Dave & Buster's Mobile

Reviews Summary

Mixed reviews with frequent service complaints (long waits, inattentive staff, incorrect orders) overshadowing positive experiences. Food quality varies, with undercooked meals reported. Arcade/gaming area generally praised, though some machines malfunction. Standout bartenders receive glowing praise, but overall service inconsistency and poor management responses dominate feedback. Some guests enjoyed meals and atmosphere when service was smooth, but negative experiences (especially with reservations/host staff) are prevalent.

Customer Reviews

This was our first visit here. The atmosphere was very active. Seating was available and the number of games they have were plentiful. The food we ordered was a disappointment. It was nothing more than bar or bowling alley quality. Not what we expected at all. Other than that, our server McKenzie was awesome. Extremely friendly and great personality. We enjoyed having her.

New location, so everything works and is clean. Staff was helpful and courteous. The food was good. Food was a little slow, but she was very overwhelmed. Nice selection of games. Only a couple were out of sorts. This is closer to my house than the one in Panama city, so it will be a toss-up of which one we will head to. Had a really good time.

Amazing Experience at Dave & Buster?s! I recently visited this Dave & Buster?s and I have to say, it was such a fun and memorable experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was exciting and full of energy. The combination of great food, fun games, and a lively environment made for the perfect night out. First, let's talk about the food?it was absolutely delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by the variety on the menu. Whether you're in the mood for classic bar food, burgers, or something a l

Good location! Came here during my road trip to both Mobile and New Orleans. Had dinner while I was there and my waitress was very nice and attentive. I got the high score on some of the retro games on the Pac-Man's Pixel Bash machine.

The restaurant had a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, with staff members who were attentive and polite throughout our visit. Our server, Joshua, was particularly great?he was prompt, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed. The service overall was efficient, with minimal wait times for our food and drinks. As for the food, while it was decent, it didn't quite justify the price point. Given the franchise, we expected it to be on the expensive side, but $40 for just two appetizers and two s

Overall pretty good experience! The wait for food was a bit excessive around an hour, the menu was a bit sticky and service wasn't fully there. The games itself were nice a huge variety!! The game area was very clean as well. I'd definitely go back though.

So much fun and super crowded! Modern design, spacious, nice decor with lots of exciting, new games. Conveniently located near Costco and Top Gulf, among other restaurants and businesses. We'll be back!

Dave & Buster's isn't like it used to be. Haven't been since like 2016. Too expensive now & they no longer have my favorite game "Deal or no deal." They make you think the $60 power play deal is unlimited & all you can play but, really read the fine print first or ask questions about it before you purchase b/c it's NOT ?? unlimited like you think. It's only 90 minutes of play & you only get a limited number of tickets that you can win as well. Once you get to 1,500 tickets that you've accumulated, that is i

I was there for a work gathering. The restaurant was unable to accommodate a party of 10 before a shift change at 4pm with caused a wait. We were able to utilize a group bay with a shuffle board table complimentary dur to the wait. My group had a lot of fun with the at table game. The server left much to be desired. He did not know the simple drinks we ordered and was not attentive even though it was before the dinner rush. We waited over 50 minutes to order food and by that time ordered, we only had 10 min

Definitely make reservations 45 min wait on a weekday before 6pm, but we used the time to play. The franchise is new and had too many broken games. Food expensive with selective menu, party or 3 $90.00 food tab Great waitress

First and last time at this trash house. This high dollar place was a nightmare from the start. Hair in my beer. Took forever to even see a server (15 minutes after seating). 15 minutes to get my drink after ordering. 25 minutes to get my salad. Waiter went missing so I chased someone down to get a replacement (apparently he got lost, not joking according to other staff). Ordered my drinks during happy hour but since it took so long, got charged normal price because I had to wait so long. Plus the fact we n

I have to say the young woman in the front with straight hair and glasses was very uninviting today and basically rude, acted like she wasn't in the mood to greet or answer questions and as if no one was supposed to be talking to her while standing behind the host podium ignoring and staring waiting for the guest to say something? Clearly she either needs a break or to be replaced. Facility/games and food was good for me. Managers should check in on the front. Also, with a room full of 50+ tables they were

I don't know where to start?. Went to the one in Panama City (FL ) and liked so since we were in town visiting we decided to come by and we were so disappointed with the food had to ask 4 times for water (place was not full at all) We Ordered chicken wings (bone-in) I got 7 my husband got 9 for some reason ?? they didn't came with celery at all so i kindly asked the waitress and she bring some it tested terrible looks like they just picked it up from the trash or someone else plates?? never coming back agai

Chaotic is the best way to start. Made reservations, as soon as we walked in the door we stood at the host stand for almost 10 mins watching host and servers figure out who was going to take the party in front of us and hearing servers say, "I don't want the table". Once we were seated and our server was notifed that we were her table, she took another 10 mins to come back and greet us and take drink orders. Our first time here mind you so I'm not familiar with how any of this works and we intended to get

0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND! I planned a team outing for me and my team from work. We arrived at 4 and played games first. The gaming area is amazing and the staff is very helpful. Let me make that clear. Anyway we decided to migrate to the restaurant at around 5:20pm. We didn't know you have to check in (mainly because you couldn't see the check in counter for all the young girls crowded around it) so we just sat at the first table we saw. A waitress with a nasty attitude and asked who told us we could sit there

Ok 4 star , yes it could've be better , but they just getting started so give them some time , but the game are super fun and amazing, food was pretty good , and the service needs works but the bar was amazing just had to wait to be seated at a table or booth so your best bet is the bar , plus they are super nice and friendly.

If you're in the area, you have to check this place out. They have food, an arcade, and the game will be playing. The prizes in the arcade aren't cheesy prizes either. The whole family will enjoy it.

Went for the first time with my 5 year old son last night. Food was decent, waitress did a fair job, and most of the games worked as they should. All of that was nice, until I discovered my ice chest had been stolen out of the back of my truck while I was there....and I was parked almost directly in front of the front door and DIRECTLY in front of the MPD cruiser there. Mayne those two officers should have been rotating and actually roaming the parking lot instead of being inside the Restaurant/Arcade play

Service was EXCELLENT! MacKenzie waited on our group of 17 and could not have been any better. Food was very good and the kids had a great time. We will definitely return.

The games were a lot of fun and made the visit worthwhile. However, the bar service was really frustrating. We had to wait a long time for drinks on several occasions, even when the bar wasn't busy. Bartenders were standing around but not taking orders or acknowledging anyone. Getting a prize was a hassle to say the least, very nonpersonable staff that obviously did not want to be here. It definitely took away from the overall experience. Thankfully, when we got a table to eat, Xavier took very good care of

Excellent service! The food was really good! It took them less than 5 min to take us to our table, and less than 15-20 to bring all the food/drinks. The only thing is that there were a lot of empty tables still with all the trash but besides that all good!

I had an amazing experience at Dave & Buster?s, thanks to Cory! From the moment my sister and I arrived, Cory was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. His calm and friendly demeanor made the whole experience even better. He was attentive without being overbearing, ensuring we had everything we needed while still letting us enjoy our time. The level of service Cory provided was top-notch, and we truly appreciate the effort they put in to make our visit special. If you're lucky enough to have

I don't usually write reviews, but Xavier Malone deserves all the recognition he can get. I first met him when he was working at SeeWeeRoll, and even back then, he stood out. He was always on point?super attentive, friendly, and just had this calm confidence that made the whole dining experience better. You could tell he genuinely cared about his work and the people he served. Fast forward, and now he's at Dave & Buster?s?and somehow, he's gotten even better. Xavier has this rare mix of professionalism and

The first time I came to Dave & Buster?s, we waited forever for our food, and on top of that, my coupons didn't work and the games kept malfunctioning. The only bright side was Ellie in the prize area she went above and beyond to help us every time. She truly cared about the guests, and I actually started coming back weekly just to see how she was doing and bring my kids to enjoy the place. But on a recent visit, things took a turn for the worse and I found out Ellie had left working there. We had the sam

Our family drove 3 hours for the grand opening to win a free power card with unlimited play Fot the 1st 100 guests. We got in line at 6am people where coming shortly after us. They have lots of high tech games. New games I hav never seen before and so much more. A great play place.eorth the long wait for sure. We loved it.

Experience was terrible, we first started with the arcade but quickly realize alot of machines were malfunctioning and took tokens with working. We decided to get food. The waitress we had was horrible, drinks delivered to the wrong table and when she realized it she brought it to us instead of replacing the old drinks. We never got a single refill. Couldn't find our waitress the entire time. We got our food delivered by other staff and she still didn't come by to check in. Missing an entree, we eventually

The gaming atmosphere was excellent fun and engaging. After leaving the gaming area, the seating space offered a laid-back vibe, perfect for relaxing and enjoying some family time while watching the playoffs. However, the food was a bit of a letdown. The portions weren't great, and unfortunately, the food was served cold especially the fries, which were hard. The server did not give any napkins, didnt check to see if we need anything else. ? Dave and busters? is Over rated in some parts of the establishme

First time at D&B. Fries good, smash sliders good, I did not like the Nashville Hot wings. Just not a southern flavor for me. Pretzel Dogs were good. S?more Cheesecake 5 stars. Games were good and easy with the app to play and track tickets. Service was great. Great for family and parties.

Hands down Rooster is one of the best bartenders I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! This guy was on point - attentive, knowledgeable, and crafted drinks that were absolute perfection?????? The service was top-notch and the atmosphere he helped create was lively and welcoming. If you're looking for an exceptional experience at the bar, look no further! Five stars isn't enough - I'd give him ten stars if I could! ??????

Food -- unknown Service - unknown Atmosphere -- 4 Prices for games extremely high . 260$ ( 3 kids ) disappeared less than in 2 hours . A lot of games out of service conclusion --- this place is expensive version of Chuck E Cheese with opportunity buy alcohol ?? . Impression-- so so

Go for the games. There are a lot of fun arcade games here. Easily the best arcade in the area. The food was mediocre at best and didn't justify the pricepoint. Three of the four things we ordered were cold when they got to the table. The service wasn't great. Our server disappeared for long stretches of time even though he only had two tables. We won't be back.

Visited here for Mother?s Day today 5-11-25 and was completely unsatisfied. We were playing and being Mother?s Day decided to eat. I got the chicken strips and I thought the color looked off but ate some and then noticed my chicken was indeed pink and not done. I alerted a worker who then went to manager and they said no that's done. It was in fact not done my 2 family members can also back me up because they saw it as well and I ended up puking upon leaving. The staff were also not very friendly. We were n

Rooster was simply amazing. This isn't our first time here, but I have to say every time with him seems that way! Always energetic fun and man had us laughing all night! His service is only matched my his smile. Rooster if you see this thank you for being you ! He makes D&B our safe place

The gaming area was great. My granddaughter really enjoyed herself. However, the dining experience was just horrible. We were told that we had a 45 minute wait for a table and they would text us when it was ready. We never received a text. After an hour and a half, we asked them about the table. A server pointed at a table and said that we would be there once the table was cleaned. The host and four servers gathered in a huddle laughing and talking ignoring us and several other customers for about 10 more m

We came in to this establishment on 3/8 @ 9:40 pm. We were not greeted and had to get the hostesses attention. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait in an nearly empty restaurant. Which was fine we played games for 45 minutes with no text. We approached the host stand and asked, they cleared a table for us. Sat for 10 minutes before a server leaving greeted us and brought our waters. We did not see our actual server until the food came out, the order was wrong. She claimed to reenter the order and we

When you walked in it was very busy and there was Noone around to direct us. You kind of had to figure things out for yourself but it was pretty easy. The bartender we had was not friendly at all. She didn't smile or say a word to us. Just got our drink orders. Plenty of games to choose from at a fair enough price. Can't expect much. Too many kids RUNNING though. Knocking into you. You win "tickets" for the game like chucky cheese type deal. The prizes are VERY over priced. We had like 1700 tickets and real

We won't be back. I totally understand that it hasn't been long since they opened but still it was unacceptable. The menus were disgusting. The pages were all stuck together and one actually had food dropped on it. I had to wash my hands after handling it. The food was good. We ordered the cheese burger and it came with 12 french fries. I counted. Geez, french fries are cheap. Every ketchup on all the tables were empty. My husband ordered a simple draft beer and it took almost 30 minutes to get it

I have never experienced such awful service in my life. I spent a considerable amount of money to host a surprise birthday party at Dave & Buster?s, complete with a reservation to ensure a smooth experience. However, everything went wrong from the start. First, we had to wait 30 minutes just to get access to our reserved room, completely ruining the surprise. Then, another 30 minutes passed before we even had a server or received our preordered party food. To make matters worse, part of the order was missin

The staff seemed disinterested and unprepared to serve guests. I had to go to the bar just to locate the Manager on Duty, as there were no hosts or hostesses to greet or acknowledge patrons for nearly 10 minutes. The beer was flat, the food was mediocre, and the overall customer service was severely lacking. While the establishment itself is visually appealing, the lack of training and professionalism among most of the staff (with the exception of one helpful young lady and the Manager on Duty) made for a

So, first I will say that I have been to the Dave & Busters in New Orleans several times and it was fantastic every single time. I was ecstatic to hear they were opening one in Mobile. We reserved 3 tables of 6 (it wouldn't allow us to reserve tables for any more than that and wouldn't let us reserve a party room online) for my friend and her daughter?s birthday. My friend?s mom arrived at 12:30 and checked in for everyone and they confirmed we were in their system for 3 reservations. When we all arrived at

We visited for the first time today. The arcade area was great. Everything worked as it should, and it was very clean. However, the restaurant was an entirely different experience. We were ignored by the hostess, as well as the 3 servers standing around her station. Apparently, whatever was on the server's phone was more important to the hostess at that time than doing her job. Once we were finally acknowledged and seated, we waited over 15 minutes before our server came to the table. She was friendly enoug

For my birthday I went to Dave and Busters last month and I had a wonderful time but one of the stand outs of the night was the bar tender Rooster. He helped make my night one of the best I ever had. He was very entertaining and made sure me and my friends were well taken care of. When you visit Dave and Busters in Mobile Alabama I recommend you ask for the Bartender Rosters I promise you won't regret it

We came here to celebrate my dad?s 51st birthday, we sat at the bar and Rooster was our bartender. Best service we have had in a long time. He was being personal, cracking jokes, fast service, honestly just all around the best bartender we have had in a long time. Rooster if you see this thank you for going a little extra for my father?s birthday. We had a blast! Take care brother!

Our server, Ashley, provided amazing service! She was so sweet, friendly, and attentive; handling our party of 15 with ease. She made sure we always had everything we needed, and our food came out fast. A true gem, thank you for making our experience (daughter's birthday) so enjoyable! Her manager, Travis, also did great by accommodating our request in the most feasible way, ensuring customer satisfaction!

I came here with my family for me and my brothers birthday, and to begin with, my mom called prior and asked about making a reservation and was told she couldn't. When we arrived at D&B to check in, we were told 45 minutes to wait, which turned into an hour. Once we were seated, we had to wait literally 30 minutes before anyone came to the table. Once someone came to the table, it was a waitress who said our designated waitress was ?freaking out? in the back and would be with us in a few minutes. Thirty mor

Place was nice and cool. Just wish the servers were more attentive to its customers. We noticed that they were either talking to one another and not noticing our table waiting for our ordered drinks.I believe there should be more training for its servers.Server would also turn her back constantly when she would take our order and it's very dismissive and has only checked up on us once when we were eating and not a single refill was made or asked if we needed more.I wouldn't recommend eating here.Just only f

Although they were super crowded, my kids still enjoyed themselves. We did not reserve a table, but had to wait a few minutes before one became available. Our waiter was super nice, and the Manager (Aaron) stopped by and made sure we were good!! The food was delicious!!! The burger we ordered was so Huge, we had to split it! We are looking at our schedules to see when we are going back.

We went for a work event and the AC wasn't working, plates for buffet were dirty, found a hair in my food and was overcharged for drinks. My husband paid for the drinks and when we got home I realized how much we were charged and thought surely we were overcharged. Called the location and a woman took a detailed message and I was told I would get a call back from a manager within 24 hours. I never received a phone call.

Loved it. Great experience. Great food. Fun times.

The wait staff spent 95% of the time talking and messing around with each other. Waiting 20min for a drink order and another 25 min before we received our drinks. I could go on for days about the staff spending more time hanging out with eachother than tending to tables. Ordered a long Island it arrived at the table with a large slice of orange and taste like sugar water. We ordered 3 burgers and one arrived without a bun and took 30 more min to get it back with a bun.

Poor execution for an otherwise nice place. Booked a social bay, they seated someone within my time slot, took almost 30 min after my reservation to be seated at a dirty table because the busser was wasting time on his shift and was upset they seated us before he was ?finished?. Had had an attitude not know we were watching the entire time. Server gave our 9 month old a dirty look for spitting up. Server forgot my wife?s drink. Food was not worth the price. Took over 30 min to come out and it looked microwa

We ordered Appetizers and also order our dessert and told waitress to bring when we got ready to leave. We received our dessert way before our appetizers. Then on top of that the appetizers were spicy. The drinks were the only thing close to being good. Then the waitress seemed to be good at first but then got lost somewhere in the back for sometime throught our long wait time on appetizers. This was my first visit there, and o really didnt like it.

Waited 15-20 minutes to be seen on a Tuesday night. I had to get up and ask for every little thing such as but not limited to drinks, utensils, napkins (bathroom paper towels) and small plates to share our appetizer. When food showed up, the hamburger bun was soggy, the chicken wings were cooked in a microwave, the fish had a smell to it, and the kids pizza was cardboard. Not sure who is ordering their supplies but they are out of like 3-4 different menu appetizers. Speaking of ordering supplies, we tri

On my arrival I was seated at a table and waited more than 10 minuets hoping someone would take my order. I watched tables being cleaned, wait staff socializing with one another, walking back and forth past my table. Not one person asked me if I wanted a dink or to place my order, no one seemed to care it was 8:23pm on a Monday night the place wasn't close to being full. I picked up my menu and utensils and took it back to the hostess, She told me that that's an issue they've been having and offered me a s

Had an awesome experience with the new location. The staff was more than friendly and professional, the place was clean and kept up. Food was great. We also had an interaction with the manager, Travis, who went above and beyond to make sure our whole crew had a great time! It's not often you find a GM who walks around checking on everyone with a smile on his face, but we were glad to see that here!!

Thanks Dave & Buster's, it's been a long wait but we're glad your here. Everything looks great and everyone is helpful and friendly ??

It was a very nice place! When we entered, there was not an employee anywhere to ask questions. The line was backed up because only 1 kiosk was working. The people in line weren't aware there were other kiosks to purchase cards. To get a table, the wait was 2 hours. The manager said they didn't have enough employees to wait all the tables. The lady at the bar was very nice and helpful! The food was good. There are many options for enjoyment! I'm excited to have one so close to us!

We sat at the bar and the bartenders weren't friendly or welcoming, they didn't ask to get us anything or talk to us until we had to grab their attention away from the tv screens. It wasn't very busy. Otherwise the place is nice, service was not. We went to Surge the next day and had a way better experience.

My girl and I had our first date night this past Thursday in forever and was so excited to try out your new establishment. The games were great we all the games we wanted to try worked and we had fun. However when it came to the dinner part I was more than disappointed. Walking up from the game area to the restaurant the hostess looked up at us and immediately looked down. We stood there infront of her hostess station for five minutes without acknowledgement. Whatever her coworker was showing on her pho

I went with a group of 4 and the service was terrible. When my name was called over the intercom I went to the hostess explaining that my name was called in which she sighs and rolls her eyes and talks to other employees. When we are finally seated we waited for 40 minutes until we finally ask why we haven't had our order taken yet while theres other people being seated and having their order taken. They explain that we were forgotten about and we finally get our food and drinks ordered. When we got our foo

I've always wanted to go to a Dave and Busters so I was glad one was built within a reasonable distance. I feel like they weren't ready to handle the amount of people that are coming in. We waited hours for our food, but it was very good. A lot of the games were broken already which was a bit annoying. I will say though that Kimberly in the Winners Circle was awesome! She went out of her way to help us get a manager with a token issue we had. The manager was very helpful when we finally did get to speak wit

Had a blast!! The bartender Rooster was amazing and the management Aaron was extremely helpful! Will be coming back soon!

We sat down and waited for almost 30 minutes and no one asked us what we wanted to drink or what we wanted to eat. The waitress walked by us several times and started taking other people orders. So we left. The waitresses needs to do better.

The arcade was packed but didn't feel crowded. The kids were able to play all the games with very little wait time. A lot of the games were down, but once we made the gentlemen working the arcade floor aware, they fixed them quickly. The staff at the prize redemption station was rude, especially the guy. The slot for the 600 earbuds was empty, so we asked him if they had any more in the back, and he told us they were all out without even checking. (He was just standing around talking to the young lady's tha

Made reservations for a social bay online. Someone got seated in our spot because the hostess "didn't check the online reservations first". I appreciate the honesty at least. We were told that after another bay was bussed and cleaned that we would be seated there. For 30 minutes we watched an employee do the slowest, most half-hearted job of bussing a table I have ever seen. When we were seated the tables were sticky, seat cushions were covered with food, and floor had large visible spills. After asking th

Finally went to try out the new Dave n busters today. We decided to try and eat before we played and it got busy. The host sat us, we sat for 15 mins without anyone greeting our table. Several employees looked at us but no one acknowledged us. So we decided to just go play the arcade and spend our money on food somewhere else. I hate to say we aren't surprised by the experience with it being in mobile.

I really enjoyed my first ever visit to your establishment. The servers were awesome. Wanted them to change the channel so that I could see the UFC fight. They wasted no time in helping with the situation. I was there visiting for the weekend. Food is also great. I will be back

It was Dave and Buster's, it is a new establishment so there are going to be growing pains(Hopefully they will adjust accordingly) The kiosks did not work properly, the game kiosks need to be moved from the front door! They are right in the way of incoming and outgoing customers making a major JAM! The food was at best, average, but it is 'pub food' so not really expecting much more. It is very loud and parents not wrangling their kids (not D&Bs fault) made for even more chaos. Anyway, glad we have somethin

Me and my old man really enjoyed ourselves tonight. the food was so wonderful n good specially the ribs and smash burgers, fries the bomb margarita was also one of my favorite !!?? let's talk about the games they were so fun had so many choices of games to play for adults and the kiddos!! Clean place, security on site most of all our waitress (Shanavia ) was so sweet, cool , very outgoing and nice. She made sure we was straight always checked on us every minute I have nothing but nice things to say about th

Dave & Buster's in Mobile, AL is horrible. We drove all the way there for this bad experience. First the girl at the door didn't seem pleasant at all. Like she didn't want to be there. So then they seat you. Mind you it's only like 4 tables with people in it and one came after us but were served immediately. Wairess are going to other tables passing ours So after being there for about 15 minutes we decided to leave. No one came to even offer us a glass of water. We didn't even stay to play games. Hope you

Not so grande opening. I was expecting more. Perhaps the management staff was part of the kids working there with little to no experience? The place just opened and we went early enough in the morning to get the ?fresh opening? experience. Complete let down. How can a place just opening already have trash on the floor everywhere? Dirty bathrooms? Half the games there were all out service. Spent $70 and lasted about 30 minutes of play. I agree with the other review for this place, if management doesn't cha

Bartender Rooster had the best customer service experience, from the time we sat down, being greeted and welcomed, ordered our drinks and received with a short wait time. Very professional, food and drinks exceptional. 10/10 will recommend.

Besides the hostess not knowing which menu to order from when using the eat, drink, play combo power card, everything was pretty good. Spent way more than I expected due to that but...& I asked for no onions, got onions. Took almost 10 minutes longer than my friends food to come out. I had to remind the manager about it. The bartender seemed a little confused. Other than that everything else was great.

Our waitress Phoebe was great and met us with a cheerful friendly work ethic. The hostess and first impression was not so good. We were met by someone sucking on a pacifier sucker. This is the first person you see when you come in. She was young, so this is a management problem.

DO NOT RECOMMEND WAITED FOR 45 minutes to then wait an additional 25 minutes once seated because the waitress kept passing us by horrible service! Don't go read other reviews this place will never make it , tons of tables open but they aren't seating anyone

Came here with my family for Military Mondays and the 4 staff members had no clue as to what to even do for the free play cards. I felt really bad for the father and daughter next in line that were in front of us just simply trying to get seated for food. This location had multiple tables opened (probably enough to seat 14 families and there was a line going right behind us. "Technical issues" one of the staff members claimed was going on in their internal system. 2 of the staff members were trying to hel

Sylvia, at Dave & Buster's did an excellent job hosting our event in the VIP room. We was accommodated really well. I will definitely host my next event there without a doubt. Thanks to Sylvia, and the Dave & Buster's staff for their excellent services.

We arrived at 4:45 pm for our reservation, we were told that they would check to see if a table was available. We were sat down around 4:50 pm. We waited until 5:30 and said something to the host stand about not even being acknowledged yet by a single waiter/waitress. One of our party members got up and said something and they thought we asked for silverware. They promptly came over and we explained we still haven't ordered drinks and it was 30 minutes are we had been sat down. They saw our waitress and sai

I brought my nieces and nephews there a week ago and we really enjoyed ourselves. The hostess Raegan was helpful and she greeted us with a smile.

We had a party of 13 with about 1/2 that do not speak English. Ian was our server. He was exemplary! Patient, kind, accurate, engaging! He made our gathering so much better!

Expensive and not worth it. I really don't know where to begin with the food experience. The entrees came out one at a time with 5-10 mins between each plate. The first entree came out before the drinks even got to us. The last entree came out 40 mins after we ordered. Everyone was done eating when the last entree made it to us. The girl bringing the entrees to us had zero personality and acted like she didn't want to be there. It was really bizarre. This place feels like a total cluster. The food was very

We were excited to take our grandkids for some fun knowing D&B was new to our area, only to be disappointed from the very get go. There were two people at the hostess booth that were more interested in their conversation than doing their job having us standing with no greeting or acknowledgement of our presence only bickering about what they were told to do apparently by the manager. After finally being seated we were never approached by any wait staff for about 15 minutes, after finally getting someone's a

The hostess that sat us at our table was not friendly. And she also sat at a table that did not have a server. For that matter none of the hostesses that were working were friendly. They were ignoring the customer service when they came in the door. They need to have better customer service.

Waiting on a waiting list for over 2 hours for 1 adult and 2 kids from 3:51 till 6:01. We played in the arcade for over and hour to burn time. We had Kia who took forever between visit to the table and the attitude was not necessary. When asked if we needed anything else I pointed to the sauce that came with my meal because my mouth was full and she walked away. She came back by again about 5 mins and as she walked by with attitude announced that my ranch was coming and kept walking. Never got a refill on

First time visiting and the ticket card kiosks were down and would not process payment for anyone. We tried asking staff if we could pay with them, but no one knew what to do. We were sent back and forth between staff members for more than 20 minutes before a manager finally told us there were computer issues and we'd have to purchase through the restaurant. That should have been fine, except there was a 20 minute wait at the restaurant for a table. I am now leaving 40 minutes after I walked in the door wi

Awful. I've been to D&B in other cities and the difference was night and day. This location in Mobile is like Chucky Cheese 2.0. That was what the atmosphere was like but the service was even worse. The service was the worst we have ever experienced which was not surprising because nearly all of the employees were teenagers. Most of which congregated at the hostess station while diners waited forever on their food with little to no attention from the waiting staff. Management was nowhere to be found. It was

Took us 2 1/2 hours to get tables we had reserved for 1:00. Was told just because you make a reservation doesn't mean you will actually get the tables. I even rented a bay and they refused to give it to me even though there were four free bays. Finally had to just sit my grandkids in the bay without assistance besides the waitress. Was treated with total disrespect by manager Aaron

Took my son there to eat some food and play games. They sat us down at our table we waited 20 minutes without anyone coming and taking even our drink order so we decided not to eat as it was taking entirely too long and they weren't extremely busy so I'd hate to see it if it was busy. Other than that the games were fun

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
