Dave & Buster's Overland Park

Took the Basketball team here for dinner after winning the Championship. The kids, and parents enjoyed the atmosphere. For dinner I ordered the eat, drink, and play combo. I chose the Half Rack Smokehouse Ribs, which were very tender, and the meat was fall off the bone delicious! The service at the bar was very friendly, and professional.

This location is great! I've never gotten food at a Dave and Busters before, I got the fried chicken sandwich with fries - it was very good! There's a ton of games to choose from, we did discover a calibration issue with the buck hunt game and talked with a game tech. The issue was going to take a little bit to resolve and we had already paid for the game so the tech was super nice and set us up on Mario kart for free while we waited and let us know as soon as the buck hunt game was ready for us!

Always loud but such fun. The food was great, our server was awesome, and my kids and grandchildren had a wonderful time. I took lots of pictures and it was wonderful for multi-generational bonding.

This Dave& Buster's is in a good location. It's very large and widespread. The game's are all decently positioned. They should get a little more variety instead of a lot of repeat games. When we walked in the only thing you could smell was pot and unfortunately that's a bad thing to have in a area of games and restaurants that a lot of children are at. Go here a couple times a month. Always enjoy some good Midway games. Game tech Alex is very skilled at his trade and it shows by how well maintained the games always are. Service is a little slow but it's not really their primary thing so understandable.

Food was good and priced fairly decent. Service was okay when we could found our waitress. I guess the games are fun if you want to blow a couple hundred dollars in about 2 hours. For your $200 worth of games you will get about $7 worth of candy when you trade your tickets in. Also don't fall for the 59.99 dinner that comes with a $50 card for games because it maxes out at 1,500 tickets and nobody told me. That was a definite waste of money. We love this place! We come every year on both of our sons birthdays and sometimes just thru the year for some fun! We have tried many food items, burgers and lettuce wraps are my favorite, my oldest sons favorite is the wings. They have great drink prices for happy hour. They keep this place very clean and picked up. New games get added often and I recommend getting the app to keep track of all deals and points you aquire. At times they have a dj and that makes it a little extra exciting.

First time at this location and I love it??! We were greeted?? at the door and seated?? immediately. Our waitress was the nicest person ever??. Our food was out to the table so fast we couldn't believe it ??! The food was delicious ?? and picture perfect as usual for Dave and Buster's ??!!! Came to this location to celebrate my daughters birthday. It was just the three of us (daughter, son and myself). I purchased a pkg containing 900 points and it was more than enough for them to have a GREAT time! The atmosphere was loud and exciting enough to keep them entertained for almost 3 hours.

I just dropped by to have lunch. The food was good (I had a "plant substitute" burger and truffle fries), but not amazing. The sandwich was a little small. My server was very friendly and attentive. The loud music and sounds from the game room killed the "ambiance" for eating. After lunch, I walked through the game room and, had I had time, would have really enjoyed playing. Lots of cool games.

My first time here...they didn't let any of us know that there is an extra charge for each card. It makes a difference for a family on a budget. I thought I would pay $60 plus tax but it ended up being an extra $10. It just would have been nice to know this in advance rather than at the end of the evening when we were leaving.

The food was surprisingly good. Large menu with decent selections of bar type foods as well as veggie options and more ?elevated? bar foods. Service was good. I hate how loud it is in there but I know that's the way places like that are and it's for kids after all and my nephew has a good time. We took him there for his 6th birthday.

If you are looking for a place to spend with friends, it is an excellent place. If you want to give your kids a fun time, it is the right one, but to eat it is better that you think in another place, I am not sure if it all depends on the chef of the day, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I also saw fewer games on this visit and they did not attract attention since they are a bit old.

This location is definitely better than the one at the Legends! Great service, a little busy but not overly crowded, games are so much fun, food selection however is limited and they seem to be out of several items. Overall, good experience with my teenagers!!

I was with about 17 co workers and we had a reservation. Yet we were not properly seated initially, the the meals were brought out 20 minutes apart from each other, so some ate while others waited for theirs to arrive. Also the waiters kept bringing wrong dishes to our table that someone else had ordered.

Came here the other night with the family for dinner and some arcades. Fun atmosphere and definitely don't have to worry about the kids bothering other guests. Got the token and meal which is recommended if you planning to play. The pasta steak and shrimp dish was good.

My brother and I went here a few weeks ago for our 24th birthday , 10/10 experience. We came from out of town and had ssssoooo much fun, if I ever get the chance I'll absolutely be visiting again.

My brother held my niece's 5th birthday celebration there this past weekend and the service was amazing. Our party was a large one and we were well taken care of. The servers and management were so kind, attentive, and made sure we enjoyed our visit. The games were fun and the family time was appreciated, especially in space that supported the event that we gathered for. Another bonus is that teachers receive a slight discount on food and beverage which is yet another perk work mentioning.

The games were ok just some were broken and took our points away and the employee working at the reward shop to get prizes was rude. I have her the item I was getting and on the shelf it said 2,100 tickets but she told me it was 4,000 in a rude voice so I said the sigh read 2,100 and she rolled her eyes at me and just put it back on the shelf! Best 9yr mommy-son birthday date EVER! We only stayed about 30 minutes at the end of our day and my little guy said "mommy, I just really loved hanging out with you." We were seated and was told he'd bring us silverware right back, never did. We didn't have menus, etc at out table. Then, a young lady came by and asked us for drink order and gave us menus. Atmospheric looks better than the other D&Bs @ Legends. But bout lesser space and more packed feel. 10yr old mobile and video games turned arcade machines YUCK! DDR here sucks just mainly K-Pop(also dance floor feels smaller), Legends DDR has DDR collection 1-4 + MAX & others. Ehhh D&b isn't what it used to be like. They don't have dine/play combos anymore. They have the classic hoop, skeetball, etc games. What disappointed me was that most of the electronic games are just reformatted Phone apps and Gamecube/wii games. We did also order nacho which were great and our drinks tasted great. This was my first visit to Dave and Busters ever. I enjoyed myself; the atmosphere was pleasant; the customer service was nice as well. I didn't care for my appetizer (seafood dip) or the alcoholic beverages but it was still a nice experience. The staff were willing to change out my order but it wasn't necessary.

The variety and quality of the games is great. We had a lot of fun on the game floor. The food leaves a little to be desired. I guess I expected it to be Chili's quality of food. The smokehouse ribs that came with the bar sliders tasted like packaged food. The sliders were ok. My daughter did like her avocado lettuce wraps. It's a cool place and could be great. Food quality just needs improvement.

A lot of Dave and Buster's are built particularly to the area and atmosphere this one leans more to the arcade side. Has a smaller eating and bar area compared to the Ledgens location, which is more a restaurant and sports bar location.

Extremely loud. Little kids under age 5, that really should have been at Chuck E Cheese, were running around and sitting (not playing) games people were waiting to play. Parents were not with the little ones. Machines needed to be wiped down. Where are the skeeball machines?!

Super fun! Buy your tickets through the app ahead of time! It's super easy and you can even use your phone as the ticket holder instead of paying $3 to activate your ticket card. They have great prizes and good food! I will be coming back!

Upsetting that we were told because their app is run by a 3rd party they are not responsible for issues. Manager would not take any responsibility for the app not reading at machines. We had to repay for credits our app had on it. We were told to just call an 800 number. It was a really disappointing experience overall.

The food was great but the service was lacking. We had issues with our card which the manager was not at all helpful in solving. The machines were not working as they should and no one could fix the issue, we were asked to wait for an engineer that never came. They kept blaming it on a third party error and asking us to call the 800 number which wasn't great. Just an all around bad experience.

The night we were there our server was training a new server and it took an abnormal amount of time between table visits and to get our check. As for the food we loved the wings but the protein bowl was ok and the elote cauliflower was disappointing and an odd chemically taste.

One of my favorite places to go for great food and fun times with family and friends. The games are switched out often so it mixes it up, they always have the game on for different teams playing so I don't miss out of the current baseball, basketball or football game! The bacon cheese burger with the bacon jam will not disappoint! Served with 6 slices of bacon. The best restaurant burger I've had. I highly recommend it.

Took my kids there for a company holiday party. Breakfast buffet, best part was the bacon, pancakes were chewy. But the unlimited play cards were awesome, especially with the huge 4 seat Halo game

Had reservations for my son birthday at 8:30 no one was at the booth to help up he stood there at the host station for 30 I called the Dave and busters I couldn't get anyone on the phone I had to go to the bar to get help after that 10 minutes later we finally got help. Our waitress was so amazing and food was good .

(For the rhythm game community): this location has Pump it up XX on an LX cab as of December 2023. Cab is in good shape, unlocked, panels are responsive, and the handlebars are solid. The volume is a tad bit low but it is not drowned out by the other games or atmospheric sounds. On some nights however they do have a DJ here in which you are completely unable to hear the game. The bar is usually very quick and there is a table/usually some seats next to the game.

Had so much fun here. It's like being a little kid again. There were unfortunately a lot of games that were out of order and there wasn't much of a selection in the store where you redeem your points. I will have to come back and give it another shot.

It's not cheap, but it's fun. The alcohol is pretty good and the bartenders will work with you if you want to change anything a tad. My first time at this location. We went there for my son 17th birthday and it's safe to say they had a good time. Of course me being an adult, I had to go over to the bar and I ordered a Hennessy Nirvana. It was really good. The bartender of a guy and he was very polite and accommodating. Definitely want to come back with the girls from work for our ladies day out or Ladies night Out.

More than fun and I highly recommend. We played for 6 hours and never stopped except for an ice cold root beer. I would recommend the 750 game points as it is the best buy for the money.

Foods not bad the wings are super SALTY won't order them again. Buffalo Wild Wings is much much better for wings but the other items are great. The game play is fun!! Make sure to sign up for there emails they always sending tons of coupons!!! Lots and lots of Tv's to watch games on!

My favorite dance game sucks, it's all battered and it's a music game that has its entire audio system in poor condition, all its speakers are broken and it stinks because one of the most expensive games should buy a new one, it's been in terrible condition for quite some time

Food was bad. Order was wrong. Server was attentive and helpful. Many games were broken without a sign so you waste your money not knowing it doesn't work. Beer selection wasn't great. I wouldn't eat here again.
