We attended a corporate event. Food - chicken legs & thighs, sausages, corn bread, baked beans, potato salad, lava cake, and an Alfredo pasta station. Food was ok. We played some games after the food. It was strange they had weird point values like 3.8 to play a game. ???????
When I was younger, D&B seemed to be advertised more like a "grown-up date-night" kind of place, so I was pleased to see it was very family friendly. We went on a Saturday afternoon but it wasn't extremely crowded. Seems well maintained, only a couple out of all the games were down/out of order. The food and service was nice as well. We will be back!
We have been to this location so many times and watch it change a bunch. This used to be one of our favorite places to eat but recently changed their menu and we lost our favorite dishes. Still very good food to be had though and great drinks! The machines to play are really fun. Typical issues with broken machines and faulty equipment but it's few and far in our experience. We have had big group parties here and enjoyed the service and running back and forth to play games. They have trivia nights ,
I had never been to a D&B until this visit. It made me think of a casino, for the family. The food was good, flavorful, and delivered rather quickly. The drink I ordered was good, a watermelon concoction with strawberry ice cubes and lime salt. I'm not sure that I'd go back just to eat if I wasn't gaming due to the noise, but it was a fun place to stop in and check out.
The service is absolutely top tier. One of the training employees (I believer her name was Marcy) was an absolute delight. Such a sweetheart and so attentive and kind! The man training with her was awesome as well. I just loved Marcy?s whole vibe. Also the bartender Sarah, great conversation holder, also very sweet and attentive, and good at making drinks. Kids loved the games and the prizes, the restaurant area was a great size and had a positive atmosphere. I've always loved Dave & Busters, this location
Food and service was great! The first Dave & Busters that i really enjoyed completely! We will return
This was our first time here. The food was excellent. There were some promotions going on with the chips. It was a little confusing trying to figure out which package to get. There was also a $20 credit on the app. We couldn't get any of that to work so the manager just did it. There wasn't anyone to run the VR so we had to wait a bit. Then it messed up when one of our party tried it again. Manager was very helpful but some of the games messed up quite a few times. All in all we had a good time.
I had a fantastic experience. Amber was the greatest bartender and she had great recommendations. The manager even came by just to check on us. I love this place. I will definitely come back!
First and foremost we came out here as a family first thing that happened was ribs came out with plastic still on them. Ok gave them the benefit of the doubt for a new set of ribs brought back the same ones that were still cut when we cut them and smelled like plastic REALLY!!!! Second thing that happened was gentlemen came up and starting throwing away food from our table that we ordered to take home. Waitress was absolutely amazing I will not take that from her. Manager needs to find a new job she didn'
Went there for our youngest 11th birthday. He had a blast. It was our first time going. The food is what it is. The burgers were good, the boneless wings seemed freezer burnt or just didn't taste good. Games were fun the family had a good time
The food was horrible. My father order the ribeye and it game and they had cooked it in the plastic, and when we asked for a new one they brought back the exact same one. When we told the manager she said ?they smoked it and put it back in the plastic to save the flavor.? some of our family went to the car to grab some thing and me and my aunt were sitting at the table and someone waiter came over and threw away a whole meal that was untouched and didn't even ask if we were done eating or not. Our waitress
This place is so big and full of sports events on big TV screens. And so many games to play. From the smallest person to the biggest person will find something that they would enjoy. The new interaction rooms are big and very fun to play. So many bright lights and games everywhere. Even if you're not playing games yourself you can have so much fun just watching others play. They have a really outstanding food menu. And their food is always on point
We love Dave and Buster?s our 1st ?date?(we were still friends now happily married) and now we love spending time there!!! We are traveling for my husband?s job and are here in KY for 13 weeks! We now go every Wednesday for our date day and have a blast!!! Just got a foot massager with our tickets!!! The only thing missing is the football throw game its my hubbys favorite!! Some new things coming we are excited to see?
Went during pandemic so half the machines were off. The food was good and so were the drinks . I enjoyed myself but got bored quick due to limited entertainment options but I can't blame that on restaurant . I'll visit again Came back in 2023: food was still good. All games were working. Not that fun as an adult in my opinion but cool for kids and teenagers whole adults eat or drink while they run around.
First time at a Dave and Busters. My husband and I were visiting our son for the weekend and wanted to do something fun before we got on the road to head home. We arrived shortly after opening so it was not busy at all. The gaming area was clean and all the games we played were functioning as expected. Afterwards, we sat down for lunch. The food was good. Our server could have attended to us a little more. Overall, it's a great place for fun games and good food.
It was my first time at this place and let me tell you, I enjoyed every second of it. Loved the atmosphere, the food and the service. I can't forget to mention Justin! He was there helping us with games and explained how everything worked there. He is truly remarkable and made our visit a unique experience. Thanks Justin!!!!
I called to get information. Sounded like a great place when I looked online, but the person who answered the phone acted like I was bothering him. Never even made it to the place. Very cold, unfriendly like he couldn't be bothered. Why would someone treat a potential customer like that?
Went around 1:00 Sunday 12/29/24. The service was very slow but we thought they looked under staffed so we were patient. My wife, two sons, and I all got different types of burgers. They were delicious! Pretty much their main saving grace. The arcade was a bit of a rip off. The new decimal system payment for playing the games ends up screwing you out of more of your games over time. We put about $40 on our card. My sons won about 130 tickets. At the very least we thought they would be able to get a piece of
You only ever get one first impression and boy did Dave and Busters have a bad one. First our reservations made over 24 hrs in advance with the request of a regular table was ignored and we were placed by the bar. It took over 20 minutes after being seated before a waitress came by to get our drink order. The food portions were small for the price. I never saw the waitress again after the food was delivered. After we were done we waited I never received a refill on my drink. We waited for another 20 m
A great time! It's a huge place with a ton of games -- and many of them are games I haven't seen anywhere else. It's super easy to get your card and start playing. The staff was very friendly as well.
Kid friendly, super nice staff, very spacious 10 out of 10
Great food and a cool arcade. My Caesar salad wasn't very expensive but was surprisingly good quality. The Italian girl who sold me a play card was a cutie! Wish it had more classics and music games, though. There's a Pac-Man multi-machine that takes cash donations for Make-A-Wish (no card), and also Guitar Hero and Pump it Up. Glad to have those but I want more more more! If they added more games like those I'd be there every day!!! Also wish they had that human crane game, hopefully they'll get it
I would like to start by saying if you like to go to some place that is packed full of screaming kids and people and eat frozen TV food dinner quality food then this is the place for you. The service was horrible you couldn't understand the waiter for his mumbling and talking so quiet. When I received my food it was a bowlful of shoestring size french fries with three tiny pieces of fish with an abundance of sprinkled parsley I guess that's what made it worth as much as it cost. Finally when I went to pay m
My daughter has been wanting to check out Dave and Busters for about a year now. Make no mistake about these places are nothing more Kids Casinos! No literally but the difference is only one fact. The winnings aren't money! If kids were winning money it would be illegal. Walking in my daughter commented how good it smelled and I agree it's smells fresh when you walk in. Prices are comparable to their competition such as Main Event but these kind of places are expensive in my book. I spent $35 in about 45
Great until I realized they took our table and threw away our boxes of take home. $280 for 3 people and that is how we were treated. Next time the waitress will not get a $50 tip. Unbelievable.
First of all, let me just say that Covid crushed a lot of places like this and with everyone coming out of being trapped at home and so many people NOT working, it was not at all surprising that they were TERRIBLY understaffed. That being said, it is hard to give an accurate review of our experience. We only ordered the Garlic Parmesan Truffle Fries (which were deliciously nutty tasting) because it was an extremely long wait for ANYTHING whether you went up to the bar or possibly found a table. All the staf
my first visit I ordered the fried cauliflower it came to me raw batter. However Justin the manager came to our table and handled the situation friendly and professionally. Justin apologized for the undercooked cauliflower. I also ordered fresh coffee, the bartender served me old and cold coffee. Our server she was great atmosphere was fun. Took quite some time to get someone to attend to a game in which it wasn't operating properly. However it was finally dealt with and my grandson got to play two games som
Had a great time up until I was forced to tip 30 dollars to a guy named Clancy I only seen 2 times my whole visit. Will never be back. Do better. Pay your workers more. This should be illegal
Food, atmosphere, and the fun is great. The bartender sucked attitude sucks. Mixed drinks are $14 and they barely put anything in them as well.
My family and I had loads of fun playing in the arcade. We also enjoyed our dining experience the first time we went. However, the second time we went to D&B?s, we only wanted to dine (not play), and the person at the front desk couldn't even tell us when a new table would be ready for us. They didn't seem all the eager or interested in helping us either. So we left as quickly as we arrived and ate somewhere else. It wasn't even as busy as the first time we went there and there were many empty tables so I'm
Most of the machines in the arcade weren't working properly, just stealing my credits. The card wasn't keeping track of all the tickets I earned either. The employees did refund credits for some of them but it really kills the fun when you have to seek out help for a broken machine every 5 minutes. There are other arcades so I don't see any reason to go back here.
Went for the very first time tonight, had a good time. I'm s genderfluid trans man and I was able to correct staff and they took it ask in stride, and Jojo up front found and returned one of my pins! Mike and another woman in the back at the bar were stupendous and funny, and everyone at the front desk was great too. Very helpful, very funny, very kind. Front desk noticed a tear in the Luigi stuffed plush I picked and gave us another AND a free leftover Rick and Morty pin! Games were a ton of fun tickets ar
Went to have a family outing and finally try the food. After being seated we waited about 15 mins for the server to finish cutting up with what i assumed was friends or family at the table next to us. After that took another 10 mins to get water. Upon trying to order we were told that the eat play combo advertised everywhere was not available on fri or sats. That is not listed on the signage or website. Was a shame games were fun nonetheless. Would have been nice to eat though
cool place. went there and surprised to see a cyberpunk 2077 game., thats my favorite game and I tried it and one of the employees name of alex was really hyped about it and showed me a couple f secrets in it and even gave me a free game and played a round with me. then i walked around for a while. place is huge. wish they had a coffee machine or something tho but im gonna hit this place up every so often. i hope they get a witcher game too
Sat down and it took about 20 mins before I was approached by a server about what I wanted to drink .. she was pretty unfriendly . But the food was great . The shrimp dip was awesome and u had the 14 Oz ribeye , it was cooked perfect and it was seasoned just right . I was actually very impressed with the food . This was the first time ever going there so I didn't know what to expect. Pleasantly surprised!!
First time ever going to a Dave and Busters and we had a blast. Our server was wonderful and explained how everything worked. The kids are ready to go back!
Update 1/25/23. This place is still clean, everything works and the NACHO?S are to DIE FOR. This location is amazing! The selection of games is perfect and nothing is broken or out of order! The bathrooms are clean and well kept, the bar is beautiful. This was our first time there but we will be back on a Thursday to taste the unlimited wings and play along with some drinks. I will update after. Our favorite game is the connect 4 basketball game. We've never seen that before and thought it was both fun and
Me and my boyfriend came to visit Louisville for a graduation. And I wanted to stop in the night before we left and play a few games with him. We had a wonderful time! Customer service was great. Cody helped us tremendously!! Gave us great detail in many of my questions.
Waited by the podium for service for 10 minutes, then went to the bar to inquire about being seated. The person behind bar appeared to be only worker. Waited another 10 minutes while she took care of the 2 other groups...finally left and went elsewhere as it was awkward not even being acknowledged or being told someone would help us. Disappointed as we were looking forward to eating and playing some games.
Great place for both adults and kids to unwind. Better to go in during their slow days so you have better chances of customer service Espally if one of the game machines need maintenance. Will be coming back and offers a lot of different prizes you can get. I helped my daughter grind the hell out of a few games and we managed to accumulate over a total of 30,000 tickets! The employees go above and beyond for the customers. Espally when there's a problem with any of the games. Even the coin games, which is
We didn't eat last night because we had already had dinner so I can't rate the food experience as we were celebrating my son's birthday..the staff was helpful as well, they answered all of our questions
Never had been here before, brought my three children here and we had a great time. The food was amazing not what I expected. And our server Mike he was new but he did a excellent job.
We had our quarterly team building outing here on Friday and I think we all had a blast! The food was delicious, the competition was a blast, and just being a team together was great! I will definitely be coming back on my own with my family!
I was there for a friend's birthday party and going there lowkey ruined the night. Host having an unprovoked attitude with us. Took forever to get a waiter. Took even longer to get our drinks and food. Atleast the games were fun lol
It was our first time going here and had a newborn, 3yr old, and 9 Yr old. They had games for both the boys and the food was delicious! Our waitress was awesome too! Overall, a great experience and we will be returning. :)
My husband and I had a date night here about a year ago! We had so much fun! Great service! The adult drinks and food were sooo yummy!
Great drinks and food and perfect place for a team outing for work! We had one of the best waitresses I've ever had. D&B is attached to Mall St Matthews, so there's lots of parking. The games were a lot of fun, but we did run into a couple that wouldn't work. The staff gave us extra tokens for the trouble though so that was nice.
This was hopefully the only bad experience I'll ever have at a D&B because I will not be returning to this location. I had planned a birthday for my co-worker where we would see a movie then have some fun here. Conveniently located next door to the theater. We wanted food first and the server was just sitting at a table talking it up with someone on the phone. It took her about 10 minutes to even ask us if we wanted drinks. We ordered finally and the food took 45 minutes to arrive. There were other servers
Had a great time playing games, but the best part was Kevin. He was extremely helpful and elevated our experience.
I had placed an order for delivery from here and ordered 2 WELL DONE cheeseburgers but received this instead. This doesn't look cooked at all. It didn't start getting really pink until after I took a couple of bites.
I've been to 12 different Dave and busyers across the country and this is by far the worse one. Horrible service, took 30 mins just to place an order, another 30 mins to get another drink. Never coming back here, as I am a food critics and reviewer.
I had an awesome day at Dave and Busters yesterday! My work pals and I had a team building day and had a blast! First we had a great catered lunch, then we broke up into 4 teams and had some friendly competition. The staff was so friendly and they made sure we had a great time. Plus, my team won!!!Yay team Pitch Perfect! I highly recommend Dave and Busters for a great time!
Had such a good time here with my wife! We got a groupon for 25 bucks for two unlimited games passes, and then I had a free ten dollar gaming card from signing up on the email list thing. We had such a blast. Played until we got tired. The games are a really great selection for all ages. The place is so clean and new. Of course we went early on a weekday also, so there was basically no crowd at all. Can't wait to go back!
Games are great , says alot coming from a gamers since the early 80s. And someone who collects arcade games . Atmosphere, building setup amazing . Although we sit for an hour asked waitress 3x for service stated would get someone no one ever showed. Ended up going to the bar just got some fountain drinks and headed out.
The workers are RUDE and NOT helpful!! I purchased 2 $20 play cards on Groupon. The bartender told me that it was a waste to purchase from Groupon that there were better deals at their location. When I asked about the better deals, I was pointed to a kiosk that would have cost double what I paid. I needed 2 more cards, but NOBODY wanted to help me get the "better deals". Dear Dave & Busters Louisville, KY location, you actually DO NOT have to be hateful!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! WILL NEVER VISIT
Enjoyed the food drink's and fun my little cousin's really had a good time we had a great family day out nice too shop and then go next door and play lol
I was there to celebrate a family member's birthday. It had a wonderful atmosphere and would recommend it to people to throw birthday parties here.
A very clean well organized place to come to eat and have fun. The food is very delicious little on the high side but well worth it. Very clean open and loud LOL that's what makes the experience nice.
The arcade games are fun and all but when I went to eat, I ordered a well done all American burger to only get an undercooked burger. It was pink. My boyfriend's burger was also undercooked and pink. His fries were also undercooked.
Had a great time with the kids and wife here on Father's Day. Service was slow due to staffing issues in the dining area. Danielle did a great job filling in as Host and Server. The food was delicious, and the kids actually cleared their plates. If you are looking for a good time and a friendly atmosphere, look no further. I'm only rating 4 stars due to the staffing issue, and it taking longer to get service. Food was roughly $80 for a family of 5, and the game cards ran about $200 for all 5 of us to play.
The waiter my friends and I had was rude, and had the nerve to ask for a tip which I declined. Food is below average at best.
My family got an eat and play deal but we had to try the Korean BBQ ribs as well. They are so so delicious! I ordered the Voodoo pasta which I loved. After playing games all day, the kids said it was the best day ever!
Loved every moment of being here. Warm and loving staff. Clean facility with hand sanitizers everywhere and staff cleaning every machine around the clock. They do a great job closing off certain machines for social distancing. Job well done
Fun for the whole family. Wednesdays are half price games typically. Food is just OK.
Fun and games perfect for all ages. Minus two stars due to the fact that there is never a hostess and never an open table. We've sat at the bar area twice and both times had to clean our own tables.
My toddler enjoyed himself though we did not find may age appropriate games for him. It wasn't extremely busy when we went which was a plus.
I had fun. They have a good variety of games and I will probably go back. A few games didn't work and getting refunded was a bit of a hassle, but they did make good on everything that malfunctioned.
I visited the store on Sunday with my family and was very satisfied with the service.
Atmosphere is amazing!! Food quality is eh, mess hall quality. Management involvement and rebound of service was very much over the top. However, it took 28 minutes to receive our check. Will give them a second chance, but not anytime soon. Also do not ask for a togo SWEET TEA..YOU ARE TOLD NO TOGO drinks are allowed to leave the building THEN U SEE THIS
Celebrated my birthday 3/19.. It was a good time. Watched match madness games, ordered wings and hit up the arcade with my dad and son. ??
Very nice set up only thing is they get ya three dollars on yourncsrdbwhemnya paynat front desk forncard on how much ya wanna spend n thry dont barely do any kind of discounts for any kind of state employees n food is to high so i wound up using one of my twn dollar chick-fil-a gift cards that was giving to me n purchased me sum 8ncount nuggets n save me some ??!
Love coming here every time i go to the mall i stop here after to play some games and have a drink.i haven't had the chance to eat here because they get really packed .i love that its not like other places where the games are super expensive ill get a 20 dollars card and it will last me for a long time.
Should've been a 5 star review. Unfortunately server 971960 Nicole was very rude even after spending $200.00 with 20% tip. Other then the bar tender...5 stars! Go and have fun here!
I have had a power card for 8 years from when I lived in Chicago and never went. I moved back to Louisville and we just got one this year. I. Know.. we slow lol... And I wanted to go with a friend and her grandson and the card still WORKING.. and we had a ball.
Almost every game we tried to play ate our money and needed attendant to come fix for us. Prize we got after spending almost 200 dollars in play, an auto fetch ball launch for dogs, was missing the most important part, the ball.
Large D&B. Mac and cheese was too liquidy, fries a little cold and soggy. Rest of the place was fine. More restaurant, bar and private booths than games now
Food came out a bit slow, but the Hawaiian chicken sandwich tasted amazing! Drinks were great and the bartenders were super friendly.
Much improved experience they have a very modern store with a are a and several tables lots of games and few were actually broke staff was minimal but nice and food was as expected
The fish was over cooked and had a wild taste but the Parmesan cheese fries were really good. The server we had was really friendly and she gave good service especially since their were 19 of us and 12 were kids and best of all the grandchildren had a good time
Place is pretty legit, however the ticket prices for the prizes are outrageous, just saying
Horrible service Food came out in stages Missing one plate of food Took forever for drinks and refills and wasnt busy at all
My son and I had a blast. Tons of game option and the food was good.
Prices were about to be expected for the area unfortunately but the food was delicious and there were plenty of games to keep our kiddo entertained. The 'cost' of the prizes was excessive for also items that you could've paid a dollar for at a dollar store. Our server was very good at her job but extremely busy. Not sure if they were short staffed but she was hectic and a little frazzled by the time were done with our meal.
My son and I randomly decided to come here today. I bought a $66 card which came out to I think $74 after tax. It gave us over 400 points. We both were able to play for a couple of hours. We ate and the server told us to download the app and we can get 50% off our food. Which I did and we got the 50% off. We had fun and I needed a fun day like today. We would definitely go back.
We made a family trip here on Sunday, August 25th, 2024 as a treat. (Family of Three) We have been here before and had a BLAST. However, this past weekend was such a disappointment. There wasn't really anyone there, so we got in and to a table pretty quick. We ordered the nachos because we had them previously, when they came out, they came out in a small bowl (previously came out on a larger metal tray), which was very disappointing for $14. It wasn't really warm either. My Husband and I ordered the wings,
Horrible restaurant service. Our waiter has barely acknowledged us and half of our table has drinks that have still not come. She has went to every other table but us. We got here at 6:15 and it is now 8:03. They got my mom?s steak wrong and we are STILL waiting on it. Terrible. You can't treat customers like this. I get that it is busy but she hasn't said anything to us in almost an hour?. I'm only giving it 2 stars because I love playing the games?. We just got the steak and it's wrong AGAIN!!! Omg Thi
The food was okay, the waiter in the beginning came around often, after we paid she didn't return even after a box was requested. The drinks were hit or miss depending on the bartender. Overall it wasn't a bad experience but I wish there was a bigger variety of multiplayer games.
I absolutely enjoyed Dave & Buster's. There is plenty of seating and different types of seating, extra large booths, tables w/chairs & bar stool chairs. The games were a blast. The bathrooms were ok and the food was excellent. It is easy to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere at Dav&Bus??
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
