Dave & Buster's Ontario

Reviews Summary

Dave & Buster's receives mixed reviews, with many praising fun atmosphere, good food (especially wings and desserts), and excellent service from standout staff like Tommy. Positive experiences highlight attentive service, clean facilities, and enjoyable game options. However, numerous complaints cite slow or absent service, incorrect orders, and poor food quality. Issues with long wait times, dirty tables, and unprofessional staff behavior are common in negative reviews. While many enjoy the venue for parties and game nights, inconsistent service and food experiences significantly impact satisfaction. Weekday deals are popular, but crowded weekends often lead to frustration.

First Timer Alert! ?????? Craving a happy hour deal, I decided to switch things up and give Dave & Buster?s a try for the first time! I ordered the Moonshine Lit (yes, it packs a punch! ??) and the guacamole with chips?super fresh and absolutely delicious! ?? Great vibes, tasty bites... not a bad way to wrap up the day! Team Smiley ??

Enjoy coming here on Monday's when they offer AYCE Traditional Wings with a $10 Game Card for $25. Also great place to watch the game and grab drinks, or just play games with family and friends.

We got there at pretty good hour, we didn't have to wait for the table, so thanks for that. The wait time for the food was around 30-35 min. I asked for Cali Caesar Salad Bowl, without bacon, my husband got wings. They brought us food but the waitress forgot to bring me a fork so I couldn't eat my bowl for another 10 min as I was waiting for her. Also they put bacon in it, and no guacamole as mentioned in the menu. The wings were no better than frozen from the store

$25 for about 45 mins of game play in the arcade for 1 person. Won 200 tickets and was only good for a Dave n busters branded rubber keychain. The arcade is so loud, it would be best to bring ear plugs for smaller children. Overall an average experience.

Definitely has gone down the drain over the years, if you want a million teens hanging out for no reason, this is your place. Service was horrid. Food was fair at best. Won't return

THIS NOW OUR KIDS' FAVORITE D&B! We've been to other D&B locations but this was our first time here. This place was pretty nice, bigger and there were a lot of games to choose from! It was very clean especially the restrooms! There were staffs sanitizing the equipments and tables, which was very good! The service was great! Tommy, the manager came to our table and greeted us. He was very friendly, attentive and informative. He also gave us tips which arcades our little girls would like and enjoy and our kid

Ashley was amazing and the manager Tommy came to our table to make sure everything was going good ! Super friendly and fun time for my friends and I.

Came in at around 9:45pm. Sat at the bar didn't seem too busy for a Thursday night. Table was dirty and hadn't been cleaned. The menus had pieces of food debris stuck within its pages. Food was good but the service was absolutely terrible. Can't remember the name of the woman that served us but than again she never gave us her name. She asked for a card to hold, not a problem. Once we got our food, we rarely saw her. I understand that the servers were going back and forth from the main area to the bar area,

Now this place is one of my favorites to hang out. The food is always incredibly tasty I feel. The deals for half of Wednesday's also cannot be ignored. The Atmosphere is fantastic. So many cheering faces and many, many seats for football watching. Service sometimes is a bit slow and... Has a low attention span, but is overall one of the best for a place like Dave & Busters. 9.7/10 Extremely high recommendation for great food and fun.

Came to dave and busters for father's day and had the best time. Staff was amazing and management Tommy was awesome made our family experience great. We will definitely be back to watch the games and enjoy some drinks.

Manny was our server he did a great job assisting us. We also got a $30 game play thank you for everything and the assistance. Please visit Dave and buster if I had a great time I know you will to

It was ok? Broken/out of order machines. Games restarting for no reason (Halo) Not too busy. Really REALLY loud.. I don't know why they were blasting a loud speaker at the entrance of the mall. They need to fix their machines and turn down the sounds a bit because I can't keep going back for fear of hearing damage. I know to expect sensory nightmare at an arcade but I don't remember even the busiest arcades being this loud in the early 2000?s. I did not eat there so I can't rate their food. Employees were

A really great experience! Had a fun time with my family here. Tommy had excellent service and helped with any questions I had. Food was great, love being able to eat and enjoy the environment around. With the sports being played helps with all ages

I ordered the Crispy Business everything was good except the fried pickles ?? they tasted like fish and so they were left uneaten. But other than that everything was delish.

It was our first time at this location. Overall it was a good experience. Their food quality and games were better than the Orange location. We ended up having a issue with my sons our playing card but Tommy the floor manager helped us out. We'll definitely come back to this location.

If you like getting harassed by managers after spending your hard earned money here on drinks by all means come. The managers Julie and Christy are extremely rude and they targeted me as soon as I walked in the building. I was asking their employees questions and they accused me of ?distracting? them. Which is funny because I spent over $60 to ?distract? them and play games. I was vibing with the DJ after their little comment and they kicked me out because apparently I wasn't supposed to be in a certain ar

If I could give 0 stars I would! Not how we planned on celebrating our daughter's birthday. I got to D&B, spent $130 on tokens while we waited to be called for a table. After an hour, we got our table. We waited 45 minutes and then left! Not one person came to take our order or even ask for drinks. Ridiculous! I understand that they were packed so I had no problem waiting for a table, even though there were plenty of empty tables. To have to wait to order food that long was not cool. We didn't even know who

Had a great time at D&Bs, still a proper fun for all ages environment with great games and staff. Didn't think much of the food, but I'm here for the beer and games, so 3 stars is more than fair. Definitely visit again.

One of my favorite places to take the kids. Wednesday is best day for half off games. Good quality food as well

I booked a birthday party, prepared to spend a good amount of money for about 20-30 people. I arrived a little early, and asked if I can put the cake in the fridge as it was a hot day. I was told no, they do not allow use of their fridge. I understand if it was another item, but cake for a birthday party?? They should inform people before hand, to be able to plan accordingly.

Overall experience was trash. Started with the incompetent host with the dry afro and cheesy teeth. Passive, holding personal conversations with others while I was talking to her. Seriously lacked people skills. The food was lousy. We spent close to $250 on food, games and drinks and it was not worth it. Don't visit, it's ran down and the customer service sucks!

If I can give a zero I would the server took to.long to attend our table.i had to go find someone to seve my table when the man came to serve he took our order and disappeared to the back and 2 other men from the back brought our food out the server never returned until.it was time to pay the bill and the server forgot about my drink I had to wait until.my food was almost gone before getting my drink after waiting to find the server he said oh ya ill go get it and has the audacity to add a tip for what I

Friendly staff, good games, very clean, but like LA downtown, whilst the games were not banged up, the light gun games were out of calibration and some simply didn't work. As a tourist from Australia, it's only been a so so experience. Next stop outlets at Orange!

Manny was server, he was great! It's loud there but fun! Enjoyed all the TVs to watch the game! Kids had fun and didn't break the bank with 1/2 price games. Food was delish.

The only reason I am not giving one star is that I really love coming to this place and would not want to discourage someone else from enjoying it completely. Unfortunately, they are severely understaffed and unable to keep up with the maintenance on either the games themselves or the food and beverage aspect. I probably experienced 5 to 10 game malfunctions within an hour and a half. Previously, when I was there on a weekday, this did not happen at all. They need to fix their weekend staffing and improve t

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Tommy, the Area Operations Manager at Dave & Buster?s in Ontario. From the moment you walk in, it's clear that this location runs with energy, precision, and a strong sense of leadership?and that starts at the top with Tommy. Tommy is not only a great asset to the company, but also a genuinely people-oriented leader. He has a natural ability to connect with both guests and staff, creating an atmosphere that feels fun, welcoming, and well-managed. His presence is felt

Everything from service to atmosphere was great. The only complaint was the amount of celery and no carrots that came with the wings meal. Definitely lacked the vegetables. The celery was warm, as well.

We had a party of 8 and became party of 25 was able to fit us as much together since last min . very helpful n nice just didn't like when closing they kick us out we were just talking sitting while our kids where playing in the games n older adults in the bar . They wanted to clean up the space. But closing wasn't till 4 hrs later over all ok

I have been to Dave and Busters years ago but have never eaten there......went there Thanksgiving day with my daughter and her mother to pack our necks........I had a burger......cant remember which one but there wasnt really anything special about it.......also ordered some french fries with meat.......I was expecting a larger portion but they were ok.......again, nothing special........my daugher had the pasta and chicken said it was good.......her mother had the chicken strips which she said was ok....

I wish I could give you 0 stars, but the lowest is 1, and I think it's too much for you. The service is horrible, horrible. The food is nasty and cold. Everything is so dirty. All the employees look like they are starving and with the worst facial expressions. I have no words to describe the horrible experience I had here. My family and I are extremely disappointed. Management needs to work on improving the overall experience for the guests. They need a system that works because the one they have it's

Manager Tommy came over to check on me and my family yesterday. He was very professional and made our experience at D&B more personable. We will definitely come back. Thanks for getting great service . Love the love music nights.

Pretty disappointing experience at this Dave & Buster?s. The place smelled weird and felt dirty?my shoes were literally sticking to the floor (gross). Most of the games were either broken or totally rigged (like more than normal), making it nearly impossible to win any tickets. Definitely not worth the money or the time. Wouldn't recommend.

The best tasting tamales in East LA, and there not cheap with the meat, sometimes long lines, but we'll worth the wait

The place is going through renovations so I don't want to judge too hard. For being in a mall, I feel the games were in excellent shape. Bar service was slow, but I was there around 1pm on a Tuesday so, I understand.

Dave and Buster?s has changed since the last time I had been there all good changes?. We had lunch there and I'm not going to say that the service was great and the food was awesome because that's not true. The service was OK. Our orders didn't come out all together so my daughter watched us eat and we were more than halfway done by the time she got her order, which I don't appreciate that at all especially when you go out with your family to eat together?. After we had lunch we hit the games. Most of the g

I had a terrible experience here terrible service didn't even waste my time complaining in person. I was here on a monday. I feel bad calling my server out by name but he was awful not meant to be a server. Food was awful came out wrong twice didn't even bother sending it back, drinks weren't what we asked for, no napkins, no utensils. We were here for 2 hours when our food finally came out big waste of time and money.

Had a wonderful time here recently with a group of friends. Fantastic service. The staff and atmosphere were on point. Tommy was an absolute pleasure and made us feel welcome the entire time we stayed. Definitely coming back soon!

Come to celebrate my lil nephews birthday. Many was our server and was very attentive, excellent service.

5 Stars ? Outstanding Service from Tommy! Tommy went above and beyond to make my sister?s birthday celebration unforgettable. As the Area Operations Manager, his professionalism and kindness stood out from the moment we walked in. He treated us with the utmost respect, made sure everything ran smoothly, and truly made us feel like VIPs. You can tell he cares deeply about guest experience. Thanks to Tommy, this birthday will be one we talk about for a long time. Give that man a raise!

Haven't been for a while and mixed about the experience was very expensive for what we got. Hard to enjoy yourself when you have to pay $50 for one Appetizer and $35 to play and wait longer for the food than the games lasted. $35 for 10 mins of games for two is not easy. Probably won't do it again soon.

Love you can be a kid again as an adult. There are different rooms to watch sports & fights, and the arcade is big, lots of games to choose from. If you like playing pool, they have plenty of those too. Have fun!! ????

Tommy Moua was a great service to us he gave my brother a card out of his own money. people don't really do that. Tommy is an exceptional person. He works hard. He's on time. The food was hot. It was ready. Give Tommy a raise

Too expensive but happy hour deals are good

I loved Alayna?s vibrant vibe she radiated around. It made me feel comfortable to talk to her and when I needed her she was there! I love to see Alayna coming in, every time I am greeted with a smile. I love it here

I haven't been to Dave and Busters in a long time. And when the boss decided to take us there for dinner. I got excited. Boy, was i let down. First, let's talk about the food. The quality and taste have dropped significantly. I have had military rations with more flavor. And the wings were overcooked and like runner. Even the salad had no flavor. Now the service.... we had a waiter that it didn't feel like he could handle more than two people at a time. The way it worked was he came and he started with dri

We had a large group of 15 people. We didn't have a reservation but they seated us quickly. All of the staff were amazing. I would highly recommend them for groups especially for a party that has kids, sports enthusiasts, and more.

Great place, they are super helpful. I had a game glitch & they were able to give me my tickets I won. Also at the food tables the manager Tommy was very nice & friendly, great customer service

I am writing to formally express my disappointment and frustration regarding my visit to Dave & Buster?s in Ontario, California, on 3/26/25. I arrived at around 11:30 AM with my five nieces and nephews and initially purchased $156 worth of tokens plus a $5 tip at the front for a total of $161. While my family enjoyed the arcade, I went to the bar area to order food for everyone. Unfortunately, I waited several minutes before being acknowledged by any member of your staff. Once a waiter did approach me (aro

The quality of the food and service has consistently been a reason for my return. However, I must express my disappointment with the service during my recent visit. It seemed that our waitress took an extended period to take our order, and there was a significant delay in receiving our food. Additionally, it took a while for her to check in with us to see if we needed anything else. While I understand that she was attending to cleaning another area, I believe that prioritizing customer service should be fir

We have been coming since they opened, mainly my kids used to love this place, now I bring my grandsons but little by little, the place is becoming worse, in all departments. More expensive, food is not as good, the service has declined and yesterday in an almost empty place, the server managed to provide the worst experience in 25 years. She was very cold to respond, didn't seem to like her job, we ordered and 20 minutes later asked her to check on our order and told her if it was going to be much longer,

The food is terrible. We had nothing good about our food, then they tried to tack on a mandatory tip because our party was 10 people. One of them was a 2 month old baby who obviously didn't eat, didn't take up a seat and didn't order food, four others were children ranging in age from 1 to 6 years old. Now, I get it, party size determines how hard the server has to work so it's customary to have a mandatory tip... this was a 20% tip and the service and food were terrible! They forgot food, brought the wrong

Been coming here for a very long time. Place is great always coming out with new things off their menus and as well as the entire restaurant. Every time my family and I come to eat, drink or play here we always are well taken care of and never seem to have any issues. We were taken care of from Gracie she's awesome u gotta find her and have her take care of u when you eat.We always had excellent customer service and treated as if we are like a family. So for my review keep up the good work. And dont stop t

It's always a fun place to hang out with friends and family. Great selection of beers. Delicious food. Love their DJs on weekends.

I cannot believe how freaking TERRIBLE my experience was. This bartender was probably the worst been served by in my life. It took her a while to even acknowledge us with an EMPTY bar. Idk if she was on drugs (which is appeared as much) but she was constantly rolling her eyes had the ugliest freaking attitude ever and was just fidgeting and smacking her lips left and right every time we asked for anything. Never checked on our food order until we brought it up after waiting for thirty minutes. She told us o

Great service! The place is under remodel and the food came out cold but with decent flavor. Drinks were nice and strong. Our server was great though.

Love taking my nieces and nephew to this place when I visit. However, when I told a service employee about some down machines, he called it in, but no one came to fix them in the 3 hours we were there.

Tommy was very friendly and caring. He made sure to answer all of our questions and took exceptional care of us! He made this experience great and will definitely come back!

As of April 2025, there is some construction going on, so the parking lot entrance looks like a hard hat area. Other than that, the place is as usual. Games, food, and enjoyable over all atmosphere.

Besides Steven and other African lady at the front desk, management specifically and everyone else sucks. No communication when you're at the pool tables and when you ask someone (sever) they give you attitude about ordering. I'm giving it 5 starts because of Steven and that other lady if not I would give it 1 maybe 2 stars. I know they are remodeling the "center" bar but attend to your guest.

The whole family enjoyed our time here. Very clean, fun, and great food. The staff is very professional and provides great services. Definitely will come back ??

Excellent drinks ?? food, and entertainment!

The servers and the manager were just amazing. We came to celebrate a graduation and they went above and beyond! We also come on sundays for happy hour and the service is always amazing

Yes, we had a great time! Dave and Buster's is like Vegas for kids and even for adults if you want bad food and cocktails. Great selection of games. It was clean and well maintained. Fun location... very busy on a Friday mid afternoon but then it is the beginning of summer. Catch them on off-peak hours for a better time otherwise still worth it.

Not too bad, it was a little busy but not many full tables. I know Its probably because not enough staff. Overall its not a bad establishment. The menu drastically changed from when i remembered it compared to Hawaii but it's probably where it is located. Food was decent and tasted pretty good. I would recommend this to those that enjoy finger foods and those who watch sports events and letting their kids play all the games they offer.

Our order contained several inaccuracies, and the food was excessively greasy and lacked flavor. The meal service was staggered, with dishes arriving at different times. My daughter's meal was returned due to burning. The overall quality of the food was unsatisfactory, although the service was exemplary. The staff rectified the situation, repeatedly checked on our table, and offered profuse apologies. Two of our five meals were complimentary. While our server provided outstanding service, the substand

Wow this place sucks now. I went in with a friend the other night & waited 30-40 mins to be served while all the other tables around us were getting their orders in just fine. During that time I flagged down a nearby waitress to put in drink orders and I thought she did it but nothing ever came. And then when another server came to assist I asked for the manager, he went up to speak to some guy across the room who I'm assuming was the manager (he was dressed professionally and had name in tag on) but the gu

Great dinning experience they have great food and a welcoming atmosphere. Very child friendly and the service was wonderful. The manager Julie went above and beyond to make sure everything was great and that we had a good dining experience. Our server Nikki was very knowledge and helpful. The drink runner also made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back. Great food and service!

This place needs to calibrate their games half the screens are faded and not working the ball games. Don't even have enough balls to consistently play the game. Someone pick pocketed me there. There were kids throwing a foot ball in the arcade over me as I played. Very messy trash everywhere. Bartenders were nice. They have tiny steps on multiple games which is high risk for falling.

One of the absolute worst experiences I have ever had. I reserved a table, waited 45 minutes with 7 teenagers to get our table. We were finally seated. 2 tables of 7 + were seated after us, they received food even before we saw our server. We waited another 25 minutes I went to the front counter and let them know that no one has even come to our table. The server they sent over was great, not her fault. The time it took to receive 3 boneless chicken dishes and 1 chicken sandwich was horrible. One of the bon

The service we received was absolutely horrendous! The woman at the bar had a horrible attitude, when we reminded her about a drink we had not received. She clapped her hands at us, and said that she had other customers. When seated at our table, all our orders were served at separate times, we even had to cancel some items due to how long it took. One item in particular was given to our table, we hadn't ordered it, we let them know but they just left it there. They eventually figured it out, picked it up,

Took my kids here on Wednesday, we planned to dine there and then play games. We got seated quickly, our waiter-never offered refills, on our drinks. The food was not worth the price, the only good part was the cheesecake with s'more on top. When we went to play games we didn't know you needed a physical card to play. But when I went up to the front desk the associate there was very helpful, and gave me cards to attach to the ones on my app. My husband and I decided to have a beverage at the bar in the game

Horrible experience waited 15 minutes to finally get service once she approached the table she seemed like she was having a bad day so I just placed the order for our meals but 45 minutes to get a plate of ribs was not even worth it. We were not even half ways through our dinner when a fight erupted having two grown man fighting next to our table my boys got pushed against the table we were eating I screamed to them to runaway. Next thing you know glass of bottles were flying in the air. Horrible experience

Excellent food, good service but it was really crowded and you need to wait ? about 40 minutes. The good news is that the restaurant has a distance betweentables but the games area is crazy crowded. You can play the ?? games or go shopping for a while, the staff will send you text when you're table is ready!

Do not waste a dime on this place. Maybe the drinks are good. For kids to have fun I went to Chuckie cheese and had more play time than here spent 230$ for the card to stop working after 3 games and another card didn't work at all. They would not refund me. My kids where so disappointed that I suggested going to Chuckie cheese. We went there spent 160 and played for 3 1/2 hours even had 2 pizzas 4 drinks. Trust me don't go here.

Very busy night. But our service was still very good. Holiday shopping but chase and Tommy the manager checked on us all during our stay.

My daughter's favorite place to go. Went recently for her birthday and she had a great time. The manager Tommy went out of his way to make it special. ??

Food was good but service wasn't so great. We went on a Monday nowhere near as busy as weekends. But the worst part is the game points they have available HORRIBLE OFFERS!

Johnny & Tommy were the managers on the floor & they visited our table and made sure we had everything we needed. Aaron was a very attentive bartender.

The food there is soooo good! It's a great date spot, get together place, fun for families. The arcade is pretty big and it's not too expensive for enough tokens to waste some time having fun. They have a vr ride/game that's really fun too, only 6$ a person, about 10-15 minute game.

I never expected the TOP OF THE LINE service we received. We went as a large group with little to no notice and management was able to accommodate us... giving us a nice large table away from others. The waitress,God Bless Her, single handedly took all our orders (22+adults) with a smile, patience, and 100% accuracy!!! The food was cooked to perfection.. never in my life did I think I could get parmesan chicken on pasta with brucchetta and garlic parmesan truffle fries at Dave and Busters!!! The food was

The service was absolutely terrible! The waitress who served us was rude and indignant. When we explained that she would have gotten a better tip if she simply hadn't ignored us and bought items to us that we requested. She was very nonchalant about the service we received.

Spent a Wednesday with my 9 year old grandson for his b-day. Had the Chicken club, grandson had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwhich, and we shared the churros and chocolate cake. The churros were so fresh the filling almost burned my mouth and the chocolate cake was ridiculously good. The sandwiches were made with awesome buns.

Love it, the staff really goes out of their way to make us feel taken care of. Tommy was especially helpful when we had a big group, will be coming back soon!

It had been a while since I had last visited and was surprised to see that the menu had changed with less food options. They didn't have all the items available though the restaurant part of the facility had just opened. I was with co-workers for a work event; the service was slow even though we were the only ones eating. The meals were brought out in segments with 10-20 minutes between each set brought to the table. So many of us were almost done eating before others had even received their meals. Thi

Went on a Wednesday and totally expected it to be dead! Nope! There were plenty of people and kids. Interesting. Fun. Food service could've been better, but overall, it was a good experience.

Food is hit or miss some times but today's trip it was just right. If you're in the arcade expect to order food from the bar during the weekday. We love coming here on Wednesdays for their half off deals on arcade.

I usually enjoy coming to Dave & Buster?s Ontario, but this experience was beyond disappointing. One of my kids simply took a fry, and the waitress came toward us as if we had done something wrong. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she was rude and confrontational, making us feel completely unwelcome. To make things worse, when we addressed the issue with Andre Moore, the Assistant General Manager, instead of resolving the problem or offering a solution, he defended the bad service in a dis

Food is a little overpriced ngl. The vibes are pretty nice on a good day. A Lil overpopulated on the weekends. Has a bar and big tvs to watch games restaurant area is pretty big.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?
