Customer Reviews

This business as updated in a great way since we came years back. It is more friendly, great food options that actually look like the menu pictures, warm welcoming place and not to mention more game options to choose from. My family and I really like enjoyed our time here.

Came to eat & drink but not play lol! After a stressful arrival to the city we decided to grab a bite at D&B! The waitress was amazing! Drinks were on point and the food was delicious! Definitely try the pot stickers if you love spicy food like me!

Came here after visiting the location in Lafayette during my trip to Gulfport from Atlanta. Very good location for being in Downtown New Orleans. Although the Pac-Man's Arcade Party machine coin slot was jammed so I wasn't able to play that, pretty sad. But other than that, I had a very fun time!

It was amazing! My first time there and the people treated me and my cousin like we were family. Our food was amazing, the games were top tier, the employees were wonderful and had pleasant conversation. Much love to Ms. V and the bartenders for giving us such a wonderful experience. The Supervisor was very cool and deserve whatever goodness the company offers. Overall, everyone that works there deserves all the goodness for providing what felt like a once in a lifetime experience. We will be back here agai

Very cool place great food and good values! Had the spicy smash burger. It's great. Lot?s of tvs and it's an arcade

Started really slow when no one was at desk when we arrived and had just seated ourselves after 15 minutes and other employees said someone would assist us. Luckily bartender was very personable and quick to get drinks and take food orders. Food was fairly good and a better price than most places around area. Games and cards fall in line with a typical D&B

We had purposely been holding out for a Wednesday to go for the half off deal. We went today, on a Wednesday, not a holiday or holiday week, and the woman at the register said it wasn't available. So we ended up paying full price, which was disappointing. We specifically drove the 30 minutes to get a discounted rate. On top of that, a good bit of games weren't playable and the bathroom took over an hour to be cleaned. Didn't seem like there was much staff working. After standing at the front counter for a f

We had a great time! The food was good and the games were fun, is what my son said when we left. A few games need to be kept up a little better, but other than that it was fun.

I used to love coming here, I'd go almost every other week since 2021. But the customer service has really drastically gone down so I haven't been back ever since. To begin with, the young woman working the prize section that day attitude was not welcoming. Isn't this supposed to be a cheerful environment? Mean mugging, no greeting, and no ?thank you? wasn't so welcoming. Second, to really top off the night and my reason for never returning was the restaurant service. Oh was really horrible, below the bare

Visiting NOLA for the weekend and me and babe decided to have a quick outing. Not too crowded. We were there around 130p on a Saturday. We played a few games that worked perfectly. We decided to eat as well. We sat at the bar and was waited on by a great bartender Ms Big Baby Bartender (love her name??). She was great! Very attentive and accommodating. We will be back soon to visit just because of her.

I've been a fan of Dave and Buster's for years, especially for their delicious salmon and steak. However, my recent visit was quite disappointing. I was informed about an 18% gratuity for large groups, but I ended up being charged 20%. We waited over an hour for our meals, only to find that three of the steak meals burned, leading me to cancel two of them. While the manager did comp the meals due to the wait, I encountered issues when checking out. I requested an itemized receipt, but the waitress was unhe

Food was not very good. We ordered the ribs on the eat and play combo. Sauce was off. Only thing we really are was the fries. Half the games were broken or missing balls or coins. The attendance didn't know anything or are too busy chatting amongst themselves. Enjoyed the games we did play. Wish they were actually working right though. Disappointed.

So fun. Came to play so didn't try and food or drinks. Had a groupon deal for discounted chips. The games were very fun. There's even a VR headset game. Will be visiting again for the games.

Took my Godson here. We had fun playing games. Some games didn't work and I lost money on them. I did get refunded for one. It wasn't crowded, so was great. No waits on any games. We had lunch. Food was okay. Bloody Mary was spicy. Didn't enjoy too much but drank it. They did have the Saints game on.

I will NEVER book another birthday party at Dave & Buster?s after the awful experience we had. The customer service was absolutely terrible. Our party was reserved from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, but at 4:20 PM, the staff was already hovering behind us, clearly waiting for us to leave. The entire party section was empty, and there were plenty of available tables, yet we were told that if we wanted to stay for just one more hour, we'd have to pay an extra $75. I ended up tipping $45 to stay till 5 pm, but guess wha

Shrimp pasta was very good and was on point on flavor. It's kind of nice being able to load credits on game cards, order food, etc. all at the bar. The only issue is paying for parking. Should have a comp for parking when dining or paying for something at DnB. It's not too pricey for parking but still sucks needing to pay extra just to park. Thanks guys ??

We had a great time enjoying the city celebrity daughter?s 15th bday. Hostess was great and our waitress Ari was Awesome! Security definitely made us feel comfortable and safe

First impression: Dirty. The seats were dirty with food particles not wiped off and a dirty place setting. Unfriendly hostess staff but the server was nice and the service was good. The food was fairly good but I only got an appetizer and a good cocktail. Lots of seating and screens to watch games on. Good for game days. No review regarding their arcade games.

I had an amazing experience at Dave & Buster?s, thanks to the incredible management team?Devin and Matt?the super fun trivia night, and our fantastic server, Summer! From the moment I walked in, Devin and Matt ensured everything was running smoothly. Their professionalism, friendliness, and dedication to customer service really stood out. Trivia was an absolute blast?well-organized, engaging, and full of great energy! The host kept things exciting, and the questions were the perfect mix of fun and challeng

My wife and I came here on our vacation. Server didn't get to us for our drinks for 10min - she finally got around to getting our order but then forgot our drinks. The floor is nasty and sticky. My wife and I after seeing the service that we were getting decided to stand up, and leave. This place needs help when it comes to service. If they forgot our drinks after 15min of sitting - I am for sure our food would have taken much longer.

The food was good. Good environment. My only thing is the staff ....The kids were all excited because of the arcade my son had left his sweater on the table ... we completely forgot about it because of the arcade. When we were on our way to the parking lot, I realized about the Saint Sweater he left on the table I went to the lost and found, front desk No one had seen my sons sweater... I finally found our waitress... she was a little busy I had to wait around 10- 15 minutes before she helped me out ... I h

It's dirty, grody, not regularly cleaned at all. Parking is not validated and is expensive. The food is passable if you wait forever for it. Good luck getting a drink. 4 bartenders, and nobody looks at you. The pool tables are in disrepair, and it takes a manager to get the game u want on a TV. The game is half over by the time they get it together.

Dave and Buster's is a vibrant wonderland where the thrill of flashing arcade games meets the camaraderie of lively dining. As you step inside, you're enveloped by a symphony of cheerful beeps and laughter. The tantalizing aroma of mouthwatering burgers and sizzling wings beckons you to indulge. Perfect for friends, families, or solo adventurers, this electrifying atmosphere promises an unforgettable experience where fun and excitement are always on the menu.

Disappointing Experience at Dave & Buster?s We booked Dave & Buster?s for our son?s birthday, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The service was terrible?staff were careless and unprofessional. It was overpriced for what you actually get, and it definitely didn't live up to expectations. We had issues similar to those mentioned in other reviews?staff was inattentive, and there was a lack of organization. The birthday package offers only 2 hours, but from the very first hour, they started r

Our server started off slow. We then realized she was over worked. Taking care of an entire section on her own. During college football, on a Saturday. We waited a solid half hour for our food. 2 orders of chicken tenders and a grilled steak salad. Chicken was cold, dried out, breading mushy, yet the blue cheese with it was boiling hot, as though it sat under the warmer in the kitchen for a long period of time. The grilled steak salad was mushy as though it sat in the fridge all day, the steak was cold and

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Upon walking out the elevator was greeted by one of the rudest worker ever, she did not want to deal with us whatsoever, immediately pointed us to the kiosk with no explanation at all. The playing experience was not enjoyable most of the machines were broken and the machines that were working were not fun. The machine selection was lacking and disappointing. There was one machine that gave extra tickets had one group of people hogging it the whole time and another machine that was u

I found the newer Dave & Buster's location to be adequate. The food was enjoyable, but the service was unfortunately poor. The establishment was smaller than anticipated, and some of the games were malfunctioning, requiring us to request assistance on several occasions. The prize redemption rate was favorable, considering the amount spent. However, we likely will not return.

Lots of fun, good food and great prices! We took our 10 and 7 year old here for fun on our vacation and we had a blast. On top of that, the food was good and they offer gluten free and vegan options. I had the bowl and it was top notch fresh veggies. I added salmon and it was sooo good.

I'm only giving 4 stars because the service was awesome!! Ms. Viola was so sweet and kind and we very much enjoyed visiting with her! I wasn't feeling well so she made me a hot toddy it was perfect! However I was so so disappointed in the food! I ordered the steak protein bowl and they sent it out to me without the guacamole, cilantro, cheese and the mayo sauce. Our server went back and tried to get me those items but they said they didn't have the cilantro and didn't want to make or get the other things

Getting Started: The service here is horrible. Staff could use some training on customer service skills, hospitality, and just plain old friendliness. When we exited the elevator there was no one at the front desk for at least 15 minutes or more. Finally after looking around, I noticed a kiosk that we could use to self serve. The kiosk is nice if you are already familiar with the way things work, not so much for first timers who may have questions. A front desk worker and what appeared to be a manager event

Fun night out with the grandkid and we received raw wings and wanted us to pay for it while they decided to take off the drinks. To be fair, we were on the last wing and it was bloody raw. The manager thoughts, you ate them you pay. My thoughts being a Food and Beverage Manager, you can't cook wings you shouldn't be in the kitchen and the manager obviously shouldn't be managing if she don't know the rule of dumb on receiving raw chicken.

Not only do my kids love this place but so do I. The food is great and they have a great variety of games. Service is hit or miss but the food makes up for it! I went right before the COVID shut down and just received an email that they are back open... can't wait to go back First time back since covid and it was a little Crazy and disorganized. The wait for a table was about a 2 hour wait and once we were seated you order from your phone, it took forever to get drinks. Our appetizers came out and still no

The staff was not that attentive as I feel they should have been myself and my family along with other customers waited a long time before someone approached us. However, there was this one lady that was cleaning the tables, she tried to accommodate everyone. The food was OK. It wasn't what I expected. The drinks are ??I should say but the games made up for everything else.

Tuesday I took my kids here. It was after little bit after one p.m. There was one server. She was upset because she was alone, she had the nastiest attitude and I asked Mr. Thor to get me a manager and another server. Upon speaking to a Ms. Thelma, she had a Mr. Ferrin take my order. Meanwhile, the server is yelling things , trying to provoke me. Stalking ferrin and asking him everything about my table, the table she couldn't serve and slammed drinks down in front of kids, and proceeded to do a bunch of dis

Place is nice, clean and super fun. The food was excellent and the beer selection was fantastic. Great place to go before the saints game or during a night out. Just two things more would make it 5 star - it always seems like the staff doesn't have a clear game plan, there are people just running about sometimes; and second, they have elevator trouble when they open before regular hours for events. We had to wait 20 minutes for a staff member with an elevator pass to come let us in on game day. Edit 11/7 -

The service and food are always great! This time, the hamburger sliders were somewhat overcooked, and the food was a little late coming out. Nonetheless, the manager took care of the issue, and everything else went along as planned.

Great place to wear ur kids out but service absolutely sucks. We been multiple times & Everytime we go there is never host & not enough employees staffed. Service takes forever to even get taken care of. Waitress still expecting a fat tip but give horrible service. As a waitress I was highly disappointed.

The wait staff is extremely slow with service. I think the manager/host really tries to go the extra mile. He was running around doing the most so much that he was sweating profusely. Too bad his staff doesn't feel the same way. Food is pricey but you get a decent portion. A huge variety of games and every once and a while the machine will charge your gamecard but the game won't register that you paid. I do like that they have decent prizes to trade your tickets in for.

Visiting New Orleans for Mardi Gras and after the parade me and my family noticed that they were open so we went it for food, when we went in looking for a table to sit no one was there to greet so, we saw a waitress and asked if we can sit and she goes,? yeah but you need your parents?, I'm like we are adults I know we're short and look young but damn anyways. We sit, go to the restroom and we're trying to charge our phones so, we sit at the bar and we're literally getting yelled at ?if you want to sit at

Beast burger, chicken avocado sandwich and wings. Thomas gave us a great friendly customer service and backed it up with amazing food. Walked in at lunchtime and was seated in a timely manner, ordered drinks and food shortly after. Our drinks were refilled and food was out next. Actually lunch was so fast we were able to walk around a play games before leaving.

So much fun!!! I apologize in advance for not taking more food pics!!! We celebrated my son's 21st birthday here and it was a blast!! We started with appetizers: Garlic Truffle Fries and Pretzel Dogs. These were so good. The fries were consumed with gusto!! And the pretzel dogs were fresh and yummy...you can tell they were NOT frozen!! After appetizers the kids took off for the games! While us old folks sat back and enjoyed our time. Later we ordered dinner and drinks!! Our server Amber was awesome!!! She

The restaurant was nice and clean. We ordered the chicken strips and the wings. We ordered the food around 8:08 and didn't get out food until 8:40. The fries were very salty and we ordered extra fries, told the waitress about it and still didn't get our extra order(paid extra). You have to scan the barcode and order online. We ordered a beer and the strawberry watermelon frose and didn't get our order for 40 minutes. I changed my drink so we could get our order soon. Whenever we got the beer it had small gl

Great concept, great games, good food but unfriendly staff. With this being our first time here we had no clue how or what to purchase. After waiting in a long line we were rudely told we were in the wrong line to purchase the food package. Workers just seemed bothered that we were there and were more concerned with cutting up with fellow coworkers. Another issue was the cleanliness of this place. Bathrooms were rough. Piss all over the seats and floor and no paper towels. Hoping we just caught this place o

We had the best service by Big Baby Bartender! Her signature cocktails were delicious! The meals were fairly priced and savory, we did not play on the floor, but will definitely return for the restaurant

pretty bad experience. I ordered food that when I tracked said it was ready but the girl up front (Morgan) insisted that she has nothing up front and I would have to just wait, no one checked in the back with the restaurant for my food. When I first came in they couldn't get the groupon to scan for some reason the girl(Morgan)had to call the manager which took a while and the manager simply scan the barcodes and handed me my cards. Also the young lady told me that they do not validate, I live in New Orleans

Took my step daughter. We had soo much fun. The games were fun. A very kid friendly place

Food was great. Lots of games. Convenient location, walking distance to many New Orleans attractions. Service was subpar, but we have been there on other days that were terrific.

I went here with my friend for lunch. I can say it was fast , easy and convient. My waiter Shannon was amazing! He was very attentive and he made sure he checked up on us frequently . The food was fresh and good. I will come back for lunch. I had flat bread pizza with a stout burger!

This area has needed a family entertainment place like this for a long time! Lots of great games and fun to be had. I can see this place being a regular stop before Saints games! The food was pretty good even though it took a long time to get a table and even longer for the food to come out. There are obviously better places to get food in NOLA but it was pretty good stuff. My only complaint is that the food took so long to come out that I ended up spending 4 hours and 1 minute there. That extra minute is

Every American has heard of Dave and Busters if you've ever looked into an arcade. The closest one to me is in New Orleans so even though it's only 35 min away for me I have stayed away till today. Parking here's a little maddening as can be expected anywhere in New Orleans area. Expect to pay 10$+ to park. The arcade is on the 6th floor but the elevators only go up to it on the 5th floor or at least the ones I parked by didn't go up to 6th. Large arcade with several party rooms. I think the D&B experienc

Honestly, the service here is pretty atrocious I must admit. But who really goes for the service? I will say I did love the bartender yesterday, her name is Elise, she's pretty new but her personality is A+. Other than that you'll just have to deal with it because they have a really good happy hour and admittedly the games were more fun than I thought they'd be. I don't generally care to be around children we went during the week around 3:30 to 7:30 and it wasn't that bad! Good deals!

Last month on 2/7 we came here for a quick bite around 6pm. My wife and I only had 30mins to spare. So we asked the hostess if there was a seat available and if we ordered quickly would the food be quick. She said no problem. Our server, Arielle was awesome! Got our drink orders and recommended the "Pretzel Dogs". So we ordered those and the "Barbacoa Fries". Our food came out superfast and hot! The Pretzel Dogs were excellent! The Barbacoa fries were great too! We were in and out in under 20mins! Props to

Our family came together for a good time, and the game was supposed to be the highlight. But Dave & Buster?s in New Orleans (store #106) turned it into something unforgettable! Huge thanks to the DJ, managers, and waitstaff for making it a party to remember. We faced a challenge trying to get game tickets all together, so we decided to head to Dave & Buster?s to watch the game. And wow, they didn't disappoint! The DJ played all my favorite songs, danced with us, and even taught us a few moves. It felt like

Kids enjoyed the time here, my cauliflower side was lacking a sauce and was chewy and bendy. The cheese sticks were good though.

I have never had a bad experience at Dave and Buster's, but this time was horrible! The menu was limited, they took forver to acknowledge us at the table and the food that was on the menu, I ordered, was dry and not taste. The food available was written on a piece of paper. Horrible, horrible day at Dave and Buster's. I was upstairs that they even gave me a menu if you know more than half the items weren't available!

Allowed money to get the best of them??. I made a reservation for Super Bowl Sunday and after receiving my reservation confirmation was emailed 3 day later with a cancelation. Upon calling to see why, I was told that a company paid them to rent out the entire building on this day. What a way to step on the smaller guy. Im Never Ever Ever going here again. It's apparent they are all about who has the most money. SMDH

Me and my family decided to come to this location during our visit to New Orleans. Very bad experience. The poor cashier was trying to take care of everything by himself. This place needs to hire more staff.

If you come just avoid the bar and restaurant all together. The tables are disgusting sticky. The wait staff is obnoxiously slow. Manager stands around with his thumb up his a$$. Food was good and timely. Takes hour for them to take your order then another hour just to get the check. Staff hiding behind the counter just to use their phone at the prize booth. Oh man this place is a wreck.

The atmosphere and service was good but the alcoholic drinks were weak as hell. For the price of the drinks, I want to taste the liquors that are in the drink. The drink literally tastes like I got a cap full of liquor & the rest is juice/ice. 2 drinks, no food, I paid almost $30 & could hardly taste the liquor in it......that's ridiculous

The service was non existent and the bar tender was rude. Several employees wouldn't attempt to put the National championship on the TVs and didn't understand how to operate the system. The food is what you would microwave at home. Go anywhere else.

We waited an hour for our table which is fine... Server was AMZING! Food and kitchen service was HORRIBLE. There was 14 of us. They brought kids plates out. Food was cold. 30 min passed asked where other food was she went to kitchen said they were finishing up the burger. 45 min later asked for manager. I asked her to go please check on our food cause if it takes 45 min to finish a burger there's kitchen issues. She was arrogant and said is that your food coming out now? Food was COLD, then brought all food

Super fun venue for a date night or family activity! We played Trivia which is every Tuesday night @ 7:30p. And even won a gift card! Drinks/food are on the pricier side. But?. If you go after 9 PM during the weekdays the apps drop down to $5. Happy hour is 5-7 ($5 drinks). They also have karaoke at 9 PM on Friday nights.

We waited quite a while for a server and only had one present after someone who seemed managerial asked if we had been waited on... response was not yet, and he approached a waitress to take our order. She came to the table with the strong smell of marijuana overwhelming us. We ordered an appetizer and fries to start. Appetizer arrived after quite a while, and fries were even longer. You'd think they would be piping hot after waiting more than 30 minutes... but, no, just lukewarm. Not impressed at all.

Overall, the experience was awesome. Jay, the wait staff was knowledgeable and very attentive. When we return, we want her to serve us again.

Good place for a quick stop! Unique and has to be a you feel.

Great place to go for some fun and relaxation. It's best to pay extra and park in the garage which will cost you an extra $10. This is a nice Dave & Buster?s but it's not as large as others. It appeared that all the games worked and were well taken care of. The staff was friendly, the games were great, the place is well taken care of. The only knock on it is the parking and it's not their biggest place, otherwise it's a great place to have some fun.

1st time visit to D&B New Orleans...11/30 Saturday afternoon at 12noon...we got our food around 1:30/2pm. Everything was tasteless. Yes, we expect a wait due to the special event but not poor customer service. This event takes place every year, there's no excuse for poor customer service or not being fully staffed. Nothing was COMP and NO TIP was given. Waffles were cold and tater tots never came out with meal. Presentation of food was horrible. And the bathroom was very NASTY (water all on the floor)! This

The service, drinks and food was awesome! Game time as well! My daughter and I had a great mother and daughter adventure!

Great time. Food was ok. Spicy Korean wings were too salty. Drinks were good. Only issue was slow service at bar/ dining. For Spring Break weekend that is pitiful. Only 3 servers and one bar tender. Staff was nice!

Horrible. If they told you that they will not allow you to have a beer while walking around, then nobody would be here. Everyone is opening back up from covid but not D&B. Want a beer or food, minimum 45 min wait and you must stay st your table. The crazy part is - only one group was dining - the rest of the dining/bar area was empty and yet, you had to wait 45 min for a table. The staff was GREAT but bare bones. Once we did get a table, the beer took forever to get. The entire place is basically empty. G

staff is great. Jamal from special events is fabulous. The winners circle staff were super friendly and nice. The attitudes were spectacular and fit for dave and busters. (Rebecca, Kay, Ashley, Raven, Ty'Jae, Yolanda and Kaylah). The game techs were also awesome and knowledgeable of the games. (Topher, Matt, Markus, Stephen, Romalice, Demario, Sally, Linda, Roderick, Ricardo) The managers Paul, Elie, Jeanne, Steve and Deavon to name a few, were very professional and helpful. This place is working its way u

Appetizer plates were dirty, floors were sticky. Trash can overflowing when they just opened. Took forever to get part of our meal. Definitely signs of lazy management.

Enjoyed celebrating for a friend's birthday at Dave & Buster's. Loved the variety of options on the menu and the Thai chicken superfood chopped salad. Had lots of fun, though it was quite loud. $12 for 60 chips was just enough for me and didn't break the bank. I suggest taking a good look at all the prizes before making a decision; they have some nice gems for surprisingly not too many tickets. Hope to go again.

Horrible, Horrible, HORRIBLE! Cold burnt food and the service was worse. Overcharged us and still didn't get the order right. Waited for and hour for wings that we returned because the wete cold when we first got them and cold when we got them back an hour later. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD!

I've never given a 1 star review before and for an issue that could have been quickly and easily corrected. This was our first time coming to D&B. Our party of two families had lots of kids. I read online and confirmed with the waitress when I ordered the game cards the cost would be $3/card and we could add more than the 15 included points at the kiosk later. When the bill came we were double charged for all of the game cards - two separate charges per card. An entree was also on the wrong ticket, but when

Food was Ok It took a long time with only four tables in the entire facility; I can't imagine if the place was full, manage really needs to be replaced or better train. Little things like ketchup, napkins, and water never came to the table after we ask for them. /: Thanks for the kitchen doing a good job but service sucks I know this is not Dave & Buster standards so please tighten up; for me, my family, and friends and every Dave & Buster?s customer for next time.

Had a work event last week omgggg the quest challenges we did was fun and exciting the fact that they had 2 referee?s GB & Keisha made it even more hype they did an awesome job the servers and staff was very helpful as well I'm definitely booking an event so we can do the challenge

The Pepperoni Flatbread was the best thing that was ordered! We also had burgers and wings. They were good.... not great..but good! The place got busy, and they completely forgot about us. We had to go ask for our tickets, to go water, and take out containers. They either need to add more people during rush time or mange the door dash orders better.

The food was good . But we were there to watch Superbowl and the staff couldn't keep up . Waited 2 1/2 to get drinks and food once the game started. They were not prepared for the busy game. ??

The arcade is very fun. It is expensive but it is worth it. It is very clean and well maintained. Their prize selection is also good. They have many high quality prizes such as an Xbox series X.

We had a great time! Spent a lot of money. But you cannot put a price on a lifetime of memories! Food was delicious! Had a blast with the games. We will definitely be back. And our service was great. I cannot remember our waiter's name, but he was a light skinned young man with dreadlocks in. Or maybe just wild braids lol. That doesn't matter, he was exceptional! He went above and beyond. I hope he see's this review. Dave & Buster's in New Orleans. We were there Sunday, the 23rd of May. If you haven't been,

Crystal (dancing) was the worst server I ever had in my entire life. I asked for a soda and she said ?sorry we only have water.? I said okay I'll take a water. I later went to the bar and saw the bartender serving soda from the soda gun so I asked for a soda and was given one so not sure why I was lied to by Crystal. We then ordered 3 sandwiches and my dad never received his. When I asked Crystal where his sandwich was she said ?idk that's the food runners job if I do it then they take my tips.? She then sa

I Had a great experience! I feel bad because I can't remember my server name but he was awesome (which means I probably should've remembered his name even more) Tonight was the first time my son came to D&B. Our server greeted us with a smile, got our drinks fast, and kicked it with my son as well. MOST IMPORTANT I DROPPED MY WALLET AND HE GAVE IT BACK!!! Needless to say the night could've took a different turn if the worst happened, but it didn't. My son definitely enjoyed himself as well as me and my fian

I went here for a Christmas party event held for my job and our hosts were JB and MAYA ...I HAVE TO SAY, JB BROUGHT THE HYPE when it comes to creating a fun and playful atmosphere, we really needed that! And thank you for Maya, she was so sweet and they were prompt on serving and cleaning up after our big crew! Well done!

Good selection of modern video games. The games were some of the latest and greatest all in good working order. You can get a good amount of play on $20 worth of game card.

Not sure if it's the jerseys we wore or if it's poor management but there were plenty of issues. - we were not given silverware and for napkins all we had was a stack of bar napkins - the wrong pizza was brought and my house salad was only lettuce and croutons (I don't fault the server for these and she did take the items back ) - they started playing loud borderline inappropriate music in the section they sat us in *If there was a rating I could apply to management I would give it 1 star

You serve yourself via a QR code someone brings it and never sees them again. However you are asked for a tip on the bill. Just send me a text and I will pick it up . Not used to the age of technology.

So fun! Great to bring kids or super fun for a date! A little pricey, and I personally don't like the menu (it's extensive but not exactly healthy) or sweet cocktails and punches which is what most of the drinks are. If you're into that though, you'll love the kitchen and bar. I just ordered whiskey, so I was satisfied with that, and I can't understate how fun it is to have a few drinks and run around playing games!! It's expensive to play, and it really adds up, so go ahead and spring for one of the deals.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
