey mustard
Love going here with my friends! We always come when we want to hangout, the last time we tired the food, it was amazing !
Rude service and they do not know how to make drinks. Very rude and unfriendly bartenders w attitudes. Bartender just walked back and forth and ignored me for 20mins and took another persons order that walked up in front of me. I asked another worker to remake my drink because it was not good. The manager came and said someone would remake the drink. No one did. When I asked the lady about if she was remaking it she gave me a nasty attitude and said the manager was suppose to remake it I told her No! Not c
Just visoted yesterday for my birthday and it was so busy there last night. We had a 45 minute wait to seat our party of 6. It flew by, I mean we WERE at Dave and Busters so we had plenty to do to pass the time lol. The servers were great, very busy but they did very well under pressure. We had a great time and we appreciated the cake cutter and extra plates that we got for cake! Food was delicous and came out very fast. Cake is from Harris Teeter!
The family really had a good time and they really enjoy this Dave and Busters. We stay longer then expected but it was worth every minute. Food and customer service was good as well
Good selection of games. We went around mid-day which makes it hard to fully judge, but they had a good amount of games and they all seemed to be in working order.
Do not download the app and put money on it. The staff is rude. They don't want to help you with it. They say it's a third-party app yet. They're advertising it all over the place to get it so I downloaded the app. I put $100 on it and nobody wants to help me to use it. They don't give you the $20 free gameplay. It's a scam come on Dave & Buster?s. Get your stuff to be nice. I gotta say that the girl at the bar was very nice. Her name was Michelle. She was awesome. Everybody was rude.
This is an amazing place to take your kids or to have fun yourself. The staff was amazing and help us so much. One of the staff Tori was helping us the whole time, so amazing please give her a raise.
This is the best Dave & Busters around Charlotte. The other locations tend to have sketchy guests loitering. This one is good and still family friendly. The selection of games is among the best I've seen as well. Location - 5/5 Cleanliness - 5/5 Clientele - 5/5 Family Friendly - 5/5 Location Safety - 5/5 Parking - 5/5
Dave and busters at Carolina Place mall! Can't believe I spent whole day with the kids here, eat drink and play. My kids haven't gone out since Covid and this is a big stress reliever. Food was great, forgot to take pictures before we start eating??, service was exceptional!
Probably at least 30 to 40% of the games are broken and there are no ?out of order? signs up on any of them. This means you will either be trying to chase down an employee to give you credit back on your card or just counting it as a loss, as it's very hard to find employees on the floor. It seems that more and more of the video games are not working every time I go back. ended up leaving early with plenty left on the playing card because it just was ridiculous. Won't be taking my son back for a while sadl
This is Chuck e Cheese for adults. Great interactive games and fun things to play. You will always have a good time here. Plenty of things for kids and adults to do. The service was pretty slow when I was there. Food came out pretty quick, but had to ask for plates from the bar since we could not find our waitress at all. They were pretty busy, but would expect a little bit better.
Came for my grandsons bday. He had a ball, the food was great (I got the Cobb salad), and the service was awesome. Games were mediocre but like I said he enjoyed it!!
We had a large company event there yesterday and everything was fantastic, the food, service and atmosphere was top notch and everyone had a great time!
ok so we have been to this location a couple times and it used to be great but after the last coupe times being so bad we are done with d&b we went to play some arcade games and when we go we never spend less than $100 when we show up we go to put chips on a card and we talked to the lady at the front desk payed for like 120 or 150 dollars in chips after we pay i go to swipe my card at a game and it says 0 chips so we go back up to get it fixed the lady had to call the manager up to get the chips to go on o
Dave and Busters Pineville location? the absolute best management and service! I took almost 200 high school students for Senior week. Jim the manager was more than accommodating. He went above and beyond our expectations. The staff was kind, welcoming, and truly on top of everything! This is a trip I hope to do for years to come for our Seniors.
Greg and Tori were very nice and friendly. They were very helpful with my questions and everything I needed to do. Those guys are awesome and the games are FUN!!
Our group had a blast. Great deal fun, food & Play. Fabulous location! Service was on point.
It was a very busy Sunday and there were tons of football games on! I can definitely see why people come here to watch the game. Tons of games, and most of them were good, the claw machines were lacking and really weren't that great. Went to the restaurant and had a very nice waiter. Service was a little slow but it could be because it was so busy. Otherwise I think I'd go back. Prices were a bit high but that's to be expected. Food was good as well. Pictured are chicken and waffles.
Last time, I gave a 1 star because of crowds and female bartender poor perform. Now, I gave a 5 star. Because, young man from the bar seem so hard worked and patience with guests.
Service was terrible. Food did not come out prepared as it should. Just in case you order wings with a dry rub. I ordered chicken wings with a dry rub and the rub came out in a condiment cup instead of wings being tossed in rub. Will definitely think twice before coming back to this particular location. There is no local Dave and Busters where I live. I was excited to try it out. Definitely VERY disappointed.
The customer service was WONDERFUL at this location!! Every staff member we encountered were friendly, entertaining and helpful!! We did not enjoy the shareables we had but didn't make a fuss about it. We will definitely come to play again but we will eat elsewhere.
Had such a great experience! Tori was so helpful and kind really made my dave a busters experience Defiantly recommend coming here even on a random day just for fun - had a great time with great service! 10/10
A handful of the games were broken and took our money. No refunds even thougb they stole about 12$ from us. Don't waste your time.
Used a groupon for all day blue swipe games for two. Well worth the price. I wish there were more blue swipe games but it worked out for my young children. It is pricey so if you're paying full price for chips the games add up quickly like 7 chips a game on average. Still a good time. We didn't partake in the food.
Great experience!! The waiter I had was the best. Kid friendly and tired parent friendly. So sweet and very kind. I wish I remembered her name. I came Sunday 12/23
5 stars would include more games for the younger kids and better prize choices. We spent a lot of money on chips and couldn't even get candy for the kids.
alot of old out dated games...only one working air hockey table....just overpriced beers and outdated games with alot of them not working....the ticket room is a joke...staff looked miserable....menus and table were sticky and there was fruit flies buzzing around our table and the one next to us... the burgers were ok buns were greasy and cold fries.....they really need to update the games big time....several of the games just took credits twice....its slowly becoming chuckee cheese ...to top ot off people
Our visit to Dave & Buster?s was a huge letdown. They promised 3 pieces of pizza per person, but instead, they sliced one piece into three small portions, which felt deceptive. On top of that, they served club soda to the kids instead of Sprite, which was very disappointing. The staff was rude and unhelpful throughout our time there. After the first round of food, they completely forgot about the rest of the order, and we had to wait 20 minutes for the second serving to arrive. The overall experience was p
Great on Wednesday half price day. They were great helping my kid get his prize from machine.
I took my children here over the weekend to have a nice family dinner and a decent little restaurant and be able to play games. Of course. The gaming aspect was great. Most of the games were working. You know very clean. However, upon trying to get over and get myself a table to eat, I had the very serious, unfortunate experience with the hostess. Short women with red hair was the hostess that evening. After being seated at the table, it took over 25 minutes to even have a waitress come to the table. It mad
#DNBTeambuilding! So much fun with my co workers! Thanks for hosting!
First time at this D&B. Didn't eat there (too expensive )but played a few games. The place is still being renovated, a few of the games aren't working properly and you have to keep calling on staff to fix something. Not a great experience.
The staff is always great, and I really appreciate how wonderful the servers are. The food has been disappointing the past couple of times we have been. Things seem dried out and overcooked. The fries are really dark, and it seems like the pretzels are reheated several times. It's almost impossible to chew, and we returned ours to the kitchen. Philly Cheesteak was good, and the desserts were amazing. We especially enjoy half price game days, and we will come back. I do wish the food would return to its usua
Had an amazing time. Staff was amazing, ms Tory really made my families night. Would go back just for the amazing staff
They had amazing service and alot of fun games to play can't wait to go back
Some of the best customer service ever great pleasure to be served by Dakota of Rock Hill location she is always goes above and beyond ...and Mckenie of rock hill location is also a very great pleasure to be around will always stop whenever I'm in the area
Greg was awesome. He helped with getting a game card and meal. Also Tori is a terrific manager she had a great smile!
It is nice to go to a place with your family, friends and kids but it is very overwhelming, concerning, and disgusting to see how dirty, stinky and messy the bathrooms are. Like if there were no staff at the place.
I love this place , it's the best ! Tori and Shiloh are the absolute best ,these rock stars will make sure you have a great visit every time 10/10
Dave & Buster?s is a great place for kids to have lots of fun and Tori was very helpful
We had a blast playing games! A miltary discount is mentioned in a couple of different spots. Airmen: Do you offer a military discount? Bartender: That doesn't matter here. Airmen: I mean for the games and stuff, not drinks. Bartender: It doesn't matter.
I really don't want hate from this but it is a honest review. The food I had was really sub par. None of it was what I would call restaurant quality it was mostly TV dinner quality. Hope that paints a picture. It ended up being about 75$ for 2 people appetizers, entrees and a drink each. After the food we went to play games and I might be out of touch but the games here want to fail you fast. I remember being able to play for a while with 20$ in credits but seems like it's 10 games and they all are under on
Management scrambled to accommodate a party of 10 when they had no record of our reservation. They did great!
We had a 8 years old birthday party and everything went great. Great games and good food. Loved the service from Michelle. We will be back for more!
The only reason to go here is for the arcade which is a decent size and has a pretty good variety. But several of the games we played had faulty controllers that 'conveniently' caused you to suddenly lose (in fps games) or wipe out randomly (in the racing games) - which of course leads to the 'pay to keep playing' screen. And they are sneaky about it too - if you actually do the math on the price per credit, it's pretty darn expensive to play some of these games that only last a few minutes at best. The foo
We love Dave and Buster's! Fun games, great food, friendly atmosphere.
My food was wrong, could not get refills on drinks after asking multiple times. Sat at a table with signage all around it that made it difficult to even access the table. They did not bring napkins or silverware. We were having a wonderful evening until we went to Dave and Busters.
The food was pretty good for a bar like menu. The service was average as well. I got a drink refill during the meal, and she checked in on us. The place was very loud, and it had a fun atmosphere, but it was a bit much after a while. Some of the games were broken and there was one guy to fix them. The kids had fun so that's what muttered to me. Just got a bad taste in my mouth over the way the bill was handled. I asked about game cards to play the video games, and my server got me 2 $50 cards for the gro
Been here a few times with the family already and wanted to write out this review. The Dave and Busters in Pineville is great. The experience inside is amazing. With the place being clean most of the time and almost zero problems with machines not working, (happened once). The shop items that you get to choose from are great deals and the kids always have a great time. Would recommend to others.
Everything Was Excellent very live environment , Food, Games, Drinks all at a very good price I had so much fun ??
We had a great time!! The ribs were good. The fries came out cold, so they promptly replaced them. The staff was friendly. Then we had a fun playing the games
I don't normally leave reviews, especially not reviews for out of state businesses but I feel obligated. On top of how rude the management was for us not ordering a bacon burger to his standards (they brought it out to us made wrong and got upset with us for how we ordered it). The whole family got various severities of FOOD POISONING. 2 of which being my sister in law and myself now sitting in the hospital for uncontrollable vomiting in a state 11 hours from our home with a plane to catch at 12pm. There's
Took my kids here for their birthday, we played games and ate dinner. We had some trouble with our food, but the manager on duty, Sara, was incredible!!!! Sara handled our situation perfectly in a timely manner without needing to even ask!!! Someone who has been on the other side of the situation, completely understand what she was dealing with, and it's one of the reasons we continue coming here! Great job D&B Pineville!!!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
