We went to this location for the first time and it was not busy as others we were able to play in the machines and have drinks with fast service. The only thing is that their dinning area is really small and it's just next to the gaming area were you don't have a privacy at all since everything is around you.
We celebrated my son's 12th birthday here April 18th. Our server was Joe, such a carefree down to Earth guy. No issue was to small. Food was delicious tables clean, drinks good too! The pretty lady at the bar with the short curly hair was very friendly and served up some delicious drinks. The bathrooms were clean, lighting was selfie friendly. Spoke to the manager there and let her know what a great place she was running and she was grateful for my compliments so I'm putting them here for the world to see.
Had a fantastic time here with a group of friends! The person who sat us, Ty, was especially friendly and helpful and really got our night off to a great start. Just a peach, honestly! Our server (I forget her name, but she had a Lilo and Stitch tattoo) was fun and joked around with us, and was super patient and attentive. Our group arrived at different times, but they all got served within minutes. The games were fun here, but the staff were exceptional!
We celebrated my wife's 40th birthday party last night and it was fantastic. Our server, Joe, was on it. So attentive! His concern for our entire group showed in his incredible service. The food was great. The games were so much fun. The managers were so accommodating as well. We saved our cards to fill up again when we return soon. (Is today too soon to come back and continue the fun?!)
We just went here for the first time for a family birthday. The kids and adults alike had a blast! They were able to accommodate our gluten allergies and my son even got to enjoy French fries which rarely happens! The servers were attentive and kind, the facility was clean. We felt safe as well because they had security at the door which is appreciated!
It was a good experience up until, we had went up to a staff member and asked if we can sit at the booth to get food a Caucasian/hispanic lady with dark hair in a pony tail. She asked us how old we were and we said 18. She told us that we had to be 21 to get sat down. We asked a different staff member if we can get a booth to sit for food he told us that we can sit at any open table. She came up to us with a lot of hostility to tell us that we can't sit down because we weren't 21. MIND you we were not order
My family and I was there for about 3 hours today for Mother?s Day. We ate then we went to play. While we was leaving the manager SETH stopped my children and I at the door and asked about my gift card payment. I felt that he should?ve said something after we left the table eating. Not 3 hours later like I was stealing. And asked for a picture of my gift card. I will be contacting corporate. Terrible experience.
I'm here to withdraw my 2 star review and replace with 5. I visited when they were new and hashing out the kinks. The staff was apologetic and urged us to come back and give them another chance. I'm so glad we did! Their staff really cares about the place and the guest experience. Food is delicious. Lots of good game selections.
We had a 50th birthday from my friend. The food was great the games were fun to play and sitting around at the bar for the adults was a great time being a little watch. Stuff sports and everything for adults
?Ok? visit- Not the WOW factor that I was looking for.. Nice & Clean- We will return
The manager is so friendly! He was so kind. The place, and restrooms are super clean. Good place to have a good time. I paid 60 per person with food and 90 minutes of unlimited play.
This new location is wonderful! So many new games, a lovely layout. We will be back soon! Selena (manager) is such a kind and helpful person with a ton of experience. This location is lucky to have her!
Me and my family waited for almost 15-20 minutes waiting for a server to come. Mind you the restaurant was completely dead and only one other party was seated. We looked for someone to help us, and we saw all the servers just messing around and talking to each other in the back by the kitchen area and they didn't even acknowledge us at all. We immediately got up and left. We got no drinks food or anything.
Avoid this place! Many of the workers don't pay attention to customers. Really bad service and so much unprofessional people. They have a nice clean place but what's the point if service is bad. On Tuesday night The bartenders were so UNPROFESSIONAL while I was waiting 30 minutes for my food. A fight broke out with the bartender she stated she was from the hood and serious consequences could happen. She started calling them broke and a comment that's disgusting to even mention. We left as soon as it star
First I would like to say, my family and I love Dave & Busters. We live in Illinois and we've been to numerous locations (Vernon Hills, Schaumburg, Addison, Downtown Chicago, Orland Park, and even in other states). My Fianc??s birthday was Friday the 25th and we usually doing things the whole weekend to celebrate. To conclude her birthday on Sunday, we decided to finish off with food and games at D&B. Instead of going to her favorite location in (Vernon Hills), we decided to try the new Lombard location.
Showed up with 9 people, Adriel rocked it! He did a great job waiting our table! Aaron came around checking to see how everything was going and was very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious! We will be back soon!
We had decided to try this place since it's fairly new but were very dissapointed. First,The duration of the wait to be seated at a table was excessive, and the atmosphere seemed disorganized we weren't able to play any games in the arcade while we wait, as those waiting for tables were occupying them. After nearly an hour, we decided to take a seat at the bar in the hopes of receiving more prompt service. Although ,the drinks were delivered in a timely manner, the food however took close to an hour and w
Went here for the first time and left, I won't be back. Got seated immediately for dining and waited over 20 minutes (set a timer on my phone) and never once was acknowledged by anyone, didn't even have silverware or water. None of the staff had any urgency to attend to customers (waitresses, waiters, bartenders, door greeters). Lot of staff on their phones, careless and disrespectful. Really disappointed. All of the staff definitely needs improvement, very poor customer service.
We had an amazing experience! Samantha, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of?her professionalism and attention to detail were exceptional. Chanel, Stas, and Devontae were outstanding bartenders. They crafted delicious drinks, provided excellent service, and created a fun, welcoming atmosphere. The entire team worked seamlessly to ensure a fantastic time. Highly recommend!
Staff was nice, walked in around 1:30 on a Saturday told 30 min wait, kids played game about 35 mins later got a table. Ordered our food and drinks, then ordered a side of fries that never came and was removed. Staff: super friendly. Food: okay. pricey for what it is.. but everything is expensive these days.games were between I'd say 8-12.5 or so credits each? Over all it was clean. Will likely be back at some point.
Love this new location. The entire family had a blast. Very clean with great games for all. Amazing place to watch sports and a ton of staff. Can't wait to go back.
I visited this location on a Sunday afternoon. It was not busy, there were not many people there. I immediately noticed all the empty cups that were left on the small table tops near the games. There didn't seem to be anyone picking them up. Which was a bit startling to me, since there were many children running around. These cups had a lot of left over alcohol. There were a few games that were malfunctioning and it seemed they were aware. However no out of order sign was put on the game. They just continu
We didn't dine in or have any food. It was 12pm on a Saturday and the wait was 40 minutes to sit down and eat so we went inside the mall to grab a bite not a big deal, some of the games weren't working properly and ended up taking funds but someone ended up giving us the credit on other games which was nice. My issue is with one of the people at the tickets claim booth. Guy with long hair and glasses, he was rude when we asked to just pay the difference for a prize seemed aggressive and agitated when we ask
We hosted our wedding after party here. We had 35 guests ranging from young teens to grandparents. Everyone had a blast and the food and service was great. So much fun!
Selena, the manager, was great. A lot of new games. Bar tenders were great too. Quick, attentive, and overall a great experience.
Such an awful experience with the bartender and Manager Donavan. They definitely don't know how to handle the guests. The bartender got our food order wrong and never apologized she took the food out of my partners hand and we were hungry left empty handed! Are you kidding me?? The manager came by insisted of apologizing and making things better he was taking her side and didn't even care . It's so stupid ( I'm not sure what's happening between them two) We were there to visit the location for second time a
Small, not many games. Service is the worst part of this place. I loved the addison location before it started to go downhill when it was about to close down. Menus are sticky. Tables are dirty, employees standing around, Nobody does their job or goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome.
My experience with D&B has been limited to the Chicago and Schaumburg locations. I took my cousins sons to the Yorktown site yesterday. The kiosks didn't provide new cards. I asked at front desk about cards and she told me to stand in line. When I was standing in line, an employee asked what I wanted - I told her and she told me to go to the kiosks. I told her that they said it wasn't functioning and she said "oh...okay." The woman in front of me just wanted a gift card. The kids were anxious and it was clu
If I could do zero stars I would! Worse service we ever received! Didn't get correct drinks, food took over 45 mins to get, server never checked on us until my husband finally found a manager. Definitely wouldn't recommend or ever return to! Very disappointing since it was my nieces 16th birthday!
Good afternoon! Boy did I get lucky! We called this Dave and Busters because we have the grandkids in a few days and wanted to inquire if we needed reservations and also inquire about how it works (food and games etc). I was greeted by a gentleman named Aaron who come to find out is the General Manager~ he was so super nice and spent at least 10 minutes on the phone with me explaining how the program works and eased my mind about bringing the grandkids here! It is NOT often that you run across someone li
Amazing experience for me 24th birthday! Chanel, the bartender, really made my night. The other bartenders that I did not get the name of were amazing. Thank you for a great experience!
Amazing dinning experience and wonderful staff. Went in on a Saturday night, definitely worth the wait. Managers Aaron and Samantha checked in during dinning experience which was lovely. Definitely would (and will) visit again.
Yesterday I went with a friend of mine to this location. We wanted to give this location a chance. We had a few issues with the place. 1. The place is almost empty. Maybe it has to do with the fact we went on a weekday. That being said the only staff I pretty much saw that day were the bartender and the repair guy. The bartender was friendly and explained to us how to reload our cards which was helpful. 2. One of the first games we played did not work. (The Godzilla game). When we noticed the headset was no
Adiel was awesome! Great service and the food was amazing! Super fast too! It's definitely a smaller place than the Addison one but overall I can't complain. Thanks for bringing fun to the area!!
Our server made sure we were taken care of all of the time. Managers came up and made sure we were having a good time. Really felt welcomed.
Unfortunately disappointed. Even after contacting local management twice and corporate management, no resolution to our horrible experience. I would advise you to spend your money elsewhere.
The person hostess was very rude and NOT friendly at all kept scratching her head and nose. She is the face of the company as soon as you walk in and she is NOT representing a fun place where you want to spend money. She was rude and very unwelcome.
Terrible Experience ? Avoid This Place!** I had the misfortune of celebrating a birthday at this restaurant, and it was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We were a large group, so we were prepared for some waiting, but from the moment we arrived, things quickly went downhill. We were told it would be a wait for a table, which we understood. However, the issues started when we requested a specific server, and that request was denied without any clear explanation. Fine, no
When Dave and Busters closed their original Schaumburg location we were devasted. It was a great faculty with a ton of games. Mid 2023 they closed that location for their new Schaumburg location that's in their new format. At the new Schaumburg location the employees told us that the games from the original Schaumburg location went to the new Lombard location. So today we made the trip to there to check it out. We were disappointed in our visit. Some of the games that we loved in their original lo
Its a new venue, they just got set up. Overall the experience was great. They had the same number of games as the old addison location, the only thing missing are the pool tables. But they have new air hockey tables (2 here), photo booth and the new TV setup in the bar area is top notch. Staff was friendly and attentive. We even lost a bag and they helped find it for us. Food was great and so were the drinks. I just wish corporate would add some vegan options. Otherwise its a great location and experience a
Sat at a table for 15 minutes, and no one came to take our order, say hi or acknowledge we were there. Then moved to the bar thinking we would be waited on, and that was not the case. Very disappointing. Appears to be under staff.
I went in to the lombard location and purchased two silver winter season passes. After purchase they tell you find a staff member. We found the desk and they told us it can take up to 30 minutes to get the QR code and they can't do anything about it. He then told us it's a blackout day and we can't use it. Online and in the store lists that it is clearly not a blackout day. But if it was in fact a black out day you would think they wouldn't let you purchase it on those days. I then asked for a refund and th
This one seemed a little smaller than the other ones but had plenty of games to keep us occupied. My only complaint is they needed a small bar area to sit and rest in between serving non alcoholic drinks.
I wish I could rate this no stars! We were waiting at least 20 minutes for a waiter to even come and greet us, we didn't stay for one too because we were over it. The 2 girls at the front were just talking and not paying attention at all, except to when I brought it to their attention we weren't even served. I feel bad for how bitchy I was to them (sorry not sorry) but I've been a hostess before doesn't hurt to wait a few tables if the help is needed instead of goofing around up front it's not social time i
Very small for a Dave and busters. Certain games are pricy so be sure to check before. Overall pricy night. Drinks were good and all the staff were polite and helpful.
Wish there was more games but Dave and busters is always a hit. The drinks are ok . Would prefer the happy hour piece for the quality
I went there for my birthday food was good, games were fun wish they had the ones I liked, service was horrible took us so long to get our food and drinks and it was very crowded, kids running around, parents not doing anything it was pretty chaotic but still nothing intense happend
Small Dave and Buster and the food was average. The bartender was great and knew how to make some great drinks.
We were driving down the road and noticed there was this D&B which we have not been too. After going inside to check it out we were really disappointed. It is very small with barely any games to play. We literally walked in and walked back out. We have been to several D&B locations. This one by far is the worst and won't be coming back again.
I reviewed this because the food was delicious. I am cutting them slack because this was the first week of them opening, so they still need to work some things out. We were a party of 6. Food came at different times, and had to ask where our drinks were a couple of times. The server was doing her best to check on us, and the runners seemed like it was there first day on the job a little confused. I'm sure in a couple weeks they will have things running more smoothly. We were not mad, we took it in stri
I was greeted by a hostess, right upon entering the facility was brought to my table in the dining area by the front. The place Is clean as it did just open, but the lights were a little too bright up in the area. Unfortunately, my son had a huge letdown. He had done really good in school and as a reward got to choose where to go he wanted to go to this location as the Addison one had closed to eat and play some games. We sat at a table for about 20 minutes without getting greeted at all.
It's new and clean but very small compared to all other locations. Many of my favorite games didn't make the trip over from Addison. Hoping in the future this location can get more space in the adjoining area from other closed businesses.
The location is very small and the host staff is overly rude. We waited almost two hours to try and get a table for my nephews birthday, and when we inquired about the wait all they could say was ?well it's a Saturday what do you expect?
Took my 8 year old for his bday. He had a great time. He loved the pitching game. I liked the basketball game. Staff was great. Everything was clean. Food was great. Great service. Huge tv screens, would love to watch a game there. Awesome air hockey, coolest I've ever seen.
Corporate FAILED!! This location is a total flop from their Addison one! Total disappointment! Walked in spent 15 minutes and walked out. Don't waist your time going.
Love how there's a closer location to me. It's really nice inside, a lot of gamez and my drink tasted really good (watermelon marg). The only thing I wish was that it wasn't so tight inside. Not sure if the schaumburg location is bigger cus it's ?schaumburg? but I love that the games are spread out over there. My husband & I went on a saturday and it was pretty busy, I bumped elbows with some people. But as my first time experience here it was decent, can't speak on the food since we only came to play.
I've always loved Dave & Buster?s since I was a kid. This place never fails to be a great time!
It's a nice and cozy location. A smaller D&B location. Enjoyed watching the football game and be able to hear the game in the bar area. Will Come back hopefully they offer adult only hours at this location.
The place is good. Food is great and service is good. The atmosphere is heavy i don't know if it's because we're Hispanic but folks kept on staring us down.
Super clean, staff was extremely friendly, food was delicious, service was fast. The menu had a lot to choose from, and everything we ordered was amazing! We will definitely be coming back!
Paid 15$ for a cocktail that was 90% ice and mostly mixer. Extremely small selection of games. Waited 20 minutes for a manager just so I could use a coupon, bar staff seemed untrained and un-knowledgeable.
What a great experience! Our service for our large party was top of the line! The managers checked on us often. The food was very good and the facility looks great!
Staff was very friendly!!!! And it was so much fun. Love this place. Will definitely be back!
Website said billiards which is why we were excited to them in Lombard. Alas, no billiards. Felt the manager wasn't as friendly. The staff called him up and he asked us to show him where it said billiards, which we did. Went to Pyramid in Addison instead.
This new location is great. The food was great! The service was attentive and quick. The GM Aaron was so polite and helpful, it made our experience even better.
Pretty disappointed in this place to be honest. Clean and good games but, just not like the old D&B
First time here and will definitely be going back. Helpful and fun staff, good food, good drinks. Overall a great experience.
3 hour wait for restruant. I got in a little faster. Waitress screwed up my salad. The place is smaller than it appears thanks to mirrors. The only thing i would give 5 STARS IS THE MANAGER SAMANTHA. SHE IS AWESOME ALL THE WAY AROUND. FROM HANDLING MY ISSUE ONCE SHE HEARD MY ABOUT ME HAVING TO WAIT 3 HOURS TO SIT AND EAT BUT I WANTED MY CHILD TO HAVE HER GAME PASSES RIGHT AWAY. SHE ADDRESED THE CONCERN RIGHT AWAY AND I DIDN'T MIND AFTERWARDS WAITING. THEN WHEN THE WAITRESS TOLD ME MY SALAD WOULD PRETTY MUCH
Great location but was refused service at the bar due to having an matricula from the Mexican consulate. Per the individual that helped us those are not valid form of ID in the US. Instead was asking for a passport from the Mexican consulate.
We spent our last hours Saturday playing games, nothing like being a kid again.
Worst service ever and food was just ok nothing great! I WONT EVER BE BACK! GOOD LUCK HERE!
Had an amazing time! The staff was extremely attentive and the chicken sandwich was awesome!
Fun atmosphere and I felt like a kid when I was playing the games. Friendly staff and would definitely come back.
A little smaller than some of the rest but overall great experience!
The eating area was horrible. TVs very loud, struggled to hear our server. Very long time waiting for service and the bill. The game room is small.
Only went for the arcade which was, lacking terribly. Overpriced and out of stuff to do within minutes. Was left underwhelmed and disappointed
It was such a terrible experience. Staff are known to be rude and many of the games weren't working despite the location being new. Could be better.
My experience good customer service greeted with a smile Scooby was great person ask questions about how can you hel to make the stay perfect my response keep up what you are doing.
First time coming & was really impressed by the staff & food.
First time there but we all had a good time.
When in on Monday to dine in server took fot ever on refill went to the bar to get my own refill of soda bar was making faces when I asked for a refill of soda they were bringing the refill of fries on paper container instead of plates and manager turned of the light at and music at 12:03 band at 12 05 said she needed to close i know they close at 12 but that was rude I've never had this experience before in mi life rude manager and staff
This place is easy too expensive. The games take too many credits per game play.
Very nice and had lots of fun with the my kids can't wait to come back
Place hardly has any games and prices are outrageous
I had a really fun time here with family and friends. Will definitely be back!
If I could I would give it 0 stars terrible service.
Great services, manager is awesome!!! And great time with great people!!!!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
