Took the Basketball team here for dinner after winning the Championship. The kids, and parents enjoyed the atmosphere. For dinner I ordered the eat, drink, and play combo. I chose the Half Rack Smokehouse Ribs, which were very tender, and the meat was fall off the bone delicious! The service at the bar was very friendly, and professional.
This location is great! I've never gotten food at a Dave and Busters before, I got the fried chicken sandwich with fries - it was very good! There's a ton of games to choose from, we did discover a calibration issue with the buck hunt game and talked with a game tech. The issue was going to take a little bit to resolve and we had already paid for the game so the tech was super nice and set us up on Mario kart for free while we waited and let us know as soon as the buck hunt game was ready for us!
Always loud but such fun. The food was great, our server was awesome, and my kids and grandchildren had a wonderful time. I took lots of pictures and it was wonderful for multi-generational bonding.
This Dave& Buster's is in a good location. It's very large and widespread. The game's are all decently positioned. They should get a little more variety instead of a lot of repeat games. When we walked in the only thing you could smell was pot and unfortunately that's a bad thing to have in a area of games and restaurants that a lot of children are at. There was a few games there that are absolutely 100% rigged in favor of Dave& Buster's and I think that that is unacceptable. There was quite a few beer
We came here for date night. We had never been here before. Having gotten off work, we hadn't had dinner. We walked in and downstairs and headed to the dining area. We sat for a while until we tracked down a server, wondering if we needed to order at the bar. No, they said they just never saw us sit because our booth was hidden slightly. The server then stopped by, and we ordered. The food arrived in a timely manner, and my date asked for a refill. We ate the food ( it was good ), but a refill never ar
Been a long time since I've been to a Dave & Buster's. We split a slider appetizer & the chicken tender, fried pickles, & fries appetizer (chicken tenders would be the only food that I enjoyed). Food was very bland. Also ordered a Backwoods Blueberry Lemonade - it was alright. Became very crowded with children (after i took my picture) & the employees seemed like they had better things to do than be there (food left on tables for long while after the people left & one employee almost plowed into me whil
I do wish ZERO stars was an option, because that's what we got... and that's what they got too, as in, NONE of our busine$$! About 2pm yesterday (a Friday), three of us were hoping to enjoy a lunch there, then spend whatever ridiculous amount of money playing games. NONE of that happened because were weren't even greeted by the "restaurant" staff. For a while, we waited at what we thought was a reception/hostess desk - no one acknowledged us. So, I walked over and asked the bartender who kindly told us w
I used to bring my youngest son here all the time and we would eat and purchase maximum play cards. I took my family here today and we are practically priced out of eating. The food price and quality aren't really justifiable. They don't have prices of drinks on the menu, they are $13 to $15 per drink. I ordered side of ranch and never got it, asked for it again when my meal was served and the waitress never came back. Guess I won't have ranch with this meal. I'm currently writing this review while w
Go here a couple times a month. Always enjoy some good Midway games. Game tech Alex is very skilled at his trade and it shows by how well maintained the games always are. Service is a little slow but it's not really their primary thing so understandable.
Food was good and priced fairly decent. Service was okay when we could found our waitress. I guess the games are fun if you want to blow a couple hundred dollars in about 2 hours. For your $200 worth of games you will get about $7 worth of candy when you trade your tickets in. Also don't fall for the 59.99 dinner that comes with a $50 card for games because it maxes out at 1,500 tickets and nobody told me. That was a definite waste of money. I give it five stars everywhere except service gets three stars. W
This was an awesome outing for our family !!! Love the layout and there were lots of little kids, which was perfect for our two littles. Loved we could grab a drink and food and get right back to playing!
We love this place! We come every year on both of our sons birthdays and sometimes just thru the year for some fun! We have tried many food items, burgers and lettuce wraps are my favorite, my oldest sons favorite is the wings. They have great drink prices for happy hour. They keep this place very clean and picked up. New games get added often and I recommend getting the app to keep track of all deals and points you aquire. At times they have a dj and that makes it a little extra exciting.
First time at this location and I love it??! We were greeted?? at the door and seated?? immediately. Our waitress was the nicest person ever??. Our food was out to the table so fast we couldn't believe it ??! The food was delicious ?? and picture perfect as usual for Dave and Buster's ??!!! That's a claim to fame that not all restaurants can live up to!
Came to this location to celebrate my daughters birthday. It was just the three of us (daughter, son and myself). I purchased a pkg containing 900 points and it was more than enough for them to have a GREAT time! The atmosphere was loud and exciting enough to keep them entertained for almost 3 hours.
I just dropped by to have lunch. The food was good (I had a "plant substitute" burger and truffle fries), but not amazing. The sandwich was a little small. My server was very friendly and attentive. The loud music and sounds from the game room killed the "ambiance" for eating. After lunch, I walked through the game room and, had I had time, would have really enjoyed playing. Lots of cool games.
My first time here...they didn't let any of us know that there is an extra charge for each card. It makes a difference for a family on a budget. I thought I would pay $60 plus tax but it ended up being an extra $10. It just would have been nice to know this in advance rather than at the end of the evening when we were leaving.
The food was surprisingly good. Large menu with decent selections of bar type foods as well as veggie options and more ?elevated? bar foods. Service was good. I hate how loud it is in there but I know that's the way places like that are and it's for kids after all and my nephew has a good time. We took him there for his 6th birthday.
If you are looking for a place to spend with friends, it is an excellent place. If you want to give your kids a fun time, it is the right one, but to eat it is better that you think in another place, I am not sure if it all depends on the chef of the day, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I also saw fewer games on this visit and they did not attract attention since they are a bit old.
It is sensory overload in a positive atmosphere. Comfortable bar area. Convenient restroom. Love the concept. Vegas level arcades.
This location is definitely better than the one at the Legends! Great service, a little busy but not overly crowded, games are so much fun, food selection however is limited and they seem to be out of several items. Overall, good experience with my teenagers!!
I was with about 17 co workers and we had a reservation. Yet we were not properly seated initially, the the meals were brought out 20 minutes apart from each other, so some ate while others waited for theirs to arrive. Also the waiters kept bringing wrong dishes to our table that someone else had ordered.
I was extremely disappointed with the service and staff my first time visiting here this past weekend. It was my birthday and we thought we would do something fun. We were originally going to go somewhere else for dinner, but saw this place had food so decided we would do everything at one place. It was busy, but not overly busy, around 8:30pm. We decided to sit at the bar, the bartenders were completely ignoring us and mostly talking to each other, it took about 25 minutes before we even got someone to
Came here the other night with the family for dinner and some arcades. Fun atmosphere and definitely don't have to worry about the kids bothering other guests. Got the token and meal which is recommended if you planning to play. The pasta steak and shrimp dish was good.
Nothing to complain about. The guy working the human crane was great. He engaged with the kids and got them even more excited than they already were. Will definitely be back.
My brother and I went here a few weeks ago for our 24th birthday , 10/10 experience. We came from out of town and had ssssoooo much fun, if I ever get the chance I'll absolutely be visiting again.
My brother held my niece's 5th birthday celebration there this past weekend and the service was amazing. Our party was a large one and we were well taken care of. The servers and management were so kind, attentive, and made sure we enjoyed our visit. The games were fun and the family time was appreciated, especially in space that supported the event that we gathered for. Another bonus is that teachers receive a slight discount on food and beverage which is yet another perk work mentioning.
The games were ok just some were broken and took our points away and the employee working at the reward shop to get prizes was rude. I have her the item I was getting and on the shelf it said 2,100 tickets but she told me it was 4,000 in a rude voice so I said the sigh read 2,100 and she rolled her eyes at me and just put it back on the shelf! How rude of her!
Best 9yr mommy-son birthday date EVER! We only stayed about 30 minutes at the end of our day and my little guy said "mommy, I just really loved hanging out with you." He didn't care how long we stayed or how much we spent... the atmosphere was so family friendly. This place is a whole vibe. Same with D&B at the Legends in KCK. The whole tribe turned up at that one for my 14 year old daughter. ??
We were seated and was told he'd bring us silverware right back, never did. We didn't have menus, etc at out table. Then, a young lady came by and asked us for drink order and gave us menus. We ordered, got our food, still no plates or silverware. My fianc? got up and went to another table and brought plates and silverware back to us so we could eat!!! We were not checked on except once during the whole time! They didn't seem very busy in the bar/eating area so. . .
Atmospheric looks better than the other D&Bs @ Legends. But bout lesser space and more packed feel. 10yr old mobile and video games turned arcade machines YUCK! DDR here sucks just mainly K-Pop(also dance floor feels smaller), Legends DDR has DDR collection 1-4 + MAX & others. The human claw machine is $20 for few inflatables, more staff here, near better system for playing, card machines and dining separation. Still packed tightly tho
I and my sisters had the best time here for my birthday today! Javian, one the staff, was very helpful and kind to us! Dave & Busters, please recognize his dilligence!
Ehhh D&b isn't what it used to be like. They don't have dine/play combos anymore. They have the classic hoop, skeetball, etc games. What disappointed me was that most of the electronic games are just reformatted Phone apps and Gamecube/wii games. We did also order nacho which were great and our drinks tasted great. Jack & coke + long Island ice tea
This was my first visit to Dave and Busters ever. I enjoyed myself; the atmosphere was pleasant; the customer service was nice as well. I didn't care for my appetizer (seafood dip) or the alcoholic beverages but it was still a nice experience. The staff were willing to change out my order but it wasn't necessary.
Went with my sisters and husband, service was slower than slow. It took almost an hour from the time we were seated to get 3 drinks, one soda, one appetizer, and 3 entrees. There were only 2 other tables sat in our area, so it wasn't busy on our side. Then it took over 45 minutes to get the check, as we watched the waitress turn her back to is several times when we tried to get her attention. Talked to the manager, and he absolutely went above and beyond, but the food was bland at best, the fish was underco
Went to Dave & Buster's to celebrate my son's birthday. We always enjoy the variety of video games and point producing games. The food is always awesome! We normal purchase threat & play deal. We all had a magnificent time. The best part is they allow you to bring your own cake!
Ok now i have a chance to sit down and write my notes from my visit. We waited by the host area. there is a sign up that says wait to be seated by an associate. we had 2 walk by us with no service a manager walked by and then sat us. I then proceeded to watch the bartender, and 3 employees take bombshots not helping any of the customers, let alone greet us or say they will be right with us. Another server joined them for a late shot and then came over to our table. mind you we have been inside for 30 min
Dave and Buster's in Overland Park provides a clean, fun environment perfect for game enthusiasts. Our visit was filled with engaging arcade games and complemented by a couple of refreshing drinks. The overall experience was enjoyable, making it a great spot for entertainment and relaxation. Definitely a good time for anyone looking to unwind. PROTIP: download the app for free tokens.
First time visiting and it was a blast! Great games and food. Prizes were actual branded items not knock off stuff
The variety and quality of the games is great. We had a lot of fun on the game floor. The food leaves a little to be desired. I guess I expected it to be Chili's quality of food. The smokehouse ribs that came with the bar sliders tasted like packaged food. The sliders were ok. My daughter did like her avocado lettuce wraps. It's a cool place and could be great. Food quality just needs improvement.
Such good food!! Always nice to come here for food and play. The games are always high quality & service is great.
Fun place to take the family. Lots of cool games and 3-D games. Also lots of basketball games.
This D&B is super clean, good food & fun games. The chimichurri bowl is my favorite; nice, colorful veggie option, good size and tasty. Definitely our favorite location to come to.
A lot of Dave and Buster's are built particularly to the area and atmosphere this one leans more to the arcade side. Has a smaller eating and bar area compared to the Ledgens location, which is more a restaurant and sports bar location.
Extremely loud. Little kids under age 5, that really should have been at Chuck E Cheese, were running around and sitting (not playing) games people were waiting to play. Parents were not with the little ones. Machines needed to be wiped down. Where are the skeeball machines?!
We had a great time for my daughter's 10th birthday! The food and the staff were awesome. Our waitress Briana was so patient and we had another person wait on us who may have been a manager and unfortunately I did not get his name but he was also amazing! Looking forward to going back!
Super fun! Buy your tickets through the app ahead of time! It's super easy and you can even use your phone as the ticket holder instead of paying $3 to activate your ticket card. They have great prizes and good food! I will be coming back!
Upsetting that we were told because their app is run by a 3rd party they are not responsible for issues. Manager would not take any responsibility for the app not reading at machines. We had to repay for credits our app had on it. We were told to just call an 800 number. It was a really disappointing experience overall.
The food was great but the service was lacking. We had issues with our card which the manager was not at all helpful in solving. The machines were not working as they should and no one could fix the issue, we were asked to wait for an engineer that never came. They kept blaming it on a third party error and asking us to call the 800 number which wasn't great. Just an all around bad experience.
Location was not clean. Men?s bathroom two sinks don't work and the remaining one is barely giving water. Same problem in the woman?s bathroom and neither bathroom had soap. Games are not working and you can't find someone to fix them. Card recharging stations are not working properly. Sad excuse for a Dave &busters. Have been going to the D&B is the east coast for years. Was so happy to find one here KS, but won't be back. Drove an hour to get here, son?s 18th birthday, 300 dollars spent and not worth the
The night we were there our server was training a new server and it took an abnormal amount of time between table visits and to get our check. As for the food we loved the wings but the protein bowl was ok and the elote cauliflower was disappointing and an odd chemically taste.
One of my favorite places to go for great food and fun times with family and friends. The games are switched out often so it mixes it up, they always have the game on for different teams playing so I don't miss out of the current baseball, basketball or football game! I do wish they had specials sometimes because it's not cheap but I enjoy it anyway lol
Food was an afterthought at best. There was no one at the host stand - a server sat us after we called him over. The table was disgusting. The server seemed a lot like we were keeping him from his duties, as if serving us isn't just that. The food was such a disappointment - over priced micro portions of box macaroni for the kids, and both of our salads were horribly drenched in dressing with half the lettuce wilted and brown. Worse yet my shrimp were over-cooked and rubbery. The only edible part of my sala
Amazing location, so pretty, the food was bomb, i had the spicy Buffalo sandwich and my partner had the bacon burger, and it was worth every dollar.
Very nice place?. Waitress was very slow with everything. We had to remind her that we was waiting on our receipt? other than that we had a blast!!!
Good experience at Dave and busters! We made it in time for happy hour (4-7) we got there at 655 lol Plenty of game options, but there were some that were out of order we notice that every time we come but didn't stop us from having fun !
Wow, I don't think that I have ever been to Dave & Busters. Please know the food isn't $3 or $4 as it was stated. Additionally, the play and eat plan is per person. ?? Nonetheless, the food was decent, the big KU game was on, so it was a nice atmosphere at the bar. There were also about 4 people in the game area. He won a cup, 2 candy rings and a mini pack of lemon heads for me.?????? Overall, nice Monday night outing with the nephew.
The bacon cheese burger with the bacon jam will not disappoint! Served with 6 slices of bacon. The best restaurant burger I've had. I highly recommend it.
Took my kids there for a company holiday party. Breakfast buffet, best part was the bacon, pancakes were chewy. But the unlimited play cards were awesome, especially with the huge 4 seat Halo game
Had my son?s graduation party there. Great service, kids had fun, delicious food. Would return. ??
Had reservations for my son birthday at 8:30 no one was at the booth to help up he stood there at the host station for 30 I called the Dave and busters I couldn't get anyone on the phone I had to go to the bar to get help after that 10 minutes later we finally got help. Our waitress was so amazing and food was good .
Just left there and all the food was cold quality has declined it used to be good
Didn't eat here, but had a great time with the family playing games. Wednesday is half off games (and apps I think) so it was affordable and fun. Probably one of the cleaner D&Bs we have been to.
Food is AMAZING!!!!! If you went to main event the food wouldn't be worth the price being that they upcharge you. But Dave and busters pasta and steak were absolutely amazing and worth every penny
(For the rhythm game community): this location has Pump it up XX on an LX cab as of December 2023. Cab is in good shape, unlocked, panels are responsive, and the handlebars are solid. The volume is a tad bit low but it is not drowned out by the other games or atmospheric sounds. On some nights however they do have a DJ here in which you are completely unable to hear the game. The bar is usually very quick and there is a table/usually some seats next to the game.
Had so much fun here. It's like being a little kid again. There were unfortunately a lot of games that were out of order and there wasn't much of a selection in the store where you redeem your points. I will have to come back and give it another shot.
Food was decent but nothing out of this world. Still had a lot of fun and would go back
Took almost 45 minutes sitting at a table for a server to serve us. We got seated right by the server station.
Awesome place and experience... whatever makes the kids happy happy happy???? ?? *Btwfyi; be prepared to $pend a few buck$... Just saying **Everyone had a blast.
Went for the food and the drinks! Was amazing! Thanks ???? for the gift card
Food was surprisingly fantastic. As always though prices for games and stuff are ridiculous. But all in all it was a great time
This was my 1st time at a D&B. I expected the atmosphere to be loud, it for sure was. All the games seemed to be in working order. Everything seemed clean. Women's restroom was clean, however the stall I used was out of toilet paper ?? and th 1st sink I went to did not work. We did eat there. The bacon smash burger....LOVED IT! After we were seated by the host, we did have to go ask if we were going to be served (it was not super busy). Right away a server was sent over to us (I don't think we were seatin
Food was meh but the servers and everyone who works here is very kind! They all deserve a raise. Great place for a first date.
A great place to let your inner child let loose! When my fiance and I got hungry we got a pretzel to share. Definitely will be coming back, everyone was accommodating and wanted you to have a great time.
It's not cheap, but it's fun. The alcohol is pretty good and the bartenders will work with you if you want to change anything a tad. They did remove the prices from the drink menu though, which kinda sucks. If you've never been, be prepared for it to be really loud! Side note: if anyone was unfortunate enough to witness me and my BFF failing terribly at dance dance revolution, I'm sorry ??
My first time at this location. We went there for my son 17th birthday and it's safe to say they had a good time. Of course me being an adult, I had to go over to the bar and I ordered a Hennessy Nirvana. It was really good. The bartender of a guy and he was very polite and accommodating. Definitely want to come back with the girls from work for our ladies day out or Ladies night Out.
We had a wonderful time with kids and grandkids here. It was a spur of the moment idea, and we had a great time.
They are racist people, they do not serve people of color or those who wait tables. They didn't want to give us a table without explanations. I live in New Jersey and every state I go to I like to eat at Daver's but they want to give me a table to eat at.
I enjoyed going to this location. The service was amazing. I do wish the drinks were stronger. I had a long Island that came up short. And 2 green tea shots that didn't deliver but did taste good. Otherwise, very nice place to eat, relax and have a little fun too.
I went to Dave&Buster's for the first time ever in my life and had a blast! Not only was the customer service great, the food was too! They have all types of games and cool things to do! There is also a Jurassic World VR experience game that was pretty awesome and crazy real... Well to me it was like a 4D movie where you feel like you are really there! If you have not been here you should go! Definitely will be returning!
More than fun and I highly recommend. We played for 6 hours and never stopped except for an ice cold root beer. I would recommend the 750 game points as it is the best buy for the money.
Foods not bad the wings are super SALTY won't order them again. Buffalo Wild Wings is much much better for wings but the other items are great. The game play is fun!! Make sure to sign up for there emails they always sending tons of coupons!!! Lots and lots of Tv's to watch games on!
Excellent service!!! All of the workers are extremely nice and helpful A lot of fun! The kids have a great time and I think the parents have an even better time.
Great for kids?? and adults if you like playing games, which probably helps relieve the parents lol
Loud and bright would be my best explanation. I'm not much for sports bars but the food is very good. Well priced wings are a great way to get me to keep coming back. Games are pricey, while even the cheapest option for power cards comes out to each chip being worth a lil under a quarter in price, each game can run you anywhere from 6-17 chips. Would definitely recommend coming Wednesdays when games are all half price. This isn't the place to host a casual conversation, even the more private areas are overw
My favorite dance game sucks, it's all battered and it's a music game that has its entire audio system in poor condition, all its speakers are broken and it stinks because one of the most expensive games should buy a new one, it's been in terrible condition for quite some time
Food was bad. Order was wrong. Server was attentive and helpful. Many games were broken without a sign so you waste your money not knowing it doesn't work. Beer selection wasn't great. I wouldn't eat here again.
We recently had a work social event at this location and has so much fun! Food and service were great, and everyone had a great time socializing and playing games after we ate!
More TVs on the wall than a Walmart electronics section! Plenty of games to play and lots of fun for adults as well. Very clean atmosphere, plus good eats. ????????
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
